hello it's me welcome back to another video from the video title you would
know that this whole video will be me being a zombie for one whole week
because that's what night shift does you good morning oh actually it's actually
it's actually 4:30 in the afternoon I think I woke up around 3:30 and I just
went on my phone because that's what I do
currently I am cooking myself some food so hard-boiled eggs and I'm just gonna
eat some left over from yesterday I actually it's gonna be so easy
just to be in bed and be on my phone like that's how productive I am some
days but I actually want to be productive this week and that's why I'm
filming because have you guys heard of the Hawthorne effect the Hawthorne
effect says that people in a study that know that they're being watched
actually do better because they know they're being observed and that's why
they perform better and I feel like that's what's gonna happen to me because
I know people are gonna watch this video and because of that I'm gonna be more
productive but anyway while the eggs are cooking I'm gonna eat my banana it looks
like really ugly because I've chuck it in the fridge so that it will stay
fresh longer but if you open it it's actually really pretty look it's not bad
yet so that's lunch for me some eggs some noodles banana and maybe some of
these it's I don't know what it's called it was given to us by Ray's family so
this is like kind of sweet so maybe that's for dessert and for dinner later
I'm gonna ask Ray to buy me some KFC because I've been wanting KFC for a very long
time now yesterday we were planning on getting KFC but we didn't because it was
out of the way and today I'm actually sore from yesterday's bike ride like my
legs are sore and like my shoulders are kind of sore so that's that that's
the price you get for being active hi I feel so much better now after
having eaten something and after having a shower so I have four clear goals for
today I need to pay my bills I need to read a book I need to actually finish
this book so I only have one chapter left so that's gonna be easy I need to
clean the bathroom and I need to finish editing this video because I'm gonna put
it up for tomorrow so after I've achieved all these four things I'm gonna
allow myself to stay in bed and not do anything I doubt that I'm gonna be able
to go back to sleep because like that's what my body really wants even though
like I've already slept for seven hours like right now like my brain feels like
I just need to go back to sleep but I also want to achieve these four things
so I'll try to do all of that and then do nothing
so I finished editing my video yay so this is my usual setup when I'm editing
I'm at the dining table with my laptop with my water I find that this is my
most productive space compared to when I'm in bed and editing I like this
better I'm more productive this way it is currently a 7:30 at night I'm really
happy because I got the two difficult things out of the way now I only have to pay my
bills and to read my book I have about an hour before he gets here I think he
gets home around 8:30 ish and then my KFC will be here it'll be dinner time
for me
hello it's the next day now I really want to be productive today just like
yesterday but I feel like I'm really gonna struggle today because I woke up
at 12:30 I was so gutted because it was too early
to wake up so I spent the next two hours trying to go back to sleep so that
didn't work and now I'm up I've already showered and I'm cooking because I need
to eat real food there's no like ready-to-eat food at home so this is
what I'm cooking I've chopped some of it some onions and garlic I've soaked my
clear noodles I'm cooking bam-e today but the tagalogs call it bihun but this
is my version I think the common denominator is just the noodles for me
I'm gonna use beef mince and for veggies I have mixed veggies that you can buy
because you know who got time to chop all these vegetables but I still did the
same thing I use the soy sauce to color the noodles and on top of that I use
sesame oil because I like the smell and the taste of that so I guess like I
shouldn't call it bihun because it's so different from a real bihun so
that's the only thing I got planned for today I haven't set myself any goals yet
because even with his first task of cooking I'm already struggling so
I'm not sure like maybe this might be the only thing that I'm gonna do today
I'm gonna cook I'm gonna eat and then do nothing
this is bubbles the cat say hi to bubbles she'll be my inspiration for
today because cats sleep for around 18 hours each day so this will be me sometimes
she doesn't like me but for some reason today she does
good morning today is so much more different than the rest of the days
because Ray is not working and he's taking me to lunch I was actually still
really sleepy it is 12:30 but Ray whispered some sweet words he said wanna
go to lunch and drink smoothie by the beach I'm like okay so that's where
we're going Ray's driving he should buy me lunch
but yeah it's really nice to go out on a weekday it's like a mini date because we
never do this we always go out on the weekend Ray wanna tell them about your
story well when you're driving here no not really
sometimes I can't be bothered making a youturn so I decided to take the long way to work
the view makes me feel like a millionaire sometimes the view makes him
feel like he's ballin' you get a shot of that I will look hey Hawaiian girl
hi we're at this bench we're just looking at the ocean living the bum life
this is the view it's so tall now what to do what to do what to do indeed Oh
well done this is what bumps do on a Wednesday afternoon I think this is the
time that Ray's gonna fail or not but he's close he's close to destroying
this thing you can do it babe you can do it oh my god stay still you can't do
that hey it's no where in the rules that says you can't do that it's like barely holding on I captured it too
delete it I don't want our children to see stop filming me I finished four
night shifts yay you can tell because of the eye bags on my face to anyone out
there who's a nurse or even other professions that work night shifts you
would know how brutal it is to your mind to your body sometimes after doing a
couple of nights I would be sick and this morning I was starting to feel
that my throat was getting sore and so when I came home this morning and I
slept I slept for a good nine hours I was so surprised I guess that's my body
saying that you need to rest even after driving on a night shift I
feel like I'm not the safest driver out there but anyway it's all good it's done
good thing that we had food so that I didn't have to cook so when I woke up I
just ate and initially I was also planning to film something today for my
youtube video like I sit down video but I've decided I'll just do that tomorrow
I'll just take it easy today I might film this video that you're watching
right now but that's it I've survived and this is my life after a night shift
and yeah like I said I'm just gonna take it easy today I'm gonna go back to my
bed and rest you can tell the light is changing but this is me this is me
