Waching daily Jan 29 2019

everything that's been built to this point has not been from any money an

advertiser so imagine if we did so I'm gonna fully

equip into place what I tell everybody to do I've done so much testing out over

the last bunch of months and bunch different places and I want to run so

many different ad is something you'd replace into so many different

demographics tundra dollar Mouse everything

just a quick little filming this morning with our good friends over right East

Coast facilities now I'm headed to a meeting I'm always intrigued to find

people that like really want more views on their YouTube videos and views on

their like social media in the personal brand yet they're afraid to blog in

public because like why would you be afraid to vlog in public if you actually

want to Ashley that's always been weird

great meeting with Rob I didn't get a chance to introduce you to Robert Rob's

a commercial real estate agent in the Allentown area and we connected a

LinkedIn and it's always cool to connect the people that are super local to me

but I came across on LinkedIn it's like this weird like hey you're right down

the road stuff we've got coffee just talk about little personal brand stuff

and I'm excited for what he's doing I'm excited to maybe help him with it

good morning let's do it what do you want to do on the wedding can I do

just some stories what are you gonna do kind of stories can I introduce myself

why not okay real quick brainstorm meeting let's do this

overall great day what the team and I were talking about today is just this

idea that I feel like now is just the time that's now I have launched scaling

creative and for LC studios is its own piece that is separate from that it

allows me to really start to think hard about how I can actually implement all

the things I preach to my clients for scaling creative so it's always been

tough for me to think about how I can create different ads and different

things for or for LC studios because the the combination of the brands made it

really difficult to think about those things but that's part of the reason why

branching off makes a lot of sense and now I'm just about to start going crazy

with content and ads that we're gonna be running for the company and I've talked

about this before but a lot of people I think make the mistake that when

business is good and when things are going well they kind of don't really

feel like they need to advertise and what I've been talking and thinking a

lot about recently it's just that all the success that we've been having with

the company which I'm super grateful for has come from zero advertising it's come

from just referrals and just more and more people that come across obviously

what we do through YouTube and LinkedIn and all these different places but it

always has me thinking like well that's great and I could use the excuse and say

well I don't necessarily need to advertise because we have work and we

have opportunities I'll get the opposite I say I want to advertise like crazy

right now for this new company well things are going well because what would

happen then I've always been a person that's not afraid of spending money on

advertising not been afraid to spend money on employees and spend money on

places that I know will ultimately grow my business and I want to take advantage

of the fact that business is good right now and I could really use even more

business and be able to create more revenue to hire more people if I can

necessarily keep up with the work coming in but because of this new venture with

what I'm doing I really feel like this is the golden opportunity to really go

hard at this whole thing and what allows me to do is two things first of all it

allows me to continue to grow my business and that's obviously a

no-brainer something that I want to do and that anyone that

business is doing but it also allows me to really put into practice the things

that I tell companies to do create more content and run ads and social and while

they're super underpriced and just such a great opportunity right now to use

them I want to use them like crazy I want to spend a lot of money over the

next couple of months running tons and tons of ads at all different

demographics with all different call to actions with different styles of things

and watch what happens because I firmly believe that because everything is so

inexpensive right now to run ads and because we're a video production company

that actually creates the ads in general our cost and our risk to actually do it

are very low most of the ads we create you probably won't even see because the

ads are only gonna be running at certain demographics and I'm not gonna really

run the ads at fans of our page per se because I know that obviously a lot of

you who I greatly appreciate that follow my youtube channel follow our socials

and that's not really necessarily my target market per se but I'm gonna run

tons of different ads at a bunch of different companies bunch of different

opportunities and ideas of things that were running that's what we had to

brainstorm all about or all the different ads were actually gonna create

what categories of people we can go after how to reach those people with

platforms do we use and I'm really really excited for it because I feel

like this is gonna be really what I need to really take the next step in my

business and take it to the next level and then what it really allows me to do

number two is show people when I talk to them about the power of marketing and

the power of video content and branding and social media advertising it's really

easy for me to tell people we know it works because you found us through a

video ad it just makes a lot of sense for me to say hey you really should run

video content because it'll get you more business and then they're like well but

I don't know if it actually will work and I'm like well you came across our

company through a video ad so it allows me to practice what I preach which

builds the company in general and I just don't want to make the mistake I see a

lot of people making realizing how extremely effective and cheap ads are to

run right now and all these social platforms and not truly utilize it to my

advantage to continue build my business when things are going

good I want to be a company and I want to be a person that like practice is

what I preach I say it all the time but I think it's so important I think

it's unbelievable the amount of people that I see give advice and like how to

grow a social media following and then they don't have social media following

at all and and how to properly get good video quality but they don't have good

video quality it's like I want to be someone that says here's how to

effectively market your business through video using social media advertising and

