Waching daily Dec 5 2018

What's up guys Gavin here and in this video we're gonna talk about one of the

biggest reasons why people get held back and are not able to achieve what they

want stay tuned let's go

alright guys so I learned this concept from why it would small who is probably

one of the best teachers of neuro linguistic programming on the planet one

of the best teachers of teaching you how to learn how to learn or what he also

calls learn how to learn how to learn which is called generative learning

which means you can generate your own ability to learn faster and process

information and become wise which is almost mind-blowing when you really

think about the concept because the school we were never taught that we were

taught one of the lowest levels which he talks about which is rote learning which

is memorization and regurgitation in and of itself and that's what most of the

education system teaches but he talked about this one concept which is what he

believes is holding most people back from achieving the things they want so

he's talking to one of his friends and his friends like Wyatt you do all this

NLP why don't you help me with some of the problems in my life why don't you

help me achieve what I want in my life and he says okay great what do you want

and they'd be like Oh awesome you're gonna help me

he said no what do you want and they would say well I want this this and this

and he's like oh great no problem all you have to do is this this and this if

you want to achieve those things just do this this and this and they'd say but

Wyatt I can't do that and he'd say well why not and they'd say because that

wouldn't be me and he said of course of course that wouldn't be you that's what

change is about becoming not you if you want your life to change you're gonna

have to do things that you've never done you're gonna have to become somebody who

doesn't currently get the things that you have right the person that you

currently are the actions you're taking the behaviors all of the things have

accumulated into getting you to where you are now that's not gonna get you to

the things that you want most likely because the reason why you're at where

you are at right now is because of who you currently are and who you have been

in the past and there's a lot of talking know these days about you'll be your

authentic self and just be you and yeah I believe that right live live through

who you think you are in your gut and what your heart says and go after the

things that you want but that doesn't mean don't do things different to get

different results so a lot of times people will get stuck in their past

identity and think living authentically is just being their past and being their

present self that's not necessarily what it is if you have a dream of what you

want in the future you actually have to become a different version of you now

here's the biggest problem here's where it gets a little bit deeper so the

biggest reason why people get stuck in you know the same position in life and

have a hard time evolving and moving forward is because of who they believe

their identity to be but even more insidious is they get stuck there

because of what everyone around them thinks their identity is and that causes

them to every time they try to step outside and try something new or try to

start a business everyone around them starts going hey you that's a kind of

crazy idea are you sure you can do that are you sure you're gonna be able to do

the business I don't know if that's gonna be possible I don't know if that's

for you and they're gonna start thinking you're a bit crazy because you're

stepping outside of the identity of who they believe you are and if you have

enough people around you your friends your family all those people who are

trying to keep you in your identity you're gonna have a really hard time

evolving and becoming not you so you're gonna be actually trapped in that

identity even worse if you start to gain some success in these areas or if you're

like moving into that and they see you evolving and growing they're actually

gonna unconsciously try to kind of tear you down to bring you back because just

like the crabs in a bucket if a crabs tries to climb out of the bucket the

other one grabs it and pulls it back in if the other one tries to climb up the

other one grabs it back in human beings are very similar if you have a bunch of

friends and if there's like five friends and one of them starts to like you know

succeed and break out of the crowd they're gonna try to figure out like oh

we got to get him out to come drink more with us we got to get him to party more

oh he's teach changing man he's changing what's wrong Bubba and they're gonna

start to try to tear him down to bring him back so he stays in the group not

because they don't want him to succeed but because they feel less when you are

succeeding so that's one piece of a your identity is keeping your trap so

how I've been able to break free from this over the years is what Y it would

small says becoming systematically outrageous and you're gonna have to

start to do this kind of one thing at a time to the point where you are free and

your identity is free how do you do this well to become systematically outrageous

you have to start to do some things are a little bit outside of your comfort

zone that are a little bit outside of you so I started doing yoga then I would

start to do some weird ecstatic dance and then I would start to do travel here

and do this and do that and people eventually got to a point where they

think my identity is someone who's always doing a bunch of crazy different

things so now nobody ever like questions when I'm doing something weird or out of

