I

Think going from girl guides to girls first, one of the best things we're doing is adding the scaffolded programming

I kind of look at as you're one of the building blocks to help the girls reached what their potential is. I

See the potential that this program becomes the girls program it's no longer a program that is just given to them

It's something that they create and they design their own path. They get to discover who they are and what they want to do

They don't know what they don't know and if they haven't been exposed to

women in trades or

Women firefighters or helping in the community in certain ways. Those aren't the things that are going to come to their forefront

What I really see in girls first is a chance to change the program completely and really be able to make it

Customisable to what girls want and especially older girls

You want to try something new you want to experience something good and try it

The biggest potential for me and girls first is that we can create a space that is truly welcoming of every girl

Our goal is to listen to the girls and be there for them while they decide who they are

We are learning how to fly planes. We are building robots

We're going out and while we still get to bake cookies and South cookies. That's not who we are

It's what we get to do. Girl Guides is all about finding out who you are and getting to discover new use every single day

You cannot talk back to God - Duration: 2:24.

Christian believers are often very arrogant and entitled.

They are quick to justify themselves, using Bible verses to prove their salvation based

on their faith in Jesus, but the same people often have no fruit of repentance and holiness.

We might compare ourselves with ourselves and think that we are better than others but

Jesus is the final judge.

We might claim salvation based on our beliefs but if we do not obey Jesus we will not enter

His kingdom.

We will all give account to Jesus.

Jesus is the final judge and He will render to each man according to their works.

When you stand before Jesus you do not have any words, excuses, arguments or explanations.

The words fo Jesus, as recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are quite clear.

Repent and be baptized.

Seek Jesus always and live to please Him and He will guide and teach you.

He will give His Holy Spirit in you to be with you always but if you disobey and disregard

Him, you will perish.

If you disobey Jesus you will have no words, no defense.

You will be damned.

Submit yourself to Jesus.

Seek His guidance and stay close to Him.

If you have strayed from Him, repent, plead His forgiveness and run back to Him.

Stay with Him until the end.

His grace leads us to repentance and close communion with Him.

Do not despize His grace.

embrace Him and stay with Him, until the end.

May Jesus bless you

Mamandur Caves, India - Oldest Spiritual ENERGY center? - Duration: 5:41.

Hey guys, today we are going to see some of the oldest cave temples in South India, these

are called Mamandur caves, and they are in the middle of nowhere.

Archeologists estimate they were built around 600 A.D, which means they are at least 1,400

years old.

These are the very first artificial caves built by ancient builders in this region and

the beauty of these structures is that nothing was added in the construction process.

Normally, construction means adding materials to build a structure, but here, the construction

was a process of removing materials to create these structures.

Archeologists refer to them as temples, as a place of worship, but these were in fact

built as a place for meditation.

Spiritual leaders have mentioned that these are the oldest "energy sites" in all of South

India.

There are a total of 4 caves, and they are in terrible condition.

What you see on the ground is piles of bat droppings, the poop accumulated here is so

bad that breathing this in will make you sick as a dog and can cause diseases like histoplasmosis,

which can kill you.

So, if you ever plan on visiting this place, don't be like me and take necessary precautions.

According to archeologists these are incomplete caves, but there are a total of 4 caves and

all of them are said to be unfinished.

I mean think about this, people could have started building one cave temple and could

have left it unfinished.

But instead, archeologists say they people began working on the first cave and left it

unfinished, and then moved on to the next cave, which is right next to it.

And while the second cave was half done, they again gave up the project and moved to the

3rd cave and so on.

This is a ridiculous theory put forth by archeologists.

The reality is this, what you are looking at are finished structures.

Out of the 4 caves, the first one was built as a temple.

This was an ancient Shiva temple with a lingam in the center.

You can see paintings on the walls, which means that this is a finished structure.

Painting process only begins after completion of a structure, not in unfinished stages and

is usually the last stage.

If you look at other caves, they also have paintings which indicate they were also complete.

The main reason archeologists claim these are unfinished caves is because there are

no idols inside these chambers.

But these were created as a place for meditation, ancient texts describe monks meditating in

small, isolated chambers, and these are the oldest examples in the region.

If you look at the doorway of these chambers, you can see slots both at the bottom and at

the top.

These are for doors, to lock yourself in, in complete isolation for long hours of meditation.

This is why this ancient site was referred to as the spiritual center of South India.

In addition to isolated meditation, group meditation and chanting was also taught in

these caves.

This is why some of them have no private chambers and look like a pillared hall.

And the series of slots on the floor reveal that a roofed structure existed once upon

a time, there would have been stone slabs or wooden poles placed inside them to support

a roof.

