Waching daily Sep 27 2018

Now, I'm in my late 30's and I'm able to afford all sorts of wonderful

opportunities. Travel all over the world and just moved into this beautiful

mountain house. So, my wife and I have been kind of debating where do we really

want to live? Where do we want to grow up? What do we want for our kids? And where

we live in Utah is relatively dry, right? I mean, it's hot, it's dry, it's got a lot

of snow in the winter. And really, we felt the mountains we're

calling to us. Especially because I'm from Seattle Washington.

And so, we said instead let's find a house that can give our children a great

schooling experience, be able to provide all that but also give us the

opportunity to travel around the world and live in the mountains. This is my

incredible wife, Kalenn. And look, you got a whole pile of... We just moved in a couple

of weeks ago. So, I think our driveway, our our porch looks like this all the time

anyway. But you know, what we immediately fell in love with this

house was this view all right out here. Now, they got us a fire

that's brewing over the mountains and so it's kind of clouded up but I'm telling

you, at night, it lights up. It's green all year round and and we just love it. It's

like the perfect home for us. But none of this would have been possible without

real estate. I mean, you know, when I say I retired, it sounds weird to say that at

age 26. Because retiring was you know, all of that really meant was I had a $12,000

a month residual income, I didn't need a job. When I quit my job, my income tripled.

And I realized how valuable my time is as a real estate investor. I know how to

produce many more times than wealth through real estate than anything else.

In fact on most of my deals, I average between five and fifteen thousand

dollars an hour of earnings. So, I mean if you can imagine $10,000 an

hour, that's a profession you want to know

about. That's when you want to get good at. And that's why I like this house. So,

this is a beautiful multi-million dollar house. Here we've got the whole kitchen

area. Our last house that I custom-built 11 years ago, if you remember from all my videos,

had a really big countertop. But this is a beautiful gourmet kitchen. I love the

way that they did the fridge here. One, because you can't tell it to fridge. It's

even got drawers. And you got your state-of-the-art appliances here, your

Sub Zero. My last house, I was one of the last grandfathered in with a six-foot

wide commercial range. But they have beefed up these residential ranges. These

Wolf's are just... They're fun to cook on, they're beautiful. But for me, there's one

of my private guilty luxuries. I didn't know this house... I didn't know they had

things like this. This is my Apple beer drawer. This is where I keep my other

drinks. Ice maker. These are like now, like essentials in my life. So, I mean the

kitchen is great and everything but I work mostly from home, right? I mean, I

shoot my YouTube videos from home, you'll start seeing this home a lot more. And it

was this view that I just fell in love with. These windows right here, this is

$200,000 in custom windows. Just for this room and for

this area. And as you can see, this is a total different style from the house

I've been shooting my videos in. You know, my wife and I being European came from

that old-world, you know, European kind of feel. And after time, it

started feeling just kind of dungeon-ee and heavy. And you'll notice this house

is all about light. It's bright but more importantly, I feel inspired out here. I

feel inspired by the mountains. My office is not quite set up. But I don't know if

I ever really will because my real office... This is this outdoor living.

There's a heated deck. We're up in the mountain. So we're going to get to 3

feet of snow. But most of my business calls, I just do kind of sit in here, I'll

turn the fire on at night. And right over the edge. Because my master bedroom is

right here. I'll actually just step right down in here and enjoy this hot tub

which that's a really awesome way to spend every evening. And it's been

working for me. Now, it's a gated community. Which means we've got four

pools that are just about, you know, that are three Lots south of us.

We've got a, you know, clubhouse right now. Is a brand new community. They're

building a fitness Center. And so this house is all about

living life on my terms. In fact, my wife was asking "Kris, why are we moving? Why

do we want to move?" Before we found this house. And I just said, "What would inspire

us? What would what would take us to that next level?" You know, this year I'll

probably end up buying at least 200 homes with my partners. And buying 200

homes every year and it gets more every single year. Well, five years from

now that's maybe 1,500 or 2,000 homes. 1500, 2000 homes. That's making tens and

tens of millions of dollars in real estate investing. If you're making that

money and you knew how, where would you live and how would you want to live? I

mean, I maybe I retired at the age of 26. But what I love these days is really

teaching and educating people exactly how I do it. On my videos, I don't hold

anything back. If you're what, if this is your first video, you got to subscribe.

And I will break down all the finer points of how you build wealth. Because

being young... Dude, my mother in law, I mean bless her heart. She's super, super

wonderful woman. But you know, we've been to now nearly 40 different countries.

We're always traveling. She says, "When you're 65, what are you going to do?" And

frankly, I don't know because she's... You know, her comment is you'll have just

seen everything. You'll have travelled and seen the whole world. And you know, I

don't know how long I'm going to live, I don't know how long I'm going to be alive.

But you know what? I can tell you that I want it all. I feel like you and I we

have the potential for that. And real estate is just the fastest path of

creating that. This is my side of the bed. So, right there, that's the view that I

get to watch the sunset and rise on. I get to watch the lights come out at

night. And it's awesome. Now, my wife just convinced me that I need to have my own

robe. So, I've never been a robe kind of guy. I'm six foot four. You don't know it

from this small little video. but I'm actually a really tall dude. You come out

to one of my live events. Everyone's like, "Whoa you're so much bigger in real life."

Well, we had to find an oversized robe that would work

for me. But dude, it's all this beautiful state of the art. I love the cleanliness

of this kind of feel. Hey Klenn, come here. What do you, what do you like the most

about the real estate that has enabled us to have this home? -Um, I love the peace... Just

the piece of security and making and just knowing that we've got all the

basics just totally taken care of for our family. And you know, extra for travel

and projects and humanitarian aid and so many fun things. -Yeah, you're doing some

humanitarian this work that worked this morning.

Let me ask you. For the young people and even the older people are watching this,

you know, it's like "Well shoot. You know, Maybe Kris was that guy that went out

there and maybe he was just something really unique and special." I know you

think I'm special but you know, you've been able to watch the thousands of

people leverage our real estate strategy to buy homes and to build wealth. You

know, when you're talking to a young person, is it worthwhile for them to

learn how to do this real estate investment? -Of course, absolutely. We started when I

was 21 and totally scared to buy my first house. But we did. And here we are

how many years later. -Did you ever feel like not supporting me during that? Like, was

that ever like just too nerve wracking? -It was scary and there was definitely a

leap of faith. But... -What was you're, what was the turning point for you? Let's show

them the closet. What was your, what was your turning point where you said, "Hey,

you know what? We should actually buy a lot more real estate?"

-Uhm, it was after our second house and we were getting rental income then from too.

From our first one in the basement and then the second one I'm like, "Hey, we

should do this more." -But why? Because it wasn't that much extra work. And we just

had money coming in every month. -Yeah. How much, how much time would you say I

currently spend a month managing my real estate investments? -I wouldn't know

because I don't notice it. -Yeah, that's actually. Well, yeah. For having just moved

in a couple of weeks ago, oh and all with us and say, "Uh how did you get this? Where

are all your boxes?" -I'm not known to always have my stuff hung up. We've got the last

of the misplaced items. This is my... If you come to my one of my live events, this is

my... This is the only time you'll see me in any kind of form

wear whatsoever and that's with jeans, okay? That's it. Because t-shirt

and shorts, I mean, this is what I wear pretty much all year-round.

So you know, when you're young and you're looking at real estate, here's one of

these other things that I would become aware if I were you. We're going to go

upstairs. For just a moment, I want you to think. This is what everyone else is

doing: They go to college, they get a degree, they get a job, they work for

somebody else and then after they do that, they're pretty much stuck in a job

for 30-40 years. And they're counting on their job to give them the money they

need for life. And that's exactly what it does.

It gives you the money that you need for life. But you know what it doesn't do? It

actually doesn't give you the money that you need for the life that you want

after working. I don't have a problem working. I actually love working. But am I

really, am I doing the work that I love? Because right now, I get to work

very, very little. But I get to do the things that I enjoy which is making

videos, chatting with you, being with you live events, partnering with some of you,

buying lots of properties. This is our library. It's kind of fun. Parking under the

tree. This is our Fox rug. That is like crazy, crazy, soft. It's faux for all you

that are concerned. And I love sitting here and just like reading to my kids.

I'm petting this cute little rabbit. Oh fine. Out here, so our deck has a lot of

stories to it. Out here, this is seriously one of my favorite places to read to my

kids. You can get a great view of the smoke. Well, right now, we just moved into this

house. And there's a fire six miles that way and we're like, "Fire please don't

come over the mountain. And burn us out of our brand-new home." That would suck. We

would prefer not to have to do like a wrap and move. Having just gone through a

move. We haven't moved in 11 years. I mean, our first house we bought, we made

$65,000 on while we lived there for 2 years. Our second

house, we bought, that we lived in, we made great money on. Then we actually built

one point something million dollar house that we've been living in. We're still

deciding what we want to do with it. So, this house is definitely a step up in

price and I think niceness. But it's all been made possible because of real

estate. So, here's the deal. People don't understand the value of time. You need to

understand that in the game of real estate, you want time on your side. If

you're always thinking about quick flip, do a deal, make 30 grand, make 50 grand,

that feels cool, that sounds cool. But it's a job. Because when you're done. You

got the money but then you have to do it again if you want to make more. My

short-term buy-and-hold strategy, I'll go and buy you know 50 homes and then guess

what happens 5 years later? They become a hundred homes. And 5 years

later they become 200 homes. And they keep multiplying. They're like baby

rabbits that have babies. This is my daughter Olivia's room. I think she

has like seriously one of the best views in the house, other than on a the

mountain is burning down day. I was just out hiking with my daughter up there. So,

so pretty. So each one of our kids, it's kind of like a master bath. They have

their own, they have their own separate bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet. Which is

fun because the kids don't blame each other anymore. I'm like, "Who messed up

what?" Because they all have their own. Other than the boys. The boys... Oh yeah, we

do room checks every single week. Listen, the game a real estate is a game

of discipline. And it doesn't take much time but you got to do the right things.

