I think I have a couple haircare things in this video 3 makeup products. I'm loving a few clothing accessories

I'm loving them to go through some fun stuff like music and a couple food things and whatnot

So I really like sharing with you guys new things that I'm discovering

Yeah, so let's go ahead and get started. We're gonna kick this off with skincare first

I am forever obsessed with this facial facial wash first up. I'm obsessed with this

I'm not even pretending I'm obsessed with this face wash that is from lush several months ago

I was a Kinsey in store and she was talking about this and I got a little sample of it

It was amazing and I made it last as long as I could I had to go back and get the real deal

So this is their herbalism face wash as you can see. It's like a green solid in here

so you kind of just like scoop out a little chunk and then put it under water and then just

It says this is a face and body cleanser gentle herbal cleanser with ground almonds to exfoliate and rice vinegar to mop up

Excess oil I have oily skin. So I love this

I can't necessarily speak to this affecting breakouts in any way

But basically what I do with this is I keep it in the shower

So I have a separate face wash I use in my sink area every morning every time I shower I give my face another wash

With this after I wash my face with this and wash it off my skin feels softer than it feels

Any other time like it doesn't feel like it's just my skin. It feels like there's like this light sounds great

But like it's like coated in this like smooth something

I don't know how to other than that all around just a big fan Alex made this one there

I'm loving is the gloss a body hero body wash pick this up from the glossier store here in LA having not really known anything

About it just because I want to want to try more products from glossier. Yeah, their packaging is just cute

So that's what reeled me and they're very clever people there. Now. I really love this. So it's a daily oil wash

So you pump it out into your hand. It's like a

Oily shower gel consistency and you just lather it up it kind of

Transitions into a foam and then I I don't wash my face. I don't know why I did that

I just use it as a body wash has a great scent as well

At least my skin very moisturized because some other like random shower gels that I just like

Get in my obsession from time to time that I use

fragrances in them that like burn my legs if I recently shaved or like do weird stuff to my legs that are not poor they

Like dry out my skin on my arms and whatnot

And this does not either of those also our trash is getting picked up right now. So we're gonna pause

Alright, we're back from our intermission. So next up

I have seen some other people talk about this in their favorites videos

And I think rightfully so it is the fresh black tea kombucha facial treatment essence, which is a mouthful of a name

But basically I didn't know anything about this. I went to a fresh event Oh in LA a couple months ago

They're giving these don't basically as those described to me is that this is a great product for at the end of the day

After you've taken off your makeup washed your face done and your toner

I don't know whatever you need to do is kind of like the final step and you just apply this all over your face

I think you're supposed to use like a cotton pad or something

But I don't like doing that because product I feel like gets absorbed more into that than it does into my face

so to make this last longer

I just wash my hands and then literally just like pour some out into my hand and apply that everywhere

So this is great for getting the like last amount of like

Dirt or makeup or whatever off of your face as well as it's also good for anti-aging

You do it down here work on the double triple quadruple it

I love how the end is a smaller one so you can get in your nose area

You can do this around your eyes or temples. It's just easier to concentrate those smaller areas

So I think SEP really quickly just a couple of hair care items. First of all, this is the dry bard detox dry shampoo

I love it a because it smells like the dry bar if you've ever been to the dry bar

Everything has this magical scent about it. Then nothing else on earth smells like and it just makes me happy

However, also this really is an excellent dry shampoo

I would compare this more along the lines to like a batiste dry shampoo. Then a trust me one cuz Trust mate

Let me know if trust my dry shampoo works for you. It does nothing for me

But with batiste, I really like how it actually is absorbing everything

It leaves my hair like looking volumize dand, like not weighed down and oily. So this has the same effect

I do even like this one more than the batiste win just because I feel like the batiste one kind of like you can get

A lot of product build-up if you're using too much as I feel like really dissolves really gets the job done

Big fan of this dry shampoo, I believe it said Sephora or Nordstrom or something again next up for haircare

I am so excited for this. I might be more excited for this than anything else

I actually learned about this despite being a big rush fan from a random video on Facebook

shampoo bars from lush and I never thought about this before in this video did a great job of presenting this point that is that

Obviously all of us are conscious in this day and age about recycling and trying to cut down like how much waste we're using