the ordinary because everything is out of the ordinary everything is different

so I've been able to free my identity so people can see that that's Who I am I am

just someone who does whatever the heck they want whenever they want to do it

with who I want to do it with however much I want to do it that is my identity

but if your identity is everyday going and doing the same routine hanging out

with the same people bla bla bla bla bla then you get to the

point where if you step outside of that they're gonna ask you why you've been a

little weird today what's going on you should probably come back to the dark

side come back you know they're gonna be scared and then they're gonna start to

say I don't know if you should go after that business idea I don't know if you

should travel there I don't know if you that's not really you man

if you're stuck there it's gonna be really hard to break free and become

more than you currently are but you have to ask yourself are your dreams and that

movie and that vision of what you truly want your life to look like is it worth

it is it worth stepping stepping outside of these comfort zones to achieve that

life is it worth sacrificing going out with your friends as much is it worth

trying something new and testing out some new things is it worth getting

outside your comfort zone along the way is are all those things worth it is your

dream big enough or is it easier to just stay comfortable and stay who you are I

really believe in becoming not you becoming systematically outrageous

becoming a little bit crazy so you can actually achieve anything you want you

can do anything you want you can be whoever you want that's

to me a much more exciting adventurous way to live in this world so guys if you

like this video like comment subscribe hit that Bell notification gonna be

dropping a lot more of these I'm gonna try to get like 4 videos out a week if I

can and I'm gonna keep bringing this content to you guys that's helped me so

much over my life every piece of content that I share with you at one point was

like a lightbulb epiphany moment like wow that makes so much sense

if I start to apply this in my life I'm gonna be able to live in these crazy

Bali villas with amazing people having awesome businesses traveling around the

world doing all these cool stuff I saw that vision before even though my

identity wasn't that I slowly one step at a time started breaking free and now

I can do do what I want when I want with who I want however much I want and

contribute to the world and give as much value as I possibly can and that's where

I wanted to be and that's where I am I want you to be there too and come along

for the journey that's it for the video guys we'll talk soon peace

MEDIC! A Team Fortress 2 Song - Random Encounters [Synthesia Piano Tutorial] - Duration: 4:27.

There's a certain hellish realm

Reserved for everyone who yells

They need the medic!

Every evening while I sleep,

While I'm busy counting sheep,

They all bleat 'MEDIC'!

While I'm eating, while I'm reading, or excreting on the John...

There's no hiding from the screaming in my mind!

There's no place in heaven high

Where I can crawl away and die,

The only real solution's

Absolutely homicide!

All the wounds I've ever sealed,

And the boo-boos that I've healed...

I'm a changed medic!

Now these injuries can stay

While I blow some noobs away!

Beware the medic!

The soldier and the sniper, I'm afraid they've not got long...!

The demoman and pyro quickly fade!

And the medic will just laugh

While the heavy's torn in half

By the medic and his bonesaw's gruesome blade!

Now the sniper has Jars of Jarate--

Clear glass bottles he fills with his piss.

When he hits all his foes, he crits all of his blows!

He has that...

I have this!

The engineer has electronics,

And the spy's got disguises and tricks!

And the pyro's insane!

(Eh, the scout's kind of lame...)

They do that...

I do this!

I do this.

If you'd like a reason why

My entire team should die!

Then play the medic!

Well my friends, the doctor's out...

Of his whole mind! So go on, shout!

You'll get no medic!

I don't care about points or payloads

Only psychopathic sprees.

Nor which color team you're playing,

RED or BLU!

And if I see just one more hat,

I'll tear your insides out like that!

Like Saxton Hale on a safari at the zoo!

I'm a physician on a mission

And contrition's not my style!

Am I a monster or a mann?

I cannot say!

All I know is that my über's

locked and loaded like a trooper!

Medicare's

One shot away!

You think I've arrived bearing safety,

But I come not with peace, but a sword!

There's a high price to pay

For the health I've purveyed!

All I do,

You've ignored!

All I do,

I'm Abhored!

I once was a man who was valiantly healing

Everyone crying, 'MEDIC!'

I once healed a spy who then knifed me goodbye!

