Waching daily Feb 5 2017

Hello everybody, it's Gabriela from Tarot Wonderland.

Thank you for joining me for your weekly reading.

This reading will run from February 6th to 12th, 2017.

I am using the Oracle Tarot by Lucy Cavendish for this reading.

They're really nice cards, I know you will enjoy them.

Let's get started.

Our first card is the Six of Cups and it's called Reflection in this deck.

It came up reversed but I'm showing you the card in the upright position so you can see

the image.

So this is really interesting ... the Six of Cups is often referred to as the "Nostalgia"

card.

It's about looking back at a certain time of your life.

It can often refer to childhood ... to your childhood .. when things were happier, when

things were simpler, when things were a little bit more innocent and carefree.

So in this card we see this woman who is opening up this cupboard and she's looking at these

cups as if she wants to select which one of those cups for her coffee or tea or whatever.

There's a cute heart on the cupboard, above it, and notice how she's got a bunch of question

marks on the hem of her dress.

So to me, what the cups represent in this card are memories.

She's looking at these memories, she's opening up this cupboard, she's looking inside herself.

She's looking at her past and she has all these memories in front of her that she can

choose from.

With the card in the upright position it's suggesting these are positive memories.

These are positive feelings, positive associations that she has that she has to choose from and

think about.

But with the card in the reverse, the sense that I'm getting is that you may be looking

back on maybe not so pleasant memories in your life.

You're kind of focusing on negative memories rather than positive ones.

You may be kind of obsessing about something or someone or a certain time of your life

that was maybe traumatic or you went through a lot of stuff.

And this has been on your mind lately.

So to me what this card is saying is that we may be kind of focusing on feelings that

are not that pleasant.

Bad memories, unpleasant memories, things that have not been ... things in life that

maybe have not been that kind to us and we may be kind of obsessing on that or focusing

on that this week.

Our second card is the Hierophant card.

It's called Tradition in this deck but this would be the Hierophant card in the Rider-Waite

system.

It's very interesting, this is a very interesting spin on that Hierophant card.

We see a woman ... we can't see her frontally, we're not seeing her from the front, just

from the side, but she seems to be this very beautiful woman with this long flowing blonde

hair and it looks like she has a flower on the table in front of her.

There's also a flower in a picture frame above her and she's in this house or this structure

and she's looking outside.

So the Hierophant represents tradition, as it says here on this card.

It usually represents a teacher, somebody very wise, an elder, somebody who upholds

and has very high standards and teaches people their beliefs about their tradition, about

their belief system, their morals, their ethics, their values.

What they consider important in life.

And they teach people how to live their best life.

But it has the danger of making you kind of insulated, as we see here.

This woman is in this house and she's looking out the window.

She's not outside, she's inside.

She's in this little box.

So although this person does have very valuable things to share and teach, they are also kind

of ... there's also kind of cut off from other things outside.

They stick very strictly to one particular belief system or one value system and that

kind of blinds them to other things or other possibilities.

So they live their life from a very set structure of beliefs and values and so on.

That is one thing this card is about.

Now I find it very interesting that the keywords on this card are nostalgia and reflection.

I think they definitely relate back to that Six of Cups card that we drew in the first

card because that is the Nostalgia card.

Six of Cups is the Nostalgia card, that's one of the names for it.

And also the keyword on that card was Reflection so we're seeing that card sort of mirrored

here.

And it definitely is relating to that.

I'm getting a lot of stuff off this card.

Notice how this woman is sort of ... it looks like she's leaning in that window.

It looks like she's looking outside.

It's like she wants to break out of this box.

She's curious about what's outside.

She wants to go outside but she still is very much ... it's like she's stuck.

It's like she's stuck in this place.

Although she's curious about other things it seems like she doesn't want to leave.

She's curious but she doesn't want to leave.

She wants to stay in her safe little box.

