Forests You Should Never Visit Alone (and the Terrifying Reasons Why) - Duration: 8:33.

By day, the scenery can be incredibly calm and beautiful... even stunning.

However dusk begins early in a sea of trees, and as daylight begins to wane, the hapless

visitor may realize, he has not allowed for enough time, to get out of the forest before

nightfall.

If only he had partnered with another hiker, he may not have ended up at night, in one

of the forests, you should never visit alone.

Robinson Woods in Illinois covers land that was appropriated from three different tribes

of Native Americans, the Pottawatomie, Ottawa, and Chippewa nations.

Robinson was the European name adopted by the last family of Indians to remain, the

family of Chief Chee-chee-pin-quay, who was also known as Alexander.

After their house was burned to the ground in 1955 by offenders unknown, the wood became

their final resting place.

In winter, in the vicinity of the indigenous burial ground, people report the smell of

lilacs in the air.

During the day a herd of deer may defy the nature of the animal, by running circles around

visitors, for no apparent reason.

At night appear orbs of light, believed to be the spirits of the family.

Another house that was burned to the ground, from colonial times, gives its name to the

"Old House Woods" of Virginia.

This forest, near the Chesapeake Bay, is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, and the nearby port

town of Mathews, was visited in the 1700's, by British soldiers and pirates.

Here the ghosts of the British are said to be occasionally joined, by the spectre of

a headless dog.

A lesser bay on the coast, known as Whites Creek, is also the site where in the 19th

century, a fisherman is reported to have seen a pirate ship of old, sailing inland on the

bay.

But the vessel did not rest when it came to the shore... instead it continued to sail,

over the beach and dry land, as the spectral ship disappeared slowly into the forest.

A forested area in the city of Wildwood, Missouri, adjacent to the Meramec River, is truly the

haunted wood for unbelievers.

Visitors often get the feeling of being watched.

Its only access is the infamous Zombie Road, which runs parallel to the river, and the

bed of the railroad, which also once followed the waterway.

In the daytime, footsteps may be heard, coming from just inside the forest, flanking the

road.

To lay its tracks in 1863, the railroad company employed mainly Irish immigrants.

The work was dangerous, as the men were required to position the iron rails over the cross

ties, by brute force.

More than one worker lost his life, by means of grisly accident, and their souls may still

walk the line at night.

The phantom bodies are said to glow with a light of bluish-white, but if they are approached,

they disappear.

In Northern Ireland, ancient stone circles buried deep in the forest of Ballyboley, gave

the site its reputation, as a place of worship, in the religious ceremonies of the ancient

Druids.

Another legend claims that Ballyboley conceals an entrance to the Celtic Underworld.

The legend says that an alarming number of disappearances took place within the wood,

between the 15th and 17th centuries, with no explanation as to where the missing people

ended up.

In 1997, a scream was heard by two men who were hiking in the forest.

Their search for the victim, ended only with the discovery of a tree, which was covered

with gore.

As they retreated along the trail, the men could not help but look back.

Standing next to the tree, four human figures now appeared, with hoods over their heads,

who evidently were watching them leave.

In 2016, a rave was held in the same wooded area.

It is said that none of the participants can remember a single detail, of their attendance

at this event.

In France during World War One, the forest of Verdun was the site of the longest battle

in history.

Throughout the year of 1916, it reduced both sides, German and French, by a total approaching

one million human casualties.

Artillery transformed the battlefield into a crater-filled moonscape,

that remains to this day.

It is still littered with so much unexploded ordinance, barbed wire and arsenic,

that crops refuse to grow.

Jessie Woo has joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami for its second season.

Woo, 28, is a comedian and singer best known for her viral YouTube videos and her hosting duties on various BET shows.

While she is new to the Love & Hip Hop brand, Woo has wasted little time getting in on the show's patented drama. During a teaser clip for the upcoming season, Woo can be seen tossing a drink in the face of fellow cast member Amara La Negra.

Here's what you need to know about Woo ahead of the season two premiere.

