what's more important than achieving goals stay tuned hey this is Damon Cart

from NLP Gym bringing you cutting-edge tools and mental technology to help you

master your life so if that sounds good please click subscribe to this youtube

channel so you can get these videos on a regular basis how often do you actually

take the time to craft a vision for your life I actually don't know too many

people who do that I know a lot of people who dream who are dreamers and

they take the time to dream and I know people who set goals a lot and so you

might be thinking what's the difference what's the difference between dreaming

and vision and setting goals and having a vision there is a very distinct

difference between them but they all play in together so they're important so

dreaming is just letting you your mind go to a place where nothing is

off-limits where there's no such thing as impossible so you allow in all the

possibilities of your life what you can do what you're capable of what might

happen and this is a wonderful thing to do it's a wonderful exercise because it

gets your creativity going it gets your imagination going and it probably brings

in a lot of information that you would not think of otherwise so it gets you

outside of limitation so this is a great exercise to do and it's probably a good

place to start when creating a vision goal-setting is when you have a very

specific target you want to move move towards and accomplish and so you need

to be specific and you need to be detailed about what it is you want to

accomplish and also have a good strategy and know how to judge or see the results

that let you know that you're getting closer and closer to your goal the

Dreaming is anything goes but realistically we know that you can't do

everything at once you can't pursue 100 things at a time

it's just not possible so you have

start sort of narrowing these things down and that can be very difficult for

people and I'll talk a little bit more about that later how do you narrow this

down so a vision is actually more realistic but it's not as detailed as a

goal because you don't really know what's going to happen in the future and

a goal itself achieving a goal itself isn't necessarily that satisfying a lot

of times we think that it will be and when it happens it the satisfaction

oftentimes is very fleeting and that's how you know you don't really have a

vision if the achievement of a goal is fleeting satisfaction good chance you

didn't have a vision attached to that goal the other problem that people have

when it comes to setting goals is they run out of motivation on the way to the

goal and if you're running out of motivation before you achieve your goal

again this is a good indication that you don't have a larger vision attached to

it so a vision is a lot more vague because you don't know what's going to

happen in the future and for sure you things have happened in

your life you could call them blessings great things have happened in your life

that you couldn't have seen happening but you're glad that they did I never

thought I would be I have an online business I never thought I would be an

NLP teacher and never thought I would be a coach or a personal development and

self-improvement teacher but following a vision of what I wanted for my life

which was based on my values I wanted that financial freedom I wanted to be my

own boss I wanted to do something that I could be passionate about I wanted to do

something that I would enjoy doing something I could share with other

people now that's more of a vision and as long as I went in that direction

it kind of didn't matter or kind of doesn't matter how it shows up and so

this was a problem that I used to have is that I didn't know the difference

between setting a goal and having a vision I thought that they were the same

thing so my goals were very detailed and people will say you know you got to get

very clear very specific very detailed about what it is you want and so I did

that and what often happen is the values would show up in my

life but I couldn't appreciate them because they didn't look like the goals

that I had set so it's sort of like I got the gift but because I didn't

recognize the packaging I didn't accept it I didn't enjoy it I still thought to

myself well they didn't achieve my goal and therefore I couldn't enjoy it even

though I was living it I was living what I wanted to live I was living my vision

when creating a vision be willing to let go of how it has to happen or how it has

to be so when I was right out of film school moved to Los Angeles and I

thought well this is how I'm going to live my life and be successful I'm going

to be a filmmaker and a screenwriter and all the things that I all the values

that I was chasing I'm currently experiencing now and I

feel very successful in that way but I'm not a filmmaker and it did so it didn't

show up like I thought it was going to show up so when you're creating a vision

really what you're creating is a direction and it's the direction that

you want to live it's the direction that brings you to a more and more fulfilling

life it's not oh once I get there I will be fulfilled and satisfied no it's

starting now being fulfilled and satisfied but the things that you do

maybe you don't have a lot of time to spend on the things that fulfill you and

satisfy you maybe you work a full-time job or you go to school full-time and

work a full-time job I did that before too and so you're not able to spend lots

of time on what fulfills you and what satisfies you but that's why you want to

have a vision and the vision is basically you take what does fulfill you

and satisfy you and start finding ways to do more of that start finding ways to

move more in that direction so find ways to make money doing that

find ways to satisfy other areas of your life that are necessary that move you

toward and closer and closer to your vision the goals goals are there to

serve your vision so you can start out by setting a goal you know maybe that's

the inspiration that's the spark you I want to go do this thing I want to I

want to run a marathon or something like that and then you go to that goal and

say okay what is important about achieving this goal to me what does this

achieving this goal do for me and keep asking that question and go deeper and

deeper with that question and then look at all the answers that you come up with

you'll start getting these really deep answers that have to do with happiness

and joy and passion and creativity and all these wonderful things that you feel

very fulfilled and satisfied when you're in alignment with them and so once you

do that go back to the goal and ask yourself and be very honest with

yourself does that goal serve those answers does

that goal really serve the vision so the vision would be if you combined all of

those answers and you come up with which have to do with happiness and joy and

passion and freedom if you were to put that all together in a vision and

remember you can keep it vague because you don't really know what the future

holds so when you create a vision out of that you go back to the goal and you ask

