how can old people carry on riding motorcycles - catch you inside

hello welcome to Revelator Alf I hope you're enjoying the channel and the

series please subscribe and hit the notifications bell down there please

leave lots of comments as you're watching and stick around right at the

end for some added information so in this video I'm talking about how elderly

people can carry on riding motorcycles now you might think that's a little bit

offensive you know talking about elderly people and riding motorcycles everything

but the reality is that as we all get older we're gonna get a little bit

slower we're gonna get a little bit weaker and we're gonna get a little bit

less mobile that even if we have all our faculties and all our physical

capabilities so there are certain things that we always need to do before we even

attempt to get on a motorcycle we need to analyze our physical capability our

balance our vision our hearing that kind of thing then we need to look at okay

what about our physical mobility can we actually get onto the motorcycle

can we actually handle the weight that kind of thing so as we get older we may

want to change the actual style of motorcycle that we ride and also the

size of motorcycle that we ride okay so let's consider a rider who has

trouble in cocking their leg over the bike to get over the saddle for example

and sit on the bike well in that case they may consider actually choosing a

lower bike for example a low rider a bobber that kind of thing something that

actually sits a lot lower so you have a lot less trouble in getting your leg over

the bike pardon the pun but also you'll talk about sports bikes well sports

bikes you know you're a very in a racing prone position where you can put a lot

of weight on your wrists a lot of weight a lot of tension on the joints and your

hip and your knees that kind of thing as well so it might be a case you might

want to just move away from that sort of racing style by now I'm not talking

about elderly at retirement age 90 years old 100 years older I'm talking

as we're getting into middle-age and then moving on it really depends on your

body type as well as a general rule regardless of how old you are you need

to find a bike that fits you fits your physical frame now are you a tall person

are you a short person are you middle height you know what what is your arm

reach what is your you know the length of your legs that kind of thing you know

we are all we are all beautiful people and we are all different shapes and

sizes so to be able to control a motorcycle effectively we need to be

able to operate it effectively we need to be able to fit that motorcycle or the

motorcycle needs to fit us whichever way you want to look at it so you know it's

our physical ability to reach all the controls you know are we comfortable on

the bike can we get on can we get off can we rescue the bike if let's say you

know we're stopping as a set of traffic lights and all of a sudden the bike

wants to lean over do we have the physical strength to stop it leaning

over do we have the physical strength to pick the bike up you know once it's

falling over if ever that happens hopefully that will never happen but

depending on the riding environment that might be a reality if you go riding

off-road on muddy tracks on trails in the ruts that kind of thing over rocky

terrain you know you're really challenging yourself and the bike at

some point you will drop the bike you know it's inevitable so and do you have

the physical capability to lift it up so we're not talking just about elderly

people here we're talking about all ages and the physical capability to be able

to operate the motorcycle properly in whichever environment you're riding here

and also to be able to pick up if you need to now it doesn't mean that let's

say you can't pick up your motorcycle off the ground that you shouldn't be

riding it you know I'm not saying that at all but this is something that you

might want to consider so let's say for example well how can elderly people

carry on riding motorcycles into their later life okay so here's some

tips that you might want to consider as you getting older or anytime you actually

