KENNETH: There's something about faith in God that will cause him

to walk by a million people just to get to you.

(Singing) I know my God has made the way for

me. I know my God has made the way for me.

ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the Believer's Voice of Victory.

Join Kenneth Copeland and the students of the new Kenneth

Copeland Bible College as they discover that what you believe

is what you will speak and eventually what you will do.

KENNETH: Hello everybody, I'm Kenneth Copeland.

This is the Believers Voice of Victory broadcast. Father, we

thank you today, we give you praise and honor. We open our

hearts. We open our minds for revelation from heaven and we

thank you and we give you praise and honor Lord Jesus, for all

that said and all that's done and we worship and praise you

father, in the mighty name of Jesus, praise the Lord. And

we're here in KCBC praise God if you're having a good time. Amen.

KCBC bulldogs, praise God. Bulldog faith. Hallelujah. Thank

you Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord. Yeah, it's amazing. Human beings

were created for faith, we're faith beings. That's the reason

that faith and fear are the same spiritual force. What you and I

know as fear, it's spiritual forces, spiritual forces are the

most powerful forces that exists, not mental, of course

not flesh, spirit. Love, hate, faith, fear, life, death,

blessing, cursing. You notice all of those are exact opposites

of one another. So fear is the most natural thing in the world.

The world is completely absorbed in it. The reason it's so easy,

is because it's taught from birth. Because your parents

taught you how to speak. I mean, whatever they shared, you said,

and you had no way of knowing one way or the other. You just

said what they said. Well, do you remember the sixth chapter

of Ephesians, be followers of God are imitators of God, the

way children imitate their parents. Amen, so but once you

get over into the field of faith and once the laws of faith are

so real to you, they become as real as fear, even more real,

but you have to hear what your heavenly father is teaching you

and how to speak like your big brother Jesus. Because when you

begin ... We have the mind of Christ, but our minds have to be

renewed to that mind. Now, as you think about that Word, we

have the mind of Christ translated. We have the mind of

the anointed one, all right? That literally means then, we

have the shame anointing available for our souls. Our

intellect, mind, will, emotions, intellectual part of ourselves,

we have the same anointing available that Jesus operated in

and with on his mind when he was in the earth. Boy, I'll tell you

what, if that don't set you on fire, your wood's wet brother.

Amen. But then it must by faith the mind, must be by faith

renewed so that you think like he thinks and you talk like he

talked, or speak like he spoke when he was here on the earth.

What happens? You get his results. Amen. I started to

mention this yesterday and I got sidetracked from it. I'm going

to say today, Word of faith is not a movement. The Apostle

Paul, we read it right there yesterday, and in the 10th

chapter of the book of Romans, the Word of faith, which we

preach now, it took on all the earmarks of a movement like what

would you say? The praise movement and the former reign

the latter reign and on all these different things. But

there's nowhere in the Bible it says, that is impossible to

please God without the former and the latter reign, faith.

Impossible to please him without it and is so easy to know. All

you got to do is look at the fourth chapter of the book of

Romans. Therefore, it is of faith so that it might be by

grace. No faith, no grace, no wonder is impossible to please

him without it. And faith worketh by love. No love, no

faith, no faith, no grace. So in that condition, you're not

trying to function in that condition. We've just blocked

God off and just cut him off from his ability to connect with

us with any kind of blessing at all. We cut him out. Amen. Well

not this bunch here. Praise God. No, no that bunch there. No, no,

no, no, no, no, no. This group and this BBOV in bunch of

fanatics. Excuse me. You know where the word fan comes from

the word fanatic? There are football fanatics and all kinds

of sports fanatic. I'm a Jesus fanatic, I am. I'm a Word of God

fanatic. I don't think about much of anything and I'm a

little more interested in football than it used to be

since Jonathan's playing his first year in college ball. But

anyway, I still- Oh my... Faith in God. Just something about it,

the man I heard many, many, many years ago. He said, there's

something about faith in God that will cause him to walk by a

million people just to get to you. Faith in God, amen, thank

you lord Jesus. All right. Number one, fundamental of

faith, believe it in your heart and say it with your mouth.

Number two, fundamental of faith is act on your faith.

Corresponding action to faith. Let's go to Mark chapter five. I

was going to go back to the 10th chapter of Romans, but the Lord

just changed my direction here. So let's look. You understand I

just work here, right? Yes sir. Fifth chapter of Mark, and

we will look beginning with the 25th verse at the woman that was

healed with the issue of blood. Now let me say this again. We

started out with this and on Monday that all of the miracles

in the Bible, all of them, these fundamentals can be found there.

Take for instance, what about David? He said it. He told the

king. He told King Saul, he said, "I killed a lion and I

killed a bear." And now listen to what he said, "That

uncircumcised Philistine." You see how he marked him? He didn't

call him a man. He's a man without a covenant. I hear faith

talking here, don't you? He said, "He's no different. That

lion and that bear." In other words, I couldn't kill the lion

and I couldn't kill the bear. Not myself, but I wasn't in

myself, hallelujah, I have faith in God. He's your covenant man.

So, and he just kept making these kinds of statements. Now,

when he came out against Goliath, Goliath, said it, the

devil said it. "I'm going to kill you." And he cursed him by

his gods. Famous last words. Go back and read it. David said, "I

am going to kill you. You come at me." Now listen to him, "I

come at you in the name of the Lord God of Israel." Hallelujah.

I'm going to take your head off your shoulders- Now, wait a

minute, he doesn't have anything but a sling and a rock, and he's

talking about taking his head off his shoulder. Amen. He

believed it in his heart and he kept saying it. He told his

brothers and all of them out there. Then he told the king and

then he told Goliath and then he did it. I remember when I saw

Hollywood's version of that and they had David doing all of

this. That's just pure bull. Forgive me, but I ain't got a

lot of time this morning. Amen. The Bible said he ran at him,

with a sling in his hand, brother. Oh, and I'm telling you

like a rifle bullet that rock went right in the only exposed

place on that guy's head. Of course, he had a huge target.

