Tribute to Justin Jean Anderson 1936 - 2017 - Worker, Fighter, Man - Duration: 4:24.In loving memory of Justin Jean Anderson 1936 - 2017.
You said, "If you've heard this one before Put a finger in the air so I'll know
Back in the 70s, when I was on patrol I responded to a call in the snow…"
We know
You said, "Let's feed the cows and move the pipes
The earth provides and the future is bright
We plant tomatoes, corn and beans
And everything will be enough if we do the work right"
It isn't the smell of popcorn or leather Or seeing your tractor, no matter the weather
You worker, you fighter, you man
It isn't Christmas Eves that you plan perfectly
Or the times playing cards with the whole family
You worker, you fighter, you man
You taught us with example and love Always thinking of your father above
You said, "I'm praying for you," we always knew you do
And we're praying for you too
It isn't the hugs, the train around the tree Dessert in the kitchen, food channel on TV
You worker, you fighter, you man
Sunday afternoon is our favorite time and place
Seeing Patches on your lap, a smile on your face
You worker, you fighter, you man
You are a worrier, because you care so much
Even halfway round the world, we could still feel your love
It isn't because you lived life perfectly Or that you cut watermelon professionally
You worker, you fighter, you man
It's the intangible gifts that you gave us all
You said, "They'll be no empty chairs at our table"
You worker, you fighter, you man
You worker, you fighter, you man
We love you husband
We love you friend
We love dad
We love you grandpa And always will.
I love you grandpa and miss you everyday

10 Signs You Will Become Rich In Life (Animated Video) - Duration: 8:30.10 Signs You Will Become Rich In Life
Every one of us aspires to become rich but whether we possess what it takes to become
rich or not is what we do not know.
Becoming rich has nothing to do with how much money you earn but how well you manage your
money.
Ever wondered why even when some people win a lottery or something around that, they somehow
manage to slander and lavish it all, leaving them with nothing in a short period of time,
back to zero level.
It's simple!
They do not know how to manage their finance effectively.
In this video, we'll be sharing with you 10 signs that show you will become rich in
life.
If you're new here, consider subscribing so that you won't miss other interesting
videos like this.
1.
You have clear goals
If you know exactly what you want and how you want your life to turn out, you are one
step closer to making wealth and becoming rich.
Setting goals is a way of intentionally choosing what you want to do with your life, not waiting
to receive whatever life throws at you.
Studies show that when it comes to success, the most important benchmark is creating clear
goals for yourself by writing out these goals and committing yourself to stay accountable
to your goals.
Thomas C. Corley, author of "Change Your Habits, Change Your Life" says, "most self-made millionaires
plan to get rich and then make it happen, Corley's research finds that eighty per cent
of the wealthy are "obsessed with pursuing goals," both daily and long-term."
2.
You are willing to take calculated risks
Unlike the middle class, millionaires know how to take risks.
It is not because they are fearless but because they overcome fear with knowledge by educating
themselves before taking risks, and also considering the consequences of failing.
Millionaires know that to get rich, one should be able to invest money for long-term.
And this is often their motivation when taking calculated (not reckless) risk.
3.
You save to invest
Savings must be your priority if you want wealth.
According to self-made millionaire Grant Cardone "Investing money is how you will get super
rich,".
"The only reason to save money is to one day invest money."
You also need to realize that the amount of money you save is often times more important
than the amount you earn.
Most millionaires invest 20 per cent of their household income each year.
Their wealth isn't measured by the amount they make each year, but by how they've saved
and invested over time.
Although saving up and following a specific budget might get hard sometime and you might
feel like giving up, but if you push yourself and keep at it, then your wealth is inevitable.
Experts also suggest that it is best to start with a fund for tough days because it is only
when it becomes significant, you can divert the savings to smaller funds.
4.
You are persistent
"Most of us are good 'starters' but poor 'finishers' of everything we begin, Napoleon Hill, author
of "Think and grow rich," says.
"
The majority of people "are prone to give up at the first signs of defeat," Hill says,
"but not the rich, who don't stop until they get what they want."
It takes both time and patience to gather money, and there will always be circumstances
that will require throwing your savings habit to the gutter (either for pleasure sake or
not).
But when choosing to be consistent and staying committed to it will help you become rich.
5.
You are not scared of making mistakes
Mistakes are a part of your learning and growing process.
Napoleon Hill says, "If the first plan which you adopt does not work successfully, replace
it with a new plan; if this new plan fails to work, replace it in turn with still another,
and so on until you find a plan which does work."
The good thing about making mistakes is that you can determine what you did right and what
you didn't.
It will help you to make better choices, help you discover your strength and your weaknesses.
6.
You don't take the easy way out
The only time you are actually ever growing in life is when you are uncomfortable which
comes as a result of taking the hard way out and stepping out of your comfort zone.
Multi-millionaires know that choosing to play safe never gets anyone to their financial
destination.
Hence, they always choose the hard way out.
For instance, choosing to diversify your income isn't an easy task for anyone to do when you
can choose to focus on just one income stream, but if it getting rich requires you to do
that, why not?
7.
You are always opened to constructive criticism
The person with a 'closed' mind on any subject seldom gets ahead.
Rich and successful people constantly seek feedbacks and have learned to accept constructive
criticism as a tool for improvement.
They constantly seek ways to improve, both personally and professionally.
8.
You have multiple streams of income
Most self-made multi-millionaires do not rely on one source of income, they diversify.
"Sixty-five per cent had at least three streams of income that they created prior to making
their first million dollars," Corley says.
Creating multiple streams of income is not easy but it's possible if you're willing
to invest some time into your financial education.
Study entrepreneurship.
Read books about investing.
Study how people use the internet to create business and make money.
If you're curious enough, you'll discover how to create multiple streams of income.
9.
You are focused on building your net worth, not working income
Poor people think that the only way to get rich is to earn a lot of money, forgetting
Parkinson's law that states that "expenses will only rise in direct proportion to income."
Rich people, however, focus on building a net worth that will further create more wealth
in the future.
After all, the measure of wealth is net worth, not working income or paycheck.
10.
You do not give up
In life, there will always be rough roads and challenges at different points in time.
It is usually tempting to throw everything you've worked for out the window and probably
pick a new interest to work.
However, if everyone dumps a project every time they get tired of it, the world will
probably be in a mess.
To become rich, you have to constantly be in the habit of not giving up, persist and
watch things turn around for you.
In summary, getting rich isn't easy and that's why only few people ever get rich.
If you truly desire to get rich, you must stop making excuses, take responsibility,
stay determined and be willing to pay whatever price.

