Custom Evolve Skateboards - Hyrdo Dipping and Spray Painting - Duration: 4:18.

It literally looks like it's meant to be made like this from the start

can't fault it whatsoever.

Gday guys welcome to another episode of evolve

weekly today we have a special episode all about hydro dipping and spray

painting an Evolve board.

So it hydro dipping is another way to give your board a unique finish it's a process

of dipping a product into water but that has a design floating on the surface

essentially. It can only be done to non-porous items so unfortunately the

bamboo decks cannot be done but the battery case and truck parts are

completely fine to do with the electrics and batteries removed. The carbon decks

again completely fine to do with the battery and electrics removed and also

the grip tape needs to be taken off so as you can see here this battery case

has been hydro dipped to do it had remove all electrics from it so motor

controller, battery, the switch and the charging port all had to come out. And the

battery case had to be cleaned for the dipping to be done. So ive seen two other

boards that come to mind they've been hydro dipped so one was a skull and one was

a camo dip haven't seen too many others around but you know it does give your

board a unique finish really unique coating and often it creates a one

off board for you. Another way to give you a carbon board unique look would be a

complete spray paint job, haven't seen one done yet but or it can be pretty

cool to see

Hi I'm Josh from Unique Skin Coatings and today we're spray painting and hydro

dipping some Evolve boards.

Today we're dipping the trucks and a battery case of

a bamboo GT and spray painting the deck of a carbon GT

So the first step is disassembling the board. We have to make sure all nuts

bolts bearings bushes all the electrics are out or ready for sanding. So the

second step is sanding we need to make sure we rough these parts up in order

for the primer and the paint stick.

So the next step is applying the primer the

primer fills any scratches leftover from sanding and gives the paint a good surface

to stick to

Now that we've got the primer on the next step is to apply the color.

So for this project we're going to apply three to four coats of color, letting it dry

for ten to fifteen minutes again between each coat

So the next step is to apply the graphics

Once the graphics are applied we seal it up with clear coat and we're all done

Whoa whoa well it's pretty psychedelic isn't it.

Oh look at that

That's so cool

You cant even fault it. It looks absolutely awesome.

Green and gold - Aussie. This is good.

Yeah nice. Very very cool.

Nice and shiny. Gloss, yeah it looks nice.

Thanks for watching guys, I hope you enjoyed the video and hopefully it's

giving you a bit of inspiration to customize your evolve board. Remember if

you've got any cool designs we'd love to see them so please send them in to us

until next time catch you later

The Simple Solution To Feeling Left Out And Invisible Over 50! - Duration: 9:26.

today's video is for all the women out there over 50 who feel invisible I'm

going to share with you a trick I use with my styling clients it works every

single time and it'll work for you too so if you'd like to know more please

keep watching hi I'm Schellea this is fabulous 50s a lifestyle channel that

explores fashion beauty and lifestyle for women over 50 and if you're a woman

over 50 click subscribe and click the bell and you'll be alerted every time

there's a new video today we're going to talk about why women feel invisible when

they hit 50 it's like there's a magic switch turns on and all of a sudden they

become irrelevant and it's actually so not true it's the opposite to true but

there is history for why we feel this way and it's conditioning and I'll tell

you why back in the day women our age group just died of natural causes

because there was really no need for us anymore

weird what the children are we taught them how to hunt and to sew and to

continue on our role in to parent and then women whose children had grown up

and now at our age had no use and they weren't strong enough to keep working

the fields and and doing all the hard manual work so it's kind of was Nature's

Way of just getting rid of them because what us were they anymore and men were

taking on younger wives and there we go we became irrelevant so we just died how

sad is that but come 2018 we've just arrived it's like we've done all that so

that's where that's what we were conditioned to do to do all those things

and now we have to reinvent what our meaning is and what our purpose is at

this age we don't have to finish up because we have no more use we have to

create a new use for ourselves we have to create a new meaning

new everything for ourselves now that we're getting older we get to reinvent

the role of a middle-aged woman and we can make it whatever we want so this

whole feeling of being invisible and being not worth anything anymore and

being of no use to anybody it's all conditioned its conditioned from our

lineage from data from past generations it's all just put in our head and we

think it's true and it's not true and what we put into our head is what we

put out there into the world so it's up to us to change it and with that in mind

I want to share with you a really great trick I learned from Tony Robbins and it

perfectly demonstrates what we're all doing and why we're all feeling so down

about us and a perfect solution of how to get out of that Tony says if we build

our self value in our mind and focus on another person on how you would like

them to react to us when we see them we can literally make anything happen

and Tony demonstrated this on stage with a young guy who was unable to pick up

girls and he just felt really unconfident and he just had zero luck

with picking up a girlfriend and he Tony got a girl from the audience who in this