His head's big as a basketball and the guy's something like

9'7, whatever it was, and he hit him right there down he went and

then he cut his head off. So he believed it in his heart. He

said it with his mouth and backed it up with corresponding

action. Now, faith corresponding action is acting on what you

have believed and said. Acting as though it is absolutely true.

Putting action to it where if you believe in your heart, yeah,

whatsoever thing that you desire? When you pray, believe,

what? Believe it in your heart that you receive it, and then

you shall have it. You gotta believe you have it before you

can feel it or see it. The NIV translates it like this, Mark

11:24. Whatsoever thing you desire, when you pray, believe

you have received it and you shall have it. That's very

accurate. Praise God. Amen. Say Amen. Corresponding action, so

let's apply this now to this woman. A certain woman which had

an issue of blood 12 years had suffered many things of many

physicians, had spent all that she had was nothing bettered but

rather grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came in, the

press behind, touched his garment for she said, "If I may

touch but his clothes, I shall be whole." And straightway or

immediately the fountain of her blood dried up and then she felt

in her body she'd been healed. She physically felt something

happening inside of her. She physically felt it, but she

believed it long time before she felt it, that is so important.

Verse 30, Jesus immediately knowing in himself that virtue

or dunamis had gone out of him. Power had gone out of him,

turned him about in the press and said, "Who touched my

clothes?" And his disciples said unto him, "Thou seest the

multitude, thronging thee, and say us, thou, who touched me."

And he looked around about to see her that had done this

thing, but the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done

in her came and fell down before him and told him all the truth.

And he said unto her, "Daughter, thy faith has made thee whole.

Go in peace and be whole of that plague." Now Jesus on the move

towards Jairus's says house, Jairus faith put him on the move

because he made a statement. Once he made that statement, he

never said another thing. Even after they came and told him his

daughter had already dead. He never said anything. He said,

"You can put your hands on her and she'll live." That's all he

ever said until the girl was raised up. Now you want to see

Jesus using his faith. That girl is graveyard dead. Amen. He goes

in there and said she's asleep. She's not dead. Well, now

brother Copeland, you think he meant soul sleep? Why don't you

go wait in the car? No, he was not talking about any such thing

and that God he's calling things that be not as though they were.

Amen. Anyway, so notice, for she said, "If I may touch but his

clothes, I shall be whole." "Daughter, thy Faith has made

thee whole." That must've been her faith speaking. Amen. Now,

we mentioned this a couple of days ago. Whatever I'm saying,

whatever you are saying, whatever any human being in

their conscious right mind is saying, is their faith talking.

People say what they believe, I believe I'm catching cold. You

just told me. Why don't you believe? Amen and people say

things and say, "Well, brother Copeland you're just being too

picky. I really didn't mean that." Sweetheart, we're not

talking about your intentions, we're talking about spiritual

law here. Amen. You can't just mess around with physical laws

just because you didn't intend to blow yourself up, but you

still blew your hand off anyway doing something stupid that you

knew better than to do. That's like people saying, "Well, the

Lord took him." Well, now wait a minute. Did you ever notice that

when people obey the safety rules, he didn't take near as

many. He didn't take them in first place. In fact, that's a

religious term that for the most part is not true. And maybe

we're headed down the road, we'll get into some of those

that. I now know we will in time to come. So let's look what

happened here with her. Number one, of course, we know she said

it. Now, the Greek word lego is the Greek word used there, which

literally translated is saying, continuing to say for she said

and said and said and said and said, what's she doing? I like

Lego. That makes me think of the little building blocks, she's

building faith, building faith. She's schooling her faith with

the words of her mouth. Now she heard of Jesus. We know what she

heard. She heard the Word because faith came. Now let me

give you this. I know we have scriptural foundation for this

because we know from the scripture that Jesus preached

from Isaiah 61 one everywhere he went and it's explained right

there in the 10th chapter, the book of Acts when Peter Preached

at Cornelius's house and he said that Word, you know which was

preached throughout all Judea, how God anointed Jesus Christ of

Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power. It's recorded in the

fourth chapter of the book of Luke and he began to preach that

and it recorded it when he preached it at Nazareth and the

spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to

preach, glory to God. He's anointed me to preach, and he

listed down through the things that he's anointed to preach,

recovery of sight to the blind, to preach deliverance of the

captives, the acceptable year of the Lord, which was supernatural

debt cancellation. And he preached. Now listen very, very

carefully here. You don't find anywhere in Matthew, Mark, Luke

and John where the synagogue in Capernaum was ever hostile

against him. That was his hometown. He moved from

Nazareth, got run out in Nazareth and he moved from

Nazareth to Capernaum. Jairus was his rabbi. He was leader of

the synagogue. Amen, and when Jairus came and fell at his

feet, Jesus knew him. Anyway, what I'm saying to you is this,

and just a little side pitch, I just got 30 seconds to get this

out. I got to get you to take a quick. When Jesus, the guy came

to him and said, "My servant is dying." He said, "I'll come and

heal him." And they said, "You need to do this because he's

built us a synagogue that was in Capernaum." Jairus was

a leader of that synagogue. Praise God, Jeremy'll be

back just a moment. We're out of time.

ANNOUNCER: We hope you enjoyed today's teaching from Kenneth

Copeland Ministries. And remember Jesus is Lord.

Make A Girl Crazy For You (Do This TODAY!) - Duration: 7:19.

Gentlemen today we're giving you 10 tips that you can use to make a girl crazy for you.

Most guys find out that even when they're pretty good at talking to girls,

Getting girls to really like them, is another story.

