When I finished my studies in Psychology, my first thought was that I needed a twist in my career

in order to search for an industry full of opportunities and challenges

and that was when I found Les Roches.

I chose Les Roches Marbella for its international prestige

for its alumni which came from all over the world.

I felt part of a global community, of a world full of opportunities.

When I graduated from Les Roches, I realized how much I had learned

and how qualified I was for different industries.

I started, like many other graduates, in the hotel sector.

Now, I'm Head of Operations for WeWork Latin America.

I'm capable of performing different activities in different countries,

with different cultures and clients.

WeWork is one of the five most important startups in the world.

Nowadays its net worth is around twenty billion dollars.

WeWork is an entrepreneur's platform. It is a global community.

It is a new way of humanizing work,

a way to create a culture amongst companies that work within a shared space

and we all benefit from the interaction between us.

WeWork is now in six countries in Latin America, in different cities

and it has been a very interesting challenge to tropicalize a concept

born in New York to fit in a different culture.

Over 70 cities, 25 countries, 350,000 members

more than 300 buildings around the globe

and specifically in Latin America we have 35 buildings

and we open between three to six buildings per month.

Once the buildings are opened, comes managing the administrative work of different offices and countries,

taking care of all our members' needs,

administrating the operation costs that affect us,

managing occupancy rates…

So you can imagine how complex the operation gets

and how qualified we are after a school like Les Roches

because, during the time of your studies, you get exposed to several situations.

You get experience in all kinds of areas.

They encourage you to make your internships in different countries

and that prepares you for the world.

The advice I would give to those wondering whether to study at Les Roches

is to ask themselves whether they want to become that kind of person,

a global person, someone surrounded by people from many countries,

a multicultural person prepared for today's world.

For a world that demands having a more global and broader vision

to overcome different challenges.

Can the stock market be manipulated 📉 What you should know 🤔 - Duration: 3:53.

with another episode of Office Hours,

and a bonus addition on this happy new year.

Wanted to address, can the market be manipulated?

And what should you know about your investment strategy

to help you kind of avoid that?

Let's get right into that today.

Whenever I'm asked, hey, Dominique,

is the market manipulated or can it be manipulated,

I think it first is a good practice to understand what

or better yet who the market is.

Because a lot of people probably think

that the market is you and I making our trades,

and our 401Ks, or different accounts like that every day.

And that's only 15% of all trading volume.

In a recent article by The Wall Street Journal

we know that the electronic trading platforms,

such as high-frequency trading,

trading algorithms, market makers, passive index,

and ETF funds make up probably about 85% of the market.

You can read more about this in Michael Lewis' Flash Boys.

A very, very good read on how just this phenomenon

of electronic trading has really taken over the market

and really represents the biggest part

of what you see going on every day.

The second thing I would say is that

if you believe or understand that the market

is mostly electronic, at least 85% of the market is,

the other thing you need to know

is that the electronic trading is event-based.

You know, one of my first jobs out

of college was with a hedge fund.

And we built one of the very first

algorithmic trading machines.

These things are very event-based and binary in nature.

Meaning that, like, if a certain event happens,

then do this particular action like buy or sell.

So if you look at the confluence of events

that have just happened in 2018 you can probably understand

that this selling action in the latter part

of the fourth quarter in 2018 was brought on

by maybe at least four factors, if not more.

The slowing down of major economies like Europe, Japan,

and China that really put demand pressure,

pressure on demand for goods and commodities

like oil, and copper, and whatnot.

You've also seen this trade war evolve

between the US and China that is obviously

going to affect both of our economies.

We've got this deceleration in corporate profits

that will affect demand, at least from a GDP standpoint,

and what we produce from an economic output.

We've also got an unsure FED that in September

finally pushed interest rates past

what the level of inflation is.

So there's a lot of things that are really coming into play

when it comes to what these event-based electronic

trading platforms have as fodder for their selling action.

And last but not least, I will leave you

with the third thing is that you

cannot beat the machines, right?

In Michael Lewis' Flash Boys he talks

about this huge amount of computing power

that really is just mind-boggling

that these electronic trading platforms

use in order to execute their trades.

So they are definitely the undisputed champion,

800-pound gorilla in the room.

