G'day fellas, how're you goin'?

- He's cosplaying that AGAIN?? - She only cosplays THOSE kinds of characters

- oh they're nothing like the character, why do they choose to cosplay that?

HmmhrmhrmhrmHRM, why indeed?

Anyone can cosplay whatever they feel like, but why do we choose to cosplay certain

characters or even certain costumes to cosplay? Even if you haven't thought

about it too much there are a few reasons why! So in today's video, I

wanted to reveal to you these reasons and discuss why we choose to cosplay the

things that we do. You think you already know the answer? Well, let's find out!

Now the first reason that you choose to cosplay the things that you do

is because you love the character or the series that it's from. When we find a

TV series, a movie or an anime that we really like everyone's got different

ways of showing how much they love it.

Yeah I'm looking at you, ya kids with a big, sexy hug pillow!

But hey, some buy pillows, some buy figurines, some like to

wear it on a t-shirt and some of us like to cosplay as them! You know, we're gonna say things like:

- oh my god I look the same as that character! - oh my god I really resonate with them,

they're just like me! - I really admire her I want to be just like her!

Now we tend to like certain characters or even real-life

people based on the qualities that they possess. You know this could be, we could

just look up to them and admire them, or we could really resonate with their

thoughts and beliefs or we could really relate to their living situation and see

how similar it is to ours or even we could just fall in love with them as a

character just for who they are! And love for a character can even extend to the

TV series, movie or anime that the character is from in the first place. Now

typically it's going to be a series that either resonated or challenged your

beliefs really strongly or it's one that's had a really huge emotional

impact on you. You know what I'm talking about it's the shows that have made you

laugh ridiculously at something stupid, something that's made you motivated to

become something amazing or those shows that have made you absolutely, utterly

cry your heart out over something that's happened - especially during the last

episode. But whether it's an entire series or just a particular character,

fallling in love with either of things on a really deep

level is the first reason that you're gonna be cosplaying certain characters.

And the second reason you'll choose to cosplay what you do is because you love

the design. Now you might not even know anything about the series or the characters

but you were just walking along one day or browsing the internet one day and

you spotted a character and you said to yourself: that looks awesome I want to

make that! And then suddenly you're looking at this character costume really really

intently thinking through your head all this mumbo-jumbo magic about how the

hell you're gonna make it! I mean sometimes in the first place it's

the character and the costume design anyway that's the selling point. You know you

might have been on the look for a series to watch, or you've been looking for a

costume that could really challenge your cosplay making skills.

Or maybe you saw an outfit which you thought, ''damn I'd look really good at that!''

Or if you're anything like me you've been keeping your eyes peeled for

something really complicated to make for an upcoming cosplay competition. But hey,

as a cosplayer loving the design of an outfit is the only reason you need to

make it! Now if you didn't love a series, you didn't love the character, you didn't

even like the costume design, is there any other possible reason that you'd actually

cosplay something? And there is ONE more reason why you'd choose to cosplay

something and that's because you love your friends! Maybe your friends needed

just one more person to complete the whole gang from the series that they all

really loved. Maybe you want to surprise a friend by cosplaying a character that

you know that they really love! Or maybe your friends want to dress you up in a

character that they thought that you really suited. Whatever the reason,

cosplaying this character obviously wasn't your first preference because it would

have either been on your to-do list already or you probably would have

already made the costume yourself. But even if you didn't know or like the

series or character, you still cosplay it anyway because it promises to be a lot

of fun. And there you have it: three reasons why you choose to cosplay the

things that you do. Now as i've explained in a previous video I'm not a really big

advocate of making a costume just to fit in with a bunch of people or try to

please somebody else, but when you're making a costume as a solo project or with a

group of friends I think as long as you're making it purely because you

actually REALLY want to do it, you're always gonna have a great time making it no matter what.

So what cosplay are you making at the moment and why are you making it?

Is it because you like the design? Is it because you like the character? Or are

you making it with a bunch of friends? Let me know in the comments below, I'd love to

see what you guys are up to! And honestly thanks to anybody who does

put a comment in any of my videos, I really enjoy reading the comments that

anybody puts out there about what you guys get up to! I obviously don't get the

chance to catch up with everybody regularly at a convention, so it's really

cool to be able to just chat for a bit here! Once again, thanks so much for watching

guys, really appreciate it! And as always, I will catch you in another video soon! Bye!

Did You Know that Crow's Feet Mean Something and You Can Prevent Them? - Duration: 7:36.

Did You Know that Crow's Feet Mean Something and You Can Prevent Them?

Crow's feet aren't just a matter of looks.

Believe it or not, they also tell you how your liver is doing.

That's why you can prevent them naturally and improve your overall health at the same time.