Most of the time a major part of what's missing...

...Is a lack of a few key elements from your life.

A few missing ingredients that either leave a girl bored,

or uninterested.

But don't worry!

Because today we're showing how you can up the ante and get girls to fall head over

heels crazy for you.

And that's not all!

Because we want to be sure you make an impression that instantly gets a girl longing for more,

We're also telling you the one thing that makes guys look 100%, grade A, boring.

So sit tight.

Let's get into it.

10. Enjoy Her Unusual Traits

It's no secret…

Girls love compliments.

But you don't have to go over the top about it.

By constantly telling her how good she looks or how gorgeous her hair is...

Your words actually lose value.

Think about it, in the marketplace of compliments, Yours can become a dime a dozen if you're

not careful.

You want your compliment to hit her like a flirtation brick to the face...

And a compliment has a MUCH stronger effect when it is sincere, and more importantly,

unexpected.

Don't let her see it coming!

Instead of showering her with an incessant drizzle of compliments that she's heard

before, Hold off for a bit.

And unless you've got something good to say,

Hold off on complimenting her looks.

There's a time and place for that.

In other words, You must go deeper.

Stay away from surface level stuff.

Flatter her subtly through your discussion, and line of questioning.

Basically, Be smart and let her infer your compliments

without you saying them directly.

9. Calm Under Fire

Stress and irrational behavior are both ENORMOUS

turn offs for girls.

But being a cool customer, calm and collected in the face of turmoil...

...Is one of the easiest ways to make a girl go crazy for you.

Why?

Check it out.

When a girl is stressed, it's typical for people around her to match

her stress level.

But the reality is this: Even if it makes her feel a little more comfortable,

It doesn't actually help.

So when you come along, And offer a calming contrast to her situation,

she notices.

Oh, she notices.

She's actually going to hate it at first.

Almost guaranteed.

But she'll come around.

And as long as you weren't patronizing, faking it too hard, and most importantly:

You were able to genuinely empathize with her situation...

The next time she feels a little crazy, it'll be because she feels crazy for you.

8. Take Notes

Women like to know that they are the focal

point of your thoughts.

So things she's told you in passing, like her favorite band, or how she loves Capuchin

Monkeys, Are the types of things you NEED to lock in

your brain and never, ever forget.

Because you can surprise her later on down the line with a trip to the zoo,

Or tickets to see her favorite band.

And the fact that you remembered what she told you,

Will prove to her how thoughtful you are and how much you care about the things she says.

7. Be Game Tight

Murder... is bad.

I think we can all agree on that.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't dress to kill.

Girls don't expect a guy to be dressed to the nines every time he leaves the house.

But interest ... is incremental.

Meaning, It's most likely not going to be any one

thing that really pushes the needle and gets a girl running after you.

So dressing in something a little nicer than a t-shirt and gym shoes,

...paying a little attention to your aesthetic, is a tried and true method of checking off

the boxes in your favor...

And getting a girl to become slowly & hopelessly crazy for you.

6. K.I.T.

Take a quick second to answer the following question:

How complete is your daily to-do list?

Wait…

You mean you don't have one?

While we can't say for sure that skipping a to-do list is your entire problem,

a to-do list is a fantastic way to stay organized.

K.I.T: Keep It Together.

Girls like organized guys for one reason: They get stuff done.

Think about it.

Most guys are great at imagining results, without visualizing the process.

A to-do list keeps you in touch with the process, Which means you know how to get what you want.

And if that's not the secret sauce...

Then I don't know what is.

Hey if you like our stuff, keep watching!

Because we've got 5 more tips to make girls crazy for you

And the one thing that makes them simply crazy.

Let's keep going!

5. Find Your Edge

It's simple.

Girls just aren't attracted to what's boring.

They find boring men unattractive, so if nothing else,

Do what you can to prevent falling into a predictable and mundane routine.

Here's what we're getting at.

Every guy, no matter what, has something that gives them an edge.

The trouble is, it can be hard, if not impossible, to find sometimes.

But the good news, Is that it's not the edge that drives girls

crazy, it's the act of searching for it that does.

Girls want a guy who pursues his interests and does his own thing.

All things being equal, A girl doesn't want a guy who has laid down

and stopped trying.

So if you're wondering how to make a girl crazy for you,

make it clear that you're uncompromising about your goals and you go hard at becoming

better every day.

4. Reveal Your "Soft" Spots

Thousands of years of human evolution has

made the biggest and strongest men more desirable than the alternative.

However...

It's the 21st Century and girls don't need a guy to go out and kill a deer for dinner

tonight.

No, relationships these days are more about connection than survival.

And to connect with a girl, you'll have to open up and show her your soft spots.

Feed her little snippets of your personal life that you don't normally share with

people.

Remember, vulnerability is a strength.

And it's a major part of real attraction.

Looking for some other proven methods of getting a girl to look at you differently?

We've got you covered right here.

3. Learn You

This might be a bit of an underrated trait

but if you want to be taken seriously by women...

It's essential.

That's because in general, girls like a guy who can think and express his opinions.

By having a wealth of knowledge, you'll easily facilitate conversations on a wide

range of topics, without fear, And by this wealth of knowledge, and more

importantly, perspective, You're in a better position to solve problems.

So if you're looking to throw some fuel on the crazy fire,

Keep yourself learning as much as you can.

2. Improv

You might not know this, but a girl's level

of infatuation for you, ...is directly correlated to how much you

can make her laugh.

That's because according to one study, the more time a guy and girl spend laughing together,

The more likely they are to develop attraction toward each other.

It's science!

Feeling like you're not that funny?

Don't panic.

Because not only is the bar of hilarity lower than you might think,

You could even step up your game by jumping in an improv class.

It might sound crazy now, But focused improv will equip you with a particular

set of skills, That makes you irresistible to women.

