Waching daily Sep 28 2018

Haley Zitting: Hey, guys-

Chad Goodman: Hello!

Haley Zitting: We're so excited, it's Monday and Chad's gonna introduce us all.

Chad Goodman: Hello, welcome. Welcome, YL family.

And a shout out to my wife who's watching.

Probably. (Laughter)

Anyway, I am Chad Goodman

director of training and education.

And with me are two of our amazing global trainers,

Haley Zitting, to my right and your left, and Leslie Lewis to my left.

Leslie Lewis: Good morning.

Chad Goodman: So, we're here to talk about something exciting.

Haley's going to introduce it for us.

Haley Zitting: We are super excited because

we've had so many new members join our

Young Living Family recently and so we wanted

to cover your Premium Starter Kit.

This is the most amazing way to get involved with Young Living.

And so we're gonna kind of unbox it and then talk

to you guys a little bit about how to use the products in the kit.

Leslie Lewis: Absolutely. Let's jump right in.

Okay, so, first of all, the Premium Starter Kit comes

in this beautiful premium packaging.

I love this box.

When you first open it up you're able

to see the ten oils that you get.

That is a huge value of a collection.

This pocket right here has some print materials

about essential oils, just a little bit of education, as well as-

- Just some light reading. (Laughter)

- Hidden compartment.

- Oh, yes, there is a hidden compartment.

And Member Services has actually gotten

calls about, "Where's the rest of the kit?" Well, it's hidden.

- What's awesome about this, too,

is we just want to point out, is on the back

you can pop out these little folding compartments

and it becomes its own stand.

So you can display your oils in your house,

or if you're doing a class, or however you want to use it,

it looks really pretty, and it comes ready to use.

- I love that.

So, then, on the bottom there's this little ribbon

that you open, and, ta-da, there's the rest of it.

- Hooray! (Laughter)

- All right, do you want to talk about what comes in it?

- So you see NingXia Red.

NingXia Red, this is a go-to staple in my household.

NingXia wolfberry, powerful food.

So the juice, it tastes fantastic, especially for a really healthy...

- It's like a berry blend.

So you get a lot of different berries.

And it also is an anti-oxidant powerhouse.

- Yes.

Super nutrition for you and your kids, your family.

I love doing this the morning and afternoon,

especially kind of after lunch, the low energy times.

And it's infused with essential oils, of course, this is Young Living.

So we're got Yuzu, orange, lemon, tangerine.

- So you've got two of these little packets

and you really only need to drink one of them a day.

So super easy to drink, little samples.

And then you can also buy these in bottle form.

So once you kind of find out how much you

love NingXia Red you can go ahead and buy a bottle form,

or you can buy it in these little packets.

Next, we have the household cleaner sample.

This is my favorite Young Living product,

if I had to pick a favorite - I don't know, I always say that.

But this is amazing.

It's a multi-purpose household cleaner.

So it's a heavy cleaner, basically,

and what you do is you dilute it with water

and create your own dilution ratio,

depending on what type of cleaning you're doing.

So heavy cleaning, you add less water.

For a light cleaning, you add more water.

And you can clean every surface in your house with this,

from countertops to floors, to even spot treating laundry.

This really is your go-to cleaner.

And you get a sample of it in your Premium Starter Kit.

- Brand new white shirt, got a stain off.

- Yep, this stuff is awesome.

I always say this really is the only cleaner I have in my house.

I clean my shower, my grout, my toilets,

my countertops, everything, with just this little cleaner right here.

- And it won't irritate you.

- No. It smells great.

- It's plant-based, so there's no chemicals,

there's no harsh chemicals that you're

adding to your house, it's all plant-based.

- Yeah.

All right, the next thing we're gonna talk about,

you get these love it, share it cards with these

cute little bottles for sharing your oil.

So you get ten of these empty bottles

and then there's a bunch of different cards

that you can share a little bit of your oil.

This is a really great sharing tool.

So I'm gonna get a little bit closer so you can see how they work.

They have a little hole you can pop out,

they've got this tiny little bottle, you put whatever

kind of oil you were wanting to share,

this one's the Frankincense card,

so it's got a little bit of information on it.

But there's five different kinds, and then there's

some generic ones that aren't pre-labelled.

