for a product that would work that would

still be functional and I it wasn't out

there as I'm going through airports and

seeing so many travelers probably with

the same problem and I figured this is a

problem I can solve myself you know once

i had a solution for business travel i

realised this had great application my

personal life especially in the outdoors

going backpacking or just on hikes I

could bring water with me and when the

bottle was empty it it collapses and

goes away and takes no extra space in

Japan

yeah it's an active lifestyle whether in

the winter when you're skiing and you

can fill up the hideaway in the lodge or

in the summer when you're backpacking or

hiking they collapses in your backpack

and takes no extra space

no one loves buying disposable water

bottles is it's really out of

convenience and the hideaway makes

reusable bottle Morgan be in fact in

some places disposable water bottles are

are being banned so we're all going to

move towards the reusable water bottle

model and that's why I feel like this is

kind of the next generation and

Unboxing The CycleOps Hammer Trainer | Win With GCN! - Duration: 6:16.

because this week's GCN Unboxing is Hammertime.

Okay, well you see the thing is, this week's GCN Unboxing,

is a CycleOps Hammer smart trainer.

Hammertime, see what I did that?

Moving swiftly on, this is the latest and greatest trainer

to come from CycleOps.

They've been making indoor trainers for over 20 years.

And they've been the go-to choice

of many a pro rider in that time.

Currently, in fact, the go-to choice

for the Trek Segafredo WorldTour team.

Now before we actually start to unbox.

(angels singing)

I'm gonna let you in on something here.

Because we are actually gonna give this very trainer away.

(crowd cheering)

I'll tell you how to enter into that competition at the end.

You may have seen me struggling to lift or indeed move,

(beeping sound)

Outta my way

(beeping sound)

smart trainers in recent weeks and yes that is in part

because I'm particularly weedy, see?

But there is no getting away from the fact

that these are really serious bits of equipment.

And so it's quite a bonus to find

that the box for the CycleOps opens sideways.

Wow.

(plastic ripping sound)

That looks like the absolute business.

Satin black with yellow graphics.

That is cool.

The first thing you need to do

is open out the supporting legs.

So, CycleOps tells us that this trainer

has the widest standpoint of any trainer on the market.

So, that is particularly good if you, like Matt,

are prone to dropping some serious wattage bazookas

and some hard sprint efforts.

That could be right up your street.

Then, what you gotta do is drop the back wheel

out of your bike and connected it directly up

to the trainer, having of course put

a cassette on there first.

Now, if I have a rummage around here in the box

then I can find these.

So, using these axle spaces, you can adjust your hammer

to fit just about any configuration of axle.

So, that is set up for 135mm quick release.

You can also get 130mm quick release.

Or, you could go new school and have

142mm through axle or even super new school

148mm boost through axles.

So you could fit conceivably (mumbles) mountain bike

on that if you so wished.

And then, something that I've been told about

and I quite want to investigate is that apparently

under there is a built-in front wheel mount,

so there you go, stored in the trainer,

you pop that on your front wheel and when you're training

it stops it waggling all over the place.

And gives it some nice support.

As cool as these features are, what is more important

is what's going on in there.

And being a smart trainer there is a lot going on.

Most of the heft of this trainer, is actually down

into the 9kg fly wheel.

It's not there to provide resistance.

What it does, is it gives the flywheel more inertia.

So when you're up to speed and then you stop peddling

the flywheel can keep turning just like your wheels would do

actually when you're out on the open road.

And then what does provide the resistance

is an electromagnetic unit inside.

Which when plugged into the mains...

via a plug.

It will provide up to two thousand watts of resistance.

And indeed it will also simulate gradients of up to 20%.

I wonder what that would be like.

- Yeah, it's pretty hard.

- We have heard a lot about the hammer now,

we haven't heard really touched on its smart side yet.

So, it can connect up to a third party device

via ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart.

And then you can either control the resistance

of the trainer manually, or let's face it,

much better, you can follow

a pre-programmed work-out or virtual ride.