Unnecessarily and we all have our like little stainless-steel straws

Now what's striking is how much plastic we throw away from shampoo and conditioner bottles

at least I do and body wash and everything like that and think about how many of those you throw away in a year or

Much less five years or your lifetime. So I had never been presented with the idea of a solid shampoo bar

and basically you just get this wet and you kind of just like

Scrub this everywhere in your hair and wash your hair. Normally I think that's a genius idea you have this involved

This is all the waste which you recycle, obviously

But they all have different benefits and different ingredients

Is this Neutrogena concealer? I found a fresh one because so I could read this. It's the hydro boost hydrating concealer

It works to refresh thirsty dry skin with hydrating core smooth and buildable coverage

100% just retweet all of that previously

I was using like the tart shape tape concealer for like highlighting just like under eyes and just like little places

I need to cover up or I was using the Too Faced Born This Way one and basically liquid concealers for me since my skin

Is really oily

It's just I've learned is a bad combination for like throughout the day and making my makeup last so what I love about this

It's not like what it's a solid you just kind of like swipe on where you want it

I still go with my Beauty Blender and just like blend it out. This is such a hydrating concealer without being oily

It's very weightless concealer

I use the shade light for kind of like my highlight areas

But also just concealing things and this isn't like the fullest fullest coverage concealer

It does do a really good job. But if there's like some big going on like there was this morning

I still just revert back to my benefit point concealer because that is the best full coverage one

Then I've ever used big fan of this you get it strike starting it at Target. You can get a lot of places

So, for example, I have this necklace that I plan to be wearing a lot in Greece

It's just great with any like summery dress or summer top or even over just like a white t-shirt to sort of spice it up

and basically I'm just very impressed with the quality and with the fact that it's keeping its color grand Emily had it for about a

Month, but I've been wearing these a lot this pair of earrings. That's like a little hoop followed by this like cross charm

I've been wearing these all the time. They've just become some staples to me this summer

They're definitely the ones I wear the most by show you the details on this pair because you can see better

So I do have them in black then I went back and got them in this dark green color

Which I love I feel like Kim Possible if I were to wear this with a black shirt

And then I also got this like nude pair. Basically, it's just a stretchy ankle this material. I don't know how to describe it

It's not sweat pant like it's not regular jogger. Like this isn't cotton. I feel like this is like a

Rayon polyester material now at least for the comfort be it for the price point especially for Urban Outfitters

Additionally because these can really be dressed up or dressed down and I'm very impressed because despite the fabric being really thin

I just want to talk about two pairs of shoes. I've been wearing all the time first up for my Air Force Ones

These are so so comfortable. Just generally I've been on like a white shoes kick and secondly in the sandal department

I've been loving these Steve Madden like camel upper sandals. They have about a one-inch platform as well

And yeah again just kind of straight to the point

So first of all drinking it right now, let's drinking it during our trash intermission

I've been really feeling not necessarily even just from press Juicery

These are from pressed Juicery. But this is their vanilla almond milk. It has almond States vanilla and sea salt. It's so good

I love these and la creación has these at home in North Carolina clean juice has like their little almond milk or coffee milk

Please just have lots of variations of the same thing and they just taste really good

Lastly in food section has to do with water and so something I've been doing lately

that is a

Favorite of mine and that's been really getting me to drink a lot more water lately is that I was getting tired of lemon water

It was nice for a while. It kept me interested lately. I've been putting frozen berries in like my water bottles that morning

I'll put a small handful of frozen berries into my water and I'll just drink from that all day

So when I drink the water fill it up keep filling it up keep drinking it

it tastes so good the berries really infuse the water with a good flavor all day and

7 Best Ways to Spot an ICO or Business Scam Fast - Duration: 9:48.

Hey this is Steve Good and Yuri Cataldo from The Coin Chat we're here to cut through the