Find out below what crow's feet really mean and how to prevent them easily, effectively, and naturally, without having to turn to expensive beauty treatments.

What are crow's feet and what do they mean?.

Crow's feet are wrinkles that appear by your eyes and extend towards your temples (the ones that are accentuated when you smile and laugh.

They're "smile lines," but the reason you see them more on some people and less on others is that they are related to your liver function.

Pronounced crow's feet, especially at an early age (like in your 20's, mean that you have weak liver function.

"Take a look at this article: 9 Foods that are Good for Your Liver: Take Advantage of Them!".

What causes liver weakness?.

There are many factors that can harm your liver, and, as a result, encourage the appearance of crow's feet:.

Not eating well.

Eating too many fried foods and poor quality fats (pastries, margarine, creams, dairy, etc), sugar, artificial sweeteners, and refined flour.

An excess of meat and dairy.

These should be consumed in moderation.

Food additives found in many non-organic foods.

Certain medications.

Toxic habits like drinking or smoking.

Negative emotions, especially anger.

Stress. Environmental pollution.

How can I improve my liver function?.

Your liver is an organ that plays a role in your metabolism, immune system, and the purification of your blood.

While it feels the effect of all kinds of things that happen to you every day, it also has an amazing ability to regenerate.

That's why certain remedies and natural techniques are able to improve its health and prevent or minimize crow's feet.

Applying heat.

Your liver's temperature tends to go down when it is in a weakened state, so applying heat locally can improve it.

You can do it in multiple different ways:.

Heating pads. Hot water bottles.

A warm moist washcloth with a dry cloth on top.

Apply heat for a half hour every day before bed, because it can make you feel sleepy.

Coffee enema.

A coffee enema increases the activity of the GGT enzyme (gamma-glutamyl transferase).

This enzyme is essential for a healthy liver.

It helps remove bile and detoxify your body.

Coffee enemas are done with toasted, powdered coffee, and can be applied once or twice a week.

Medicinal plants.

Bitter medicinal plants are good for your liver and improve your overall digestion.

Certain teas can help you regulate and improve your liver function without any side effects, and thus also help treat crow's feet.

Have a plant-based medicinal tea every night for your liver:.

Milk thistle. Wormwood. Boldo. Artichoke.

Dandelion.

You can sweeten them with stevia and make them even more effective by adding a bit of lemon juice.

Amino acid supplements.

One of the most convenient ways to detox your liver is by taking plant-based supplements with the ability to improve liver function.

One option is amino acids, in particular:.

L-Arginine. L-Ornithine. L-Citrulline.

Note: While amino acids can be good for your liver, do not consume them if you have cirrhosis.

"Want to learn more? 7 Supplements You Should Take Every Day for Ideal Health".

Green smoothies.

Green vegetables have the power to regenerate your liver.

That's why one way to consume more of them, and absorb more of their nutrients by eating them raw, is with green smoothies.

They combine fruits like apples, strawberries, and bananas with leafy greens like spinach, chard, beet greens, and arugula.

The result is a very nutritious and detoxifying smoothie with a bright green color and delicious flavor.

You can have a green smoothie every morning for breakfast and even add other ingredients if you like: milk alternatives, nuts, seeds, cacao, etc.

Try it!.

Do You Idolize Your Kids? - Duration: 4:53.

When you picture a terrible father,

you probably picture someone who

doesn't love his children enough.

But what about a father

who loves his children too much?

We've all seen it, haven't we?

Maybe even in our own lives.

A father whose children are his absolute

pride and joy,

whose success is tied to their success.

Whose happiness is tied to their happiness.

A father who loves his children

more than anything else,

who literally

idolizes them.

Do you know who that's not good for?

It's obviously not good for the dad.

His children will never be able to deliver

what he is looking for in them.

But as you can imagine, it's not

good for the kids, either.

That kind of weight, those kinds of expectations

are absolutely crushing.

In fact, nothing is worse

than someone depending on us for their

joy and fulfillment in life.

That maybe helps us understand

why God asked

a father named Abraham

to do something that seemed so strange.

In the Bible, the story of Abraham

sort of revolves around

the promise of a son that

God would give to him

and his wife, Sarah.

And yet, even before that son was born,

Abraham sort of showed

that he loved that son

a little too much.

When Abraham got impatient

waiting for that son to arrive,

he decided that he was going

to have another son with another woman.

And when God made it clear

that wasn't the son that God had promised,

Abraham was anything but a good and loving father

to that son.

But then after 25 years of waiting,

that son finally arrived.

You can imagine how Abraham

might have been tempted,

not just to love his son, Isaac,

but to love him too much.

And so God asked Abraham

to give his son up,

to offer him as a sacrifice

to God,

to demonstrate that as much as he loved his son,

he loved God even more.

And this time, Abraham passed the test.