be able to back it up and say here's how I did all that here's the money I spent

here's the effectiveness it had it just makes sense I want to be someone that

people realize understand this because I do it not because I read about it I hope

that you're most inspired of anything from my channel simply to just do what

you try to sell to people if you want to sell video create it if you want to tell

people they need to hire you for a service you should reach them through

the ways that you're telling them they should reach their audience because then

it gives you a leverage and that's what I'm gonna do

How to push a container image to a Docker Repo | Azure Tips and Tricks - Duration: 2:39.

>> Learn how you can push

a container image to a Docker Repo,

in this edition, of Azure tips and tricks.

We're going to use Docker Hub as a container registry,

that we're going to push our Docker image to.

The first thing you need to do is make sure

that you've signed up for Docker account.

You can easily come to hub.docker.com,

enter a Docker ID, your email address and a password.

That's all you need to do. This Docker account

is completely free and you

don't have to pay a single dime for it.

You want to make sure that you sign in.

This will take you to your dashboard.

As you can see here, I haven't pushed

any containers to my register yet.

So, let's go ahead and take care of that right now.

First, I'll start off with typing Docker login.

Now, my credentials are already

authenticated, but if yours aren't,

this will ask you to enter your Docker ID and

password that you would've created when you

signed up for Docker Hub account.

The next thing I'm going to need to do is,

select an image that I want to push.

So, I'm going to type Docker images.

I would use that Cecilphillip awesomeapp image

that we created in the previous video.

So, what I'll do, is I want to

type docker tag Cecilphillip:awesomeapp.

I'm going to tag this with my Docker ID,

which is Cecilphillip/ and

the name of the image tag I want to give it.

In this case, it's first image.

Hit "Enter" Now if I type Docker images,

we can see that there's a separate line item

for Cecilphillip/firstimage. Let's clear the screen.

Next, I'll do Docker push.

I'm going to put in that tag that we just created.

So, that's going to be Cecilphillip/firstimage.

Now, what it's doing is, taking that image that's on

my local machine and pushing it out into the Docker Hub.

Now, this particular image was pretty big.

So, it took a little while for it to go.

But now, if we head back over to our Docker Hub,

when we refresh the page,

we can now see that image that we just

pushed available here in our registry.

Now, we can obviously come here and we can edit it,

we can add full descriptions if we wanted to,

we can take a look at the tags that are available.

Right now I only have one tag, that's called latest.

But also, if you go back to Repo info,

you can see that we have the Docker command

that we need to pull that image down.

But if you had to share this image with anybody else,

they can simply come here to your public Docker registry,

run this Docker pull commands,

and now they can have

that image running on their local machine.

Exploring the 120 Year Old FISH MARKET and GREEN MARKET in Split! - Duration: 3:41.

Alright guys as some of you might have already guessed from our previous videos, Raam and

I love exploring markets, especially local fresh markets and now we are actually standing

outside the biggest Fish Market in Split.

It is absolutely vibrant, bustling and it opens around 6.30 AM in the morning and closes

around 2 PM.

The very cool thing is that around noon-ish the prices significantly drop.

This market is actually 120 years old, you find around 50 different varieties of fish,

and you know whats really cool?

Unlike any other fish market in the world where you will find a ton of flies and what

not, here you actually do not have that problem.

It's the only fish market in the world.

The reason is because there are sulphur springs beneath the ground.

So it keeps the flies away.

As well as that one really interesting fact is that there is a guy dedicated to cleaning

the fish and filleting it for only around 2 US dollars, around 1.5 Euros.