A small group of people would sit together and chant a specific Mantra.

What kind of Mantra did they chant?

The visual representation of that Mantra is this cymatic pattern.

The same pattern is repeated on many of the pillars.

Decoding this pattern will reveal what Mantra was chanted inside the caves.

So, you can see what was once a spiritual center of India is now a place for drinking,

illegal activities and a massive home for bats.

Please share this video to spread awareness and I hope someday the Government can clean

up this mess.

I am Praveen Mohan, thanks a lot for watching, don't forget to subscribe and I will talk

to you soon.

Bye.

How Much Is Your 30-Year Mortgage REALLY Costing You? - Duration: 3:31.

Another place that people are losing money

that you may not even think about

is when it comes to your mortgage.

Yes, people, it's so normal just to get a 30-year mortgage

and go about your day and not even think about it.

Do you know how much money you're wasting

when it comes to payments and interest, and all of that,

versus getting a 15-year?

So, what I did is,

I went into my Facebook group

and I asked some of you questions,

and in my YouTube community,

because I wanted to test your smarts

when it comes to paying your house off early.

And it was very interesting.

So, according to the Census Bureau,

the average mortgage payment is $1,030.

Now, if you invested that money

instead of paying it to the bank,

how much could you have in 15 years?

Let's see what you said.

Oh, interesting, 34% of you got it right.

The correct answer is $475,000.

Mm hmm, you heard me right.

Almost half a million dollars you guys!

If you didn't have a mortgage payment and you invested that . . .

Half a million dollars, amazing.

Alright, next question is,

if you had a 30-year mortgage

but made one extra mortgage payment every three months,

how much earlier could you have a paid-for house?

Alright, this one was a little bit trickier,

but most of you thought the answer was five years,

but it's actually 11 years.

Yeah, 11 years.

That's the difference of looking like this

when you have a paid-for house or looking like this.

If paying an extra full mortgage payment

doesn't work in your budget,

then just simply switch to paying half of your mortgage bill

every two weeks instead of just once a month

and you can still pay off your home eight years faster.

Isn't that crazy?

Alright, final question is,

the average price of a home in America is $268,500.

Now, if you got a 15-year instead of a 30-year mortgage

at the current interest rate, that's 4.5%,

which of these things could you buy with the money

that you would have saved?

A: A designer handbag every six months for 30 years.

B: A nice beach vacation for your family

for the next 30 years.

Or C: A water jet pack.

Let's see, oh, everyone got this one right.

The answer is any of these, yes!

If you just got a 15-year instead of a 30-year,

you would have saved a $120,000, amazing.

And I actually got a couple of other funny responses

when it comes to this.

One of you said,

"Probably as big as any rental property

or a lot of shoes. I'm kidding—kind of."

Someone else said, "An early retirement."

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. Amazing.

And you know what?

If your mortgage is stressing you out,

there is no shame in considering just downgrading

or even selling your home.

The cash you could make could really set you up

for success in the long term.

And if you use one of our trusted professionals

that I recommend, you could get almost $5,000 more

at closing than with another agent.

So, remember once you own your home, you guys,

you have a paid-for house.

And it's now an asset that's 100% yours.

That really contributes to your net worth.

You're no longer paying the bank,

you are paying you and your future.

Now, if you want to find out

what your 15-year payment would be,

we've got a free and easy-to-use mortgage calculator.

So, make sure to click the link below.

Sadhguru - If you are receptive enough, you don't even need a master - Duration: 12:18.

(Questioner): Could you explain the importance of a living master

opposed to a master who is no longer in his body

and the difference really?

(Sadhguru): Do I have to really explain the difference between the dead and the living?

(Laughs) It's a big difference, isn't it?

What would you like to be right now -- living or dead?

Living, isn't it?

So the values of living I don''t have to sing.

It''s very significant to be living, isn't it?

Hmm?

Whether you are master or no master it is very significant to be living, isn't

it?

So that significance continues in everything.

Those who left their bodies can be a great inspiration,

but you cannot work with them.

There may be a certain span of time when they may be willing to work,

or they may be capable of working for a certain span of time,

that is,if they have set themselves up like that,

if they have certain level of mastery upon themselves,

there may be some who will work for a certain period of time,

otherwise their energies are conducive for your sadhana,

but they are not a guidance.

They are a good ambience, they are a good atmosphere,

they' are good soil for you to grow, but still they are not a guidance.

When you sit here you are not mostly receptivity;

you are mostly your own mind, isn't it?

Hmm?

Am I right?

Yes?

When you're mostly your own mind, you need guidance and guidance and guidance

and guidance.