She Became Popular for Her Comedy Skits & Song Covers on YouTube.

Woo rose to fame by posting a series of comedy skits and song covers on her YouTube channel.

Her first YouTube video was 2010's "If I ain't GOT YOU!!!" which was a remake of the Alicia Keys song of the same name.

She went on to find greater success with 2017's "Dear Haitian Crush", which was a remake of another Alicia Keys song, "You Don't Know My Name.".

Woo also releases skits like "A Haitian Mother's Prayer", where the character playing her mother urges her to forego the interest of men in favor of Jesus.

"Why you don't make Jesus your boyfriend?" the mother asks at one point.

Woo currently has 16K subscribers on YouTube and 510K followers on Instagram.

During an interview with Kreyolicious, Woo cited fellow comedian and singer Jamie Foxx as her biggest influence.

"Jamie Foxx is my idol when it comes to being an all around entertainer," she said.

"The man is a sketch comic, stand-up comedian, a writer, producer, he can write a jingle for your sitcom while being the lead actor in it simultaneously.

Jamie Foxx is a musician who can also be a serious Oscar-winning actor.

He does so many things yet he excels at everything he does.

He is everything I hope to be and more.

She Reportedly Got Into a Physical Altercation With Jojo Zarur On the 'Love & Hip Hop' Set.

Woo has wasted little time making enemies with her fellow Love & Hip Hop cast members.

The Jasmine Brand reports that she got into a physical altercation with Jojo Zarur during the filming of season two.

Witnesses claim that the fight got started after an unknown object was thrown at Woo, and she responded by attacking who she perceived as her attacker: Zarur.

It was also rumored that Woo made physical contact when she attacked Zarur, which, according to Love & Hip Hop, would result in a fine.

The Jasmine Brand adds that Woo got her lawyers involved shortly after the incident was reported, in the hopes that she doesn't have to pay the fine.

Until the season premieres, she will not be paid for her screen time.

MTONews reported a slightly different story, saying that Woo was actually the one who got taken down by Zarur.

"They were arguing over something with Amara, and all of a sudden Jessie threw something at JoJo," said a production assistant.

"Jojo blacked out and hit the girl.

I don't know if she had something in her hand, but she put Jessie to sleep. Jessie was knocked out.

We had to call paramedics.".

She Has a Comedic Alter Ego Named Cadouskha Jean-Francois.

In addition to her song covers and comedy skits, Woo releases videos under the alter ego Cadouskha Jean-Francois.

The character is featured in the bulk of her Instagram videos, where she often plays opposite herself.

When asked what inspired the alter ego, Woo explained that it was largely the freedom to say what she wanted without fear.

"Cadoushka is me, honestly," she explained.

"She is that side of me that is not afraid to say what I really want to say how I want to say it.

This has gotten me into a lot of trouble over the years with work, friends and family.

Naturally, as I have gotten older I have learned to sensor myself, but I am Cadoushka, she is me.".

The character also came out of an appreciation for Woo's Haitian upbringing, which shaped her personality growing up. "I was teased a lot in grade school for being Haitian," she admitted.

"I heard a lot of things about myself that I wasn't aware of like, 'Haitians eat cat' or 'Haitians are dirty and poor.' I would go home and ask my mom why these kids would say these things.

She always taught me that miseducation was the reason for a whole lot of these comments.

She taught me that being Haitian was and is a privilege and that people hate what they do not understand.".

She Is a Host for the BET Shows 'Set Trippin' and 'BET Breaks'.

Woo is also the host of the BET shows Set Trippin' and BET Breaks.

In an interview with Rolling Out, Woo spoke on her failed attempts at becoming an actress, and how persistence proved to be her saving grace.

"At my lowest, I turned to social media.

Then boom, it was almost instant," she said.

"Following that, after five months of job hunching, I was in a meeting planning out a comedy show, not knowing my future BET boss was in the room.

She liked what she saw and heard and she offered me a hosting spot on her show.

So not only have I been able to show off my funny side, I've been able to work my mass communications masters.".

