How to Make Your New Years Resolutions Stick - Duration: 4:50.

Have you ever wondered why most New Year's resolutions fail?

Hi, I'm Stacey Berger here with Mastering Your Mindset. I am passionate

about you living a life that you love. Today I'm sharing with you three reasons

why New Year's resolutions fail. The most common mistake that I see when people

are writing their goals, when they're writing their vision, when they're making

their New Year's resolutions, is they write them in a way that's really called

an avoidance goal, versus an approach goal.

So an avoidance goal is something that you no longer want in your life. It's

what you're wanting to give up, what you don't want to be doing anymore, and we

write the goal or the vision focused on that. So here's some examples of what

that would be - I want to lose the weight, I want to get out of debt, I don't want

to worry anymore, I want to be stress-free, and with all of those things

there's still what we want to avoid in there. I don't want any more stress - we're

still using that word stress - and so what happens is as long as we're using the

word stress it usually creates an emotional response to that. So you're

thinking maybe more about the stress than the stress-free. And so an

avoidance goal would be, here's what I don't want in my life anymore. And

instead if you can look at that list and reframe it into what do you want? So if

on the what I don't want is I don't want any more back pain, I don't want my knees

to hurt anymore, I want to get off the medication - instead, an approach goal

would be I wake up and I move with freedom and ease, I'm playing with my

grandkids or my kids, I'm going skiing and doing all the activities that I love.

And so an approach goal is more what you're focused on creating in your life.

So instead of where are you coming from, you want to write those New Year's

resolutions and those goals in to where you're going.

So first reason New Year's resolutions fails, because of focusing on that

avoidance goal versus the approach goal. The second reason is we try to go at it

alone. So if you can imagine you're setting a new goal, you're setting a new

vision, a new resolution, something that you want to accomplish, but you've got

patterns and habits that aren't like that. And

oftentimes what happens is when we try to accomplish it on our own, even with

the very best of intentions, we find ourselves sabotaging our own results.

When you're on your own, it's very difficult to keep that accountability

and that momentum, and so having a partner in believing, finding somebody

that's willing to support you, to hold you accountable, maybe to achieve that

goal with you where you can work on it together, we're so much more likely to

succeed when we have a support system around us. So the third reason New Year's

Resolutions can fail is because there's really not that commitment. There's not a

burning desire. So it's more about wishing and wanting and hoping, without

it really being a full commitment. So how can you turn up the desire on your New

Year's Resolution? Think about why is it important to you.

So as you fast forward to December 31st 2019, and imagine yourself having

accomplished it. how is that going to feel? How proud of yourself are you going

to be? How will you celebrate? And now imagine if you don't do it, if another

year goes by and you don't accomplish that goal, how is that going to feel? So a

real strong commitment and decision, I'm doing this! Versus a when I have the time,

or wishing or wanting or hoping for it. So how committed are you to that New

Year's Resolution? So as you look at your New Year's resolutions and your goals

for 2019, make sure they're written in that approach manner, who is your

structure of support? Who is your support system to help you be accountable to

that, and how committed are you? And if you do those three things, you're

certainly going to increase your success in 2019. So comment below, what's one

thing that you're committing to in 2019, and as a community we'll support you in

reaching that goal. If this video supported you, make sure you like it,

to your success.

S2EP10 - How to avoid the death wobble speed wobble tank slapper - Duration: 4:47.

like what kind of candy canes have you been eating

this is cool

I can see the

whole thing that's why that's why they wear sunglasses

check this out

this is why they wear sunglasses so it doesn't look like you're looking in the

viewfinder

all right let's talk about something called a death wobble tank-slapper

or speed wobble it's basically your speed

too much play or movement in the

front end wheel bearings becoming worn lateral axle movement

tires are too flat or worn potholes uneven pavement wheelies

weight distribution are some of the some of the causes there's not really a great way to

stop the knee-slapper from happening other than you know maintain your bike

what happens is basically the front wheel and the back wheel are spinning at

different speeds this happens a lot with wheelies or your backs back tires

continuing to spend but when you come down off the wheelie the front tires

actually slowed down some so there's a difference between the two which causes

the front end the fishtail and also causes the back end to fishtail when

they start to fishtail in unison you start to swerve back and forth on the

bike and it causes your knees to just actually start slapping out left or

right imagine going down the the road and you're not doing the Willie let's

say you hit a pothole and your wheel comes off the ground or you hit a speed

bump or hit something spinning slower than the real world when it hits and

causes you to lurch forward so what they say is that you can do one of two things