There is no reason to try to fight against them.

What you instead need to do is build an investment strategy

that is based off of something

rather than beating the market.

It needs to be a goal-based strategy

that meets your needs so that you can have what you need,

instead of trying to beat a market

that is gonna be extremely hard to fight against.

WP2264462 - Replacing Your Maytag Fridge's Fan Motor Grommet AP6006911 PS11740000 - Duration: 11:07.

hi my name is Bill and today I want to be showing you how to replace the fan

motor grommet on your fridge the reason why you might have to do this is because

the grommet is damaged causing your evaporator fan motor to make unusual

noises for this repair we'll be using a quarter-inch nut driver flat head

screwdriver and a Phillips head screwdriver warning before doing any

repairs please disconnect your power source so this is the fridge we're gonna

be using for our demonstration here it's a maytag keep in mind yours might

be a little bit different at home than what we have here but the same

techniques should still apply so the first thing we're gonna do is open up

our freezer door here now we need to remove the ice maker and to do that

there are three screws holding on here and then two up here we'll use our

quarter inch nut driver and get those off now

and as you take out this last screw you just want to hold the ice maker so that

doesn't fall down and all we have to do to unclip these wires is just undo this

tab right here lift up on it slightly and pull out now I want to take off this

piece right here which is just covering another screw that's inside so we use a

flathead screwdriver and pry that off and now I'll use a quarter-inch nut

driver to remove the screw and now the next thing I need to do is there are a

few plastic tabs on the side of this piece right here so I'm gonna push in

and pull out to release the plastic tabs

and the whole assembly will come right out now to remove the evaporator cover

here I've got to remove these four screws here so I'll use a Phillips head

screwdriver and do that now

now that I have all those screws out I can remove the evaporator cover just by

pulling out a little bit anywhere and then the whole thing come out nice and

easy the other thing we're gonna want to do is that there's a grounding wire for

the icemaker so we're just gonna remove that from the

cover set that down and we can pull the cover out now to get this bracket off I

need to remove the two screws that are holding it on there so we've got it our

quarter inch nut driver again

now that the screws are out bracket should come right off and what we're

gonna want to do is just also remove all these wires and the way they're just

held in place back here by this clip now

we'll unplug the fan so we're just going to pop that clip up and pull it out and

we've got this one last wire so we can pull that out as well now I want to

pull the fan off so if you get the blade off just pull that straight out we'll go

back on the other side push it out just like that so and if we need to you can

just angle that out and it'll pop right out now we can take your fan out and the

fan motor has two grommets on it it's got one on the front right here and it's

got this one on the back so they're both gonna be the same part so just take off

whichever one you need to replace in this case we'll take off the one in the

front and now you can grab your new OEM replacement fan motor grommet if you

don't have one already find it on our online store and now we'll put our grommet on

you'll see that this has a hexagonal shape and the grommet has a hexagonal

hole in it so you just going to want to line that up and push that straight on

it'll fit nice and snug on there and now we're going to line up our fan motor

bracket and with the bracket it's got that hexagonal hole there

so we'll line up the grommet and put it inside

and will put the back piece on line up the clips here first and then line up

the fan motor and push it in and the back of this clip also has that hexagonal

hole you just want to make sure that the grommet on the back is also lined up

properly with that back hole and now we'll line up our fan blade and we'll

push that straight on just like that that spins nicely tight and now we'll

reattach the wire onto the side of the motor here and then we'll plug it back

in here as well

and now we'll put our fan motor back into place up here and you're gonna line

up the hole in the back and screw back in now I want to put the wires back

into place as well so just go underneath the clips there like they were earlier

and these ones will go in the front with that piece kind of weave in and out

now we'll put the evaporator cover back in and what we want to do first is just put an