That's when I learned to just

Let people die!

Let them die!

Leave the demoman for dead!

Let the heavy fill with lead!

Meet the new Medic!

May the pyro be enflamed!

May you loath this wretched game

Without the medic!

May your papers all be stolen!

Your intelligence be lost!

May your sanviches be full of rancid meat!

And the first fool that I hear

Who calls for medic

Gets their rear rent surgically...!

By me,

Your friendly PH.D.

The Medic.

You and Me - a TF2 song

Avoidance and Anxiety // Changing the way you see it - Duration: 8:39.

- I had an interesting realization not too long ago

when I was thinking about the nature of avoidance.

I really wanted to share it with you today

because it really made me see it in a new way.

Sometimes just this little perspective shift

can really open up a whole new world of possibility for you.

So firstly, let me say that about,

oh my gosh I'm getting so old,

about 15 years ago I went on a 21 day vow of silence

and I started to understand as I sat with my mind

that (laughs) there was so much more madness in my mind

than I thought.

The more still I became, the more mad my mind got.

And it was like every single voice

that I ever tried to run from was coming to me.

And each and every voice in my head

that had ever clashed were like a war within.

And if you haven't yet watched my video

about the tail of the two wolves,

I'll link it up top or below this video

so that you can watch that

'cause it's a really powerful tale

that perfectly illustrates this,

but I had these two aspects of my mind,

the part of me that was like, you're not good enough,

you're not smart enough,

who are you to think that you can help people,

who are you to think that you can change the world?

Who are you?

You need to be better.

You can't change people or help people

the way you are right now. I had that voice in my head

and then I had the voice in my head like,

you can do it.

You're amazing, you were born for a reason.

You are capable of making any dream a reality

and these two voices were literally colliding in my mind.

And I'll never forget that on day seven of the meditation,

of the vow of silence, my last thought was,

oh my God, my parents and my family,

I've literally, finally lost my mind,

'cause for those of you who know

I suffered for years with depression and anxiety.

And I literally thought in that moment,

oh my gosh, I've really done it this time.

I've officially lost my mind

and my family is gonna have to

come and get me from a Thai mental institution.

I was literally that disconnected from reality

and I was really spiraling downward.

It was really interesting because in that moment

I focused on my breath and I went very, very deep

within my heart and I just had to focus on my breath

and get into my body.

Now what happened through that experience

was nothing short of miraculous.

All of a sudden, like getting into my body,

it sounds crazy, but it started really vibrating

on a level that I could feel every single cell

of my being vibrate.

And all of a sudden for the first time in my life,

my mind stopped.

The chatter stopped

and I experienced what I later learned,

Eckhart Tolle calls the now or pure presence.

I didn't stay there,

it was just a moment oIdipped into infinity,

or a moment, I think it was about an hour

where I really felt like pure presence

and finally the madness in my mind evaded

and I truly realized that we are not the thoughts we think.

We are not the stories we tell ourselves,

whether we tell ourselves a story about being the victim

or the victor, we are really neither.

We are the entirety of the space

that contains those stories.

And so that was a really powerful experience for me

that made me realize that my entire life

I had traveled the world for two years on my own

trying to run away from my problems,

trying to run away from my mind,

trying to create a solution by looking without

but really what I needed to do

and it sounds cliche was actually go within.

And I realized that each and every moment of pain

that I had ever, ever tried to run from

was really just begging for me to be with.

It was begging me for me

to listen to the wounded person inside,

to the madness of my mind

so that I could be with it long enough

for me to realize that it wasn't me.

And so in that moment I realized that through being

with my pain it actually became my greatest power

and it actually became the greatest source of presence

that I had ever experienced

and once I truly sat with those voices

and gave them space,

I felt emancipation that I had never felt before.

And it's truly what Bob Marley says.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.

None but ourselves can free our minds.

And that's what I truly began to realize.

So here's what I realized when I started thinking

about avoidance the other day,

because I started to understand that

our nature of avoidance and our mind

is actually trying to fill a void.

And I'm going to say that again

because it's really, really powerful.

