Hi doc, hi. Dad want some strawberries. They're super healthy and friend. I
Brought you to my clinic because well you're a toy and you're not working
I
Want you to blow in this feather as hard as you can I'll try way super hard
Good idea. If you blow on the feather, we can compare how hard you puff to how hard bubble monkey puffed
Take a deep breath for me good now breathe out
Hmm symptoms are your body's way of talking to you? Like when your ear hurts or you have an itchy spot?
Things like that of symptoms that something is wrong
Even dragon tummy gurgles are scary. I think I feel hungry
A little squeeze if it helps me blow beautiful bubbles again, then you bet
This is a sticky situation
Oops. Oh
Thanks, doc. I was worried. I was gonna be stuck too stuffy forever and mystery tummy could gurgle at any second
Weird
Before I can give you a diagnosis, I'm gonna have to do some Festa gating
Can you get stuffy until we cleaned up while I talk to MA and Alma? I'm onto something Alma
What did you fill her with I use this one? It's pink and pink is pretty but Alma
This one is the bubble soap to make our bodies healthy and feel good. We do. Yep
We need fruits and vegetables instead of candy and sugar just like bubble monkey needs bubble, sir
You have a bad case of gunk inside a tube gunk inside a tube
That sounds super duper yicky
Huh?
You kid eat salad or salmon or smoothie next thing
Can you get the paste out sure I'll just run some water through your tools now, let's fill you up, right?
So much
You fixed her. Oh
Thanks. Doc. You're super fantastic. I do love my job
Hold it here. Bubbles are after me. No, let's get you back to em, you know, MA
And this time I brought bubble
Kirby and the cake
My new sparkly sunglasses
they made I had a red carpet so I could walk on it like a movie stars a
red carpet for you Milani
Rus is mine
Excuse me fancy lamb, but you have a spider on your sunglasses
There's sunglasses only work when worn by a cute little left
Now return them you'll soon have happened if you hadn't stolen Lamas sunglasses
It's not okay to take things that aren't yours wicked King
Is a nice either but lady McStuffins I was only trying to walk are you out here
SIA not as a knight. I am sworn to protect the king
But the Cardinal master is too strong for even sir Kirby the way it might fall apart
Why don't you take your toys to your room until it dries? Okay, doc. You're the expert toy fixer
You silly King unhand my I don't have hands
I
Seem to be hairy monster you silly dilly. It's only made of cardboard. Oh, you're the silly dilly
We must get to doc so she can figure out a way to unstick us for once I completely
Oh
Look, there's doc
Oh
It sure is qui tapped on the window
All this looking at clouds is making me hungry, I'm gonna go see if we can sneak out and find doc
Not trapped I have a plan take me to that yo-yo
Now take the loop can you throw it around the door handle I think you did it was an excellent plan
Well, you made an excellent throne we did it together
You bet kiddo I'll be outside if you need help setting the table
To see you two getting along but we should take you to the clinic to figure out why you're stuck together
Sorry, but I have to examine you to see if I can figure out why you're stuck together
Looks like we got piece this one in the big book of boo-boos
Don't worry gotta put some water on the paste to loosen it up Oh
Chilly hmm. Chilly that should soften it up. I dare say it is nice to be free again, but

Why You Must Use Emoji / Emoticons - Duration: 9:54.
why you must use emoticons hi this is John Ruman I'm an international
business coach and consultant making email marketing easier for you I'm
having email marketing class here in a couple weeks
unpacking why mota cons are critical so we live in a world where there's a lot
of distraction so you're watching this now in the time that you watch this
notice how many feeds come through of all we got a text
I got a whatsapp someone's going live hey someone else is going live hey
John's going live hey you know just all these things are happening someone calls
you I mean phone or verbally all these things are happening and the challenge
is it's easy to understand why people get distracted and when we read we lack
the patience that we may have I'm sure it's frustrating to many people who are
kind of the particular people who read every line when they do any sort of
marketing now it's important that you do what is minimal and the most visual so
what an emoticon does in a subject line or within an email itself it's a visual
reference point so people when they read email it's important that certain things
stand out and it has to represent something of an emotional or relational
aspect for the person's mind so if you're watching me on so I have a copy
will watch me so carribean couldn't de how are you so if you're watching this
on Facebook you say I actually use an emoticon in this and I use it looks like
a city in the sunset so that gives you certain emotion reference point I could
put someone arms up cheering I could put I don't know like a picture of a dog but
the point is is you can use these to help the person get a quick reference
what is this about and what it allows you to do is be more effective to
getting the message across so if you have a message on
even in text with emoticons or a but where again we're using this for email
marketing but anything that will allow you to leverage the visual reference
point of the of the conversation will make it so you have more impact and more
people actually pause but that's what they will see because we are visual
animals when you write email for example text only is great because it does force
people to read people can get very lazy with literally a visual like a cascade
of almost like a portrait series of photos it's nice but it's not the same
thing as just reading text but when you have an aspect of visual reference photo
emoticon it brings people because we're very visual and and that is why for me