That still starts with learning how to take care of your crap. Which they're not

doing very well right now. This is part of their training. (Laughs)

Yeah. So, the boys have, I think, they've got the bigger bedroom. They absolutely

have one of my favorite tiles in the house. The designer, they brought out

of Park City has just done. Just a really, really... Just a magnificent job on this.

One of our rules is, "You keep your toys in the closet and if we ever find your

toys outside of the closet, we confiscate them and then you have to earn them back."

So, there's a little bit of bad parenting 101 for you.

You got Pikachu over there making sounds. Wait it is one of the cutest sounds. Wow.

Well. So, in this house it's all about minimalism. I left all of our furniture.

We probably spent $300,000 on our last yard. We probably put

in... I mean, we put in a massive amount of money into furniture and everything. And

we left it all behind. And because everything is minimalistic, it's like, "Oh

do I really want a thousand frames?" So, my wife was smart. She just made this one

really big frame and then we just swapped out these pictures. Check this

out. We've got... This is a picture of us in Mexico, feeding the dolphins,

this was taken down a world record Nyala by bowhunt in Africa, this is Bora-Bora.

Kid you not, the most beautiful beach having seen beaches all over the world,

that is the most beautiful. We actually found real Santa Claus. And

he came to our house. It was quite amazing.

This visiting California, this is an African safari, my kids getting

their belts. My wife and I love acro yoga. So, there's a photo shoot we did last

year. This is in Thailand, this is feeding a bunch of baby tigers which was crazy,

crazy, crazy experience. I had four of them that were like tackling me, were jumping

on each other. And then one of them tried to eat my shoe. This is us actually, this

would take my kids doing some snuba. This was in Kenya, we did a huge humanitarian

project and my daughter and I got to go see these amazing cheetahs. Machu Picchu,

we did Peru last year. And my daughter, she was 11 at the time, we took her and

she actually hiked the Inca Trail. Again, real estate. Think about it. Why, why

real estate? One of my first mentors taught me this. And you got to understand

that when you're young, it just gets bigger with time. Like if I started with

one home now and in five years I turned it into two. And then in five more years

I turn it into four. And then in my 15th year I turned it into eight, my 20th year

I turn it into 16. You know, it actually grows faster than that. But imagine what

happens when you get I'm on your side. Not a lot of people get

that. And one of my first mentors said, "Kris, you want to make money, right?" I

said, "Yes." He says, "You could create a $1 widget and if you sell a million of them

maybe you'll make a million dollars." And I said, "Well, it sound like a lot of work."

Then he said, "Okay, well you could sell cars. Maybe if you make $1,000 a car and

you sell a thousand cars you make a million." I'm like, "Yeah, but I don't know

how many lifetimes it would take to sell a thousand cars." And then he said, "Or you

can do real estate. With real estate, you just count to ten. And do you make a

million. Because if you were to make a hundred thousand each home. One, two, three,

four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, a

million. So, you think about that for just second. You do ten deals, you make a

million. There's not a lot of big time difference between selling the widget

and selling a car and selling a home as an investor. So, in other words,

his advice was deal with the asset that has that is the most expensive commodity

that the average person will deal with. That is a home. Okay, out here we have a

kind of like little casual TV room area. Got a little porch area down here. The

lot keeps on going all the way over the hill. My kids are playing in the forest

every day. They're collecting acorns. All the squirrels are going to die because this

winter they will have none. And then there's just 40 pristine acres that

people can't touch out here. Which... The green... Just the green in the mountains

just inspire me. This is my daughter's room that we got her set up

with. She's got her own bathroom. She's got the worst view in the house. That's a

joke. It's beautiful. But it's only the only kind of semi buried room. And then

for the last eight years, I have been taking care of my parents.

That's actually financial. Kinda that's a God and Kris thing where I made a

promise to take care of my parents. They're quite a bit older. And so, this is their

bedroom. So, they're there cooking in our kitchen. They're living with us which is

a huge privilege. Because I got 8 brothers and sisters and my kids get

to spend timem more time with Grandma and Grandpa than anybody. And I think while

they're here, it feels good. That byway is probably one of the most

meaningful things that real estate has done for me. It has given me the means to

care for my parents. Send them on trips, sent around the world. You know, my mom

needs teeth work done here. Here's a $2,000 check. Whatever is needed.

There's a bunch of storage here and there. But there's an unfinished area

that we're getting started on. We got to finish getting all this in the storage.

But we're going to put in a huge theater area. Game room in the very back, I'm

going to be building out a huge tool area for me. A huge craft area. So, it's uh... It's

interesting. It's actually a slightly smaller home than the one that we're

just coming from. It's over 8,000 square feet. But in that spirit of minimalism, it

just feels like, feels like the right thing. Just, it feels like a different way

of life and a different way of being right now for us. So, I just... In making

this video, as I'm showing you this, you know some people are going to be like, "Oh,

there's like one of those Thai Lopez videos. I'm going to show off all of my

stuff and let's go into my garage and see all my expensive cars. You know, I'll

show you my BMW supercar." Listen, this isn't the purpose of the video. The purpose

of this videos for you to understand that when you're young or whatever age,

start the game of real estate. If you're 60,

you will still benefit greatly from real estate in this life. But you are going to

be able to take that real estate and benefit and create a legacy. Right now

I'm doing things for not just my parents, I'm doing things for my kids. And I'm

doing things for my grandkids. There's a legacy that I'm in the process of

creating. Okay, a couple last things:

my mother is amazing organizer. So, our entire pantry is totally organized. And

no matter how angry I get, everything is soft, everything is soft closed. kKind of

cool. We got the laundry room here. We go to

the pool almost every day. So we keep all the bath tool towels under there. And

then, we just finished with the mud room. So, the mud room is nearly all organized.

Which is great because it means that like, this is my outdoor winter slash

hunting and snowboarding. We got these lockers top and bottom for. Basically it

means no shoes, no socks. When you have kids, they dump their stuff everywhere.

We're still in the process of getting the whole garage organized. Kind of the

way that we want. But I got my truck there. This car and we're in the process

of buying the lot right next door here. It's another... That'll... That's another 2/3

of an acre. And we want to buy that so that I can build my parents

actually their own guesthouse. Put another 3/4 garage over there, so we have

a room for some car and toy expansion. But otherwise, just out here, enjoying the

mountains, enjoying life out here. And so, I just think, "Man, what kicked all of this

off? What started the ability to have all this?" It's real simple it's this game at

real estate. I love helping young people on the road to success in real estate.

And if you want help with that, I've actually set up a system where I can be

your mentor. It's cheap, it's easy, it's simple. More importantly, it works. My

event that have coming up around the corner, I've got people coming in town

that are in my real estate community that had no money, no credit. Just

starting out. One of them I'm celebrating. He did his first deal and he's got like

a $780 month cash flow on his first deal. And his

second one, he made $50,000 on in less than six weeks. So, we're going to be

acknowledging some of the students that are coming out and having that

experience. But if you, if you're looking for a mentor which by the way, in in real

estate, you need to have a mentor. Someone you can talk to. I've got a community set

up where we interact. I could give you the tools that you

need. And essentially, I can help you build wealth the way I've been able to

build it. And all you got to do is click the link in the description. And then

talk to a member of my team and say, "Hey, I'm young or I'm old or I'm whoever. But

I'm just starting out and I need some help." And they're going to direct you and

how to do that. Heck! You might be one of those that has actually built up some

assets. And they're just not sitting in real estate where there's higher ROI is

available to you, where you can really make some great wealth. And say, "Hey, I'm

interested in partnering with Kris because I actually make that available

as well." And they would actually talk about how you'd get my cell phone number.

I build you a game plan and we would actually go and buy a pile of homes. And

create a legacy. Just like I've done for me, just like I've done for others.

Friends, thank you so much for for watching today's video. Make sure that

you subscribe if you want to learn more about investing in real estate. And just

know, real estate is real. If you have the right system, if you have the right

mentor and if you have the right mindset, you can win at this game of life. Money

is a game. There are rules. If you learn the rules and if you cop the tools and

if you've got the system, you can absolutely succeed at it. So, if you feel

like you're ready for me as a mentor. If you feel like you're ready to take that

next step in financial to grow yourself, click the link in the description and

let's play together.

Rabia Butt's Interview Will Make You Love Your Mother Even More | Speak Your Heart - Duration: 38:25.

My guest today is Rabia Butt

She is a model

She is tall, beautiful, elegant

and I think we are going to find out, what kind of human she is

So lets meet Rabia

Rabia, thank you so much for being here

Thank you for having me

I think you had to come to my show

I wanted to know

That the Rabia, we watch at the ramp

who is so beautiful, and tall

and she is very elegant

what kind of a person is she?

How are you?

I am absolutely fine

but I think Samina jee that you have always told us about people

I want people to know you too

Although people know

Yes

but what kind of a person am I from the inside

I think you need a lifetime to find thing about people

because people have so many layers

So what are you doing, now a days?

Now a days

I actually don't know about this because

I can't really plan anything

and I am among the people who listen to their heart only

and the heart is not in control usually

So I really don't know

Really?

My first priority are my kids

They are actually my sisters

How many sisters?

We are 4 including me

And brother?