1.Get a Side Hustle

If there's one thing successful guys know

better than most, It's that at the end of an 8 hour work day,

there's still work to be done.

Sure, your 9-5 job may have plenty of room to advance in the company,

But is it really what you want to do for the rest of your life?

Maybe not.

That's why having a side hustle is what will get you out of the daily grind and give

you goals to work towards.

So drive an Uber, or write dating advice for guys if that's your thing.

Whatever gets you closer to the freedom you want is worth doing,

And girls will see that too.

Thanks for sticking around.

Because now it's time for the #1 thing you can do,

That will make ANY girl turn around and walk out the door.

Everything we've talked about in this video comes down to this.

If you're the type of guy who doesn't like trying new things or pushing himself,

You might get some lukewarm interest, But there are virtually zero girls who will

go crazy for you.

If anything, laziness will make her go crazy trying to

fix you So to avoid being a bottom feeder, figure

out what's wrong in your life and fix what you can and accept what you can't.

Those are 10 tips to get girls crazy for you.

And while you're here, why not check out these other powerful videos?

These are perfect follow-ups to today's vid.

Powerpoint Screen Recording Has No Sound - Duration: 5:08.

hey everybody its Edie here your video and youtube strategist and I wanted to

come in to respond to a question that a viewer left by the name of Tom Thumb

thank you so much for your question and his question was in reference to how do

you get the audio to work when you're doing a PowerPoint screen recording and

my apologies for not actually explaining this in my previous video first and

foremost you need to have a USB microphone that's plugged into your

computer I'm using an audio technica at2020 microphone but it could be a

snowball it could be any of the myriad of other USB microphones that are out

there I think it's best to have them USB one as opposed to one that's plugged

into your microphone jack only because the quality is so superior PowerPoint

has a way of knowing exactly which mic to pull the audio from because obviously

most of us have built-in microphones on our computers I wouldn't recommend doing

that just because I don't think the audio is going to be as clear so if you

have a USB microphone I think that's gonna be your best bet so that's all you

really need to do if you cannot record your audio just based on what I just

said it's obviously because you either don't have a USB microphone or there's

some sort of technical issue that you're running through and you may need to

Google it to figure out what the problem could be but what you would do in order

to get the audio to sync with your visuals is you would then need to open

up your PowerPoint what I have on screen right now is simply a template that I

pulled from PowerPoint and then I added a blank page before it just so that you

can see exactly what it is that I'm going to be doing and you'll figure this

out in the end why I'm doing this is because this is where the recording is

going to appear so in order for us to get started we need to first go to

insert and I wanted to talk to you before we click on the screen recording

button I wanted to also let you know in addition to live recording your audio

you can pre record it as well either if you get it from

mp3 or wav file that you have on your computer or if you want to record your

audio on each individual slide you can go ahead and do that if not you can just

come over here to screen recording and you see that it automatically comes down

with this little tab that shows you all of these different icons so this one

we're going to use just to record when we're ready to stop it we're going to

hit this to stop if we only wanted to select a specific portion of the screen

we can do that by clicking this if we did not want to have any audio on here

at all we can mute our microphone we're not in this instance

and then also if we did not or do want to capture the pointer so if we want to

or if we don't want if we want to make sure that the pointer is selected we can

do that if we don't want it we can then so des elect it I guess it's the word so

anyway so when we're ready we just hit record it counts us down it's on the

screen that it's going to start on so you just start talking at this point you

can say welcome everyone here's my presentation you then just click to go

from one slide to the next and then you continue to speak on this slide and then

you go on to the next and to the next and to the next until the next and to

the next until you're finished so I think we're ending so now we are done

and this indicates that we're done when you're finished you can then just hover

back up here where it allows you to either pause your recording or you can

stop and it tells you how long this recording was so right now we're at 43

seconds so we're just gonna hit stop and as soon as you're finished it

automatically embeds your recording onto the first page or first slide of your

presentation to test to make sure that this recorded I'm going to stop speaking

so that you can see that it actually recorded meaning that it's gonna start

on so you just start talking at this point you can say welcome everyone

here's my presentation if you know wish to save your video as a separate piece

of media you just simply need to right-click it and go to save media as

and then you save it you title it and you save it wherever you need to on your

computer so let's just so there you can see that it actually recorded the audio

so I hope that that answers your questions if you have any other

questions in reference to this feel free to drop me a comment below I look

forward to hearing from you and take care

Old High End E-Bike Or New Cheap Model | Ask EMBN Anything About E-Biking - Duration: 14:30.

- Pedals, droppers, warranty and rims.

- It can only be one thing and that's the Ask EMBN Show.

- Topsey Kretts, clip less or flat pedals?

(shushes)

- Is it--

- Listen

- More of a ...

- Oh you go first.

- More of a personal opinion or what is best?

You know personally, I just use flat pedals

for 95 percent of my riding.

Occasionally, I'll stick a set of clips on

if I'm riding a long distance or more cross country,

just pure cross country miles.

- Topsey, I think it depends on the type

of terrain you ride.

Also, I think the climate comes into it as well,

'cause I, we tend to slide around a lot

in the northern hemisphere,

especially between October and April,

and I've been riding flat pedals for a long time.

However, last February we went to France

and rode with double World Downhill Champion, Fabien Barel.

And I was convinced that flat pedals were the best thing

for e-bikes until went riding with Fabien.

And he went up the most ridiculous climbs,

with clipped-in pedals and I can see that that is

that split second where you can get

that little bit more out of the motor.

I think it's possible to do slightly more

technical things on clips.

- I'd agree but I think you definitely

need to be that higher skilled level rider.

You know Fabien's obviously a high level professional.

I think as a beginner, if you're starting off

on an e-bike, I would probably err towards flats.

I mean you can get away from it, you can stick a foot down.