When we are going into avoidance or addictions,

whether it be to negative thinking,

whether it be hypochondria,

whether it be to smoking, drinking,

toxic relationships, whatever the distraction may be,

overeating, working out too much,

it can even be like a quote on quote positive thing,

all of these things, even if something

can be good in moderation,

it can also in obsession become a problem.

And so what I started to realize is that

because so many of us aren't comfortable

with the nature of our mind

and so many of us are trying to run from our thoughts,

I was drastic, I came to Australia and Thailand

to get away from my thoughts,

but we all are trying to fill the void.

We are all avoiding and when we are creating

and placing something into our void by our addictions,

then we are really avoiding the space and the work

to actually go within and just be with our pain.

Now I know that sounds challenging

because people are like, how can I be with my pain?

And that looks different for everyone.

Sometimes that just looks like being with it, being angry.

If you're angry, be angry.

Anger isn't a bad emotion as long as we channel it

in a healthy way.

Jealousy isn't even a bad emotion

as long as we realize that it's an indication

of what we desire, not necessarily that something

that needs to be projected on the other person.

And so we can either, for example, if you're angry,

go out in the middle of a forest and scream.

Scream into your pillow.

Channel it in a healthy way

because when we give ourselves the permission

to feel our pain, emotions become emotion

and they move through us.

It's when we deny them that they get stuck

and we constantly go into this avoidance.

We never actually address the true issue that's within.

And those are truly the things

that holds the gems within.

That's when the pain becomes our power.

That's when the suffering becomes our salvation.

And when I say pain, I don't mean you need to be

in deep states of depression,

although that can work for this as well,

but I also think that overwhelm and stress

and being a workaholic and all of these different things

are also a source of suffering.

And I think that the more we're disconnected from ourself

and seeking stuff outside of ourselves,

the more we are always gonna be

disconnected from our purpose,

the more we're always gonna feel dissatisfaction,

no matter how much money we have.

No matter how many friends we have.

Look at people like Robin Williams and Avicii

and all of these incredible people

who on the outside have everything that you could ever want,

but who still struggle.

And so let's be real about where we're at.

There's nothing wrong with feeling pain.

There's nothing wrong with having a little bit negativity

in your mind, but it becomes a very challenging thing

when we can't address it

and it's actually what's holding us back

from actually achieving our success.

It's actually what's holding us back

from showing up more powerfully in the world.

Because when you truly love the unlovable within yourself

you become unstoppable.

You wouldn't be scared like me right now

to be filming this video

in front of tons of people on the beach.

You wouldn't be scared to step out and share your message

or tell the person that you love that you love them

or feel fear around embracing that part of yourself

that you're feeling fear around doing.

And so I hope this viceo served you today.

And let me know in the comments below

that you are committed just even one day

to being with your pain rather than filling the void,

rather than avoiding it.

So let me know in the comments below.

Say, amen if you're down with doing that

and I really hope, again, you like this video

and if you did, give it a little like,

give it a subscribe

and hit the notifications tab

'cause I'm doing videos here every single Wednesday

to help you unleash the success within.

So have an amazing day guys and we'll speak soon.

Take care.

Hi guys I just

came from the gym and I'm running a bit late for a meeting but first I want to show you a product that I have

been using on Instagram lately

because I can't look like this

The product that celebrities and other male influences do not want you to know about

This is a "dry spray" so let me be clear. It's not a dry shampoo that you borrow from a girlfriend this is more

of a texture and volume. It won't smell and it won't give you the gray dusty hair

that dry shampoo actually can give you. This is really difficult without a mirror

I usually start by splitting my hair and I apply into the roots

As you can see, there's a huge difference between before appling the product now

I have a really bright glare right there thats really annoying

also if you are losing your hair like most guys, this product will actually

give you the impression that you have more hair than you have - I call it "hair on a can".. and that glare is super annoying

Can you do something about that? Thank you

So swipe up (link below) and get one of these cans because as a guy, I can tell you this will save you so much time

and

yeah it will save your life sometimes

The Importance of Policies in Your Massage Practice - Duration: 9:45.

Hey guys!

Savanna Bell here with My Massage World and in this week's video we're talking policies;

what policies to have and why you need to always enforce them.