guy's opinion was way above where he could normally go and Tony taught the

guy these techniques that I'm going to teach you and she was melting and this

is what I use with my ladies for me go shopping and it works every time so I'd

go shopping with my ladies and their mindset was something like this

nothing's going to fit me I'm gonna look too fat the shop assistants going to

judge me she's gonna think I'm too old if I spend my money I won't have any

more they're probably going to talk about me behind my back

I'm embarrassed they're gonna think I look silly this is just too hard and

then on the other hand they look at the shop assistant and they'd say oh she's

so young she wouldn't understand oh she wouldn't know what life's really like

she's so skinny what would she know anyone

this is what was happening these are the things that were going through people's

minds when they're walking into a shop and it happens to all of us we all go

there and we're walking into a shop into a workplace into a relationship into a

dinner party anywhere with these thoughts going into a head and it's

impossible for us to have a good experience because we're cluttered with

us not being good enough and people thinking that we won't be good enough so

of course when you go into this environment you're going to feel

invisible but it's not you're going to be invisible it's you're going to think

you're invisible all those thoughts are going to create what your reality is so

here's the kicker it's not them it's you and that's great cuz if it's you you can

fix it we can't fix them all the other people all we can do is work on what

we're thinking and what we're projecting so how great is that take a moment to

think back at the last time you did this think of the last time you felt like

nobody cared you're invisible I don't matter think about that time and think

about what you were thinking about yourself at that time okay it doesn't

matter don't beat up on yourself because that's like doing the most unkind thing

in the world to the person who you've got to love the most don't beat up on

yourself be kind to yourself always forgive yourself for doing things that

you've done and move on and do even better things but here is the remedy and

it will work 100% of the time I guarantee you before you enter that shop

or workplace or relationship or anything do this taking shopping for example

let's get our mindset right we'll start by saying I'm so excited that I'm going

shopping today I'm so excited that I'm going to find something that I love

wearing I love that I had the opportunity to go shopping today I love

that my body can walk through all their shops and look at all these beautiful

things today I'm literally at the best time of my life so I'm going to fully

live it and I'm going to buy beautiful things and I'm going to create outfits

for myself and I'm going to try on you may

and I'm just so excited because if I thought I couldn't do it before I know I

can do this now I know that I can have fun with all of this now I know that I'm

going to find something amazing today and I'm gonna look great in it and then

you look at that sales assistant before you look walk into the shop and you go

wow she looks beautiful today I love her outfit she's put a lot of effort into

how she looks today and I'm going to complement her when I go into the shop

and it's going to be from the heart it's going to be a real compliment and I hope

that I buy something so she gets a commission because if she gets a

commission and I get something nice we both win she may have had a really hard

day today and I'm gonna make sure that I make her feel good because that's gonna

make me feel good and she deserves my respect and my kindness everything about

my life is getting better every single day and I'm enjoying this experience so

much then walk into the shop walk into the dinner party walking to the lunch

with your girlfriends walk into any where and what results do you think

you're going to get do you think he's still not going to get noticed do you

think you're going to be invisible I guarantee that if you start doing this

in every aspect of your life that part of feeling invisible and feeling that

you don't matter anymore it'll disappear it has to it can't not if you're putting

those vibes out there to all those other people and to yourself which is most

important you can't feel less than you could you're building yourself up this

is just a really simple trick but it's so powerful and I would love for you all

to try this this week wherever you go give it a try and let me know if you get

some great results because I know that you will

you're only invisible because you say so everything about your life is what you

say to yourself and we've got to start changing that you are a product of your

collective thoughts and quite often we don't really know that we think that

it's other people's thoughts and other people's actions that create who we are

and it's not so now that you're in your 50s

you get to be the boss of you you get to decide if you want to be invisible if

you want to drift off into nothing well if you want to be there and be part of

everything you get to decide if you want to create you get to decide if you want

to travel you get to decide if you want to be happy so what do you want this

week to be like go out there give it a try and try this on somebody who you

normally have a problem with please give a thumbs up if this was any use to you

and please share it with your girlfriends if they're going through

something similar and feeling a little bit left out and a little bit invisible

thank you so much for watching and have a beautiful week

Tell us what you think about tackling obesity - Duration: 0:37.

I'm Craig Blundred, I'm a consultant in Public

Health here at Newcastle City Council. We currently

commission a wide range of services to tackle obesity, prevention,

and which include activities related to healthy eating and physical activity. We're really keen to

get the public's view, because we want to change our approach to tackling

obesity, and look at moving more towards a Whole Systems approach, which involves the whole city,

really involving the whole city in the conversation about how we prevent obesity.

We'd really like people's views on this, to tell us how we can engage with them,

how they would like to engage in the program, so if they'd like to

go along to the Let's Talk website and give us their views and opinions that would be great: https://letstalknewcastle.co.uk/

5 Short GDC Talks Every Aspiring Game Developer Should Watch - Duration: 5:55.

So you want to make video games? Well it's a hard life. In this video we have

some talks that will set you off on your journey with the right foot forward.