If you are all receptivity you don''t even need a master,

I'm telling you, because grace is all over.

You don''t need a master, you don''t need a temple,

you don't need a meditation, you don't need anything

if you're all receptivity.

That's a rare being.

Right now you''re largely mind, moments of receptivity may be here and there,

isn't it?

When you are largely mind you will do best with the living, not with

the dead.

If you're all receptivity, you do well with the dead

and even without the dead you would do great

because grace is not in one place in the existence.

There is no place in the existence where there's no grace.

Maybe a few places are more conducive, that's different,

but there is no place in the existence where there is no grace.

It is just that, is it churning up intensely enough in a particular

place for you to be receptive?

Because your receptivity is at a certain level of insensitivity.

Now you see, you sit here you think this is just a garden.

If you go into the temple you will become like this.

Hmm?

But some people go into Dhyanalinga Temple and they look around, nothing is happening,

just chit, chit, chit, water drops are falling; 'Nothing happening.

What's happening here?'

Then we dunk them in cold water here.(referring to Theerthakund)

Then they go, sit there and they'll begin to - something happening.

There are some, even if you dunk them three times in the cold water

nothing happens, they go sit there and still look up and down.

You take them there to Bhairavi, suddenly they are up.

These are different types of energies.

It is not that here it's any less; even here it is

but it is not in the same level of intensity that you can perceive.

Wherever you are it is there.

You know there used to be boards, I don't know if they're still there,

I've not come and checked.

First when I came -- when we came and opened the Triangular Block

which was the only thing -- actually we had only one hut

and the first thing we built in the Triangular Block is one room and

we built the toilet block.

Then I found people had toilet problems.

You know what's a toilet problem?

It once happened; Shankaran Pillai went to the doctor and said,

'Doctor, I have some serious toilet problems.'

Then doctor asked, 'What is the problem?

You are not able to urinate, you're not able to pee?'

'No doctor perfect, every day 6 o' 'clock in the morning like clockwork it happens.'

'So you are not able... your bowels are not moving; what's happening?'

'No doctor it's perfect, every day at 7 o' 'clock in the morning like clockwork,

always on the dot.'

Then doctor thought about it, 'Then what is the toilet problem you have?'

He said, 'But doctor, I always get up at 8 o' 'clock!'

(Laughter) & (applause) So people had such toilet problems;

not that it was not happening, it was happening... it was happening little

messy.

(laughs) So I asked them to put up a board that,

'Divine is here also.'

Inside every toilet when you close the door, when you sit down it says,

'Divine is here also.'

(Laughs) So that you shit with some sanctity.

Shit can be a spiritual process.

After all the whole spiritual process is to cleanse yourself.

It is one of the most the best clean-up jobs you can do in a day.

Yes?

So Grace is there also, I am saying; it's not any less in the toilet,

but you may not be able to feel it in the toilet

because you want to finish your job and go out of that place.

Temple is more conducive; not just in atmosphere even in terms of energy,

it is made conducive so that you can feel it.

Right now there is life energy everywhere, but you're not able to take it in.

You have to make food in a certain way and consume it then only

you are able to take it in.

A goat comes and grazes this grass and he is nourished.

You cannot eat this grass and be nourished; you need a different kind of thing.

There are many insect forms, there are many other microorganisms

where for them 90% of their life energy happens because of sunlight and air -

no water, no food.

Only 10% of their energy happens because of water and

whatever food they consume because they are micro.

If you are micro, how much would you consume?

Micro... micro, isn't it?

So even in you if you become very receptive you will notice

you will see on a particular day if you remain very ecstatic through the day

you will see the volume of food that you eat will just come down

because your receptivity is better.

How you receive the sunlight, air and water --

easily 60% of your life energies can be generated from sunlight, air and water.

Only 40% from the food that you eat.

Most human beings in the world can eat 25 to 30% of what they're eating right now

and live perfectly well, maintain the same weight - not lose weight,

maintain the same weight, live perfectly well,

become much more healthy, much more agile, much more active and much more energetic

with just 25 to 30% of the food that they are eating.

You can experiment and it happens; when you're in a Bhava Spandana Program

you're not even eating 20-25% of the food that you normally eat,

because we don't give you time to eat (Laughs) and people are much more energetic than usual.

People come to Samyama, if they become meditative they barely eat and

they're still fine.

So your receptivity has to be enhanced.

If your receptivity is enhanced -- dead, living, even the non-existents will

help you, but when you are so full of mind you must

be with the living, otherwise you will deceive yourself,

you will receive all kinds of messages, the kind of messages that you like.

If your guru sends you a note from heaven, 'I love you,' don't believe it, it's your

mind.

Yes?