I don't have one

So you are 4 sisters

A riot

4 sisters, how much fun is it?

I am more of a mother to them rather than a sister

and I feel honored saying this

but I have a status of a mother at home

so the fun times are minimal

I have a lot of responsibilty but now that they are growing

in fact they have grown pretty much

So its fun uptill now

Are you strict?

Very

Like my mother

She was strict?

Very much

Really?

So you had to convince her to come in this profession

to become a model

Thats a long story

I was so afraid of her

that when my mother left for Saudi Arabia

to perform hajj

So thats when I started working on this

Really?

And I was so afraid, because my mother would have never allowed

and because I was a child

so this thing didn't come in my mind that she is going to return soon

but I just did it

God lives inside a mother's heart

so how could she resent me?

She did get angry at that time but eventually she got normal

but it took time for the family

My mother's in laws

They didn't accept this

but now they all are fine

Thank God

because

Maybe they don't consider this work right

They don't consider it to be nice

like the rest of our society

Whoever thinks about this job

but when my family lived with me

They saw all the hard work

I would return at night

and for me its like, since I got the responsibilty of the kids

after that I don't hangout or meet with people

So I think all these things were responsible to mold their hearts

And how was Rabia in her childhood?

Quite

I suppose

I wasn't that mischievous

I used to stay very quite

from what I have heard from others

and I started talking after such a long time that my mother started doubting if I was a mute

because I was the only child

but after that I think I was normal, I was a brilliant student

an obedient child

of the parents

and because my mother was so strict, I used to think whether she was my real mother or not

and mostly children think this

that whoever is strict with them

they might not be their real relatives

So what things was she strict about?

Was she neat and organized?

Or disciplined?

Now I understand that she was strict for all the right reasons

The same things that I do for my sisters now

because I don't want them to make mistakes

because now I am the one raising them

So raising them as a sister is difficult

especially when you are in this profession

So many people could point at me

and thank God

The kids are also very nice

What is the first memory you have

the very first

a book?

a toy or a doll?

To be honest my mother is my first and last memory

I am madly in love with her

and I came to know about this love when

I lost her

On that day I came to know

and I think this is the worst stage of love

that you come to know that you loved someone only when you lose them

so thats what happened with me

after I lost my mother

What happened?

What happened to her?

She died in a car accident

She was driving herself?

Yes

I couldn't get to know everything that happened

because I wasn't here

but still

She survived after the accident

but after that, the doctors

the way they beahved

like we know in Pakistan

We take too long

We take too long in filling the forms

and giving the money

We forget that life is more precious

Doctors do forget that because they weren't my relatives

I am talking about myself, that I was also late

in realizing love

so why can't they get late?

But there tedious behavior took my mother away from me

but

anyways

I couldn't accept all these things initially, I would thing that this is wrong

and I still think the same

but somethings are already written

you cannot avoid them

this was that kind of a thing

So I can only stay calm if I think like this

What did she dream of?

for you?

What did she want to make you?

I think she just wanted to see me happy

What a strange thing that her dreams would also start with me

and that I should stay happy

and that was that

This was her start and end in life

because I think that the amount of love I have for my mother

was very less compared to how much she loved me

and she still does, wherever she is

So these were her dreams

That I should stay happy and after me

the rest of my sisters

because they all are also her children

and from the day of her death

uptill now

it is my responsibility

that I keep the wishes of her children as my priority

There is an interesting thing that I was reading a few moments ago

That someone asked an elder that, what is love and obsession?

He replied, liking your lover is love

but liking the person your lover likes in obsession

So if I was my mother's love

so were my sisters and my father

So everything from them deserves love

Its been 8 years since she has died, and the journey in these 8 years

You can understand that

from her death day I have started living my life for her

and everything I am today is because of her

So when you started to feel that she might not be you real mother because she scolds you a lot

When did you find out that she loves you?

What did she do?

The day I lost her

then I got to know

that is why I said that I was too late

I couldn't understand before that

and

then I got aged

You started understanding

before my mother I used to think about many people who I thought I loved

but after her death I realized what love really is

and I understood the meaning of love then

So she was the one who taught me what love is

and I only loved her

and her children

and then I love my country, it comes second after my mother

I love Pakistan very much

Where have you travelled?

Naraan

Hunza

some parts of Kashmir

Recently I explored some places beyond Murree

with my aunt

So I have some different plans

of travelling Pakistan

So are you planning of doing a show?

are you planning a show?

My planning and thought process is always long

I think a lot

and then I overthink a lot

and I over analyse things also

and then I get so tired of doing all this

I don't even do it because I just keep thinking about it

but it is part of my plans

that some things should be done

like travel log

Indeed

because if people know you, you have a responsibilty

that you should bring good things in front of them

You should be very careful

before giving any statement

because people can make life goals out of the things you say

and they start living according to it

So I think that

if a few people know me

so it is my duty to show them my country

they should see the country I love

Don't you find it to difficult to have such a mindset?

The one that thinks so much

and thinks before taking any set

Don't you find it difficult?

Thats why I don't take steps

I have to personalities that are living simultaneously

so thats why I said that you should be very careful about talking about things infront of people

and about the things that you leave for them

but the rest of me is spontaneous

I can't plan

and I am very emotional

Emotional people make quick decisions

Have you made such decisions?

I have done a lot of emotional decisions

Decisions for the children is one amongst them

I like the way you call your siblings, children

What is the age difference?

between you and the 3?

You are the eldest

I am the eldest

The youngest one was 8 when Mama was alive

then 14

and 16

Okay

and now they have grown, one is 23 and the other is 20

The youngest one is 16

and you still call them children

yes because now I have gone through that process

of raising them

So what were the emotional decisions you made?

Coming into modeling

How did you take this decision?

This is a decision from my childhood

I don't know, I just wanted to become a model

How?

I have no idea from where this idea came from

but maybe because I was rebellious

We had strictness in the house, an islamic environment

and I used to think that it was impossible

but it had to be done

So why not acting?

I acted too

Really?

Actually after the death of my mother

I decreased the amount of my work

because I got very religious

and I still am

It effected my work

so I decreased the work load

And then I used to talk to myself a lot

I told myself that

that you have achieved everything in modelling

and now there is no way to move forward

I could only get a lifetime achievement award

So if I acted

making you presence felt, and sustaining the recognition

it will take time

if you think

that you still have the power to endure and struggle

then you should do it

I thought that I couldn't do it

I couldn't give more of myself to it after I had done everything for my mother and the children

and now I needed time for myself

where I could spend time with myself and my mother

but

You can not avoid what has to happen

I had talks about a movie

and I agreed to do it

Now that I had committed, I had to do it

and I did it

It wasn't a very pleasure experience

Okay

After that I took time for myself again

and then I decided what should I do, as I had gone through an experience

Then my heart said no

then again I took my time

I kept on thinking

Then I thought that if

you want to leave this work properly

then you have to act a bit more, as you have started already

and after that you can leave

and after that thought

finally

after going through that thought process

I decided to do a couple of project and right now I am in the middle of somethings

Television?

Yes, for television

Have you ever done theatre?

No, not at all

I heard a lot about it

Yes

but I don't think that I am that much

confident

That you can entertain a live audience

I am a shy person

I am so introvert, that if there are 4 or 5 people in the room

I don't feel comfortable

I like solitude

or I like a one to one conversation

So me doing theatre? No

Is is difficult?

Very, did you do it?

Yes I have done a lot of theatre

The people who have done it, call it a beautiful expereince

Yes, indeed

You make a repo with the audience

You start feeling their pulse and you get to know that if they are enjoying or not

and if you are doing good

you know its amazing

and its also very terrifying

because you get instant feedback

and because there is not rewind or replay

You cannot replay a scene if you made a mistake

If you made a mistake, you cannot erase it

Would you still want to do it>

Theatre? Yes I am going back to it

and I hope that I can do it again

theatre

So are you doing a business?

or trying to become an entrepreneur

or fashion designing

or a lawn

No, no

I don't want to work in things related to this

Although I do want to do it

but it will be unique

I think that

I should work on rice and wheat

Seriously?

if you love your homeland so much then why not?

So will you grow it?

after buying a piece of land?

I wouldn't need to buy a land because

the side of my mother

My mother and grand mother have been land lords too

So they still have the lands

So I think this and this idea came to me not too long ago, and why not?

Only men cannot work on those lands

Like we can do something too

Yes why not

Many women do it, I know a lot of them

who are land lords and grow crops

I have met them

and they actually run their own fields

in a very successful way

There are many women in Pakistan

Yes, we should do things like this, women are not only there for makeup

fashion and shalwaar kameez

that they should only do this

Women can do anything they want

If she can give birth then she can do anything

I was going to say that if woman can make the universe

So what can she not do

I think that women are the best in arranging

Really?

God has gifted women with this skill

Woman can make so many things she wants

and can destroy too

After God, women are responsible for doing all this

He made them mothers, what more can be said

So where do all these deep thoughts come from?

They are not deep at all

No, all these amazing ideas

and thoughts

So do read books or poems?

Or watch movies?

I don't do anything like this

I am just living my life like this

and I have always lived like this

And I think that these words don't do justice

So how do you handle criticism?

To be honest, I don't get criticized

Believe me

I don't get to listen it

I usually listen to praises

Thanks to Allah

and it make me more tense sometimes

because the more people like you

the more you look up to you

the more responsibilty you get

I don't have a margin

to make a mistake

I also don't have a margin because

the 3 girls sitting at home, consider me like a mother

So a mother doesn't have a margin for a mistake

I don't remember any of my mother's mistakes

So you cannot do a mistake

Now if I talk about these people

then I don't do a mistake

and I have to think about it too

and I have to be careful

but its not fake

that I only do this because I don't get criticized

this is the way I am

My inside and outside are the same

There is no difference in it

Do you forgive?

easily?