you can either speed up so that your front and your rear tire begin to match

again and you want to look back so that the weights not on the front end the

other thing you can do is slow down so that it's putting more pressure on the

front end

when you're packing your bike make sure that you have even weight

distribution all the way across the bike like all the way around that depending

where you pack everything make sure that if you if it is something mechanical

that you get it serviced immediately the best way to stop the death wobble is to

prevent it in the first place so even weight distribution before you start a

ride and making sure that you properly maintain your bike making sure your

tires are inflated properly not doing anything stupid while you're

actually riding down the road

the other thing is to try and avoid obstacles

while you're riding down the road you can watch ahead and make sure that you

don't run into those issues if you notice that it is a weight distribution

issue after you've already taken off on your bike you can slow down pull over to

the side of the road and readjust the load itself this will help a lot when

you're traveling

please like and subscribe

it's the ground I think this is causing me problems that you're basically it it

doesn't it doesn't synchronize sync back up yeah that's fun

Incredible Like You Project Kit by Stampin' Up! - Duration: 4:08.

Life is busy. It can be hard to find time to craft. This is where Stampin' Up!

project kits come in. In this video I will be showing you the

Incredible Like You project kit. These project kits are awesome because they're designed to

make crafting fun and easy for you. All the pieces come pre-cut and are ready to

layer. You simply buy the kit, sit down and stamp, and assemble your cards.

This project kit comes with all the products that you see here. It makes sixteen

different cards of four different designs and it comes with the following

supplies. Pre-printed watercolor card bases that are cut and scored for you.

Coordinating laser-cut overlays, printed envelopes, glimmer paper accents that

come in four different designs. You have some leafy pieces two banners and a large

rectangular piece. Printed and silver foil die-cut accents. Grapefruit Grove

Baker's twine, Stampin' Dimensionals, adhesive dots, and some adhesive backed rhinestones.

And this kit also comes with a printed storage envelope to keep your

completed cards and envelopes in. The only other supplies that will be needed

are the Incredible Like You stamp set a Coastal Cabana ink pad a Lovely Lipstick

ink pad and multi-purpose liquid glue. The project kit does come with adhesive

dots but the multi-purpose liquid glue will be helpful in adhering your layers

and the twine. The stamp set can be found on page 21 of the Occasions 2019

catalog and the ink pads and adhesive can be found in our Annual 2018 catalog

Here's your first sample, and here are all the components that you need to make it.

I'm going to start by inking up and stamping the "I just adore you" sentiment,

and then I'm just going to build my layers. This card you're going to put the

glimmer paper on the base layer the laser-cut overlay, the die-cut printed

accent, and then I'm going to add some dimensionals on to the sentiment.

Place that right on top and tie and adhere a bow right in the corner.

Here is the second sample. When layering the pieces together

I would suggest gluing all of these pieces and the ribbon directly to the

back of your sentiment. And then you can just glue the flowers with their

rhinestones right on the border.

Here is the third sample.

When you look at the card it's just a bunch of different bubbles and then when you put

the laser cut and you layer it right on top you get a bunch of little lemons and

limes and just adorable. And here's the fourth and final card in the kit. This is

another one where the laser cut overlay lines up perfectly with the watercolor

printed images beneath. Each kit comes with a set of printed visual

instructions that includes the length to cut the twine, and the different

components found on each card. Before you know it you're going to have sixteen

beautiful cards. Pair them up with their envelopes and tuck them away in their

storage container where they will be ready to go for you whenever you need them.

You could gift this as a set or just break it out and use them individually.

I love how these cards don't require any pre-work or preparation, and the final

product is absolutely stunning. To check out our full project kit offering be

sure to contact your local demonstrator or visit stampinup.com.

Thanks everyone! Happy stamping!

50 Insane Facts About North Korea You Didn't Know - Duration: 12:41.

You've probably already seen our first episode, 50 insane facts about North Korea.

Did you think we were done?

Not even remotely, this is after all the number one mass producer of crazy in the world we're

talking about, there's always something new and most likely insane to learn about the

hermit kingdom.

And with Dear Leader Kim and President Twitter Fingers potentially at each other's throats

again, we might as well learn as much as we can about North Korea before the nukes get

us all.

Hello and welcome to another episode of The Infographics Show- today we're taking a look

at 50 even more insane facts about North Korea.

