Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp tipped to spend big again - Duration: 3:41.

That's according to former Premier League star Andy Cole who says the German chief will get his cheque book out again the summer

The Reds are currently four points clear of champions Manchester City with 15 games left

They snapped up Fabinho, Naby Keita, Alisson and Xherdan Shaqiri just a few months ago at huge expense

But Cole is adamant that Klopp will remain active in the transfer market regardless of who wins the title

Cole told Sky Sports: "They'll go again in the summer, Liverpool will, because it doesn't matter if you win the league because you've still got to try and better yourself

"You've got to try and bring in players better than what you already have to strengthen for the next season because if Manchester City win the league or Liverpool win the league, guarantee one of them is going to turn around and say, 'We need to add players because we lost the league or this and that

' "That's how competition gets better and that's how those players become better players

"They will go again, they definitely will go again." Liverpool haven't made any acquisitions this month as Klopp keeps the faith with his key men

Retired full-back Stephen Warnock says the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss is boxing clever despite injuries at the back

He said: "I think the position you're looking at is right-back. "With Trent Alexander-Arnold being out, Joe Gomez being injured at this moment in time, James Milner suspended

"I fully expect if Gini Wijnaldum is back fit for the next game, I expect him to go into centre midfield and Fabinho to drop into that right-back position

"So Liverpool's problem is short-term so for them to dip into the market and go and sign a player now, I don't think they really need to

" Liverpool face Leicester in the Premier League tonight. Foxes boss Claude Puel has been feeling the heat in recent weeks

Klopp says he expects Leicester to raise their game against his high-flying side

"I think Claude Puel said everything about it, they like playing against the top sides," said Klopp

"They are not that much a counter-attacking side as they have been in the past but of course they are a massive threat

"We have all had these situations. "If you play against teams and they don't give you a lot of space, it is not too comfortable

A lot of teams struggle with that. "We expect a very dangerous opponent. "They have quality, if we go through the team it is a super team

"

Travelling in Winter (Tips + Bonus) - Duration: 2:52.

[Music]

This winter in Belarus is extremely cold and very snowy.

However, it can't be an excuse for not travelling. All we have to do is get ready in advance.

In winter our bodies need a lot more energy.

That's why I'm not going to skip my breakfast today and it'll be a substantial one.

Personally, I don't like carrying snacks around unless I go hiking; but some hot tea in a thermos flask is a must.

Not only do our bodies need more energy in cold,

devices should be charged properly as well.

And I also wouldn't set off without a good power bank.

Today I'm going to spend a lot of time outside and a set of winter underwear will definitely make me feel

comfortable.

When I normally go outside in the winter, I try not to forget my woolen socks,

but today I'm going to put on something special.

As it's about zero today, a pair of rubber boots with woolen inserts will save my feet in both water and snow.

An important lesson I've learned from blogging is that men should also take care of their looks.

Anyway, putting on some face and hand cream will totally change the game today.

Almost ready! With my scarf, gloves and winter hat on I'm sure that the day outside will be just amazing!

So, let's go!

[Music]

As a bonus I'd like to share with you a rather unusual idea which I've heard from some visitors from Siberia.

Although they were used to extreme temperatures, some really underestimated Belarusian winter.

The point is that our minus 5 or minus 10 feel a lot colder because of humidity and strong winds.

So, please be careful!

[英文學習] 如何擺脫口音與增加動力 How I got over Japanese accent/ What is my motivation of learning English -Yutaro - Duration: 4:03.

