Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint Arabesque

Hello!

Now I'm sitting here with a small bureau

What I have done is that I have

unscrewed the fittings

Then I used a 3D paste

Autentico (Terrapieno)

in order to

putty again these small screw holes

I let it dry and then I sanded it down

What I will do now

is that I

will Paint this piece

it will be a cute, it will be pink

I have chosen the color of Miss Mustard Seed's milk paint

Arabesque

And I have Bonding Agent

in this paint mix

because this piece is painted

and waxed earlier

For not all the paint to flake away

I need to have the binder in the mix

So, what I do now is simply

I paint

two coats

with this pink color

There.

Now this piece is covered

and what I will do now is to soften the surface

so that it becomes that

Milk paint-smooth

and then I'll drill two holes in each

box and put on

really cute little knobs

I have got hold of

I'll apply white wax on this also

When I'm finished grinding I will apply the white wax

and then I drill holes for the knobs

and put them on

I was always drawn to sit and look at the pictures in the Sears catalog

Or whatever of guitars, drums and everything

I just wanted to have that connection with music

I came to Nashville originally I think with the intention to be a guitar player

I can remember using money that I probably should have kept for food and things and bought a pair of monitors

I can remember sitting and listening to those monitors all hours of the night trying to figure out what they were doing in it

I'm Jeff Balding, I'm a producer and engineer based in Nashville, Tennessee

One of the first guys I met at Belmont was Dan Huff

If you know who Dan is, he is an incredible guitar player

And we became buddies early on

To sit in the back of the bus with him and him have his guitar in his hand the whole trip for two or three hours

I'm going "okay, I think I may be not in the deep end on this side of things" You know?

So I think that probably motivated me a little more to the production and engineering side of things

As an engineer you lock in with a producer and an artist

You're going "okay, I get your vision, I get your vision"

And you try to bring them together and at the same time you'll end up kind of putting some extra spices in on it

And you can almost sense it and feel it in the room

You guide it and they feed off your inspiration

It's like one story leading to another

And you get to somewhere really special by the end of it

I love that collaboration side of things

The monitoring is a critical part of that

If they feel comfortable in what they are hearing and they're not guessing

The line you don't want to hear from an artist is

"I'm not sure what these monitors sound like, so I'm going to trust you"

That's not what you want to hear you want them to go "I love that"

Working in different studios especially

All the monitoring can sound totally different depending on where you are

And I can remember looking at studios and being attracted to the studio because of the monitoring

I want to be inspired by the monitors

If you can't hear it, you can't do it

You know exactly where you are going, you go to it and you trust it

1031's were a staple as a monitor for me

I used it on a lot of country records, and have been a key component to even the latest Don Henley record I worked on

I'm a bit standoffish to new monitors

And going "okay, do I really need this in my life because what I have is working"

But the 8351's when I heard them

All of the sudden it's fun to listen and the bottom end

Everything cranking

8351's have an Autocal feature where you can calibrate the speakers to the room

And this was a real attractive feature to me

Because a lot of times when I take monitors into different rooms they obviously sound different

If I wanted to even take it to the house

I know that it's going to be consistent no matter where I take it

And sound the same and customize it to my ear but still know that it's going to be accurate

It's very competitive right now

I mean there's so much noise out there

And it's so easy to blend into the noise

If you're not raising the bar and hitting something bigger

I want to enjoy what I'm hearing and I want to be motivated by it

And I want to be inspired so that I'm reacting to what I'm hearing

Some of the old tube gear back in the day that they couldn't hear the dimension

Now you can put it up and you go

"Oh wow that's amazing the depth the feel of the sound stage that I'm getting there's a difference there"

And it all adds up

Thanks for stopping by.

I'd like to talk to you about what

I'm doing these days with Facebook and

hopefully it'll give you some ideas for

your strategy moving forward. For my

personal brand, I'm now using my Profile.

I used to have a separate Page for my

personal brand - for all the stuff I was

publishing and all of my business

stuff, but decided to simplify things

and cause less confusion by killing that

Page. Now I've shifted everything to

my Profile. If I have confused you,

let me explain.