And then you just put the little oil bottle

in like that and then put the lid on.

How cute is that?

- It's so easy to share.

- And be able to share with your friends.

- When you're excited about something you want to tell other people.

Here's an easy way to share.

- Absolutely.

And you get ten of these little bottles,

and then five different types of oils and then

there's one generic one that's, like,

you can pick your favorite oil to share.

- Cute.

All right, so then we also get the roller fitment.

This makes topical application super easy for any of your oils.

So, you also get a bottle of Stress Away,

this is in my top five essential oils, easily.

And you get this in the bottom compartment of your starter kit.

And what you do, is there's this little plastic orifice,

and you just pop that off - and I'm not gonna do it right now –

but then this just slides right on top.

So a lot of people get confused trying to attach it.

You have to take this plastic piece off.

And you put the roller fitment in, and it comes

with a different lid that you attach.

So this just makes topical application really easy.

- So you've gotta have this lid in order to get that to stay on,

you screw it on until you hear a little click and then…

- It'll pop.

So speaking of oils, obviously you get a 11,

if you count the Stress Away,

11 of our most popular essential oils here at Young Living.

And a lot of people always ask, well, how do I use them?

I remember when I first started with essential oils,

I don't know if was the same for you guys, I was very overwhelmed.

Like, how do I know what way is the best way to use them?

What do I even do when one says topical application?

You're telling me I just, like, rub it on?

Like, that was a foreign concept to me.

So, how do we use essential oils?

Let's talk about that for just a minute.

- So, three primary ways, right?

Aromatically, we can diffuse.

And topically, we can put it on the skin, on the body.

And then internally, the Vitality line, for cooking,

culinary, dropping a couple drops in water, things like that.

So just, basically, what's going on?

Why do we use oils in those ways?

The skin is structured in such a way that it's porous.

So the skin's our largest organ, it's also our largest detoxifying organ.

So when we put on essential oils, the skin,

it's gonna interact with the lipid molecules,

the fat molecules in the skin, and it's gonna absorb

into the blood stream quite readily.

So when we put things on like essential oils,

it's going to get into the blood stream.

And then aromatically when we diffuse oils,

even when we open the Stress Away

and we're trying to smell it, it's gonna interact

those odorant molecules are going to interact with the body.

It's gonna get into the nose, it's going to stimulate

the nervous system and actually function,

fire up something called the limbic system.

So it's going to affect anything from mood,

behavior, even some physiological effects can take place.

So we really like to diffuse oils for lots of reasons,

and then put it on the skin, as well.

The bottom of the feet is a really high absorbent area,

so that's one to try when you're trying different oils

and see how they react with you.

And then in the culinary fashion, there's lots of things

that you can do as well that we'll talk about.

- Yeah. So if you notice here, there are two different types of labels.

You see up here we have white labels

and down here we have colorful labels.

So what does that mean? It's super easy.

We have two lines of essential oils, really.

We have our Vitality line and just our regular essential oil line.

The Vitality line was created for internal or dietary use.

So the product in the oil bottle is actually the exact same.

So you'll notice there's a Lemon Vitality

and a regular lemon essential oil.

The product in the bottle is the exact same,

they're just labeled for different uses.

- Differentiate for usage purposes, but same oil.

- So how do we use them, the Vitality oils,

what do you like to do with it?

- I love using Vitality oils.

Just like Chad said, you can put some in your water,

I use them in marinades, I use them in baking.

- I put them in my smoothies, or to flavor my water.

I love the citrus oils in my water bottle.

- You can get creative with NingXia Red

and try some different flavor combinations.

- Oh, yeah. Peppermint and grapefruit

are awesome to add with your Ningxia Red.

You can also create capsules.

So you can buy empty vegetable oils capsules

and you basically create your own concoction

and then you take them internally.

A lot of our members like to do that with

Frankincense, Vitality, or Cobaiba.

- DiGize Vitality, right here in your kit,

fantastic for after meals, or even before meals, type of thing.

- So that's what you're going to use these white labels for.

The other way we can use essential oils

that Chad mentioned, is aromatically.

- With a diffuser. So, like he said, smelling essential oils

is a wonderful way to get them into your system

and get the benefits of essential oils.

And you're using them aromatically as soon

as you open the bottle because…

- You smell it.