as a guy and and I am the kind of guy who's very I'm a guy's guy okay I'm
happy to go and watch sports I'm happy to go do a lot of stuff that so I don't
necessary want to paint all day alright so listen so so I am NOT the kind of
person who is drawn to emoticons and I'm not here to put them down or anything
but I understand them as a leverage tool in a method of communication so I won't
use them all the time when I send text messages I don't get an lol from John I
won't you sure you know that's just not the way I speak and and and again I
respect the modern culture I'm not here to say I want you to do what works for
you but you must leverage intelligently placed strategically placed emoticons in
whatever you're doing so that you have the highest value hey Elliot how you
doing and what that does is it allows you to have the most impact
full-stop it's as simple as that which is why it's beneficial to subject line
must have an emoticon at least one minimum and when you so when your email
subject line must have an emoticon the body of the message if it has certain
visual points or things you want them to stop and look at bullets are nice but
use emoticons that represent a similar thing like the check mark or pins or
whatever and people will see those points and they'll stop and reference
what is next to them because because of our visual part of ourselves it actually
makes it very easy for to be read so that is an important aspect that I would
leverage to your advantage so whether your text mixed of text whether you have
an embedded video or obviously an animatic animated gif whatever you're
using with your email structure it's important to leverage them they are good
to see you it's good to leverage them to your benefit so what are you doing now
to improve the use of emoticons in your communication and while this is purely
focused on email marketing they couldn't hurt hey good evening hey what couldn't
hurt to also consider other avenues of communication that you could leverage
them so whatsapp text email etc etc I mean Facebook posts Instagram posts use
them however you want and leverage them I would not abuse them because they
actually have more value to you if you're not splashing the world with
emoticons a lot of people I'd have to say overuse them and they almost treated
like a little language the way I would personally suggest people use emoticons
is like swear words they are not something my phone is having an alarm
isn't that great hold on sorry guys I had an alarm go off
my phone ok is I would leverage the use of emoticon like a swear word in other
words sparingly strategically so don't does blanket silly little cute things
happy sad or sorry angry that wasn't said you know I'm sad well whatever the
emotional you know people use them they spray the world with them and they lose
their impact so your benefit with email is to have people read have people
actually get what you're trying to say you're trying to communicate something
usually it's not look at the pretty picture usually it's the pretty picture
helps me with this and it helps me relay that so stop abusing them and using them
as cutesies and you realize that they are an emotional tool to minimize Texas
length so you can do a short message with a lot of important value points for
you and what you're trying to share plus it allows for so it allows for minimal
spaces or works for something like Twitter and all that but but also more
effectively is people will kind of naturally digest the information and
evening it on top good to see you and so that's critical so please don't
abuse them leverage them when you need to but don't blanket your text email
whatsapp's because again they won't have the value so if you've ever met someone
who swears all the time Oh eff this and f that and well that's great for them
that salty language that colorful language I have to say B is unnecessary
and it doesn't have the impact so people like what's up with him all he does is
swear whereas someone who only swears when it matters you listen to them you
like man you know boy they're really they were really pissed off I've never
heard them talk like that do you guys know that person so it's important that
you don't abuse these things for exactly that reason so think of it as swearing
obviously it's an analogy so what questions do you have I'd love to hear
your feedback from this let me say briefly about the email marketing
workshop if you look at the bottom eye screen on Facebook's are those guys an
Instagram you can't see it but it starts in 10 days and 15 hours it is on the 7th
of July which is a Saturday than Val Park Shopping Plaza and the Panamera
office it starts at 9 a.m. and ends at I believe to 9:00 to 2:00 I'm not a
hundred percent positive but it could be nine to one but pretty sure it's 92 and
the total investment is 600 tt 300 down 300 balance there is an online payment
option and I don't remember the exact US figure so forgive me but but when you
register so I'll put the link in the email thing here and you can click on it
and and guys you on LinkedIn you can you can click the link or just direct
message when you say hey John I really want to sign up for this class I'd love
to have you there and I'll send you the link and once you get it you'll see all
the payment options and all that you can make a decision whatever is easier for
you let me know what questions you have we're gonna go over a lot in the email
marketing workshop but let me know I'd be happy to help you in serve you in any
way have an awesome night take care bye bye

How To Use A Phaser Effect 2018 - Tutorial (Explained + Examples) - Duration: 3:52.
If you want to give some life and motion to your sounds, phasing does a good job at turning
a longer plain sound into an interesting one.
[Phasing Example]
Trust me, that's not it's only use, so stick around to find out what everything does,
and what it makes things sound like.