angle and clip in the grounding wire here on the side it's sitting right

there and then what we're gonna do is grab this wire here and feed it through

the hole near the grounding wire and as we set it up just like that pull it

through and then we can put the fan cover back in place just in the backside

there like so and push cover so that it goes all the way back now we might have

to move the icemaker up a little bit to get it in all the way once you've done

that now screw it back in

and as you can see right here I've left the glove right up here and don't have

to have a glove or anything but just something to cover these three holes not

the end of the world if when your screws fall down in there because you can take

it apart if it falls on the one of the sides it will fall right through into

the refrigerator department it falls in the middle you'll have to do some

disassembly on the inside of the fridge too now I'll put the icemaker back into

place so the first thing we're gonna do is plug it back in and once you've got a

plugged in you can line up the holes and you're gonna also want to put the tube

into the back piece over here and then screw it back

now I'll put the circulation vent back into place and two tabs right on the

bottom right there push that in so it clips into place now we can screw it in

now put the cover back in place and your repair is complete

finally don't forget to plug in your appliance if you need to replace any

parts for your appliances you can find an OEM replacement part on our website

I'm so excited to be filming these finally. I have been wanting to do these types of videos

Like me talking to the camera for so long

But I just hadn't had the courage or enough courage to do it. I actually don't know if this is going to be up

We'll see. So hi guy ! Welcome to my first video today I wanted to do something

Normal in booktube . So I'm gonna do my TBR for you January

I have all the books that I want to read in my reading journal

So let's just jump into them also I don't know if this is going to be my normal background

I'm trying to get the lighting and everything good and my glasses are reflecting. I don't know how people film

I will try make things better as videos come

Let's start ! my first read of 2019 It's going to be Harry Potters and the Philosopher's Stone

I have never read Harry Potter before I tried to read Harry Potter when I was a child

But I never liked it. I don't know why it wasn't my cup of tea. I wasn't that into fantasy at that time

So I didn't actually enjoy the first book

Everyone has read Harry Potter. I think I'm the only one that has never read Harry Potter if I love the movies

I should like the books right? So I'm probably going to do a series of videos of

me reading Harry Potter for the first time or something like that, but I'm really excited. I hope I like them

I really hope I like them because also

Watching Chloe from bookswithChloe and seeing the love

That she has for these books made me want to pick them up a lot more

I'm not going to explain what the plot of Harry Potter is about

I think everyone knows it. So that's going to be my first read of 2019

The next book I'm planning to read is one that it's really hyped here on booktube and bookstagram

and that is The Cruel Prince by Holly black

These was one of my autopresents for Christmas. I got it for myself

I'm scared to read this

People either love this or don't like it that much and I hope I like it because it sounds like something I would really love

So I don't know much about this book. I know it's

Dark fantasy book with a lot of politics

I'm gonna try to describe the book as much as I can

I'm so bad. Like telling the plot of books

So I'm going to try I don't know how this is going to turn out

We followed these girl named Jude his parents were mother when she was a child

She and her sister were stolen to the court of fairies and a lot of the fairies despise humans, though

Now she's there it probably has to fight for her rights. I believe don't know much about it

I have seen a lot of art about the book I love the character like description. I just hope I enjoyed it

So the next book is my first reread of the year, and that's going to be City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I read The Mortal Instruments and the Infernal Devices when I was 12

And I read them in Spanish ever since I have wanted to

Read all of them again in English and this year. I actually got myself all the paperbacks

so now I can read them in 2019 and I actually

We are reading one book each month over the year and if you want to join I made also a Goodreads group

I would probably do book discussions on

YouTube and it's going to be fun. I'm so excited about it

I thought no one was going to read with me the books but a lot of you reach out to me and

Told me how excited you were I actually have already started these and I'm annotating them too

I remember loving these books when I was younger

There were one of the first books that I was so obsessed with I'm saying excited so many times

But I'm just so excited to be able to read these books finally again

What's the next book?

The next book I'm planning to read is Vengeful by V.e. Schwab

I read Vicious the first book in this series or duology. I don't know what it is and I love Victoria Schwab

I want to read every single book she has out and I just

Really wanted to jump into vengeful because Vicious came out so long ago

But I'm glad she did a second book for this story . So in Vicious we follow our two main characters

I believe they were called Victor and Eli I'm not sure about Eli and they were once friends but

Something happened between them and now they are trying to like hunt each other or kill each other basically

You are the one who decides who is a hero and his villain because both of them have really good

arguments about who is doing the right thing and who is doing the wrong thing and I think in this one

We follow more Eli than Victor. And also we have Marcella who I have

I have heard a lot of good things about her. These cover is gorgeous. This is a collector's edition and I just love it

I love it some much, it has silver foiling.