Super amazing.

Let's go explore!

Okay guys we've just finished checking out the fish market and we've walked over to

the other side of the Diocletian's Palace to check out the Green Farmers Market.

You're going to be absolutely amazed by the friendly faces, the vibrant atmosphere

and most importantly : the variety!

Let's check it out.

If you did enjoy the video, please hit the like and subscribe buttons below and I'll see

you guys next time!

How To Tell If A Girl Doesn't Like You - 7 Signs EVERY Guy Should Know TODAY! - Duration: 4:48.

Gentlemen, today, we're facing some hard truths and looking at 7 signs... she doesn't

like you.

Nah, it's not that bad.

But it's important to know when you shouldn't waste your time with a girl.

Some ships just sail.

Trains leave stations.

The plane has...taken flight.

Realistically, learning when a girl doesn't like how to deal is the first step to knowing

when they do...

And is something that every guy should learn Alright, let's jump in.

7. You're Pulling Teeth

The key to a relationship that's got any

chance of going anywhere...

Is chemistry.

And chemistry is that unfakeable, unmistakeable connection that makes the hours fly by,

And makes being with her seem easy.

So if being with your crush feels more exhausting than exhilarating, I hate to say it but...

She's not feeling the chemistry.

How can you tell?

Look for these 3 signs: Your conversations will feel forced, her responses will be frustratingly short,

and she'll ask just enough questions to

keep from seeming rude.

These are all telltale signs a girl isn't into you,

And unfortunately means the relationship is d-e-a-d dead in the water.

6. Friendship Reminders

If it seems like she mentions your friendship

a lot, Unfortunately it's probably because she

doesn't like you as anything more.

I hate to break it to you.

But hey, you got pal privileges.

And pal privileges are great: You get to hang out with her and her friends.

You get to chat and text with her...

Oh and the best perk, you'll be the first person she calls when she needs advice.

But alright, just because a girl sees you as a friend doesn't necessarily mean you're

in the friendzone...

But if she EVER tells you she loves you like a brother, it's time to reevaluate your

feelings for her...

And decide whether you can handle being just friends with your crush...

5. Excuses, excuses

Quick question: Is making plans with your

crush next to impossible?

Is there always some reason she can't hang out?

And when you do finally make plans, does she bail at the last minute?

All these excuses could be signs that she's the busiest girl in the world...

but it's more likely that she's just not that into you.

A girl who likes you is going to want to spend time with you,

And even if she is busy when you ask her to hang, if she likes you, she'll reschedule.

Give her the benefit of the doubt once or twice because after all, life happens...

But if she makes a habit of making excuses, Find someone else who will return your effort,

and make time to spend with you.

Hey if you like our stuff, keep watching!

Because we're showing you three more signs that a girl doesn't like you,

That will make you a better, more effective, more attractive man.

Now, back to our list.

4. Failing the Text Test

Texting is such a huge part of modern romance

because it's supposed to be an easy way to stay in touch even when you're busy.

And because texting has become so important to dating, your messages are a great place

to look for signs she doesn't like you.

Now, we don't want you over-analyzing every message for subconscious signs of attraction,

But you should think about her overall texting behavior.

Leaving you on 'read', sending brief or even one word responses, and never being the

one to initiate a conversation...

Are all signs a girl isn't interested in you.

3. Two-Face

One of the most confusing situations you can

find yourself in Is getting involved with a girl who treats

you one way in private… and a totally different way in public.

It seems like she likes you when you're alone, but you're strictly friends when

anyone else is there to see.

The hard truth about that is, she might like you… but not enough to be open about it.

But before you cut your losses, investigate this sign a little further…

If you really like her, have an open discussion (in private, of course)

about what's going on between you and where it's going.

Either you'll prove you can work together to solve problems, or you'll realize you're

heading in different directions.

And if the latter happens…

Don't try to win her over in the last minute.

It never works.

2. Body Language

Alright fellas, we've talked about the body

language signs she's attracted to you before... but if you need a refresher click the link

to watch the video again.

And if she'll show you with her body that she's interested, it makes sense that she'll

also use body language to signal that she isn't into you.

To let you know you're barking up the wrong tree, she'll keep herself physically closed off.