It's your mind, he doesn't do such things.

It's economical to receive love letters from heaven

because it doesn't cost any paper.

You know, it's ecologically very sensitive issue?

Paper.

So it's a very eco-friendly love affair.

It happened.

A boy went to college.

First day, he looked like this, on his left side there was a beautiful girl.

So, on a little piece of paper he wrote, 'I love you, do you?'

And passed the note to her.

She wrote, 'No!'And passed it back.

He looked at it, then he wiped out the 'No' and

gave it to the girl who was behind.

(Laughter) She looked at it and she said, 'Yes!'

And sent it back.

The moral of the story is (Laughter)

save paper and save nature.

(Applause) So, ecologically it's good, spiritually not

good.

So when you are so much mind you need constant

you need another mind to fix you.

If you are not mind, you were all receptivity, then the dead and even the non-existent would

help; even a rock would help you, I'm telling you.

Anything -- just a blade of grass could be your guru.

Yes.

But that is if you are mindless.

When you're so full of mind, no -

you need another mind, cleverer than your mind, constantly fixing

you.(Laughs)

Metallic Paper Butterfly | Craftsy | Michaels - Duration: 5:02.

(cheerful music)

- I'm Kristen Johnson, and this is my maker story.

I've always been inspired by the world around me,

and I feel like it's through experiences

that I've gained the most inspiration.

I did a fairy party recently,

and we wanted to be more of, not such a little girl theme,

but more of a inspiration when you walked in,

and we took some metallic paper,

and I thought, what's more beautiful

than fluttering butterflies, like movement,

and so we took this paper,

and we used the Cricut to create this butterfly,

and just using them multiple times,

it just created such a dramatic effect,

and it was a beautiful thing.

Cricut has changed my crafting,

because it just allows me to be more creative,

almost in a faster way.

I love this project.

It is so simple, and you get a huge wow out of it.

With minimal supplies, you can create a beautiful 3D look.

We're gonna use the Cricut Maker today.

This can be made on any Cricut machine.

We're gonna be using Cricut tools.

This is the fine-tip blade,

and comes standard on all machines.

Your weeding tool, which you'll find later that you need,

and a scraper.

We're gonna use the standard grip mat, metallic card stock,

mounting tape, or hot glue.

For this project, we're gonna be using the Cricut machine.

I'm using the Cricut Maker.

It can cut any surface, from tissue thin to balsa wood.

We're gonna be using the Cricut Design Space,

where you can use pre-loaded designs,

or even upload your very own.

The sky is the limit with your creations.

We are going to use

a pre-loaded Cricut Design Space butterfly.

It's perfect for this project, and so simple.

The reason we use metallic card stock is

it's thicker than any other kind of paper,

and when we fold the wings up later,

it'll help it stay stiff.

The intricate designs of this butterfly

will really show through with the thickness of this paper.

Now that you have your design selected,

and in your design space, it's time to cut.

You're gonna use your metallic card stock

and your standard grip mat.

Remove your protective filming from your mat

and use the guidelines on your mat

to put your paper on the mat.

Press down so that it sticks all the way,

on all four corners and in the center,

and simply load this into your Cricut machine.

Now it's time to remove your butterfly design from your mat.

A quick tip is to take your mat and place it on its belly.

This causes the paper to stay straight and flat,

and not fold as you pull it.

We're gonna take the mat part, hold the paper down,

and simply pull down your mat.

Your mat is pliable, so don't worry about it.

This causes your paper to stay flat,

and your design to stay in one piece.

It actually does some weeding for you as well.

In case you have some remnants left behind,

you can see it right there,

you're gonna use your weeding tool.

It's a very simple tool

used to pop out and expose the negative space.

Pop it out and simply pull it off.

Our paper design is ready to go.

The negative space is exposed.

Everything is clean.

It's time to fold.

We used this paper for this design

because metallic paper is super-reflective,

so when it's folded it can reflect the sunlight,

and it just has a little dazzle about it.

When you fold this paper, it is not easily pliable.

It makes the wing stiff,

and appear as if it's a true 3D design.

I like to use my weeding tool, and I score it.

Scoring it helps create that straight line

for when you fold it.

Otherwise, you can have wrinkleage,

and it doesn't look as nice.

You're gonna take it, fold it on its belly,

push down on that line, unfold.

Then you're gonna go to the other side

and do the same exact thing.

You're gonna hold it on itself,

make sure it's creased all the way down, and exposed,

and there you go: you have your metallic paper butterfly

all ready to go.

Your butterfly is now ready for your next event or nursery.

So let's talk about how we're going to attach it.

For a temporary hold,

you're gonna wanna use more of a mounting tape.