We'll be looking at 5 great GDC talks that are around 30 minutes and 30

minutes might not seem short but for a GDC talk it definitely is and you will

easily make that time back from the things that you learn in these talks. My

name is Gigity McD and if you like game design or if you want to learn how

to make games this is the channel for you. Hit that subscribe button, all the

links to these talks will be down in the description for you to check out. GDC is

probably the best place on the internet for long-form game design content. For

those who don't know what GDC is, the Game Developers Conference, abbreviated

to GDC, is a conference held every year that is developer focused. There are lots

of consumer focus conferences like PAX but GDC focuses on developers coming

together to share their wisdom and network with one another as

professionals. The conference runs over several days and presentations are held

throughout. And some of these talks make their way onto the GDC YouTube channel

which means we have the opportunity to extract the wisdom of the best in the

business. It can be a bit of a task to wade through them all so I am going to

suggest 5 talks that I think are extremely valuable to anyone making

games. The first talk is called Game Feel: Why your death animation sucks. This is

a great talk that attacks the idea just because you have a game that has

functional mechanics, doesn't mean it feels good to play. The presenter, PRESENTER: Hi, I'm Nicolae Berbece. Im an indie game developer from romania. GIGITY: goes

through things that you can add to your mechanically functional game to make it

feel and play much better. Covering things such as animation, screen shake

and the lesser-known chromatic aberration it's a great talk to cover

many of the basics of game feel. There's a bit of fun in there too as he demos

the game with people from the audience and he does a great job of explaining

each technique. This is a great place to start.

The second talk is called Get Journalists to Cover Your Game: lessons

from online dating, praying and No Man's Sky. Having a game that runs is only a

small part of being a successful independent developer, there are many

other parts of the game development process that sit outside of building the

game and marketing is one of them. There are quite a few very useful PR and

marketing talks on the free GDC channel. I picked this one because it's a compact

short a talk that covers many different techniques quickly so you can get a lot

from it. Then you can follow up on anything else

you thought it might be interesting. In the talk

Thomas Reisenegger gives us some useful stats to think of about the space we are

entering when we want to market our indie game. Then he gives us some tips on

how we can approach marketing our game to various parties to get maximum cut

through and hopefully get our games featured on new sites. Just a side note,

stats are great for framing but can sometimes go out of date really quickly

so just be careful when you see stats presented, particularly around things

like VR. Next up is Storytelling Tools to Boost Your Indie Games Narrative and

Gameplay. And this entry in the list is kind of two talks. Look at that value.

Mata Haggis is the lad giving this talk and I say this entry is kind of two

because matter has two talks and they are both great in their own ways. This

one is a crash course for storytelling in games and gives the audience a

structure for how the story in the game should play out. He covers flow and its

effect on the story, dramatic moments and how to craft the kind of tension you

need and more. There are lots of examples and Mata loves these box diagram things

which will eventually get filled up with all the key points from the talk so you

have a useful take away. If you are new to narrative or looking at adding

narrative to your game this is a good talk that covers many of the

considerations specific to writing for games. The second talk from Mata is

called Writing Nothing: storytelling with unsaid words and unreliable narrators. And

this is for the more experienced narrative designers out there that are

looking for new tools to up their writing game. In this talk meta covers

ways that you can write the same amount or less and convey deeper meaning with

your writing. He uses plenty of examples in this talk - so you really grasp the

concepts he is talking about and there's another takeaway graphic at the end.

Things covered include using non sequiturs, leveraging an unreliable

narrator to change things up for the player and also making omissions that

the player needs to fill in that deepen the understanding of the characters

mindset. Both talks are 100% worth looking into. The fourth talk goes by the

title Design in Detail: controlling land sliders. This is just a great down in the

dirt talk about one part of a games design. It's a great example of why you

need to listen to your audience and also how to work through a design problem. In

the talk, PRESENTER: My name is Luke Muscat. I am the creative director at Pretty Great. I was

previously the chief creative officer at Halfbrick Studios. GIGITY: talks about how they

implemented controls in their game Land Sliders. He goes over

some of the problems that they had and walks through how they went about

solving them. Such as whether they should include inverted controls, although it

clashed with their vision. There are a couple of neat tips and tricks and cool

solutions but mostly it's just a great story about how as a developer you go

through a bunch of difficult times trying to keep everyone happy and how

it's often the case that some people will be liking one thing and others will

like something else and you have to try your best to find a happy medium. Finally

number five. If you are really hardcore for your game theory it's Math for Game

Programmers: juicing your cameras with math. BUT don't click away just yet. It's

not as scary as the word math usually is. In this video... so the description says

the presenters name is Squirrel Eiserloh and I like that so much I'm not

even going to look up if it's correct. Anyway Squirrel discusses different

types of screen shake and camera movement and what the benefits of each

is. He also covers really quickly at the end the idea of a Veronoia split screen,

which is a smooth way to transition in and out of split screen for games that

have multiple players on the screen. If you are technically minded, it's a great

talk and he gives you pseudocode maths so you have a starting point for your

implementation. And that's all I've got for you. Go check out some of the

great talks, make sure to subscribe and if you like game design go check out

some of the rest of my content. Thanks for watching.

