Hey guys! Today we're gonna show you how to make Leche Flan.

Leche Flan is a super smooth and creamy Filipino custard dessert, similar to creme brulee.

To make Leche Flan, you'll first want to make the caramel topping.

Start by pouring in half a cup of white sugar into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat.

Continuously stir the sugar to prevent it from burning.

Eventually the sugar should start to dissolve and turn into a golden brown caramel.

Once all the sugar is fully caramelized, pour it into a Leche Flan mold or a ramekin before it starts to harden.

Repeat this process with his second Leche Flan.

You could also just heat up all your sugar at once and quickly pour it into containers, which in retrospect, we probably could have done.

But, if you plan on making more than two Leche Flans,

we recommend caramelizing the sugar batches, because your caramel might begin to harden before you fill all of your containers.

After you've prepped your Leche Flan mold with the caramel syrup,

it's time to start making the actual custard. In a new mixing bowl, crack and separate five egg yolks.

If you prefer your Leche Flan to be a little firmer, you also have the option of adding a sixth egg yolk.

Next, pour in one and a half cups of evaporated milk and

half a cup of condensed milk.

Then whisk everything together.

At this point, most Leche Flan recipes add in a couple drops of vanilla extract.

But today, we'll be using some lime zest instead.

Take one lime and zest the entire surface into a bowl.

We personally like using the lime zest because it adds a little more dimension to the flavor of the Leche Flan.

You get a super subtle hint of lime that helps to balance out the sweetness of the dessert.

Afterwards, pour out the lime zest onto the center of a cheesecloth.

Then wrap it up while keeping the lime zest clump together. And twist the top end of the cheesecloth

so nothing is able to fall out.

Next soak and swish the lime zest into the Leche Flan mixture.

And then squeeze all the liquid out of the cheesecloth back into the custard mixture.

Repeat this about three more times.

Then, go ahead and thoroughly whisk everything together.

When you're done, you have the option of straining the custard mixture through a strainer to get it ultra smooth.

But we found that even if you don't strain the batter, it still ends up being super smooth and velvety.

So we ended up just pouring the batter straight into the Leche Flan molds.

After you filled your molds, carefully cover each one with a sheet of foil.

And then place them onto a baking pan.

We're gonna be making these leche flan using a water bath,

so you'll want to pour in enough hot water into the pan to reach about half of the height of your containers.

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Preferably, you'll want to use a deep baking pan for this, but all we had was this cookie baking sheet.

So we just had to make due. It just got a little crazy when we were transferring it to the oven.

Bake your Leche Flan for one hour.

Once they're done, remove them from the pan.

Next, refrigerate your Leche Flan overnight to allow them to fully cool.

When they're cool and ready to serve remove the foil.

And then loosen the edges of the Leche Flan by running a butter knife along the inside perimeter.

Afterwards, place a plate on top of your Leche Flan and quickly flip it over.

Your Leche Flan should easily flip out of the mold. If it doesn't, you might have to run your butter knife through once more.

And then, TADA!

Let's dig in!

This is definitely one of those Filipino desserts that's super easy to overindulge in.

It's talagang tasty! Right Reinard?!

I'm done talking about you

I'm done trying to figure you out

like why you do the things that you do

and what the hell you're talking about

I'm done

with you

I'm done, done, done.

I've been losing my mind trying to get my mind

around the jigsaw puzzle of you

and I'm done

with you

I'm done, done, done.

'Cause the pieces that fit reveal a picture that makes no sense and leaves me stunned

and I'm done

wondering if it's me who's the one behaving selfishly.

I'll tell you what...

if being selfish means that I'm done, that I am finally free,

then I'm done

with you

I'm done, done, done.

I've been losing my mind trying to get my mind around the jigsaw puzzle of you

and I'm done

with you

I'm done, done, done.

'Cause the pieces that fit reveal a picture that makes no sense and leaves me stunned

and I'm done

trying to find a way to make you happy.