Yes

this is a problem

Sometimes I think that I shouldn't be too quick to forgive

but I forgive easily

Maybe, forgetting takes time

but forgiveness

because as I said earlier, my mind keeps on thinking

I have a connection with God, when I talk to him

I have to tell him that

at that particular time

I had the power to do bad to people who hurt me

but I forgave him instead

Now you have to forgive me too

because I forgave your people

So when you make such a bond with God

then you can't think about people

and you cannot keep grudges

So I think about this

Do you ask for forgiveness?

Easily?

I do ask forgiveness from people

but I can't forgive myself easily

You are hard on yourself

When you have so many responsibilities

then you think that you cannot afford to make mistakes

if I still make a mistake

then it takes me forever

to accept my mistake

because I think that I have learned a lot

and I know so many things

How could I make a mistake?

It means I haven't learned

So I have to learn more

Then you are not in this position

that you can raise someone

or you can explain something to someone

because you need to learn

So this is always happening?

Whenever I make a mistake

And its very long?

Very much

So when do you feel happy?

Very happy

Right now I don't feel that happy

I do get happiness

I got happy after seeing you

I do get these kinds of happiness

but

the thing you are asking

Something that makes me happy spiritually and emotionally

I don't have that happiness yet

because I

have a problem of loving a lot

So I don't get it

but I get happy when I see the children happy

When I see them succeeding

I think that my mother will be happy seeing me like this

She always thought

or she used to say this

that we all will, like most parents say

not stay happy after me, and I will see what you people will do

and I would listen to this the most because I was irresponsible

So now I think that she would be happy

So keeping her happy makes e happy

or when I see my country prospering

or when I see people getting happy near me

I do feel happy then

When I can do thing for the people who couldn't do anything for me

I feel happy by making them happy

So all these small reasons

Do you sing?

No, I am fond of it but I don't sing

I like to sing

but I don't

Why?

Have you heard yourself?

No but the people who have heard it

they think that

I should't sing

You shouldn't take so many risk and torture so many people

Really?

But I wanted to learn

that how can we sing

Learning singing is one of my wishes

And dance?

Do you want to learn dance?

No

I only wish to learn singing

not dance

Do you paint?

Not really

But I do want to paint

but I think that

I am afraid of somethings

like if I couldn't do it

So if you don't do it, how would you know?

because you know only when you try

You are right

but maybe now

after taking all these responsibilties

I am tired

that I can't take new burdens

You cannot measure your age with the years

You can only age yourself by measuring how much tired had you soul has become

I think that I am tired

and I don't want to trey out new things

Making new wishes and trying to fulfill them

this is a big hassel

You shoud comeplete the ones you have

So who is Rabia?

What and who is Rabia?

How would you define yourself?

I think of myself as a lover

What is success?

When you feel happy

Whn you are calm

when you are at peace

that is success for me

because for me what success was

I got there

but after getting there, I don't consider myself like a successful person

So what does this mean?

I have seen a lot of successfull people

they get what they want but they are not very happy

if our own

I have seen a lot of hollywood people

let alone Lollywood

People reached their peaks there

but then they committed suicide

So what is there that makes you anxious

this means that success is something else

They don't have peace in their mind and heart

or in the soul

That is called success

SO I want that kind of a success

And failure?

This is failure

that what you think

you want and you get it

but you don't get happy

there is no bigger failure than that

So these things stay together

Failure and success

like the 2 sides of the same picture

Yes, like the sides of a coin

So we are going to see you in future

A person who is living on lands

and is growing crops

because you are still not sure where you are going to go

Yes, I don't know it

Are you here or not

I am, as much as I should be

a little less then that

but I am

And what is death

Death

When you breathe only

being alive

that is death

Breathing is not life

Living is life

So every person is a dead body for me

who only breathes

Thats death

Do you thing about death?

I have seen it with my own eyes

So did you understand it?

People call it the ultimate truth

I don't believe that

if some one is being buried, he is dead

I think that someone who loves that person

its their death

not of the person who is being buried

I think that he is begining a new life

I mea we don't know about this

but those people die at that moment

You should go and see in the homes where someone had died

Those people are the ones who die

I have seen death

I saw it through my mother

and I didn't see my mother leaving, instead I saw myself leaving

But its not like this

People shouldn't think that love is a very painful thing

and that I am talking as if its a very painful thing

Nothing is more beautiful than love

because it forces you to live your life on specific moments

and if humans wouldn't love, they can commit suicide

Indeed

The one who lives

I think suicide need a lot of bravery

All of us just casually say this

that he was a coward hence he committed suicide

I think that

embracing death with your own hands

its a brave thing to do

Yes I know what a person must be thinking at that time

That he had to choose death

and they think that life has become worse then death

this is a very brave thing to do

Like if I cut myself right now

I would be in extreme pain

I wouldn't tolerate because I don't have patience

I think that this cowardice

There are 2ways of looking at it

I think that it is so precious

It is so beacutiful

How can you give up?

How can you go before you are called?

Maybe its there time to go then

it might look that way

because being a muslim, we accept this

that you cannot die if its not your time

So I think it just became an excuse for death

but I think this act of killing yourself

I think you need to be brave heart

But you have to be more brave to live

as compared for death

Living in itself is a big

It is a difficult thing to do

Rabia I wish you

a jungle of your own

that has many trees

and it has a river, and beside it you have a small cottage

Be my guest

and one day

someone loses their way in that jungle

and they find you

This can also happen

and you have children of you own

and we come to meet them too

I don't agree with the children thing because raising them in such a small age

I actually don't wish for children

Anything can happen

Yes I agree

because life is full of suprises

and I hope that

at every corner

you get a surprise in life

filled with happiness

Thank you so much for having me

It was a pleasure

I enjoyed a lot

Things you should know about warehousing & fulfilllment - Top 7 - Duration: 3:05.

Hi, Wes from Printful here!

Today, let's look at 7 things you should know about Printful's Warehousing & Fulfillment

service and how it can help you during the holiday shopping frenzy!

Number one - what is Warehousing & Fulfillment?

It's a service that lets you store your entire inventory at our warehouse, and we'll

pack and ship them to your customers under your brand when orders come in.

When the holiday season comes around, it can take a lot of work off your hands.

Number two - it helps you save time to focus on the holiday season itself!

With Warehousing & Fulfillment, you leave all the hard parts of running your store to

us.

We take care of order fulfillment, packing and shipping your products, so you have more

time to spend on customer support, marketing, designing, and all the other enjoyable parts

of running your own store.

This is especially important during peak season when you'll want to focus most of your attention

to getting sales, and making sure that your store runs smoothly and that your customers

are happy.

Number three - our warehouses are located on two continents.

We offer warehousing at our fulfillment center in Charlotte, North Carolina, and our Europe

location in Riga, Latvia.

This way, you can reach customers all over the world with ease.

So no matter where your buyers looking for holiday gifts are located at, they will be

able to get their hands on your awesome products.

Number four - we offer same-day fulfillment for warehouse orders.

If an order that contains only warehouse items is submitted before 2PM by Charlotte or Riga

time, depending on where you store your goods, it will be fulfilled and shipped out on the

same day.

If something happens and we don't fulfill an order that qualifies for same-day fulfillment

on time, we'll automatically refund the order fulfillment fee.

And, generally, orders containing warehouse items only are fulfilled in one business day.

Quick fulfillment times will be especially important for buyers who leave their holiday

shopping to the last moment (we've all been there) - this way, even they can manage to

get their items in time.

Number five - with warehousing, you can take advantage of our shipping prices.

Since we handle large number of orders every day, we've negotiated special prices with

the carriers we work with.

If you use our warehousing service, you too get access to these prices even if you don't

use our print-on-demand service.

Plus, it's always easier to manage your shipping settings if your items are fulfilled

by the same partner.

Number six - we use smart packaging when sorting items into shipments.

Smart packaging means that whenever it's possible items from the same order are shipped

together.

This way, customers can get their items more effectively, and they don't have to be on

the lookout for many different packages if they order more than one item from you.

Number seven - you can also order Printful's print or embroidery products in bulk and stock

them at our warehouse right after fulfillment.

If you have a popular design that's sure to be a best-seller during the holiday season,

order it in bulk in advance, and have it stocked at our warehouse after fulfillment.

This way, you'll significantly cut fulfillment times during peak season, which means happier

customers who will get their goodies faster.

Make sure to check out our blog for more information on how warehousing can help you during the

holiday season - the link's in the description below.

NFL Moneyline Betting - Duration: 1:03.

Money line betting is one of the simplest ways to get a piece of the action during football season

All you need to do is bet on the team you think is gonna win the game outright. It sounds easy, right?

Let's take a look in an example

Say the New England Patriots are at home against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football

You might see something like this in the Bovada sportsbook

New Orleans Saints +325 New England Patriots - 450

The Patriots are an NFL powerhouse that are always tough to beat on the home field

So they go in as heavy favorites as indicated by the negative sign in front of their odds

They're also the home team. So they're listed at the bottom odds - 450 mean that you would need to bet

$450 on the Pats to win $100

Whereas if you put down $100 on the underdog Saints and they come up big you'll walk away with a cool $325

If you're serious about your football money line betting is a must-have in your betting arsenal

I Apologize for Talking While You Were Talking - Tiger Woods & Gritty the Mascot | The Daily Show - Duration: 3:49.