50.

North Korea is the world's only necrocracy: a nation that is still governed by the rules

of a former, now dead leader.

Not to be confused with necromancy- that's when you bring dead dinosaurs back to life

with science to open a theme park for children.

49.

North Korea has conducted 5 nuclear tests since 2006, despite western intelligence agencies

doubting they would be able to achieve a nuclear breakthrough for another decade.

48.

Their last test in 2017 was of a device thought to be 100 kilotons and collapsed the mountain

under which it was tested.

47.

North Korea's nuclear tests have caused fear of radiation leaks being carried by the wind

to Chinese border cities and towns, which lie as close as just 60 miles from the North

Korean test site.

46.

Further underground tests are feared to cause a volcanic eruption at Mount Paektu, which

could be devastating for the North Korean and Chinese countryside.

45.

The largest stadium in the world is in Pyongyang.

The Rungrado 1st of May stadium occupies an area of 51 acres and can seat 114,000 people,

though has held as many as 150,000 in the past.

It is also known as the May Day stadium.

44.

In the late 1990s several North Korean generals implicated in a plot to assassinate Kim Jong-il

were executed in the stadium by burning to death.

43.

In 1995 the Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling and American World Championship Wrestling

leagues held the Collision in Korea pay per view event in the May Day stadium, though

its official title was the Pyongyang International Sports and Culture Festival For Peace.

42.

When not executing traitorous generals or hosting beefcakes fighting each other in their

underwear, the May Day stadium is best known for the annual Arirang Festival, or as it

is known in North Korea, the Grand Mass Gymnastics and Artistic Performance Arirang- because

North Korea loves being extremely specific about everything.

41.

Taking place annually between 2002 and 2013- with the exception of 2006- the games were

cancelled in 2014 but returned in 2018 under the name The Glorious Country.

Not enough adjectives if you ask us.

40.

North Koreans are handpicked to be a part of the Arirang as young as 5 years old, and

expected to serve in this fashion until retirement age.

39.

In August 2007 the Arirang mass games were recognized by Guinness World Records as the

largest gymnastic display with 100,090 gymnasts performing at once.

38.

Besides not starving to death, other popular sports in North Korea include football (soccer

for American viewers), basketball, speed skating, hockey, and of course gymnastics.

North Korea even has a small domestic football league that plays all its game in the Kim

Jong-Il stadium.

37.

June 25th is the start of North Korea's Struggle Against US Imperialism Month.

We bet you can't guess what the central theme is.

36.

North Korean propaganda routinely features fictional scenes from the Korean War of Americans

committing atrocities.

The Sinchon Museum of American War Atrocities commemorates the deaths of more than 35,000

people North Korea claims Americans slaughtered at the start of the Korean War.

A completely fabricated event, or fake news, it's unknown if the death toll of 35,000 is

greater than the US's Bowling Green Massacre.

35.

In 2014 Kim Jong-un described Americans as "cannibals and homicides seeking pleasure

in slaughter."

34.

In 2017 US President Trump took to the most hallowed of international diplomatic tools

known as Twitter and called Kim Jong-un "Little Rocket Man" and alluded that he was short

and fat.

In response Kim called President Trump a "mentally deranged US dotard" on a televised broadcast.

And that's how the world works now.

33.

Despite this exchange of nuclear insults, Kim invited President Trump to a face-to-face

meeting and removed a great deal of anti-American propaganda from their prominent displays all

over Pyongyang.

32.

After an initial bromance for the ages, things however seem to have cooled down considerably

and Kim Jong Un is widely reported to be secretly resuming his nuclear program while lying about

his intentions.

Foreign policy experts around the world were in shock at the revelation that a murderous

dictator who maintains his grip on power through fear and violence was not being honest about

his intentions.

31.

A key feature of North Korean propaganda is "on-the-spot guidance", a tool meant to

further the image of a caring, omniscient and great leader offering benevolent guidance

to ordinary workers and citizens.

Typically these take the form of highly choreographed visits to factories and farms around the nation

and serve to further build a cult of personality built around the Kim family.

30.

Every year state-owned publishing houses release several cartoons called geurim-chaek, which

mostly feature scheming capitalists from the US or Japan creating dilemmas for naïve North

Korean characters.

29.

In 2004-2005, North Korea aired a television program entitled Let's Trim Our Hair in

Accordance With The Socialist Lifestyle.

