Don't worry!
We won't allow you to neglect your life anymore!
We are here to support you along the way to happiness!
Here are 18 myths debunked!
1.
All Calories Are Equal
That's not true!
Different foods ask for different metabolic processes
and can have vastly different effects on hunger and hormones that will regulate body weight.
So if someone ever tells you this they clearly don't know all to good themselves.
2.
Losing Weight is a Linear Process
Losing weight isn't that linear as some people think.
Some days and weeks you may lose, while during others you may gain a little bit.
Ask yourself what did I gain exactly?
Am I looking fatter or not... no scale will tell you that!
If you are still dieting don't worry too much about the digits!
It's in the effort!
3.
Supplements Can Help You Lose Weight
They can't make you lose weight but they may aid the process.
of losing weight.
A fat burner will heighten your heat levels
inside and raise your heart rate, because of that you'll burn more
energy and you'll get more energy will working out
4.
Obesity is About Willpower, Not Biology
You may have genes that are a bit more difficult to tame
but it all boils down to your leptin signalisation being
broke as feck because of your sugary lifestyle!
You also have to believe!
Mental conditioning works!
5.
Eat Less, Move More is Good Advice
It's not always true that you lose weight by eating less and moving more...
telling people with weight problems to just eat less, move more
is ineffective and not so supportive advice.
It rarely works in the long term.
It about finding balance and making it your long-term lifestyle & inner happiness.
6.
Carbs Make You Fat
Not all carbs are created equally!
Low GI carbs won't get you nearly as fat as high GI carbs!
High gi carbs will most likely get you fat more quickly if you don't use the energy right
away
7.
Fat Makes You Fat
People in a ketogenic diet who eat 30 gr carbs every day
and 200 grams of fat aren't fat at all!
Eating high fats & high sugary foods in combination with each other is a
disaster...
either get energy out of fats or out of low GI carbs, by the way fat is
the rich mans diet!
I do recommend to switch it up once and a while.
8.
Eating Breakfast is Necessary to Lose Weight
It is a myth that breakfast boosts metabolism, or that eating multiple,
smaller meals makes you burn more calories throughout the day.
9.
Fast Food is Always Fattening
It depends what else you have during the rest of the day!
If you have a fast food day!
Watch your other meals!
10.
Weight Loss Diets Actually Work
No they don't!
You work!
Only you can do it!
That's it!
Instead of kicking your self under the ass every time you fail...
kick those stupid diet plans under the ass & actually do it yourself!
The only dieticians that actually work are the supportive once who
stand next to you while your training & who encourage you.
Trainers are better dieticians than dieticians.
11.
People With Obesity Are Unhealthy, Thin People are Healthy
Many people with obesity are metabolically healthy,
but they can have other kinds of deceases.
While thin people are not healthy metabolically Find the fine line between both
12.
Diet Foods Can Help You Lose Weight
It can sometimes be the opposite and make you unhealthy!
Certain additives are actually very bad for your healthy and body
13.
If You Eat At Night, You Get Fat
It's the combination of things you do, not just eating at night... binge
eating however can ruin a lot!
14.
You Have To Go On A Low-Fat Diet To Lose Fat
You better off eating like this...
15.
You Can Burn Fat By Targeting It With Exercise
You wont burn fat on your belly by doing crunches...
You may get tighter there and it may look like you lost fat there
but that's not the case... you gradually lose fat over your entire body
16.
Diet soda inhibits fat loss
There is no evidence artificial sweeteners stimulate insulin
secretion like sugar in healthy or diabetic individuals
17.
CARDIO IS THE BEST WAY TO LOSE FAT
Cardio aids fatloss.
You lose fat, not you doing cardio!
Any sports, supplements & kcalorie restricted diet will help you.
18.
When I lose fat i'll look better!
That's the last one!
Let me awnser this quickily... no, that's not a surtainty!
Only losing fat will not make you look better, it takes more than that.
A healthy lifestyle, feeling lucky you are here on earth alive, feeling happy
and building some good muscle which helps you move through life will make you look good.
If you lose weight to fast it will be harmful for your body, your temple
will make you look pale, have bad skin, get saggy skin and all other kinds of things that'll
make you look worse!
