Waching daily Dec 23 2018

Hi my name is Szymon Staszkiewicz. I'm a 19-year-old motocross racer from Poland

I would like to introduce myself a little bit for you, make some kind of an

overview of myself. I started riding dirt bikes in 2007 it all started on a 65cc bike

In 2009 I managed to be a Polish champion in a 65 class. Later on I moved

to the 85cc bike where I started to race a little bit more international

races. Especially in 2012 when I raced in ADAC Junior Cup on the 85 cc bike and

Dutch Masters of Motocross where I finished 8th in ADAC and 6th in Dutch

Masters of Motocross. In 2013 I made a switch to the 125cc bike and in that

season I was second in the Polish championship so it was a satisfying

season, especially because it was my rookie year, so I was happy about it.

In the end of the season I injured my foot pretty badly. I broke three bones in 11

places, so I had to take whole season break for 2014. When I finally got back on the bike

I went for winter training to Spain where I hurt my back, so the

whole rehab had to come back and had the second season in a row spent on the rehab,

I couldn't write the dirt bike. In the year 2016 I was finally able to compete in

the European Championship races. I had some solid runs in here next 125 class

especially in Latvia, Lombardia and Belgium

as I finished there in top 10. During that season I had some downs too, as I had some

bike issues, so I was not able to finish some races in the EMX. In the result I

finished the whole season on on 11th place. I think it's a good result, I mean I was

satisfied with it. It was some kind of my dream to race in the EMX. It means a

lot to me because on every round there were like 60 riders who wanted to

qualify and race in the main but only 40 had chance do it. In September I raced

in Motocross of Nations event. I was proud to represent Team Poland especially

because I was one of the youngest guys competing there against top world class

racers it was an honor to ride there. In 2017 I moved up to the 250 class. I focused

mostly on ADAC Youngster Cup. As you may know it's one of the most competitive

series in Europe. That year I had a solid season except that I had some

health problems in the end of the season. I was not able to ride as good as I

wanted but anyway I managed to finish the season in Youngster Cup on 11th

place. I think it was not too bad for the rookie year. In November there was

organized supercross event in Gdańsk. It was actually the European Supercross. I

came there without any expectations because I didn't know what to expect

honestly. I had no training on supercross, my suspension was not set up for it,

I had normal motocross suspension so you can imagine how hard it was to ride it

but anyway after qualifying I could see that I can fight for a podium so I just

gave my best and I managed to be 3rd overall in the championship, what

I'm really, really proud of. I had a second chance to represent my country on

the MXON race... It was a successful season at all I can say.

This year I made the switch to a 250 two-stroke machine. I just wanted to see

actually how it is on a "big bike". After my first ride on it I liked it pretty much,

I enjoyed riding, so I decided to race the whole season

on the two-stroke. I had a strong beginning of the season, as I managed

to be 2nd on the Polish Cup in MX Open class. Unfortunately on the first

round of the polish championship I managed to ride just one heat.

I finished 3rd there and in the second heat I had a huge crash. I broke my hand, so I

had to take a rest for almost two months. I came back to racing for the third

round of the Polish Championship without any preparation, I mean since the injury I

didn't ride a dirtbike, so I just wanted to try myself. I finished 3rd there in

MX2 class. It was a satisfying comeback. On the round 4 of the Polish

Championship I I took the win, my shape was constantly

improving, what I was happy about. In September on the Motocross of European

Nations event I raced for Team Poland what was proud of. The qualifying was going

good for me, I was 4th in EMX 250 class. It was all going good, but unfortunately

in the first heat I twisted my ankle due to landing on my foot, so I had to

take a 2 weeks break. When I got on the bike I went immediately on a supercross

training just to prepare myself for the upcoming supercross season as I wanted

to ride in European Championship of Supercross and ADAC SX Cup,

that was the plan. One day after a supercross training

session I decided to go on the Yamaha test day to Sobieńczyce, what is 100km

from me. I had an accident there. That crash cost me pretty much as

I had some pretty serious inner damages such as burst liver...

...spleen and kidney. At the moment I cannot ride a dirtbike yet. It's hard to say

actually when I'm gonna be back. I'm happy to say that this week I started to

do some lighter exercises such as indoor cycling and swimming, so I'm gonna do anything

what's possible to be back in a shape quicker and be ready for the upcoming season.

Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoyed the vlog. Let me know

what you think about it, what kind of vlogs would you like to see in the

future when I'm gonna be back on the bike.

Santa's Workshop or Santa's Sweatshop? - Duration: 5:58.

every year more than 2 billion people celebrate Christmas with consumerism in

the air people laugh and sing along to songs about snowmen and reindeer but

most importantly Santa Claus and though most know him as jolly old Saint Nick

who brings joy to countless people he in fact hides a dark secret in plain sight

that secret is forced Elven labor Depictions of elves typically show them

as Jovially singing about working for Christmas

we are Santa's Elves

building Santa's shelves

With a toy for each girl and boy

oh we are Santa's elves

however they're likely singing

a different song in reality

With the sting of the whip on my shoulders

With the salt of my sweat on my brow

Help us now...Deliver Us!