There was a lot of big sports news in the past few days

So let's check in with Roy Wood Jr.

and Michael Kosta for another edition

of I Apologize for Talking While You Were Talking.

-♪ ♪ -(cheering and applause)

Like that cold sore on your daddy's lip,

we are back, sports fans.

-I'm Roy Wood Jr. -And I'm Michael Kosta Jr.

-Oh! -Look, football season is in full swing,

and there have been some crazy stories.

Last week, Buffalo Bills' Vontae Davis retired

-in the middle of a game. -Retired?

Sure, so Capital One is a large bank in the U.S.--credit cards, banks, auto loans, all

those sorts of things--and has been leaning heavy into the digital space and, in particular,

into the intelligent assistant space, which is what we're here to talk about today.

Now, you're the VP of conversational AI products.

That's right.

Tell us what that means and what you do.

In practice, what does that involve?

Sure.

We build digital products.

In my case, they're in the conversational AI space, which means that they have artificial

intelligence behind them and that they interact with customers in a conversation.

Very often, customers can speak or text in natural language and interface with Capital

One through an AI.

Sometimes it's our own, which we call Eno.

We'll talk about that in a bit.

Sometimes it's through a parent AI, like an Alexa, Cortona, or something like that.

Now, Ken, as the VP of conversational AI products, what's the scope of your responsibilities?

Sure.

The products I just mentioned are all live today.

We were the first bank to release a skill on the Amazon Alexa platform that enabled

customers to ask Alexa about their accounts and get information, even pay their bill all

through voice.

We extended that skill over to the Cortona platform run by Microsoft.

Last year, we turned out attention a little bit towards the text space, and so we were

the first bank to release a natural language chatbot or intelligent assistant through the

SMS channel.

Customers can text Eno, our intelligent assistant, and ask questions about their accounts, when

is their bill due, pay their bill, and so forth, all through the familiarity of what

we all do every day, which is texting.

Why is conversational AI so important to Capital One?

Yeah, it's a few things.

First of all, Capital One is a very tech-forward company.

We're the first bank to go to the cloud.

We're the first, or one of the first, banks to have an API-based infrastructure that powers

all of our digital experiences.

We're always looking for ways to use technology to improve the customer experience.

In conversational AI, it used to be that you could either come to our graphical user interface,

which would be an app or a website, where we, in some ways, try to guess what it is

you're looking for, right?

You have a certain finite number of buttons and links to click on or tap on.

In the conversational interface, it's whatever is on your mind.

You can just text in natural language, and then we're able to start with that rather

than starting with all the guesswork.

It's a great complement to GUI experiences, and it's also a great way to interact with

customers without having to pull them into our uber website or app.

Is it mostly a function of user experience?

Is that your goal, or are there other goals as well?

Well, there are fantastic business and customer benefits to conversational AI.

There are three things going on here.

The first one is, we have a recent emergence in natural language processing technology.

Not too many years ago, we just couldn't understand customers, what the intent of their spoken

or typed utterances were in the way that we can today.

That advancement has enabled these experiences to reach a threshold where they're actually

useful.

The second thing is the availability of data.

Our ability to get answers and connect into our API infrastructure, the same one that

powers our websites and apps, is at a place now where we can use real-time context to

adapt the conversation, so it is more conversational and not just a predetermined conversation

that wouldn't feel very human.

Then the third thing, in addition to the NLP and the data, is the proliferation of the

Internet of Things devices.

Whereas in the not too distant past it was pretty much a website or an app that you were

going to interact with Capital One through, or else you were going to call the call center.

Now we have things like Alexa that use voice-enabled touchpoints with the customer within their

car, in their living room, or wherever they put those connected devices that enable interaction.

Also, since we don't have to have a GUI come with us wherever we want to interact with

customers, since we can do it simply through natural language, we can go to places like

text messaging, messaging apps, and other similar things where the interaction is all

just natural language.

Even emojis, right?

Who would have thought you'd be paying your bill with a thumbs-up emoji, but that's what

we've enabled, and customers have gravitated to?

Ken, I certainly can see very quickly the user experience value here, but can you elaborate

on the business value as well?

Sure.

Every company that has a large customer service need is looking for ways to get customers

to A) not have problems and B) be able to self-service in digital.

There are business benefits to that.

The other one is, there are lots of micro examples where this is helpful.

You can imagine people coming to our websites and, instead of just having to look around

and not finding what they need, they can actually ask and get to what they need to do, which

leads to a lot of desired business behaviors.

They're actually paying their bill; they're actually enrolling in paperless statements;

whatever it is that is a desired customer behavior.

I'll give you another one that's kind of interesting.

Like every bank, we have a fraud alert that goes out.

That fraud alert is very rigid just because of when it was created where it will say,

"Hey, we noticed a suspicious charge on your account.

Text us back "confirm" or "deny" whether or not it was yours.

If you text back "confirm" or "deny," everything is great.

If you fat finger it, you make a typo, or you try to say something like "yes" or, as

we've seen in our logs, "Yes, that's the pair of shoes I bought when I was visiting my sister

in Philadelphia last weekend," we don't understand any of it."

You can imagine the business benefit of being able to understand these things that the customer

is saying so that, if there is a fraud event, we can turn off the card and take corrective

actions more quickly so that the fraud stops.

Now, maybe this is a very basic question, but what's the difference between the type

of AI that you're talking about that has access to data and has built-in intelligence?

How is that different from the simplistic chatbot that every website has got these days?

Well, a few things.

One is, we're very niche, right?

We are building an intelligent financial assistant.

We found when we were building Eno, we used some off-the-shelf natural language processing

solutions that were okay.

We gravitated to, "Hey, if we train it on banking, we'll find that it's better at banking

than the off-the-shelf ones."

It's terrible at everything else.

It doesn't know sports and things like that.

But, we really home in on the types of things that our customers are looking to do, and

we have very short conversations about prioritization because we know exactly what customers want

to do with Eno by what they text in, right?

You're always guessing on a website and such, but we have great data on that.

The other side of how it's different is that Eno will reach out to you.

We like to say the call center rarely calls you as a customer, but Eno will reach out

to you in the moments that matter in the channel that works for you because Eno is always minding

your money and thinking about it even when you're not.

The same things you would want from a human personal financial assistant will be accomplished

through our virtual one.

Your development goal then was to create a very narrowly focused AI that had a great

deal of depth inside that narrow focus about which you care.

That's right.

That's right because, look, I have great empathy for the folks who are at the big five tech

companies working on Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant and some others where they're trying to answer

any question about anything, which is a really hard problem to solve.

We have a more narrow focus and can achieve, I think, some higher levels of success in

our niche because we're so focused.

Now, you mentioned that there's a combination of products that you've developed in-house,

as well as external products.

Is that correct?

We've worked with various vendors along the way and come up with a mix of homegrown technology

and some other things.

Look, we generally build things ourselves at Capital One.

We leverage the fact that we're in the cloud, we have this API-based infrastructure, and

sort of a passion for open source software.

We tend to leverage the great talent we have on the team to build things and let the customer

experience guide us.

Your enterprise, your underlying enterprise architecture facilitates what you're doing

with AI.

Absolutely.

The same technology that powers our websites and apps and authentication is leveraged in

the conversational AI products that we release.

The part that's new is that the inbound activity by the customer comes in natural language

and the response comes in either voice or text or a mix of maybe text and GUI based

upon where you're interacting.

We have our Cortana skill, our Alexa skill, and our Eno SMS chatbot all running on the

same platform right now, which is great.

Did you hire people to do things like natural language processing?

We haven't gone public with how we've built each component of the Eno experience.

But, again, we went out and looked at what we were trying to do from a vision standpoint

and said, "Hey, there are some places where we feel like we have the expertise and other

places we want to bring it in."

I'll give you a couple of examples.

To work on natural language processing, we brought in one of the lead engineers who helped

build the first AI to win on Jeopardy.

When we were thinking about the character of Eno, we kind of looked around and said,

"Well, we're a bank.

We don't really build characters," and so we went out and hired a woman with a lot of

experience in working with characters from Pixar to come in and give us a backstory for

Eno, some character traits, and some consistent personality so, as you interact with Eno,

you don't have one personality in one place and one personality in another.

That's really interesting.

Yeah, it's been a fun journey.

We certainly had to stretch our skillsets to succeed in this space.

It sounds, as well, like this is a strategic mandate of the organization to develop these

types of technology products.

What are the kind of metrics related to AI that you track?

There are a lot of similarities between what you would track on mobile apps, for example,

but one of them we look at is a customer success rate.

We want to know, customers who start interacting with Eno, whether it's through a proactive

outreach by Eno or a customer's inbound outreach, did they achieve their goal?

We look at--whether it's a direct answer from Eno or Eno steering them to a certain place--how

can we continue to improve the ability for Eno to provide the customer with what they're

looking for?

That's a function both of the technology as well as the data and the way that you're using

the data?

Yeah.

Everything is data driven.

There is some subjectivity sometimes around the edges but, like I said, we have short

conversations about what the customer is looking for now because there's just such a great

insight into what the customer is thinking at any given time.

Now, what about your call centers?

You mentioned that this is a complement to your existing contact centers.

The contact centers remain unchanged?

These are just additional channels that customers can talk with you?

That's right.

I think the call center folks are actually excited about the deployment of machine learning

to enhance what they're doing.

Certainly, anything that can predict what types of issues a customer might be calling

about to help route them more efficiently to the agent who can give them their answer

to cue up the right systems that get them to the information they need all is value-add

and allows them to spend more of their time doing the higher value human side of servicing

customers versus trying to do that simple navigation stuff.