The show featured acceptable and proper hair styles and claimed that hair can affect human

intelligence because it deprives the rest of the body of nutrients as it grows.

28.

Another television program featured a hidden camera in Pyongyang which would catch citizens

with improper hair styles.

Those caught would be interviewed by the presenter and asked to explain themselves.

Their name, address, and workplace would then be announced to deter others.

27.

The North Korean village of Kijong-dong is situated along the Korean DMZ, and North Korea

claims it houses 200 families who work collective farms in the area.

However closer inspection with telescopic devices has shown that the brightly colored

buildings are empty, and don't have window glass or even an interior.

26.

The village, also known as Propaganda Village, is meant to entice South Korean defectors.

To date only a few dozen have tried to defect to North Korea, while many thousands have

fled to South Korea.

25.

In 2013 six men and one woman defected to North Korea after one of them posted a series

of pro-North Korea messages online which were shared by the country's main newspaper.

Thinking he would be welcome into the country, he and six others made the trek into the north.

24.

Upon entering the country, all seven defectors were thrown into prison for up to 45 months.

One man claimed he was kept in solitary confinement the entire time, and another of the men strangled

his wife and then tried to kill himself in a suicide pact.

North Korean officials claimed the woman died because of a "quarrel" with her husband.

23.

After being returned to South Korea, the survivors faced up to 10 years imprisonment for their

attempt to defect to the North.

22.

North Korea maintains a secret network of informants that spy on their fellow citizens

and reports criminal or subversive behavior, such as listening to non-state radio or tv

broadcasts or watching foreign films.

21.

North Korea's most popular tourist attraction is visiting Kim Jong-il's preserved body.

20.

It is a widely known fact in North Korea that Kim Jong-un learned how to drive at the age

of 3 and is a skilled composer and musician.

19.

Kim Jong-il's birth was prophesied by a swallow and signaled by a double rainbow over Mount

Paektu and the appearance of a new star in the sky.

18.

Kim Jong-il started walking at 3 weeks old and began speaking at 8 weeks.

17.

While attending Kim Il-Sung university, Kim Jong-il authored 1,500 books in three years

and composed six full operas.

The operas are naturally widely recognized as the greatest in the history of music- both

past, present, and future.

16.

Kim Jong-il also invented completely on his own a delicacy called Gogigeyopbbang', which

is described as 'double bread with meat'.

In the rest of the world it's called a hamburger.

15.

It is well documented that Kim Jong-il could control the weather with his mood, and that

he had magical abilities that helped him control the weather.

14.

Kim Jong-il holds the record for the best round in the history of the game, having shot

38 under par (25 shots better than the world record) and scoring 11 holes-in-one.

13.

Imperialist capitalist psychologists around the world claim that Kim Jong-il actually

suffered from the "big six" group of personality disorders, making him- paranoid, antisocial,

narcissistic, sadistic, schizoid, and schizotypal.

It's believed Hitler, Hussein, and Stalin also suffered from these disorders.

12.

Kim Jong-il was completely obsessed with his rice.

He made female staff inspect each grain individually to ensure they had the right length, weight,

and color, and insisted it only be cooked over a fire made with wood taken from trees

that only grew on a particular Chinese mountain.

11.

Recuperating from injuries after falling off his horse, Kim became so terrified of becoming

addicted to painkillers that he forced others around him to take the same dosage he did

so he wouldn't get hooked alone.

10.

In 2016 North Korea claimed to have produced a miracle drug made of rare earth elements

which could cure AIDS, most cancers, and destroy the Ebola virus.

Unfortunately for us North Korean scientists declined to share details about the ingredients

or how to manufacture the drug.

9.

For years North Korean propaganda claimed that the Dear Leaders didn't poop.

The poop-less image of the current Dear Leader, Kim Jong-un was shattered however when it

was revealed that he had a mobile toilet built into one of the vehicles of his personal convoy

for when he traveled around the country.

8.

Any other North Korean official found using the Dear Toilet would face severe punishment,

to include death.

7.

In 2012 the Korean Central News Agency informed the world that North Korean researchers from

the Academy of Social Sciences had discovered a unicorn lair.

The lair must not have been particularly difficult to spot as it was only 200 meters away from

a temple and featured a rectangular rock with the words "Unicorn Lair" written on it.

6.

Just days before the Unicorn story hit the international news, China's Communist party

newspaper ran a story hailing a report by The Onion naming Kim Jong-Un as the sexiest

man alive- not realising it was satire.

