Toned Paper Sketchbook Tour! Strathmore Toned Tan 400 series Sketchbook! - Duration: 3:45.

Hey guys, so I'm just gonna go over some of the things I worked on on this sketchbook this year

First thing is this masking tape done with charcoal

This camera is actually painted with watercolors and I'm quite surprised how the paper did not warp as much as I thought it would

Now I did do some plein air drawings and this is an example of a tree I did

This is another tree. I did that these were done with pastels and charcoal

Seeing as how successful this paper was for watercolors. I made another one and this is a painting without a reference

So for these next few drawings I used ink I used Nikon pants a brush pen and a white gel pen

This combination actually looks quite good on toned paper

Here on the left

You can see that I kept drawing the same tree over and over this on the right is a very awkward tree

I did not like it at all

Same that tree at a different angle

Now this is the first time I use gouache on the sketchbook on the left with the clouds and these rocks I

Kept walking to them they kept drawing them. So you're gonna see a lot of those

So, like I said here they are again the only difference is that on this one after drawing it

I walked back home and I use watercolors on the paper again and made it. Look quite nice

After remembering that I haven't drawn hands in quite a while I decided to draw them again

And these are my hands and on the right here is a tiny sculpture

now the small knife is actually one of my favorite drawings and it's probably because I drew it with a student of mine and

That was a good experience

So these are the rocks again and my hand again, but the difference is that my hand is painted with gouache and

By the way, gouache also works sort of well with this paper

Now there's a gouache painting on the right but this is horrible don't look at it

But these clouds though, you probably seen them before if you follow my Instagram. So yeah

Okay, so basically just ignore these two pages. Just stop looking at them. All right, cool. Lets move on

Matching Your Glasses To Your Shoes - Duration: 1:59.

Ladies we love our shoes. Did you know that the average woman has 20 pairs of

shoes in rotation at any one time? And statistics show that only 20% of women

have more than one pair of glasses. Yet when we think about it eyeglasses

are the first thing people see when they meet us. When you're in a business

meeting or you're at a networking event it's the very first thing people see. So

let's have a look today about how to match your eyewear to your shoes. I found

these funky sporty shoes really comfortable and colourful and then

because I would wear these in a casual funky setting I found these great

glasses matching the colour of the shoes. One lens

is round and one is square. Then one of my faves right

now are these blue John Fluevog funky heels. I love the colour one of my favourite

colours. And then take a look at these glasses. So it's even heavier to match

the chunkiness of the heel but the colour is gorgeous. And then now that we're

looking at our sexy boot I wanted to add in something that has some cool

almost a marbled pattern with the off-white and the black.

So these are obviously very different looks. So it's hard to have one pair of

glasses that works with both the outfits you might wear with these shoes. As you

build your wardrobe of eyewear think about the 20 pairs of shoes you have in

your closet.
