How to Make a Launchpad Cover (Part 5 - Final?): Multi-Sampling, Multi-Lights, & Random MIDI Effect - Duration: 10:01.
hello everybody my name is InspirAspir
and welcome back to part 5 of my launch
pad cover tutorial series in this video
we'll go over how to multi sample which
is assigning multiple sounds and samples
to a single button and we'll also go
over what exactly this random midi
effect does, now I don't imagine this
will take too much time
so let's go ahead and jump right into
it and get it done. To start, let's
pretend we want to we want to assign
multiple sounds to a single button so
maybe this button on the launchpad
and I'm going to be in page one and I
want this button so to do that it's
actually a lot easier than you would
think i would first go to my page one
and then i would go to the button that I
want. So I'm on page one, I'm pressing the
button that I want, and you can see down
here is that this button is lighting up.
Meaning this is the corresponding button
so i want to assign my samples to so now
i'm going to go to the top left of
Ableton, and click under instruments
and then drag in a new instrument
rack into that sample button but I chose
what this does is it creates an entire
rack of potential samples that we can
drop in that can be assigned to just
this button so let's go to my stem that
I covered in Part 2 and let's find some
sounds I want to have time to that
button so i have this layer of base
let's say for example of our players you
might not be able to hear much but I
promise that sounds coming through i can
hear it right now in my headphones
let's say that I want this sound
to play on this button so it's kind of
like I would any other sound let's say I
also want i don't know for example this
sound to play at the same time all I
would do is cut that up just like I
would for any other samples
maybe I also want to have this sound
this cymbal crash maybe I want that to
play at the same time again I would
split up just like any other sample now
if that's all that I want then I'm gonna
go back to my sample to go back to my
sample tracks and all i'm going to do is
drag in the samples into the instrument
rack i created before and then one thing
I recommend doing is clicking this
button to expand your instrument or
accuracy what samples you have included
and all i'm going to do is drag in all
of the samples now if I play this button
they all play which is nice so now
that's one really easy basic way to get
a bunch of sounds on one button but now
i'm gonna go over what's called multi
sampling which is where you can play
multiple sounds on a single button but
each time you press it a different
sample occurs so let's say I want to do
that on this button i'm actually gonna
use the same exact concept i'm going to
drag in my instrument rack onto the
given button i'm going to expand the
instrument rack and I'm just gonna
dragging whatever samples that I want
let's use these lead samples that i cut
up in part to just for the sake of
demonstration and i'm going to drag
these into my instrument rack right now
if I were to press this button i have a
feeling that sounds very bad because all
my samples are playing at the same time
which I don't want so to fix this i'm
gonna go over to my midi effects and put
in a random midi effect in front of my
instrument rack so I just click and drag
until a blue bar with the left of the
instrument rack and so what this random
many effect is going to let us do it's
going to allow us to cycle through all
of these samples so I'm going to up this
chance to a hundred percent i just
clicked and dragged up and then we want
the number of choices to be however my
samples we have
it looks like we have 16 samples i'm
going to change this number 26 auditors
click and type in the number and then
i'm going to change this mode to alt all
i did was i click that button once and
that will allow us to step through these
one at a time in order next I'm going to
click on my first sample and then click
Ally note and then double click this
green bar that quote unquote a science
this first example to the first touch of
the button then i'm going to press this
button again and you'll notice that
there's red bar moved one semitone to
the right of the green bar the way just
drawn in and that's because this random
the random devices doing its work so
while holding this going to double-click
the second sample and that assignment to
the second touch of the button then i'm
going to press it again notice the red
bar moved and i'm going to double-click
this third samples green bar and then
assigns it to the third touch the button
you can tell it's working when you can
see these green bars they're sort of
slanting down that means that you're
being assigned one after each other now
for us again and repeat the process all
the way down then what happens is each
time i press this button a different
sound will occur now one problem it's
already happening
one thing that just happened that you
might have noticed as these have become
out-of-tune whether pitches on all wonky
because moving these green bars
technically is moving its semitone up by
one think of this first sample as the
base and then every subsequent sample
after that is being moved up one
semitone into the pitch is being shifted
which we don't want in order to maintain
that sound all we do is go to each
sample after the first starting with the
second one
all we do is dragging a pitch mini
effect
onto that sample and we do that for all
of these i'm gonna go ahead and drag a
pitch on to each of these alright so I
just dragged a pitch many effect on to
every sample except for the first the
first doesn't need to be adjusted but
then we need to do is adjust to
counteract the semi tones and in order
to do that you just adjust the pitch of
your second sample down one semitone and
then for your third sample you just
knock that down two semitones and your
for three down three semitones and so on
so I just adjusted all of my sample
starting with my second each subsequent
sample you knocked down one more
semitone and that balancing each other
out so now if i press this button every
time i press this button a different
sound occurs and every sample is in tune
and in theory they don't have to all be
for example I use my lead kind of
violence since as an example you don't
have to make them all that I could have
thrown in
maybe as an example i can throw in a
picture on to replace my third button
press or something like that so right
now for the present one time to find the
third time are kicking sound and then
move on
so what I'm getting at here is you can
press a button multiple tired within any
given page impressive multiple styles
and have different sounds occur each
time and you can actually the same
concept for your lights midi track to
using this random effect if you go to
any light effect let's say I want to go
to page three and press I don't know
this button
ok I got a page three and my mini lights
effect i create a new chain i press this
button double click the green bar so not
only sign of these buttons if i were to
put in another midi effect racks on just
that button and then put a random device
in front of it then I can cycle through
multiple light effects for every time i
press this button if that makes any
sense
I'm gonna expand this manufacturer just
so i can see it up this chance two
hundred percent i'm gonna say i don't
know three different light effects just
for demonstration purposes you can go up
to 24 it looks like
the changes made to alternate and then
i'm going to create three new chains so
i press this button will put this cream
bar need to make two more and then I
just move each 11 after each other for
making a a diagonal line with the green
bars so now it doesn't look like much
but technically you can i press this
button into effect happens as you can
see so then within each of these chains
i could then make whatever I want maybe
like a mean my first effect could just
be a simple vertical bar maybe my second
effect could be of a pulsating effect
like this new my third effects can be a
different color just like that hopefully
get the concept of it basically for
either your samples or your lights if
you throw in an entire either instrument
lack for many effect racks respectively
and then if you put a random many
devices in front of it with an alternate
alternative modes with your number of
choices and you can cycle through any
number of effects or samples just like
here with my life I can have a pulsating
fact i press the same button never a
different color vertical bar that sort
of thing and this is all within one page
of course you can then do it in
different pages to so remember like this
is my samples on page 12 pressing the
same button i'm not changing pages and
we can actually pretty pretty versatile
can help you make some unique covers if
you want to have all of your drop sample
is located on one page
what you want to save some space and use
multiple buttons to have friends down
this is very useful so hopefully that
helps you out hopefully understood what
I was talking about not too complicated
once you get the hang of it it's pretty
much the same concept over and over and
over again so I think that'll do it
in fact i think that might wrap up this
tutorial series it's sort of tentative i
might be one more video I might not