[How To Use A Phaser Effect]
Hey, everyone, I'm Jake from Transverse Audio.
Phasing is a powerful tool for sound design but can be a bit intimidating at first.
What I'm about to show you will get you past the confusion and you'll be well on your way
to designing better sounds.
The first thing that should be pointed out is that a phaser is made up of a series of
notches in a frequency spectrum.
You can think of it as a progressive equalizer that automates frequency cuts by using an
internal LFO (or low-frequency oscillator).
To put it simply, you can't hear an LFO since it's a very low-frequency waveform that acts
like an automation clip.
In fact, these things are usually below 10 Hertz.
Humans can typically only hear down to about 20.
The center frequency is the frequency that the phaser will be revolving around.
This parameter determines where the middle of the phaser will be on the spectrum.
This will shift all notches either up or down in frequency.
[0-100 center example]
Now, all of these notches can be pulled close together or spread apart by using the spread control.
The closer they are, the more obvious of an effect it will have, like this.
[Low to high spread example].
To create an offset of the center frequency for the left and right channels,
you can widen the stereo image with an LR (left-right) offset.
[0-100 stereo example].
This simply sends different phasing signals to both left and right channels.
If your phaser comes with a width parameter, it will typically change the effect from mono
to stereo sounding, like this.
[0-100 width example].
You can change the frequency of the LFO in the phaser effect by using either a parameter
called LFO Rate or Sweep frequency.
[Low to high rate example].
Some plugins will come with an LFO gain option as well, simply setting the amplitude of the LFO.
At zero it turns the LFO off and as you move it up, it will make the LFO more noticeable
[0-100 gain example].
Feedback determines how much of the output is fed back to the input.
This creates resonance peaks in the spectrum allowing you to give the phaser a resonating sound
[0-100 feedback example].
If your effect comes with stages like this one,
it will change the number of stages the effect will have.
This will determine how many notches are made in the spectrum by the phaser and there will
typically be half as many notches as stages.
For example, if the number of stages is set to 8, it will have 4 notches.
[8 stages example].
[Increasing stages example].
The dry and wet values on pretty much all effects control how much of the effected signal
will be mixed with the original dry signal.
In this case, it will also change the phasing depth.
[0-100 wet example in Sylenth1]
[min / max depth on fruity phaser].
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on the Phaser effect.

5 Tips to Help you Take Care of Yourself *First* - Duration: 20:55.
hello hello I'm going live in a couple streams oh hello hello this is John
Ruman thank you for taking the opportunity to say hello to me this
evening I want to if we have not in met each other my name is John Durham and
I'm an international business coach and consultant and I'm actually having a
course on stress management and what I'm talking about that I are five steps to
help you reduce your stress and to help yourself first I reference the idea of
having a oxygen mask if you've been on the airplane and I'd like to give you
these five pointers and then a few minutes in I actually have a handful of
people who have been so amazing and have helped me in coming up with other
amazing ways that you can help and love yourself and I will use what they say in
this talk as well so those who did participate in that I really want to
thank you for that and one of these lucky amazing people will win ironic
John will win the the free pass for the actual workshop that is happening on
Saturday so so let me tell you the five steps first and onion and then I'm going
to jump into the other five that I have made and then I'm going to jump into
what a handful the people that contributed made and then we're gonna
take our lucky winner so Ronnie you're on Fuego by the way good to see you
again okay so these are five steps that I feel
will help people to be taking care of themselves first a lot of people a lot
of women to be honest because they're so loving and nurturing and caring will
often take care of others before they take care of themselves and the
challenge with that many of you out there women watching is you don't give
yourself the love and attention you need unfortunately here's what also happens
be at the same time men who have responsibility for the family will wear
themselves down as well they'll literally work themselves sick and the
women will too don't get me wrong so what I would like and encourage all of
you do is to listen very closely to let's say listen very closely to what
I'm asking and offering because I would highly encourage and actually suggest
and truly advise that you find things that you can do such as these or others
that help you to take care of yourself first because once you take care of
yourself and you're strong you're powerful and you're confident and all
those things are working out well for you at that point you can be a best
service to the world so I'll tell you a personal goal of mine my objective is to
help 1 billion with the beat people across the planet feel that they can
literally be do have anything that is John's vision for his life if I get sick
every day and if I don't exercise and if I don't eat well and all those things I
will not be in my greatest capacity to give to this world and I love doing this
so I'm not working right now I'm happily Jenner
truly serving one and when I do this this is a lot of fun ok so let me tell
you my five first of all you need to know what area or areas and I would
encourage you to pick one that you feel highly insecure inadequate in it could
be finances it could be exercise it could be diet I don't know what it is
what do you have is a common science security or high weakness or what is the
big problem and in for ease for just the sake of argument I would encourage you
to pick one of these and the reason why it's good to pick one is it's not
overwhelming and then you can kick butt move forward feel better and then you
can conquer the other ones later so what is the first thing that comes to
your mind when it comes to what's my big problem you know and if you're alone
please blurt it out and I want to tell you whoever you are and whatever you