go riding on a motorcycle you know whether you are fit to ride so as we get

older we really need to start analyzing our suitability to ride motorcycles so I

always use this I'm safe acronym which is I stands for illness are you suffering

from any illness that will you know affect your ability to ride a motorcycle

I'm not talking about having a cold or something like that

I'm talking about something that's you know quite serious that you know will

affect your ability to control your balance your vision your hearing that

kind of thing M stands for medication are you taking

any medication I'm not talking about a paracetamol or a... you know you know a

tonic or anything on that I'm talking about something that will affect your

ability to register for perception for your balance that kind of thing. S are

you under severe stress at the moment that actually is affecting the way

you're thinking about things the way you're rationalizing how you're making

decisions and judgments A - are you under the influence of alcohol that's very

key here even small amounts of alcohol will affect your body's ability to

control the motorcycle and make the right decisions at the right time F

fatigue you know and we're not talking like just feeling tired we're talking

about chronic fatigue here are you really that tired that you really shouldn't

be operating any machinery let me alone getting on a motorcycle and

E is the kind of emotional side of everything is there something going on

in your life that you know you really should just not be driving or riding or

anything like that you know is there if you had a you know a tragedy in the

family a death in the family have you had some financial worries you know

whatever it is you know some emotional issue that's going on that you really

need to be off the motorcycle so that's in general for all ages but as you get

older then you really need to start looking at your physical capability so

this really comes down to keeping yourself

in good health having regular checkups and also constantly monitoring how

you're riding and your suitability to ride a particular style of motorcycle

and also when you decide to go ride your motorcycle as well so let's say for

example you know we're all getting older you know I'm middle-aged now so I do

this all the time I'm looking at my physical frame my weight my mobility

what I'm doing I always have physical exercises do stretching throughout the

winter and also the summer just keep myself moving keep all the joints moving

as well obviously you know we would all like to lose a little bit the weight

wouldn't we so it's also about managing your weight and also your health as well

okay so as we get older we really need to start looking at ourselves and also

our physical shape or physical conditioning are we able to ride that

motorcycle is that motorcycle suited to us so on and so forth so we need to look

at our you know our health or general well-being

you know our physical mobility we need to keep having a bit more exercise

instead of just going out and though so try cycling try and low-impact workouts

walking you know if you've got a dog carry on walking the dog that kind of

thing do lots of stretching exercises if you think you're not going to be riding

throughout the winter months then keep yourself active in the winter keep

yourself moving so when you get on your bike again in the summer you know you'll

be ready for it you know do stretching exercises and sitting down on a chair

reaching out for the handlebars you know pretending you're doing so that kind of

thing you know step over the bike you know keep yourself moving repeatedly do

exercises that mimic what you would do on a motorcycle as well so this is kind

of physical conditioning obviously you need to monitor your weight and your

health and blood pressure and everything like that you know but that is just

something you know that we should all be doing anyway

so you know keep yourself in a physical condition I'm not talking about having

to go to the gym everyday and you know lift dumbbells and all that kind of

stuff you know what that's not dumbbells by

the way that's I don't know what that is anyway that's a you know what I mean but

you know what I'm saying is just keep yourself active you know walk the dog go

cycling swimming whatever it is especially during the winter months have

regular check-ups with the doctor with your eyesight and hearing everything

like that and if you get to the point when you think well actually I cannot

ride this motorcycle because of this mobility impairments then it's time to

change the motorcycle you may want to consider as you're getting older

different times of year to ride a motorcycle

and I say you might want to right now in a warm weather as opposed to cold

weather you might want to ride out only in dry weather as opposed to wet weather

you know that kind of thing so you have to start picking and choosing when it's

the right time for you to ride your motorcycle and then analyze is that

motorcycle right for you in these conditions on this particular day there

might come a time when you think right okay I can't right this type, I'm

gonna have to change to another type A much lighter a much smaller bike

something that's a lot easier it might even mean that you get down and

you step down to a moped or a scooter or something like that personally you know

I'm a big guy but I love scooters I think they're great machines

especially in urban areas I think they're brilliant. They're light, they're nimble

they're a step through you just step through the bike as opposed to

cocking your leg over they're really practical I think they're brilliant

machines so you know from my point of view yes I ride a big motorcycle and

riding all sorts of big motorcycles but I've got no problem in stepping down

as long as I keep myself on two wheels that's I'm OK in that regard

so there might come a point after a while that actually you really can't

ride a motorcycle any more or any form of motorcycle or any form of motorcycle with two wheels you know with a physical capability eyesight hearing

whatever so you know if the law allows you may have be able to go on to a

three-wheeled motorcycle a trike or tricycle, you might even go on to a

four wheeled motorcycle I'll say a motorcycle but a quad if you know what I

mean okay there are lots of variations that

you know you don't have to go to the custom a bike or trike or quad scene you

can get these bikes right out of the dealership now so whatever it is you can

still experience that open to the elements kind of riding but you're not

actually on a motorcycle anymore you're on a trike or a quad and at some point

let's face it you might come to that age where you really don't feel safe on a

motorcycle anymore you know you might have back issues

mobility issues you know balance issues vision issues hearing issue whatever it

is and you just physically cannot ride anymore well if that's the case it's

just something we all have to get on with really now this has got nothing to

do with a particular age let's say you reach 80 years old and say I'm not

allowed to ride a motorcycle anymore it's down to you as an individual to

take care of yourself take care of your body of your well-being and keep

yourself in reasonable shape you know keep yourself active especially as

you're getting older keep yourself mobile especially during those non

riding months in the winter perhaps you know just keep yourself active practice

riding the motorcycle without actually riding it and then when you come to the

spring and it gets warmer and then you can hop on and just go for a ride and

you know your you'll already be in good physical condition but it's really about

analyzing yourself are you and be honest with yourself be really honest with

yourself are you able to ride this motorcycle safely and still enjoy it

okay well I hope you enjoyed the the video I hope you found this useful

lots of the work that I did in the emergency services over the years was

dealing with motorcycle accidents of all descriptions of all ages but one of the

key areas that I started to realize was that after a winter break in the spring

there's always a spike in motorcycle accidents and sometimes a lot of that

was to do with the elderly now I'm not talking about eight years old here I'm

talking about middle-aged onwards just having a long break getting on the bike

and then they're not physically fit enough to be able to just jump on

and go for a ride okay they need to build up to it so that's something that

we've looked at and it is a known phenomenon so after the winter break get

on the bike lots of accidents occur for all different sorts of reasons but a

contributing factor will be your your your competency your proficiency and

your physical ability to be able to ride the motorcycle and also to be able to

perceive and register incoming hazards as well well I hope you found this

useful and I hope you carry on riding for many years to come as I hope I will

as well please leave lots of comments below and subscribe hit the

How Could You Defeat A Titanoboa Snake? - Duration: 5:43.

The titanoboa was A 48 foot long, 2 ton snake that ate crocodiles for breakfast.

