Make sure that you do include your email

So that we can actually send you the gift card if you don't feel comfortable with doing that. That's fine

We can just DM you on YouTube or something

But yeah, so make sure you enter the giveaway and let's get straight into this. Now. You may have heard of the recent epidemic

involving iPhone batteries and people taking in their old phones and then replacing

Them with apple and then then giving them a brand new phone

because the battery was acting strange now Apple collects all of these phones that people have traded in and

They don't just throw them out. They actually

Redistribute them to people who can't afford their own iPhone

And the reason for this is because they want to get as many people as possible on the iOS

Ecosystem so that in the long term they can make more money and get some more customers

So obviously there's a little bit of a trade-off

Your iPhone has been used a little bit but it does still work and they make sure that the battery and everything

Has been replaced and yeah, so anyways, let's get straight into the tutorial on how you can actually do this

Now as you guys can see this is actually my iPhone X that I got from doing this as you can see

It looks pretty much brand new

It's space gray. It's super shiny. You can choose your own color and your own gigabytes

But uh, yeah, so this is my iPhone X and I'm gonna show you guys right here how you can get yours now

The first thing you need to do is be on either an iOS or an Android device

Alright now if you don't own any of those devices you can do this on a computer

But I do recommend doing it on, you know an apple or an Android device

so the first thing you want to do is you want to go over to your internet browser and

Then go over to the website speed hack scope now

This is the website for a whole bunch of hack tools

As you can see these are constantly updated and it is the best website if you want to hack anything in the world

Alright, sorry about that guys. My iPad just randomly disconnected from the Internet

anyways

as I was saying

Make sure that you add this site to your home screen right here so you can easily return to it whenever you want

this is to make sure that you can obviously, you know, come back and try the hack tools for yourself and

Experiment with all this stuff so that you basically just don't lose this site

Anyways, what you want to do is scroll down until you find it the free iPhone X section

Alright, I'm gonna go through all the steps with you. So the first thing you want to do is click use this and

Then you want to click let's go. It's just gonna give you some information and when you're ready, just click here and

it's going to take you to this official page by Apple and

It's actually hidden from Apple's main website because they don't want a lot of people to access this

so once you're here just go ahead and you scroll down and

As you can see there is only a certain amount of iPhone X's left. So make sure that you do this quick

So then you want to click get iPhone X?

And now here you can select your color you can do black or white now

Obviously, I already chose the black one as you can see I got this black eye phone X right here

So I can't actually claim another one, but I will go through the steps with you guys. So obviously choose your color

and then you can choose how many gigabytes now there's only

64 and 256 gigabyte models available. I would go for the 256 if it's available

It might not be but for me it is so I'm just gonna click that and it's gonna give you an overview of everything

That's gonna be in your cart. So just click Next and

now it's going to ask you for your name your email and

Obviously your shipping information now this just required so that it can actually ship it to you

If you don't feel comfortable of giving this out, you can always just put in a fake name or email or whatever

As long as your address is correct

Or you put in an address that you can pick up the iPhone because obviously you do need to pick it up

So I'm gonna put in my info right here

alright

So I have my shipping information in and now I'm going to go ahead and click Next

and this is going to bring us to be very

Final step as you can see it is submitting the information guys and we are getting our iPhone X right now

So let's just see what happens

And obviously this site does work because I have claimed an iPhone X before as you guys can see this beautiful space

Grey iPhone X and you can have your very own by completing the steps in this video

So now this is the last step and again, this is completely free. You don't have to pay anything

Alright, so there is a little verification step that you need to complete just to make sure that you are a human now

This is to prevent a box from going on Apple's site here and then just you know

Cleaning all of the iPhones and then reselling them obviously that did happen a lot in the past and it was a big issue

So you do have to complete it a little bit of verification again, it's free

It only takes about 10 minutes to do and you just want to click verify now

All right, and it's going to bring you to this offer wall right here

And all I need to do is pick two apps on this list

I only have one app so I only have to do one and

Install them and then open them for five minutes each as soon as you are done

Maths come back here and then it will take you to the rest of the steps

So I'm gonna go back for a second and show you

as you can see

These are all the steps that we are currently on

so we've already chose our model our color our capacity and

Now we are just doing the registration

And as soon as you're finished that it will ship the iPhone X for you guys and you will get it in the mail

Within a week as you can see I got my beautiful iPhone X Space Gray here

It doesn't come with any cases, but it it's still a free iPhone and it's it's really awesome

You know, it's a great phone and obviously, you know

If you guys want your own make sure that you check out the website speed hacks Co the link is on the screen

So you just go ahead and click it and you will also be down below in the comments section again

Thank you guys so much for watching this video. Make sure that you do subscribe

So you don't miss another video like this and I will see you guys next time also

You can only redeem one iPhone per household

So make sure that you tell your friends about this so they can get their free iPhone X's as well

How To Ask For A Raise! - Duration: 5:38.