yourself what does this goal really serve that does this goal really get me

there and if it doesn't then you change the goal and find a goal that will get

you to that vision and when you have a goal that serves your vision you're

never gonna run out of motivation you're never gonna be crushed by failure

because you know the vision that you're after you feel it inside of you already

you just want more and more of it and he wanted then you want to go deeper and

deeper with with what fulfills you and what satisfies you so you don't run out

of motivation because you're already feeling it on the way to your goal

you're getting closer and closer and so this is extremely motivating and when

you do achieve the goal it's not going to be fleeting but success and a good

feeling is not going to be fleeting because really what the goal is telling

you is when you achieve it is you've just gotten even closer to your vision

you've just gone even deeper and you know it's not over you know that there's

more to do and there always will be for as long as you're alive you will always

be moving toward that vision not chasing the vision as if you're not connected to

it as if you're not feeling it that's another mistake that we make we

things out in front of us and we try to incentivize ourselves to make sacrifices

and do things that we don't like to do in order to get to that place that's not

the way to do it have a vision that you feel inside of you that you're connected

to that you naturally gravitate to and you should be enjoying this along the

way and the vision is always out there that's why we call it vision you're

seeing the possibilities of what you can do and become in your life and the other

reason why you want your vision to be big is because you want it to be general

and keeping in general will allow you to be adaptable and flexible like I said

there's a lot of things that you think right now that if you were to achieve

them that they would absolutely fulfill you and satisfy you and the truth is

they might not so if you have a generalized vision if you have a vague

vision you will get there and you will probably be surprised and you will

You Asked - Ken Answers #11 - I Get Discouraged When I Sing - Do You Have Any Tips - Duration: 8:27.

Hey, guys! Welcome back again to Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy, where the PROOF is

in the SINGING! I'm doing a whole series on You Asked -

Ken Answers, and I'm here at this awesome place, YouTube Studios. They've invited us

to come down every month and, you know, utilize the studios to do some awesome

Q&A. Or also videos, and you're gonna see some of that with some

of my students. Tori Matthieu, Sara Loera, Miki Black. You know, we've got a whole

slew of people that are gonna come in and do some fun videos for you. So... but

I have a series called You Asked - Ken Answers, so I'm going through people from

all over the world, asking questions about singing. So I'm gonna continue

doing that. The next singer or person, her name is Kelly from the UK she says "I get

discouraged when I try to sing. Do you have any tips?" Yeah. That's a tough one, huh?

I can't tell you how discouraged I got when I was trying to learn to sing. In

fact, I can't tell you how many times I wanted to quit! I kid you not! You'd think

"Wait a minute!" You're like, you know, Ninja Sensei Ken Tamplin! No, really! There was

many times I wanted to quit! And here's the reason why:

I would try and I'd work on my voice, and I didn't seem to get any better, and it

seemed like no matter how hard I tried, I didn't get any better. And there were,

maybe, little moments where I could sing a little bit of, you know, some Robert

Plant, or Paul Rogers, or Lou Gramm, or some of my favorite singers, but it

didn't last long, there was no longevity to it,and I couldn't, there was

not much stamina, or even power, necessarily. All of it was really throaty,

and I just sang, and felt like I was just choking off my throat when I sang, and if I tried

to sing high notes I couldn't sustain them. And so I started to learn

about the voice and so I began a journey on studying the voice over the years. And

what happened was, little by little I started unlocking the mysteries of

singing. And it wasn't easy. And like I've said before, I've taken from a lot of

vocal coaches over the years, and I've studied the voice a lot, and what one guy

would say something... vocal coach would say something, another vocal coach would

say something contradictory. Who do you believe, you know?

And all I could do is beat it up. Night after night, day after day, and try and

true, and see what worked and what didn't work. So I actually have a singing course.

It's called How To Sing Better Than Anyone Else, and I cover this journey, you

know, 35, 40 years of singing. I cover this whole journey on all the components

that it took for me to understand how to trust information and how to do this. And

I got less and less discouraged, the more I saw my progress. Now let's talk about

that for a second, cuz a lot of people think "Wow! I should just, you know, be

Hercules and just keep going great, great, great!" I've said this before, I'll say it

again. Singing or learning how to sing is like a good stock in the stock market.

You kind of go up a little bit, and then you kind of come down, and you're "Oh, no! Did I lose

everything I made over here," and but then it goes up again a little bit more, and

over the course of six months, eight months, ten months, a year, you look at the

stock, and the stock has like, the stock grew! I grew! You might not even, at the

year level go "Gosh did I really grow that much?" but then you look

back and see how much you did grow you're like wow! Okay so if I keep doing

this, and I understand I get good information, will I continue to get

better exponentially like this, and the answer is Absolutely YES! Absolutely YES!

I can say that. I can put my hand up and say You will get better like this. But

you have to have quality information, you have to have consistency, even when you

don't feel like singing, or even when you're kind of bummed out, you got to

keep chippin' away at it. Chippin' away at it. Chippin' away at it.

I know this to be true, because I said this a billion times. I'll say it a

billion and one. As a guitar player... oh my gosh. I hope he doesn't kill me for

saying this. I'm gonna mention his name. His name's Lani Cordola. I used to go

over to my guitar teacher's house and I was, my lesson was on Saturdays, right? In

the morning, early. 9 o'clock, and he had a trailer park that he lived in, and not a

bad one. Like that sounds trashy, but like in a nice area: Santa Fe Springs

California, and he would always have played a show the night before and

sometimes like have to kick out the girls, and you know, and I mean not just

one, maybe two. Really weird. Sorry. It's tacky to say that, but the truth...