The next book is actually also written by Victoria Schwab. And it's City of Ghosts

This is a middle school book, and I just really wanted to pick up to see how Victoria Schwab

writes these kind of stories

So in this one

We follow Cass who can see ghosts and her parents have a TV show and they go into hunted places

This book is set up in Edinburgh

I think it's pronounced like that actually set in actual places from that city

It sounds really spooky and I have heard a lot of people

Thought it could be a Disney movie and that sounds like something I will like and it's actually really short so I think it's going

To be fast to read and being like a middle-grade

Read it's going to be easier. The next book is my first contemporary on this list and it is

Emergency contact by Mary. I don't know how to pronounce this

HK choi , Choi , I don't know. Sorry if I'm not saying that right

I wanted to include a contemporary here cause normally

I like to pick up something lighter more chilled This sounds amazing

I actually don't know much about the plot. This was basically bought because of the cover the gold foiling I

love pretty covers

I just know that it's about two colleges students that just moved into college and they exchanged their

Contacts and they are like the emergency contact for each other. It sounds so cute. Definitely reading this

Am I missing something ?

Okay, and the last one is the book that I'm

Most excited to read in January. I don't know why it took me so long to pick this book up

I know I'm going to love it. And it's one of my favorite authors ever. It's strange the dreamer by Laini Taylor

I'm gonna pick this one because it's prettier I've been wanting to read these for so long and now that I have not one

But two physical copies of it. I think it's time for me to start reading these damn books

Laini Taylor is one of my favorite writers here writing a style It's just

so beautiful daughter of smoke and bone is one of my favorite books ever as you can tell

It came out not in 2018. It came out in 2017. I think I didn't pick it up because it was super stressful

Year for me and I actually have two copies. I will probably

Annotate this one if you follow me on Instagram, you know the struggle to find this cover

It was like out of a stock in every single store and you guys helped me so

I'm so thankful if I have this book here right now with me. It's because of you. Thanks so much

I don't know anything about this book. I just know that in the first page a blue girl

Falls from the sky. That's the only thing I know and it's because I read the first page

Don't know what to say . I'm like out of words and I think that's it. I forgot to say that

This is a really ambitious

TBR for me. I normally don't read these many books in a month

And also I have exams on January, so I don't know how that is going to turn out but we'll see

Episode 007 Are You Looking For Change? - Duration: 4:39.

Do you want change?

Hi! I'm Suzanne, your host on Souls Home® TV - where home feeds your soul

Is your soul calling for change?

Since you're watching this, I'll assume the answer is Yes.

But let's pause because there's a trap I see people fall into

and I've fallen into myself when looking for change

What's the trap?

Trying to change too much at once

Why is too much change a trap?

Because when your soul is calling for change

it will appear that the ego is ready and willing to help

but beware the ego will demand that you change everything at once

when what the ego really wants is for nothing to change at all

You see, the ego has a hard time with change so it will appear to play along

but ultimately sabotage the soul's efforts by piling on too much

So for the benefit of your soul and your ego less is more.

Whenever you feel moved to make a change in your life

just pick one thing, just one

and make a 30-day commitment then watch what happens

When your soul picks just one thing, you can strategically soothe the ego

and you'll be delighted at how easily other good things flow from it

So how do you know what to pick?

Ask your soul three questions until you find the one thing that's right for you.

What would feed my soul the most?

Am I being called to do this now?

Can I commit to 30 days?

Once you're clear on the one thing your soul wants you to change now

be aware that your ego will try to sabotage

A couple of years ago, my 30-day soul challenge was to

go to yoga class every weekday morning at 6:15 a.m.

To do this I needed to wake up at 5:00 a.m.

To wake up at 5:00 a.m., I needed to be in bed by 9:00 p.m.

To be in bed by 9:00 p.m., I needed to start getting ready for bed at 8:00 p.m.

What, that's unheard of! My ego protested.

People would think I was an old fogey if I went to bed so early.

but my soul was calling so I commit to 30 days

The first week I thought I was going to die every morning at 5:00 a.m.

My ego insisted I needed more sleep

I was so tired, I had a headache throughout the day .

but I committed so I did it anyway

By the end of 30 days it just became routine.