This is really why you need a free and independent press, guys.

5.

North Korea claims it has no citizens with disabilities, but defectors claim that officials

kill babies with disabilities and that men with dwarfism are castrated and forced to

live in an isolated village.

4.

When Kim Jong-il passed away, the Korean Central News Agency reported that ice formed over

a holy lake cracked, lights lit up the top of a sacred mountain, and snowstorms hit parts

of the country at the moment he died.

They also reported that flocks of magpies grieved in front of a statue of Kim Jong-il

and his father Kim Il-sung.

3.

In 2016 North Korea invented a new type of beer that wouldn't lead to hangovers despite

an alcohol content of 40%.

Sadly for frat bros around the world North Korea to date hasn't shared the recipe with

the world or given any hint it actually exists.

2.

In 2010 articles in North Korea claimed that Kim Jong-il had set a global fashion trend

with his modest gray suits, which "leave a deep impression on people's minds in the

world".

1.

A total of four US soldiers defected to North Korea during or after the Korean War, the

most famous of which was James Joseph Dresnok.

He became a national celebrity portraying American villains in various anti-American

feature films and television shows.

He died in November 2016 of a stroke, and told his sons to remain loyal to Kim Jong-un

and that they would destroy the US if it launched an attack against North Korea.

What other insane facts about North Korea have you heard of?

Did North Korea really discover unicorns, or is the Capitalist Imperialist New World

Order simply trying to diminish North Korea's glorious scientific advancements?

Also, be sure to check out our other show A Day In The Life of Kim Jong Un!

Human Resource Management 2 Developing and Implementing Strategic HRM - Duration: 2:50.

Hi, this is audio of the "How Would You Handle This Situation" for Chapter 2.

In this particular situation, there was a pay discrepancy, and two people were

hired, and they actually have exactly the same title, and they were hired by two

different managers, and they are both star performers, and yet they are not

being paid nearly the same with the same qualifications, and all that. So,

it ends up being quite a big problem for human resources to deal with when

this occurs, because it can be unfair if there is a pay discrepancy between two

people who have the same job and are relatively good performers. So you have a

few options here for this situation. The first thing is you want to look at

prevention, and by setting a pay scale which would just be a range that people

can be hired between, you actually eliminate this kind of problem when you

have two different managers hiring people. So, the first thing you'll want to

do to prevent it happening in the future is to make

sure that a specific pay scale for each job is set. The second thing that you can

look at doing is raising the pay of the person who's not being paid as much, or

of course, you can lower the person's pay who is being paid more. Of course, this

has many problems associated with it, from the aspect no one's going

to be happy if their pay is lowered, and it may cost the company too much if you

raise the pay of the other person. However, having said that, it sounds like

in this particular organization the pay overall needs to be looked at, and

possibly everybody's pay adjusted rather than just these two positions. So, as a

result of this, probably what I would do is go back and really gather some data on

the different salaries that people are being hired at, and really look at

changing the pay schedule altogether. With this particular situation being

ultimately the one that brought it to light, but it if there's a problem here

it probably means there are pay discrepancies in other jobs as well, and

should definitely be something that is looked at within the organization. And,

that's how I would handle this.

hi my name is bill today I'm gonna be showing you how to replace the screw on

your dishwasher door the reason why you might have to do this is we're gonna

screw they're damaged broken or missing for this repair we'll be using a

screwdriver with a VT 15 star bit warning before doing any repairs please

disconnect your power source so this is the dishwasher we're going to be using

for this demonstration it's a Whirlpool now keep in mind yours at home might be

a little bit different than what we have here but the same technique should still

apply also keep in mind we don't have a countertop for this so we're actually

using some weights to keep it weighted down so it doesn't tip over on us so you

might want to consider that when you're at home and if you have to take out your

dishwasher make sure that you're not doing anything to tip it over and make

it fall on you when you're doing a repair as well so the first thing we're going

to do is open up our dishwasher here so you'll see on our dishwasher door here

we've got several screws that hold the two sides together now on this side

we're actually missing a screw you're just gonna have to make sure that you're

getting the proper screw when you look this up because our screws on the end

here are actually a bit longer so you'll want to make sure that you're getting

the right part number because these are actually they have the same head and

Human Resource Management 3 Diversity and Multiculturalism - Duration: 2:12.