It was the biggest snake to have ever lived in the history of our planet, and it lived

60 million years ago during the paleocene era.

If titanoboa were alive today, it would pose a definite threat to humanity, most specifically

humanity that lived in tropical rainforests near the equator.

But if titanoboa didn't go extinct, would that mean it would be invinsible?

Today, life's biggest questions asks, how could you defeat a titanoboa snake.

Hello and welcome back to life's biggest questions, the channel that imagines the imposible.

I'm charlotte dobre and thanks for checking out another video.

And a big welcome to all our new subscribers who found our channel through our video What

If The Titanoboa Snake Didn't Go Extinct.

As a big thank you, we've decided to make a series of videos on the titanoboa snake,

expanding on that idea.

Make sure you stick around until the end of the video where we will be responding to some

of your comments.

There are huge snakes like anacondas and pythons that are alive in this day and age that capable

of killing humans, And swallowing them whole.

Giant pythons have made headlines for swallowing humans.

Back in june of 2018, a 23 foot python swallowed an Indonesian woman whole after she had gone

to check on her vegetable garden.

This python was killed by the residents of the Indonesian town so that they could extract

the body of the slain woman from its belly.

A 23 foot python is still half the size of titanoboa, I would imagine it would have been

quite hard to kill.

So how could you defeat a titanoboa snake?

Well titanoboas would be extremely difficult to evade if they were roaming around the jungle,

hungry because they hadn't eaten in weeks.

58 Million years ago, titanoboa was the king of the jungle.

Titanoboas required warmer, tropical climates and would likely only live near the equator.

It hunted mostly in water, and was a swimmer.

It would be very difficult to navigate the swampy terrain of the rainforest, let alone

do so when there was a giant snake slithering about.

Titanoboa had a huge teeth with sharp teeth pointed toward its throat, that kept prey

moving toward its stomach.

Like other snakes, its strike was probably very fast, and it moved around effortlessly.

But does that mean it would be impossible to defeat a titanoboa snake?

Well, maybe for early humans who didn't know much about it.

But I highly doubt indigenous peoples, if they did manage to live at the same time during

titanoboas reign, would know nothing about how to defeat titanoboa.

After all, when it comes down to it, titanoboa was a snake.

And snakes are not invincible.

In fact, they have one very notable weakness.

Sure, to be killed by titanoboa would not be a fun experience.

Like other snakes, Titanoboa would wrap around its prey so it couldn't escape.

Every time its victim exhales, titanoboas grip around it gets tighter, eventually causing

it to suffocate.

That's when titanoboa opens its jaws that are equipped with flexable ligaments, and

proceeds to swallow its prey whole.

Even though this might seem like a terrifying scene, swallowing such a huge victim is not

an easy thing for a snake, even a snake as big as old tibo.

After titanoboa has consumed its prey whole, that is when its most vulnerable.

Titanoboa is going to be stuffed to the brim until it fully digests its meal.

I mean that's pretty relateable.

Its pretty difficult to do anything but watch tv after going back for second helpings at

your mom's thanksgiving feast.

I cant imagine titanoboa would have a very easy time doing anything either after eating

a whole crocodile.

It's not clear how long it would take for titanoboa to digest a pig or a crocodile or

even a human.

The warmer a snakes body is, the faster they digest their food.

It takes 3 to 5 days for a regular sized snake to digest its food.

And huge anacondas from south America eat larger prey, so their digestion takes weeks.

I would imagine the same would be true for titanoboa.

Good news is, This would be the perfect time to attack a titanoboa snake.

As I previously stated in my last video on titanoboa, if you wanted to set a trap for

this great snake, you could do so using its favourite food source, either a crocodile

or a pig.

Snakes are known to be notoriously picky eaters.

If they don't find any suitable prey, they go weeks without eating.

Titanoboa wouldn't be able to help itself if it came across a victim in the jungle so

beautifully set out for it to eat.

Once titanoboa scarfs down its meal, it would be pretty much helpless.

Indigenous people could have attacked titanoboa using spears, or even slicing it in two using

a huge sword.

And of course, in modern times, it would be easy to kill a titanoboa using modern weapons

like guns, fired at its head.

So there you have it, that is all for this episode of lifes biggest questions, but Before

we wrap up this video, I'm going to respond to some comments from our original video,

what if the titanoboa snake didn't go extinct.

Rusli Dharmawan – If they didn't go extinct, we will make them extinct.

That's our nature.

True enough.

Vince Noriega – Oh hell naw if this thing still existed then I'd voluntarily go extinct.

I second that.

Cellphone bwahahha – they would never survive today because the oxygen levels are very low

compared to its time.

Also very true.

Back when titanoboa was alive, there were plenty of animals and insects that were much

larger than we are used to, and that's because there was far more oxygen in the atmosphere.

Christiana Ogbuli – is it just me or is that snake like th basilisk from harry potter

and the chamber of secrets.

Definitely not the same snake because titanoboa was real.

ADHDetard – lets be glad its extinct.

I agree.

Snakes are my least favourite animal, even if I am a slytherin.