So that could be having something to do with what you're thinking about this week, like

I was saying about maybe having unpleasant memories or focusing on negative things and

that can have something to do with why you may be feeling stuck in a certain place or

a certain belief system or a certain set of values.

Maybe you're feeling trapped by this in some way.

So let's move on to card three and then as usual I will wrap up at the end.

Our third card is the Eight of Swords and it came up reversed but I'm showing you the

card upright.

So there's a definite theme going on here.

And again, the image on this card is very different from the Rider-Waite, the traditional

Rider-Waite image which is a woman standing on a beach and she's surrounded by swords

and she's blindfolded and there are ties around her.

it's about feeling bound but it's more by your own mind.

In this deck, this card is called Caring for Yourself and we see this person, this woman,

who looks like she's about to eat a bowl of soup.

She looks very comfortable.

She's sitting down to eat her soup.

She is nurturing herself.

She's eating a meal.

And these swords are all around her but she doesn't look unhappy about it.

She doesn't look like she is restricted in any way.

She's even kind of smiling to herself and she's got these beautiful green eyes.

So it doesn't look like she is suffering at all.

It doesn't look like she is feeling trapped.

She may be in a box of her own making.

She may feel very comfortable there.

Now as I said this card did come up in the reverse so what this is suggesting to me is

that you may not be ... your previous modes of making yourself feel safe, of keeping yourself

in a little box aren't feeling good to you anymore.

They may be feeling outmoded or they may be feeling outdated.

And you are ready ... I think you're ready to break out of your box.

I think you're ready to try something new.

You just may not have ... you just may not know how to go about it.

So what I'm getting from this is nurturing yourself ... keeping yourself in your own

little box, your own little space has been your way of feeling safe and secure and like

you can be sure of what's going on in your world when you kind of limit yourself to certain

things.

But with the card in the reverse it's telling me this isn't working for you anymore.

Maybe you're ready to grow, maybe you feel secure enough that you're ready to go out

and try new things and this could be indicating that.

So let me show you all three cards and I will sum this up.

Very interesting reading here.

So guys, what I'm seeing here is ... it's actually very profound.

I think there are some very major changes going on in some of us, some very ... I think

some of us have been thinking a lot about our family patterns, about behavior patterns

that we've seen around us, how they have affected us in our lives.

And we have been feeling trapped by this for some time, I think.

We have wanted to live a different way and try different things but we may have felt

very limited by those or maybe past trauma, past things that have happened to us, memories

that have happened to us have prevented us from moving forward in a certain direction.

And I really see this as some of us really kind of on the periphery of a major new cycle

in our life here.

This is very, very beautiful.

It's definitely not a week of a lot of action.

This is a very inward week.

We have emotion here with the Six of Cups.

We have the mind with the Eight of Swords.

And then we've got that Major Arcana Hierophant right in the middle there.

So this is a very inward week.

This is a very inner week for a lot of us.

I think a lot of us are going through a very profound change right now and it has to do

with emotion and the way that emotion has affected the way we think and the way we go

about our lives, the way that we have kind of put ourselves in our own little bubble

and protected ourselves from what we perceive as danger or from more negativity happening

to us.

A lot of people do that ... to avoid pain they stay in this little box and they keep

themselves very insulated and that way they feel they are protecting themselves ... but

in the same vein, they're also very much limiting their lives.

And with the way that this woman on the Tradition card, the Hierophant card, is leaning at that

window ... it's like you want to get out there, you want to get outside, you want to try something

new, you want to venture out of your comfort zone and explore.

Explore more of what life has to offer.

But also this may have a lot to do with family tradition.

Maybe with what you've been taught by your family.

Like, it's not proper to do this, it's not proper to do that.

"This is the way we do things in this family."

"This is not okay."

Those kind of things may also have been holding you back and I think you're really ready to

break out of that this week.

I just noticed how the heart on that Six of Cups card at the top of the cupboard ... with

the card in reverse it almost looks like a teardrop.