I think to be a good clipped-in rider,

you really need to be quite a high level--

- Really?

- Of riding. Yeah, I think especially

on an e-bike, I do more flats.

- Interesting, but do you know another thing?

It's a big topic, actually 'cause I was speaking

to the Don, Don's our colleague on GMBN,

and I've been quite a lot of tension

in my hamstrings and apparently

if you ride flat a lot of the time,

and we do ride flat a lot of the time,

you do tend to cramp up there a little bit,

so I've got to constantly stretch

out my hamstrings if you're riding flat pedals.

- I don't think it's quite such a big thing

on an e-bike as it is on a normal trail bike.

A lot of people ride clipped-in purely

for keeping that cadence nice and smooth

and the power output but I think

on the e-bike, obviously with the motor,

I don't think it's such an essential bit

of kit in my eyes.

- Chris, we could go 'round in circles all day.

In the meantime, Chris, Andy Sintes is asking,

"Hi guys, what is the height difference

"between a 27.5+ 2.8 and a 29 by 2.35 tire?

"Not much maybe so roll over would be very similar

"but would have better side wall stability on the 29."

Now that really depends, ultimately,

on what tire you are using,

whether you're using a downhill casing tire

or a cross-country casing tire

so you know what will weight there,

you could be having a 1.5 kilo tire work,

versus a 800 gram tire.

- Yep.

- Ultimately the roll over on both tires

is actually pretty good, but I think

you might find that if you're in really

worn out trail center terrain, where a lot of

the finer material has been washed out,

then that big 27.5 2.8 tire actually goes over

the square edges a little bit easier than

a lower profile 29 tire.

At the same time, a 29 inch tire in

the mud in slippery conditions is absolutely incredible.

What are your thoughts Chris?

- [Chris] I think the sidewall stability, definitely on

the bigger plus tires is something I know a lot more,

especially on the softer tire pressures, you know,

kind of like the more recommended low tire pressures.

You get a lot more flex in those sidewalls I think

with the 29 it offers you a skinnier tire to start with.

Less tall isn't as prone to tire flex in the berms, so--

- At the same time, I just want to add to this

is that on the rear of an e-bike it's really good

to have 227.5 2.8 tire, unless, of course,

you've got a really good angular 29 tire.

But, if you see more about e-bike tires,

then I've done a pretty in depth video

about just that topic.

More talk, increased use, and heavier weights mean

that we need more stability, more durability,

puncture protection, and of course grip on our e-bike tires.

Though, how on earth do you choose what type of tire to get?

This is our fundamentals into tire choice.

We're gonna cover everything from width, tire compound,

tread pattern, weight and much, much more.

- Do you have and suggestions for

a good quality, not super bike quality,

dual suspension e-bike for my wife?

She's only 146 centimeters tall

and currently rides a Merida Juliet 7.100

in extra small size even though that is a bit big for her.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

- Yeah, hi Connor.

I think good quality and super bike quality

is probably different when you measure e-bikes

to when you measure, like, classic mountain bikes,

because performance is measured in such things

as range, liability, rather than, saving

a couple hundred grams here and there

or having carbon fiber.

But, yeah--

Wow, so, that height--

146 centimeters, now I do know someone who's

that very same height and rides a small specialized Levo.

So, I think she wouldn't have a problem with that.

However, I would say that in terms of what bikes

are available, now Canyon do a really good women specific

e-bike Spectral:ON. They also do the non-women specific

if your wife might prefer a standard,

all around bike. My wife rides that as well.

Vitus do a really good bike at just over 3000 pounds.

So, there's quite a few bikes out there.

Cube do them. I think the lower end specialize--

- Yeah, Haibike as well.

- Yeah, Haibike's have got a massive range.

You best just go for the size small or extra small.

I think for the reach she should look at

the reach numbers on these bikes.

Down around, I'm thinking about 420 millimeter reach.

- Yeah, a lot of these manufactures, on their websites,

will actually have a geometry part of

the website where you can look--

- Recommended sizing.

- Yeah, measure those sort of seat tubes.

Main thing, when your measuring a bike

is going to be that seat tube height

and the reach as well. Just have a look

at those figures and make sure they all look pretty good.

- I also think, Connor, maybe you go into your bike shop

and get on a size small or extra small bike

and get the people in the shop to roll the bars back,

put the seat forward, so you can get a better idea

on just how the fit is on that e-bike.

And remember fit is something you can change on a bike.

- Kay, so we got this one in from Alex Kurkin Ask EMBN,

"How did you film the rock? Did you have to take

"a few passes to get different angles? Did you break

"it down into sections to take shots from above

"and following versus regular camera shots?"

- We can't give information like that away.

- "Super interested to learn about your process."

- Can't give information like that away.

- So, those videos are pretty hard to make,

you know, me and Steve might do multiple shots

on things, multiple takes--

- So you are going to give away the information.

- Yeah, especially when you make a mistake

and slide off and slip a pedal.

- [Steve] But there was no sliding off

in the making of the rock.

- [Chris] If we got it wrong on the rock,

it pretty much would be game over.

- [Steve] So, we had to get it right, basically.

- [Chris] Definitely, yeah.

We had a separate drone operator, camera man,

four Gimbals, multiple shoots

and not attempts, but shots, basically.

- Plus the other thing is you have to deal with

the banter between everyone in the group.

- That's a big part, you enjoy that, right?

- Right. Have a check out the rock video down here.

Was a great day out.

The rock. A real mountain rock face challenge.

(heavy metal music)

Woah, the exposure to my left is insane.

(screams)

(heavy metal music)

This is from Cleber Tonus, or Cleber Tonus,

or Tonus Cleber, sorry. Apologies for that.

"Have you guys experienced the app Blevo?