Hi, welcome to the "How Would You Handle This Situation" for Chapter 3. As

we've been discussing in this chapter on Diversity and Multiculturalism, we know

that this particular situation is possibly illegal and could raise some

red flags with the EEOC. For example, any post that says something like "recent

college grads" could ultimately result in age discrimination. So, we need to be

really careful about the way that we advertise jobs or even the lack of

advertising as we see in this situation. Ultimately, by not advertising the job in

this organization, you're leaving out a whole group of people that may be even

better qualified than the applicants that you do have. I think the first thing

that should be done in this situation is to speak with a manager about it and

explain the reasons why it's maybe not the best direction to go for the

organization. And, the second thing you'd want to do is take a look at the next

chapter, Chapter 4, and really look at how a recruitment

strategy could be developed to make sure that you're getting a very diverse work

environment. In other words, in this particular case it is definitely

unethical, maybe illegal, and more importantly you're really not getting a

good selection of people when you when you don't advertise jobs in the correct

way. We know that diversity is actually

something that helps the bottom line of organizations, so it's it's definitely

important to consider that and make sure it's part of all of the strategies that

an organization implements. That is how I would handle this.

Human Resource Management 6 Compensation and Benefits - Duration: 2:51.

Hello, this is the "How Would You Handle This" audio situation, and this is for our

chapter on Compensation and Benefits. In this situation, you've been working for

your company for five years, and you are promoted to sales manager after five

years of really hard work. And, one of the things that you need to look at doing is

developing goals for your sales team, and then ultimately create a budget based on

the goals that you have created. One of the things that you do is look at the

salaries of your sales staff to find any pay discrepancies, and you find that some

people who perform really well are paid much lower than some of your sales staff

who are non-performers. As you dig a little bit deeper, you see that this is a

problem not just with one or two individuals, but really a big problem

throughout the sales team. And, you are ultimately concerned about motivation

for your team members if they find out what other people are making. So, one of

the one of the ways that we can look at solving this is to change to a pay scale

system to ultimately normalize the amount that people are getting paid. Of

course the disadvantage to this is that some people could end up being really

unhappy if they do experience a decrease within their salary. Another thing we can

do is increase pay for those people who are paid lower and bring everybody up to

the level at the higher paid individuals. Of course, there's a budget consideration

that you would want to think about here. We could also just leave the system as

is, and hope that people don't have a discussion about their salary. Of course

the advantage with this, or disadvantage with this is, that there's an ethical

dilemma associated with that. And, what if people do find out that others are

making significantly more; that could affect the morale and motivation of your

entire team. The last thing we can look at doing is

keeping pay as is and implementing bonuses or profit sharing or other

methods that we've discussed in this chapter to compensate individuals. For

example, you may use this as an opportunity to completely overhaul the

compensation system and pay everybody a lower baseline salary, where most of

their compensation then comes on the amount of sales that they made. These are

just some examples of how you could handle this.

How to Enjoy Life - Duration: 3:31.

Are you looking to add more enjoyment to your life ?Well I'm really excited

because today, I have someone whose entire job is helping people enjoy life

more. So I have Carmen Farmer. She is an enjoyment coach and I've asked her to

share the the top three ways, the first three things that you should do to add

enjoyment to your life. Carmen share away. i think there are three main challenges

for people who want to enjoy life more than they already do.

The first is recognizing the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

And what helps with that is knowing what you really want. What do you enjoy? What

do you find fulfilling? What is essential to you? Until you know that, it's really

hard to add more enjoyment. And one action step that you could take is to

make a note .Write about what you want to change in order to make your life better.

Get it down on paper because otherwise it's just going around in your head.

The second challenge is believing that you have to wait until something else

happens. You find the ideal mate. You find the ideal career. You retire. You're

making more money. Whatever it is. You do not have to wait. Today, this very day, you

can start enjoying your life more. And what helps with that is defining and

taking that first action step. Again make some notes. Get it in writing.

Put it on post-it notes. Whatever you need to do. And then make a plan to work

on the top two things on your list. Don't have a list of 20 things that you think

you have to do right away. The third challenge is making your own experience

of fun and fulfillment in your life a top priority. Many people don't make this

a priority. And if you don't nobody else will. What helps is having support and

accountability in making a plan and executing it.

I suggest finding a coach or a friend or advisor, someone that you trust and like.

And asking them to support you to have a more fun and fulfilling life. And giving

them specifics about how they can help. Thank you so much

Carmen. I think all of us are looking forward to more enjoyment in our lives.

