Today I am going to show you how to make a coil from paper tubes

For this project you're going to need newspaper to cover your table, a magazine

or some sort of paper source. You will need a wooden skewer, a glue stick, and

scissors. The first thing that you're going to do is to choose a page from the

magazine and cut a narrow strip out of it. To help you, before you cut the paper,

you can fold it in three, like this, and then you can use the scissors to cut the

strip of paper.

Now, you will use your wooden skewer to make your paper tube.

After you finish your paper tube, it is time to make it flat. You can use your

fingers or the wooden skewer to do this.

now that you have a flat paper tube it is time to bring back the skewer to wrap

the flat tube around the skewer.

you will start wrapping the paper tube around the skewer for a couple of turns

and then you will add glue to the rest of the flat paper tube before you

continue wrapping it around the skewer.

And now you have finished your coil. This coil can be used now to make 3d artwork.

You can add it to sculptures, buildings, and other things you can also make

jewelry with it. You make several coils and you use

strings to tie them together and you can make a necklace.
