That that would make an interesting video idea.

So I figured before we crushed the crystal ball.

Let's try to start a fire.

Alright here it goes.

Let's see where is the Sun at.

Whoa yeah that's hot.

I guess it may start a fire if we get it just right.

I mean it's pretty bright.

I can't even look at it.

That takes a little bit too much coordination.

Alright so as you can see.

Don't use a glass ball to start a fire.

Use a magnifying glass.

And before we actually crush the crystal ball.

I just want to tell you really fast.

Why were doing this Crush over again.

Because the biggest complaint that we had from the viewers.

Was that it just happened too fast.

This time we're going to be using.

The v2512 Phantom Ultra high-speed camera.

Brand new camera from Vision research.

This is the worlds slowest slow motion camera in HD.

So we're going to refilm this.

And 30000 frames per Second.

In HD.

That's all I got to say.

Before we put our 80 millimeter glass ball.

In the hydraulic press.

We have to wipe off all this glass dust.

While we do a smoke ceremony.

For the glass ball that we're about to crush.

Alright so we got our 80 millimeter crystal ball.

Set in place.

Perfectly centered.

And we're going to do this right now.

At about 30,000 frames per second.

4K slow motion 1200 frames per second.

Ultra slow-motion 30000 frames per second.

So that was are 80 millimeter ball.

And I'm thinking that our hydraulic press.

Might be getting messed up.

Because.

That one took about 20 I don't know.

About 18 tons.

I really didn't see the gauge.

We're going to get the gauge on the next one.

But now it's stuck.

At like 5 or 6 tons.

And the Piston came out a bit.

That's really sit and see if it releases.

This is kind of how we messed up.

Our other hydraulic press.

Yeah this is going back.

And as you just saw.

Our plate flew on the ground somewhere.

Oh yeah it's right here look.

Our plate flew there.

And there's a lot of glass dust.

So that being said.

The next shot that you're going to see.

We're going to do something really interesting.

I don't know where are polarizing filters are.

But we're going to take this glass ball.

And we're going to get some polarized light.

Going through it.

And then we have another polarizer on the camera.

And what that's supposed to do.

I haven't actually done it yet.

It's supposed to show you the stress in the glass.

So we'll see if it really works.

If it doesn't work.

Who cares.

We're going to shoot this at a higher frame rate and it's going to look cool anyway.

Jesus Christ.

So it looks like the polarizing idea.

The double polarizers didn't work in this case.

Because.

For one we have a lot of stray light coming in.

From the sides.

And I think that's affecting the way it's all working.

And two.

We're going to need a big polarizer.

To polarize a light that's coming in to the ball.

Three.

I think we can make it work.

But we would have to mount this glass ball into a polarizing tube.

So the only light entering is polarized light.

And the only light exiting the tube will be polarized light.

Therefore showing the stress in the glass.

That's not going to happen right now.

How to Install the Genesis Framework and Child Theme - Duration: 8:53.

Hello folks, Jose here for another video tutorial for WPBasics.org.

In today's tutorial, I will show you how to install the Genesis framework and a child theme.

I will also provide a brief overview of the Genesis features.

If you want more information about Genesis and reasons that you should use the Framework,

Well enough with the introduction.

Let's get started.

Step 1 The first thing that you'll need to do is

to purchase the Genesis framework.

The Genesis framework comes with a "Sample Theme".

We will be using the sample theme for this tutorial.

Once you have purchased Genesis, go to the studiopress.com and click on "My StudioPress"

on the top right hand corner of the page.

This will take you to a login page.

Go ahead and login.

Your login credentials would have been emailed to you upon the purchase of the Framework.

The download page that you have may look a little different than mine, depending on what

themes you have purchased.

For this tutorial, all we need is the Framework and the Sample theme.

Scroll down and locate the Genesis Framework.

Go ahead and download the Genesis Framework by clicking on the blue download button.