Its up to you to find a good routine in building muscle & staying lean by eating right!

AYS Daily Growth Hacks 040 Box Breathing - Duration: 5:22.
Today's topic box breathing Hi I'm Doug Holt with Author of Your Own Story and
this is your daily growth hack where each day we give you a tip trick or
insight to help you up level what we call the five to thrive that is your
mind your body your soul your relationships and your business today
I'm going to talk about box breathing now I first learned about box breathing
from Mark Devine a fantastic author founder of seal fit a former Navy SEAL
and also just a great inspiration I highly recommend doing a quick Google
search and seeing some of mark's writings as well as his videos well
worth your time I currently use box breathing with my clients as well as in
my daily practice so before I get into how to use box breathing let me talk
about some of the benefits and some of the ways that I utilize it currently
that I think might benefit you box breathing really allows you to release
kind of slow down center yourself and really apply some focus I'll use it in
the car while driving as a way of just getting myself centered calming myself
down from the hectic day-to-day life that cuts sometimes occurs I also use
box breathing just as a walking therapy or a walking meditation oftentimes with
clients I'll use box breathing at the beginning of a session just to really
get them calm centered and focused and as well when I most of my clients are in
fact all of them are business owners and so often times they get really stressed
or really busy as business owners tend to do box breathing allows them to calm
themselves down themselves down gets centered especially before going home
where they have to check in with their family relationships and check business
to the side now what is box breathing so I want you to do is picture a box now a
box is going to have four sides we're going to use all four of those sides
with four second counts so first what you're going to do is
inhale you're doing a baliya belly deep diaphragm inhale through the nose at a
four second count and then once you've finished that you're going to hold for
four seconds slowly open your mouth and let the air naturally come out for
your purse lips now once you've actually exhale all your air up to the four
seconds go ahead and hold for another four seconds before repeating the
process by inhaling through your nose once again so again that's four second
inhale through the nose followed by a four second hold a four second gentle
exhale through the lips follow up again by a four second hold so even if you're
driving the car or walking or watching this right now on a video let's go ahead
and try it together now I should warn you although I've never seen this happen
it's kind of a common warning we always do with breathing exercises some people
can get faint through the lack of oxygen so what I want to do is just take it
easy and just know your own body so for this one we are going to do the four
seconds but I'm gonna sue Mew know your own body so we'll just go ahead and go
with that cautionary tale all right so we're going to inhale four four three
two one hold for three two one gently exhale four three two one hold
for three two one and repeat the process from there I think that you can find
Brock's breathing really instrumental in your daily practice this is something
you can do anywhere you are really helps me get centered and focused now with for
me being the author of my own story I only work certain days of the week
during those days I really catch up on email I catch up on things that are
going on with my team they're located all over the world and so often times I
have three screens going at once now when I have three screens going
admittedly focus is really difficult so sometimes when I'm really getting in the
zone I'm going from one screen to the other I recognize that I'm not able to
produce the quality creative material that I may want to so I'll take a step
back and perform about six to seven rounds of box breeding get myself
re-centered reaffirm my outcome that I want to that day or that task that I'm
working on and move forward I find this helps
with all aspects of my life whether it's working out my relationships it really
helps calm things down in a heap situation or allows me to reset my
caliber moving from one task to maybe my family when I'm done with work it also
helps me in business coming up with creative solutions or thinking kind of
outside the box no pun intended there so whatever you
decide to use box reading for how do you recommend giving it a shot that's it for
me today remember go over to author of your own story calm where you can get
regular tips tricks insights to help you up level your 5 to thrive and stay tuned
in September first we're going to be opening the doors to our author of your
own story University we're only allowing the fit the first 50 people in the doors
so go ahead and get on that waiting list we get more information right now I'll
see you tomorrow

LFP 074 An Unexpected Positive Side Effect from Flute Playing | Learn Flute Online Video Podcast - Duration: 7:24.
Hey everyone it's time for another Learn Flute Podcast.
This is episode seventy four- and I'm Rebecca, your host and the expert at Learn
Flute Online where I will help you through all things related to learning how to play
the flute - and doing it really well.
Let's get started today with another episode.
Today we'll be discovering an unexpected positive side-effect from flute playing.