For more of a permanent hold, I suggest hot glue.

These butterflies are great

for all kinds of events and occasions.

Use them on a banner,

or my personal favorite, a painted canvas.

I want you to look at the world around you and be inspired,

incorporate it into your everyday life,

but whatever you do, just create.

You've Been Phished! - Duration: 2:45.

To click or not to click, that is the question.

[SOUND] >> I just don't get it.

We provide training every year, every year.

We spend a lot on technology.

Why do they keep on clicking? >> Well, it turns out it's not so simple.

Training humans is much more complex than training lab animals to decide between two

choices.

For years organizations have tried to minimize phishing

attacks through a combination of technology and training.

Some have even considered establishing policies where employees who fall for

three phishing attacks are out. >> Cyber security isn't baseball.

Our research has shown that context is a critical factor in why users click or

don't click on a phishing email.

The more the context of the message seems relevant to a person's life or

job responsibilities, the harder it is for

them to recognize it as a phishing attack. >> These emails were designed to look like

real phishing attacks to find out what makes people click or not click.

Those who clicked did so because the email appeared legit at first glance and

the context was believable. >> [SOUND]

>> [INAUDIBLE] So

could have been something I missed. >> Those who did not click

often noticed something odd in the email and

became concerned about the potential consequences of clicking,

like downloading malware or viruses. >> I definitely

thought it was suspicious since I don't get any invoice-related

stuff. >> By being punitive towards staff

members, you may be taking away the qualities that make them responsive and

great at what they do.

Awareness training should be just that, centered around raising awareness and

encouraging early reporting in a non-punitive manner.

>> So what should we do?

>> Users have to be treated as partners in

the fight for security, not as the enemy within.

Security mechanisms are designed, implemented, applied and

breached by people and that's why we must consider human factors in their design.

First, users must be educated about new scams and how they work.

Second, technology must keep up with new scams and move beyond reactive methods.

Finally, we must make it easier for

users to report attacks because early reporting helps minimize the damage.

This way, instead of being phished,

you can spend your time doing the fishing.

Today we're gonna talk about the infamous cheat day,

and my thoughts on the very notion of a cheat day.

So first thing, always gotta emphasize,

especially with these types of videos.

I'm not telling you what or what to do.

You want a cheat day, have a cheat day.

You like a cheat day, have a cheat day.

We are not in the business of being a nagging spouse

We're just providing information,

and if you choose to use that, great.

If you choose not to, that's cool too.

So these are just my thoughts

on the whole concept of a cheat day.

So, number one, as a whole host

of people besides me have pointed out,

the very word cheat is really ridiculous when it comes

to using it in this particular context.

We use cheating to refer typically to academic dishonesty,

cheating on a test or marital infidelity

or something of that nature.

Why are we using that term for something

that you are actively choosing to do

and not harming anyone else?

I don't really understand it.

I think there's a whole lot of psychological baggage

that comes along with it.

I understand the idea,

trying to say, oh, well,

you've made a promise to yourself

and you're cheating on that promise.

But I think it just, it creates all

this psychological baggage

that is just really really unhealthy,

and I'll delve into that a little bit more in just a second,

but I think as Robb Wolf,

one of my favorite people in the health

and nutrition space has said,

we eat food, there's certain consequences

that come from eating said food, and that's it.

There should be no guilt

or shame or anything around this notion

of cheating on your diet.

It's like, you either make a choice

to have some food or you make a choice not

to have some food, and that's really it.

We shouldn't be using this term of marital infidelity

or academic dishonesty for cheating.

Second problem with the cheat day in my opinion,

blood sugar roller coasters.

So you're going along,

going along, going along,

you miss your whole food

and then you spend this entire day essentially coming close

to being diabetic, let's say,

not of course actually,

but just spiking your blood sugar unnecessarily

with all these kind of off-plan meals.

I think that is really problematic,

which I guess leads into the third idea.

When you make it into this kind of day,

there are a few things that happen.

There's this image of kind of someone sitting in the corner,

chowing down on a bag of Doritos,

saying, oh, it's my cheat day,

it's okay, and actively searching for bad stuff to eat,

because it's your cheat day.

I think that whole notion is problematic.

I think if you're gonna have off-plan food,

it should be with others in the social context.

It should be a legitimate special occasion

as we've talked about many other times,

and it shouldn't just be because it's that day,

it shouldn't just be because it's a Saturday.

Realistically speaking,

it's not the case that we need

to have this gigantic binge once a week just

because it's a Saturday,

which leads into the next problem with the notion

of a cheat day is you create

this very unhealthy psychological relationship with food.