Rather than

loving his son more than anything else,

Abraham trusted that

God was going to provide, that,

that somehow God was going to figure this out

not just for Abraham

but also for Isaac.

As fathers, we naturally think of it as

part of our job

to provide for our children what they need.

But very often, we can mistakenly look

to them to provide us with what we need.

Maybe by the time we enter

into fatherhood, life

hasn't exactly shaped up

to what we hoped it would be.

Career aspirations have

turned into nothing more than a daily grind

as we clock in and clock out of our jobs.

The thrill and the romance

of dating life has

sort of lost its luster in marriage.

Maybe life seems like nothing more

than this endless list of duties

and obligations.

And so it's no wonder

why parents sometimes idolize their kids.

Why they look to bring back some of that joy,

some of that excitement and optimism

about life through their children.

Why they end up loving their children

too much.

In response,

I'm pretty sure God isn't going to ask you

to sacrifice your children.

But in a very real way,

God does ask us

to give our children up,

to turn away from them

as the source of all that we need,

including our joy and fulfillment in life.

To turn to him for those things instead.

In the book of Romans,

Paul says this,

The very same God

who loved us so much that

he did in fact give up his son

promises to provide us with all that we need,

including

the joy and fulfillment

that we so desperately crave.

Rather than our kids needing parents

who love them more than anything,

our kids need fathers

who are full of faith,

fathers who look

for everything that they need,

not in them,

but in God.

Are you looking for guidance from God's word?

Is there a specific topic

that you would love

encouragement with?

Are you struggling with a spiritual problem

or just need a reminder of

God's incredible grace?

John Michael Watts: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com

John Michael Watts has been identified as the veteran who set himself on fire in front of the Georgia State Capitol today.

Before he was taken to the hospital with severe burns, he said that he had done the horrific act to protest his treatment by the VA.

Here is what we know so far about Watts and what happened.

John Michael Watts Had Fireworks & Homemade Incendiary Devices Strapped to Him.

The George Bureau of Investigation identified the veteran as John Michael Watts.

They had delayed identification until family had been notified.

The veteran walked up to the state Capitol building with homemade incendiary devices and fireworks strapped to him, WSBTV reported.

He then poured a liquid, likely gasoline, on himself and set himself on fire.

He was the only person injured.

The 58-Year-Old Veteran Has Burns on About 90 Percent of His Body.

A state trooper used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames, but not before the man was seriously injured.

The veteran, who is a 58-year-old from Mabelton, has burns on 85 to 90 percent of his body.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Watts does not have a current address.

AJC reported that Watts was a veteran with the Air Force.

A Sign on Watts' Car Had a Name & Phone Number on It.

Watts' car was parked near the Capitol building.

It had a large sign on the windshield with a name and phone number written on the sign, WSBTV reported.

Officials asked that no one call the number because they were concerned it might be connected to an incendiary device.

People in the area were asked to move about a block away from the capitol while police searched the car.

Watts Was Protesting His Treatment by the VA.

Watts was able to speak enough to say that he was protesting his treatment by the VA, just before he was taken to the hospital.

Around 10:45 a.

, he parked his Nissan Sentra on Washington Street and started walking toward the Capitol building, AJC reported.

The Department of Veterans Affairs has 1,700 clinics and hospitals.

A 51-year-old veteran set himself on fire and died in March 2016 in New Jersey.

The staff had not ensured he received adequate mental health care, The New York Times reported.

Michael Owens, a Marine Corps veteran in Georgia, told The New York Times that many veterans have said the state VA is not responsive to them.

"Being a disgruntled veteran is something that I hear a lot throughout our veteran community here in Atlanta.".

A Press Conference Was Happening Nearby When Watts Set Himself on Fire.

Watts' horrific actions got quick attention from the media because a press conference was already happening nearby when he set himself on fire.

The sound of the explosion could be heard during a news conference that was being held about Georgia's new hands-free law, Fox 5 reported.

This is a developing story.

Want Results? Finish What You Start - Duration: 1:21.

Did you know that I was a  software developer at the age of 13?

No actually at the age of 10.

I had a home computer, a Commodore 64

that I got when I was 10 years old

I started software developing on it.

And the big change came at one moment

When I built one computer game and I finished it.

Those last 1% were finished.

and then I sold it to a company in Germany who distributed it across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

All over the place, at the age of 13.

I'm proud to say that I was a commercial software developer in my teenage years.

And it didn't stop there.

This is how early on kids or teenagers can become business people

can become productive, can create something.

but the key is, finishing it.

Everyone has ideas,

Everyone can start stuff.

It's about finishing it. It's about putting that extra energy to make that last move,

to finish that thing that is annoying

that you hate, that you procrastinated about for days.

It's about finishing, finishing that product.

This is what you want.