That is all for this episode of life's biggest questions, thanks so much for spending a few

of your valuable minutes with us.

Bystander Intervention for Sexual Harassment: A Training for Scholarly Society Members - Duration: 8:53.

Hello, and thank you for joining me. Today, we are going to discuss bystander

intervention strategies, ways all of us can intervene when we witness sexual

misconduct in workplace contexts.

Your decision to spend a few minutes today on this topic

is an important step forward in preventing sexual harassment and assault.

Have you ever felt powerless in the face of a situation that you knew

was harmful to your colleague?

Many of us have been there and it's never easy to

act, but my hope is that when you finish watching this video you'll be equipped

with some strategies that you can deploy to intervene in future situations.

I'm Sharon Potter, professor of sociology at the University of New Hampshire and

co-founder and the director of the Prevention Innovations Research Center.

My area of research expertise is sexual violence intervention strategies.

So let's start with developing a common understanding of what we are talking about.

What is sexual misconduct? Sexual misconduct is unwanted behaviors that

range from an inappropriate joke to a violent physical attack.

Sexual misconduct often involves power dynamics with the person who is being targeted at

the risk of losing professional opportunities should he or she challenge

the perpetrator's behaviors.

Sexual harassment and assault in workplace contexts

are not new problems but we are experiencing a broadening public

awareness of these issues as a result of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements.

This growing awareness gives us a collective opportunity to work towards reducing the problem.

Before we can intervene in an evolving situation, we need to know how to

identify situations that may warrant intervention.

There are some situations that are unambiguous.

So if you witness someone in physical danger, you should

seek assistance from formal authorities immediately.

Today we are talking about

situations that are not as obvious. If you see a situation that feels

uncomfortable to you as a witness, you should trust your instincts and directly

or subtly assess the situation. And one of the best ways to prepare to intervene

is to spend some time thinking about how you would respond to different types of situations.

At the end of a conference presentation session, you see a prominent

professor approach one of the graduate student presenters.

He rubs her arm and suggests a meeting in his hotel room to discuss her research.

While you understand the graduate student may be flattered

by the attention and you do not want to

thwart a potential opportunity for a legitimate professional development conversation,

the professor's approach makes you uncomfortable.

So what can you do?

As a bystander you could address the target directly

and offer an alternate safer context for the conversation.

You could say something like: "I want to hear more about the research as well. Can the three

of us have a cup of coffee in the lobby?"

If your sense is that the student would

like help removing herself from the situation entirely,

you could also offer her such an out.

For example, you could remind the student

that she is late to meet someone across the street. Both of these approaches

offer a rescue to the student and, hopefully, send a subtle message to the

professor that you do not think his behavior is appropriate.

Should your interpretation of the situation be incorrect, the student has the autonomy

to say no to your suggested alternatives.

You might also choose to address the

professor directly by saying something like: "I'm so glad to hear that you are

interested in the student's excellent work.

I think it would be more appropriate for you

to have a conversation in a more public setting."

You could also disrupt the situation by

doing something like flickering the lights in the room and announcing that

everyone needs to leave as the folks are setting up for the next session.

You could take that opportunity to pull the student aside and ask if she would like assistance.

You can let her know that you found the professor's behavior

inappropriate and that you are really sorry this has happened to her.

You can also let her know ways to report this behavior.

Finally, if you are concerned about a situation

but do not feel comfortable intervening yourself, you can

seek the help of others.

In this situation, you could see if there

is an association staff member in the room or ask a member of the hotel staff

for assistance.

You could also enlist the help of a colleague in the audience.

Intervening as a bystander in ongoing and single cases of workplace harassment

poses similar and different challenges. In workplace settings, people feel their

careers can be at risk if they intervene.

Particularly, if they call out a senior

colleague or a popular peer.

The choice to intervene is often shaped by a

person's own status. People with less status because of gender, rank, race, and

other characteristics may experience barriers to intervening. That is why it

is especially important for senior colleagues in secure positions to lead

by example and intervene in a visible manner that signals to others that this

type of behavior is not acceptable.

In many of these situations, the target

blames him or herself. So, when a bystander says to the target this is not

appropriate behavior or this is not your fault,

the statement reinforces to the target that the behavior is not appropriate,

it bolsters their confidence for seeking help, and has other positive implications

for how the target moves forward and is confident in their identity as a professional.

It is always up to you to decide whether

to respond to a situation and that is not always an easy decision.

We made this video so that if a situation arises for which you do feel comfortable

intervening, you will have a sense of what can be done.

As I said earlier, the key to intervening is

thinking through strategies in advance. Sexual harassment and assault in workplace contexts

can ruin people's careers and their lives.

It is important for us to come together collectively to ensure that our

colleagues are safe.

Being a bystander can be uncomfortable and involves some risks

but we need to empower ourselves to act to build a safe community.

6 mortgage questions | Top Mortgage Questions for First Time Homebuyers - Duration: 5:30.

This is Jeff O'Leary - "The Village Guru"

Mississauga Real Estate Broker

and in today's video I'm going to go over

6 awesome questions to ask your lender BEFORE you get a mortgage

in order to understand the process and get the best deal possible.