On Facebook, you have Profiles, which

are meant for individuals. If you're a

user of Facebook, you already have a

Profile. You can have friends and

connections. As a Page, this is where

you would set up something for a

particular brand. A lot of public figures

also have Pages. People can click

Like on your Page. That makes them a

fan. The great advantage

of Pages is they give you all

kinds of statistics. You can

learn about your audience;

their demographics, where they're from,

and when they're most looking at

your Page. I decided to

simplify things and just show more

of my human side on my Profile.

Stuff that my friends and family are

going to be happy to see. I don't want to

bombard them with too much of my

business stuff. That kind of stuff I'm

now putting out more to other

social networks. I've set all of

my updates to be publicly viewable.

You may know that Facebook allows you

quite fine control over your privacy.

I used to only let Friends see my

updates, but now I've decided I'll

just regard that whatever I put on to

Facebook as publicly

viewable and be very

careful what I post. That's the

easiest way to do things. It

gets complicated if you make one

thing just for friends and family,

or one thing for close friends. If

you're posting some kind of wild

pictures from a party (I'm too old to be

doing that anyway) and

then you'd

have to worry about it - just too

complicated. So, I've cleaned out my

Profile's Timeline and it's

now like a public-relations place.

You have to make some

sacrifices sometimes if you want

simplicity. So, that's what I've done. As

for my 3 publishing brands:

HelloYoga.com, TokyoYoga.com,

TribeGrow.com - these all have Pages.

This allows me to learn about the

audiences, as I mentioned earlier. I can

also promote content - pay to

have articles which I published and

shared on the Page via a link. I can

pay to have more people see those.

Facebook's advertising product is superb.

It allows me to target very finely and

make every dollar count. And, I can

reach people worldwide. These are

amazing times we're living in. Now

we have this capability to have

a voice globally. So, those are my

thoughts.

There's a lot more to Facebook, of course,

but those are the main things I'm

using these days. So, share with me in the

Hi everyone it's Lukmi here and welcome to "The Lukmi Show".

I am slowly learning to love my feet.

They are wide and short.

I call them my seal flippers.

The worst thing about having wide feet is looking for shoes at shops.

It's so stressful finding the right ones.

I usually find skateboarding shoes okay - not all,

but currently my favourite brand is Etnies.

I would really love a pair of nice black dress shoes

but it's really hard to find some that suit my feet

especially in the designs that they have now,

the really long and pointy.

Ohhh so nice but I can't wear them.

Feet, feet, feet, feet, feet, feet, feet.

I usually do buy the larger size but it's not like one size larger.

It's like a few sizes larger and that means there's a lot of extra space

and I always trip over.

I usually walk around in flip flops because it's more comfortable for me

and I would wear shoes more often if they fit me perfectly.

Once when I was on the train I overheard these girls talking about me.

They were saying that they pitied me because of my feet.

Going to shoe shops is also really stressful and not an experienceI l like to do.

Once I went into a shoe shop and the shopkeer told me

that the reason why I had feet was because my mum didn't put shoes on me when I was younger.

Hasn't she ever heard of genetics?

I hate standardised feet sizes.

I wish in the future there's more affordable customisation options

where you just put your foot on a machine

and then you pick what style of shoe you want

and then a thing scans your foot and then makes the shoe for you.

Dear friend!! Today I would like to tell you important information about fasting. Fasting it's the oldest and the cheapest method of recovery.

Fasting have been successfully used by all living beings on our planet Earth and it's inherent in us genetically.

In order to avoid negative results from fasting we need to follow a simple but very important rules. Lets talk about how to do it right . Fasting consist of 3 stages total of 5 days. FIRST- Pre-fasting stage. In which you prepare your body for the fast.

( days 1 and 2) SECOND-fasting day( day3 ) THIRD STAGE- recovery from fast (day4,5 )

On DAY ONE you consume 30% less of your regular dietary intake but drinking plenty of water.

On DAY TWO you consume 50% less of your regular dietary intake and continue drinking plenty of water.

On DAY THREE you fast, but drinking plenty of water. To people who is new at fasting and find it very difficult not to eat any solids it's acceptable to be consuming raw vegetables and drinking water.