Crossing her arms or angling her body away from you are her ways of letting you down

gently, A hint that says, "before you get ahead

of yourself... you're probably gonna have better

luck elsewhere."

1. Eye On the Prize

Women have an almost magical ability to be aware of every single person who enters and

exits a room.

So you better believe as soon as you walked in, she spotted you.

That means if the girl whose eyes you've been catching suddenly appears next to you...

It's because she wanted to be there.

Getting near you is one of the clearest signs a woman wants to be approached.

On the flip side, if the girl whose eyes you keep catching always seems to leave an area

just as you arrive...

It's probably not just a coincidence.

It's a sign she doesn't like you.

Those are the 7 signs she doesn't like you at all and your style is whack.

And while you're here, why not check out these other videos?

What are you willing to give up to change the way we work? | Martin Danoesastro - Duration: 13:12.

Have you ever watched a flock of birds work together?

Thousands of animals, flying in perfect synchrony:

Isn't it fascinating?

What I find remarkable is that these birds would not be able to do that

if they all would have to follow one leader.

Their reaction speed would simply be too low.

Instead, scientists believe that these birds are relying on

a few simple rules,

allowing every single bird to make autonomous decisions

while still flying in perfect synchrony.

Their alignment enables their autonomy,

and their autonomy makes them fast and flexible.

Now, what does this have to do with any one of us?

Well, it's one way of illustrating what I believe to be the most important change

that is needed in ways of working today.

The world is getting faster and more complex,

so we need a new way of working,

a way that creates alignment around purpose,

that takes out bureaucracy

and that truly empowers people to make decisions faster.

But the question is:

In order to get there,

what are we willing to give up?

A few years ago, I was working with a bank

that wanted to embark on a digital transformation.

They wanted their offering to be simpler, more intuitive, more relevant.

Now, I'm not sure how many of you have seen a bank from the inside,

so let me try to illustrate what many traditional banks look like.

You see lots of people in suits

taking elevators to go to their department,

marketers sitting with marketers, engineers with engineers, etc.

You see meetings with 20 people

where nothing gets decided.

Great ideas? They end up in PowerPoint parking lots.

And there are endless handovers between departments.

Getting anything done can take forever.

So this bank knew that in order to transform,

they would have to improve their time to market

by drastically changing their ways of working as well.

But how?

To get some inspiration, we decided to go and have a look at companies

that seem to be more innovative,

like Google, Netflix, Spotify, Zappos.

And I remember how we were walking the halls at one of these companies

in December 2014,

a management consultant and a team of bankers.

We felt like strangers in a strange land,

surrounded by beanbags and hoodies

and lots of smart, creative employees.

So then we asked, "How is your company organized?"

And we expected to get an org chart.

But instead, they used strange drawings

with funny names like "squads" and "chapters" and "tribes"

to explain how they were organized.

So then we tried to translate that to our own world.

We asked, "How many people are working for you?"

"It depends."

"Who do you report to?"

"It depends."

"Who decides on your priorities?"

"It depends."

You can imagine our surprise.

We were asking for what we thought were some of the basic principles

of organizations,

and their answer was, "It depends."

Now, over the course of that day,

we gained a better understanding of their model.

They believed in the power of small, autonomous teams.

Their teams were like mini-start-ups.

They had product people and IT engineers in the same team

so they could design, build and test ideas with customers

independently of others in the company.

They did not need handovers between departments.

They had all the skills needed right there in the team.

Now, at the end of that day, we had a session

to reflect on what we had learned.

And we had started to like their model,

so we were already thinking of how to apply some of these ideas to a bank.

But then, one of the hosts, a guy who had not said a word all day,

he suddenly said,

"So I see you like our model.

But I have one question for you:

What are you willing to give up?"

What were we willing to give up?

We did not have an answer immediately, but we knew he was right.

Change is not only about embracing the new;

it's about giving up on some of the old as well.

Now, over the past five years,

I have worked with companies all over the world

to change their ways of working.

And clearly, every company has their own skeptics

about why this is not going to work for them.

"Our product is more complex,"

or "They don't have the legacy IT like we do,"

or "Regulators just won't allow this in our industry."