Oh, at the end of the day, I'm sad to say, that's not what you wanna be.

And the one thing I will hold onto is the wish that you will find

if not happiness, then just

peace of mind

for you

and now I'm done, I'm so done.

I'm done losing my mind, I'll never get my mind around the jigsaw puzzle of you

and I'm done with you,

finally done, done, done.

'Cause the pieces that fit reveal a picture that makes no sense and leaves me stunned, I

run the other way 'cause you're no fun, I

shake my head, I know I'm finally done

with you

I'm done

with you

'cause I'm stunned

I will NEVER use iCloud again (NEW) - Duration: 5:36.

Hi Alex here from rebeloper.com and in this video I am going to talk about why

I will never use iCloud again. So let's get started.

So why shouldn't you use iCloud?

It is a great platform, well it is Apple's very

own cloud platform of course there are others like firebase but if you want to

have a Mac app or a tvOS app or and an iOS app and you want them to work

together iCloud seems to be the only and the

sanest option out there. Well today I am doing going to talk about a little lame

secret of Apples about iCloud that you wouldn't believe it exists but I found

it out on my own so I will tell you so you don't have to

and I believe me you will never look at iCloud the same

again. So what happened is that we built an app and of course it uses iCloud and

it is a huge app and we got a few of our users coming sign up and it is

gradually gained a popularity. Now what we wanted to do is to sell this app

because there were many offers and we did so what we wanted to do next is

transfer the app. Now this is where it all went down the hill. Because it turns out you

cannot transfer apps to other accounts when in your app there is iCloud

enabled. So whether if it's the current build, current version or any other

previous version has iCloud enabled in it you just simply cannot transfer it to

another account. Well basically you just simply

cannot sell it to anybody it's yours and it is yours forever. Now this issue as I

found out is going on for years and it doesn't seem that Apple will resolve

this issue. Okay, now there were some alternatives so what if I disabled

iCloud and uploaded a new version. Well as I have already told you, if any

of the builds had iCloud enabled then you just simply cannot transfer the app.

You simply don't have so if I just take a look here I have a ready for sale app

just scroll down under the App Store, app information here you have transfer app.

Well when you have iCloud enabled you don't have that option, okay.

Now our next idea was and this is what we kind of made because we didn't even have

any other choice is that we needed to delete the whole

app. Well we needed to remove it from sale and then delete it from App Store

Connect and then on the other person's account we needed to resubmit, reupload,

resubmit as a brand new app. Okay that is what we actually did but we lost all of

our users. So there is no way that we could transfer the users from one iCloud

account to the other. So that was the main drawback of why I will never ever

use iCloud again. Maybe of course if they fix it I will give it a go again.

But for now no iCloud please. So if you run into this issue you will most

probably have this warning you can't transfer this app because of the

following reason iCloud-enabled you can only transfer

apps that are on iCloud enabled and the documentation states as in this

stackoverflow question shows us make sure that the app uses only technology

and content that can be transferred, so a cloud cannot be transferred. No version

of the app can use an iCloud entitlement. So that's that we learned our lesson

no more iCloud thank you. Now if you like this video go ahead and give it a

thumbs up and if you enjoy our videos go ahead and subscribe. Now it's your turn

do you have any iCloud enabled apps on the App Store or did you run into this

problem. If you do go ahead and comment down below give us a shout out and what

is your experience I will answer to each and every comment down below as soon as

possible and as always I will see you in the next one.

Texas City, TX Water Quality Assessment: What You Need To Know - Duration: 2:04.

Our Water Nerds always welcome your feedback, and we recently got a comment requesting a

video on Texas City, Texas drinking water, so here it is!

Let's start with Disinfection Byproducts or DBPs.

DBPs are formed when chlorine-based disinfectants that are routinely added to the water supply

to kill bacteria, react with organic matter.