This video is great for first-time home buyers

and home buyers in general.

So without any further ado, let's get right into it!

In today's video we're going to go over

6 questions I definitely recommend you asking a lender

it's gonna give you a lot of information

and hopefully get you the best outcome possible

Question #1 - How much do you qualify for?

I'll get a lot of homebuyers call me up all excited to start the process and they'll say,

"Hey Jeff, we went to our bank and we've been"

"qualified for a mortgage up to $600k let's start the home buying process!"

and I'll be like, "Congratulations"

and then the first question I'm going to ask them is,

"does that include condo fees?"

because lenders what they do is they look at how much money you make

and they calculate the average carrying cost of the home,

your debt... and they come up with a ratio

and they say, "okay based on that you can afford a house like this"

However, they include condo fees as an EXPENSE.

So if you qualify for a $600K home

but instead you buy a $600k condo

with $400 a month condo fees

those additional fees

are going to eat into... the amount of money you can borrow.

So if it's a condo maybe you can only borrow $550k...

So it's important when you talk to your lender

that you clarify between freehold and condo

so you really get a good idea of what you qualify to buy.

Question #2 - have your lender or mortgage person calculate

ALL the costs associated with borrowing money

and to give you a monthly payment.

I always say if you qualify for $700K

then have them calculate

how much your monthly payment will be

based on the rate they're giving you...

based on the terms...

how much you will have to pay every month on that mortgage.

Now tell them to include CMHC and mortgage insurance if you're under 20%

and every other fee associated including life insurance and and that.

At the end of the day you want to know your total costs

and I don't like the sales process when you agree to one number

and then at the last minute

it's like, "oh, and you need this insurance" or whatever...

So make sure that they go through everything ahead of time

and be really clear you want no surprises after the process has started.

Question #3 - Have them explain the difference between

between 'Fixed-Rate' and 'Variable Rate'

because what you'll find is variable rates are

obviously better than fixed rate

however depending on your situation

you want to know what product is right for you

so it's very important to have them explain it

and also have them to explain that if you do go variable

how you maybe can lock it in if rates start to rise.

Question #4 - What's the penalty for pre-payments?

You want to be really clear about what you're able to pre-pay on a yearly basis

and also what's the penalty if you break your mortgage early?

A lot of buyers they go ahead

and maybe three years later the go an buy a new home

and they don't realize that it's a substantial cost to break that mortgage

and the problem is they've already bought a house

house so they have to go through with it.

I mean this can go into the thousands!

So have your mortgage broker go over a couple of scenarios with you

and don't accept the answer is "three months interest" or "interest differential"...

Say, "after two years if I decide to move what's the penalty going to be?"

You need concrete answers

you really need to understand how much that penalty is going to be

and that's how I recommend you do it.

Question #5 - Ask them how much commission they're making.

Seriously, I have to disclose what I get paid in commission

and what I find is it's (commission) always slipped in there

and they'll talk about 'basis points' and things like that

but flat out ask them what is the commission?

Especially if you're shopping around

because a lot of times mortgage brokers

can do things with the commission... and 'buy down' points

and that's how you see rates that no one else is able to give

but again... go for quality

I'm not saying to kill someone on their commission

but... have them disclose it.

If they're open to disclosing it

then obviously they're straightforward... a "no games" type of person

and if they kind of dance around the question

then you've got to wonder about a lot of other things going on

So I just like to ask that question for the heck of it!

Now finally question #6.

You need to ask about the mortgage approval process.

Too many buyers out there in the market

are working with agents that don't know the value of properties...

they're buying homes... waiving their conditions on financing

only to find out AFTER the fact

that the bank does not appraise the property at the value they thought it was

and in that case the buyer is still committed to buying the property

they're in a little bit of trouble because the bank

will not lend them all the money

and they either have to come up with that cash additionally

or go to friends and ...family

it's just not a situation you want to get into.

So be upfront with your lender or your mortgage person

ask them how this process works

and INSIST that any conditions be fulfilled

DURING your condition on financing.

That means if you buy the house on the weekend

come Monday you call them and say,

"Order that appraisal now so it's done before my conditions are up..."

"and we know everything is good and I can waive my condition"

That's really important because I don't want to see you get caught

just because something wasn't explaining you properly.

So there you have it!