On DAY FOUR you going back to 50% of your daily dietary intake( same as day 2) and drinking plenty of water

On DAY FIVE you going back to 30% less of your regular dietary intake (same as day one) with drinking plenty of water

It's important to avoid eating any meats during entire 5 days of fasting, substitute it with fresh fruits and vegetables. This method is very beneficial for man and women after age of 40.

. Make sure to follow the rules and you will notice only positive effect on you health. Before you start always consult with your health care provider to make sure this method is suitable for you.

Hi, everyone.

My name is Jacob Balazer, and this is an introduction to Logarist video color correction.

If you've ever used Adobe Lightroom to process raw photos,

you know how easy it is to make simple color corrections.

Exposure compensation, contrast adjustment,

and white balance adjustment are usually all you need.

These adjustments can be applied to the entire image like in this example,

or to specific areas or color ranges.

How does Lightroom enable these types of corrections?

It's not because the images were shot in raw.

Lightroom makes these corrections possible because it knows how to transform your camera's image

into a color space optimized for color correction.

And that's what Logarist does for video.

Logarist transforms your camera's video into a color space

optimized for exposure compensation, white balance correction, and contrast adjustment.

Logarist supports multiple camera color spaces,

and works in DaVinci Resolve, Vegas Pro, and Final Cut Pro X.

In this video I will show you how to use Logarist in all three of these applications.

What is a color space, and why do they matter for color correction?

A Color space is a way of representing colors using numbers.

The numbers are called color values.

Typically we use three numbers to represent one color.

There are many different color spaces.

They have names like sRGB, S-Log, and Canon Log.

Each one uses different numbers to represent the same colors.

You can transform between color spaces.

This changes the numbers, not the colors.

When a color space transformation is performed correctly, the colors do not change,

at least within the limits of the color space. Only the numbers change.

When you manipulate the color values of an image, what happens to the colors?

That depends on which color space you're working in.

Logarist uses look-up tables, or LUTs, to transform between color spaces.

Logarist LUTs are always used in pairs.

The first LUT transforms from your camera's color space into the Logarist color space.

The second LUT transforms into the display color space.

Color correction is performed in the Logarist color space, between the two LUTs.

Now I'll show you how to use Logarist in DaVinci Resolve.

First, open Project Settings.

In Master Project Settings, set Color science to DaVinci YRGB.

Then in Color, uncheck "Use legacy log grading" and "Use S-curve for Contrast".

Right click the video clip, click Clip Attributes…, and set Data Levels to Video.

Right click the video clip, go to 3D LUT, and find the camera-to-Logarist LUT

that corresponds to your camera's color space.

This file was recorded in the Sony Cine1 color space.

Next, switch to the Color workspace.

You can put all of your corrections in a single node, but for the sake of illustration

I'm going to put each one in a separate node.

Right click on the last corrector node,

go to 3D LUT,

and choose a Logarist-to-BT.709 LUT.

Most of the time I use LumaComp 0.66, which extends the highlight range by 2/3 of a stop.

Next I'll do exposure compensation in the first node.

Set the color wheels to Log mode,

and drag the offset master wheel right or left to lighten or darken the image.

This shot was overexposed by about half a stop.

Here's it is before and after adjustment.

Now with the second node selected, to adjust the contrast, first set the pivot to 0.5,

and then adjust the contrast.

I've added just a small amount of contrast here.

You can also use curves to make more complicated contrast adjustments.

Now in the third node, to correct the white balance, drag the offset color wheel.

This shot has a bit too much yellow, so I'm going to drag the wheel towards blue.

This control is very sensitive, so use a light touch.

Here is the shot before the adjustment, and after.

You can also use Resolve's log Shadow and Highlight adjustments

in the Logarist color space.

Next up, Logarist in Vegas Pro.

Open Project Properties,

set the Pixel format to 32-bit floating point (full range),

Compositing gamma to Video,

and the View transform to Off.

Click the Event FX button.

In the 32-bit floating point folder, double click to add a VisionColor LUT Plugin,

Brightness and Contrast, Channel Blend,

and then another VisionColor LUT Plugin, and click OK.

In the first VisionColor LUT Plugin effect, load the appropriate camera-to-Logarist LUT,

in this case, for Sony Cine1.