According to the 2017 report, Texas City had elevated levels of DBPs.

Concentrations of haloacetic acids reached levels as high as 29.6 parts per billion,

and concentrations of trihalomethanes were detected as high as 57.1 parts per billion.

For a bit of perspective, EPA's maximum contaminant level for haloacetic acids is

60 parts per billion and 80 parts per billion for trihalomethanes.

Health and regulatory agencies have very little knowledge about the adverse health effects

of DBPs, and their toxicity.

EPA has stated that they have been linked to an increased risk of bladder cancer, as

well as kidney, liver, and central nervous system problems.

Several synthetic organic contaminants were also detected in Texas City drinking water,

many of which are pesticides and herbicides.

Endrin, Heptachlor, and Silvex were detected in Texas City drinking water.

These three herbicides and insecticides were banned due to their extreme toxicity and adverse

effects on humans.

Atrazine, Alachlor, Dalapon, Simazine, and Toxaphene were just some of the other insecticides

and pesticides detected in Texas City drinking water which are still being used today.

While most cities use chlorine, Texas City uses both chlorine and chloramine in the disinfection

process.

Chloramine is primarily responsible for what many customers report as the "bad taste"of

tap water.

The high concentration of chloramine detected in Texas City drinking water was 4.1 parts

per billion, and the average concentration was 2.56 parts per billion.

For a bit of perspective, this is on the higher end of federally allowable levels for chloramine.

If you have any questions about this report or anything else water related, drop us a

line at hello@hydroviv.com, or visit hydroviv.com and use our live chat.

Our Water Nerds are based in Washington DC and can answer any questions you have.

Thanks for watching.

Teens Talk Weed - Why Teens Use - Duration: 1:45.

Why do you guys think that teens use weed? In order to battle stress, and you

guys think that there's any other reasons why these kids are using weed?

In most people it causes stress more and then it causes anxiety so you're like

you're paranoid like oh what's gonna happen what if I get in trouble and this and this and this

So you know how we as teens are always looking to have some power in our

lives and the fact that we have parents and you know they kind of still hold us

down the fact that we can do weed and then we go to this world we're like we

have our own freedom and then there we have our own power that's probably what guides teens to do.

And also excuses.

If you really want to do something you should be able to find a reason why it's good for you if you make

excuses you should know that's like why, don't do that.

I think in my school another thing a lot of the kids say that they use it to have them go to sleep and a lot of my friends

yeah had previously gone like prescribed it for sleeping which I don't know that

is I don't know if you guys have if anybody has said that to you or anything

but that's definitely like a main thing that goes on in my school

I've heard about that and I've also heard about helping it with anxiety

attacks yeah or concentration or just like do it like people said oh well I

found myself to focus on homework more when I'm high and I'm just like how do, how does that work?

Some people, they just throw these random excuses out and find themselves doing it and they don't even

realize it's really doing the opposite for them it's not it's not helping them

as making it worse.

They just want to use that weed as an excuse to kind of act older and like do things more rebellious because they wanted to be older

than they they act older than they really are.

Review & Swatches - Born To Run Urban Decay - Duration: 10:35.

Hello everyone, I hope

you get fine today,

Today I am bringing a video I owe you

since a long time because this eyepalette

makes part of my collection since one month

and I decided to make the review

and the makeup look you are watching

and to don't make this intro too long,

let's start with this video.

and as I said in the intro

we will be making the review of the eyepalette

from Urban Decay Cosmetics, this is

the Born to Run, this is the penultimate

palette they launched, by the moment

I record this video, Urban Decay already launched a new palette

called naked cherry

It is anyway pretty new

I am not sure how long

it has in the market

I bought this approx one month ago

when I was in Spain

and this is the color range

of this palette. It has colors

from most warms to cold ones

It has a pretty nice color range

and when I saw it the first time, I said to myself: why not?