But for this bank and also for the other companies

that I have worked with afterwards,

change was possible.

Within a year, we completely blew up the old silos

between marketing, product, channels and IT.

Three thousand employees were reorganized into 350 multidisciplinary teams.

So instead of product people sitting just with product people

and engineers with engineers,

a product person and an engineer were now members of the same team.

You could be a member of a team responsible for account opening

or for the mobile banking app, etc.

At the go-live date of that new organization,

some people were shaking hands for the very first time,

only to find out that they had been sitting two minutes away from each other

but they were sending each other emails and status reports for the last 10 years.

You would hear someone saying,

"Ah, so you're the guy that I was always chasing for answers."

(Laughter)

But now, they're having coffee together every day.

If the product guy has an idea, he can just raise it

to get input from the engineer who is sitting right next to him.

They can decide to test with customers immediately --

no handovers, no PowerPoints, no red tape,

just getting stuff done.

Now, getting there is not easy.

And as it turns out,

"What are you willing to give up?"

is exactly the right question to ask.

Autonomous decision-making requires multidisciplinary teams.

Instead of decisions going up and down the organization,

we want the team to decide.

But to do so, we need all the skills and expertise for that decision

in the team.

And this brings difficult trade-offs.

Can we physically co-locate our people who are working in different buildings,

different cities or even different countries today?

Or should we invest in better videoconferencing?

And how do we ensure consistency in the way we do things

across these teams?

We still need some kind of management matrix.

Now, all these changes to structure and process and procedure --

they are not easy.

But in the end,

I found that the most difficult thing to change

is our own behavior.

Let me try to illustrate.

If we want these teams to be fast, flexible, creative, like a mini-start-up,

they have to be empowered and autonomous.

But this means we cannot have leaders commanding their people what to do,

when to do, how to do.

No micromanagers.

But it also means that each employee needs to become a leader,

regardless of their formal title.

It's about all of us stepping up to take initiative.

Now obviously, we also cannot afford

to have all these teams running in different directions,

because that would certainly lead to chaos.

So we need alignment and autonomy at the same time,

just like a flock of birds.

In an organizational setting,

this requires new behaviors,

and with each new behavior,

there is giving up on something old as well.

Leaders have to make sure that everyone in the organization

is aligned around the overall purpose -- the why --

and the overall priorities -- the what.

But then they have to let go and trust their teams

to make the right decisions on how to get there.

Now, creating alignment requires open and transparent communication.

But you know how they say that information is a source of power?

Well, for some managers,

sharing information may feel as if they're giving up that source of power.

And it's not just managers.

The teams need to communicate openly and transparently as well.

In these companies, the teams typically work in short sprints,

and at the end of every sprint, they organize a demo session

to share the output of what they've done, transparently.

And every day,

each member of the team gives an update

of what they are working on individually.

Now, all this transparency can be uncomfortable for people,

because suddenly, there is no place to hide anymore.

Everything we do is transparent for everyone.

So, alignment is not easy,

and providing autonomy is not so obvious, either.

One executive at another company

likes to explain how he used to be a master of milestone-tracking.

Now, today, to know how things are going,

instead of looking at status reports,

he needs to walk down to the team floors to attend one of their sessions.

And instead of telling people what to do,

he looks for ways to help them.

That is radical change

for someone who used to be a master of milestone-tracking.

But in the old world, this executive said,

"I only had the illusion of control.

In reality, many projects would run over time and over budget, anyway.

Now I have much more transparency,

and I can course-correct much earlier if needed."

And middle managers need to change as well.

First of all, without the handovers and the PowerPoint,

there's less of a need for middle managers.

And in the old world, there was this idea of thinkers and doers.

Employees would just follow orders.

But now, instead of only managing other people,

middle managers were expected to become player-coaches.

So imagine, for the last 10 years,

you have just been telling other people what to do,

but now you're expected to do things yourself again.

Clearly, this model is not for everyone,

and some great people leave the company.

But the result is a new culture

with less hierarchy.

And all of this is hard work.

But it's worth it.

The companies that I worked with,

they were used to deploying new product features a few times per year.