blurt it out in your head or out out to the world
most people many people have exactly the same problem so it's great is you're not
alone so with that in mind this is still part one I want you to ask yourself and
say what can I do with what this is to create victory victory victory mindset a
lot of people become a victim in whatever the big problem is in their
life so I'll take a common one I hear daily when I coach people and that is
finances so what I would say is what can you learn do change like what behavior
are you doing that's making you not where you want to be what are the things
that you could learn that you could become better at that would make you
more financially sound maybe talk to a financial advisor maybe stop spending so
crazily maybe save a little first before you spend any money because there's
something called Parkinson's law which has nothing to do with the the physical
illness but it has to do with the the fact that you'll spend whatever is
available so if you shorten the amount of what is available you'll deal with
whatever it is that is left and make best do with that so what I would
encourage you to do is take one step forward now so whatever your problem is
and say I'm going to do this that's part one and once you take that step that one
thing may truly break you out of that existence that is the old you to become
this amazing awesome version of you okay number two I'm gonna move five minutes
that's it not I wanna run a marathon not
I'm gonna run a mile five minutes of movement
I would encourage a walk if you don't live in someplace that's safe do
something in the house that moves for five minutes it doesn't have to be
crazily high-intensity it really doesn't the important thing is is you feel more
out of breath than norm you normally do you will naturally with a five-minute
regular practice of this literally I promise you you will because five
minutes is so easy you will actually do this easier in using user as time goes
on so what that means is next time it's cake and the beauty of that is once it's
cake like I'm doing this let's say it's walking you may take a slide job or you
may double it ten minutes it doesn't really matter
start super small super easy and then take those steps and that's it say
that's my commitment I'm gonna walk for five minutes and if you can't do that
then what I would do is actually go to like the YouTube channel that does
fitness for five minutes nothing too hardcore because trust me you can kick
your butt in five minutes do not make that the five minutes so do that
movement increases the way you feel it strengthens your brain it increases your
body and how you feel in yourself it really will change that but a lot of
people live in high stress and they don't know how to change the way they
feel okay three ask for help from someone else or a hey it's Remax what's
up guys it's probably Gabby or it could be Roger
what's up with that I would ask you to ask someone to help you support you in
return you'll support them with whatever their issue is it's actually not the
hardest thing people love helping others so all you have to do is say hey here's
my problem I've committed to five minutes of whatever it is this has
nothing you have five minutes X that's by the way this could be hey Chris this
could be quite simply you committing to focusing on your finances for five
minutes a day just knowing in your mind where the numbers are or as I said maybe
putting aside 10% for yourself before you spend it all whatever it is so so
take a step commit yourself to take that action find someone who will support you
if you don't have someone reach out to me this is what I do all day and
coaching okay so make sure you add return the favor though if it's not
someone like me with me you exchange the money but for them you can exchange the
time to say hey I'm going to call you everyday and we can do it across
accountability partner system okay number four I want you to leverage the
idea of two concepts in one what is Law of Attraction I'm sure everyone here has
heard a lot traction the secret all that and it's a universal law that the divine
that the cosmos the universe really will conspire to help you but we are also as
a human structure designed for it and there's something I'll often teach a
class called the amygdala which is part of our old old old deep-rooted part of
our brainstem and what it does is it helps us to filter what we see and
experience so the reason I bring this up I want you to appreciate what's working
well so please take a moment as you're working through this big challenge you
have the number the part one of what we talked about and take a few minutes to
write 10 to 20 I would encourage 20 things that you appreciate that happened
that day that moved in the direction of where you want to be and what this will
do is will slowly program your mind to believe it's possible and then you'll
actually begin to get momentum last but not least time for you why is this
important and and a lot of people just say I don't have time for me listen the
five minute walk I did gave you or five minute exercise routine could be time
for you maybe even asking for help may be a time for you but I want you to
really truly do something that you want to do for you on a regular and
consistent basis of you some examples dance paint meditate go for a walk write
read a lot of people only don't need give themselves time to read a book cook
if you're a cook person any of these or more so and with that what I will do is
I will go to what people who actually answered for them what was something
they would do to make themselves feel a sense of well-being and stress relief so
and then I'll actually summarize and then we'll pick our winner for
Saturday's workshop so let me briefly go into this so Amanda said taking deep
breaths in and out which has a wonderful calming effect in the body Thank You
Amanda for that nirisha said enjoying the wonderful colors of evening sunsets
sunsets and sunrises are truly a blessing and if you have the ability to
be easily seeing them I would strongly encourage you do this because it's
something that people don't take in very often many people and it really can be
very very even spiritual but I would say just highly moving movement or moment
for people very powerful okay listening to music says Jesse perfect
hey Nadia Nadia excuse me so listening to music music is a very
very popular way to make you feel good and reduce stress so I think that's
perfect sitting on the beach and watching the