I am a big fan from Urban Decay eyeshadows

The first eyepalette I bought from the brand was the naked heat

Born to Run is for me very good

not only for fair skin girls but also girls with

darker skin like mine,

because as you can see it has bright colors

as you can see

and also has a lot of pigment

with this palette I am not dissapointed at all,

the naked heat also has a very good pigmentation,

and this palette also has the same pigment

so now let's make the swatches to the palette

so you can see the pigment better

and later we will

make the tutorial to

this makeup look

I am going to start with the first 4 eyeshadows

breakaway

stranded

blaze

weekender

still shot

riff

good as gone

this ones have a very good pigment

hell ride

baja

accelerate

guilt trip

two last ones are very pigmented also

ignite

smog

wanderlust

and this are the swatches of the 2

first lines

wildheart

punk

double life

jet

drift

radio

big sky

and now that you saw the swatches, let's proceed with the eyelook I am wearing

today

I will start with the eye primer

and I will seal it with the

color weekender

and with a blending brush I will

take the color riff

and apply it in the crease

as a transition color

I will intensify this color

and I will it blend very good

nest, I will take the color punk

and put it at the beginning

and end of the lid

I want to make a halo eye

so the first thing to do is to position this color as shown

and then to connect them

in the crease

and this way we can get the halo look

I will blend

this eyeshadow I applied

with the same brush I used for the transition color

this is one of the new morphe brushes

I take the chance to show it to you guys,

I like a lot the performance of this brush

and it was very soft for blending

now I will take the

last color of the palette called big sky

and I will be applying it in the

center of my eyelid

this color I was using without

making the brush wet

because I didn't like it to be too intense

but if you like intense looks,

I recommend you to wet the brush with a setting spray

or to make

a base with a primer

in the part where we will apply the eyeshadow

and obviously apply on it the color

with this small tip

you will make any eye shadow more intense

no matter if it is matte or shimmer

then, this look was

so easy like this, using only 3 eyeshadows

and in the lower lash I was applying

the color riff

and in the corner a little bit of the color punk

and well, my final thinkings

about this palette

If I have to rate this

from 1 to 10

I would give a 9.5 and the reason

is the packaging

at the moment of the watches is was getting too dirty

and I do not like to have my palettes dirty

that was the only contra

I found of this palette

by the other hand, all the color have a good pigment

and the 3 colors I was trying

were applied very easily and blended well

with the swatches I was very satisfied,

and with the application also

another point I like a lot of the palette

is the mirror

this mirror is very big and

it is very handy at the moment of the makeup, you don't need to have a second mirror and the palette

you can use this mirror without problem

and I like also a lot

because it is flexible

so you can use the palette alone,

with a mirror in front

or as I did, I used for the whole makeup

because it is also a very good quality mirror

and you can see all your face

perfectly good

the color range this time is for me very complete

in last naked palettes

they used to make

a concept with only cold or warm colors

naked heat is the warmest palette

I ever saw

all warm shadows

other naked palettes have

too many shimmer eyeshadows

so when we talk about the matte colors

this palette has 7 matte colors from 21

others are between shimmer and satin

warm and cold colors

in this palette are

very balanced

we have by one side

warm colors and by

the other hand cold colors

and you can recreate

any look you would like

the packaging are pictures from all around the world

in front and back

because it makes reference to trips

the eye palette, so you can make a look for each place of the world you go

about prices

I bought this palette in 49 euros,

for 21 eyeshadows

to the versatility of this palette I will give a 10

because it has many eyeshadows for many purposes

you have transitions, highlight

to give intensity, it has many matte

also shimmer, so it is a palette

that you can really use for any look

and you will no need to have extra palettes to take other colors, unless

you want to make a makeup with special colors

or more bright colors

like yellow, fuchsia

and this was my honest

thinking about the born to run palette

I hope this review was useful

so you can have your own mind about he palette

by watching the swatches

and the eyelook

I was recreating

If there is something I have forgotten to say