just to get my guitar lesson, right? Anyway, so I'd be learning, you

know, licks from this guy. And he was a phenomenal guitar player. And I would

just like, be so frustrated, because I'd try so hard and I couldn't get it. This is

guitar now, not singing. Guitar. Singing is even more temperamental. And I

would, you know, go in and get this lick. And this is way before YouTube, when you

could just sit there and watch the guy over and over again. You know I would

just go in, watch him once, make a tape of it, go home practice. Just like my

vocal workouts. I'd go to a coach. I didn't get the benefit of, like all of

this crazy great technology where you could see me doing it. I show you exactly

how to do it. I show you how my students do it, on and on and on. This is

way back in the day. So, but anyway, but I did see progress... little by little and

you know, I just kept doing it with repetition and doing it the right way

making sure my technique was good, and over time I became a really good guitar

player. I think I'm as a good of a guitar player as I am a singer, so for those

those you out there that don't know that, guitar was my first instrument, and then

singing came second to me. So anyway please try not to get discouraged...

excuse me. It's okay to get discouraged, but don't let that

overshadow your ambition and your desire and passion to be a good, strong singer

because if you do, you're gonna give up on everything in life, and everything's

gonna mow you over. Just steamroll you, right over. You've got to keep up.

Someone knocks you down, get back up again!

What's that Pat Benatar, you know, knock me down, it's all in vain, I get back up

on my feet again. Get back up on your feet and do it again, and do it again, and

after a while, (true story) you're gonna look around at your peers

that you thought were better than you... in fact here's a funny story for you about

that. I love how this always kind of reminds me of Slumdog Millionaire, for

those even have never seen it, where it reminds you of something that's happened

in your life. My student Sara Loera, who's awesome, who was a

bartender, and she wanted to become a singer. She was already a singer, singing

in punk bands and stuff, at whatever. Now I'm not belittling what she did before. I

just... talking about her own passion and her own strengths and success and you

know, desire to keep moving forward. I remember there was a specific

singer I don't want to mention names, but it was a girl at a well-known place that

Sara works at now, and she venerated this girl. Like "Oh she's so awesome! She's

so awesome!" She would do this with teachers and stuff, too.

And so I said "She's a little better than you but... or maybe she's not even better than you,

you might come as peers on the same plane" and she got "Oh, my

gosh! You;re kidding me!" I said no, seriously, I'm not kidding you, like I'm not, this isn't a pep talk.

It's not like "We can do it" you know, if no, it's like, seriously, like, and so

little by little, as she chipped away at it, she just like blew doors on this gal.

And now Sara can just sing effortlessly for hours and hours on end, whatever she

wants to sing, in the tonal qualities she wants to sing it in. But Sara put in the

time. Sarah did the work. Sarah took the technology. Sara did the Course.

Sara just really went out there on you know, she just went on ten, and she

just went for it. Well, it's sort of like life. Anything that we want to do

to be great at life, we're gonna get discouraged, but to give up means that we

forfeit our dreams and we forfeit the things that are gonna make us happy, and

whatever. So I just encourage you: Hold the line. Do the homework. Get out

there and bust some butt. If you want to get my course, it'll really help you. If

not, I have tons of free tutorials on YouTube, but get out there and do the work, and

I promise dividends will pay in the end, like a good stock. All right! Thank you

for joining me. Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy, where the PROOF is in the SINGING!

WHAT MAKES IT SO SPECIAL?! | Watercolor Painting-Book Kit | Painting Italy - Duration: 22:40.

so what this is - I was on Etsy and they were having a Black Friday sale and I saw this

well basically it was a coloring book and it was like $60 and it looked really

really interesting so I want to show you and hopefully it's as cool as it looked

and we'll find out what makes it special I bought it from someone in Ukraine so

it took a month and a half to get here - oh! -the anticipation

Oh its in a Cute box! well presented look at that! - ew that's bothering me - ever

notice when you get something on Etsy it's just so much better than when you

get it from Amazon - I don't know where to put this box...

watercolour trip inside? are we going on an adventure?

ah nuts... I ripped it - so this is the

Insparea (inspiration area) watercolor kit oh it's a kit? well that explains

the price doesn't it? - *opens box* I'm missing one!!

I was about to say "Oh cute" but I

realized: - oh...oh...that wasn't dramatic

boom!

I'm missing the RU raw umber

oh there it is I found him, here we go all's well! call off the search! - so here

is the little palette as you can see it's got little drops of watercolor up

on the top of a very thick piece of card stock I think that's the word so the

colors that came with the set is violet, lemon yellow, raw umber, burnt umber, olive

green, Viridian, yellow ochre, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, madder lake deep

ultramarine, and indigo - and the cool thing is *zooms out* bloop! - these were all put

together to be used specifically with this coloring book or as they call it

a painting book -

OH! PURPLE!?!

ahhhh! merry Christmas to me, okay! oh there's little blending

cards I believe - what there's more? I didn't read the description very well

did I? - making me look bad *hehe -OKay, these others extra palate in here if

you've run out of that one obviously - cute! it's the same colors very cool and

I believe this is kind of like a paint by number thing but it also allows you

to experiment but I haven't looked at the coloring book yet this is the

coloring book we're gonna look at that in a minute let's see what else is in

here okay so I see a paint brush this is a DaVinci I believe a squirrel imitation

so no 'squirrel-lies' were harmed in the making of this paint brush, it's a number

six round and then there's also there's way more in here than I expected a

number two round which I believe is also the exact same brush, look at that

fancy I love round brushes they're my favorite - alright and then it has some

swatch cards, watercolor paper, alright and lastly, that's kind of funny - this is some

masking fluid - cool and then what's this? is this wax?