So I'm really sensing that this reading is referring to childhood pain or emotional pain

in your past that is really coming into play this week.

It's playing a part in your life this week.

It could have to do with your family ... maybe something's going on in your family that's

bringing a lot of this stuff up for you and it's made you realize how it has limited you

in your life and you're just fed up with it and you're really ready to make a change and

break out of that and just go to the beat of your own drummer.

So that is really what I'm seeing here.

The Hierophant card can also refer to marriage so this could have to do with maybe there's

some marriage stuff going on for you that ... there's stuff that you're going through

in the past of your marriage, things that have happened, things that have hurt you,

painful things that have happened in your marriage and that have kept you feeling trapped

or limited.

And you're just done with that.

Maybe you are really seriously questioning ... again, those question marks on the bottom

of her dress, right?

Maybe you're really questioning things and just kind of putting everything together in

your mind and thinking, okay how has this all affected me?

What has this done to me?

How has it made me the person I am today?

Do I still want to be that person?

And I think you're really questioning that this week.

So guys, whether this is something .. this is a general reading so it won't apply to

everybody but for those of you that it does resonate with and you are really hearing this

right now, if you've been going over stuff ... thinking about your childhood, your past,

your family history, how that may have limited you, the teachings in your family, the role

models that you had, if you have been feeling limited by that and really are fed up with

it and want to make a change, or whether this is marriage related ... maybe in your marriage

you're thinking about things that have happened and how it has made you the person that you

are, the couple that you are, and you're feeling like you need to break out of that.

You're just done with it ... if you're going through any of that stuff ... I know that

kind of thing can be really difficult, it can be really difficult to deal with these

things, so if you need to talk to somebody ... whether it's a professional or a friend,

please do that.

Find somebody who you can really trust, whether it's a friend or a counselor or somebody.

If you're really feeling like you're in a lot of pain and you need to talk and you need

to get this stuff out of you, definitely avail yourself of that because there could be a

lot of painful feelings going on right now and the more that you can talk about them,

the more that you can express and work through them, the better.

So I think I'm going to leave it there.

I think this is going to be .. we are on the cusp of a major change here.

There's a major realization that has come to us this week and I think there are great

possibilities in front of us but before those can come to fruition I think we need to work

through this stuff and expel it and get it out there and be honest about it and talk

about it and work through it and once you've done that, the possibilities are endless.

So guys, very interesting reading.

I hope you found this helpful and I hope you enjoyed it.

I Who Say Goodbye To This Crumbling World

The Bad End beckons from the end of the tunnel

Waving me over, saying: "...Come here."

I was asked by the tiny magician nearby: "Aren't you going?"

The world that had fallen into ruin keeled over

Above the long, long tracks, all alone

I wonder where that shadowy figure has gone off to?

That flashing railroad crossing urges me on, as if saying, "Hurry up and go!"

Oh my

If a beautiful landscape awaited me,

That would be a wonderful thing...

Beautiful

Hated

Beautiful somehow, yet hated somehow

Beautiful somehow, having become completely unable to tell the difference

Hated

Beautiful somehow yet hated somehow, beautiful somehow yet hated?

Well then, in the end...

Having been happy until the day misfortune fell into the garden from the skies

In the midst of kindness, it was like a bolt of thunder from that white coat

That kind and cheerful magician came back completely changed

This left hand which held on tightly,

swore to never let go

Though laughable and unnatural, if you smile, things take a sudden turn

By means of the words of I who did not want to sacrifice even a little, the future became a self-contradiction

If I squinted my eyes, looking to see if the rail was being laid down before me,

The world affixed to my feet

...let forth a sound

Hated

Beautiful

Hated somehow, yet beautiful somehow

Hated somehow, having become completely unable to tell the difference

Beautiful

Hated somehow yet beautiful somehow, hated somehow yet beautiful?

Well then, in the end...

On my own,

Jumping off these tracks to regain that warm breath

On my own,

I'll remain standing inside this crumbling world

Hey

Save me, Apricot tea.