What £400 Will Get You In London | Sweet Digs | Refinery29 - Duration: 6:41.Hi guys, I'm Pip and welcome to my Sweet Digs.
If you haven't already subscribe below, and come on in.
I live in a maisonette in a 60s tower block
in Hoxton, which is in East London.
I live here with my boyfriend Dan.
He's actually from the area, and he owns the flat.
So, I pay 400 pounds towards the mortgage,
which is a bargain for an area and a flat like this.
So, over here we have my living room.
It houses quite a lot of my plants,
which you can see I've got a lot of them.
I got most of them from Columbia Road Flower Market
which is just across the road.
The flower market makes Hoxton unique.
On Sunday it's so buzzy.
It's like people from all parts of the world here,
and like really London flower traders,
and they shout all kinds of funny stuff.
I have a lot of mid-century furniture, it's one thing that I really love,
but we try to mix it in with like industrial pieces.
This piece of furniture is actually
probably the only piece of furniture that my boyfriend
had in this flat.
And I saw this and I thought,
"Okay, you know, he's quite cool."
"He has at least he has a piece of mid-century furniture."
Inside it, it like, houses all of the DVDs
and the TV stuff that's so ugly,
and you can just put it away and hide it.
This is the main focal point of our living room.
It's a book case that we actually built out of scaffolding planks.
And it houses all of my little pots and plants and trinkets.
We have this awesome balcony.
And look we've got Canary Wharf over there,
the Olympic stadium, the whole of East London.
It's just perfect on a day like today.
We have the kitchen over here with the big breakfast bar.
It's quite small but it's open plan which is nice.
We can all hang out in one big space.
There's a lot of good prep area
to do the cooking, and like lay everything out.
And obviously we do all the cooking over there on the stove.
I said stove that's so American, why did I say that?
[laughs]
I just cook whatever I fancy, whatever they have in the organic shop.
The thing is, is that we like to do it together.
Or I like to control what's happening, and Dan will help me.
*click clock*
We live in a flat that is across two floors, which I think is quite cool.
I think it's probably quite typical of a 60s like building.
So, follow me upstairs and I'll give you a little tour of up there.
Our bedroom.
It's yet to be decorated, it's actually my next task is to do this room.
Dan has given me the theme of Miami Vice.
So, millennial pinks, velvet headboard,
very boudoiry, lots of plants,
and we're gonna do a naughty gallery wall.
We have a great piece by the Notes To Strangers.
We've got one that's like,
"You can be a feminist but enjoy a spanking,"
which is quite fun.
One of my favorite things in this room is the record player.
it doesn't work,
and I think it's gonna cost a lot of money to get it fixed,
but it really goes with the mid-century like
teak vibe that I've got downstairs in the flat.
These are mine and Dan's childhood toys.
Ben Bunny and Foxy.
They have now become best friends.
He's my little thing that makes me feel safe at all times.
And over this side.
We have our office.
I can work from home here.
Dan makes jungle music, so this is all of his equipment.
This piece is something that I bought Dan for his birthday.
This is a jungle song.
I have no knowledge of jungle so, I don't know.
But he loves it and it makes him really happy, and yeah.
I love orange, it's the happiest color.
It just makes you feel so good.
Orange shirts, orange bags,
I love this orange cushion.
We bought this couch specifically because it was orange.
We have a toilet,
and then this is the bathroom.
So, they're separated.
The bathroom is actually the only room in the house that
I really don't like.
It's really small, there's no bath, there's no natural light.
Eventually we'll probably do it up and knock the wall through,
but right now there's nothing going on
so let's not spend any more time in here
and let's go and check out one of the other rooms.
We've got our walk-in wardrobe.
The most expensive thing that we have in the house is the wardrobe.
I have everything hung on velvet hangers.
because you get more clothes in that way.
But it does manage to house everything.
On this side we have Dan's trainer collection.
He has 200 pairs.
He loves them, he wears a different pair every day.
I take all the photos for his Instagram.
His trainer collection definitely dictated
how the room was gonna be designed.
So, we decided to go for a Ikea bookcase
so that everything could be stacked and quite neat.
I've actually put Dan on a one-in-one-out basis on the shoes.
Whether he will stick to that we will find out.
It's kinda the same with me and clothes.
I collect dagger collar shirts,
so they're a specific shirt from the 1970s
and they have really big pointed collars.
I don't even look at the design the color the size,
I look specifically at the collar
and then I'll see if it fits me.
I have this one.
I think this one has a like Gucci vibe to it.
I think this is the biggest collar I have.
This is actually a smaller one.
I got a green one.
Yeah.
I've lived in this flat for about a year.
Me and my partner have been together for a year and a half,
and quite quickly after we got together I moved in.
Hoxton's great, there is an overground train very close.
There's lots of really cool cafe's and coffee shops.
People are really nice and friendly, and there's lots of cool shops.
We're right close to Shoreditch, so
lots of bars and stuff for a night out.
Hoxton is like one of those places where there's
people that have lived here forever,
like my boyfriend Dan,
or there's people from all over the world.
It's just great.
I think it's really important
to have a place where you can come and kinda
switch off from your day job,
but I'm always so busy so it's really nice to come here
and chill out and relax
at the end of the day, and just switch off from all of that.
Thank you for watching my Sweet Digs,
if you wanna watch other cool videos like this
you wanna just hit the box right here,