I believe this is wax so it's like a giant big chubby clear crayon so if you draw

with that the watercolor won't stick I think, oh this is the most dainty maggots I've

ever seen in my life - this is so cute okay now the coloring book, the coloring book! all

right so this is the main attraction we have the painting book as they call it I

got the one in English, obviously - there was options, and it's made out of watercolor

paper and the cool thing is - oh! here's the author's - the cool thing is it actually

kind of teaches you how to use watercolors so there's some techniques

I'll have to read those and then there's like an area to test it out and practice

so it's like having a little teacher again it shows you a technique and it

gives you space to try it and then here's what I wanted to show you this

is what I'm so excited about so on the left side of the spread we have

instructions as well as the original reference photo of like this window then

they give you a step-by-step instructions on how to do it yourself

and then give you two sketches to fill in and practice your technique so you

get two shots at it, isn't that really really cool? and all these photos are

from Italy this is a photo actually from 2016

that's not that old - but they give you one test try and then like your final

try that you can't cut out and you know hang on your

refrigerator - so you can paint this window of the Riva del garda in three

steps step 1 step 2 step 3 but each step has about four steps so that's interesting

maybe I have just been over complicating things...? - and in the tutorial it actually

tells you the exact colors to use and different little tips and tricks so I'm

very excited to try this out and to support a small business and artist so

this is really really cool and I hope you're getting a kick out of this as much as I have

I'm so excited to try this look at all these they aren't people which I would

usually draw but I thought this would be so cool to like teach me how to

watercolor - oooh, the texture is so cool and the cover page is really thick and each of

the papers is really really thick - can you hear the thickness?

* flips through thick pages*

I'm impressed

I'll have to try this out anyway I couldn't wait to open this and share it

with you next I'm going to use it but I literally just woke up and I haven't had

breakfast yet and my tummy is a 'gurglin' I'll be back

when I have time for this which hopefully be later today maybe we can do

like a cool transition - ready?! *deep breath*

Hey and we're back let's finally use this thing though

right oh and something I forgot to mention is this coloring book was about $60

after the Black Friday sale - all right let's put our palette over here

somewhere- here we go "advices from the masters" I don't know if we will need these, or these - let's paint Italy shall we

I'm gonna single-handedly paint all of Italy

I didn't know notice at the bottom here

Andrej is ranked among the top 20 watercolor artists in the world

way to go, buddy! nice!

what is that? this guy right here

nice

alright so we should probably go through all the practices alright the first lesson is a

flat wash

*whisper* probably need some water don't ?I

alright next it says "into wet" 'a went into wet wash painting on a wet surface for

colors to blend easier' okay so what you do is you get your clean your paint

brush then you take a wet paint brush and then

you grab your color and you just 'bloop'

so the term 'lift' means to lift your

painting by removing paint from a surface with a dry brush to correct

mistakes - we're gonna do a flat wash (look I'm learning these terms) well

there goes well that's kind of cool I didn't know you had to use a dry brush

for that but I can see it making more mistakes than the ones it's fixing

♪ Swatch and practice montage! ♪

I'll need three of these

do something like dis?

♪ art-ing intently

oohhh! look at that! It's magic!

♪ crayons +watercolor = omg ♪

cool I've used masking fluid before but it was like a lot harder to get off this

leg just rubbed right off I like it all right so we finished a little study that

they provided so the point of that is to kind of understand what they're gonna

tell you to do in like the tutorial section and for most of them I think I

got it - 'blur' I didn't really I'm not sure entirely sure I did that right but I

assume it just means to blur whatever its gonna tell you to blur so I think

I'll get it when it's in like the context of a tutorial uh I wasn't very

good at lifting and then 'partly' I didn't really understand but I think that's

gonna mean that when it tells you to color in like a certain shape it's gonna

say colored in just 'partly' which it'll have a picture to go with that and I

think it's gonna make sense

hoping

let's move on to the next page

let me get this to stay open - and now we can work on this window finally so we can always look

back at the reference photo but let's follow the first step - let's learn to

watercolor shall we? - alright so step one is add a wash of yellow ochre to the wall

I can do this all right now we add a flat wash - whew! that is a gorgeous color

need to come right up to the edge - now what I think we're trying to do is get an even

color so you'll see there it's lighter in there it's darker so I'm gonna try a

little harder to get the same color so you can't let it dry while there's still

a lot of paint thing you gotta smudge it around is what I'm learning here because

once it dries it's a little harder to mix it together you see when I put it

down it's darker and bolder and then you got like smudge it around and get an

even coat that's the best I could do on a first attempt - it's definitely patchy but

I'm going to assume that the more you do that the better that's gonna look and I

also notice that they put a much lighter wash that I did so we're probably gonna

have to take advantage of this little second attempt anyway next is add a wash

to the window frame which we're going to mix: crimson red and the burnt umber so

we're gonna color in this inside section with them that oh I think I got the

right color here not too dark next it wants me to add the flower pot

leaves which we're going to mix 'olive green'' with the 'burnt umber' again and

then mix those together let's try it out just add some like speckles it's

definitely not the same color I use the right green? "olive green" there's looks much

darker --- alright now next up is to wait for this all to dry alright now that

that's dry, moving on to step two which is add a wash to the windows of the

colors YG and YO but I don't see a YG, I see YO... we'll come back to that

one but it says with a lot of water we're gonna wash the stone frame using

RU - which is raw umber and it says a lot of water so I

guess I'll put that on this pallet hmm okay it says with three water droplets

color in the stone frame,

Tada! I think that was my best so far that's a little dark

in this corner, pull that out - nice I think that's my most even washed too! nice! okay next

step flowerpot using CR and VB which is crimson red and the burnt umber again

add the wash stains on the wall using burnt umber and with raw umber - this one, I'm

gonna mix those together alright then we're gonna add the Shh-textures - Oh with

a lot of water so let's add some more water to that and then add in these

puppies some over here I'm also trying to look at this reference and see if I

see why they're picking up certain places but for this they're just

adding texture to the the background which isn't in the reference photo so this is

just for creative purposes I guess and since I painted in the background so

darkly it you know it's kind of hard to even see them and then it says "add

stains on the stone frame using raw umber and burnt umber"... do this?