Picture a very nervous seventeen-year-old Julia. My heart was

pounding my mouth was dry and my hands were sweaty because I was about to walk

into my boss's office and ask for my first pay raise. Somehow I managed to

negotiate my rate from $7.25 an hour to $7.75

10 years later when I found myself in a similar position you'd think I might

have felt a bit older and wiser going in but I didn't. Negotiating your pay isn't

something you get a lot of practice doing. And it's not like they teach it in

high school or college and most people don't even like to talk about how much

they make with anyone even their boss. A study in Australia found that only 48%

of men and 32% of women thought their pay was even up for discussion.

Your income is the most powerful tool that you have to grow your financial

stability so you owe it to yourself to exert some control over it

the first step in getting a pay raise is to decide to ask for one in a perfect

world your boss would notice all your hard work and say hey that employees a

real benefit to this company I should increase their salary and I'll give them

a company car and a corner office while I'm at it but this just doesn't happen

in the real world your boss might even recognize your value but he or she

probably has their own budget to worry about so they're unlikely to increase

their expense without you initiating the conversation

however before you do that you've got to prepare your case how are you especially

valuable to the company what achievements or successes have you had

recently have your responsibilities expanded beyond the original job

description any extra training or education relevant to your work it's

best not to compare your paid to other employees that's not considered

professional and don't include personal needs like my rent went up or my dog got

sick employers will only care about your individual merit and remember that just

with your job is not a good enough argument after all

you already agreed to do that when you first took the position you have to show

that you're more valuable now than you were when you were hired although you're

arming yourself with arguments keep in mind that it's not a battle replacing an

established employee is very expensive and time-consuming so if you're a good

worker your boss probably wants the same thing you do for you to be happy enough

to stick around unless they're an abusive jerk in which case would getting

a raise really make you happier maybe you should be looking for a different

job instead have a specific number in mind researchers at Columbia Business

School found that workers were more likely to get a raise if they asked for

a precise amount probably because they seemed more confident about their worth

but you do have to be realistic most pay raises are between one and five

percent and you can use websites like a pay scale or Glassdoor to find out the

market rate for your position in your area timing is key if the company is in

the middle of a big project and your boss is stressed out you might want to

wait for things to calm down before asking for a raise

plan your request soon after you've completed a big achievement or shown

that you can successfully handle more responsibilities and if you've recently

taken a vacation or missed a deadline you should probably allow some time to

re-establish a reliability asking at the right time will only make it easier for

your boss to say yes even if your employer thinks you deserve it they just

might not have the ability to increase your salary which is why you should be

ready with alternate options salary only typically accounts for about 70% of

employees total compensation which leaves lots of room on the negotiating

table for other benefits and perks and you can get creative there's gym

membership reimbursement professional development funding commuting expense

coverage more flexible work hours heck maybe it's just a cubicle that's as far

as possible from the obnoxiously loud co-worker come up with the top three

things you would change about your job and see if they're amenable when you've

got your presentation planned out it's time to rehearse the thought of

explaining why you deserve more money makes most people want to crawl under a

rock but it's important that you appear confident in your self-assessment so

have a friend or family member sit down with you and who doesn't get some

stumble through is out of the way the mirror isn't gonna cut it here you need

to sit across from a human being who can ask you questions that your employer

might bring up during your talk and don't ask for feedback from your

rehearsal partner until you've gone through it at least a couple times and

lastly be prepared to hear know even if you walk out of your boss's office with

nothing more than what you went in with it's not a defeat you have successfully

communicated your expectations about your career and shown your investment in

the company long-term trust me your employer will remember these things the

next time you're up for of you or a promotion becomes available you'll also

be giving yourself practice and asking for what you want something that is

difficult for a surprising number of people but essential to feeling like you

have control over your life ask my mother-in-law always says if you don't

ask the answer is always no so there's no harm in trying if you do it with

preparation and professionalism and you won't have to wonder whether you could

be making more and that's our two cents

you

Zone 2 TRIATHLON TRAINING: how fast can you expect when you change? - Duration: 11:41.