Hello everyone I am Yutaro Takasaki from Japan and today what I want to share with you is how I got over

my Japanese accent and the motivation why I learn English now let's get

started with how I got over my Japanese accent you know most of the Japanese

people when they speak in English they have strong English accents but many

people say I don't have Japanese accent that much the reason why I don't have a

strong Japanese accent is I personally think since when I was in junior high

school I was trying to pronounce English as English native speakers what's more I

like imitating others whatever language I use so I think imitating others helps

you to learn other languages basically whatever language I speak I like making

others laugh I think that's the reason why I started imitating others

when I was in elementary school I imitated Japanese comedian and in junior

high school I started imitating my teachers and after I studied a while in

English I think that ability which I used for

imitating other people helped my English a lot second the motivation on why I learn

English but basically I like making others laugh so if you can speak more

than one language you can make more people laugh that's a motivation for me

to learn English here two tips for me when you study English

first of all English is not your native language so don't be afraid of making

any mistake if someone laughs you because of your wrong English doesn't

matter you can make them laugh so it's okay for me the language is just a tool

so if you cannot say exact words in English don's mind about them just try to

make them understand you when I was in Canada I was going out with my American

baseball team mate I couldn't say how to say one expression in English so what I

did was speaking Japanese to him but I said it a lot in a lot of voice of course

he couldn't understand it but he understood

something and we got close so never mind about your language ability

that would be better and better and the second tip is try to imitate

native speakers non-native speakers whatever that will help you that's

how I improve my English thank you

Johnny Hatton - Rockabilly Slap Bass - Duration: 1:25.

Hi, everybody, I'm Johnny Hatton, the bass player for the Brian Setzer Orchestra for

about 300 years now.

So, there's two parts to the rockabilly, the swing feel.

The snap, which gives you the note, and then the slap, which gives you some rhythm.

It's like a kind of a four beat division.

The pickup's important in rockabilly, in bluegrass.

There is a pickup right there, and that's the one that gets, we call it the click.

I call this the neck knock.

And so on.

A part of the bass, rockabilly bass scene, is doing tricks on the bass.

I like to stick it out over here.

It's hard to do on carpet.

That's what I'm on right now.

Don't try this at home.

How to Make Snow Cone Dog Treats (feat. Husky & Rough Collie) - Duration: 4:44.

Hey guys, welcome back to our channel.

The polar vortex is almost here, and we've been hit with a little bit of snow,

so we thought today would be a good chance for us to show you how to make snow cones for dogs.

If you're new here, make sure to subscribe to our channel and hit that notification bell.

Our channel is all about our two dogs, Harry the Siberian husky and Jasper the rough collie.

To make the all-natural syrup, you'll need the following: beet juice from either canned

or fresh beets, pumpkin puree without sugar added, and low sodium chicken stock.

Here are the tools you'll need: a small pot, a whisk, an ice cream scoop, spoon and fork,

containers for the syrup, and two small cups.

Turn the stove on medium low.

Carefully pour the beet juice in the pot and mix with chicken stock.

You can also use low sodium beef or vegetable broth.

Mix together with your whisk.

We don't need the syrup to be hot, so turn off the heat and transfer over to the container

once it's mixed.

Now do the same with the pumpkin puree.

Add the pumpkin puree to the heated pot and mix with the chicken stock.

Transfer over to the container once it's been mixed.

Another option is to use sweet potato or squash puree.

Just be sure that there's no added sugar.

Move the container to the fridge to cool, or if it's snowing outside,

you can leave it outside for 10 minutes.

No, guys.

Hey.

Okay, next...

Jasper.

Not yet.

Alright, so we've got these cups for them to put the shaved ice or snow in,

so I'm just gonna take some snow here with my ice cream scoop.

If you guys don't have snow in your area, of course you can just use shaved ice.

This is a fun little idea that we came up with when we heard that it was gonna snow.

So just wanna make sure you pack it in.

This snow is actually really powdery.

So you just wanna top up your containers with snow, and next we'll put the coloring on.

Alright, so we're gonna go ahead and put the coloring on, so we'll do the beet one first.

Okay, guys.

Okay.

Okay.

No, Jasper.

Okay, so we'll just first pour the red here.

Okay, so here's one.

Wait.

Wait.

Wait, Jasper, wait.

No.

Okay.

And next we'll add the pumpkin puree coloring.

Not yet, not yet.

Alright.

These gloves are dirty now.

Okay.

Alright, so let's see what they think.