that doesn't look like the same color at all? - alright I need to go back to do the

windows which it said to mix YG and YO - yeah if you look at the palette it

says you're going to use YG plus YO, we have a YO which is the yellow

ochre we don't have a YG we have this one that has a lowercase G it shows an

uppercase Y and a lowercase G what if it means indigo? I'm gonna have to just go

with indigo and hope for the best, but it says mix indigo hopefully with yellow ochre

lets see what that looks like - I guess it's pretty close

still not the same color that they have on theirs let's add more water for that

see if we can get a lighter color

it's gonna add a little more indigo on top

like-a-so - the next thing it wants us to do is add a wash of shadows from the flower

and the stone frame - yellow ochre and raw umber it doesn't say how much of each to

mix but does show add a decent amount of water so yes we're gonna add a decent

amount of water that's a nice shadow color isn't it? *hehe*

shadow, underneath here - all right

and then the shadows on the frame are using burnt umber and violet- we are

shading here whooaaa that is a pretty color of course it is, it's got purple in it

just add some crazy texture like it shows in theirs so it looks like they

used maybe this color I've messed up the next step was to shade up here which was

teased a different color and that was ultramarine and yellow ochre - my bad - so

gonna have to wait on that to dry and then we can do that part but the next

step is add a core shadow on the flowerpot - I see yellow ochre is very

popular in this drawing and then we're adding a shadow do this flower pot so

now we can add shadows to the window and for this we're going to use indigo and

Viridian yeah I think I was right I think it was a typo and it was indigo that

we were supposed to use

look that went pretty well it looks good I also shade the leaves with indigo and

olive green - mix that with indigo

we can add some shadows

to this -

not sure if that's right that looks a little weird

I think this shadow here oh that's where this goes Oh I was wrong

my bad obviously our light sources over there

casting quite a bit of shadow

that looks way better now doesn't it? that

made a definite improvement and this looks really good on the monitor because

he's teeny-tiny, up close it looks a little you know 'blobby' but I'm actually

really happy with it I think it turned out really cool I'm just gonna go and

add anything I feel like it needs yeah just because you know I do like that

painterly effect that it has we're still waiting on --- oh we have to color

the flowers we have to wait for that to dry and then we can color the flowers, I

definitely am learning like how to make shadow stay in the color scheme this is

really really cool aside from like the typos which i think are probably coming

from translation errors maybe I don't know well give them a little bit benefit

of the doubt but this did cost pretty penny

so I mean even though it costs a lot it's not perfect - I noticed almost everything

was mixed with yellow ochre I assume that's how you kind of stay in the color

scheme which is nifty, I'm learning something - another thing I'm noticing in the

reference photo here they used a much more texture paper than what I'm using

so that's not like showing through or they drew that way smaller that could also

be yeah well look here you can actually ask the artists for advice online I

didn't even see that "send them an email or go to their website and ask

for advice" *hehe I should be like "okay hey what did I do

wrong?" I think I know what I did wrong I put too much paint in the background so

it's much more saturated and vibrant than what they did and I think that

would have made a significant difference because the contrast would be a lot

better so knowing that I kind of want to

*whistles *

try it again

♪ Watercolor sounds

♪Aggressive swatching

yeah I love that!

that's so cool so there we have it there's my two attempts - we should

probably take a look at the original reference photo, step by step

instructions, their final, and then my two finals - which one do you like better I

definitely made mistakes in both of them because I am a beginner - I'm such a noob

I think when I followed the instructions more closely or at least tried to I kind

of liked this one better except for I like the lighter wash on

the background with this one I think I did a much better job there's not those

tons of streaks like there is in this one I think in each of them I did

something better than the other so I guess I gotta keep practicing

I definitely look better teeny tiny and not up close there's certain areas the

picture that has better contrast and this one and there's certain areas of

this picture that has better contrast

wow this is really really fun and

there's still - look at them all! - there's still a bunch more in here that aren't just a

window *haha* I think my favorite part about this coloring book is that it tells you

what colors to mix together to get the certain colors there were some areas

where they didn't really look the same so I don't know if I mixed wrong

variations but I wish they had given a little bit more instructions as how much

of each color to mix but right now it just tells you what colors to mix and

you kind of have to just wing it and try to get the right color

but I found that really really helpful because what I do like about these

pictures is they both have something that my drawings don't usually have

which is they have a very cohesive color scheme and they look good you know

together even though they're using blues and reds

they don't look super saturated and crazy like they're well blended and I'm

learning a lot mixing these colors by following these instructions on how to

do that which is priceless to me and I really like that they can give you this

little tiny palette it's extra water colors if you run out of these to give

you these too um thingies which I assume you use and

other tutorials yeah looks like it the paper is alright like you see it it's

not like perfect paper it's definitely buckling underneath all

of the water that I'm using but it's good enough to like practice the

techniques I wonder if this palette washes off and so you can reuse it

because I filled the whole thing with just this window

*intense scrubbing*

sweet!

I think this would be a really cool present to someone who's just getting into

watercolor - what would be really cool is if they made one of these for like

portraiture I would be all over that

ohh!

but it's surprising how fun it is to just

paint in an Italian window though like look at that ah! so this kit isn't

perfect but I really really enjoyed it and I'm definitely going to use the rest

of it get my money's worth let me know if you'd like me to film

some more of these and see if I can improve as I go through the book it

could be a fun way to track my progress if you're interested

I'll have a link in

the description to Insparea's Etsy page if you want to check out what else they

have on their store - anyway, I hope you enjoyed comeing along with me to Italy

where we painted a window oh!