Thanks, neighbors! The one time I have good weather, motivation, and time, you just - choose to - buzzsaw something!
When I grow up, I'm gonna live away from all the rest of civilization.
Maybe I'll be an outlaw.
My parents will be so proud.
Okay, you better be done.

Maybe this should be my video.

This is payback for the neighbors. Now I'm screaming - making loud noises - for them.
And now the neighbors are being NICE and threw back an old tennis ball,
so now I feel guilty about all the things I said about them!
Man, these guys are such-!
Sorry.
That was beautiful.
Should I be high-pitched like this? I really don't know how I should sound.

At lunch, we'll all stab him with a fork.
This is how I originally wanted it to end, but I figured it was too violent for YouTube.
Of course, now it's actually ON YouTube, so, uh, that worked out well.
That was majestic.

Liverpool have a 'lovely problem' ahead of Arsenal clash - Sky Sports pundit - Duration: 2:22.That is the opinion of Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson. The Reds were six points clear of second-placed Tottenham heading into this weekend's action
**PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 - FREE TO PLAY HERE** Three defeats in four for Manchester City mean the reigning champions have slipped down to third
City's draw at Leicester on Boxing Day led to Liverpool leapfrogging them as the favourites for the title with the bookies
Thompson still thinks City will push his former side all the way for the rest of the campaign
But ahead of Saturday's visit of Arsenal, he admitted Liverpool are the team to be shot at at the moment
"I think you've got to take that," Thompson said. "You look at the games, I don't think anybody could have seen what has happened with Manchester City
"You could see Liverpool winning their games but not what has happened with Manchester City, so you're going to have to accept that [Liverpool are favourites]
"That's a lovely problem to have that you're there to be shot at, everybody's talking about them
"So I think we rightly deserve to be favourites. "You can't be six points ahead of the second placed side and sort of say 'we're not favourites'
"I still believe Manchester City will be so close it will be untrue. "But yeah you've got to accept they're title favourites
" James Milner will miss the Arsenal clash with a hamstring problem. Joe Gomez and Joel Matip also remain on the sidelines
Shkodran Mustafi returns to the Arsenal side after a hamstring injury.