Thanks for watching!

[TAS] GBA Spongebob Squarepants: Supersponge - Jelly Fields in 4.5x A Presses - Duration: 1:20.

Welcome to Jelly Fields in 4.5 A Presses.

On some stages, Spongebob can be knocked onto platforms via enemies. This isn't the case here. 1 A Press.

I could've caught the Jellyfish with the net and do a cool trick to defeat the Red enemy coming up, but it's slower that way.

The Red enemy doesn't have the range to knock me onto the platform. 2x A Press.

I could get onto that platform two ways: Jumping and letting that enemy hit me from close range, or Jumping onto it. Nonetheless, 3x A Press.

Once again, the slug couldn't knock me onto the platform above. 4x A Press.

I wait for the big jellyfish platform so I can walk on it. I don't have to waste an A Press by jumping on it. Then I just walk right to get off the platform onto the grass, don't have to waste another A Press there either. Unfortunately, you can't see the platform, but I could when I was doing playing the game itself.

Just like the big jellyfish platform, I wait for this platform to appear so I can walk on it. After I walk on that platform, I can walk on the next one.

I hold the A button as I jump to this platform and collect the Jellyfish Jelly. When you hold A before collecting an item, it counts as half an A press. So, that was Jelly Fields done in 4.5 A Presses! I hoped you enjoyed it!

Sprint 8: Scrum based project building a web app in 8 weeks. - Duration: 4:02.

Hello and welcome to the last demo of this web app project

it's been 8-weeks since I started this, and this week,

i did a little bit of work on the theming of the application, so I brought in a bootstrap theme

and, the app isn't really looking very different than last week

other than the colours are a bit more subtle

and, were gonna have a share of the desktop and I'll just going to walk through that and the other items I did this week.

here's my desktop

you can see on the right hand side these actual buttons are now kind of anthracite / grey

we no longer have blue, red and so on

and,

the theme is applied

so, if i were going to get a designer, we could actually make this app look a little bit better, i think!

it was not the aim of this project to have a fantastic looking application

i think i did mention this before

if you are going to be targeting ipad

so the itunes and android

then you really should be looking at getting a UX designer from the very beginning

you want to have your app looking as great as possible

that's how your app is going to get sold, people are going to go through the shop and see the app

and, features are usually comparable

for apps in any segment

so

one last thing im going to show you here with the app is if i press f12 to bring up the developer screen

you might to get to see this

is how these columns actually shrink

and disappear if we make it smaller

so if we go to a smaller device

you see the url has gone

i also did the same thing on my mobile phone

and also took an iPhone and tested and it works there

i think it's really important if your testing these apps

is to actually use the physical devices themselves

there is nothing quite like having the device in your hand

and thouching it and seeing how it reacts

so

just the last thing i want to wrap up on this project

this was really an ember app

and i just have to say that ember

it is fantastic

i recently watched a video on pluralsight

which was a strategic video about Angular

and compared it to the Ember cli

and i felt they really got it quite wrong

yes, they said Ember is, em....

i have to laugh here

i cant think of the words they said actually.

but

they said it was an opinionated application / framework

and

it is certainly not so easy to learn

but, i think where Ember has made up for things is with their Ember CLI, the command line interface

it is fantastic

and having this week actually having tried the Angular command line interface (CLI)

which should also make it very easy to create an Angular project

i just wasn't impressed

it downloaded hundreds of megabytes of files

it took an extraordinary amount of time to setup the project

but i'll be going after this in the coming months

in the end of February i plan to take a 2 day training on angular 2

and im going to see how that works out

and maybe i change my mind at that time

so i'll just look at my notes... yup!

there is a big blog this week where i discuss things like the critical path analysis

to look at the dependencies of stories

i urge you to go and read through the blog

if your serious about your planning as i am.

im not going to talk about it in this video because i don't have the graphical overlays just yet

to show you that and make it so visible.

and make it visible in a video like this

i hope these videos have been of help

in the web app project

and i just want to say thank you for watching this and bye for now...