Can I make a video with you?

No you cannot make a video with me. Why? Because I'm doing a "what I got my

family for Christmas" video and if you do it with me then you will know all of

your presents. Shoo turkey!

Shoo, shoo, shoo turkey. Throw your feathers down yonder.

You are a goofball. Say bye to the folks. Adios. Adios muchachos. SUBSCRIBE!

Ya know it's gonna be one of those days recording when you get through a whole

video and realize that your mic has died. So we're gonna start this over again. hey

guys it's a Wendy Valencia. Today we are going to go over what I got from my

family for Christmas. Well not just me but Mauricio and I. And I'm going to talk

about what Melina and I gave Mauricio as well. And we've got presents for my

parents in here. So. It's all very exciting. First things first. I have to

talk quietly because Mauricio is sitting right across the way and I don't want

him to hear me. I got him this amazing 65 inch flat-screen TV for Christmas. And I

know you just sucked in a deep breath and went *inhales deeply* about the price so let me tell

ya. Sam's had a one-day sale at the beginning of November and it was amazing.

for some of the things you know you remember way back when when Black Friday

first started and they had amazing prices on like two items in the store

well this was one of them it was like a third it's normal price

so I went ahead we have been discussing getting a new one for a long time

because I'll tell you Marie CEO and I are getting old and our bedroom is huge

and so the distance between our eyeballs and the woman across the room is

probably a twenty-two twenty-three feet maybe even more and we can't see so we

think you're bigger we'd be able to see it well we're laying in bed I mean even

we've glasses on I can't see it so for my mother we got her electric wine

bottle opener and a wheel cutter and then for my father we got him a

floodlight video camera it's super cool we have it wired into a system

surveillance system here in the house and so we can see what's going on on all

sides of the house and which is fantastic and I will tell you I got this

at a huge bargain and I was super excited about that I went on eBay and

rather than just going to my standard Amazon or Walmart

I searched Ebates for the cheapest price and would you believe I found a place

that had this only one place I think it was the Home Shopping Network had it for

$50 less than everywhere else not even joking and then they had a coupon and

then I was able to get a beats with it so I think in the end it probably cost

me like one-hundred and ninety dollars and it was normally 250 so yeah I was

super excited about that let's get into this pile over here I have them divvied

up from mommy and daddy and from the Jolly fat man over here on Friday nights

in our house we like to do a family night and sometimes it's Saturday but

most of the time it's Friday and lately instead of watching like family movie

night we have been playing board games Molina loves them it allows her to get

up and jump around and scream and holler and have I got presidents attacking me

over here and it it really is it's more engaging more fun for Molina so we're

gonna keep doing a lot of that so we are giving her a ton of board games for

Christmas this year so and card games so the first one is oh no which is awesome

if you've ever played it and they'll love it then we're getting her Jenga

which is equally as awesome very cool I have never actually played Jenga but I

imagine it's gonna be a lot of fun we're a very competitive bunch here although I