waves crash says Jose Ann Joanne's excuse me
very very very wonderful soothing thing and the great thing about the beach too
it has all the free ions which will which will actually calm you which is
the grounding thing if you saw my grounding video before I go into that in
depth and I'll do two more so doing yoga or meditate to relieve stress
very nice watching birds flying from my porch that's a nice one I lied I'm gonna
do one more and Sean said I love to dance and I paint so I think that's
wonderful so I'm gonna rehash these so the first
find something that you have a big problem with now and actively take one
action on the regular consistent basis that will help that progress out of that
so you're not I'm in this state to move your body when your vital moving your
body you will feel more alive and vital ask for help and support this could also
be viewed as an accountability partner find an accountability partner so when
you do these things you feel more alive write down what is working this you can
call an appreciation or gratitude journal take whatever it is you're
trying to go towards and write 20 things that work towards it trust me it's magic
do not type this do not voice dictate this physically write down with your
hands there is a connection that happens trust me I've tried them all
and there's no nothing that compares to writing them down it connects with some
part of your brain and it's very magical very powerful and last but not least
make sure you have actual time for you so these are five things that you can do
now that will reframe and shape the way you feel that yourself and it's you
putting the axe oxygen mask on you so you're not giving it away and you're not
letting the beautiful gem and amazing person and spirit that you are be
stifled because of things getting in the way so again those of you who did
contribute to this drawing I want to take a moment again to appreciate you so
I have the sheets here oops they are not in any particular order they're all
folded because a few these people I know well and I can't give any preferential
treatment okay so they're holding right here we go the winner is for the stress
relief workshop this person gets a free tickets value of 125 175 depending if
they were going to pay early or not Candice
to sont or to st. i'm not really sure how to say it
congratulations Candice thank you so much Candice for participating for those
who unfortunately didn't win I still honor and appreciate you taking the time
to do that you made today's live and talk that much more vibrant and honestly
it's nice to think what am i doing to make my life feel that stressful so I
would still love to have each and every one of you at the workshop on Saturday
so let me give the details and we can go over that and and let you know if you
forgot all the details so it's Saturday this Saturday the 30th it is in Santa
Cruz Green Market starting at 11 a.m. and I actually have some stuff here
starts at 11 a.m. and it ends at 12:30 p.m. and there's two costs if you pay
before the actual date it is one two five one twenty five tt if you come in
day out whatever you want you're welcome to do that it's 175 TT I do start on
time if you do not know where you're going and you think you are going to
come please save my mobile number seven four four eighty five fifty five it's
all over the place whether you're watching me on Instagram or Facebook and
shoot me a whatsapp text call whatever I will be there or someone will be there
to help you if I am NOT and it's gonna discuss three primary things so we will
discuss two techniques that one is for really really high stress like oh my god
I'm freaking out like you feel it and you feel major physical reactions to it
that's called EFT or emotional freedom technique they also call tapping which
is kind of based off of Chinese medicine acupuncture acupressure points it's
something that people look at my say what the heck is that anyway that when
they do it it kind of blows their mind because it's really really effective and
then the other one is called coherence which is a
heart centering technique which has been scientifically proven in study after
study to reduce the effects of stress people who have had the oppression
they've reversed it PTSD people who are veterans of wars have actually stopped
the physical impact of PTSD it's very powerful the effect that a client had
his description of it he probably is the highest dressed person I've met and and
his description is very simply it was John it's just like the start of a two
week vacation go into pigeon point pigeon points and tobago for those that
aren't in Trinidad or don't even know it if you're in Trinidad I'm Tobago and to
a vacation in Pigeon Point my wallet is full all all expenses paid vacation the
sandals must be built in his imagination and all as well and and that's the level
of and this is a guy who just he feels stress he's exceptionally stressful job
so that's that and then the third aspect we do is we have an actual workshop so
I'll actually take you through various aspects of your life and we'll discuss
well you actually personally brainstorm ways to minimize mitigate or eliminate
this or that stress and from there some people are open to discussing it if
you don't want to it's fine it's totally designed for you for you but it kind of
goes through all the primary areas of life to find out what is bugging you and
then what you can do to actually do it so you leave them you leave the workshop
with two powerful things two techniques that you can use you can actually teach
anyone they're really simple which is great highly effective and you actually
have a written plan for what to do with other parts of your life so it is an
active workshop now I was just John talking to you I don't do those it
doesn't entertain me I want to give you so much value that you tell all your
friends so please tell your friends share this live let me know if you guys
have any questions Margaret Ginsu men and I would love to see you there so

message I also love to hear your thoughts on my putting the mask on your
face first how do you feel about the how do people out those five ways to reduce
stress and the weight and improve the way you feel and kind of make you self
empowered and give yourself more self-love and Candace I don't know how
it's gonna look on the screen but congratulations Candace you're amazing

blessed day I'll see oppa I'll see a lot of you on Saturday

You must protect lives and properties - Buhari tells service chiefs in Plateau - Duration: 2:34.