Policies are crucial to a business.

They're going to set boundaries for what you as a business should expect from your

clients, and what those clients can expect from you.

First, we're going to look at the types of policies you really need to have for your

massage practice, and a few that you may want to put into place, but aren't as necessary.

You can word these policies however you like, but take the time to sit down and work these

out in detail if you haven't already.

It will save you so much time and stress in the long run!

So first, those must-have policies will need to cover these subjects…

Cancellations.

This is a big one.

What's the time frame they can cancel in with no repercussions, and what happens if

they don't give you enough time.

So let's say you have a 24 hour cancellation notice policy, what needs to also be stated

is how much of that service fee they're responsible for if they cancel less than 24

hours before their appointment.

Late Arrivals / No Shows How long before their appointment should they

arrive?

What happens if they're late?

This really depends on how you operate your day-to-day practice, how much time you give

yourself between clients, etc.

Most places, it's customary that if a client is late they lose that time and you still

end at the scheduled time, especially if they're 15 minutes late or more.

Beyond 15-20 minutes, depending on the time of the service, many places will simply say

you've forfeited the appointment.

The choice is yours.

As for no-shows, what do you need to enforce to discourage this?

One no-show with no consequence and then a credit card is required to hold all future

appointments?

Are they required to pay the full service fee if they miss?

That stuff is usually kind of standard, but you have to do what you feel is right of course.

Inappropriate Behavior / Right to Refuse Service / Client Termination

These all kind of go hand-in-hand so you may have one policy, or you may separate this

type of thing out.

It just depends on the specifics of your business.

But this is definitely needed as we in this industry often have to deal with those who

have some not-so-professional requests for massage therapists.

So what's your policy around this?

If they say or do anything that makes you uncomfortable, or overtly request any inappropriate

actions, you have the right to end the session, they are required to pay in full, and they're

banned from your establishment?

You've got to figure out what works for you.

One note…be careful how you word this, as any time you use the word 'sexual' or

anything like that, even in reference to the fact that you DON'T offer that, those lovely

search engines may still pick that up and put your website in a search meant for something

else.

So just be mindful of that when you're working up the wording for this particular policy

on your website.

You also may want to include something about simply your right to refuse service and terminate

a client; this could be in regard to someone impaired due to drug, alcohol, or prescription

use, refusal to follow other policies, lack of respect shown toward you or your staff,

or anything of that nature.

Any reason you may flat out refuse to see someone.

And you can terminate someone as a client for any of these reasons too.

You have that right, as long as it's not discriminatory in nature, of course.

Refunds / Exchanges / Transfers This is especially important if you sell retail,

but if you offer packages or have a membership program, this is also an important part to

include in the terms you need to set down for those specific setups.

So, what qualifies someone for a refund?

Can they exchange one product for another?

What if it's been used?

How much?

Things like that.

Can they transfer their package or membership to a friend, or even split it with someone

else?

All of these things need to be considered and laid out in detail.

Gift Certificates If you sell gift certificates, you'll need

a policy concerning when they expire, but also concerning refunds, exchanges, transfers,

etc. just like I mentioned a minute ago.

Can they get a refund for cash or is it exchange only?

Can someone who received a gift certificate let someone else use it?

If the certificate was for a specific service, can they pick something else instead?

All of that kind of stuff has to be considered and put into your policy.

On this note, be sure to check with your state regarding expiration dates for gift certificates!

This is not something you arbitrarily decide, but is a state and federal law that you have

to abide by.

Usually it's 2-5 years that a gift certificate has to be honored, but some states don't

allow an expiration at all.

Check with your state to be sure you're following the law here!

Returned Checks If you take checks, it's imperative that

you have a policy about returned or bounced checks.

What's the fee you will charge if they bounce a check?

How do you expect payment?

What timeframe do they have to pay the amount plus the returned check fee?

What's your policy on taking checks from that person after that?

All of this needs to be laid out.

Now, for those policies you may want to have, but aren't necessarily as important…

A Cell Phone Policy.

So do you require cell phones to be put away, on silent, or do you even care?