Interaction helps you grow. - Duration: 4:44.

Hi all.

Memorial Day is past and people are now looking forward to summer and we are still stuck with

the same problem.

How do we overcome the resistance?

How do we overcome our feeling of deprivation and how do we overcome the thought that everyone

else is having a good time and I am feeling just so-so because summer is here?

Well it's an interesting dilemma but it's only a dilemma if you don't look at yourself

in a truthful manner.

One of the things that struck me this week is the fact that the Facebook secret AccuWeight

group was extremely active.

The interactions really caught me and it was contagious and one of the things that happened

is that quite a number of people who focused on the Facebook secret group came in to the

office with really good showings and what I consider really good is four and a half

to six and a half pounds in a week and they all shared the same story by interacting with

others, by sharing with others, by responding to others and their comments.

With some it was different recipes, with others it was sharing a story, with others it was

responding to a story that was shared and even a one-word response like: great at a

way to go!

What I'm saying to you is: if we stay in isolation then we have a much more difficult time.

If we open up, if we interact, we begin to grow inside ourselves because it feels totally

different when you know you're working with others towards the same goal and it's not

a competition, it's a shared journey.

Now if you haven't tried it I'd like you to try it and then it would be very interesting

if you could then bring yourself to the point where you contacted me and said: Dr. Schwartz

you were right, Dr. Schwartz you were wrong or anything else that you'd like to say.

Become a part, become more proactive, become more verbal, become more interactive and make

your weight-loss journey a more exciting trip.

Take care.

Please support us on IndieGoGo. We are ready for production. All we need is your support

Here at the tastemade studios we're doing Facebook live. Yeah, but this cool new camera called the Nouveau

So first up with the sushi I want to take you down here, I've got some prepared snow but it's not leaving

And then adding a little bit of rice wine vinegar

So the noodles to waves, yeah, there you go folks we have a chance to make this at home

To

We set out to pioneer the future of robotics

We've unlocked the power of advanced mobile processors that enable us to run cutting-edge AI algorithms on it

With this technology, we created hover camera which allows anyone to capture photos and video from unique perspectives

to use harbor cameras very simple powered on

Flippa open like this and you can hold anywhere when you let go it just hovers automatically

With half a camera, you can take 13 megapixel photos and 4k with you

We've replaced a traditional gimbal with electronic image stabilization so that your shots are always steady

our camera is the first truly autonomous flying camera that anyone can use and

Is powered by our groundbreaking embedded AI technologies?

we built a ton of

Sophisticated AI algorithms into this small circuit board. It runs a powerful Hong Kong snapdragon 2.3 gigahertz

Quad-core processor this enables us to run complex calculations locally without the need for a remote server

The AI was developed in such a way that it reduces the learning curve. So anyone can operate it out of the box

That's why we've designed a revolutionary user experience that centers around hovering

Hovering is actually more difficult than just flying

The reason it hovers so steadily is because it's running optical flow on its downward

Viewing camera and visual slam from the front viewing camera. That's how it gauges its own speed and position at all times

On top of that we're running advanced flight control algorithms at 1 kilohertz

It's so intelligent that it follows people automatically as they move around

It does this without GPS but instead using real-time facial and body recognition

This is the most compact and elegantly designed flying camera on the market it is so small that it could easily fit into a purse

But you wanted to make sure that this device is safe. We've geared up with the suit of armor

This entire protective enclosure is made out of the most durable and lightweight carbon fiber material

The radical design allows users to grab throw and catch hover camera yet it lets just enough air to flow through

Without sacrificing the ability to hover or fly

Tony and I we both graduated from the Stanford engineering ph.d program

We have about 80 plus people now and a very diverse background

We're fortunate enough to be surrounded by a team of passionate and experienced adventurers who share our vision

We're setting new standards for aerial robotics

Pawel camera is always around capturing those unique moments being reaching your vision of the world

Newcastle, as well as the rest of the country, has witnessed an increase in

hate crime over the past two years. We want to stress that hate crime has no

place in our communities and develop the most efficient way to tackle it. That's

why we are undertaking a hate crime review, and are seeking your views on

reporting the types of hate crime, and how we can best support individuals and

communities affected by hate crime. I would like to invite you to complete the

questionnaire as it will inform our future plans and help us develop the

best way to tackle hate crime in Newcastle: https://letstalknewcastle.co.uk