- You smell it, so that's how you're gonna get it.

But another great way is to diffuse,

so Young Living has a full range of diffusers

that are everything from ultrasonic,

you mix them with water, to straight oil diffusers

and that puts them into the air in tiny particles,

so you can inhale them.

I love diffusing first thing in the morning, like,

before I go to bed at night and first thing in the morning,

those are my two bookends.

Because it's just a wonderful addition to the morning.

- Yeah. A lot of people like diffusing during yoga.

Or I just diffuse around my house all the time with my kids.

When I'm getting my kids ready for bed at night

I'm sure you do this too, you just have your

own little diffuser blends that you love,

and it really helps to create the environment that you're hoping.

The last way that we like to use essential oils is topically.

And topical application is probably the easiest,

in my opinion, but also, kind of the most confusing

for some people, or overwhelming.

But it's super easy.

Really, all you have to do it take a bottle

of essential oil, open it up, put a drop in the palm

of your hand and apply it where you want, right?

So, Chad mentioned the bottoms of the feet

are a great place to start when you're very

first on your essential oil journey.

I like putting it on my temples, or on the base

of my neck, or my shoulders.

Topical application is easy, but there also

is some safety tips, or guidelines.

Some oils are considered hot oils,

which means when you put them on they can

create a hot sensation on your skin, and so it's good to dilute.

- I put peppermint under my nose this morning,

I do that a lot of mornings and it's good for me,

but with my children I'd never do that.

- And I can't do that.

It makes my nose run like crazy.

So what you want to do is add a carrier oil.

So good examples of carrier oils are coconut oil,

olive oil, grapeseed oil.

- I like Young Living vegetable oil, V-6, something like that.

- Yeah, Young Living has our carrier oil, it's the V-6 oil.

- And it won't dilute the effects of the oil.

It actually just helps cover more ground.

The carrier oil will still interact with the skin surface,

so it's a good way to use the oil.

- Yeah, it doesn't make the oil less powerful,

it just makes the sensation on your skin more comfortable.

And so that's a great way to use them topically.

When you use oils topically, I like to use them after I work out.

Or before I go to bed at night, I always

put Stress Away on my neck before bed.

So there's a lot of ways you can use essential oils topically. Right?

- Yeah. - All right, so do you want to touch on YLC?

- Yeah, so we actually have created,

our team's created courses that are in your virtual office.

So when you login to your VO,

under Member Resources there is a little tab for Young Living Central.

So, YL Central, it's a centralized hub of information to help you.

Especially new members, new to oils,

there's a lot of basic information there.

And even a little next level information.

But there's a course called Essential Oil,

or EO Basics, and also a course on the PSK.

So you can go in there, get familiar with it,

and they're actually courses that you could

then teach in your home, or share with others if you so desire.

So, good information there on Young Living Central.

- Yeah, make sure to check it out because it's endless information.

- There's so much information.

We've created them with the intention that they're bite-size,

they're easy to understand, easily digestible.

And so we hope you enjoy that resource that we've created for you.

- And we are super excited, because all week

this week we are focusing on

the Premium Starter Kit on our Facebook page.

So come back, every day this week we will be

highlighting the oils in the kit with short videos

that talk about usage, talk about how to use them,

why they're so awesome.

And so you can really just dive in and learn

about your Premium Starter Kit all in one week.

So check back for that more this week.

- That's it.

Congratulations to you, welcome to Young Living.

- We're just so excited to have you.

- We'll see you soon.

Bye.

about these guys right here - it's your HVAC unit we all have one and when you

big thing is make sure you set enough time aside to go through this process a

lot of people want to rush there they want this issue resolved as quickly as

possible if you try to rush through it you may overlook some things always ask

them make sure that they're that they're licensed, insured that's some

protection for the homeowner I would ask them how long they've been dealing with

that particular piece of equipment that way you know that they're familiar and

they're gonna do the best installation that you can get as a contractor I would

always ask the homeowner how the old unit operated when it was operational

that may be indications of problems that need to be fixed when the contractor

comes out to your home we're they on time did they take the

time to walk through your house to look under the crawlspace to look up in the

attic and make sure there aren't any other issues and then when they give you

I Want Him To Love Me : Here's What to Do ! - Duration: 3:33.

- I want him to love me.