Yup- let's get started.
I hope I've peaked your interest today because I wasn't quite sure how to title this one.
Haha, let me give you a little background so you understand: first of all, I started
this conversation years ago with my first son (who is all grown up now), but this was
from back when he was in the sixth grade and had to take his first official keyboarding
class.
Now, I didn't think anything of this and actually, neither did he- until he started
to hear all of the other kids in the school complaining about how awful the keyboarding
class was.
By the way, this is the same as a typing class for those of you who haven't heard it called
keyboarding before.
Since we don't actually have typewriters anymore, they call it keyboarding.
It's a generational term.
Haha.
The secretary at the school was our good friend and told us that more calls came in from parents
complaining about the difficulty of the keyboarding class than any other subject taught in the
school.
Interesting??
Yah, I thought so, so we had a discussion at home about it.
I asked my son if the teacher was unusually hard or mean or unfair or something, and his
answer stuck with me for a long time.
He said, "nope, mom- the other kids just haven't ever had to use their fingers one
at a time before so it's really hard for them.
I get an A without even trying."
Now, the story doesn't end here because four years later my next child went through
the same school, same keyboarding class, with the same teacher.
And, you guessed it!
It was still the most talked about subject amongst all of the students.
They absolutely hated it, and as usual, the secretaries were still getting a lot of calls.
Haha, I asked him what he thought about it.
His response was similar to my older son's; he said something like, "well, for some
reason I do the assignments in the first ten minutes and then I get to read my library
book for the rest of the class period..
While the other kids grunt and groan..
And some even cry about it."
Huh, I thought.
So, I started to ask my other students of similar age what their experience was in that
dreaded keyboarding class since most of them were from the same area.
And, they all said, "it's easy.
I get an A without even trying very hard at all, but almost all of the kids in the class
struggle very bad."
This started me on a quest of research.
Is is just my boys who are good at typing?
Nope, it's my other flute students who really good at it as well.
It turns out that the pianists in the class also had no troubles.
Are you seeing a common theme here today?
Now, this story hasn't really ended because I have other children and they've all had
the same experience.
Now, I'd like to point out that my case-study didn't end there.
I've as nicely as possible noticed that my husband cannot type for the life of him.
He's poky slow, and has to even look at the keyboard while he types.
And… you guessed it- he never had any music lessons in his whole life.
When he was about forty years old he asked me if I would teach him how to play the guitar.
I was SOOOOO excited that he came to me, of course I said YES and got him totally set
up.
Well, difficult times he had to the point where he decided to move on a little and I
helped him learn to play the harmonica instead.
Haha, he needed an instrument that didn't require fingers!
Well,..
He CAN learn - his is very smart, he just hasn't had the patience it takes to repeat
the proper 'one finger at a time' motions enough times to feel comfortable yet.
When's the last time you took a keyboarding test for speed?
Kinda curious?
I dare you to take one right now.
I took one in preparation for this audio and am happy to say that I had a final speed of
91 words per minute.
Pretty good?
Yup I think so.
All three of my boys are speedy typers, and you should hear them play the flute too!
Flight of the Bumblebee is one of their favorites.
And, I'm so glad we have brought instrumental music into our family and lives here because
there are so many great side-effects…
I dare you to take a type test now if you are a beginner in flute and then in a few
years after practicing the flute as an instrument and learning how to use your fingers one at
a time.
I dare you to take the test again then and see if you've improved.
I explore many of these great side effects in other articles, lessons, and audios here
at Learn Flute Online.
And, if learning how to play the flute well can perform miracles such as making sixth
grade type class a breeze, then I'd count that as one of the top unexpected positive
side-effects from flute playing.
Don't you think?
Well, I appreciate you and your journey.
I also hope that you will come to the comment sections of these audios and let me know what
you think.
I'm releasing these all week by week, and will be pointing students at different discussions
at different times by either linking in a module lesson or sending it out via email.
So, if you haven't had time to get signed up for the membership here at Learn Flute
Online where all of the lessons are and even more information that will help you learn
how to play the flute really well- it's definitely time to do so!
We'd love you to join us.
I'm Rebecca Fuller, your flute instructor and expert in helping you get to where you
want to go.
We'll be seeing you soon!