If you're having trouble with the zoom effect in Kinemaster and want to know

how to fix it then be sure to stick around until the end of this video

because I'm going to show you exactly how you can. What's going on? My name is

Devin Street helping you build your online presence and today we're going to

be talking about how you can fix the zoom effect in Kinemaster but if

you're not already subscribed go ahead and click the subscribe button there's a

new Kinemaster video every single Wednesday so we have this image here and

as you can see it's randomly zooming and we don't know why and we want to fix

that so we click on the image and we go to the cropping and we see that a start

position and in position have already been set for us when we didn't set it

and we don't know why and we want to know how to fix it so simply all we have

to do is just go let's click check and then let's go down to the bottom left

corner we see this gear right here all we have to do is click the skier and

then we're gonna go down to editing and then once we're in the editing settings

all we have to do is go right here and where it says project default photo

cropping we need to fix that I recommend doing the fill in screen but you can

also do the fit in screen and then we close that and now let's go ahead and

add the clip back to the project and now that the clip is added back to the

project it now fits in the screen and there's no cropping on it or anything so

we simply have fixed this and what the main problem causing this was is that

the settings on the cropping was set to crop and pan which is the main problem

that most people have with so the problem was is that it was set to ken

burns crop and pan and that's the problem most people have with this

cropping issue so simply all we have to do is just make sure that's on fit in

screen or fill in screen and then you should be good there and that's simply

yet that's how you can stop the zooming in and out in the Kinemaster video

editing app but if you want to know how to become a pro at editing in Kinemaster make sure you're subscribed to the channel because we do new videos every

single Wednesday showing you how to edit in Kinemaster I want to thank you for

watching until the very end of this video and I'll see you in the next video

Red Dead Redemption 2 Online - How To Win More Races - Duration: 7:54.

what you guys and welcome to another Red Dead Redemption 2 online video

today I'm gonna show you exactly how to win more races on Red Dead Redemption 2

it's not something that's really profitable at this moment you're getting

around about three to four dollars per race you're getting like 150 XP and then

like one gold nugget every time you win a race that's winning not losing so it's

not really that profitable but I'm hoping with the new update coming this

week or next week according to Rockstar that races you'll get at least five

dollars for winning and at least five gold nuggets for winning as well now what I'm

about to show you will not give you a definite win every time it still comes

down to a bit of skill but it is a strategy that I have picked up just for

racing so so much and it's been working really really well for me there's been

days where I've only done three races and I've won three times like I really

feel like I've got to grips with the racing system in Red Dead Redemption 2

there are two different races in Red Dead Redemption 2 you've got the normal

circuit one which you have to go through each checkpoint as a sort of group pretty

much and just go run the circuit like that the other one is there are a bunch

of different checkpoints located in the different areas and you can pick which

checkpoint you want to go to first and it's completely up to you and people

just immediately disperse with the circuit the first thing I do is I wait

as soon as it goes three two one go I actually wait everyone seems to sort of

go off and ride their horses as quickly down the straight and normally at the

end you've got a left or right turn it doesn't carry on going straight it's

always a left or right turn and that is when people just get taken out so to

avoid that the first thing I do is I just let everyone else go watch them

get taken out and then I just follow in behind at that point or maybe like third

or fourth which is actually pretty decent considering I voted like I

wanted to go last in the first place so that's the first thing I do the second

thing I do is try to avoid any sort of conflict now what I do is if someone if

I'm riding and then someone comes up alongside me what will happen is I will

press the R1 button or RB depending on which console

you're on and I would just drop back and if I've got a gun that's when I start

shooting I will only do this or a situation if I have a gun on top of that

if there's more than just one person trying to attack me I'll drop back let

them fight it out amount of times that yet again people just go into each other and

then take each other out another point to make about conflict is if you don't

have a weapon a lot of time people start spamming B in which you can start

hitting your opponent don't do that there is actually a weak point in the

front of the horse if you just go and cut across him what will happen is your

opponent will be taken out you'll see it like it's you're crashing into someone

out like a t-junction or something like that and they'll just take the other person out

it is so much quicker than spamming B if you used to just spam B what it'll do

is it'll take around about three to four hits for you to actually take out your

opponent on top of that your opponent is gonna be spam and be trying

to get you so you're gonna at least lose maybe a half maybe three-quarters of

your health if they are a good player so to avoid all of that completely what you

do is just cut across your opponent and they'll immediately be taken out the

last thing with these types of races and it kind of applies to the other race is

if you pick up a weapon aim for the head because it's just a one-shot kill or aim

for the horse the horse is a much bigger target and it's a lot easier to hit but

it also means if you take down a horse the horse will flop and then the player

will stand up for a bit and it actually adds as a couple extra seconds before

they can actually respawn which it just makes them just in a worse sort of

situation obviously getting taken out is a bad situation anyway but just get in

your horse taken out having to wait a few extra seconds just before you can

respawn is even worse compared to if you just got shot in the head you can

respawn immediately just like that so that is just a little tip there also

don't ever look behind to try and shoot people behind you always focus on people

ahead of you if there is someone behind you and you know they've got a gun just

keep on going in and out in and out just sort of snaking it along the track

eventually they'll catch up with you which means you're then behind and it

actually puts you in a better position for

to shoot them that's why I keep on saying if you get into a position where

you're in conflict press R1 or RB to drop back and then start shooting at

your opponent or just cut them up like I said earlier okay going on to the races

where you can just run randomly round the track to pick up different

checkpoints and it's the first one that collects all of them and then goes to

the finish line first wins with these type of ones what I normally do is I go

all the way I collect all the checkpoints around the outside and then

I start doing it in the middle it does mean in the first say minute or so of

the race it will look like you've picked up three checkpoints and a person out

and first has collected maybe five or six but in the end it ends up you winning

what happens is the majority of people go straight to the middle I don't know

why this is but it always seems to be a thing a good example of this is the

saint-denis race you start on the train tracks and what you can do is you can go

as you start you run out the train tracks

oh I'm sorry the train station go left and you can weave in and out of

different buildings a place where the butchers are weave in between that and

you can collect quite a few different checkpoints and you've only just done

the outside whereas normally people go left follow with you at first and then

they just go into the city collect all those and then they leave the last

checkpoint say miles away from the finish line and have to run all the way

there to run all the way back and that is where you lose time whereas going all

the way around the outside treating it like a massive circle and then slowly going