- Morning, Trainiacs, just cooking up my little

post-workout shake,

that was 3200 meter swim

in an hour and four minutes,

now that I am officially into the strength and speed

building phase of the year, kick the workouts

up a notch from the 25 to 2700 meter swims,

to a little over 3,000, and then in January

when we start getting into race season,

because my race season starts early, we kick it up

to around 4,000, oh sizers are loud in the morning!

All morning, every morning.

(techno music)

One of the things that's come up, over the course of the

Trainiacs virtual camps lately, is how important

zone two training is, and people have said, well,

how do I deal with zone two when on the run my heart rate

spikes higher, how do I deal with zone two in the pool?

Today, I'll explain how to implement zone two at the swim

the bike, the run, and what you can expect,

because you're gonna have a bit of a rude awakening

when you start doing zone two training, by the way,

zone two training, probably the most important training

you'll do.

Let's talk about zone two training.

I'll link to a couple videos that I've done in the past

couple weeks about just how important zone two training is,

but to touch on it for like, half a second, I'll explain

how and what zone two training is, how you can get it.

Alright, so this calculator here, that I've created

is a customized, Taren's-eyes-created-only,

like my version of how to figure out your zones.

It takes a little bit of some of the zones in running,

a little bit of the zones in biking, a little bit of

the zones in power, and perceived exertion,

and takes it all in, makes it very very practical to use

as opposed to a lot of those training zones that you get

that are just templates online that say,

oh, here's a percentage of your max heart rate, or,

here's a percentage of your heart rate based on your age,

which really aren't very accurate, but this takes

into account your individual FTP test,

your max heart rate test, your level of medication,

or injury, or how hardy you've been in training,

things like that, so it gets you a really narrow

and specific set of zones, and we use a five zone heart rate

system, that is the same for the bike, the run, and the swim

and I'll explain more about that.

You can get this by going to triatalontaren.com/hrtraining,

but I've expanded it from heart rate to also include power,

so go check it out.

Okay, so speaking about zone two training, it is where

you do the bulk of your training.

I guarantee that just about all of you are going to be

spending more time in zone three, you don't wanna do that,

zone two is just hard enough to create a cardiovascular

response where your heart and lungs get stronger,

you also burn a fair bit of fat, cause it's at a low

intensity, but it's not so intense that you're

digging yourself a hole, opening yourself up

for illness and injury.

Most people do most of their training in zone three

because it's really comfortable, it feels hard enough,

but it's like oh, hey, I'm doing a whole buncha work here,

but it's not so hard that it's making you fast,

so it's digging you into a hole, but it's not making you

any faster, it's also not improving your cardiovascular

system, so, it's this gray zone, is what it's called.

Zone two is where you want to spend, like I say,

about 40 to 50% of your time, somewhere around 20 to 30%

of your time in zone one, and a total of 20% of your time

in zones four and five, because those are really intense,

and they are fast enough to actually make you faster,

and stronger, so like I said, you can get this,

and all of this customization

at triathalontaren.com/hrtraining, but when it comes down

to actually doing the work, that's where I started

getting a lot of questions, over the course of this

training camp, I'll explain.

So as the trainiacs from the virtual camp

started doing some of the prescribed zone training,

a bunch of questions came up, first off,

how in the world do you run in zone two,

most of the athletes weren't able to keep their heart rate

low enough to actually stay in zone two, and that's

really, really natural.

What we've done with that calculator is,

we've set the cap of zone two a little bit lower,

so that it actually is harder to keep your heart rate

that low, and the reason for that is because running is

so corrosive on the body that we want to be extra cautious,

and make sure that we aren't getting ourselves into that

gray zone training, which is really hard on our muscles,

our cardiovascular system, our neuromuscular system,

so we back off a little bit, with those customized zones.

On the bike, it actually should become fairly easy to stay

in zone two, however, it's not gonna feel very difficult.

The first few times that you bike and run in zone two,

it's going to end up being fairly hard,

especially on the run, to keep your heart rate under there.