Now, even when I don't feel like going

my body just gets up and goes anyway

I feel healthier

I feel more alive

I get more done with less effort

I feel more connected to my soul.

It was the right time to make that commitment for me

Using Ice For a Migraine — Get Rid of a Migraine Without Medicine - Duration: 2:05.

here in Northbrook, Illinois.

And today I wanted to go over with you

one of the tips we found that can help

some people who are going through a migraine.

So if you're having a migraine,

or you know someone who has

been going through them recently,

please share this video with them

so they can get the help too.

One thing that we found to be successful,

and it's tough to tell which one to do,

is to either apply heat or cold.

So what I'm going to do is show you the cold we like,

and the cold pack we like and use,

and you can use what you'd like.

So I'm going to hop in the fridge,

oh you may see the big blue,

that's where I went,

please don't hold it against me,

I welcome for any of our active patients

to bring in some of their Alma Mater info,

we'll put that up on the fridge too.

Nobody seems to take me up on it,

why don't you?

So I'm going to go into our fridge

and I'm going to grab one of our ice packs.

These are really great.

And the way you'll typically want to use them

if you've got a migraine,

is that you'll want to them across your shoulder,

you can lay on it,

you want to

do that for about 10 minutes.

Okay?

Try it.

It if helps, fantastic.

If it doesn't do anything about 15 minutes later,

you can try some heat, okay?

Migraines are really, really complicated

however temperature is one thing that may

be able to control the symptoms.

So I usually like to try cold first,

and if that doesn't work then

you can try heat.

The neat things about our packs is that they are

hot and cold so you can actually do that.

then the whole thing should come out nice and easy the other thing we're

gonna want to do is that there is a grounding wire for the icemaker we're

just gonna remove that from the cover set that down we can pull the cover out

now to get this bracket off I need to remove the two screws that are holding

it on there so we've got a quarter inch nut driver again

now that screws are out bracket should come right off and

what we're gonna want to do is just also remove all these wires and the wires are

just held in place back here by this clip now we'll unplug the fan so we're

just going to pop that clip up and pull it out and we've got this one last

lawyer so we can just pull that out as well now I want to pull the fan off so

you get the blade off just pull that straight out we'll go back on the other

side push it out just like that so and if we need to you can just angle that

out and it will pop right out now we can take the fan out now you can grab your

new OEM replacement fan motor bracket if you don't have one already

you can find it on our online store and now we're gonna line up our fan motor

bracket and with the bracket it's got that hexagonal hole there so we'll line

up the grommet and put it inside and we'll clip the back piece on

line up the clips here first and then line up the fan motor and push it in and

the back of this clip also has that hexagonal hole you just want to make

sure that the grommet on the back is also lined up properly with that back

hole and now we'll line up our fan blade and we'll push that straight on just

like that that spins nicely make sure that's tight

and now we'll reattach the wire onto the side of the motor here and then we'll

plug it back in here as well now we'll put our fan motor back into place up

here and you're gonna line up the holes in the back

and screw it back in and now I put the wires back into place as well we'll just

go underneath the clips there earlier

that piece weave in out now we'll put the evaporator cover back in and what we'll

want to do first is just put in an angle and clip in the grounding wire here on the

side it's sitting right there and then what we're gonna do is grab this wire

here and feed it through the hole near the grounding wire as we set it up just

like that pull it through and then we can put the fan cover back into place

just in the back sitting there like so and push the cover so that it goes all

the way back now we might have to move the icemaker up a little bit to get it

in all the way once you've done that now screw it back in

and as you can see right here I've left the glove right up here and don't have

to have a glove or anything but just something to cover these three holes not

the end of the world if one of your screws falls down in there because you

can take it apart if it falls on the one of the sides it will fall right through

into the frigerator Department but if it falls into the middle you'll have to do

some disassembly on the inside of the fridge too now I'll put the icemaker

back into place so the first thing we're gonna do is plug it back again and once

you've got it plugged in you can line up the holes and you're gonna also want to

put the tube into the back piece over here and then screw back it now I'll put

the circulation event back into place and two tabs right on the bottom right

there push that in so it clips into place now we can screw it in now put the

cover back in place that and your repair is complete finally don't forget to plug in your