And I've got an accountability group that I tend, I usually have my business

tasks and now I might start adding some enjoyment or fulfillment tasks into that

group. So if someone were interested in hiring a enjoyment coach how would they

get ahold of you? Carmenfarmer@comcast.net is my email

off to the side then we're going to close up our dishwasher again and I want

to lay down a towel in front of our dishwasher just so we don't scratch up the

floor because we're going to be laying it down and we'll move it back a bit and

now we'll tilt the dishwasher back nice and gentle and now we're going to want

to unplug our heating element so these two wires down here unplug it and now

we've got two nuts as well that we're gonna have to remove so if they're tight

on there you're gonna want to use a 3/4 inch wrench or an adjustable wrench and

loosen that up or if you got it loosened up you're going do it the rest or by hand

loosen that up a little bit go on this side now we can set our dishwasher back

up again and open up our dishwasher again make sure that if you don't have

this in your wall or anything it's gonna have a tendency to tip forward so you

might want to use some kind of weight or something to hold it down while you do

this just to make it a little easier so now you can pull the heating element

straight up and out of the holes in the back there and remove it from dishwasher

now you can grab your new OEM replacement heating assembly it comes

with the heating element itself and two nuts and if you don't have one already

you can find it on our online store so now we'll put the heating assembly

back into place and underneath the arm right there and into the bracket that

holds it into place there and then finally back into the holes in the back

and once we have it in there make sure it's all push down and we'll close our door up and

we'll tilt it back again and now we'll put the nuts back into place and we'll

just screw it in and tight get it and just make sure you give it one more turn

with your wrench making sure not to over tighten it when you do it and same thing

on this side

and now we can plug it back in and now we'll open our dishwasher back up and we

can put our lower rack back in and once you've got the rack back in slide it in

Apple, Pear & Blackberry Crumble | One Pan Wonders - Duration: 4:31.

Hey guys welcome back to Chef-Development and today we're gonna be trying

something new for Chef-Development and that is: "One Pan Wonders" One recipe. One

pan and that is it. I'm going to start off with something very simple an apple

pear blackberry crumble, all made in one pan.

Now you can make this crumble with any fruit that you like. But for me nothing beats

the smell of a piping hot or autumnal fruits with hints of cinnamon and rich

buttery crumble filling the kitchen. Serve with a huge dollop of vanilla ice cream

or a generous pouring of thick custard. I challenge anyone not to be instantly

transported back to their childhood when eating this crumble.

Now I know it doesn't

need to be made in a pan, if you have an ovenproof dish in your kitchen use that instead.

But this is one pan wonders, I think you looks quite cool, so let's get down

to business.

So for this crumble filling you're gonna need two apples, two pears,

200g of blackberries, 1 lemon, 25g of brown sugar half a teaspoon of

ground cinnamon and quarter teaspoon of ground cloves.

For the crumble topping

you need 75g of unsalted butter, 25g of flour, 50g of ground almonds,

50g of light brown sugar, 50g of flaked almonds and 50g of oats.

To start our fruit filling what we're going to do is we're going to peel our

apples and our pears and making sure to remove all the skin. Then once all the

skin is removed then you just gonna top and tail the pears, just to make it a

little bit easier for you to cut them and you're gonna cut them down into

halves, into quarters and then start removing the core. Cutting it a slight

angle to remove the seeds and the fibrous core from the pear. You can repeat

this process with the apples as well cutting in half, in quarters and

removing the core in the exact same way. Then you're going to cut the fruit into

large chunks I normally aim for two centimeter pieces

but you're not running a michelin-star restaurant so it doesn't really matter.

A little bit bigger a little bit smaller it's not really gonna hurt them. Then once all

the fruits been chopped straight into a pan, along with your

blackberries, your light brown sugar, your ground spices and the zest of a lemon

and the juice of half a lemon

Then using your hands or a spoon mix all of the fruit together really well, you

just want to make sure you get a really nice coating of that sugar and those

spices all over that fruit, nice and evenly, any fruit that falls out just put

it straight back in again. Keep mixing until you feel that you've got a nice

even coating of sugar and spices all over your fruits. Once everything's mixed

together put the fruit to one side ready to make your crumble topping. Now to make

the crumble all you are going to do is put all those dry ingredients into a bowl

so the oats, the ground almonds, the light brown sugar

the flour, the flaked almonds and then finally our unsalted butter. Then we're