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, June 27, directed security chiefs in the country to remain vigilant and ensure that the protection of lives and properties of the citizens in the country is not taken for granted.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Buhari gave the directive in Jos, Plateau, at an interactive session with stakeholders in the aftermath of the recent killings in some communities in the state.
"I will continue to pressurise members of the law enforcement agencies directly under me by the constitution as the Commander-in-Chief. About eight days ago, we had five hours security meeting of the service chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
"What happened here in Jos is very bad. The question of leadership, from your household to whatever you are, is justice. The bottom line is justice.
"That is why wherever I go, I will always appeal to the leadership of the communities, the law enforcement agencies to always have control of their constituencies,'' he said.
The president condemned the latest clashes in Plateau, which left scores dead, the president condoled with the affected families, the Government and people of the state.
we learnt that Buhari, was accompanied to the meeting by Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau and his counterparts from Kebbi and Niger states,. The president appealed to Nigerians to avoid inflammatory utterances that endanger peace or promote conflicts.
He said: "Whatever is being given to the media, we have to be very responsible about it.
"Take for instance the situation in Benue. The Benue subsistence farmer knows that the Nigerian cattle herder that he knows doesn't carry nothing more than a stick, occasionally sometimes something to cut grass to feed his cattle.
"But the present herder, I am told, carries AK47 and people are even blaming me for not talking to them because maybe (they say) I look like one of them. "There is some injustice in these aspersions.

Content Planning: Building a Long-term Vision for Awesome Content - Duration: 9:56.
Before we begin, let's take a moment to revisit the buyer's
journey. The buyer's journey has a similar corresponding
marketing funnel, and when both are used side-by-side, I like to
call them the "marketing machine." The marketing
machine relates each buyer's journey stage to a corresponding
marketing funnel stage; the awareness stage relates to visit
and lead, the consideration stage relates to marketing
qualified lead, or MQL, and sales qualified lead, or SQL,
and the decision stage relates to opportunity and customer.
These funnels are designed to help you visualize and guide a
prospect through the stages of the buyer's journey so that
you can effectively measure your funnel and provide a tailored
message to that prospect at their particular stage in the
buyer's journey. It's important to understand the
relationship between both funnels because they're
working toward the same goal; attracting your prospects,
converting them into leads, closing them into customers, and
eventually delighting them, turning them into evangelists. A
marketing machine is not developed overnight. It takes a
lot of time and planning to build. This is where long-term
content planning comes in. So what's involved in developing
a long-term content plan? There are three steps you must take to
create a long-term content plan; setting marketing goals,
auditing or assessing your organization's initiatives and
assets, and identifying the buyer's journey for your buyer
personas. The ultimate objective here is to have a unifying
document you can use to keep track of your long-term content
marketing initiatives. First, let's talk about setting your
marketing goals. By setting marketing goals, you can develop
a long-term vision and short-term motivation. Goals
help you organize your time and resources so you can make the
most of your content creation efforts. Each piece of content
created for a marketing initiative should be tied to a
goal that's also directly related to the overarching goals
of the organization. This will help you stay laser-focused with
the content creation process. Let's take a second to think
about this. If your company's quarterly customer goal is 15
new customers and you know the number of leads needed to
generate 15 customers is 50 leads, and if you know the
number of website visits needed to generate 50 leads is 1,000
visits, then you need to take into consideration the content
needed to hit your visits goal. Each goal you set should be a
SMART goal. That is specific, measurable, attainable,
relevant, and timely. A potential SMART goal example
could be increase quarterly site visits by 20%. That's 5,000
per quarter to 6,000 per quarter by the end of the year. The
second step in creating a long-term content plan is
auditing or assessing your organization's initiatives and
assets. Your audit is going to consist of two parts. First,
auditing your content assets, and second, auditing your
event-based priorities. Let's begin with the content audit.