Part of that unhealthy psychological relationship comes

from the idea of, you're cheating on someone

and the guilt and shame that comes along with it.

But the other half comes from the idea of just

kind of this binging and then purging

when Monday comes around.

Not literally purging,

but kind of cleaning things up and okay,

it'll come back around

on Saturday so I can binge as much as I want.

I think that just creates an unhealthy psychological

relationship with food.

So what do we propose instead?

Well, I've said in many other videos

that I think there's nothing wrong

with having off-plan foods

like pizza and ice cream and you know,

health conditions notwithstanding,

they are some people who legitimately

with certain health conditions can't have those things.

But health conditions notwithstanding,

every year on my birthday I have a pizza

and I'm going to continue to do that with friends,

and enjoy myself, and

I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with that,

but it should be for a special occasion.

So how do you navigate this?

So again, don't try to plan this one specific day

that has no connection to Thanksgiving,

or Christmas or these other special occasions,

just a random Saturday

where you're just gonna completely binge.

That's just silly.

There's nothing wrong with having maybe a couple squares

of dark chocolate on the weekend, or a glass of red wine if

that's your thing, or maybe a gluten-free burger

or something like that,

but just from the outset,

let's reduce it down from

like a cheat day to maybe a meal

which I wouldn't call it cheat meal,

because again, I think the whole notion

of calling it a cheat everything is ridiculous.

But something that you are sharing with others,

something that you legitimately enjoy

and you're not just having it just because,

oh, it's my cheat day.

Those are for the, kind of more your yellow light items

like the dark chocolate

and red wine and the gluten-free items

that we've talked about in other videos,

and then for those red light items,

those things that don't actively contribute

to your health in any way, shape or form,

you really should just save those in

kind of our opinion for no more than once or twice a month,

only for the purpose of a special occasion

and only for something you truly care about.

It shouldn't be something that happens on a regular basis,

and no one's gonna be perfect with all

of these rules all of the time,

but this can be a way to guide you.

So just in general, when people asked me what I thought

of their cheat day, I think it creates a horribly unhealthy

relationship with, psychological relationship with food,

I think it makes people end up eating bad things

that they wouldn't normally eat

just because it's a cheat day,

and I think it makes it

so that they fail long-term at keeping their cravings

and appetite in check,

and I think there's a whole better way to do things

that involves having those off-plan things less frequently

and in a more special and meaningful context.

All right guys, thanks so much for tuning in.

Do You Have Nasal Congestion? Try These 7 Remedies to Quickly Find Relief - Duration: 6:33.

Do You Have Nasal Congestion? Try These 7 Remedies to Quickly Find Relief

If you frequently have nasal congestion, you probably know how annoying the feeling is.

Don't miss out on these efficient ways to allow your nasal passages to open up in a question of minutes.

1,Massage between your eyebrows.

Massaging the point between your eyebrows will help you find relief faster than you think.

You only have to massage lightly in this area for one minute, which will have an excellent effect on the mucous in the nose.

• With this simple massage, you'll be able to prevent dryness and inflammation of the nostrils.

• All of this has a preventative effect.

This also reduces the pressure in the frontal zone.

2,Massage the nostrils.

Massaging the sides of your nostrils is another way to open up the nose rapidly.

• For this, you just have to lightly press your index finger on the nostril.

You'll be able to make circular movements on the outside of the nostrils for one or two minutes.

• This procedure will help you open your nose and it will be much easier to clear.

3, Massage the point between the lips and the nose.

Massage your area that is between the lips and the nose.

• To do this, use your index and middle finger and use light pressure.

• Don't forget to make circular movements on the sides of the nose for 1 or 2 minutes.

This procedure will help you open the nostrils and it will be easier to blow your nose.

4, Humidify the environment.

If the humidity in the air is less than 40%, the mucous of the nose will become dry and this will obstruct breathing.

Therefore, if you have mucous, but the humidity is low, you can develop serious complications due to bacteria.

• Make your living area comfortable by taking into account that to have the humidity at a perfect point, it should be at between 40 and 60%.

5, Warm your nose.

Wet a napkin or paper towel in water and heat it by putting it in the microwave or use warm water.

Then, squeeze it out.

• Just make sure that it's not too hot and at a comfortable temperature.

Thanks to the heat, the mucous will become more liquid.

• Once that the nose has warmed up, blow it and rinse your nostrils with a saline solution.

6, Do you have allergies? This can be the solution!.

If you have allergies, exercise may help you.

Be aware that when cardiac rhythm increases, so does body temperature.

As a result, mucous becomes more liquid and it's much easier to blow your nose.

• Doing 15 minutes of physical exercise will be enough to overcome sneezing and avoid allergies.