noise and misinformation on cryptocurrency to tell you what truly

matters today we're breaking down the 7 hot things you need to look for to

spot an ICO yes scams ICO scams right absolutely so we're gonna start

jumping in right now with #1 one so when you're looking at an ICO

website first thing you got to do or not the first things but one of

the first things you should look for is the location now a lot of these ICO

websites just don't have a location that already should be an alarm bell but

those that do have a location amazingly sometimes their addresses make no sense

now just to illustrate that I'm gonna give an example so I'm just gonna share

my screen over here and I want to give people an example of what this looks

like when you go to a screen and it takes you to an electrical box now now

what's interesting about this is actually the full address when I put it

on to Google didn't actually take me anywhere it wasn't sure where to go so I

took out everything on the postcode and just focused on the postcode in London

and when I did that it took me to this electrical box which by the way just in

case you're wondering why they're standing there holding their pints it

was across the street from the old fountain pub that's clearly not the

address we were intending to get to for the ICO so I thought I'm gonna be a bit

more clever about this quick check now is it just the address or am I going

crazy so I took the postcode out and I put in the full address that didn't work

so I just put in the number and street address and I got oh how nice I'm over

here now completely different location yeah so absolutely scam point #1

check the address if that doesn't work as a full address break it into parts if

different parts are giving you different locations that is absolutely 100% scam

central oh my god back over to you Yuri for point #2 point two is the actual team

and their their contact details so do research is on the on the website they

list the team does the team each have their own individual

LinkedIn profile does a profile show what other projects they've worked on in the

past or is suddenly this is the first project they've worked on there are a

lot of teams out there who just copy and paste actual stock photos so reverse

google image search the stock photos also there are some are some teams who

hired models to be part of their fake ICO how many times have you done that Yuri? hired models to be

part of my fake ICO no not hired to be part of the ICO not enough so if people

just need stock photo models I'm available but yes so do your research on

that look at the ICO advisors there was one ICO who had had Putin as an ICO

advisor clearly that's fake he doesn't do that nor does he care so just do your

research look into them like look at their websites contact their previous

employers if you're not sure who they are or actually you can

double-check all this like everybody's LinkedIn profiles who have more than a

year have detailed lists of what they've done so do your due diligence and don't

be afraid to reach out to them reach out to the companies and equally you know if they go

to an event you can pretty well find out I if they've gone to the event because

they'll be there there's photos of them and the the ones that actually go to the

events and say mention events like in Twitter use the @ sign and you mentioned

the event you've been to that event will mention you back and say hey thanks it

was great to meet you so that kind of validates the person was

really there now it might have been a fake person posting it or something like

that but at least check and see if they've been to events conferences

they're doing videos check them on Facebook check them on Twitter look them

up everywhere and make sure they're real absolutely I totally agree with you Yuri

critical one and if there's no photos or anything on the team site that's a

problem that's a problem yeah you got to make sure you know who you're investing

in and what kind of project you're getting involved with so I'm going to

jump to point #3 kind of similarly related which is now you know these

people exist but there's no contact details for the project I'm not talking

about address and location I'm talking about phone numbers and email addresses

to get in touch with them because it's great if you have an address but it's

fake it's even worse if you can't even contact them through the website because

that's kind of a no-brainer to at least be able to send in a form

because if you can't send a form registering your details or contacting

them no email addresses to contact them that's kind of a problem because how do

you know where they are who if they exist or if it's just they don't want to

be contacted so then if I can't find it on the website I'm gonna go check their

Facebook page or the company website page I'm gonna check their Twitter page

I'm gonna check their LinkedIn page they better have a LinkedIn page for the

company okay and I'm checking to make sure that I can contact them and if I

can't reach them I'm concerned because they should be reachable somewhere yes

they definitely should okay I might jump to the next point #4 and that is their

white paper oh yeah I like it you should look at their website and make

sure there is a white paper listed on there but the first thing you should

check for is plagiarism there are professional white paper writers out

there who just copy and paste things over so I know you mentioned that you

did this before where you just copy and paste the text into Google search and

find out if it's plagiarizing absolutely very easy to do that yeah so you can you

do that you should make sure that in the white paper they have their product

roadmap they have their token model you make sure they don't talk about what

blockchain is or what bitcoin is because they should be focusing on the important

matters which is their product and when you know push comes to shove look at

the original bitcoin white paper by Satoshi that's like nine pages it is the

gold standard of what to look for into great detail about what's happening why

where when how so do your research and know those details

absolutely so we're gonna jump into the next one #5 which is now your hit the

website you're excited about the project you click the link to go to Twitter and

it doesn't go anywhere now I hate to say this but seriously when you're looking

at ICOs and scams absolutely you must check click the links at the top of the

website and at the bottom of the website a good page will have the links

somewhere at the top usually it's got Twitter

it's got telegram probably has LinkedIn might have Facebook but it has the links

at the bottom of the page will have them too sometimes they forget in the footer

and that's okay it's not ideal but it does happen shouldn't happen but it does

but if you're clicking the links and they either don't go where they're

supposed to go or they take you to dead pages or they simply click and nothing

happens that tells you something's wrong now you can go start hunting for them on