in you will collect the last checkpoint which will be metres away from the

finish line and with these races there is always a checkpoint right beside the

finish line so always remember that also check your mini-map because a lot of

different situation especially we're saint denis and if you're gonna go any sort of

place where there's tight corners what will happen is someone will run round

the corner as you go around the corner and then you'll just collide and then

you'll both be taken out it just loses a few extra seconds to avoid them what I

do I just slow down I have no faith in my opponent slowing down so I'm gonna

slow down let him go and come corner if I have a gun I'll shoot him

and then I'll carry on going if I don't have a gun

just learn past and carry on going round because whilst he's riding it's gonna be

a lot harder for him to go around the corner control his horse a constant

speed aim for me shoot me and kill me first time by getting a headshot

it's a lot harder whereas if I'm standing still i can just aim my gun where

I think he's gonna be tracked shoot easier or wait for him to go past and

then just carry on going around just so he doesn't disrupt me because normally

I'm gonna be in top three we're at that person I don't have a clue where he's

gonna be so he could just take me out and like he might be last full for all I

know so I don't want to be taken out by that because it ruins my chances and

it's not even like I'm competing against him so it's kind of one of those I just

avoid the situation completely anyway guys those are a few tips that have been

helping me win a lot more races in Red Dead Redemption 2 hope you guys did enjoy

he did enjoy it don't forget to leave a like and subscribe but for now I'm going, so see ya.

We believe that children and youth of military families

and others serving our country deserve our very best.

think about the Department of Defense

and military child and youth, and why would you?

There's a softer side of the Department of Defense

To see the smiles on their faces were very rewarding

and then for parents to come up to me after the clinics

and say, this is awesome that the kids

have this opportunity to be able to participate

in these type of sports.

within the program and I think anyone leaving college

Happy to be Alive, Wasting Time, and A Son's Assitance - Duration: 7:33.

(upbeat music)

- [Frank] Sabrina Fisher.

- Good morning, Your Honor.

- Good morning, Sabrina.

What are you so happy about?

- To be alive.

- That's a good answer, Inspector Quinn.

It's a good answer.

You know why that's a good answer, Inspector Quinn?

Seriously.

If you talk to anyone who is ill

and they're quite ill, they all say the same thing.

They say, "Enjoy life, it's a precious gift."

- That's right.

- And I think an awful lot of us just take it for granted.

We get up in the morning, we feel good, we go on with our,

and we don't really stop and smell the roses,

and say this is a precious gift, life is a precious gift.

- Exactly. - That was a great answer.

- 100%, it's happened to me so that's why it's my answer.

- Well, you had a great answer on that.

- Yeah. (laughs) I'm not sure what the answer's

gonna be on the parking ticket.

- [Sabrina] All right.

- All right, you're here for parking in a prohibited area.

- [Sabrina] Yep.

- On Wayland and Waterman Streets.

What do you wanna tell me about that?

- So, I've been helping the new Verizon store,

on that corner, open up, since November.

And I came out one night after helping 'em out

and I had a ticket on the car,

but I've parked in the same exact place

for at least three months now,

so I was confused as to why I even had the ticket.

So, I was like, maybe it's a new parking person,

so I just took about four pictures,

and I said that I would just come to court, and--

- Show them to Inspector Quinn, please.

Explain to him what you're trying to prove.

- That, basically, there's no sign.

- That there's no sign.

- That's basically what she's trying to prove.

- [Sabrina] Yeah, there's no sign.

- I can see, Your Honor, the first photo

there is a sign, I mean there is a pole

with no sign located on it, and.

That's probably the best photo for you, Your Honor, to view.

- Oh, I see it, okay.

Well, Sabrina, there's a parking pole. (chuckles)

- Yeah, right, it's just a pole and that's why

I've been parking there for, like three months,

so I was like, ah.

- In front of the pole.

- [Sabrina] Yeah.

- How long did it take you to take the sign down?

(Sabrina and Quinn laughing)

How d'you work that out?

- I wish I was that clever but it wasn't there,

it hasn't been there since day one.

- You sure you didn't have a screwdriver

and a stepladder in the back of your car?

- I have a screwdriver in my car but not a stepladder.

One without the other.

- If you were parking there for three months,

you didn't say I'm gonna be here for three months,

maybe I can take this sign down.

- (laughing) No.

- You didn't do that, huh?

Okay, well, based on the photographic evidence

the matter will be dismissed.

Good luck to you.

- Thank you.

(upbeat music)

- [Lady] Morning.