An Appointment Booking / Credit Card Holding Policy

You may require a phone consultation before they can book an appointment, or you may require

a credit card to hold any appointment, or anything along those lines.

If you have some requirements around booking an appointment, you'll need to have those

spelled out for clients.

Third Party Discount Site Policies If you use anything like Groupon or the like,

you'll want to have some policies laid out.

Things like, they must present their voucher at the time of service, that they're only

to be used for a service, not gift certificates, things like that.

And if you have a plan on getting these clients to work their way up to paying full-price,

have that laid out as well.

So maybe you honor a discount schedule that increases by $10 or something for each of

their next 4 visits until they're at the full price…or whatever it may be.

I've just seen some therapists do that and it works well for transitioning clients from

Groupon to full-paying.

So if you do that sort of thing, this is where you can lay that for them.

And last but not least…Age Requirements This can be specifically for those receiving

services as well as those who are allowed in the establishment period.

So you may not work on any minors…say that.

No one under 18 is allowed to book a service.

Or you'll need to lay out that you require a parent to be present in the room the entire

session if you do work on minors.

Or you may have a no children policy, so no one under the age of 18 or maybe 16 or whatever

you decide, is allowed to be in your establishment.

I've heard a lot of therapists complain of a client bringing a kid to sit out in the

waiting room, who was loud the entire time and disturbed other guests.

If you're not okay with that, spell it out in a policy.

So do those policies make sense?

You have to figure out exactly what you want included in each of these.

I can't tell you what's going to be best for your massage practice, so do what's

right for you.

And be sure you have these policies clearly stated on your website, referenced in your

emails, and the necessary ones mentioned again in your reminder calls.

Now, some of you may be asking, is it really necessary to have all of these?

Most of them, yes…absolutely necessary.

You have a business, right?

Not a hobby?

So treat it as such.

Give your business and yourself the respect you each deserve and set your boundaries.

Figure out what you will and will not tolerate, and write your policies around that.

And don't feel like these have to stay forever.

Through changes in your business and just specific experiences, you may tweak these

policies over time.

That's perfectly fine.

But have them!

And here's the thing, for the absolute majority, and I mean 99.9999% of the time, these should

be strictly enforced.

Don't let your policies waiver or they're nothing more than a suggestion.

Now I'm not cold-hearted, I understand stuff happens sometimes and good clients just mess

up, so if you, on a very rare occasion, really feel the need to bend a little on something,

ok.

For example, I had a client who was always on time, never missed, if she had to cancel

she gave plenty of notice, was always very respectful and sent a ton of clients my way.

When her mother and father were both very sick and in and out of the hospital before

they both passed, she, understandably was a bit of a mess and no-showed me twice.

Normally I would have enforced my policy and required payment for the second and a credit

card to hold future appointments, but for her specifically, the type of client she was

and the situation she was in, it did not bother me in the least to give her a bit more grace.

But that was a very very very rare occurrence.

The vast majority of the time, our policies need to be non-negotiable.

So please, for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, set your policies

and stick with them!

So, let me know, any policies I mentioned that you hadn't thought of that you'll

implement now?

Or does this reinforce what you're already doing?

Or if you've got a suggestion for another policy you think is important, let us know.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, so leave some feedback in the comments.

you

there's a brilliant analogy if you were able to see the picture it will make a

lot of sense essentially think that you want to build a car so one way to build

a car is to say let me make a wheel then let me make four wheels then let me make

a chassis then let me make seats then let me make an engine steering wheel and

so on right that's one way of building a car that's

the wrong way of doing it as a star instead what do you want to do is you

want to build a two-wheeler scooter so that somebody can ride on the scooter

move around then maybe you make it into a bike so now it has a motor and people

can move around fast and then you want to build a car so you want it to be

functional at each stage so that at each stage you are saying Here I am solving

your problem which is transportation moving from point A to point B and I am

doing it better and better whereas in the previous analogy where you have just

four wheels you can't do anything with it right so functionally you're not

solving anybody's problem so as a startups product you want to build it in

a series of small functional pieces where at each stage you're able to

deliver value to the customer

Copenhagen Travel Guide - Strøget - 13 places you might not have heard about - Duration: 14:05.