oftentimes only compensated with candy or the promised joy of young children

each year Elves are forced to work in unbearably cold conditions while

striving to meet unrealistic production quotas from their overlord with

estimates based on 16 hour work days six days of vacation solely at the end of

the year an SLA of 4 toys per hour and a minimum yearly quota of over 2

billion toys approximately 88,000 elves must create over five and a half million

toys everyday furthermore these toys must all be handcrafted despite their

likelihood of frostbite and loss of feeling in the extremities today they

are reduced to the cold shadows living as mere sweatshop workers dreaming of

the day they can be free to have enough resources to abandon their cruel fates

yet as long as parents turn a blind eye to this cruel setup for the sake of free

presents for their children these once jolly Souls will continue to face a

bleak future all right guys so the jury is still out in regards to whether

forced elven labor is an issue that we should all jump behind however something

we all can get behind is doing something about the slavery and sweatshop labor

that's still occurring today in 2018 what are you talking about cliff I'm

glad you asked remember that movie Blood Diamond with

Leonardo DiCaprio well 65% of the diamonds in the world

that are being harvested right now are still coming from war-torn countries or

from other countries where they don't have work regulations and children are

working to mine these diamonds Another area is in the clothing industry

so if you like H&M or Victoria's Secret or some other companies as well

you know they're still getting clothes from sweatshops where people are working

long hours not getting compensated fully and receiving living wages for

what they're doing and these are causing horrible repercussions including loose

regulation to abuse of things like child labor laws of, of hours worked that's just

one industry another industry is the technology industry so Apple tablets iPhones

computers Kindles from Amazon things like that are being manufactured in

sweatshops in China and manufacturing companies like Foxconn wear our iPhones

and tablets and Amazon Kindles are all being built

In fact Foxconn has been so bad

that they've had so many attempted suicides in the past they installed nets

around the facility to prevent people from dying after they jump out the

windows And mind you I'm not just pointing fingers I'm

shooting this on an iPhone right now so I'm just as guilty as the rest of us but

we're about to end 2018 and go into 2019 I think we have to work

together to hold ourselves accountable and hold our companies that we value

accountable a lot of companies are trying to adjust but what I'm challenging

you as well as myself to do is going into this new year I want us to be more

cognizant of what we buy and how these things were made so whether it's you

start up just doing some research and being knowledgeable about some major

items that you're purchasing or reaching out to your companies that you're

purchasing from and seeing how they're holding themselves accountable and

making sure that the products that they're making is being made honestly or

even investing in watch dog groups that are working to lobby against companies that

aren't doing their due diligence to make sure that products are made safely or

the work environments for people who are making our products are safe

so there's a lot for us to do to help you get started I'm gonna share some

links below in the description that I have some information on companies that

are being watched for having done bad in terms of of creating a safe work

environment for their employees overseas in the past as well as some links to

some safe companies where if you want to change who you're buying products from

so it's gonna be a journey I know you're not gonna change your your wardrobe or

change which labels that you're loyal to overnight but I want to challenge you to

just be thinking and be conscious of it if we want to make it in this world

we have to look to be there for each other and the first

step to that is being conscious of the effects of what we do because every

dollar you spend is potentially someone else in a worse situation so don't be

the person that's just gonna turn a blind eye to a negative situation but

look for ways where you can make a difference to change the way that some

people's lives are right now

Don't You Disgrace Saiyan Cells! Vegeta's Fierce Battle Commences!! [Japanese] - Duration: 2:52.

Vegeta, which one are you gonna take?

Hmph! The one that looks just like you, of course.

You really do seem sure of yourself, huh?

If I can show up the real you,

there's no way I can lose to a counterfeit one!

Take this!

Why, you... How did you raise your power so much in such a short time?

I guess they don't call you a warrior race for nothing.

He's being overpowered by Vegeta?!

You're gonna have to take me on!

You don't tell a god what to do, mortal!

--Hmph. --He's immortal, all right.

Shall I tell you where you miscalculated?

Miscalculated?

It's that body of yours!

Every nook and cranny of those cells...

...were built up by Kakarrot over a long career of intensive battles!

For you, it's just a borrowed vessel!

Only a true numbskull like him

could use Saiyan cells within it

at their fullest!

How can there be this much of a power gap between us?

Would you like to know?

It's because you're a fake.

And I'm the Saiyan prince,

Vegeta-sama! That's why!

Hello Stranger: Ovation | Performance Video - Duration: 4:00.

We've buried the past if my memory serves right

Our light dispossessed, but this too must collide

Ovation

Ovation, civilization

The clearer I see you the farther you seem

Illuminations through her cracked mobile screen

Ovation

Ovation, civilization

Ooo, there's no fire burning

But somebody called me away

Ooo, there're no righteous among us

But nobody called them away

Nobody called them away

Nobody called them away

They want you to touch it to know that you can't

We're raised by the future with no promised land

Ovation

Ovation, civilization

Humanity's children stalk through the dark aisles

And any judge above us would have called a mistrial

Ovation

Ovation, civilization

Ooo, there's no fire burning

But somebody called me away

Ooo, there're no righteous among us

But nobody called them away

Nobody called them away

Nobody called them away

Ooo, there's no fire burning

But somebody called me away

Ooo, there're no righteous among us

But nobody called them away

Nobody called them away

Nobody called them away