From external speakers, its voice booms at Nachopanda and Nova Hawk.

Nova Hawk leaps forward and shouts "GET SOME!" while firing his arm gun.
GAMEPLAY
"I don't know this guy.

Hey, while we're talking and you're not shooting missiles me, did you eat my friend?"
"Egad, no!

In fact, please take them."
A hatch opens and ejects McLittle from CORE's cabin.
"Now, listen here.
I am the Computational Optimized Response Engine of this Giant Barreltron, and this
anthropomorphic mouse thing has passed my sophisticated tests and has been granted pilot
status."
"McLittle!
You're alive!
Unicorn Heal!"
Nachopanda casts Unicorn Heal on you and Nova Hawk.
It looks and feels like a gross snotty rainbow colored sneeze in your face, and leaves you
really sticky afterwards.
You and Nova Hawk are fully healed, but you secretly hope you never have to have Nachopanda
ever do that to you again.
"Now, as I was saying, McLittle, as you call it, WOULD be my pilot, if the dunderheaded
ninnys in charge of my construction had installed the proper battery.
It would seem this brief battle has completely depleted my energy reserves, and I must recharge
post haste.
I am available to be summoned at your command, but I warn you.
Until you can upgrade my battery or power systems, I am dramatically limited in what
I can do and how long I can operate."
CORE leans in close.
"And if you morons leave me powerless and stranded on the battlefield, swear on my circuts
that I will find a way to chase you down to the ends of the Earth and murder you one by
one.