On the bike, if you start spending that 40 to 50%

of your time in zone two really working on strengthening

your heart and lungs, you're going to find that

all of the sudden it starts becoming easier to access

that low heart rate, and that's the whole benefit,

of this, is that right now, if you start running

and all of the sudden, boom, your heart rate goes up to

150 beats a minute, and you're really not even

running that hard, that means that you have a ton

of potential to improve, because you aren't even able to

access your lower heart rate.

You know, have you ever watched any of those

Lionel Sanders training videos, where he's like "(gasps)

"Oh my God, my heart rate was like 150 there!"

That's that low, at his absolute crazy maximal efforts,

because his cardiovascular system is so well trained

that he doesn't blow himself up and get into the redline

very often, and he's accessing more of those

lower heart rates, so, it's important to stay in zone two

however, for four to five weeks, it's gonna take

a quite long adjustment period that's not gonna feel

very intense, here's how you can make it intense,

whether you're on the bike or the run.

Number one, if you're on the run, you can end up playing

cadence games, so it'll probably force you to slow

your pace right down, but you can slow that pace down,

while trying to keep your cadence fairly high.

Keep pushing that cadence up, it's probably going to

shoot your heart rate up, a little bit, that's okay.

You can also then, start nasal breathing.

Nasal breathing instead of mouth breathing

has really big cardiovascular benefits, I'll talk about that

another time, but it is also going to make it hard,

so maybe you do three minutes nasal breathing,

three minutes mouth breathing, with low cadence,

three minutes mouth breathing with a high cadence,

and keep cycling those through, whether you're on the bike

or on the run, it's going to break it up instead of just

saying, alright I'm gonna go do 80% of this 60 minute run

for 48 minutes, I'm just gonna be in low zone two training.

Super, super boring, but with this, it breaks it up,

and it keeps you mentally engaged, because there's

more things that you're working on, and, they are

really beneficial things.

What about on the swim?

People say, well, should I stay in that 80-20

where 80% is that low intensities in zone one and two,

and 20% is in the high intensity, well, two things, one,

because of the hydrostatic pressure, the water crushing,

essentially, the outside of our body, it's hard for our

heart rate to get high, as it is.

You can go and max out in some water running,

and your heart rate might only get to about,

say 140, 150 beats a minute, that is going to have

a lower amount of stress on our body.

Second thing is just in general, because there isn't so

much pounding, and there isn't so much corrosiveness

on our body in the swim, we can up the intensity and not

really worry about getting into those gray zones,

or those really difficult zones that are, are

hard on our body.

If you think about how often young elite swimmers

are out there training, they're probably training 14, 15

times a week, and they're training really intensely,

but it's not like it's over training them, rarely do you see

an over trained swimmer, so don't necessarily worry

about that 80-20 too terribly much on the swim,

so stick to the 80-20, doing a good chunk of your training

in zones one and two, for the run and the bike,

also, play those games to break it up,

so it's mentally engaging, don't worry too much

about that 80-20 on the swim, and then, what can you

expect, be patient.

Somewhere around, I would say, four to five weeks,

if you are being patient, you are sticking to 80%

of your efforts being at lower heart rates,

you're gonna find very quickly, and this is the time

to do it, in the season, that your pace is going to increase

at the same heart rates, at the same perceived

exertions, your heart rates are going to be lower,

which is then going to result in,

when you hit that 20%, it's gonna be (claps hands) bam!

Really fast, because you've been fresh, not training in

that gray zone, that's just digging a hole for yourself,

so that's going to then result in when you're trying to be

fast, you are going to be much faster, than if you had done

a whole bunch of gray zone training, and that is going to

allow you to get really fast.

This is why you can see person after person after person,

racing year after year after year, doing all the training,

and not getting any faster, and not really making

any improvements, and even getting injured,

because they're doing a ton of their training in zone three,

not enough in zone two, and when they wanna go hard,

they don't go very hard.

So, trainiacs, if you wanna get that spreadsheet,

like I said, go to triathalontaren.com/hrtraining,

also, this is something that we talked about

for probably three to four hours, over the course

of the virtual camp, so it's a really big topic,

let me know your questions about zone two

and just zone training in general, how we balance

that 80-20, zone two, zone three, zone four, zone five,

all of those things, let me know about them

in the comments below and I'll probably have to do

more videos...

Later, trainiacs.