Hey! This is Strøget.

It's a big shopping/walkingstreet

in the center of Copenhagen.

We'll give our recommendations on

shopping, eating, souvenirs, public spaces,

and introduce a few local specialty stores.

As for food,

we'll focus on healthy eating options,

but not strictly limited to vegetarian or vegan options.

So, let's take a look. - Let's go!

To get to Strøget,

you need to go to Nørreport station.

When you walk out you'll see it right away.

One of the first things you'll bump into

are these traditional Danish hotdog stands.

These things are all over Copenhagen.

The one I like the most

is this particular one called "Hanegal".

Everything here is entirely organic.

You can choose between many different types of meat.

And even tofu, in your sausages.

A lot of what they serve here the traditional hotdog stands do not have.

We got ourselves a tofu sausage

with mashed root vegetables.

If you want variety in your hotdogs,

this is definitely the place to go.

You can also enjoy a nice soft drink.

Scurry hub is a decent place if you are on a budget.

It serves Thai food,

I wouldn't focus on whether it's authentic,

because what's more important is that

they serve decent quality food

at a reasonable price.

Even with a meat dish

you can get this generous portion of salad.

They do not have a wide menu

but they are really good at what they do.

The food tastes very balanced and fresh,

and there are also vegetarian/vegan options

like this green curry with vegetables.

Yum!

42Raw is a good place for gluten free and vegan options.

Although unlike what the name suggests,

raw food is not the only thing they sell.

I fell in love with this matcha latte made of soy milk,

it checked all the boxes for me.

Soybean.

I'm lactose intolerant so this is great.

It's so warm and it tastes a lot like soybean and matcha

and not much sugar, I really like it.

And I like the cup, it looks so nice.

Mm! - Yea riiiight?

There's a lot of green tea taste in there.

This time we ordered a truffle burger

made of truffle marinated mushrooms and truffle mayo.

We order a green bowel which has

avocado, broccoli, cucumber, spinach, cabbage, pesto

and AMAZING SAUCE!

I suck at this.

Well, No one is really good at it.

(Insane blender stealing the show)

It really taste like truffle.

It's really good.

Dayumn, Yeah,

really tastes like truffle a lot.

It's great, really juicy.

A healthy amount of garlic in here

I'm going to smell great.

I like that the broccoli is cooked,

I don't like raw broccoli.

Cooked broccoli is niiiiiice.

How did you get so much stuff?

Willpower.

Very fresh, and strong garlic taste.

It's better than I thought.

Oh, it's so nice.

Irma is a food centric supermarket,

a personal favourite of mine.

It has the unfortunate reputation of being overpriced,

but it's actually not.

I like to shop here especially for fruits and vegetables.

Kimberly is usually fixated on the strawberries,

a little too fixated if you ask me.

They also have a deli with tasty cheeses and hummus.

Eating out in Copenhagen every day can get quite expensive,

so if you have access to a kitchen while you are staying here,

definitely check this place out.

Helsemin is a store that could interest some of you health geeks out there.

It offers a wide variety of products

from organic skin/hair care products to healthy snacks and cooking supplies.

Especially check out this store if you live in a country outside of EU,

and you struggle to find good sources for clean food and safe health products.

I usually bring a bunch of supplements with me as souvenirs when I visit home.

One thing I like about this store is, it has a shelf for skincare raw materials,

essential oils, vitamin B serum and different kind of carrier oils.

They are made in Denmark.

Prices are also very affordable.

I think it is something worth checking out

because back in Hong Kong they are very pricey.

Try and check it out?

When a lot of people come to Europe, they'd want to buy some chocolate.

It's a very easy choice of souvenir.

In Denmark I do think they have their twist on it.

This is the chocolate store I like the most.

It's never really cheap but I think it's reasonable.

Also they have these coated almonds with different natural flavours

like lemon and mint.

It's just a thin coating on an almond so it's rather healthy.

It's not very heavy on the stomach, it's easy to finish,

so I think it's a pretty good souvenir.

You could also try their other stuff, but that's what I find most interesting.