The level of investment that you've placed here obviously is very significant, which

means that you must have ways of evaluating your progress and evaluating how do we know

if we're being successful here or not.

Mm-hmm.

Could you share with us some of those mechanisms for evaluating what you're doing?

Sure.

Not unlike most of our products, our digital products, we want to know, do people use it;

do they love it?

Adoption being one?

Sure.

What's interesting is that, when we launched Eno as an SMS intelligent assistant, it's

different than launching an app in that, when you launch an app, it comes with all the infrastructure

of, well, you're in an app store now and you have ratings and reviews and places where

people can leave those ratings and reviews.

We didn't have that, but we wanted it, so we actually stood up our own.

We solicit customer feedback, and we post it up on a webpage.

The feedback so far has been surprisingly positive for a product that's in a nascent

stage.

I think it has north of 4.5 out of 5 stars, and we see people enjoying the fact that it's

another way for them to get access to information very quickly, get their questions answered,

and they can ask, particularly if it's something like, "Well, this might be on the website.

I'm not sure.

Let me just ask, and I can find out if it's there or not before I invest the time it takes

to make a phone call or what have you."

Are there specific technologies that you see coming down the pike that are important?

Sure.

I think there's the natural language processing, which is very good at deriving a customer's

intent, where you can then go and give them a response.

There are a lot of advances starting to take place along dialog management and natural

language generation.

These types of things are still in the formative stage, but they allow conversations to not

just be natural from a question and answer standpoint, but more of a conversation that

can go in many directions, which is more of how human conversations go.

We're excited about those.

We're monitoring them.

We do some of our own research on them.

I think they'll be a driving force in the years to come.

We've been talking with Ken Dodelin, who is the vice president of conversational AI products

at Capital One.

Ken, thanks so much for taking time with us today.

Thanks for having me, Michael.

Everybody, go to our website, don't forget to subscribe on YouTube, and I want you right

now to tell all of your friends and your family that they should watch, and they should subscribe

too.

Anne Goes To Legazpi - Duration: 23:03.

hello my love's! good morning! so today is September 22 and I decided to vlog

because I'm going to the Legazpi to meet up with my husband. he's been away for a

month already and I really really miss him so since his project there is almost done

we decided to stay there for a couple of days and of course in our small adventures

I wanted you guys to be with us.

So I just finished packing my things. as you guys can see I'll just bring with me a backpack

then my camera because probably we are going to stay there for two days

we are just going to roam around Legazpi and of course I will Vlog for you to see the beauty of Legazpi.

because we haven't vlog their yet. So I decided

to take this opportunity to bring you guys with me so as you guys can see

I still look haggard but I will start getting ready and I'll talk to you again later.

Ok guys, so I'm done getting ready and I think that we are all set.

I'm going to the van terminal because I'm just going to commute and we still have to wait for the van to be filled.

I'm just going to check the things that I'm going to bring because I might forget something

And then, we are leaving the house.

Hello guys! So today, as you guys can see, I have a different background

And we are currently staying at Altura Bay Suites.

And I just wanted to get ready with you guys and talk to you for a bit because I'm alone here.

Fuoe, my husband, went out because he still have to work

But later, we are roaming around

By the way, how are you?

So far this is my second day. I went here yesterday

And I did my intro but when I arrived here, I wasn't able to vlog because I was so tired

But last night, we went to SM Legazpi and we ate at Zarks

As I've said, we are currently staying at Altura Bay Suites and the view here is so beautiful!

later, I will be doing a room tour and then later,

I plan to talk to the owner because she's downstairs and maybe we can ask permission if we can

see the other rooms so that if ever you guys visit Legazpi,

atleast you will have an idea where you can stay because their rooms are very affordable

We are currently staying at their Single Room

but the bed is big and it can fit me and my husband so we decided to stay here

because tomorrow we are already leaving so it's practical for us to rent the single room.

This room costs 950 pesos if you're staying here alone but you need to add 500 pesos for the additional person

The room is a bit small but it can fit 2 persons.

So, if ever you guys are planning to visit legazpi, atleast

you guys will have an idea on where you can stay at a very affordable price and clean place where you can stay

If you are a traveller or a tourist.

By the way, I didn't bring a lot of makeup today

usually, on a daily basis, I don't apply too much makeup so I didn't bring them.

And we are also planning to buy some makeup at SM Legazpi

because there might be brands that is not available in Naga so we are going to roam around

the malls here in Legazpi to find some makeup that we can review on our channel.

I think that, me showing you guys sometimes that I don't

have makeup on will also give guys the confidence for you to do the same thing

because even though I'm a makeup artist and I'm a beauty bloggers as well and it's my

job for me to apply a lot of makeup on my face but I don't want that every single time

I also wanted to look natural

even though I have a lot of skin imperfections. You guys have seen my skin, right? You still have to be confident

with your own skin. Because naturally, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Remember that.

If you think that you are not perfect, nobody is perfect so don't worry, you are not alone.

And then, don't be insecure because that can cause self-esteem issues

Comparing yourself to other people will also affect their self-confidence so don't do that.

sometimes we want to enhance it but it doesn't mean that you will focus on that all the time

There are more important things in life.

By the way, I watched Sierra Burgess is a Loser and I loved that movie!

So, if you haven't seen that movie, you have to watch it because it's really good! In my own opinion.

You can get a really good message from that movie. Aside from the message that you shouldn't pretend,

be who you are and be confident with yourself

But in real life, sometimes, people feel that way

specially people that has a lot of insecurities,

I myself have experienced that because as I've said, I gained a lot of weight

And sometimes, you will lose the confidence that you have in yourself

once that happened and you are being bullied because of that and your

self- esteem becomes low. So, sometimes you feel like other people

will not like you for who you are. Maybe that's the reason why Sierra

pretended to be Veronica when she talked to Jamey. But I don't agree to what she did.

She shouldn't have lied to Jamey. She should have told him the truth.

right in the bat. But I can understand where she's coming from

since she doesn't have self-confidence, maybe she thought that Jamey wouldn't like her.

In reality, even though people says that appearance or looks doesn't matter,

it matters because it's the first thing that other people sees so sometimes

that became the basis for us to judge other people. That's why,

people specially who have low self-esteem, they have to pretend to be somebody that they are not

so that the community or society will accept them.

I don't know what I'm talking about anymore. I am talking a lot and when I look at my brows, I forgot the things that I wanted to say.

But please watch that movie because it will give you a good moral lesson

Pardon me guys if I am talking so much because I don't have anyone to talk to since I am all alone.

I went here to spend time with my husband but now, I am still alone here in our hotel

But it's fine. I do understand. Sometimes it's like that, specially if you are already married.

Because if you are not going to work, or you don't want your wife/ husband to leave, it's not practical

because you needed money to survive. So, you have to let each other do

what's going to be the best for the both of you. But at first, I was like that.

I am always doubting him when he leaves and I don't allow him to work away from home.

but as the time goes by, I realize my mistakes in our relationship. That I should

to trust your partner and you have to think about the future because

if you're always together, but you don't have money to support your family, how will you survive, right?

So, usually that's what I do when I get ready. And I will just apply some lip tint or a lipstick then I'm done.

And sometimes, I only apply a powder. If you haven't watched my review on this one,

I'll just put the link at the description box or a card up here so that it will be easier for you to watch it.

So, how about you besh? How are you? What are the things that you wanted to share?

Please share it at the comment box so that we will be able to talk about it.

Because I wanted to answer some of your questions on videos like this.

By the way, earlier when I woke up, I've read one of the comments on my video that he/she is correcting

my english pronunciation on the video. So, our mother tongue is Bicol

so please pardon me if sometimes, I mispronounce the words in english

because that is not our mother tongue or that is not the language that we are

using I know that I am not perfect but I am really trying my best to communicate

with all of you guys and whenever I'm speaking in Tagalog I try to put a

subtitle because I also want for my international subscribers to enjoy my

videos I am trying my very best even if I am not that good in speaking in English byt

thank you so much for, you know, correcting me on my pronunciation,

because that is the right thing to do so yeah that's it for the get ready with me

video. I'll just go out for a bit and I am going to look for a place where I can eat since my husband called

and he said that he can't join me since they are still working.

so yeah, i'll see you guys again later.

if you're planning to visit Legaspi we also have a coffee

showed you guys earlier they also have superior rooms

this room has air conditioner on cable TV free Wi-Fi access a double bed and a

comfort room this room costs two thousand two hundred pesos with

complimentary breakfast the next room is their twin room and this room cost one

thousand nine hundred pesos again with complimentary breakfast it has the same

amenities as the other rooms but the only difference is the size of the bed

because this room has two single beds and lasts either quadruple room which

costs two thousand seven hundred pesos this room can accommodate four persons

or five persons maximum again with the same amenities but it has two double

deck beds you will need to add five hundred pesos for additional

but complimentary breakfast is already included so if every you guys are

Depth of Extinction Review - Duration: 9:15.

Depth of Extinction is touting itself as a cross between FTL and X-Com and it's hard

to argue with them on that.

The overworld map is a system of nodes that leads to turn based squad combat.

The parallels are obvious but I don't want to make the comparison because how could they

compare?

Depth of Extinction doesn't have the depth of either of those games.

It's focus is much more action oriented, with its speedy combat.

As someone who doesn't have a lot of patience, I like it though.

Although this will discourage some from playing it.

To start Depth of Extinction lays it on thick.

The death of the human race is imminent!

It's your job to explore the world and collect the key items to save it.

The opening scene is actually pretty good and I have a lot of questions.

Anyway, at the highest view the world is broken up into a few zones.

Each zone has several objectives that are just missions.