Your goal with the content audit is to identify all of the
marketing assets you have at your disposal and potentially
identify gaps or opportunities in your content strategy. There
comes a point for every marketer who has been generating content
for a while when they realize they have no idea where all of
their content is or how much they actually have. Content has
likely been created by you, your predecessors, or other
individuals in the marketing department, including subject
matter experts from other departments, and is scattered
just about everywhere. By doing your content audit, you'll be
able to identify resources that you already have, which could
save you hours of content creation time in the future. No
use in duplicating your efforts. When it comes to documenting a
content audit, there should be a place for you to insert all of
your assets and properly categorize them based on content
title, buyer's journey stage, marketing funnel stage, format
or type of content, which buyer persona this is targeting, and
any additional notes that provide value or context. Now,
it's time to do some digging for content assets, such as
guides, worksheets, or sales collateral. I'd recommend
systematically combing through the following dark corners where
content can typically be hiding, like that old file manager or
marketing folder on your computer. Ask your sales team
what type of collateral they use. Check in with the more
tenured employees (you'll be surprised at the wealth of
knowledge here). Pore through your customer relationship
management system, also known as a CRM, and your content
management system, also known as a CMS. Okay, I think you get the
picture here. Let's take a look at a content audit from a
HubSpot customer by the name of Maren Schmidt. Maren offers
advice and resources backed by more than 30 years of experience
working with young children. Notice how Maren already has
content spanning the awareness, consideration, and decision
stages of the buyer's journey for multiple buyer personas, and
each piece of content corresponds to a specific
lifecycle stage. Additionally, Maren has many different types
of content formats to offer her buyer personas, like an ebook, a
study guide, and a webinar. Note how Maren uses the "Notes"
field to explain the contents of her content offer, though she
may not need this for each piece of content in her audit. Now
that Maren has documented her assets, she'll be able to
refer to this audit in the future to pinpoint what content
she already has and how it can help with future content
creation initiatives. The second part to completing your audit is
to conduct an audit on your event-based initiatives. What I
mean by this is you'll need to take into account any upcoming
projects, priorities, or events that might involve content
creation. Doing this exercise will help you identify content
that could support each initiative, but also, and more
importantly, it can give you an opportunity to see how you can
connect this content back to the buyer's journey through an
inbound marketing campaign. An event-based audit should be
organized by the following areas: upcoming priorities by
month, initiative overview, theme, prospective blog post
topics based on buyer personas, and an inbound marketing
campaign that ties together your efforts. Take a look at what
Maren did for her event-based audit. You can see that Maren
has a few events and workshops that she might need content for.
You can also see that the content is grouped into an
overall theme for the next three months with associated blog
topics that integrate with an inbound marketing campaign
called "Preparing Your Home the Montessori Way," which is
an ebook. Try and imagine for a minute if Maren only planned the
month, initiative overview, and theme without keywords and blog
post topics that associate with a relevant inbound marketing
campaign. Yes, she would have noted that there are a series of
events coming up in the next few months, but she would have
missed out on the opportunity to tie everything together with a
series of blog posts that could lead to a relevant content offer
that would provide value to her marketing machine. Simply adding
these two columns maximizes your content potential and forces you
to think bigger than just the events at hand. There's one
last important step needed to create a sustainable long-term
content plan and that's identifying the buyer's
journey for your buyer personas. Remember, you're creating
content that's meant to attract and pull your buyer
personas through every stage of the buyer's journey: from the
awareness stage where it's more problem-based, through the
consideration stage where you're discussing a solution,
and ending in the decision stage where you're recommending next
steps. Simply identifying this content will give you ideas to
work with in the future. But before you can identify the
buyer's journey, you first need to know your buyer
personas. Keeping this in mind, let's take a look at one of
Maren's buyer persona's, Montessori Mom Meena. Here's
an overview of Meena as a buyer persona. Meena's a devoted
mother, a working professional, and married with at least one
child under the age of six. Meena wants to understand child
development and do what's best for her children, understand how
to set limits for behavior, and have effective communication
tools to use with her children. Meena's challenges are her
children won't listen and she has to deal with tantrums, all
of which overwhelm her as a parent. Maren knows that Meena
uses Google to find answers to problems she's looking to
solve. Great. Now that you know who Meena is, let's take
a look at what the buyer's journey might look like for her
in more detail. To start, you know it's important for Meena
to do what's best for her children, so what about an
awareness stage ebook that lists parenting problems you can
avoid. This is something that would bring value to Meena's
search. Then, once Meena's been educated on parenting
problems to avoid, what about following up with consideration
stage information like a questionnaire regarding family
needs to help her understand a possible solution - in this
case, Montessori. The questionnaire outlines both the
needs of the child as well as the parent. But maybe Meena
needs a little more information that will lead her to the
decision stage, something that educates her more on how to best
prepare for Montessori. What about a free consideration stage
workshop that explains how to prepare your home the Montessori
way? That could do the trick. And now that Meena has found a
solution to her problem, she's ready to make a decision. What
about offering Meena a one-hour strategy consultation to discuss
next steps for her child and Montessori? Sounds about right.
That's an example of a complete buyer's journey. A
buyer's journey is ever-evolving. The more you
learn about your buyer personas, the more you'll be able to
refine the buyer's journey and grow it over time. But it starts
with first identifying the content needed to complete the
buyer's journey, which you can then plan over the course of a
year to keep your content creation sustainable.