This is a store for kitchenware called "Kunst og Køkkentøj", or "K.O.K".

That's a word play because the word "kok".

Yes, you may snicker

is "chef" in Danish, or "cook".

When I travel I like to look at how different cultures' kitchen looks like,

and how they prepare food.

Sometimes when you've tried a certain snack,

then when you look in a shop like this, then you're like.

"Oh, that is probably used to make that snack/dish."

That's very interesting to me.

If you find something you like to eat,

maybe it'll be cool to buy the tool so you can make it at home.

So I recommend to check it out.

When I was here the first few times,

I had a hard time buying souvenirs,

because it was hard to find something special.

But then I fell in love with this place that specialises in tea.

It was very interesting because it's not the tea that I'm used to in Asia.

Because when they are used to drinking tea sweet,

there will be different kinds of tea they would drink,

like herbal and fruits and berries.

There are three parts to this shop.

The first part is traditional looking,

where you can buy the blend you want and then pick a container.

Then there is this part, the gift shop,

where things are wrapped more prettily.

There's also a really nice tea room on the first floor.

I saw they also have high tea, snacks, chocolate and cookies,

and it smells really nice in there.

We were very excited to go there,

but apparently you need to book a table because it's very popular.

So we didn't go, but it smells really nice and I want to go soon.

I found this store when a friend was visiting me in Copenhagen.

It's not really a local business because the products are made in Russia.

It is kind of a chain store.

So why do I make this exception and introduce an international store here?

It's because I really like their concept.

They put a lot of effort into making organic skincare.

It's affordable but still in good quality.

They also have beautiful packaging so it's perfect for gifts and souvenirs.

Also, it gives a really nice shopping experience.

Sometimes they offer you some tea or juice.

One time I got offered a free facial and that was actually quite nice.

The facial was done inside the shop as well.

So it's really worth checking out.

Some of you might have seen a "Flying Tiger" store in another country.

It's a Danish store that sells all kinds of weird things at low prices.

So whether you are looking for some strange funny things to bring home,

or just want to have some fun check this place out.

We definitely had some fun in there.

You might also want to check out the store right across "Flying Tiger"

called "Søstrene Grene".

It sells pretty designer home products at reasonable prices.

I used to spend some time hanging out there after school.

This store is called "Handskerummet".

The name only suggests gloves,

but there are other things like belts and leather goods.

I wouldn't pretend to be an expert

but I bought my pair of gloves here and I really like them.

Since I have very small hands it's really hard to find ...woh.

It's really hard to find gloves that fit me.

I also think the prices aren't too bad.

They're pretty cool.

They are not too thick.

Let me show you.

(Oops) Is that...? No, don't. I'm sorry.

Magasin is typical department store.

Clothes, jewelery, skincare products, all that jazz.

But downstairs they have a really interesting food market.

Here you can get all sorts of wines, liquors, seafood.

The best Denmark has to offer in the best possible versions.

You can even get some pre-cooked traditional Danish dishes.

Like fish cakes with remoulade.

Something nice about this area is that you get a lot of tasters

but today they actually have a give away.

So we got some ginger ales.

They recommend mixing it with smoky liquors

like some gins or burbon whisky.

Illum is another shopping mall located rather close to Magasin

but it focuses more on high end produces

and you'll find the popular high end fashion brands here.

But even if you are not interested in shopping

you might still want to pay a visit here

because there is a nice view on the roof top.

You can enjoy some coffee or a seafood tower

in one of the restaurants or cafes

while you look over Strøget and enjoy the atmosphere.

Noice!

This is our last destination for today.

We're in a coffee shop called "Original Coffee".

Since we're not big coffee drinkers, we ordered a juice.

It's a vegetable juice.

Pumpkin, carrot, apple, pear, orange and ginger.

Looks good!

Pumpkins should be in season now since it's Autumn.

That's the end of our trip today.

It's a really cool view up here even if you're not into department stores

it's definitely worth checking out Illum's rooftop.

Coincidentally someone is playing music downstairs, very romantic.

It's almost too good. A little suspicious.

For now, thanks for watching and see you next time!