You shake your head nervously.

Well, until you have need of me, I highly recommend brushing up on how I work.

A hatch opens up and spits out the Giant Barreltron Instruction Manual, hitting you right in the
face.
You don't lose any Hit Points, but it bruised your ego pretty good.
In a spectacular show I don't have time to animate, CORE transforms back into a stack
of barrels and plugs back into the wall.
Congratulations!

You can now use your job points to level up your Giant Barreltron Piloting skills and
unlock attacks and abilities in the Barreltron!
Suddenly, the Red Door opens, and General Honeyfox and Scuba Gus burst into the room!

You stop him and ask him what's going on.

You collect 1 Health Pack, 1 Unicorn Gun, 20 Unicorn Bullets, 1 Guard Force catalog,
and 1 Walkie Talkie!
Nova Hawk wakes back up.
"What hit me?"
"That guy in the other room!"
A single tear runs down Nova Hawk's cheek.
"Get some?"
"Yes.
Get some."
Nova Hawk charges into the next room, as you and Nachopanda stand agape at what just happened.
"Now Yous two get in there, before I busts ya down to Regular Gus level!"
"Believe me, you do NOT want that."
You and Nachopanda exchange an exasperated glance, and march through the door into the
next room.
Now before you even have a chance to look around the room, you walk smack into an epic
and colorful battle between a Female Gunspert, and three giant ghosts.
Nova Hawk lays unconscious on the floor in front of you.
The Ghosts and the Gunspert both stop what they're doing and look directly at you.
"Don't just stand there, help me!"
pleads the Gunspert
"No!
Please!
Save us!" wail the ghosts.

Suwena's Sailing Voyage to the Isle of Man - Duration: 3:26.
Peel is a small town on the west coast of the Isle of Man.
We had a berth for Suwena on the inner harbour behind the sill,
which opens only during the high water.
The town of Peel has everything available for visiting yachtsmen
even including the ruins of the castle and the smokehouse
next to the harbour, not forgetting the friendly sailors all around.
Staying with Suwena in Peel was an excellent decision as
the harbour of the capital town of Douglas is very tight and
the space for visiting yachts is limited.
Travelling between the towns is easy as the bus network of the island is excellent.
The bus routes follow the world famous TT racetrack.
We came to Ramsey for taking a narrow gauge tramway
which is the oldest in the world and it still runs on the
same route with original carriages.
We changed the line in Laxey and started a steep climb
up to the highest mountain on the Isle of Man
for reaching the top of Snaefell.
Soon we were at the top of the Isle of Man
at the height of 620 m.
Back at sea level we changed from the electric power to the horse power.
In Douglas we changed our mode of transport once again.
This time we took the steam train to the south of the island.
However the strangest mode of transport we witnessed was in
Castletown where the annual Tin Bath World Championship is held.
Soon it was time to say goodbye to this strange lovely island
and prepare for another crossing of the Irish Sea.

Friends! Beautiful, white and bright teeth are not only important for oral health and beauty but also very essential for your looks
White teeth are VERY Important make your smile impressive..!
So, come let's know how can you whiten your teeth in minutes!
Friends, for this you will need -
You will get baking soda from the market very easily.
Baking soda whitens your teeth by removing acid from them
This is anti-bacterial, due to which it also kills the bacteria on your teeth
It also removes plague from your teeth, which prevents teeth from decaying.
And you need -
Due to it's cirtic nature it acts as a bleaching agent
It bleaches your teeth and makes them white
And the third thing you need is-
In this solution, Salt acts as an anti bacterial mouth wash
So, come let's know what we have to do now..
In a bowl, take some baking soda - around one tablespoon
Now add one-fourth tablespoon of Salt
And around half a lemon
Now mix it well to form a paste
Now apply this paste on your toothbrush and rub your teeth
After this rise your mouth properly
Repeat this process twice or thrice a week
You will start noticing that your teeth have started turning white and more white
The yellowness is fading away
You will be able to notice natural whitening of your teeth
Friends mixing all these 3 things together balance each other
That is way it makes a perfect natural paste for your teeth
If you want then sometimes you may use each of these 3 things separately
Like lemon
Before throwing away it's peel you may rub it on your teeth
Or, before brushing your teeth you can take a pinch of salt and rub it on your teeth and gums
You can also mix baking soda with few drops of water and rub it on your teeth
And FRIENDS, along with this I'd also like to share a a very simple yet important TIP with you.
Whenever you brush your teeth, for few seconds just give a simple and soft massage to your gums using your finger
This will improve blood circulation in your gums and will help them to remain strong.
Doing this regularly will keep your gums healthy