Facebook Twitter Linkedin Instagram and such if you want to but it's already

tells you there's a problem if you're going to their pages and you just can't

get to the actual pages themselves now if you do get to a LinkedIn page and

they have something like 20 posts and they have you know 5,000 followers

that's a problem that's a slightly different problem that just says they're

buying lots of likes and lots of followers as well so for me the whole social media

piece about validating the links and validating that the social channels are

good is all about making sure that they're actually out there and real and

they're not just buying pages in they're not putting fake stuff up there so make

sure the lates work the links don't work get out of there because you know

something else is wrong definitely yeah I mean it's it's about

the project being authentic and the people being authentic authenticity is

number one here we want everyone here to see that's a major takeaway of these seven

points is it's all about the authenticity of that ICO not just

the fact that they're doing it but their authentic nature in terms of their

project and their intentions and their intentions being to invest that money wisely not

to steal it exactly okay so another thing you want to look out for #6 terms and

conditions so all of these should be listed on the website to let you know

what they're like so what their privacy policy are if there's an escrow company

working with them with the coins so to make sure that once you invest your coins

you then get the appropriate version of their cryptocurrency back to you are

they a verifiable registered company they should tell you where they're

registered you should be able to look that up and see if they're registered in

whatever company and make sure they're following the rules of that company it's

especially a big deal in the United States with companies not following

not following SEC compliance and getting shut down very quickly it's actually

absolutely yeah absolutely everyone yeah so I'm gonna follow that out for the

last one #7 the product roadmap now product roadmap itself by definition

doesn't make its scammy or not scammy but you can find either two things one

there is no product roadmap but just we're launching a payment coin yay or

they're gonna launch a roadmap that says you know Q3 next year coin hits

exchange right coin right or or Q2 you know in Q2 you know next

phase of delivery are you you can find road maps that show there has been no

thought process no leadership no you no anything

so those are our 7 points for takeaway

What is the best DAW software for music production // for beginners - Duration: 9:02.

what is the best software for music production? you may have asked yourself

the question just like I did when I start out in this video I'll give you

some guidance on what to look out for when choosing a DAW. so what is the best DAW?

the answer to that question may surprise you

welcome back how are you doing I hope you're doing marvelously well. consider

subscribing to the channel if you already haven't. the best DAW is

the DAW that you can work the quickest and the most comfortable with. but what

that is? well, in this video I'll give you some guidelines for that. don't listen to

what everybody else says you need to use: Ableton, Logic or whatever every DAW has

its strengths and weaknesses and if there was one DAW for everybody

everybody would use it. there are a couple of different DAWs out there

I'll start by naming a few starting with the bigger ones

FL Studio, Logic Pro X from Apple, Ableton and pro tools

less famous are Studio One, Reaper and Cubase. but there are a lot more DAWs

out there. let's start off with FL Studio. I FL Studio started out under the

name Fruity Loops and they released in 2018 a Mac version, so it's now available

on the windows and on the Mac. FL Studio has a little bit of an image problem. a

lot of people don't take FL studio seriously, because they solve things

differently in their software. okay. and as a computer programmer I have to step

in here. FL studio is written in the programming language Delphi and Delphi is

not the optimal language to program CPU and computing heavy stuff for. but a DAW

is. CPU heavy stuff is written in a programming language C or a derivative

of that, because it is the language closest to the language of the computer

and every big software company that is programming CPU heavy stuff will use C

for that. but not FL studio, so FL Studio will never be the fastest DAW around.

You pay about 800 euros for the full version of FL Studio. then the software that I

know pretty well. Logic, Logic Pro X. I started out producing in Logic and I took

producing classes and Logic. Logic is just one version so no standard professional

ultimate etc etc etc. one version for 200 euros and it is the

cheapest and most complete software there's only a Mac version so Windows is

not an option, because it's produced by Apple. there are three big problems that

I have with the software: first of all you can't search for plugins and presets

regretfully, every other software can, but they don't do that

second of all it displays a message when it maxed out the CPU, then you have to

click OK and press the spacebar again to stop playing the song and will probably

max out again, so you have to press ok spacebar, ok spacebar, ok spacebar, that's

annoying. any other software crackles a bit and continues playing also what I

don't like is that the bugs are really not fixed in the software. Apple updates

pretty much everything from equalizers to spiffy-looking plugins

yeah, but the bugs for example in the EXS24 sampler they refuse to fix

then Live or Ableton Live, everybody says

Ableton but they mean Live, Live is the name of the software. Ableton is the name

of the firm. I think life is the most used software by EDM producers.

in my search for a new DAW. Tried Ableton Live and I really like it.