Now they have releases every few weeks,

and without the handovers and the red tape,

the whole organization becomes more efficient.

And finally, if you walk the halls of these companies today,

you just feel a new energy.

It feels as if you're walking the halls of a very large start-up.

Now, to be fair, these companies, they cannot claim victory yet.

But at least with this new model,

they are much better prepared to respond to change.

The world is getting faster and more complex,

so we need to reboot our way of working.

And the hardest part of that change is not in structure

or process or procedure,

and it's also not just senior executives taking charge.

Leaders will be all of those in the organization

who embrace the change.

We all have to lead the change.

So the question is:

What are you willing to give up?

Thank you.

(Applause)

5 Used SUVs You Should Never Buy - Duration: 7:36.

Rev up your engines, today I'm going to talk about 5 suvs that

you should never buy used, because many of them were bad enough when they were brand

new, now suvs are getting more and more popular because you can hold stuff in them and their

very handy and they ride pretty good these days, the early ones were kind of bumpy but

they make them a lot better now, well some of them are made a lot better, here

are 5 suvs that you should never buy used, now the first suv never to buy used is the

bmw x5, you mind as well say bmw money pit, that's all those things turn into, they've

have problems with engine oil leaks, water leaking into the vehicle, big transmission

problems, and problems with their stability control system that keep them from flipping

over because their so boxy, yeah their high tech there's no arguing that, but I've had

customers with them that they got this gyro sensor that goes bad and it's a small thing

but it costs like $1,500-1,800 for the thing, their just high priced and it's not like their

high quality, there's so much plastic used in those things their always getting leaks,

I had one customer with an x5, I told her, you shouldn't have bought this thing used

their money pits, well after a year of driving the thing and finally I put on my bmw computer

for her latest problem at it was the transmission was going out, I did a little research and

found out that it was going to cost her 4-5 thousand to fix it so she finally got rid

of the thing, she traded it in on a used lexus suv and boy she is happy with that lexus,

that was years ago and she's still driving the lexus and I hardly ever she her because

the things don't break, just normal oil changes and brake job stuff on those,

and of course bmw is so snobby they didn't even call the x5 a suv they called it a sports

activity vehicle, well yeah because your going to spend a lot of activity going to the bmw

dealer getting the thing fixed, now the next suv not to buy is the cadillac

escalade, now if you want to impress your friends and neighbors that your driving a

cadillac suv and you don't care that you get 11 mpg in actual driving, the cadillac escalade

might be for you, it's a show boat and a lot of that show boating stuff is made out of

plastic, and guess what it cracks early and breaks down, their known for heating and ac

problems, you might think oh that's not that big of a deal, it's all computerized and believe

me I've seen people spend $1,500-2,500 taking the dashs apart fixing those plastic things,

they have problems with the dash and display system on them, just cheaply made and they'll

just come on and off at will, their poorly made theirs no doubting that, the have early

transmission failures and awd versions they have differential problems that cost a fortune

to fix, it's a big heavy vehicle but the internals are not heavy duty enough, they just break

down too much from carrying all that weight around, cadillac has been using that cadillac

top of the line image for decades, well it's been a long time since that was even close

to the truth, now the next suv not to buy the jeep renegade,

the renegade was created after chrysler and fiat merged, fiat bought chrysler, the renegade

is small, it's under powered and if you tried to take that jeep renegade off road like one

of those big jeeps good luck, these jeep renegade, their made in Italy,

their made is Brasil, and their made in China, they have nothing to do with the legendary

jeep, especially stay away from the 2015 renegade that was the worst one they ever built, they

have engine failures, they have transmission failures, they have electronic failures, the

list goes on and on and on, it's like the combination of Italian manufacturing problems,

not surprisingly the renegades have a lot of electronic problems, many Italian cars

have electronic weak systems that's just the way they go, it also has a problem with blowing

head gaskets in the engine, a typical problem that Italian cars have, you know if you want

to get a jeep I'm not that big of a fan of the newer ones, the old ones were great, but

if you are get a regular one, don't get this small one,

now the fourth suv not to buy used is the Chevy traverse, I've seen engines stop on

ones that had 40,000 miles on them, the awd system has problems and costs thousands of