7, Help yourself with steam from the shower.

Steam from the shower can be your best ally to alleviate nasal congestion.

Between the humidity and the hot temperature, you'll be able to lower the inflammation.

You'll see that you can breathe better.

• For this, you just need to take a shower with hot water.

• Another option is to boil water and salt in a pot, breathe the vapors and cover your head with a towel.

• You may also purchase a vaporizer or humidifier to avoid a dry environment and improve breathing when you sleep.

6, With honey.

Honey can help nasal congestion in an important way.

Taking 2 tablespoons of honey regularly will be enough to treat a stuffed up nose if it tends to happen frequently.

The best way to take it is to dissolve it in a cup of warm water and drink before going to bed for best results.

7, Apple cider vinegar for nasal congestion.

Another easy option that you have is apple cider vinegar.

This substance can also help you to improve nasal congestion.

Ingredients.

• 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.

• 1 glass of water. Instructions.

Add the vinegar to the glass of warm water and drink this homemade solution 4 times a day.

Connect iPhone to Canon Powershot 360HS Vlogging Camera – WiFi Setup to Transfer Pictures to Phone - Duration: 2:59.

The Canon Powershot 360HS is one of the most popular vlogging cameras available today.

But to make it even more functional, I'm going to show you how to connect it to your smartphone

so you can share the images from this camera easier on social media!

This is all done through the Canon Camera Connect app.

It's free to download and available for iOS and Android.

I just installed it on my iPhone and I'll quickly get out of these popup windows.

And once I'm in the main app, I'll tap on the Connect to Camera button.

And here I'll connect my first camera to the app.

Then hit Next.

I'll tap on the PowerShot option here.

Now I'll try and find my camera.

I looked before and the 360HS isn't in the list so I'll tap on top button.

And here I'll tell it that the camera doesn't support Bluetooth.

At this point, find the Wifi button on the back of the camera and press it to power the

camera.

The first thing that will pop up is the camera's nickname.

This can be renamed but I'll just keep it at the default setting.

Hit the Set button to confirm.

And now choose the Connect to Smartphone icon and hit Set.

Now hit Set again to Add a Device.

This screen shows you the Wifi name and password for the camera.

You'll need this later in the phone setup.

The next thing to do is to connect the phone to the camera's Wifi network.

In the Wifi settings, the name of the camera will appear as one of the networks.

Tap the camera name and enter the password that is shown on the camera's screen and hit

Join.

And now we're getting really close to being finished.

Going back into the Camera Connect app.

It can now detect the 360HS over Wifi so all I have to do is tap on the camera name.

And now select Yes on the camera to finish the connection.

Now you can view all the images and videos stored on the SD card inside the 360HS.

I can go through the pictures and easily transfer any of them to my phone's camera roll.

So now that the photo is on my phone, I can easily share it on Facebook, Instagram and

other social media sites.

The other cool thing you can now do is remote control the camera with the phone.

Just be aware that the lens will extend when you start remote shooting.

In this mode, you can now use the phone as a wireless external monitor to see what you're

shooting.

So I hope you found this video helpful in setting up the Wifi feature on the Canon Powershot

360HS.

And if you did, please give me a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to my channel

to stay on top of all my weekly videos!

Tutorial 17 - Read the .vir file - Duration: 2:14.

Tutorial - How to read a VIR file The file type you get when you save a design

Open the vir file with a text editor like TextEdit or any other text editor. The file will look like this ...

or like this. On the first picture there is one line for every balloon you used

On the second one everything is in one line. You have to break it up. Replace </image> with </image> and press the Enter Key. Replace them all.

This shows you the order number of the balloon. In this case it is Qualatex 58276B_CS_R.

The width and height gives you the original size of the balloon. This is in mm. So in this case 276 mm = 11 inch.

Here you can see the factor for the sizing you used. In this case it is 0.6728 for all the balloons as they are all the same size. You calculate 276 mm * 0.6728 = 185.6928 mm = 7.31 inches

If you don't use the image of a round balloon as we did for the garland you have to use the "width" of the original balloon for the calculation. In this case it is 280mm * the factor = your size in inches in the width of the balloon.

This is only a temporary solution. We are working on it so you will be able to see what size the balloon is while you change the size.

Thank you for watching

#FiveThings About Service Workers {S:01 E:20} - Duration: 5:32.

>> My son was singing this song this morning.

>> Yeah.

>> It's like, you're going to go record do,

do, do, do like, yes.

>> Do do do do do do do.

>> Hi, my name is John Papa.

>> I'm Craig Shoemaker.

>> Welcome back to Five Things.

This week we're going to about five things

about Service Workers. Craig.