"There's no success without taking risks," she added.

"There's no success without making mistakes.

My most high points came after very low points in my life.

I started creating content after being fired almost nine months ago.

There have been videos that were really risky filled with unpopular viewpoints of mine but they garnered the most attention.".

She Called Out Amara La Negra on Instagram for Trying to Ruin Her 'Love & Hip Hop' Debut.

Many sources, including The Jasmine Brand, have speculated that Woo was added to the Love & Hip Hop cast specifically to beef with Amara La Negra.

If this turns out to be true, than Woo has exceeded expectations.

Not only has the comedian gotten into a physical scuffle with Amara's best friend Jojo Zarur, she was caught throwing a drink in Amara's face.

After the incident was caught on camera and used as part of the season two promos, Woo took to Snapchat to justify her actions and call Amara out for trying to ruin her Love & Hip Hop debut.

"All Imma say is this.

B**ches tried to ruin me before I even started filming," she wrote.

"I knew I was doing Love In Hip Hop since October of last year before anybody knew who you and your $9.99 wig were.

So don't ever flatter yourself thinking you matter so much.

I got this on my own!… Keep it cute till reunion.".

Woo went on to criticize Amara for trying to cling to other cast members to make her storyline more interesting.

"Shoulda stuck to f**king Safaree [Samuels] for your storyline," she added.

"Your a*s thought he was gonna come to LHHMIA for that p**sy and he didn't.

well welcome on back let's get some cleaning done today shall we and we are

gonna be doing it together starting here with some laundry a

laundry that never ends and on to changing the sheets on our bed I want

you to leave comment below how often do you change the sheets do you do it

weekly bi-weekly or monthly even what's your preference I tend to do mine

bi-weekly I would do it weekly but the husband said that was way too much

so I'm taking a poll what do you all like to do I'm just gonna put some

flannel Christmas type ones on here and they have snowflakes I guess they're not

necessarily Christmas but more winter themed helps keep us nice and toasty

during the season not too shabby the wrinkles never end but that's okay

because probably in about an hour and a half my kids are gonna jump on it anyway

but it sure looks nice for the time being now doesn't it time to load up

some more laundry and turn and burn this laundry

let's do a quick little closet - where shall we

we have my side and my husband's side you can see he is much more organized

than I am one of these days I'm gonna go through all that workout stuff there in

the shelves you see and just clean it up a bit a bit of a exercising workout

person clothes hoarder thingamabob er yes that is my six months old pack and

play he does sleep in there it's a little strange I know having it

in the closet but it is a dark and quiet especially with two toddlers so that is

his makeshift room for now and he quite enjoys it

these are all loose socks that have no partner look at all those it's maddening

I know one of these days I'm hoping they'll find a partner otherwise they'll

just get tossed in garbage

so we have one laundry basket of sort of laundry for my two toddlers that I will

put away at a later date and me in another basket that I will need to go

through at some point but not today and these two baskets can go back in my

laundry room to get filled up with more laundry I wish I could hire a laundry

service that would be quite nice 2:19 we had a little bit of time left here

well hello hey you can hear my washing machine there in the background ooh my

bad so as you can see we probably got about 20 minutes before I gotta get my

daughter off the school bus my two boys are still sleeping so bonus for that I

got a little coffee here that I'm working on this is copper number three

today don't judge I know you've done it before - it is boo boo it's getting warm

in here alright a couple more things that I want to accomplish before I get

my daughter I want to go downstairs to our guest bedroom we have some company

coming it is my father-in-law and I hadn't

changed the seat oh my goodness I had painted seats I hadn't changed the

sheets since he was here last a couple of weeks ago he was here for a couple

nights I'm just gonna restrain in the bed don't need to wash them all over

again I don't know about you but if you sleep

in your bed for two nights do you realize your sheets probably not so

that's my rationalization on that one we're gonna straighten that up then

we're gonna come up back upstairs here see how much time we have and just maybe

tidy and straight in the house is pretty much it's a bit as it goes when you have

three children but that's okay that's the nature of the beast