EP072: Turn Your Idea Into a Keynote Presentation - Duration: 7:01.
- What's the best strategy for taking your big idea
and putting it on the big stage?
How do you turn an idea into a keynote presentation?
Well, you have to put on a show, and more than one kind.
I'm Tamsen Webster of TamsenWebster.com,
and that's what we're talking about this week
on Find The Red Thread.
And if you're a fan of Find The Red Thread,
do me favor and like and subscribe.
(bright music)
First, what does a keynote do?
The answer: it sets the stage.
If it's an opening keynote, it sets the stage
for the rest of the day or the rest of the conference.
If it's a closing keynote,
it sets the stage for what to do next,
or even for the rest of your life.
In other words, a great keynote leaves an audience
feeling entertained and empowered to do something different.
And this is where aspects of show come in.
Because yes of course, we want people to feel inspired
and informed about something new
or a new way to see the world,
but we also need to make sure that that idea
is, in fact, implanted in their head,
and it's in there like some kind of alien
that they can't get out, where they can't unhear it.
And it's so powerful, in fact,
that inaction on that idea is impossible.
So how do we do that with a keynote?
Well, it comes down first to understanding
that we can only act on what we have.
And if we're talking about setting the stage for change,
the good news is that there are certain things
that we absolutely know we need to have
in order for us to be ready to do it.
And what are those things?
The answers to three pretty simple questions
that the wants to hear.
First, is this possible?
Is whatever you're doing possible?
Can I see that other people have done it?
Does it make sense to me?
Is it defensible?
Will it work?
And can you show me that it works?
Second, is it possible for me to do it?
So you may have shown me that it works for that industry
or that person or that it worked for you,
but have you shown me that it works for me?
Have I seen concrete examples?
Have you had me think through something
in a very personal way?
Have you had me share something
with one of my colleagues next to me
that makes me understand that yes,
I can in fact do what you have asked me to do.
And most importantly, the third piece, is it worth it?
So this may all be possible, and may be possible for me,
but ultimately I have to feel like
what you showed me is worth it to me.
Because you're asking me to change.
And if you're asking me to change,
there's got to be a payoff.
In all of these cases, it comes down to show.
We have to put on a show.
We have to show them that the answers to these questions
are yes, yes, and yes.
Yes it's possible, yes it's possible for you,
yes it's worth it.
And we need to show them in such a way
that makes that adjustment to the change
as easy as possible.
We have to, in the wise words of Mary Poppins,
give them "the spoonful of sugar
"that makes that medicine go down."
And ultimately, this is what great keynotes do,
and what great keynote presenters do.
They figure out how to show people the answers
to these very tactical questions about change,
while showing them in such a way
that makes that change feel as easy
and as inspiring as possible.
In all cases, I think that the Red Thread, in fact,
I know the Red Thread gives you the tools to do that.
Because when it comes to answering that question,
is it possible, that's exactly what those pieces
of the Red Thread are meant to figure out
and defend ahead of time.
Does this get something that people want,
that they actively know that they want?
That's the Goal.
Does it show them that the path to that Goal
is already within their current view?
It just takes a little bit different focus?
That's the Problem of Perspective.
Does it anchor all of this on
some fundamental truth about the world
that the audience already believes?
That's the Idea.
And do all of those those things add up to a Change
that seems reasonable given everything
that they've agreed to so far?
Hopefully, yes.
And are the Actions a direct extension of that Change?
All of those pieces should, put it together well,
show the audience that this is possible.
Now, how do you make it possible for them?
Well this is where some of the other
elements of show come in.
This is where things like stories come into play.
Where activities with the audience come into to play.
Where individual work and sharing
and group sharing can come into play.
And if you're thinking just in that moment, you're like,
"Well wait a minute, but there's not supposed to be
"like back and forth at a keynote,
"that's what a workshop is all about,"
I disagree.
Increasingly, I am seeing great keynotes engage the audience
in a very personal level,
and they can do that without it feeling like a workshop
because the idea is so big.
The other way that you can make sure
that you're getting people to that point of is it worth it,
is also built into the Red Thread.
It's that Goal in the first place
and that Goal Revisited that we talked about before.
And showing them that after they've walked
this path with you, they've achieved not only the thing
that they wanted when they came in, but something else.
All of these elements together come together to show
audience that they have what they need to do this.
That it's possible and it's worth it.
But in a way that makes it as easy for them as possible.
So there's a lot more to work on
with turning your idea into a keynote,
but that's what I'm here for,
so reach out to me if you want help with that.
But ultimately, we know that the answer for it
comes down to this: put on a show.
Show them that they can do this.
Show them that the change is worth it,
and show it to them in a way
that gets them talking long after your keynote presentation.
I'm Tamsen Webster of TamsenWebster.com
and this was a Find The Red Thread.