- You have an expired meter.

- So, this is the story.

At 9:40, I parked on Waterman Street,

and there were two broken meters,

and I asked the parking people, "Can I park here?"

And they said, "Sure, but only two hours."

I fed that meter, and then I came back at an hour later

and had a ticket for re-feeding the meter.

- Was there a time on the meter?

- Oh, yeah, yeah, there was another two hours,

but they said, "You can't re-feed it."

I'm like, "I didn't re-feed it."

So, I'm just complaining, sorry.

I'm wasting your time, it's not right.

- You're not wasting my time.

- Good, thank you.

- Trust me, there are some people in here who waste my time,

you are not wasting my time.

- [Lady] Thank you.

- You don't know what wasting time is. (laughs)

All right, the matter is dismissed.

- Thank you.

- [Frank] Good luck.

- You heard the judge.

"There are people around here who waste my time."

I'm not gonna lie to you, that gets my Irish up.

Who's wasting the judge's time?

Not me.

The judge and I are like Butch and Sundance.

Well, actually, we are the opposite of Butch and Sundance,

they were criminals.

We're more like Crockett and Tubbs.

Actually, we're not like them at all.

Starsky and Hutch.

Johnny and Ed, that's it, nailed it!

- All right, lets see we got,

one, two, three, four, we need four pairs of cuffs.

(laughing)

How many cuffs, are you prepared?

- [Inspector Quinn] We'll have to borrow yours today, Judge.

- Okay, what's the babies name?

- [Man And Woman] Jasmine.

- Oh, Jasmine, and this guy?

- [Both] Arthur.

- [Man] He's the third.

- How old are you?

- Seven. - Get up here.

Tell us now, your full name.

- [Arthur] Arthur Harold Fourteen the Third.

- Wow, and where do you go to school?

- Saylesville Elementary.

- Why aren't you in school this morning?

- Because I had to go here.

(crowd laughing)

- What, were you driving the car?

- (laughing) No!

- Were you in the car?

- [Arthur] Yes!

- Well, then, if you were in the car

then you're a witness so I'm gonna need your help, okay?

- [Woman] You were in school when it happened,

tell him you were in the car this morning.

- Do you wanna help me on this?

Hm, do you wanna help me?

I'm gonna ask you, was there an emergency

when this car was parked?

- (laughing) No.

- There wasn't an emergency.

Well, your parents are being charged during an emergency

so, since there wasn't an emergency,

does that mean I should give them the full fine?

- [Arthur] (laughing) No.

(crowd laughing) - No?

Oh, well, lets see what you had,

I want you to listen 'cause I need some help, okay?

- Okay.

- All right.

What do you wanna tell me about this?

- The tree I pulled up next to said no parking

this side of the road, they're doing street sweeping,

so I said, oh, I'll move to the other side of the road.

- There was a sign on the tree?

- [Woman] A little paper sign on the tree.

- Paper sign on the tree. - Was hand written.

- [Frank] Okay, all right.

- Like, it was official paper but filled in by hand.

- [Frank] All right, I got it, I got it, I got it.

- So I pulled across to the other side of the road

and I pulled up to a space where the pole with the--

- All right, all right.

- [Woman] Two hour parking--

- There was an event going on

and the city put up temporary signs saying no parking.

- Yeah. - Okay, I got it.

- Yeah, on the left side, I had seen it,

on the right-hand side, I didn't see it.

- I got it!

- [Woman] Oh, I see.

(breathing out heavily)

- All right, here's the deal.

The city put up temporary signs, right?

They're paper signs and they put them on poles and trees.

And, as a result of that,

the city then gave your mother a ticket for $100.

So, now I have three choices, I'm gonna mark 'em down here.

Choice one is I can fine your mom $100.

You see that?

Choice two is I could probably say

I'm gonna reduce the fine to $30.

Or choice three is I can dismiss the case.

So, what, I'm really stuck on this

'cause I'm not really sure what to do.

So, what should I do?

One, two, or three?

- Three. - Three?

(crowd laughing)

(sighs heavily)

All right, the issue is, actually, he's pretty smart.

The issue is the city puts up temporary signs,

they're paper signs that really--

- They're tiny.

- Sometimes can be very misleading.

We condition people to look for signs

that are up eight feet, and that's what we do.

And they put these temporary signs up

for events that are going on.

So, I agree with my assistant here,

that the matter should be dismissed.

- Thank you.

- The matter is dismissed.

...And I speak fast so I apologize but I want to get through it and I'm sort of

Italian not really in this country but in America I qualify as Italian. We

should teach during writing because writer precedes director when describing

a filmmaker skills and we allow people to forget that in class and I don't like

that. When you remember a film to your friends you do not speak of camera

angles. You speak of dialogue you speak of the

lines that you repeat with your friends so the writer is the person that we

should credit I believe with most of the work and if

you're studying to be a screenwriter how can you forget the names of the people

who write your films? I want to say or even don't you to the auteur theory

because I think it's nonsense because it is not the director it is the writer who

comes up with it and I want to get rid of disrespect to writers which has

existed forever