"Besides managing the level of support called into

"it's cardiovascular and muscular fitness,

"it manages in three dynamic levels,

"generating a pedaling closer to that of

"a muscular bike and consuming much less battery.

"It has a completissimo and customizable panel.

"It generates statistics of everything

"and exports the roots to the straw of a top.

"You should try."

Whoa, cardiovascular and muscular fitness.

Chris, that's your completissimo, that's your department.

- Definitely sounds just up my street.

- I have not tried the app Blevo.

However, I do know that Chris Smith has.

- Yeah, I do use Blevo now and again on my Kenevo.

It's a pretty good app and you can adjust that

all the way down, but it's pretty similar to

the Mission Control app. It's obviously quite easy.

Where if you want to de restrict that bike

you can just swipe it and totally change that.

- But why would you de restrict your bike? Big jumps?

- If you wanted to ride, maybe some big jumps,

limited run up, things like that.

Or if you were just riding on private land

on flat tracts of--

- How does that affect the warranty on your Kenevo?

- I believe it invalidates the warranty,

but I'm not 100 percent clear on that,

but it's up to you. You know, you guys,

if you want to run that stuff.

- I'd rather keep my Kenevo.

- It is a good app, but yeah.

- Moving on. To Sarah Dobb. "Hi, I have only

"been mountain biking for four weeks

"and had my first crash nearly three week ago

"and I'm now nursing a chipped bone in my elbow.

"Do you have any recovery suggestions?"

- Elbows, yeah. I've broke the radial head off

my elbow, so one of the big bones in the radius.

So that's floating around. Had that screwed back on.

Probably one of the nastiest crashes,

the worst injuries I've had is,

because the elbow isn't just a bending joint,

it actually is rotational as well.

So when you spin that it actually spins around.

It's a really hard one to get moving again.

Best advice for me was to actually go swimming,

so you got non weight bearing and a lot

of just resistance training without--

- What about physio stretch bands?

- Yeah, physio stretch bands and swimming.

That's the best way to get around any sort of elbow--

- No, e-biking though?

- Maybe gently e-bike riding.

- Gently e-biking.

Okay, this from Fluflo. Fluflo? Fluflo. Floflu.

"Hi guys, great show--" Thank you very much,

"What do you think about the specialized Roval rims?

"I've got a Kenevo and did damage both them

"many times. Which kind of rims

"are better for rocky trails?

"I live in North Garter Lake, you know

"of the area and the rocks there."

Garter, that's a pretty brutal place for rims.

Now, in a way you almost, rims and wheels,

you almost need to have them custom built

depending on where you ride

and your weight and your riding style,

but yeah, your right. Garter, what's

that crazy one on the east side of the lake?

Its absolutely mental. I don't know what its called,

but its brutal on bikes. When it comes to Roval,

are you talking carbon fiber?

Are you talking alloy on those rims?

If you get back to us on that, we can answer you.

But I think on e-bikes we tend to ride mostly

on alloy rims because of the slightly heavier weight

that Chris is carrying about with him.

And, yeah, but like loads of companies do them.

Obviously, like you say, Roval do good wheels.

DT Swiss have a great range, Mavic, Stan's.

But how about checking out

the 24 hole specialized Roval wheel.

That could be a good option for you

to get more sort of flex in the frontsies.

It's a far softer ride amongst

those brutal limestone Garter rocks.

- Just got this one in from Ian Webster.

- Ah, the weber.

- Ask EMB--

- What you laughing at?

- "I'm looking at a 2019 Levo FSR

"in aluminum, but I've seen an offer on

"a 2018 Levo Comp Carbon for the same price.

"Which should I go for?"

- Oh yeah, nice choice to have.

- It is.

- I think we can remember, Ian, is that

the 2018 is 135 month travel, whereas

the 2019 is 150. Obviously know, but

the 2019 does the 29 inch wheels,

2018, 27.5.

- Battery size? What are we talking on about

the same battery size?

- Battery size, yeah obviously you got 700 watt

there on the new specialized bikes,

but I think what's quite critical here

is that, depends how tall you are.

I think if you're a taller rider

the new Levos are slightly bigger

in range so you can get a bike that fits

you better. If you like, over six foot.

When it comes to alloy versus carbon,

I wouldn't worry too much about that

because the performance on an e-bike,

maybe you should be going for

the bigger battery rather than the carbon fiber.

But, yeah, I'd think about sizing

before anything, first and foremost.

- We've actually done a video on the new Levo.

- Yep.

- Check it out here.

- It's a good one.

(rock music)

- And finally, it's Tomy Boy, Tomy Boy.

"If I wouldn't ride the bike during the winter,

"what is recommended? Fully charge

"the battery to 100 percent, or just leave it

"at around 40 percent? And would be best to unplug

"the battery or leave it plugged into the bike?"

- I think your answer for that one is best

to leave it between 60 to 70 percent charged.

Just try to bring it inside if possible.

Batteries don't like extreme temperatures,

especially the cold or extreme heat.

Bring it inside somewhere nice cool

and quiet, like it's a battery,

like a nice temperature around 20 degrees Celsius

is a really good temperature to keep them at.

When it comes to leaving it plugged in,

it is not a good idea because that

battery charger could malfunction

or overheat, you know. It's not a good idea.

Very nice tip for charging them

is just actually buy a wall timer

so you can plug that into a socket,

leave it to charge for four or five hours

and then it will turn off if you

are going to leave it plugged in.

But best to remove it, bring it inside

the house. Nice and safe.

- Wow, wise, wise words from Christopher Smith.

So that's it guys, thanks so much

for sending your questions in.

We really look forward every week

to answer, or attempting to answer some

of the questions you send in.

Now, remember it's a two way thing,

so if you think you can add to

the conversation, please do leave

your comments down below.

In the meantime, if you want to

be inspired, check out this video

with double World Downhill Champion, Fabien Barel.