Secret Netflix codes help you watch shows and films no matter WHERE you are - Duration: 1:46.

Revealed: A secret list of Netflix codes that will help you watch your favourite TV shows and films no matter where you live

A secret list of Netflix codes has been revealed, helping you watch your favourite TV shows and films.

From Asian action movies to baseball films, the codes allow you to access thousands of sub-genres - no matter where you live. All you have to do is change the numerical code on the end of the 'genre' URL.

PHOTO: A secret list of Netflix codes has been revealed, helping you watch your favourite TV shows and films

Netflix's internet television service is now available in 190 countries across the world. The service normally only lets you search for films and TV shows using more general categories, like comedy or thriller.

There are at least two unofficial sites that have compiled the codes you need, including one that covers more than 27,000 sub-genres.

Some codes may no longer work, as the site is constantly changing. There may also be variations due to regional differences.

However, with the thousands of genres on offer, there are plenty to pick from even if some don't do the trick.

Netflix ended 2016 with nearly 94 million subscribers from around the world. An expansion drive has meant that nearly half of Netflix users are now outside the US, a proportion expected to increase as it adds more customers.

Make Word Search Puzzles for your Classroom | EdTech School - Duration: 3:57.

Welcome back to EdTech school.

Using games and puzzles in your class is always a hit with the students.

Whether you use them as an introduction for a new chapter,

as a practice break in the middle of a section, or to end a class,

puzzles are a useful and fun way to add some interactivity to your class.

This week's video is about the Word Search Puzzle.

You can make word search puzzles for all kind of lessons.

If you'd like me to make more videos about creative lesson ideas, let me know by giving

the video a thumbs up.

The examples I'll be showing were all made with BookWidgets, but you can, of course,

use any other tool you like.

First up: Word Search Puzzles for language lessons

Languages are all about words, so it's pretty obvious

that a word search puzzle is a perfect fit here.

Let's start with an easy one for teaching foreign vocabulary.

I've put English words in a column as clues, and let the student find the Spanish translation

Just like you see here.

There are different ways to change the difficulty

of this puzzle.

Instead of just having horizontal and vertical words,

also place words diagonally or even in reverse direction.

You can also leave out the clues or make the grid bigger.

This English word search puzzle contains words in all directions,

and doesn't have any clues (except that you have to look for objects

from the kitchen).

You can easily make a word search puzzle for science lessons too.

Most science subjects come with a lot of terminology to learn.

Let's take Biology, for example: not only do you have a long list of

plants, animals, and other organisms to learn, but each of these consists of lots of other

parts with hard-to-remember names.

For every level of terminology, we can make nice word search puzzles.

How about geography?

Names of continents, countries, cities, rivers, mountains, …

All great candidates to put in a word list, and get your students active during class.

Use your creativity to make Word Search Puzzles for Kids.

There's nothing the youngest like doing more

than learn by playing.

Word search puzzles can be a great way to teach young kids to read.

In this case though, I recommend only placing words horizontally.

An easy way to start off is by letting them search for simple words

from a list

They can match the letters from the description list

with the letters from the center to get to know the letters and words.

You can make things a little bit harder by removing the words from the list,

and replace them by emoji, giving them the chance to learn the letters

by heart.

Word search puzzles can also help with their first steps in math:

learning the numbers and how to write them.

My last example shows you how to break the ice with Word Search Puzzles.

If you've watched EdTech school before, you know that I'm a fan of

using games as ice breakers in the classroom.

Word search puzzles can be used as a fun way to get to know each other's names

at the start of the school year.

You can use descriptions of the student as clues,

and let them find first names in the word search;

or, you can list the first names in a list, and leave the last names to be searched in

the word search.

That's all I have for you this week.

If you want to make these puzzles yourself, check the link in the video description!

Hope to see you back next week, for more EdTech tips.