So, you can take for example,

the CycleOps Virtual Trainer software,

you download it to your tablet or PC

and then you can actually simulate accurately a real course.

Because the trainer will follow along and

adjust the resistance based on the gradients in real time.

Whilst you obviously lead the way,

watching a video of the route.

Of if structured training is more your thing,

the Hammer will accurately keep you to a pre-set wattage

regardless of your gear choice or cadence.

And that's going to be absolutely perfect

for hard intervals.

And then of course, it will also be compatible

with Zwift and the like.

Borrowing technology from their sister company Power Tap

there is also a built-in power metre in there,

meaning that any power that you put out

will accurately be translated into whatever software

you happen to be using.

And then, like I mentioned earlier, there is also a function

that will keep you to a pre-set power.

Now it's called Erg Mode.

It's frankly, absolutely brutal, or at least it can be.

You set whatever wattage you want like,

I dunno, 450 watts if you happen to be fab

and you can't (mumbles).

And then, the hammer will keep you there.

Ouch.

Well, so far so good.

That is an awesome bit of gear.

And like I said at the beginning,

you can potentially win it.

All you gotta do, if you want to train harder

or train smarter or train more effectively,

or indeed just enjoy your training more,

Sitting in Wheelchairs - Things You Don't Think About | Gem Turner | Disability Diary - Duration: 5:20.

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel!

First of all actually just to say thank you to everyone that's watched my videos so far

it's very nice to have good comments and you know I just like to spread some joy around

for a little bit also not sure about this lighting basically I'm not an expert yet and

I'm using one of those bright lamps but I'm not sure if it's working but let's just go for

it ok so today we're going to be talking about things that you don't think about when you

use a wheelchair I don't know how to summarise that basically you know like a buzzfeed things

things you didn't know about being in a wheelchair OOh maybe it's that

things you didn't know about being in a wheelchair boom!

Ok let's get started I'm going to be a bit gross but I feel like

we're all friends now Crumbs!

There's just you can never hide what you have been eating but you know if you're having

a Greggs sausage roll there's gonna be bits you've got to get an old tooth brush and make

sure that there's no Greggs sausage roll in there

People make comments like on my foot rest and stuff and I'm like if it bothers you clean

it but I can't reach...

Similarly the weather the weather really does define how you feel

*dog bark* eurgh *mumble*

*dog bark* So the weather so when it's raining I haven't

really tested this out but I'm guessing rain and electronics don't go together so when

it rains I tend to just get out as in or get in I try and get in a taxi or some kind of

transport that's not stressful or just get inside because fun fact I did try and water

some conifers when I was a kid and my chair broke because I got water in it

eurgh but fun fact kids don't conifer no don't water

your conifers with a hose because it'll break your chair

Similarly again hot weather this is metal it hurts! my footrest is metal so when the

hot weather comes you've got to put a little which makes me cringe but you've got to put

a little like blanket or t-shirt situation because you're gonna burn your feet and I

don't walk so my feet are nice so I want to keep them you know nice so in hot weather

be careful because it is really hot.

I've had some near misses with I mean obviously I do everything in this chair so I get changed

you know I'm flicking about and then I forget that I've left stuff on my chair so I may

or may not have once embarrassingly left *mumbles* I'm not going to say what clothing it was

because it's too embarrassing but basically you've got to check a full length mirror front

and back before you go outside Also you've got to be an organised person

which unfortunately I've had to train myself to be I always say that if I wasn't in a wheelchair

I would probably be really disorganised but being disabled you've got to kind of be a

little bit organised but every other night I have to charge my wheelchair which is difficult

to remember you know like when you're tired and you think oh god I've got to brush my

teeth you've got to brush your teeth then charge your chair which is just an added thing

you don't wanna do but if you don't do it you can't get out

and before anyone asks no I've never got to a point where my chairs just stopped working

because why would you let that happen?

When you're in a chair you've got to think about cobbles

now I love Coronation Street but I'd hate to live there me and my mum went to a tour

last year and I was so overwhelmed because it was like my childhood dream but I don't

think I could live there, Izzy I don't know how you do it because the cobbles are everything

starts shaking and no it's a good toner for your body but I couldn't do it everyday generally

I like smooth surfaces all the way.