>> That's me.

>> Yes. I almost called the camera man. Number one.

>> Number one. What are Service Workers?

>> What are Service Workers? Well, they are

a Javascript proxy that works within the browser.

>> Okay.

>> Operates independent of the UI thread.

So, it gives you an opportunity to kind of

deal with different fetch

requests that go out from the browser.

>> That's it?.

>> Well, I got more to say

in the next one. That's like the set up.

>> No. Number two,

why and when do I use these?

>> They're mostly used in

the context of progressive web apps,

and even than that,

you'll often find them used in offline context.

So the idea is that,

as you have a request that go out from the browser,

you can intercept that and then

return contents that you

might have cached in the browser.

As well as the technique of being able to keep

data in sync between different tabs

without an API like this is often very difficult.

So using service worker,

you can achieve things like that

and also, push notifications.

So you have an ability to allow

your web app to act a little bit

more like a desktop application.

>> So if I had a set of data that I commonly

use all over the place and then I really

don't have to enter the server every time.

>> Right.

>> Instead it's just storing a local variable which only

works in my current tab.

>> Exactly.

>> Like maybe a list of states or countries.

>> Right.

>> Get those, cache them,

then the Service Worker can say,

don't make, then recall, retrieve them.

>> Yes, exactly. The nice thing about it

is that there's restrictions about how

the Service Worker stays alive so that

you know for a fact that if you have multiple tabs open,

you're only hitting one version of the app.

>> Number three.

What about the life cycle of this Service Worker?

Like how does it stay alive?

How do you know when it's gone?

>> Well, the first thing that happens is when you

hit a page that registers a Service Worker,

it'll start installing the Service Worker.

At that point you enter into a phase where

it kind of waits to get a response.

You could reach out and grab assets like images,

CSS, Javascript, to cache on the browser.

You could hit like an Azure function and get

some compute happening and return data from there.

But whatever is happening

asynchronously, once it comes back,

then you'll be able to set it up and it will

be active and then it can take,

fetch requests from there.

Like I know on your website,

you've set it up so that

any image that's requested returned your head shot.

>> That's how we're doing this.

>> Yeah, that's right.

>> What if I want to expire the Service Worker?

How do I make sure of this new version I come across?

>> Well what you do is, you give it

a new key and then you

need to make sure that all the browser tabs are closed,

or you exit Chrome, or you completely

navigate away from the application.

Then once you come back to

it and it looks at the new key that comes in,

then you can install a new version of the Service Worker.

>> Okay. Sweet. Number 4.

What kind of restrictions

does a Service Worker put on my app?

>> The first one is it always needs to run

through SSL and that's

a really good thing because you can imagine that

with the type of power that's available here,

you don't want anyone getting in

the middle and getting up in your business.

The only exception to that is for localhost.

When you're developing on your local machine,

you don't have to worry about having

a local SSL client set up there.

That's the first part of it.

The next part is the second time

around is really when you're going to

see the Service Worker.

The first time you hit a page

that registers a Service Worker,

it's uncontrolled by the Worker.

So you need to navigate away or go

back to it in some other way and that's when

the Service Worker comes alive at that point.

>> Comes alive.

>> Coms alive. Just like the name in hindsight,

it's a worker so it exists in

a context that's away from the UI thread and so,

you don't have direct access to the dot.

Just like you can do with a web worker,

you're going to post and receive

messages between the two different items.

>> How can I make sure I set it up right?

>> One of the best ways is you can install Lighthouse

which is a browser extension that will go

through and analyze your Service Worker for a lot of

different aspects of the really progressive web app,.

>> Okay.

>> But it will hit much of what it has to do with

Service Workers and you can read

the reports and deal with it from there.

>> That's nice.

>> Yeah.

>> Number five. What about browser support?

>> Browser support is actually pretty good

even though it's a relatively new API.

All of your modern browsers

are going to include support for it.

If you go to Kause.com,

global support is reported at about 75%.

It's not the type of thing where we're going

to take for granted that everybody has it,

but the name of the game here really

is progressive web apps.

As long as your app works

without using the Service Worker,

that's a really good start and

then people can opt in the same.

Maybe they want to take your application off line.

Maybe they want to opt in to push notifications.

Depending on how you set up, it can work really well.

>> All right. Thank you.

>> Thank you.

>> My name is John papa.

>> I'm Craig Shoemaker.

>> We just learned five things about Service Workers.

>> He's got to go teething going on right now, right?

Which I haven't seen with one though before.

>> Yeah.

>> He seriously gets

self-conscious about looking like me.

>> Really?

>> Sorry. We did a talk together.

He put a wig on just to do it and see the difference.