What I like the most is that editor. it works a little bit like Lego and that works

really well. also I like the plugins at the bottom of the screen, but regretfully

that works only with plugins developed by Ableton itself, so you don't take

advantage of that with third-party plugins, and what I also like is the live

feature in Ableton Live and almost every DAW lacks that feature. what I don't

like is the way how automation works. I also don't like the track folding it's

too big or too small it's nothing in between

Ableton Live is about 600 euros: full version then ProTools well I don't even consider

it is a serious option for a beginner. you need a software and hardware key for

that it's really complicated and then also they charge you 900 euros per year

just for the updates, then on top of that they lack features: they are behind

on the competition. the only, one and only reason why you want to consider Pro Tools

is because it is used in professional recording studios.

I use Studio One because for me it has the least weaknesses. but it's definitely not

the best software around for example when I want to zoom in or zoom out or

scroll and a bigger project it lags sometimes two three seconds before it

reacts to my commands. also what I don't like but, ok I can work around, is the way

side chains work. it's horribly complicated. I name a few things I like

about this software: first of all this search feature for plugins, .presets and

files also you can drag and drop your plugins on your project. also the editor.

clips stick really nicely to the grid. then the preview file browser with auto

tempo adjust to your project. I like also the scratch pad: just to try things out.

automation right click on a point and just enter a value. then the range tool

from Pro Tools so the upper section of a clip means something different than the

lower section of the clip when you hover over it with the mouse. with one you edit

and with the other you grab the clip and I like the start page a lot. I like also

that the software is constantly being developed. you can find Studio One the

pro version that's the biggest version for about 400 euros. if you want a more

in-depth view of Presonus Studio One let me know in the comments below, maybe I'll

make a video about it. you can download trial versions of different DAWS

regretfully Logic is an exception to that. but even

Presonus Studio One has a full-functioning version that you can get for free on the

website. most DAWs have Windows and a Mac version. but again Logic is an

exception to that. but just choose one DAW and start with it. try to learn and

try to learn the basics. if you learn the basics in one DAW, you can apply that to

the next ,so if you're unhappy with your choice in a year or so, you can still

switch to another one, but I think it's more important that you learn the basics

than choosing the right one immediately. Does one music genre suit a certain

DAW better than the other? well I personally don't see why, because the

basics are the same, maybe the way you are getting there is different, but you

can produce hits with every major DAW and there are hits produced in every

major DAW. does one DAW sound better than another?

well yes but again the differences are so small and there are hits produced in

every major DAW. if it wouldn't suit the job people would use it

3.5mm to XLR Adapter – Comica CVM-DS-XLR 3.5mm to XLR Stereo Adapter Cable for Microphone - Duration: 1:32.

Today I have an accessory I picked up to help with audio recording.

This is the Comica CVM-DS-XLR and it's a 3.5mm to XLR splitter cable with stereo output.

The XLR connectors are heavy duty metal and have markings to identify the left and right

channels.

On the other end is the 3.5mm plug.

And this is ideal to use on things like on this wireless microphone kit when you need

both channels to receive audio.

In this example, I'm using the Comica WM200 wireless mic to show you how this works.

I'm connecting this to a Sony FS7 and if I only had the cable that came with the microphone,

I would only have audio in one channel.

But with this cable, it connects to the output of the receiver and then the two XLR cables

snap into the channel 1 and channel 2 inputs on the FS7.

You can also use this cable on mixers and professional audio recorders with audio sources

such as your phone or even a musical instrument!

So now this is all set up.

I can show you on the viewfinder that I am now getting two channels of audio into the

FS7.

I know that this cable doesn't really need that much explanation but you can see that

it can effectively split audio from a 3.5mm source out to two XLR connectors.

And depending on what equipment you own, this could be a great cable to have in your bag.