Unfortunately talking about things on the floor there can also be dog plop on the floor

as well you've got to watch out for that, basically when you're driving you've got to

watch out for kids and poo kids and poo constantly and then you've got to interact with people

which is another level so you've got to do a lot of multitasking

and I immediately say a picture of a woman with massive boobs

So, that's an issue for me

But, I read the article ... and in essence is says

this beautiful woman will make a sex tape

as soon as she gets a million subscribers

and I read in the article that immediately after publishing this film

she, actually got 60k subscribers

Can you f**king believe that??

I've worked for two years to have 6,000 subscribers

and I still haven't reached it ... still haven't ...

I read the article and thought

that this idea was great

it seems she knows what she's doing

because she got so many subscribers immediately

and then I thought, "Ha ha!"

I need to steel this idea!

So, I want to follow it in full

So, I read the rest of the article

and she said, that she'll make this film

with another YouTuber, who she trusts

and I thought, "Oh great, I need to do that, right?"

So, I need to choose a YouTuber

So, I chose Vanege!

My Citroën Cactus C4 Review! - Duration: 5:58.

so today I'm with a citroen c4 Cactus

so my first ride in a

citroen c4 cactus feel like I'm in some

sort of like a mini ish SUV kind of car

citroen c4 cactus the first time I saw

this car driving I was

kind of surprised because it looks sort

of like an SUV it looks bigger than it

is

that's the funny thing about it because

it's not a it's not a big car but it

feels like a bulky big car

I love the seats

the seats are really comfortable that is

a very powerful car think I think this

is a 1.2 version with 80 break horse power

something like that. The gearbox

is kind of jerky though

this is what the owner told me he said

that gearbox may feel a little bit jerky

sometimes and driving it for only like

five minutes now and i feel i can

understand what he means for that I'm so

distracted right now because it's really

weird to be driving behind my own car

I've never seen my own car being driven

by somebody else while I'm not in my own

car so it's kind of sort of it's putting

me off ....

Wow, did the engine just stop? stop start engine or something i'm not

sure if I like that to be honest I mean

I get why they do that you know it's more

fuel friendly may be better for the

environment

what if you're like an in a traffic jam

and you just sort of creeping all the

time so you just the engine starts to

dry for 2 / 3 meters the engine stops I

mean that in that happens like all the

time that seems like a very sort of

annoying thing to me i don't know if i

would actually prefer that the shifting

i can tell you right now it's very very

different from what I'm used to my lexus

the owner told me about this by the way

said that you really feel like it's sort

of

momentum like a pause between gears and

you definitely feel that it's a nice

area by the way we're driving in the

South of Holland right now and we're

entering a wooded area and ooh person

running there yes we're going to left here

alright whatever problem I mean I will

follow you because you're in my car...

this road is nice by the way

it's really is nice nice curvy road i

like it ya like a lot

just if I having trouble keeping up with

my own car i think that he's having some

fun in my car and I think he's enjoying

himself and I am too, but you know just

doesn't feel like the kind of car that

you want to like throw into corners and

stuff it doesn't want to do that

I've always wanted to do something like

this so this is my chance to do that

feels robbery

it says air pump I don't know if you can

see that i think is a very clever thing

that they did because you know don't you

take it like when you're in the parking

lot and you open your door somebody else

over the door and you just bump into

each other well with this car you don't

have to worry about that

awesome that's driving this car for a

little bit i can i can see what's the

trend is to try to do with this car

because it has very trendy and hip sort

of look and also feels very sort of

comfortable and laid back to drive so

you know it's part of you yeah i'm not a

scientist be kind of guy when it comes

to cars i just feels like cars

intentionally like driving cars and

experiencing them despite the track this

ball just the spiky cactus I really

really like the interior of this card I

mean the colors of the wind seats filled

its seats are really comfortable driving

position is despite your your bed height

like straight up and as I said before

that the only thing I don't I really

don't like about scars hardships ears

pierced and they would have done that

better than this car would have been

really really cool but the gearshift

kind of ruined it for me if I have to be

honest also we just really funny this

car weighs 1,000 50 kilograms that is

actually quite light if you see the car

you would not think that weighs 1,000

kilograms you would think it's just more

heavy so I guess we used by really

lightweight but their house so rob was

back at the at the owners of the house

so I'm going to conclude this

And so that would be the price of the card, which runs between $4.50 and $7.50 a card.