Jasper!

Harry!

Which one do you guys want?

Here, you each get your own.

We added a little bit more coloring, because the snow was too compact and it ran out of flavor,

and Harry started to lick what was on the ground instead, so we just added a little more.

Now we're gonna switch up the flavor on you guys.

Okay, ready?

Nom nom nom.

Okay, I think maybe it's not a good idea to make it so compact, because they're having

a hard time eating it.

Jasper's cup is the one that's super compact.

So what did you guys think of this snow cone for dogs?

Let us know in the comments down below, be sure to subscribe to our channel,

and if you wanna see more videos of Harry and Jasper, click here and click here.

Okay, thanks for watching.

We'll see you next time!

Bye!

Harry, say bye!

Bye!

Part 1: How to Make the Business Case for Employee Engagement? - Duration: 9:03.

Thank you for joining me

Because you are here

I imagine you're curious to know more about

how to make the business case

for investing in increasing employee engagement

for your team or organisation.

Perhaps you are wondering what conditions really make the difference

to producing sustainable employee engagement?

Would you like to know

whether the bottom line benefits

of investing in this change initiative

for your organisation are really worth it?

What could the level of return on investment be?

How much worse off you will be if you do nothing?

Now, I really appreciate

your desire to develop your understanding,

and while I can't talk to the details of your unique situation

I will try to give you a simple approach

to help you find the answers that you are looking for.

I have split the video into 2 parts

In this first one I will be sharing with you

the 10 Key Conditions necessary

for sustainable employee engagement to flourish.

Then in Part 2 we will be looking at

how to use a simple framework

built on these 10 Key conditions

to put together the business case

for investing in developing employee engagement

for your team or organisation.

Please leave me a comment

or send me an email

if you would like me to help you think about

your own unique situation

I would be happy to do what I can

to help you get moving in the right direction.

So, let's get started

Firstly, what is Employee Engagement?

Well, Employee Engagement is a state of

heightened emotional commitment and energy

we give to and get from our work.

It comes about through

our emotional relationship with

the value of what we do,

who we do it with and who we do it for.

Actively Engaged employees are

more productive, innovative and fulfilled

And they are much less likely

to want to look for work elsewhere

which has a big benefit on reducing

the costs and risks associated with staff turnover.

Please check out my video "What is Employee Engagement"

if you would like to refresh your understanding

of what this is all about.

Now, it is amazing that the business benefits

of having a fully engaged workforce

have been thoroughly researched

and validated since the 1990s

However, just do a Google search for "employee engagement"

and you'll find thousands of

blogs, articles and research reports

broadcasting the persistently high percentage

of employees that are either disengaged or not actively engaged,

and that the price tag

to businesses and the wider economy of this lack of engagement

runs into hundreds of billions of dollars.

Nonetheless it is true

that more and more forward thinking companies,

fighting for their competitive edge

are successfully pushing the envelope

by creating big shifts in how they operate,

including major re-engineering in the nature

of their relationship with their workforce.

Now, I'm not going to regurgitate right now,

all the stats that you can readily find online

from Gallup, Towers Watson and many research experts,

but if you would like to dig into the data a little deeper,

I've given you some links

In the description below to a few useful sources.

Instead, what I would like to do

is give you some simple steps

to help you think about

how to build a business case for investing in

Employee Engagement for your organisation.

To do this you need to have a clear picture

of what changes you would need to make to:

recruitment, work processes, your workplace environment,

leadership behaviour, management practices, support processes and technology

to be able to deliver the right conditions

in which engagement is most likely to flourish.

To help build that picture,

think about your own personal experience.

Engagement is not a permanent condition.

It is very dependent on

your own mental, emotional and physical state

and what you are doing

and who you are doing it with.

All of which are conditions

that can fluctuate from day to day.

However, what will help you to bounce back

into an actively engaged state,

if for whatever reason you are having an off day,

is how you experience and feel supported by

the relationships and conditions in your workplace

and the degree that your work is a natural extension of

and channel for expressing your best self.