dollars to fix, I mean if a vehicle has engine and transmission problems, that says stay

away, stay far away from this vehicle, I mean I had a customer with a traverse, it kept

flashing up service awd, then it said super cruise system, well this car didn't have a

super cruise system yet is was saying there was a problem in a system that it didn't even

have on the vehicle, and the gm dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong he just lived with

that until he got rid of it, he said it was the biggest pile of junk he ever had and he's

never going to buy another one, the last suv never to buy used is the pontiac aztek, it

was made famous in Breaking Bad where Brian drove one around and eventually he took it

to a garage, they fixed it all up he came to pick it up and he looked at it and took

his hat out of the back seat, put it on his head and walked away and gave the car to the

mechanic, I had a customer that did a similar thing with an aztek, the thing had like 55,000

miles on it and the head gasket blew and the engine stopped, so he had to put another engine

in, so he said to heck with that, he had a used engine put in and then he just sold the

thing and got rid of it and said, that's it for gm I'm never buying another one of their

products, basically the azteks were gm's version of trying to copy a toyota matrix and man

did they fail big, the azteks actually had a lot of different problems, but the biggest

ones were, the head gaskets of the engines going, the transmission going out, and having

intake manifolds that would go bad and leak oil and water into the engine, and if you

didn't watch that closely that would lead to a blown engine too, and even if you caught

it right in the beginning you had to take the whole engine apart and spend like $1,500

to fix something that should have never happened in the first place, cuz I'm not talking about

cars that are 20 or 30 years old, some of these cars were less than a year old and some

of them were 3,4,5 years old, but regardless, they were poorly made vehicles, they don't

make them anymore obviously, now if you want to get a pontiac suv, get a pontiac vibe,

it's the same thing as this matrix, the were made in the same plant, the have the same

engine, transmission, wheels and everything, the only thing different is this sheet metal

on the vehicles, so that one you can get because it's actually a toyota product really,

showing that the expression, what's in a name can mean a lot you want to research what's

behind that name, now sure there's plenty of good used suvs out there but stay away

from these 5 suvs if you don't want to catch a sports utility virus, so if you never want

to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that bell!

What should you know about equity-based compensation plans? - Duration: 2:01.

One of the most confusing and complicated aspects of an executive's compensation is

equity incentives like stock awards, restricted stock, and stock options.

These equity-based compensation arrangements provide you with the opportunity to create

lasting wealth, but they must be managed for risk, tax and regulatory consequences.

Because this is so important, we make it a major focus of our book,

Personal Financial Planning for Executives and Entrepreneurs.

It's no surprise then that this is one of the most overlooked areas of financial planning.

Plan agreements, tax and securities laws, company structure and retention guidelines

can be difficult to integrate and navigate.

And all of this needs to be balanced against your personal tolerance for risk, your immediate

and future cash needs and, ultimately, your aspirations for personal wealth.

How much of your net worth is tied to the company stock?

Is the amount of risk you are taking appropriate for you and what is the most tax efficient

way to reduce your ownership?

What special actions should you consider if you work for an early stage company?

When should you exercise options?

Should you cash-out or hold the stock?

If you are considered a company insider then how do you navigate the challenges of

the securities rules?

In our book, we answer these questions, and many more, in an effort to demystify the details

of your stock-based grants and equity-based compensation arrangements.

Consider it your ultimate guide to understanding and maximizing their value, while being educated

about the inherent risks.

Your ownership in your company is too important to ignore.

Our book will help you consciously plan to create lasting wealth.

#AskUofGH: How do you find balance? - Duration: 0:53.

Balance is hard...

I don't have balance...oh gosh...

It's easy to get lost in the mishmash of school, work and friends...

Um I'm able to find balance in my life...

I find balance in my life by really taking time for myself...

I make sure I prioritize schoolwork but I also try to prioritize

spending time with my friends and spending time at work as well.

I walk to the bus, from the bus, I listen to music and sing, and I power nap.

You have to kind of like know yourself well enough to be like 'Alright I've been

studying for like seven hours maybe it's time to go do something that I like.'

I try to sleep. Sleep is always good. Sleep is good for balance.

Ha ha ha...I'm gonna stop now.