We will also need the Genesis Sample theme.

Go ahead and download it as well by clicking on the blue download button.

Step 2 Now that we have the Genesis Framework and

the Sample themes downloaded, lets head over to our web browser and checkout out current

install of WordPress.

My test site current has the 2017 theme, which comes as the default

theme with WordPress.

In order to install the framework we need to go to our dashboard and click on Appearance

and then on Themes.

Now go ahead and do the following; Click on the Add New button that is located

on the top left of your screen.

You will be presented with a new screen.

On this new screen, go ahead and click on Upload Theme.

The next thing that you need to do is to click on the Choose File button

A new screen will popup.

Go ahead and locate where you want to downloaded the framework and then click on Open and then

on Install Now.

A COUPLE OF IMPORTANT NOTES: You should always intstall the Genesis Framework

before your child theme as the child theme will not work with out the Framework.

You do not need to activate the Framework as the child theme will be activated.

Once the Framework has been succesfully installed, go ahead and click on Return to the Themes

page link and repeat the above steps.

Only this time install the Sample theme.

The Genesis Sample theme or whatever child theme you have chosen should be Activated.

Step 3 Let's go to our web page and refresh the screen

to see what we have so far.

You will notice that widgets that were previously in the sidebar are now gone.

No need to panic.

This is normal.

Go ahead and navigate to Appearance/Widgets.

Whenever you install a new Genesis child theme, all of the widgets that you were previously

using will be de-activated and placed in the Inactive Widgets

section of your Dashboard/Appearance/Widgets.

Go ahead and place the inactive widgets where you want them.

Now go ahead and go back to your webpage and refresh to see what we have.

Success!!

You now have a WebPage with the Genesis Framework and child theme.

Step 4 Overview.

Now that you have installed Genesis and a child theme installed, lets go back to our

dashboard and go over some of the features of Genesis.

When you click on the Genesis link on your dashboard you will see an option to have Genesis

check for updates and email you a reminder.

I highly recomend that you enter your email address here

so that you are always aware when a new version of the framework has been released.

Once you receive your update notification, you can then chose to update it or not.

Below this section you will see a place where you can enter your Feedblitz or Feedburner

RSS feeds.

Enter the URL's here if you have them.

Don't worry if you don't have them.

They are not required.

Next we have a place where we can choose the site layout for our site.

You can play around with these options and see which one you like best.

Most blogs use the first option which is a content section on the left

and a sidebar on the right.

But it is really up to you.

You also have a section where you can decide where you want to show breadcrumbs.

Just click on the checkbox next to the page where you want the breadcrumbs to show.

I will chose Homepage, posts, pages and archives.

Below this section, you can chose to enable comments and track backs.

I will enable comments and trackbacks for posts and pages.

In the Content Archives Section, you can chose to display your entire post or just an excerpt.

You can decide if you want the featured image to show and the type of pagination.

I usually like Numberic.

In the Blog Page Template section, you can decide which categories will show as well

as which ones will be excluded.

You can Also set the number of posts per page.

Finally we have the Header and Footer Scripts section.

Here you can enter different types of scripts, such as the Google verification script.

Well, you are now ready to move forward and create your masterpiece with the Genesis Framwork.

Welcome back to DIY No Need To Cry with Ivelisse

DIY Heart Wine Stopper With Lot's Of Bling!

All the materials that I used for this diy are listed in the description box below.

I first took two water balloons and filled them up with air.

I didn't fill them to much.

You don't want them to pop and you also want them to be flexible to manipulate into

the shape you want.

Using first aid tape, I taped the balloons together and continued to tape it into the

heart shape I wanted.

I was having trouble shaping the bottom of the heart so I used painters tape to shape

that part.

I cut the excess and cut it into the shape I wanted.

I then continued with the first aid tape.

I covered the whole thing until it was the shape of a heart and the balloons where pretty

much covered.