Which, he's riding clips and I'm riding flats

down in south France. Absolutely awesome.

- And one of the questions in this weeks show

was about the rock. Be sure to check

that one out if you haven't had a chance to see that.

A real epic climb that me and Steve did up in

the middle of North Wales. Really cool one.

Don't forget to--

- You can like, can you subscribe.

- Yeah, like and subscribe. Don't forget,

How to Analyze a Business Process - Duration: 12:11.

Hi, I'm Laura Brandenburg from Bridging the Gap, and we help business analysts start

their careers.

Today, I want to share a really important technique with you on our business process

modeling and how to analyze a business process because when you're trying to figure out

what problem you're actually solving as a business analyst, it's really important

to know what the business process is.

It helps you look at what the need is, what the scope is, and what problem we should even

be solving with this process.

You want to do this in both a visual way and a textual way, and we're going to talk about

how those work together.

Now, you might not be a business analyst yet.

We help a lot of people get started.

If you're in a software development role, this is a great technique to use to understand

the business perspective of the technical or the software that you build.

How does the business actually use this software in the bigger picture?

What are all the steps that they might do before they use your software, and what are

the steps they might do after?

It helps you see how your software fits into their day-to-day work flow.

If you're a subject matter expert or somebody who's hoping for technology improvements

to the work you do every day, using this sort of analysis can really help you fully articulate

what you do day-to-day and how that work flows, so that when you're talking to a developer

or business analyst about the enhancements you want to a system, you can be very clear

about how that process flows today.

You might find opportunities to improve it, even just by analyzing, as well, which is

always a win-win.

In this video, we're going to talk about what a business process is, as well as what

the key sections in a template that we teach at Bridging the Gap in terms of how to document

and analyze a business process in a very clear, very complete way.

Just to lay the groundwork, a business process is just a step-by-step sequence of events

that is performed by a business user to achieve a specific goal.

You want to know: what's the desired outcome?

What's the goal?

What's the thing that happens at the end of this process?

Then, you back engineer.

What are the things that have to happen to achieve that goal?

All of those steps go into your business process.

Some of those steps could be manual.

They could be in a spreadsheet.

They might be on a sticky note on the user's computer, the business person's computer.

They might be using software.

Those steps are not limited to what the software sees on a use case, which is very limited

to the software.

It's very all-encompassing.

What are all the things they need to do?

Even if that's getting up and walking over and talking to somebody at the desk next to

them, that's the kind of information that you want to capture in your business process.

One more important thing is that they can have variations and exceptions.

We're not always doing the same sequence of steps.

One way that comes up for us at Bridging the Gap is when you register for one of our courses

online, when you go through our online shopping cart, the system automatically will create

a course registration for you and send you an email with that course registration information

and your login details so you get access right away.

That process works beautifully for a majority of the registrations we have, which are one

person paying for one course at a time.

Every once in a while, we have teams invest in our training, or a manager who wants two

or three people on their team, or a business analyst who gets the person next to them to

join with them, which is awesome, and they'll pay for multiple course seats at once.

Then, the system doesn't work so well.

It works well.

We actually have a manual process that'll work around so that you send us the names

and emails of those people, and then we will, within a day or two, set up access to all

of those course participants.

So, an example of when you have a main process and then variations.

It's the same goal with the same outcome.

Each individual course participant is getting their registration information, but there's

a variation to it when something triggers that variation.

We're going to talk a little bit more about that when we go through the sections.

I have some notes here because there are a lot of sections, actually, and I want to make

sure that I don't miss something.

You don't have to take notes.

You can if you want, but you can actually download the template we have for free, and

that will walk you step-by-step through each of these sections we're going to talk about

so you can get started right away plugging your own information in about your business

process.

If you want to get that, that's at Bridging-the-Gap.com/BPtemplate, and don't forget those hyphens in Bridging-the-Gap.

There should also be a link below this video, as well, for you to grab that.

The first section of our template is our statement of scope, or our purpose.

This is: what is this process?

You want to name your process, and you want to start your process name with a verb.

It's not "Our Course Purchasing Process" or "Our Course Participant Process."

It's "Purchase Course Process" or "Give Access to Course Process."

It's very specific on the outcome.

You want to identify the scope of the process really clearly.

You want to identify when that process starts and when it ends.

Then, you want to talk about the desired outcome of the process.

It's a little different than the purpose because there are a lot of reasons that we

can execute a process.

We can get really engrained in how we do it here.

"That's just how we do it."

Why are we doing this process?

For Bridging the Gap, we have a course registration process because we want to help people improve

their skills and because we are a company.

We're a revenue generating company, and those two things go hand in hand.

That's our "why" behind the course registration.

If we did not have course registration online, we would have it through the phone, or we'd

have it through fax way back in the day.

It's an essential business process to delivering the value we're here to deliver, as well

as receiving the revenue that allows us to be a profitable company that expands and grows

and helps more people.

So, what's the desired outcome of the process that you're considering?

Then, you're going to go step by step through the process or activity description.

Step by step, what are the things that a business user does?

Sometimes you'll have multiple business users, so then you want to be clear about

what the handoff is and who is doing what by using different actor or role names.

After that, you have the exceptions.

As I mentioned, we have a primary path for when a course participant just purchases one,

and then we have an alternate path, or an exception path, if multiple registrations

come through at once.

You want to be able to handle those sorts of variations and specify exactly what happens

differently when you have a variation.

Another thing you might have is business rules.

For us, a business rule is when somebody purchases more than one course registration at once,

we will have them set up with access within two business days.

Often, our team is amazing, and often, it happens within hours, but our business rule

is two business days.

You can have a business rule that a business user has to support.

A lot of times we have business rules that are built into our systems that our system

actually enforces for us.

In a business process, you could talk about either of those kinds of rules.

