Waching daily Dec 2 2018

- What's up?

Tim Sykes, millionaire mentor and trader here

with a very special interview

with my top student Tim Grittani

who has turned 15,000 now into over seven million dollars.

It wasn't easy.

It didn't happen overnight.

Learn from his journey.

(dramatic music)

- Working with Tim is very entertaining I think

is the best way I could describe it.

That's a guy with a lot of personality.

And early on, as a silver subscriber

and even once I became a challenge subscriber

there wasn't a ton of when I'd want access to him

but when he would do the webinars or things like that

you could ask your questions

and you could run whatever you wanted by him.

And they were always very entertaining webinars

because there are a lot of questions that come in,

that are things he's answered a thousand times already.

And if you're asking a bad question

he's gonna let you know about it.

He will hold you very accountable.

If you're breaking a rule and you tell him

"Oh, I broke this rule."

He will hold you accountable.

And he does it with the dramatic flair that,

it can be yelling at you a little bit

but it doesn't really feel mean.

You understand he has your best interest at heart

and he's just going really over the top to make a point.

And it helps it stick a bit in my opinion.

I think the webinars were one of the things

that I really enjoyed getting access to

when I went from being a silver subscriber

to a challenge student.

I made that switch when I was up about 100K

in profits already.

And the main reasoning behind it

was just that I wanted more content.

I wanted the opportunity to learn more

and webinars were the main thing

that I felt like I was missing.

There was a lot of stuff

that I thought could be covered in there

that could help me advance even further as a trader.

And I'm glad I did because honestly

one of the things that I've had to deal with

over my career from 2011 'til now

is changing patterns and changing strategies.

The biggest one being pretty much

the death of the OTC market as I like to put it.

Where back then I was buying promotions,

I was buying OTC breakouts,

and then SEC stepped in and started halting a lot of stuff.

And a lot of money stopped flowing into the OTC market

and a lot of that opportunity dried up.

And because I had taken it upon myself

to try to learn additional things,

I was more prepared for that.

I didn't suddenly have no place anymore

and say, "Oh my gosh, how am I gonna make money?"

You have to constantly adapt.

You have to constantly move forward.

Adapt or perish is the saying.

And it's something that I've really taken to heart

where even if I have five or six strategies

that work really well for me, I'm never satisfied.

I'm always looking for some new trick

to add to my,

to my tool bag I guess.

I don't know what I'm trying to say really there.

But the point is,

you've constantly gotta be working

towards advancing yourself going forward.

- What's up?

Tim Sykes, millionaire mentor and trader here

with an amazing video

with one of my newest six figure students.

He just graduated college, already made over $100,000.

Pretty amazing.

He is wise beyond his net worth.

He's on the verge of doing some great things.

Check this out.

- So me and Tim go way back actually.

The first time I met him,

I believe was in 2016.

He did a Inner Circle event in Los Angeles

and there was 10 or 12 of us

that were trading in an office room in Los Angeles.

And at the end of the Inner Circle event

there was a USC football game

and Tim Sykes had a box that was on the field

and he invited all the trading challenge students

that were at this Inner Circle event

to come out and watch the game.

And he also invited our significant others.

So me and my girlfriend at the time went to the box

and that's where I first was able to have

a normal conversation with Tim

when he's not in front of his laptop or on his phone.

And when he's actually enjoying himself

and not being the workaholic that he is.

And so that was the first time I met him.

And that was just a year into my trading journey.

The second time I met him

was about a year later

and I had just started growing out this beard that I have.

And I forget the exact word

but I think he called me a goat herder.

He said I looked like a Amish goat herder.

With this really long beard,

I had a really big,

like a Michael Goode type beard.

And that's a personality trait

that I really liked about him.

That he did have

this sarcastic and he had the ability to have humor

and make the room laugh

and he had charisma.

So I didn't take insult

'cause I thought it was quite funny.

From then on I just, I felt comfortable around Tim.

And I was asking good questions

and through this whole process

I really got to know Tim and his team.

And so that was my second year

and then by the third year

it all turned around

when I came into the market Inner Circle event

and I was the one making the most money there

and it was really cool.

