Let's talk about ABS. So after the Filaween episode on the Innofil3D ABS, i got of ton

of comments, some questioning my sanity, essentially, because i pointed out a flaw with ABS, which

is that layer adhesion basically disappears if you don't use an actively heated build

chamber or even just an enclosure of an kind - and I had deliberately made that choice,

because, let's face it, at least 99% of all printers out there don't have a fully

enclosed build chamber, let alone one that has an active heater in there. In fact, none

of the printers i own and only a single machine capable of printing ABS that's ever been

in this workshop was enclosed, and that was the CEL Robox. So while Filaween is supposed

to be a series about typical, real-world performance of these materials, and not lab-grade tests

and perfect-world conditions, almost every single material still has that same tradeoff

- either you print cold, that is with a lower hotend temperature, in a colder environment

or use a stronger part cooling fan, or you print hot and crank the temperatures up so

high that you end up with a super solidly fused brick that looks nothing like the original

part you wanted. Well, where you want your parts to end up on that scale is totally up

to you, but i try to test somewhere in the middle ground temperature-wise where you get

parts that remain mechanically accurate and usable, but still get good strength. But of

course, that will vary depending on what the part you're printing is being used for.

So i ran a few more tests on the Innofil3D natural ABS. I bumped up the temperature to

240°C, as you all suggested, though i'd personally have lowered the temperature for

all the curling i was already seeing. Then i re-ran the strength tests in open air, in

an enclosed chamber and in the enclosed chamber with the part cooling fan at a fixed 20% setting.

Now, the "chamber" I'm using here is just the shipping crate the Dynamo3D OnePro

came in, and with the printer's heated bed going and the cracks sealed off as good a

i can, it reaches 32 to 35°C in there, which, as you'll see, already has quite an impact.

If you don't want to commit to building a chamber around your 3D printer, you could

also just grab a trashbag or two and plop that over your printer, that should already

be enough to have it heat up to where ABS will work much, much better.

Now, of course, this doesn't just apply to ABS, i've also A-B tested rigid.ink's

ASA, which, as you can see, also profits greatly from that extra ambient temperature, and other

filaments like HIPS, Taulman's 910 and PC-ABS also benefit from an exclosure.

So let's look at the strength numbers: As expected, the higher temperature by itself

as well as when combined with the enclosure make this ABS a great deal stronger, almost

doubling the rating it got at the original 235° in open air. What did surprise me was

that adding a fan seemed to increase strength even more - it's just a tiny bit, but i'd

assume that's only from the layers lining up better. And really, it should have been

obvious, because print quality took a plunge with both the extra temperature and when adding

an enclosure. At its worst, even the vertical walls are completely jagged and unusable.

Yes, that is very definitely a temperature issue.

Now you could counteract that by increasing minimum layer time, but at the same time,

that will reduce layer adhesion, so really, you're not gaining anything.

So while strength was much better with the higher temperature and the enclosure added,

again, it's a tradeoff between quality and strength, and realistically, if you add all

those countermeasures of using a part cooling fan, going slower etc because you're effectively

printing too hot, that's going to put your prints very close to where you started out.

It looks like the filament just has that heat limit of how hot and fast you're printing,

how warm your ambient temperature is and how much heat you're sucking back out with a

fan. What i also think makes a huge difference

in this entire topic is the filament itself, obviously. In this case i used Innofil3D's

material to give it a second chance, but it seems like it's one of those, i don't

want to say watery, but definitely higher flow and lower melt strength materials. The

Esun ABS i have also performs extremely similar there, with you either ending up with weak

parts or temperature artifacts. Even rigid.ink's ASA still profits a lot from the enclosed

chamber, but has much less apparent artifacting from it. And particularly ABS blends can perform

significantly better or worse than others, as we've seen with the REC ABS.