Hello, guys, and welcome to my YouTube channel.

I'm Alex Cormont, your French Relationship Expert.

In this video, I wanna share

with you something really important.

Because I received a big email from a woman in Alabama.

And she asked me, "Alex, I want him to love me.

"I want him to be really in love in our relationship."

And the more I read the email,

the more I thought to myself,

the trouble is not about love.

If you want this guy loving you,

if you want your husband, you boyfriend,

be more in love with you, you need to change your vision.

Because it's not about love, it's about attraction.

When you want a man to be involved in the relationship,

when you want the man to be loving you,

that means he needs to value you,

he needs to get the desire to attract you,

to change the behavior, the habit, the relationship.

To put new activities inside the relationship.

And in order to do that, you need to think,

I don't want him to love me, I want him to chase me.

I want him to pursue me, how?

By acting like it's your first date every single day.

Trying to make him laugh, trying to make him happy,

trying to make him smile,

trying to make him be happier in the present moment,

trying to put some new activities in the relationship,

trying to break down the routine.

Because the routine is something

that can destroy your relationship.

If you do that, I can guarantee you,

like this woman in Alabama,

or all over the world, wherever you are,

this man will chase and be crazy about you.

Because when you are in a relationship,

we don't want just to be in love.

We want to be in real.

Because when we are in a relationship,

we don't just want to be in couple.

We want to be in love, we want to enjoy,

we want everything, this is how human works.

We want the best every single day.

So, if you're watching this video,

this is something really very,

very important that I have to give you.

You need to be good at recreating attraction.

You need to be good at telling yourself,

this is like a date.

I wanna enjoy it, I want to know more about him.

I want to smile, I want to make some jokes.

And then, you will change your mind

from negative to positive.

And that will change your relationship.

So, if you have any question, like this woman,

leave me a comment just right below.

I will be more than happy to answer.

Also, give me a like and subscribe

to this amazing YouTube channel.

Every single day, you have a new video.

You can hear my French accent,

and some tips to change your love life.

If you wanna go further,

in this description just right below,

you can download my free ebook, "The Truth About Love".

I'm giving you everything about my philosophy

and what I have learned since the beginning, since 2007.

So, please, you need to think about attraction,

and not relationship or couple.

If you change this, oh, my God.

Your relationship will be so good.

And this man will love you more and more every single day.

See you tomorrow for the next video, bye, bye, guys.

Remy Ma Reveals To Wendy Williams She Has A 'Positive' Bond W/ Cardi B: But What About Nick Minaj? - - Duration: 3:01.

Aw! Remy Ma & Cardi B are the cutest friends. However, Remy can't say the same for fellow rapper Nicki Minaj

See her dish on their relationship in a new interview with Wendy Williams!  It seems like everyone is taking sides in the ongoing feud between Cardi B, 25, and Nicki Minaj, 35, and now, Remy Ma, 38, has made her stance clear

When speaking with Wendy Williams, 54, on Sept. 28, the talk show host asked her for some details on her friendship with fellow Bronx native Cardi

"Have you spoken to her since this thing with Nicki?" Wendy inquired. "When we usually speak it's not a whole gossip thing

It's always words of encouragement. 'Girl don't worry about that,' 'girl this will blow over,' or 'you looked great in Paris,' or 'congratulations on the baby

' I don't think neither one of us really dwell on the negative stuff," Remy revealed during the segment

"So much positive stuff is going on in both of our lives right now."    However, when asked about her relationship with Nicki, Remy shut down

"What relationship? There's no relationship," she said sternly. "I'm confused…what do you mean?" she asked, while shaking her head

In case you don't remember, Nicki and Remy have some drama of their own. In 2017, Remy nearly broke the internet when she dropped "ShETHER," a vicious diss track aimed at Nicki

Nicki hit right back, and enlisted pals Drake, and Lil Wayne, for  "No Frauds," a diss track that sent the Barbz reeling

"You can't be Pablo if your work ain't sellin//What the fuck is this bitch inhalin//I would've helped you out that pit you fell in," Nicki rapped in one verse

Given the history between the two rappers,  it's no surprise that Remy is team Cardi all the way through this feud!  Meanwhile Cardi and Nicki and still trying to settle some drama of their own

The two have taken shots back and forth at each other, following their highly publicized fashion week brawl on Sept

7, but just cannot seem to move past their beef! Just this week, on Sept. 28, Cardi kicked it with Meek Mill, 31, at the Billboard Hip-Hop Power Players event in NYC

After seeing photos emerge of Cardi and Nicki's ex-man, fans were convinced that Cardi stood in for the snapshot to shade her rival! Welcome to the CVICU: Information for patients and families - Duration: 6:51.