Tim definitely recognized me at this point

and we've had these interactions

and it was cool to see the progress.

And be where we're at three years later

where he's congratulating me for building the consistency

and learning the rules and learning his set-ups

to an extent where it's changed my life completely.

Just this last summer we were in Italy,

trading live in Rome at a villa

and eating lots of pastries together and hanging out

and I'm happy to say

that I've built this friendship with Tim Sykes.

Not only Tim Sykes

but also the community that surrounds him.

Roland and Grittani and Mark Croock.

They're all great guys

and I feel so fortunate

to have met this community of traders.

MOTIVATION: Find Your WHY (2019) - Duration: 6:02.

the one commodity that is most valuable on this earth is time time to love time

to live from the moment the human body is born

it begins dying I don't think you quite cut that let me say it again from the

moment the human body is born it begins dying some happen faster some

happens slower some of us help them have to go faster

and some of them prevent it from happening then later how many seconds

how many minutes do we waste every day doing things that are nowhere near the

goals and aspirations and passions that we have inside how many times you go

through the course of a day and realize did I do anything I set out to do today

write down those goals each and every day no matter there's two goals a day if

you can accomplish those then you're doing more than just making it through

the day you are living and achieving your dreams find time to better yourself

read explore research live life do things you've never thought of doing

before that's what it's all about when you're born that's their date that they

put on the left side of the tombstone when you die they put another date on

the right side of the tombstone but that - in the middle is the most important

thing on that tombstone that is a line that throughout that entire timeframe

you were able to impact and touch other's lives you were able to leave

your mark on this earth you were able to build a legacy that nobody could change

you were able to have it to where people remember who you are no matter what

well you're living for that - in the middle you're gonna remember your why

your why why are you here not not - why I wanted to do something your why your

your reason for getting up in the morning your reason for pushing yourself

past the brink of exertion and giving up your reason for moving on and getting

things done in life that - in the middle that's the thing that pushes you how do

you rate yourself on a scale of one to ten in terms of your physical appearance

in terms of your health do you take care of yourself are you allowing yourself to

get overweight and out of shape are you conscious of your health are you

watching the food that you take into your body do you make a deliberate

effort to exercise you know it was George Burns he said we cannot help

getting older but we don't have to get old and many of us get old before our

time because we don't take time to take care of ourselves

your environment is a very good indicator on a scale of one to two it is

it what you want it to be do you find it desirable are you satisfied the job a

career that you're involved in someone said that 85% of the American public

unhappy with their jobs are you spending eight hours that they just doing time

doing something that you don't find challenging that does not make you

stretch mentally that does not stimulate you that does not inspire you something

that you don't find a sense of fulfillment in it if you're doing that

day in and day out it has to affect how you feel about yourself your level of

motivation your relationships

what kind of impact is that having on your life is it nourishing or is that a

toxic relationship does it drain you or does it build you up ask yourself that

how motivated are you to do something about it your contribution your actions

what are you giving many people will leave the universe without a trace no

one will know they were here and in fact under their name we could put under

they're not used up will anybody know that you came this way what contribution

are you giving what will you leave what will be different because you came this

way just this stop for a second write down your why what what are you doing

this for in life if your why doesn't make you cry that's not your wife again

if your why doesn't make you cry then that's not your why your why should be

something so big that it moves your family tree your why should be something

so big that it changes the whole outlook on how things are with you and your home

your family your religion your purpose

think about your passion think about your opportunities and

that's how you found your purpose OPP when that why meets up with your passion

your opportunity of your purpose then you'll find out the most important day

in your life is the day you remember why you were born

Small Business 101: Episode 48 - Business Advice You Should Ignore - Duration: 4:36.

Alex: Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of Small Business 101 here on

Arbeit U. Spencer: Yes and we have a great episode today. Are you thinking about starting

your own business? These are the questions you need to ask according to

Emily. Alex: Yeah, you ask these three questions and you're on your way to

Spencer: You're on your way to starting your own business. Alex: All you gotta do. What problem

are you solving? Spencer: Boom! Alex: Quick. Write it down Spencer: Yeah write that done. Don't let that go by.