The other thing you have in a business process is your entry criteria and your inputs.

Entry criteria are what must be true before the process starts.

In the course of our course registration, you must have access to an online system.

You must have a valid credit card.

All of those things must be true.

The inputs are a little different.

The inputs are what you have in place.

What are you tangibly bringing to the business process?

So, actually, valid credit card would be more of an input.

You'd have an input of a credit card or maybe if you were buying a course and getting

approval on your company, you might have an input of an approval document of some sort

that allowed you to use that credit card.

Something like that.

It's a tangible input.

Our sales material and our marketing material for our courses could be considered an input

for that process.

On the reverse, you have the exit criteria and the output.

What is true, or what has to be true when that process is complete?

The process is complete when the course participant is set up and has access.

Then, what's the output?

In our case, the main output is that email that gets sent to the course participant with

their login information.

That's an output of the business process.

Finally, you might have a process flow, or a work flow, diagram.

This is that visual model, and often you will have the visual model that accompanies your

textual process.

All of this information that we've just been talking about can be modeled both visually

and textually.

It's really important to look at it both ways, and you want to have those two types

of information, essentially, side by side so you can see the visual.

Often that visual is going to be a little bit higher level of information.

Then, see the text, which has the more detail.

Again, you don't have to remember all of these details.

We have, for free for you, the business process template.

It's below so you can start using this right away, getting started without a lot of roadblocks.

It's one of the thirteen templates that we include in our Business Analyst Template

Toolkit, and we're just happy to give it away for free.

The toolkit also has corresponding work samples and a guidebook.

So, there is a lot more in that, as well, but the template we can give, for free, to

you today.

I just want to talk a little bit more about this difference between the textual model

and the visual model because one thing we see with our course participants is that they'll

just send us in the visual model and be like, "This is it, right?

This is all I usually do."

A lot of business analysts really only do process flow diagrams or work flow diagrams,

and they consider those complete business process models.

What happens, though, when you start going through the text is that—and especially

start applying some specific guidelines about how to phrase those activity descriptions,

what goes in the entry criteria versus the inputs.

It really forces you to think through the process at a more granular level and dig deep.

This is how you don't miss steps.

This is how you uncover, "The stakeholder jumped from here to here."

When you're winding that up on a process flow diagram, a lot of times, it's easy

to just skim over the fact that that connection actually doesn't make sense.

When you're writing it out using the template, often you'll say, "Oh, wait a minute.

There's a gap here that I didn't see," or, "I don't know who the actor is,"

or, "I don't know this piece of information."

The template helps.

The textual view really helps you dig a little deeper as a business analyst and uncover gaps

and ask really smart questions, which is what we all want to do: look smart.

Even though we don't actually know the process ourselves, it helps us ask really smart questions.

That's why I'd encourage you, if you haven't before, to check out how to actually document

the business process textually, in addition to that visual model that goes along with

the textual model.

When you want to get started with that, go ahead and download our template totally free.

We want to help you get started at Bridging the Gap because that's our mission.

We build our profession one business analyst at a time.

Success starts with you, and we are here to help you start your business analyst career.

Again, I'm Laura Brandenburg from Bridging the Gap.

Happy process modeling!

Can you solve the time travel riddle? - Dan Finkel - Duration: 4:32.

Your internship in Professor Ramsey's physics lab has been amazing.

Until, that is, the professor accidentally stepped through a time portal.

You've got just a minute to jump through the portal to save him before it closes

and leaves him stranded in history.

Once you're through it,

the portal will close, and your only way back will be to create a new one using the

chrono-nodules from your lab.

Activated nodules connect to each other

via red or blue tachyon entanglement.

Activate more nodules and they'll connect

to all other nodules in the area.

As soon as a red or blue triangle is created with a nodule at each point,

it opens a doorway through time that will take you back to the present.

But the color of each individual connection manifests at random,

and there's no way to choose or change its color.

And there's one more problem:

each individual nodule creates a temporal instability that raises the

chances the portal might collapse as you go through it.

So the fewer you bring, the better.

The portal's about to close.

What's the minimum number of nodules you need to bring to be certain you'll create

a red or blue triangle and get back to the present?

Pause here if you want to figure it out for yourself!

Answer in: 3

Answer in: 2

Answer in: 1

This question is so rich that an entire branch of mathematics known as

Ramsey Theory developed from it.

Ramsey Theory is home to some famously difficult problems.

This one isn't easy, but it can be handled

if you approach it systematically.

Imagine you brought just three nodules.

Would that be enough? No - for example, you might have two blue

and one red connection, and be stuck in the past forever.

Would four nodules be enough? No - there are many arrangements here

that don't give a blue or red triangle.

What about five? It turns out there is an

arrangement of connections that avoids creating a blue or red triangle.

These smaller triangles don't count because they don't have a nodule at each corner.

However, six nodules will always create a blue triangle or a red triangle.

Here's how we can prove that without sorting through every possible case.

Imagine activating the sixth nodule, and consider how it might connect

to the other five. It could do so in one of six ways:

with five red connections, five blue connections, or some mix of red and blue.

Notice that every possibility has at least

three connections of the same color coming from this nodule.

Let's look at just the nodules on the other end of those same three

color connections. If the connections were blue,

then any additional blue connection between those three would

give us a blue triangle.

So the only way we could get in trouble

is if all the connections between them were red.

But those three red connections would give us a red triangle.

No matter what happens, we'll get a red or a blue triangle,

and open our doorway.

On the other hand, if the original three

connections were all red instead of blue, the same argument still works,

with all the colors flipped.

In other words, no matter how the

connections are colored, six nodules will always create a red

or blue triangle and a doorway leading home.

So you grab six nodules and jump through the portal. You were hoping your

internship would give you valuable life experience. Turns out,

that didn't take much time.