Welcome to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit or CVICU in the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre

at Toronto General Hospital – part of the University Health Network.

After watching this video you will know:

What to expect when visiting the CVICU,

Common equipment used in the CVICU,

How to take part in your loved one's care This may be a difficult time for you.

You may have a lot to think about.

You may be experiencing emotional stress, and coping with an overwhelming amount of information.

We hope this video will help by providing you with a better understanding of the CVICU

and what to expect during your visit.

The CVICU meets the needs of patients who have a condition that requires the skill of

highly trained, compassionate health care professionals and specialized, modern technology.

Our goal is to provide the best possible care after heart surgery.

We achieve this by working together with you and your loved ones.

Before entering the unit, we ask that you call in from the CVICU waiting room on the

second floor to the CVICU nursing station at extension 3550.

The ward clerk will transfer your call to your loved one's room to speak with the nurse.

This is to make sure it is an appropriate time to visit.

To ensure the privacy and safety of others, we ask for only two visitors at a time.

Once you enter the double doors into the unit, turn left, and walk down the hall to the main nursing station.

You can check in here to see which room to go to.

Seeing someone you love in a Critical Care setting after heart surgery can be overwhelming

for you; they might not look the same as before the surgery.

There will be many lines, tubes and unfamiliar equipment at the bedside.

To help you understand what all this is for, let's take a closer look.

After heart surgery, here are about 12 pieces of equipment you will see.

All of these are important to help your loved one recover from heart surgery.

Next to every bed is a ventilator or breathing machine.

This machine helps deliver oxygen through this breathing tube. or endotracheal tube. into the lungs.

The ventilator can give all breaths or allow your loved one to breathe on their own.

It all depends on how sleepy they are after surgery.

You will also see a monitor beside the bed.

This monitor is tracking vital signs like heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen.

Please do not focus on the numbers and alarms.

The alarms may only be gentle reminders and the nurses are consistently watching them.

The monitor also shows the electrical activity of the heart and heart rate.

You can see it in green, here on the monitor.

On the wrist or arm will be an arterial line or "art line".

The art line allows the nurses to withdraw pain free blood samples when needed, and also

constantly measures blood pressure.

You can see it in a red colour here on the monitor

This sticker on the finger is called an oxygen saturation probe.

It measures how much oxygen is in the body.

This line is also connected to the bedside monitor – here

Another line you may see on the hand or arm is an Intravenous Catheter, or I.V.

Fluid or medication may be given through this line.

Here, on the neck you will see another line split into two.

It is placed in a bigger vein that leads directly into the heart.

This yellow coloured line is called a Pulmonary Arterial or P.A.

Catheter.

It is important for the care and recovery of your loved one after heart surgery as it

measures different pressures in the heart.

You can see it in yellow on the monitor.

This line is called a CORDIS.

It is a catheter used to give medications and fluid.

This is not painful to have – a slight pinching may be felt at the insertion site.

As you can see, all catheters are connected to I.V. tubing and I.V. pumps.

These machines help deliver a constant stream of medication or fluid.

The bags hanging on the top are either medications or fluid, for example, this white coloured

medication is used for sedation.

On the floor beside the bed there may be a chest tube drain.

After heart surgery, this is normal to have, helping to drain extra fluid and blood.

These tubes will usually be removed within the next couple of days.

Depending on the surgeon and the surgery, your loved one may instead have drainage tubes

that connect to one or more suction bulbs.

You will also notice a bag collecting urine.

It is connected to a foley catheter, which is a tube directly draining urine from the

bladder.

The nurses use this to monitor how the kidneys are working after surgery.

There may be other pieces of equipment or tubing that may be in your loved one's room

that are not in this video.

Ask the nurse or doctor if you have any questions.

The CVICU health care team is a group of highly trained professionals including doctors, nurses,

respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and other health care workers

who are all part of your loved one's care.