So let's first look at what conditions

need to be in place

to give you the best chance

of bumping up your engagement level.

These are the 10 key components of the engagement mix

that in my experience are

necessary preconditions for developing

sustainably higher levels of employee engagement.

As we go through the list

think about how each item

applies to you personally,

to what degree does this describe your relationship

with your work and workplace environment?

and to what degree

does it exist in your workplace, right now?

So - You are more likely to become actively engaged when:

1. You feel your work adds value to the world

and is recognised by others in a way that fits

with your own sense of your own identity.

Your work gives you a sense of Meaning and Purpose.

2. You are given the control,

the flexibility, autonomy and the resources

to do your job in the best way you know how.

3. You can get in a good flow with your work

without unwanted distractions, ambiguities and unrealistic workloads.

4. Your work stimulates and stretches you,

you feel good about how it gives you opportunities

to grow both personally and professionally.

5. Your supervisor demonstrably cares about your personal well-being

and is supportive, empathetic and appreciative.

6. You feel that you are a member of a team or community

connected to, recognised and valued by

your boss, your co-workers and your customers.

7. The work you do is a good fit

for your natural talents, experience,

personality type, values and goals.

8. The organisation you work for

has core values and a purpose

which you feel good about.

9. You feel trusted, held accountable

and rewarded appropriately

by the organisation you work for

10. You have a healthy work-life balance,

the demands of your job leave you enough time and energy

to devote to your life outside of work.

So there you have it:

The 10 Key Conditions

necessary to help increase Employee Engagement

levels across your organisation.

Please feel free to copy paste this list for your own use

you will find it in the description below.

Now, I think you will agree that there is a lot

that organisational leaders can do

to nurture the conditions that promote engagement.

But to achieve this takes a lot of careful thought

and coordination to make effective changes

to behaviours, processes and feasibly technology,

to give you the best chance of success.

If you want to start building your case

for making those changes

and investing in developing Employee Engagement

to produce a more effective,

fulfilling and profitable operation.

Just click here to continue with In Part 2 of this video

where I am going to share with you

a simple framework approach that can help get you started.

At the Port of Long Beach at Pier B,

you'll see a vast field of Toyotas.

Thousands of cars and trucks

that will be hauled to dealerships

all over the southwest.

But what may surprise you is that each one of these vehicles will be

customized right here before leaving the board from installing alloy wheels to

adding bumper protectors roof racks are special alarm systems it's all done here

in one of Toyota logistics production shops the process starts when a ship

first arrives and begins unloading the vehicles from the multi-level parking

lot that is inside the roll-on/roll-off vessel or RORO as its call first

introduced in the 1980s row rows have specially designed ramps that double as

a watertight door when closed divide it into sections once the vessel is

securely anchored the ramp is lowered creating a strong and safe roadway for

the cars to be unloaded the unloading process really starts with what we call

our lasher's it's a small group that actually goes onto the vessel before

larger team gets on and what they do is they are unlatching all the vehicles

from the boat so each vehicle when it's loaded is actually latched on the front

and the rear to make sure that it's no movement during transit once the last

rows go on and if unstrapped all of the vehicles then our unload crew will

actually go on to the vessel and then start discharging all the vehicles my

first time here I was very impressed by the operations it is a choreographed

chaos between the amount of people and vehicle movement within this yard as

those vessels come in and the vehicles are discharged it is a consistent flow

of vehicles throughout the yard this synchronized dance happens every week as

drivers quickly offload on average 3,000 vehicles in less than a day after an

initial inspection is done to make sure the vehicle isn't damaged it will be

taken to one of the various production shops where Toyota team members will

install largely by hand range of options each vehicle will spend

between two to six days on site depending on the work required by adding

these finishing touches here instead of at the factory local dealers and

customers get exactly what they want nearly every Toyota Lexus and Scion

built in Japan and destined for sale in the southwest passes through this

facility and with over 200,000 vehicles customized here each year Toyota

logistics is one busy place