Using Mod Podge and a clean dry brush, I put glue all over the heart and started covering

it with white napkin paper.

I gave it a few layers but it took long to dry so maybe do two at a time.. set it aside

to dry and keep doing this until it's hard.

Once it's completely dry and firm, cut the very tip of the heart off.

This is where the wine stopper will go in to.

I cut it and then with the x-acto knife, I prided it open enough to then slip the back

of a paint brush in.

The idea is to slowly and gently make the whole big enough to fit the wine stopper all

the way down.

The balloons inside might or might not be deflated at this point.

If you want you can pop them or leave them.

Mine were somewhat deflated so I just left them.

I used some cotton from some old animal slippers I had and stuffed the heart using the back

of a paint brush.

Next, using a pouncer brush and red acrylic paint.

I painted the whole heart and set that aside to dry.

Using a glue gun, I put glue in the whole and some on the tip of the stopper.

I then inserted the stopper all the way and held it tight until it dried.

And finally, using Mod Podge and a brush, I glued on all the rhinestones.

I did it in sections, letting it dry between each one and your done!

U.S. business leaders express concerns to Trump about travel ban

Chief executives of major U.S. companies huddled with President Donald Trump at the White House

on Friday and some of them expressed concern about a travel ban on people from seven Muslim-majority

countries traveling to the United States.

Business leaders said afterward that the group, which included Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase

& Co and Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo Inc, discussed bank rules, tax reform, and objections to

Trump's week-old ban.

Some companies are worried that the travel restrictions will impact their employees or

create uncertainty that could rattle markets.

Tech companies also have broader concerns about Trump's immigration policies because

of the number of foreign workers they employ in the United States.

The U.S. business community has been divided in their approach on taxes and immigration,

and some leaders are wary of working with a president who uses his platform to attack

companies that vex him, such as threatening penalties for manufacturing outside the United

States.

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly delivered an update to the corporate leaders on the

travel restrictions, which caused chaos at major U.S. airports and are now facing court

challenges.

"There was obviously concern by different people and explanations and that issue had

to be covered and was covered," Blackstone Group Chief Executive Stephen Schwarzman,

who leads the advisory group, said on Fox Business.

Participants including Elon Musk of Tesla Inc had said before the meeting that they

would raise concerns with Trump about the travel crackdown.

The meeting, which also included Mary Barra of General Motors Co and Jim McNerney, formerly

of Boeing Co, convened a business advisory panel that Trump announced in December.

Uber CEO Travis Kalanick quit the group under pressure from activists over the order.

Musk defended his own decision to participate on Friday, saying that going to the meeting

did not mean he agreed with Trump's actions.

The White House said in a statement on Thursday evening that did not mention Uber that Trump

"understands the importance of an open dialogue with fellow business leaders to discuss how

to best make our nation's economy stronger."

Executives from Ford Motor Co also criticized the ban, but others, including General Motors

and JPMorgan Chase have not taken a position.

SPLIT ON TAX REFORM

Trump has also met with executives from the U.S. pharmaceutical and auto industries as

part of a push to step up U.S. job creation.

Division in the corporate world is also developing over taxes.

Boeing Co and General Electric Co on Thursday joined a group in support of a congressional

plan to tax all imports.

But that plan, which does not have universal support among Republicans, is opposed by many

U.S. retailers, which say it could raise prices for consumers.

"If you're a big U.S. manufacturer and exporter, you love it.

And if you're a retailer bringing a lot of your stuff in, it has ramifications for you,"

Jack Welch, the former GE chief executive, said on Fox Business after the meeting.

"It's not a simple issue."

Republican leaders say tax reform is a top priority, but they have acknowledged it could

take until the end of 2017 or longer to finish legislation.

"If I were a company, I'd be worried about tax reform," said Bernie Williams, chief investment

officer at USAA Investment Solutions, in San Antonio.

The White House meeting with the group is also set to cover trade, regulatory relief

and infrastructure.