After surgery, there is usually a primary nurse caring for one patient to monitor constantly

and provide the best care.

Please remember, that sedation medication may still be given to keep your loved one

asleep.

Once they are awake enough, the CVICU team will decide when to remove the breathing tube.

The team also monitors patients at the nursing station through a central monitor.

At times, when they may be alone for a few minutes, someone is always keeping a close

eye on them.

Toronto General Hospital is a teaching hospital; it is common to have more than one doctor

take part in your loved one's care.

Every day, the CVICU team meets to talk about the plan of care.

This is called 'rounds'.

You are welcome to listen and ask questions after rounds.

You may have many questions, try writing them down on a piece of paper so you don't forget.

To take part in rounds for the first time, you may want to start by asking:

How is my loved one doing?

What can I do to help?

What is the plan for today?

When a loved one is ill and in the CVICU, you may think that you always have to be at

the bedside and may feel tired.

Here are some tips as a caregiver: Take care of yourself.

You cannot help anyone if you are tired and become sick.

Eat for energy, rest, and sleep.

When your loved one is ready to go home, you may have a lot to do.

The health care team is here to help.

Talk to them about your worries and what support you may need.

Our goal here is to provide the best possible care after surgery, let us help to make your

visit a smooth one.

Choosing Child Safety Seat - Duration: 4:46.

I'm Jay Stefani I'm a partner here at Levinson and Stefani we handle car

crash cases primarily and because of that we tend to see a lot of the

terrible effects of car crashes so one of the things I want to talk about today

was child seats and booster seats now in another video I talked about what the

laws are here in Illinois in terms of children under the age of 8 being

required to be an either a child seat or a booster seat one of the things I want

to talk about first is how to choose a child seat that's one of the important

ones and new parents that's always a big thing is you want to make sure always

you know precious cargo that your child isn't a safest seat possible one

important thing to remember an expensive car seat doesn't necessarily mean that

it is a safe car seat for your child take a look at ratings biggest things

you want to be looking at are the height and weight limitations appropriate for

your child is the child seat does it fit well into your car and you have the

child seat installed correctly now that last one in terms of having the child

seat installed correctly is one of the most important aspects now in order to

make sure it's installed correctly one of the things you should certainly do is

look at the instructions and the manual for the child seat I know a lot of

people are reluctant to do that they figure oh this is easy I can figure this

out also take a look oftentimes a car's user manual will have its own

instructions and sometimes tips to make it frankly easier to install the child

seat in your car no matter what though and I strongly urge this especially for

new parents install the car seat the best you can before you go to the

hospital to bring you her newborn home and take it to a local fire department

or police department they're trained in how to do this and it's a great way to

just double check to make sure have it in there correctly and they can

also give you great tips to make sure that it's in there correctly how to make

sure it's in there correctly so that you as the parent can make sure other

caregivers grandparents aunts uncles babysitter's are installing their child

seats for your kids in their car correctly in terms of rear-facing the

American Academy of Pediatrics strongly recommends that children be rear-facing

in their child seats at least up until the age of two or until they hit the

maximum height or weight for that specific child seat as a parent of two

kids that are have always been a tall for their age

I know sometimes as they're getting close to two even once they hit two

they're sort of back there and their legs might be bent a little bit up on

the seat just because of the space still you'd rather if it worst-case scenario

you get into crash you'd rather have your child have an injured leg than

something much worse so really try and stick with that it's really in the best

interest for you and your child last and when it comes to booster seats the again

the AAP of the American Academy Pediatrics recommends ideally that if a

child sitting without a booster seat in the car the lap belt in the shoulder

belt should hit the child where it would hit an adult if it is too high and it

doesn't hit them correctly the child really should be in a booster seat now

again in Illinois the law is they have to be in a child seat or booster seat at

least until the age of eight now given the size that I just mentioned

it's possible your kid could be in a booster seat up until the age of 12

might be reaching and getting some some some pushback and resistance to that but

again the most important thing when your kid is in the car is that he or she is

safe if you have any other questions or want to look for more information in

terms of choosing a child safety seat or booster seat or installation tips the

American Academy of Pediatrics has a great website at wwlp.com

I heard you to check that out it has some great additional tips I hope you

found this helpful Thanks