So, should you be using an enclosed chamber for ABS and similar filaments? Yeah, i'd

say, it's a good idea to have one, even and especially for the better filaments, and

to be honest, unless you're living at the equator with no air conditioning, i'd heavily

advise against using ABS without an enclosure. It's not just for how your parts will turn

out, but it's also about health and safety, as ABS is one of the materials with a higher

particle count and an enclosure can help keep the fumes constrained. Performance-wise, I'll

just repeat it again, even though i know the comments will disagree, but for normal users

that don't need that last bit of temperature stability and don't vapor-smooth everything

they print, copolyesters aka PET and PETG are just a much better choice. And even for

mechanical applications that involve a bit of heat, PETG is a great option. It's tough,

it's reasonably temperature resistant and so much easier to print well. Point in case

- i printed the spindle motor holder for my MendelMax 3 CNC conversion from Ultimaker

CPE and DAS FILAMENT PETG and it's holding up perfectly.

Now, does that mean ABS is universally a bad material and you shouldn't use it at all?

No. It has its uses, but i believe that for many jobs, there are just better and more

consistent alternatives out there. Over the years, I've not encountered a bad copolyester

yet, but I've come across many ABS filaments that didn't perform as expected.

So what do you think? Have you made similar experiences yet? Are you running ABS on a

daily basis as your main material? I'd really like to know in the comments below.

Alex Agnew Volkswagen [ENGLISH SUBTITLES] - Duration: 2:48.

So, what else did we got from the Adolf?

You remember?

Besides Hugo Boss and the highway?

What else did we get?

Volkswagen indeed.

A payable car in times of large crisis.

Every German could suddenly afford a car to drive on the new highway, and he made himself very popular with it.

Seemingly also a very good car cause we still use it to this day.

I myself also own a volkswagen, a volkswagen diesel.

The one from the cheating software.

Because Germans and dangerous gas emissions it stays difficult.

Thank you.

I almost thought the CEO of volkswagen would have said:

Then the circle would have been round.

And I drive with a volkswagen beetle, that sport model, very small. A bit silly, but drives fast, sharp.

Strange character traits sometimes though.

When I'm driving through a Jewish street, the wheel starts to counteract a bit

The GPS starts to yell to me:

The window wipers

I could just at the last moment dodge a Hasidic jew on a bike.

Then the door opened by itself.

Crazy car, crazy car.

But maybe, the dangerous emission of the Volkswagen Diesel was all part of Hitlers final solution.

Maybe he was planning that for years.

And so he also immediately solves the traffic jams.

It was such a visionary, Adolf.

We still miss you every day...

I thought how far can I go in this hall.

Pretty far.

5 Incredibly DANGEROUS Places You Should NEVER Visit - Duration: 4:05.

At some point, everybody thinks they have it hard where they live.

The truth is however, a lot of us don't have it that bad, especially when compared

to the places on this list.

Here are the 5 most dangerous places to live in the world!

Pripyat, Ukraine is the city in which the infamous Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster

occurred.

In 1986, there was a catastrophic nuclear accident that resulted in explosions that

released large quantities of nuclear particles into the air.

The accident killed 31 people due to extreme radiation poisoning and poses long term threats

to others exposed.

Due to the effects of radiation on humans, the entire area has been essentially abandoned

since the incident, but approximately 400 people actually remain inside its borders.

Regardless, scientists predict Chernobyl and the surrounding areas will be safe for humans

in approximately 600 years.

Another area ravaged by disaster rather than violence, the Indonesian island of Sumatra

is incredibly susceptible to destructive natural phenomena.

Most cities on Sumatra are found at the base of a volcano, a fault line, or in a hurricane

prone area.

Tidal waves are also a common occurrence due to earthquakes in the ocean.

There are so many prevalent threats to Sumatra that many simply call it a disaster waiting

to happen.

The infamous 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami was caused by a 9.1 magnitude earthquake just

off the coast of Sumatra and killed well over 200,000 people.

The capital of Iraq, Baghdad is largely consider a war zone and deemed unsafe by the UN, who

advises against anyone going unless absolutely necessary.

Since 2012, there has been a sharp increase in public attacks meant to overthrow the unstable

government.

A number of roadside explosions, suicide bombings, and random gunfire in the streets are quite

common here.

Also, essentially every major terrorist organization, including ISIS, has ties to the city, if you

weren't already scared.

Even the non-extremist Iraqi people in general harbour hatred of foreigners.