Click the second VisionColor LUT Plugin effect, and load a Logarist-to-BT.709 LUT.

I usually use LumaComp 0.66.

To compensate for the exposure, in the Brightness and Contrast effect,

drag the Brightness slider left or right.

Hold down the Ctrl key to make fine adjustments.

This shot is overexposed by half a stop.

Here's the shot before and after adjustment.

To adjust the contrast, drag the contrast slider.

Hold down the Ctrl key to make fine adjustments.

Here's the effect of exposure and contrast adjustment on this shot.

To correct the white balance, in the Channel Blend effect,

adjust the red, green, and blue channel offsets in the last column.

Hold down the Ctrl key, click between the two arrows, and drag up or down.

Here's the shot with and without white balance correction.

And here's a comparison of the video straight from the camera,

and with color correction in Logarist.

At this point you may wish to save the plug-in chain in a filter package

so it can be applied quickly to more video events.

The saved plug-in chain can be found in the Filter Packages folder.

And now, Logarist in Final Cut Pro X.

Select your clip in the timeline,

and then open the Effects Browser and the Inspector.

Add an mLut Plugin effect to your clip,

then a Color Correction effect,

and then another mLut Plugin effect.

Expand the first mLut effect, and uncheck HUE/SATURATION.

Click Load Custom LUT,

browse to a camera-to-Logarist LUT file, and select it.

This clip uses the Sony Cine1 color space.

Note whether the filename ends in [Highlights 1.1], like this one does.

If it does, the information will need to be entered after loading the LUT.

Since this LUT's filename has [Highlights 1.1], click the Highlights value,

type 1.1 on the keyboard, and press Return.

Now in the second mLut effect,

uncheck HUE/SATURATION,

and click Load Custom LUT.

Browse to a Logarist-to-BT.709 LUT file, select it, and click Load.

Now, open the Color Correction effect's Color Board, and click Exposure.

Use the Global Exposure setting to perform exposure compensation.

Click the value and use the up and down arrow keys to make fine adjustments.

To perform white balance correction, click Color.

This clip has a noticeable greenish yellow tint.

So first set the global hue angle to greenish yellow.

Then click the global percentage value,

and use the down arrow key to remove a couple of percentage points.

If you need to make even finer adjustments,

I've outlined a way to do it on the Logarist web site.

You can toggle the Color Correction effect off and on

to see the effects of the color correction.

To adjust contrast, drag the contrast slider in the second mLut effect.

Pickled Hot Peppers - Duration: 2:16.

Hi there!

Nicole here with Best Easy Recipe.

Looking for something hot and spicy?

I'm going to show you how to make some fresh, picked hot peppers and these came straight

out of my garden.

Stay tuned for just a few minutes and I'll show you exactly how you can make these in

your own home!

Let's get to chopping! We've got some work to do.

In a large pot, add 3 C of white vinegar.

Next, add 2 C of water.

Add 1 ½ tsp of crushed red pepper. Add 2 tsp of mustard seeds.

Add 2 tsp of tabasco sauce. Add 2 Tbsp of salt.

Now you'll just stir everything together to let it dissolve and heat it up to almost

a boil. Once it reaches that point, turn off the heat

and let it cool to room temperature. While our mixture is heating up, we'll get

our mason jars ready to go. So we've got 6 jalapenos, 6 anaheim peppers,

and 3 banana peppers that have been sliced into rings.

We left the seeds in because we want these peppers to be hot.

You'll just carefully place them in any order into the mason jars.

I did a row of anaheim, banana, then jalapenos and just repeated that until I filled it up,

but you can toss them all in there, whatever you want!

We've also got 2 cloves of minced garlic as well that you'll divide into the jars.

So now our pickling mixture has cooled to room temperature so all you have to do is

ladle it carefully into each jar. Don't forget all the goodies.. The mustard seeds,

crushed red, the garlic. Make sure that's in the jar as well.

So then all you have to do is pop those lids onto them, place them in the refrigerator

for 1 week and after a week is up, your hot peppers will be ready to go to use for sandwiches

and whatever you'd like! They are delicious.