Alex: What do you believe in? Spencer: Great question as well. Alex: Write it down. And third how are we

different? Spencer: Yes and if you can answer all those three you're probably a

millionaire already. Alex: Wow. Spencer: Yeah, alright. This was fun. See you guys later.

Listen obviously, poor Emily on the other side, just like I feel like an idiot but

obviously we're joking, right? Alex: Yeah I hate these yeah blog post when I read

them. They're just so boilerplate and stale. Like there's so much, there's so

many variations of this. I've never once when, we opened Arbeit, sat down and

answered these questions. I'm not saying the concept like... Spencer: Yeah, I mean it's

great solve problems and if you can solve a major problem you're gonna

be rich. Alex: The problem is that... Spencer: Not all businesses solve problems.

Alex: No, a lot of these like influencers on social media today

post this content and they're like oh, just do this and boom, you're a

millionaire and that's just not how it works. Like you can't just answer these

three questions and now oh you're gonna if you can answer these you're gonna

have Spencer: Bank gonna say 1 million bucks. Alex: Like the answer to every

one of these questions will probably change. It's changed for me and maybe

that means I'm doing something wrong but the answer to every one of these

questions has changed drastically for me. Spencer: What was the problem you were solving

when you first started? Alex: None, we didn't have a problem to solve. Spencer: What to do with my

life was the problem he was solving. Alex: No, we just were like oh hey people like

this let's do it. So I guess maybe we didn't really think thoroughly

through all what's the problem in the industry we just kind of had a

solution already and people loved it so we went from there. Spencer: I mean but you did it

as a way to save money on your dialer. Like you guys were using a dialer and it

was expensive and Alonzo was like hey. Alex: Alonzo's cheap so he wanted to save money.

Spencer: So the problem you're solving is we're paying too much on a dialer. Alex: Well I guess.

Yeah, but I don't know if it was a problem

across all collection agencies probably. I don't think most collection agencies are

too concerned about ah I need to cut costs on my dialer. What most

collection agencies probably want is just better production and a better product

and more stable product and stuff like that but at the time we just yeah and we

inherently made that I guess out of us having Alonzo being cheap. Spencer: Which is

not a bad thing. Alex: Yeah, the point is those answers change all the time. The problem

at the beginning you think your problem that you're solving could be people want

a cheap product and then as you grow and grow as a company and you realize that's

only one very small percentage of

the people that we're dealing with that want that. Spencer: You don't want to deal with cheap people.

Alex: Ninety percent of the people in the collection industry don't want a cheap

product they want something that just works because you know

with something yeah that's... Spencer: So I mean even now the problem you're

solving now is completely different. Alex: Right and then what do you

believe in I mean that's just a weird question but Spencer: I believe I can fly. Alex: I guess that matters a

little bit but... Spencer: That's a completely ridiculous question. Well, I guess it matters a little bit.

Alex: I don't know like what do you believe in. What does that mean? Spencer: Yeah, I mean

you know it's it's a buzz filled question like you know. Alex: I mean you could talk

of like core things like how you wanna treat you know people that you work

with. Spencer: Oh, yeah. Customers. Alex: That I guess doesn't change and it

shouldn't but it could very easily change for companies and there's been

times where it could have changed for us but we you know we kept on it and not

saying that was the right or wrong thing but I could see a business easily

changing and then how are we different? Again that changes constantly because

your competitors are constantly changing. I mean you might be

different today and then in two weeks they'll release something that's

identical to what you have and now you're not different anymore.

Spencer: So the moral of the story right is don't buy this crap, right? Like

don't believe that there's three questions you need to answer to start

your own business. Alex: Yeah, there's way more into it. Spencer: Yeah but it's more in depth. It's

constantly evolving. Alex: I mean maybe it helps to write this stuff out but in

general, yeah it's constantly evolving. Don't think oh I got to answer these

3 questions and now the rest of the time i'm business, I

gonna stick with what these are you can always change and you need to really.

That's it. Spencer: Mic Drop. Alex: Thanks for watching. Spencer: See you next week. Alex: See ya.