Though it is a closed off, private nation, we do know that living in North Korea is pretty

terrible.

Though you are less likely to be murdered, you are likely to starve to death or be jailed

and executed for small crimes.

For example, running a private business is considered treason, and travelling south could

land you a death sentence for sympathizing with South Korea.

Essentially, anything is worthy of capital-punishment if Dictator Kim Jong Un wants it to be.

Being a foreigner in North Korea is especially bad, since they are often held in prison for

years under false charges.

Though it doesn't have the highest murder rate, Juarez Valley, Mexico is often called

the most dangerous place on Earth that isn't an active warzone.

Located on the Mexico-Texas border, drug cartels run the city in which high levels of poverty,

violence, and rape are prevalent.

One of the most sickening problems is femicide, which is the act of murdering women for no

reason other than being female, which has been occurring for over 20 years.

The Sinoloa Cartel is currently at war with the Jaurez Cartel, and even the militant police

don't dare enter.

Streets lined with burnt bodies and heads on spikes is all you will see in this gruesome

valley of death.

And those are the 5 most dangerous places to live in the world.

Soulja Boy alleges that Brown lashed out at him on the phone over it.

He threw fuel on the fire by accusing Brown of drug use.

Breezy responded on Instagram by challenging to him a fight on Instagram stories.

"IBoy stop it.

Naughty Teddies in Fallout 4 (Part 2) - Duration: 4:36.

Too funny.

Hey there friends.

I thought I'd start off my gaming videos in 2017 with a little humor.

I'll be showing you five naughty teddy bears, or teddy bear scenes, from Fallout 4.

This is actually Part 2 to a series I started almost a year ago. If you

want to check out that Part 1, I'll leave a link in the description and the iCard above.

That was a fun video to make, although I can't believe so much time has passed since

that first video.

But I've been collecting footage for a sequel all this time.

In fact, I have more footage for upcoming installments in the weeks and months ahead,

so look out for those.

Also, this is similar but different to another series I do on called Freakish Fallout 4 Easter

Eggs, for which I've also been collecting footage for a sequel.

Links for that below if you're interested.

Ah, so much I want to do and so little time.

But alas, let's take a look at these bear necessities...

All right, the first one I have here is from the Nuka World DLC.

This footage is actually from my trivia walkthrough in Kiddie Kingdom.

In the Kiddie Kingdom Fun House, there's a room with a spinning floor surrounded by a

bunch of doors.

In one of the doors there's this teddy bear scene where presumably a male teddy bear is

seducing a female teddy bear.

He's got the flowers, the candles, and he was nice enough to make her dinner first.

Notice the picture frame.

Hopefully that's not his wife and hopefully the one here is at least barely legal.

Otherwise, he'll be bearing responsibility if she bares it all.

Okay, moving on...

Yeah thanks, Cait.

I'm trying to impress the people here, sheesh.

Anyway, this next scene features two naughty teddy bears drinking and smoking under the

bar, presumably playing checkers with caps.

Like the last scene with the flowers, the developers actually took the time to put a

beer in one hand and cigar in the mouth of the other.

Now that's some attention to detail.

The one on the right is sitting on a cigar box too.

These two can be found at the Shamrock Taphouse just southeast of Goodneighbor.

Too funny.

Hopefully they don't get caught by the boss.

That could be a real em-bear-assment.

The next one I found at the Warwick Homestead.

North of the shipwreck where you can find the Agility Bobblehead.

Southwest of Spectacle Island.

Here's the local map.

It's all the way around the backside near the water actually. And it

features a teddy riding on a Giddyup Buttercup.

Both have maritime hats on. There's a life preserver

nearby, so maybe they were getting ready for a swim. You never know, although

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that horsie's going to sink like a rock.

Just a fair warning there teddy.

Wouldn't want to attend your bear-ial.

All right, now this next one is just plain weird.

It can be found at the Boston Mayoral Shelter.

Southwest of Graygarden on the far edge of the map.

In one of the hallways behind an overturned box, there's a teddy bear in a wheelchair

with a baby rattle positioned in front of a camera.

Now this could be innocent or it could be kinda pervy.