think Mauricio and Molina will have a distinct advantage because part of my

dystonia involves shaky hands so I never win at games of not shaky hands like

operation as a kid I could never play he got her clue

I have no idea if it's a super fun game or not but clue is an awesome game so

clue jr. how could it be bad we got rummy cube have you ever played

it love this game I used to love it as a kid it's kind of like playin poker we

got kerplunk which should be easier for me to play than Ginga but it's similar

concept I guess he got Yahtzee which this was one of my favorite games

as a kid oh my goodness we used to play this all the time when I was kid we got

sorry which is also a great game so I saw this game when I was buying the

other games and I was like what is that but it had like a 5 start reading and

truthfully blackest also was that way and we love blackest I cannot recommend

that game enough so I highly recommend that game if you're looking for a game

to play with probably four people as best we play it with three and it works

out but it is so much fun and there's always yelling and laughing and giggling

and strategy and attack daddy and then as we all know

Melina's avalanche then we got her a daisy uniform for her American Girl doll

a brownie uniform for her American Girl doll and a Girl Scout uniform for her

American Girl doll so we have actually given these as gifts to a few of her

little friends that have American Girl dolls and are in her Girl Scout Troop

but they're so adorable and we gave her this from American Girl doll not even

joking it is a made to scale Xbox console with gaming chair headphones and

little games my daughter and her father are gamer dorks

I love them but yeah they are total total gamer dorks No

and so I think it's great they have such a good time bonding together so I

thought this was a great gift for her dad to give to her and to go along with

that remember the Nintendo switch that her father got for her well we have

gotten her Pikachu and we also got her minecraft

the minecraft hasn't gotten here yet and so I said Pikachu pokemon its a pokemon

game I don't know it's a game you play it on a little Nintendo switch which I

barely even know what that is so we got her a couple of those and so she will be

super excited to have new games to plan her switch right now she lives eats and

breathes Mario Kart and then we got her lol dolls

now why four because see Mia's fYI at least in our area CVS always has almost

always has two for one lol dolls and so I got two so $20 I got four lol dolls

which is a wonderful price cuz at Target they are even more than that and she

will love them I don't I don't know that I see the allure in these I guess

they're cute but the little puzzles are fun for them to open up so she can

forward those from us and then I will tell you this last thing is my favorite

thing to give her and it was a total random spur-of-the-moment purchase I was

at Michael's getting some decorations for my Christmas tree at work and I saw

this on the clearance shot and it was normally I think 65 bucks I got it for

24 it's a lab set so it comes with a microscope and all the chemicals to make

these things like it says make a cloud in a jar or make liquid glass I am super

excited about this she loves science and I am all about promoting her love of

science so I know this is coming from Santa so I'm not gonna go through all of

these we got her for Polly Pockets she has wanted these Polly Pockets since her

birthday since before her birthday but we got her presents early and so we went

ahead and did not give her the Polly Pockets but she's getting him for

Christmas she has been talking nonstop about these she loves them then Santa is

bringing it's called the twas the night before Christmas set so it comes with a

little book and a tray of cookies and a carrot

that reindeer and a cup of milk in a bathrobe for the doll so and then we got

her the American Girl doll game night set and that comes with some games and a

little tray and we got her tossed across which is like active tic-tac-toe and and

this is actually from a friend of mine it was her daughter's and she never used

it and it is a smart girls coder kit so she can program the app on her iPad and

it actually will drive the scooter around I think she's gonna love this she

loves gaming she loves she loves electronics so I think she is going to

love this I mean a lot a lot this is what Melina has been begging for since

her birthday party this is a actual remote-controlled vehicle that actually

drives and it will drive her dolls around until she drives it over the

stairs and they go crashing to their death she has been talking about this as

like the number one present that she wants and so I was happy to get this one

for her because originally it was $250 and it was on sale for 200 and then I

had another 25% discount so it was a hundred and fifty plus tax I was like

yeah I'll get that so that is her big present this year from Santa and that's

all I got for you so I'll see you in the next one see ya

Farming Simulator 19 Mobile - Android & IOS (REACTION) - Duration: 12:35.

right hello everybody welcome back to a brand new video is matt and in today's

video well I'm gonna be reacting to some of the really really obviously dodgy

Android and iOS videos so these are videos telling you apparently telling

you how to get farming simulator 19 for your phone all these obviously

completely fake well it'll probably give you a virus if you actually download it

so my tip is done and if you see one of these videos and watch it have a laugh

but don't download it if you if you don't want the virus see so before we do

get into the video though I just want to say um my sponsor DLgamer are having

they're having a massive sale right now on all games so I think battlefield

5 is $25 on there right now which is an absolute

bargain for PC and a massive range of PC games first such a lower price compared

to steam and other websites so if you do want to pick up a bargain be quick so

yeah be really quick head over there link in the description to get and link

in the description and and all purchases from that link will help stop support the

channel and your GRAB a bargain so yeah a win-win right yeah does sound ridiculous

it's such a dodgy link as well like it's just at the bottom harmful harmful and

file wait about nine years for this to complete this is Sochi already it's

gonna be easy downloading it on what I have no idea what this guys doing

quality music low you know I'm missing summer

alright download it all right but install her got thing about the video

was the music that yeah oh the game on is gone laughing the trailer just

actually play when you first download the game on like PC awesome

so maybe alright so I blah blah blah the trailer isn't gonna skip this all just

gonna leave us in yeah right we understand there's a trailer yeah right

alright so let's see I'm sorry but how how poorly made is that oh oh

to play the game you have to suddenly download twelve apps all your foods

download one up easy yeah so easy that isn't it like not like we've all done

something like this where we've like down was enough to get free free fifa

points on V boxes amok it's all a piece of rubbish spend 30 seconds on there

this never works by the way never works it never has it's all just come oh wow

it totally hasn't just over laced some controls on some gameplay oh oh great

game on his phone oh wow totally hasn't chewed up you can see the mouth on these

thing you know it's listing the mouse on the gameplay he's not widely pressing

the buttons and he's not moving anywhere I don't understand this is he's not

pressing the buttons to move he's just tapping things so as you just saw that

was the first video so now we're moving on to farming simulator 19 mobile FS 19

Android and iOS right click on that it's gonna give us

right the same sort of idea again on these foreign recording FS 19.4 be

okay pretty average to standing yeah you know yeah average

so he's downloading it open there and he's got the trailer like the other guy

hide so these all tend to be almost all the same these videos so a trailer yeah

blah blah blah phone line there before that's nineteen standard it's with FEMA

but just from different websites

yeah mobile verification same rubbish yes the download snap open it 30 seconds

yeah he's gonna open the middle one because that was the one that the guy

opened last time yeah

it's just the same video

oh let's download to this one

okay that's new you have to download to

open blah blah

bah-bah-bah opens it all standard stuff do you know what isn't standard deal

game check them out link in the description right so it's downloaded

then that must mean first sex by now it has to be a thirty second what you doing

that's 30 seconds so for some reason it's still alright there we go

so where's the trailer like we saw at the beginning plays all this again it's

rubbish farm light number four FS 19 yeah right so fancy starting effects

this time you can't always just Nick this front end from some PC gambler all

right so the plane the trailer again

Oh oh yeah that's good innit

he's not personal what was he doing he didn't press anything there and you can

see the mouse on the screen it bit hard to see from my room but just don't see a

room is done FS 19 what movie I'm okay because it's violence or Stanley alright

so I think we've got the gist of that so let's move on to the next video right so

the next one we have is families from u-ace 19 norbye on Android and iOS all

right open your internet browser FS so it's the same as last time

the first one we covered is there it meta mid to be honest this one alchemist

is different to the first one but it's my site oh it was FS 29 yeah oh it's a

little amazing oh yeah absolutely amazing it's a trilled and they'll see

not that's must have seen that trailer all these 200 times since it was

released yeah it's the exact same app it's the same video just reloading

it's annoying

so don't download two free apps and follow instructions given demos yeah

fair enough done was that one fair enough yeah blah blah blah what we've

seen before already don't care about I knew this so pretty much what we can see

is X the exact same thing reuploaded

right okay so there's knowledge point reactants that videos so I think I'm

gonna run this video here so I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and I

will be uploading shortly after Christmas I'm gonna take a little break

but hope everyone has a very nice week eats a lot of food and yeah subscribe if

you haven't already um like this video comment share with your friends so they

What To Do If Your Job Is Being Outsourced - Duration: 7:30.