These are again 8-1/2 by 11 this is a card from our catalog and again, you can choose

to send this as a postcard, a 2 panel card, a 3 panel or this BIG card and you use the

same design for all 4 styles.

Again, you can put your message on the inside, the font and your signature, everything's

the same.

I'll show you some also with pictures inside.

Here's one for Easter, again this is 8-1/2 by 11, this is a large card and you can put

your message on the inside, you make it whatever you want.

This is one for Mother's Day, with love for mother's day, again a 8-1/2 by 11.

This one's got a picture of my husband and I and a message to mom.

This is from last year, You've always shown me what love really means, with love, Bill

and Barb.

So a Mother's Day card.

This is the one I showed you last week, this is my daughter, granddaughter and mom, and

again, these are elements that we use, the border and elements down here, just pop a

picture in the middle and you're good to go.

You click send and we send the card out for you.

The postage on these are about $1.20 to $1.25, so that's what the stamp would cost.

Obviously it's gonna be more to mail this than .49 cents so we just charge whatever

the post office charges.

Here's one with a business card on the front, a hand holding a business card, and it says

"I thought I would send you MY card", this is my old business card there, and then I

sent this out to someone I had met at a business networking event.

So there's my phone number and name here and my message on the inside.

So it's something special and different that you could use for that purpose, for business.

Personally, I use it for things like this, this is a milestone birthday, 50th birthday,

this is a friend of ours, she celebrated her 50th birthday a few years ago, so I sent her

this BIG card and again, it's got our message on the inside and our name so that's another

card.

Also, a friend of mine had a home-based business, she was a baker and she did bake cake balls,

and cakes and different kinds of cake and bakery products and she moved from her home

into a storefront and she was really excited, so this is a picture of her grand opening

storefront here in Wyandotte, in Michigan, and there's a picture of her in front of her

store, and congratulations on her recent move and she's very successful; she does a lot

of business and um, I'm really happy about that, so I sent her a BIG card with the storefront

and a picture of her in front of it.

Here's one for another restaurant owner here in town, they're good friends of ours and

they celebrated their 30th anniversary.

It's a great breakfast place, great restaurant, right in downtown Wyandotte, where we live,

and again, congratulations on 30 years in business.

We put our picture up here and our message, with our signature and this is another one

that we sent out of the BIG card just to make a bigger impact.

It makes an impression, it makes an impact for milestone anniversaries, milestone birthdays,

grand openings, things like that.

You can also use it for business, here's one gentleman that used it for real estate.

He's in Malibu California and this is a $15 million dollar Malibu beach house.

So you can see he's got photos, let me back it up a little bit so you can see, he's got

photos, he's got a QR code here that you can scan and watch a video, and the surroundings

and the grounds and the pool and then his contact information down here.

So again this is great to use for something real estate related, um, selling cars, whatever

sales your doing, and you wanna make a big impression, this is a great way to do it with

a 8-1/2 by 11 card.

And the last one is a 90th birthday and again, this is friends of ours their mother, she

shares the same birthday as I do, we're both December 17th so um, this is her 90th birthday

and these are all her kids that were in town for her birthday.

And then I took a bunch of pictures off of Facebook and we've got a great card here of

pictures of her, her family when she was younger, and then here when she was, uh, a few years

ago and nice little message from my husband and I and then I of course put the custom

brand manager on the back with a calendar.

So again, these are BIG cards, these are special cards they can be used for special occasions.

I wouldn't send them on a daily basis but if there's a milestone event coming up, or

a special day, that's when I would consider using them, so I recommend that.