Once you start a mission you have to select your load out by choosing a submarine and

your troops.

There are different subs to choose from, standard, armored, or one that carries more fuel.

Depending on how much cash you're willing to fork over.

Next you select who you want to take, if you don't have enough people then mercenaries

will gladly come along for a price.

Your troops start off really green so it's best to take a merc on your first few missions.

Then you're taken to a map with several nodes that you must work through to get to

your objective.

Surprise!

Those nodes actually lead to more nodes that are the actual encounters.

If this is a bit confusing, I agree.

Do we really needs nodes in nodes?

Once the initial confusion wears off it's not that bad.

Just head in the direction of your goal.

What it does though is obfuscate how much fuel you're going to need.

Since each node takes one fuel to get to, it would be ill advised to spend more than

you need to.

I can't tell if the game wants me to hang around and clear everything or finish quick.

I always have extra fuel at the end of a mission and I don't get compensated for it.

The extra fuel isn't usable on the next mission either.

Now I'm not sure if the nodes in nodes was done to simplify the map or to limit the player's

knowledge.

On PC there's plenty of room for the whole map and fuel is the only thing you have to

worry about.

There's no other external forces driving you to your goal.

Anyway, it's not that big of a deal just weird.

The nodes are random but give a context as to what you might expect from them.

But as you play of course you start notice and predict what will happen.

Most of the time it's raiders though and that means a fight!

As the difficulty increases your objective will take more nodes to reach.

This forces you into more combat and some concerns with fuel.

However, Depth of Extinction doesn't give any hard deadlines so you can replay easier

missions as many times as you want until you build up your bank and your team.

If you can do these easier missions, which can be boring, then you'll be much better

off in the long run.

The missions themselves are fairly straightforward.

Kill all enemies, rescue a hostage, or investigate the facility.

The objective might be slightly different but the tactics are the same for each.

Head in and clear whatever it is room by room.

Enemies stay inside their rooms until you open the door.

No matter how much noise you make!

It's more like a couple of small fights instead of one giant facility fight.

If the objective is different than murdering everyone than you might even be able to skip

a room.

There are a few exceptions though.

One time I ran into a facility only to have the raiders show up and block my path to the

sub so the goal was to escape.

That was fun!

And bosses are a pure headon attack where you slog it out shot for shot until one side

is dead.

These types of missions are rare but really interesting.

One of the more surprising aspects of the game is the static defences of the facilities.

I can't tell why but these will activate and can attack you or the raiders!

What a delight when I found this out.

It's a very cool inclusion and throws some uncertainty into the fights which could go

both ways.

Do you destroy it quickly or hope it kills your enemy?

Awesome stuff.

So, the tactics are to move slow and make sure to cover all the angles.

Overwatch seems particularly powerful and having one person that can be lead while the

others hang back is a very good strategy.

If you rush in and you're alone then all enemies will attack one soldier.

Turned based combat keeps it strategic since you need to carefully take each turn and focus

the correct enemy.

You'll want to down the enemies as fast as possible so they won't get your most

precious resource, health.

Health items are extremely limited and when you start it's a huge issue.

So keeping players safe is often more important but there are opportunities for enemies to

one shot you later in the game, that's painful.

Side note, while you need to reload your gun the soldiers carry unlimited ammo.

This changes how you handle fights and you'll be much less concerned about wasting ammo

even with a low hit chance.

You'll take a lot more shots.

Of course Depth of Extinction has eight classes for you to choose from and that comes with

customizable gear.

The classes are pretty cool and have their own style of play.

I'm surprised there are classes that work in close range.

I have a shotgunner that opens all the doors and runs in to shoot raiders at point blank

range.

Pretty funny.

As your soldiers progress they can level up and you can pick where to spend their points.

Choosing a class only changes the last progression bar and by putting points into it you can

give them unique skills.

I really like the upgrade system and find it easy to customize the soldiers the way

I want.

I always try and give them more health and movement speed.

And more vision on my sniper.

But maybe your team doesn't even have a sniper, you can do whatever you want.

As I mentioned in the intro I like how quick the combat plays out.

I don't have a ton of patience and an encounter can be finished in five to ten minutes.

Customizing my team means I am invested in keeping them alive, even if I can't change

their names.

As you get further into the game it does get more difficult.

I have encountered much stronger enemies now and I'm a little concerned my team isn't

up to snuff.

If I was going to complain about anything it would be that the story is spaced too far

out.

I played one story mission right away and then the next one is at a hard difficulty.

Where's the medium story mission?

Jumping straight from easy to hard keeps me from experiencing the story for far too long.

I'm losing interest.

Depth of Extinction has a strong opening and I wish it felt like the side missions were

not a way to exaggerate the game length.

Also, I worry that with all of these battles it's going to get too repetitive.

Right now I don't mind but you'll have so many fights with raiders it could get annoying.

I wish there was a bigger diversity with the nodes.

I already stopped reading the text a long time ago.

I can't really tell if charging in or going in quiet really does anything different.

Overall, I like Depth of Extinction.

It's a fun little turned based combat game that has some good randomization.

I really enjoy the soldier customization and snappy combat.

Over time I'm sure the many encounters will get tedious but so far that hasn't happened.

I'm pretty invested in keeping this team alive.

Keep in mind that I'm not typically someone who plays strategy games but I do play roguelikes.

That said I feel confident recommending Depth of Extinction if it looks cool to you.

I play enough bad games to know this one isn't one of them.

Neil Pasricha on the simplest things you can do to be happier - Duration: 3:41.

- What are the simplest things I can do to be happy?

Well, here's my first question, do you have an hour?

Can you give me an hour?

No, this YouTube video is not going to be an hour long,

I'm just going to give you three things that each take

20 minutes. If you can do them for an hour,

I guarantee that an hour from now,

you are going to feel in a better mood.

All the three things are simple, they are easy,

and they will get this done.

Number one, get outside and go on a brisk 20 minute

nature walk. Okay? A research report from Michael Babyak

and team published in the Journal of Psychosomatic Medicine

showed that brisk nature walks actually outperformed

antidepressants and more interestingly,

the combination of antidepressants and nature walks.

I'm saying just the walking alone outperforms the other two,

so first thing you gotta do is put on your running shoes,

go outside, find a forest, find some trees

and just walk around, okay, preferably with

no lawn mower in the background for yourself.

Number two, when you get home,

that's 20 minutes, you got 20 more minutes,

I want you to do the 20 minute replay.

This means you get out a pen or a pencil,

you get out some paper and you journal for 20 minutes

about one highlight of your day,

earlier this day or from yesterday.

You say hey, it was so great, I was out in the park,

the lawn mower drove far away, the sound went down.

Whatever you want, just write it down

because you know what happens,

your mind has something called the visual cortex in it.

There's an area in it called area 17,

when the lawn mower drives away that area lights up,

when they write about the lawn mower driving away,

that area lights up again, when I read my own journal

about the lawn mower driving away,

that area lights up a third time.

That's why I call it the 20 minutes replay,

because you are are replaying to yourself

the highlights of your day.

By the way research on journaling was done by

Slatcher and Pennebaker down at the University of Texas

and they found that couples in a relationship were 50%

more likely to stay together in their relationship

if they simply journaled for two weeks, okay.

Number three, now you're 40 minutes deep with me now,

you got 20 minutes left, here's my

final piece of homework for you.

Read 20 pages of fiction,

read 20 pages of fiction.

According to a 2011 report in the

Annual Review of Psychology, reading fiction fires your

mirror neurons, yeah, I'm using neuroscience to answer all

this stuff for you guys today,

because you know what, you gotta use the latest research

in order to prove this to your left-brain-self, okay.

You don't think that reading 20 pages of fiction,

you think I don't got time for that, I don't got time to

read, "Are You There, God, It's Me, Margaret" by Judy Blume.

Yes, you do, you need time, you need to make that time

because it will make you feel better.

When you're lying in bed with Margaret, talking to God

you feel like you're there, those mirror neurons fire.

If you're reading "The Boys in the Boat",

you're a boy in the boat,

if you're reading "Hamilton", you feel like Hamilton.

So we know from the research that empathy, compassion,

sympathy, and understanding in yourself all increases.

A reader lives 1000 lives before he dies,

a man who never reads lives only one.

20 pages of fiction takes you into another life

and it absolves you a little bit

and it makes your worry less about your own problems.

To summarize, go on a brisk 20 minute nature walk,

do a 20 minute replay of journaling about something awesome

in your day, and finally read 20 pages of fiction.

If you can do those three things, taking one hour

come talk to me, leave me a comment at the end,

tell me how you feel, I guarantee you,

you will feel better and you will feel happier.

Abertura da primeira biblioteca lusófona em Düsseldorf - Alemanha - Duration: 15:34.