In this video, I'm going to give you some practical advice on what to do if your job

is being outsourced.

So who am I?

I'm the guy that hires people in the Philippines.

I've got a 10...

I'm here in the Philippines now.

I've got 10 full-time employees that...

You know, they might have taken your job.

Instead of hiring you, I hired them and that hurts.

So what do you do?

Okay, I can feel your pain.

It's hard enough to get a job.

But when your job gets outsourced to another country like this to the Philippines, what

do you supposed to do?

One thing that I want to talk about that's going to come across potentially as offensive

and that you probably not going to want to hear.

And that's the conversation that having a job is not a right.

You don't have a right to have a job.

And I'm talking about my country, USA.

And most free countries.

We have a lot of rights.

we have a lot of things that we are blessed with.

But that's what I think a job is.

I think a job is a blessing or...

Let me frame it as it's an opportunity.

It's an opportunity that an employer provides to you in exchange for a service that they

received.

So they have a service that they provide.

They provide value.

Businesses are meant to create value.

And money is the currency we use to exchange value.

So if I have some value that I want to give and provide in a service, I can offer that

to someone and they can pay me money for it because there's an appropriate exchange of

value.

Hi there.

And so as a business owner, you know, I want to create value but I wanted...

So as a business owner, I want to create value and I want to do it in a way that's sustainable.

That can pay for itself, that can be profitable.

And to do that, I'm looking to boost my profit margins.

It's not greedy to want to boost my profit margins.

I can be greedy and boost my profit margins or I can be selfless and boost my profit margins.

Boosting my profit margins is a good thing.

You want your company to be profitable because the more profitable the company is, the more

stable and secure and happy.

A company...

If a company has the opportunity to hire somebody to do the job that you're doing and pay 1/10

of the cost, that means they can hire 10 people for the price of you.

It would be stupid to not do that.

I'm sorry but they're going to have to fire you or lay you off.

Okay, that...

It would be just crazy business decision.

What about loyalty to the ... To them?

To the company, to the service that they offer?

It's just...

It makes no sense to hire somebody and pay them 10 times the amount when they could outsource...

So I get distracted when people walk by.

So, job's change, position's change and evolve just like you know...

We used to have small town bookstores that would thrive and now we have things like amazon.

And so a lot of the book sores have closed down.

Or you know, we used to rent video tapes and DVD's and have blockbuster.

But you know, Netfilx came around.

And other places where we watch video.

We watch YouTube.

So those stores don't exist now.

Is that unfair?

It's not a question of being unfair on it.

It's just a thing of supply and demand.

And when you say that it's unfair to have my job outsourced, you're just saying that

supply and demand is unfair.

So my job, my career did not exist 10 years ago.

I created it.

I found an opportunity of getting some results for influencers and small businesses on YouTube.

And I created the service.

And here I am, a YouTube producer for 10 different YouTube channels.

I created it because there's an opportunity for me and freedom for me to create value

and exchange it for money.

I created it.

And that's the same exact opportunity that you have.

But when you're worried about your job being outsourced, you're looking at your right to

a job or your entitlement to a job relying on somebody else to have the opportunity to

create that job.

So somebody else needs to be the entrepreneur and create a job and then they're obligated

to give you this job that you're entitled to.

That doesn't really sounds fair to me.

So if I could have one wish and give you a gift, that gift would be to understand that

the right that you have is the right to be an entrepreneur.

To be an entrepreneur, you just need to find the need and fill it.

Right?

Find a problem and solve it.

Find something that's broken and fix it.

Because anytime you create value, money is the currency used to exchange value and so

you make a profit.

You'll be profitable by providing great value.

Okay, so I do have some practical tips on what to do when your job is outsourced.

Let me finish this first part simply by saying instead of focusing on woe is me.

I lost my job, how can I prevent losing this job?

And your entitlement to have a job, focus on what your really do have the right to.

And that's the right to.

And that's the right to be an entrepreneur and to create and to provide value.

Okay, so what practically can you do?

Well, let's get specifics.

If you're a video editor and you've been working for a company providing video editing services

and then your employer does what I do.

And starts to hire people in the Philippines.

By the way, we're here in the beautiful Philippines.

Just to...

Having some fun here.

I got to meet my team for the first time.

If your employer does what I've done over the last 9 years and hires video editors in

the Philippines, you're out of work, right?

Because they can hire somebody here for 1/10 of the cost of you.

Here's one option.

You could start a video editing agency and you could hire people here in the Philippines

and leverage that great opportunity and leverage that profit margin.

You could find a need then fill it, right?

You can become an entrepreneur and hire other video editors.

Or you could become a video editing consultant.

There's always a level above.

If you've been editing for a while, now you can consult and provide education to people

who might be hiring people.

Who might be hiring video editors in the Philippines or in other countries.

Or you could change careers.

Careers that existed 10 years ago, don't exist anymore.

And careers that we never even dreamed of 10 years ago, exist now today in our staples.

So commit to always learning and growing and adopting.

And you'll never be out of work.

You'll always have a way to provide value.

And when you provide value, you'll have an income.

Hopefully you found this video helpful.