Not sure which, but it's certainly strange.

Might leave you bear-ied in thought for a while.

And last but not least, we're back in the Nuka World Fun House.

In another set of doors, there's a hilarious scene with a naughty teddy

bear gambling with some friends.

Besides teddy here, we've got Jangles, an alien, and a Giddyup Buttercup, along with

beers, cigars, and a pile of money which is presumably the poker pot.

Now in the episode itself where I recorded this footage, I actually mentioned a cool

factoid about the famous painting that this scene is based on.

So check out that episode if you want to learn more.

All right guys, that's going to do it for Part 2.

Like I said, I have enough footage for a part 3 and maybe even a part 4.

We'll have to see.

In the meantime, thanks for grinning and bearing my humor.

I'm sure you barely made it through those puns.

If you did, throw a like on the video and bear witness to your friends.

Okay, okay, I'll stop.

Too much fun.

And we'll see ya next time on the Skooled Zone.

DACR4U - Cloudy Day (DAKR4 & DoubleD)

(Intro)

(Verse 1)

[DAKR4]

Take the light away, I want a Cloudy Day.

I need to find a way, To ask you to stay.

Te lo diré hoy, Y tu sabes que voy,

Esperar tu respuesta No me importa donde estoy.

I'm Gonna try to tell you everything in one song.

No matter how weak I am, with you I feel strong.

Tell me whenever you feel I might go wrong, And I'll try to be that place where you feel

like you belong.

I am, A really weird guy,

Don't know why.

But you caught my eye, I felt it dry.

On the fly, Sparks in the sky.

Todo lo que haces, Para mi es guay.

Y chicas como tu, Yo se que ya no hay.

You changed me, Made my day long and warm.

So bring me that Cloudy Day.

To chase away the storm.

(Chorus)

[DoubleD]

It's a Cloudy Day, Y yo aquí,

Queriendo tus abrazos y Esperando por ti.

Es una ambición, Tenerte cerca de mi corazón.

But in this Cloudy Day, Escucha mi canción.

How much snow would all this rain amount to? - Duration: 1:30.

ON THIS WET TUESDAY EVENING, YOU

MAY BE RELIEVED OR ANNOYED THAT

IT'S RAIN AND NOT

SNOW FALLING FROM THE SKY.

22NEWS STORM TEAM METEOROLOGIST

NICK BANNIN EXPLAINS HOW MUCH

SNOW ALL THIS

RAIN COULD HAVE BEEN.

"ONE OF THE MORE COMMON

QUESTIONS WE

GET ASKED THIS TIME OF YEAR WHEN

IT RAINS IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY

IS "WHAT IF THIS RAIN WERE

SNOW?" IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW

MUCH RAIN YOU GET AND WHAT TYPE

OF SNOW YOU ARE GOING TO

CONVERT THAT RAIN OVER TO. FOR

WARMER TEMPERATURE SNOW YOU GET

A WETTER SNOW. FOR

COLDER TEMPERATURES IN THE MID

TO LOW 20S OR COLDER WE GET A

DRIER TYPE OF SNOW. OUR

TYPICAL SNOW TYPICALLY FALLS

WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE MID 20S

TO NEAR 30 DEGREES. NOW WETTER

SNOW ACCUMULATES LESS THAN DRIER

SNOW FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF

RAIN. FOR EXAMPLE: 1 INCH OF

RAIN

COULD EQUAL 8 INCHES OF SNOW IF

THAT SNOW IS A WARMER AND WETTER

SNOW. A REALLY DRY SNOW

CAN TURN THAT ONE INCH OF RAIN

INTO 15 INCHES OF SNOW OR MORE,

BUT WHAT WE TYPICALLY SEE HERE

IN

WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS IS ABOUT

AN INCH OF LIQUID RAIN EQUALING

ROUGHLY TEN INCHES OF

SNOW. SO LET'S SAY WE GET CLOSE

TO AN INCH OF RAIN THROUGH

TONIGHT, THAT COULD HAVE BEEN 10

INCHES OF NEW SNOW ON THE

GROUND. I'M 22NEWS STORM TEAM