Today the Turne Show will really talk about culture

we are in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the opening of the first Portuguese language library in the city

we will interview the Prof. Stella Maris, who create this project

and the Consul General of Portugal, Mr. José Mendes

who gave a lot of support so this project could happen and you will watch now on Turne Show

I would like to thank to all people that donate with all their hearts the books for this library

so it could be inaugurated today

and this home that always received us so well, through this opportunity,

can be a place where our dreams came true

Once again, Consul General, we appreciate it very much

and remembering the great poet Castro Alves:

****Prof Stella Maris recites a poem****

and now we have the pleasure and the joy

to be with the Prof. Stella Maris, who created the project

the Portuguese language library

that will benefit so many people, right?

it's true...

how did you come up with this idea, how did you create this project?

good evening, thank you very much for the invite

I thank you!

this library is part of the project "Sempre Viva Lingua Portuguesa", which is the current name,

and was created in 2008

the idea to create this program was...

yes, it was created long time ago, 10 years now as you mentioned before

exactly... it started as an idea.... well a non scientific observation

here in the city of Düsseldorf

where I noticed that the number of marriages between partners of different nationalities

was increasing every year

so, because of these marriages, with people living here in Düsseldorf

a lot of families started to ask me where they could find a Portuguese course

how their children could attend playful groups with Portuguese language

so we started to work on the idea

at that time I used to teach Portuguese as a foreign language

and the "Sociedade Brasil Alemanha" was also created at that time in our region and also in the Rhein-Ruhr area

I was part of this first moment when they created the "Sociedade Brasil Alemanha"

and during the first year of this association, we create some groups

like a cultural group, women's group and also for children

and this children's group was led by the mothers, the mothers of these children

there were five mothers

and in the end of the pilot project, so to say, they created a book called "Pelo Brasil Afora"

so, in order to keep this children's group going,

we divided this group in two

so when the children became teenagers,

started to take Portuguese classes with me, you know?

so you could see all the steps of these children

exactly

these children were already growing up, how they started to integrate in the German culture

and how they were dealing with the culture at home, right?

yes, exactly

this is very important, it is the basics

because children of marriages between partners of different nationalities and bilingual children

need to be strengthened each day in the process of identity

to be able to recognise their values, their beliefs

the traditions of both countries

so, being so far away like we are

and make possible that these children and teenagers can attend classes in a very original way

it is indeed a great privilege

so, this group was divided in two, the smaller ones started to learn

through a partnership I did with the ASG Bildungsforum in Düsseldorf

and we have this children's group now for ten years

and the teenagers formed another group

and there was always a question

I had kids from three to six years old, from eleven to fifteen years old,

but I had no kids from seven to ten years old

so that's when we started the library project

so, we have the Portuguese classes as foreign language and as a language of inheritance

we noticed the need to meet other teachers and professors to exchange experiences

which is happening now for three years in partnership with VHS in Düsseldorf

but there was still something missing

which was the library...

and today we have the inauguration of it

the dream that became true

exactly, so the program has these three steps

so first one is the family contact and playful group, until the child learns completely how to write and read

and also cultural and educational development for the official tests

the teachers and professors meetings, to exchange experiences

where you have the opportunity to exchange all your experiences

and also to question the new methodologies

to know what is going on in the market

and without a doubt , to have this integration with the teachers of the Portuguese language world

and the third part is the library

because we have this lack of access to books, specially textbooks for children and teenagers, you know?

and through the campaign we did last year called "Além do Oceano" in Brasil

and we still have this campaign

and a lot of people started to donate the books, immediately

authors, schools, private people as well

in a very spontaneous and generous way and these books are here now

this is wonderful... we hope for the success of this library

for this beautiful project

congratulations Stella for the creation and for everything you did and still do here

because when we see what we have today, this library, this dream that came true,

you have to be really proud of it, congratulations!

well, I thank to all our community

I thank all the staff, all the teachers and professors who worked the last ten years with me and with us

who worked as volunteers

many of these teachers are volunteers until today

so we could make this dream come true

I am deeply grateful to each one of these people that directly or indirectly was part of this project

wish you all the success, and to our culture and our language

thank you very much

thank you for so much love and caring

like I was saying, this act of symbolism is just the beginning

but it is only the beginning if you want this to happen

if you keep contributing so all these initiatives grow and multiply

and so that the civic participation of all

in this community and other Portuguese speaker communities be a reality

thank you very much for coming!

after the speeches and the inauguration of the library

we have the honor to receive the Consul General of Portugal, Mr. José Mendes,

thank you very much

the first question I would like to know from you, Consul General, is

how did you get involved in this project?

it was very interesting the way I got involved in this project

but first I would like to thank you for being here, at the General Consulate

I would like to compliment your work as well

communicating all the cultural initiatives like we have here today

in the Portuguese speakers community

but I know that you have been doing a good job supporting and promoting the Brazilian community

and its cultural events

that's why I would like to congratulate you as well and thank you for your presence here

I got involved in this project at the moment I met Prof. Stella Maris,

the president of the program "Sempre Viva Lingua Portuguesa",

she got in contact with me

and she said that she had some books,

to start a library with them,

a library with only Portuguese speakers writers, with books in Portuguese language only

and she had to place for the books

and she asked directly if there was a place here, in the General Consulate

although is the General Consulate of Portugal,

so, if I would have a place here for these books to be so to say "welcomed" in a library

in a library for Portuguese language only

as a matter of fact, I also had a similar idea with regards to several books we already had here

from the Instituto Camoes

that's wonderful! so it was an encounter of you both, of the same idea

exactly

there was the will of you two to do the same thing

exactly, exactly!

and I thought: why not?

to unite these two efforts and start a library, but because it is in a Consulate

it's not a completely open one

but a library that can be open to the teaching community...

to the coordinators of programs and initiatives that have the Portuguese language as a theme

and also to start this library together but not only as a Portuguese-Brazilian library

this is for all Portuguese language speakers

so, this library will also be open to all communities, not only to Portuguese or Brazilian people

but also for the countries like Cape Verde, Mozambique

exactly

Guinea Bissau...

so, for all communities here in North Rhine-Westphalia.

the countries that all have a common point, we all speak the same language

we all speak Portuguese

like I previously mentioned during my speech today

"My country is the Portuguese language", like the poet Fernando Pessoa used to say

we are all compatriots, speaking the same language

so that's why for me it was a pleasure

beyond the symbolism of this act, but being able to get involved in this project with the Prof. Stella Maris

what do you consider the most important aspect of this library?

what is the aim by opening this library?

what do you consider the most important aspect opening this library here?

there are two aspects that we have to consider

two objectives that I want to achieve opening this library

in the end that is what we all want to achieve I suppose

the practical aspect, for instance

a library only exists if people visit and use it

if people need the books

if the books are useful

the library does not exist to storage books and clean the dust from time to time because people do not use it

so, there is this practical aspect

we hope that the Portuguese language teachers in the North Rhine-Westphalia

and also the coordinators of others programs and initiates related to the Portuguese language

come here and use this library, this is the practical aspect of it

this is my intention, to keep this library "alive"

and by the way, the Prof. Stella Maris' program is called, "Sempre Viva Lingua Portuguesa"

so the name says everything

and as I said, the library must be "alive" needs to be used

on another hand, there is also the symbolic aspect

which really interests me

and it has to do with what I said before,

people to be aware that we are all compatriots in the Portuguese language

this symbolic act shows that since we all speak the same language

we can get even closer to continue with all initiatives

and can increase our civic participation in the Germany society

which welcomed us in this country

but also in a community perspective

and also other communities

also in a perspective of the dynamics of being part of the society

our society is falling into decay here in Germany

many times is not worth it to think that we can do something else to change it

but we can always try to find alternative ways

and these alternative ways can be translated into creating other spaces for socializing

other dynamics to socialize

getting out of our own little world and develop

so, if we all speak the same language why not celebrate that and be together like we are today

this is the other aspect that I intend to achieve

to develop the concept of the Portuguese language in the North Rhine-Westphalia.

which is my consular jurisdiction area

I am really happy to see this project happening

the inauguration of this library

and we hope it is very successful

and we would like to thank you as well for all your support, specially for the culture

because we really need it

thank you, but anyway, I am doing my job

I am not doing more than my actual job

this sounds a bit of a cliche

but I intend to.... well way of work is always to be close to the Portuguese community

because, of course, I work at the General Consulate of Portugal in Düsseldorf

but I believe that people that has a certain visibility in the community

such as Brazil, Portugal, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique, etc

people that has a lot of visibility has more responsibility

they have the responsibility to make things happen

and I consider that is part of my job

and that's why projects like this will always have my support

projects that make people getting stronger in a sense of their culture and in a civic perspective

thank you very much

thank you

Austin Burke - One Summer (Lyrics) - Duration: 3:51.

Everybody has that one summer

Yeah, that one summer

But there'll never be another like that one summer

How I thought I'd have a million others

Ain't it funny lookin' back

Wouldn't stop even if I could

It was hotter than July

That one touch that was too good

Yeah, I stuck around

...do you wanna stick around?"

She said, "My parents are outta town...

That one moment that went something like this

Yeah, that one summer, that one kiss

But there'll never be another like that one summer

How you thought you'd have a million others?

Ain't it funny lookin' back

Wouldn't stop even if you could

It was hotter than July

Everybody has that one touch that was too good

Yeah, you stuck around

...do you wanna stick around?"

She said, "My parents are outta town...

That one moment that goes something like this

Everybody has that one summer, that one kiss

But I see her in my dreams

As for her, I haven't heard a word

Kevin went to 'Bama, Connor moved to Tennessee

blowin' in the wind

Yeah, we scattered like September leaves

We never thought that it would end

That summer came and went

But there'll never be another like that one summer

How you thought you'd have a million others?

Ain't it funny lookin' back

Wouldn't stop even if you could

It was hotter than July

Everybody has that one touch that was too good

Yeah, you stuck around

...do you wanna stick around?"

She said, "My parents are outta town...

That one moment that goes something like this

Everybody has that one summer, that one kiss

before I knew what love meant

Who made me fall in love

You know, the girl you can't forget

Oh, and then there was that one

but we were good at bein' young

We were bad at holdin' liquor

It was Connor, me, and Kevin hellbent on havin' fun

didn't have to grow up yet

We knew we had to grow up

and turned into a red sunset

As the blue sky kissed the ocean

down the 5 and so alive

Yeah, the next thing we were drivin'

We were singin' and high fivin'

High school caps were flyin'