5 Ways To Release Judgement And Criticism Of Others

Have you been able to fully release judgment and criticism of others? Or instead do you
still find yourself feeling irritated or bothered by the actions and behaviors of others?
I myself am no saint. While I have definitely moved more into a field of appreciating and
accepting others, there are still times when I still find myself getting annoyed. This
is especially true if I feel someone is being closed-minded.
Ironically, my irritation with another�s closed-mindedness is just a form of my own
closed-mindedness, isn�t it?
Below are a few ways I�ve been learning to help me release judgement and criticism
of others.
Some of these ideas have helped me move beyond the need to debate and argue with others,
and they have helped me repair a number of challenging relationships in my life. Others
are newer ideas I am just now learning to play around with.
I hope you enjoy them!
1. Focus on your heart chakra.
Recently my friend Ross Pittman (of Conscious Life News) offered this suggestion to me:
when you get annoyed with others, take a moment just to pause and focus your energy on your
heart, which is the love energy center of the body. A simple redirection of focus can
help you boost feelings of love over judgement.
I�ve been practicing this idea recently and must admit, it works very well!
2. Play devil�s advocate.
So often we assign negative meaning to another person�s actions. We decide that someone�s
behavior is based off of their narrow-mindedness, their hatred, or their inadequacy.
Playing devil�s advocate can turn this around.
To try this strategy, look for a more �positive� excuse for someone�s �negative� behavior.
For example, if someone cuts you off in traffic you might run down a list of possible acceptable
reasons for their behavior. Maybe he cut you off because he was late for work, or because
he is sick and not feeling well. Maybe she cut you off because her kids are distracting
her, or she�s dealing with a problem in her life.
Playing devil�s advocate like this turns around negative judgements like �he�s
a jerk!� or �she�s a bad driver!� When we play devil�s advocate, we look at
others as humans who are trying their best in life, just like us.
3. Find common ground.
When we judge others, we are squarely focused on what makes us different, rather than what
unites us. Finding common ground can be an easy way to reunite you in what brings you
both together.
You share many characteristics with others, and when you notice these commonalities you
naturally feel more bonded. So remind yourself that you are both human, you both have feelings,
and you both want the best out of life. Remind yourself that you both make mistakes and you
both do things right in the world. Reach for what unites you, rather than what separates
you.
4. Ask yourself: what does this person have to teach me?
I think there is a tendency sometimes to look down on others who see things from what appears
to be a �lower level� of awareness. I might consider this �spiritual snobbery,�
and it�s definitely something I�ve seen rear it�s ugly head in my own life!
Though we might be ascending into higher states of awareness, each person we encounter has
something to teach us. Each person we encounter in fact has a level of awareness higher than
our own in some capacity. Looking for what can learn from others is a humbling act that
reminds us no one of us is better, more evolved or more important than any other.
5. Take a broader perspective.
Sometimes it helps simply to step out of the specifics of the situation and look at the
interaction from a more global perspective.
In moments of judgment I might pause and ask: What do I want this life to mean for me in
the end? Do I want to be someone who loved or someone who hated? Do I want to be someone
who judged or someone who sought to understand?
Sometimes just reminding ourselves of the bigger picture can help us ground back into
love for others.
I hope these practices help you to feel compassion and understanding more consistently in your
life, as they have for me.
