well sadly it doesn't hold anymore.
oh perfect. I mean that you can heal in the air and stuff
well it still wastes the whole mp (haha kingdom hearts 2)
But you don't have to stand still for that. I mean in kh2 you could jump but..

MVI 1586 - Duration: 2:32.We noticed some suspicious changes in SDC this semester
It came up in our first NTID Student Assembly at SDC 1300/1310
Assistant Vice President for student and academic services came on stage
and tried her best to talk and explain about it
was answering all of the questions
She was in a very sticky situation
I proudly appreciate her for doing great job to try to answer all the questions
I'm sure you do know about Student Life Team
Student Life Team have five different positions
Two of them are Director and Assistant Director positions, and they are gone
There was Andrew Schewe in a vlog showed up in NSA
He was telling us that he is not working in SLT anymore
I'm amazed with this abundance of support from SLT
And now, when I found out that they closed these positions
it hitted me harder, and I'm very surprised
I'm feeling lost and they are taking SLT away from my home now.
We've lost two good people in SLT.
One resigned from a position
One loses from position closed
There was something happened to two people from SLT.
It was first time for me not knowing what is happening
It was a terrible mistake
Yes, I believe it was a terrible mistake that they took it away.
That specific person is really strong supporter of our student voice
And now, it got took away from us
How can we support you while you've already made a decision without any transparency going on.
How can we work together
if that decision was made by admin alone without discussing with us such as any student clubs and NSC
There was nothing of it, and decision was quickly made and then admins wanted us to work with that
That surely took guts and I want to know what's up
What I did see is they kept the communication unclear and confused constantly
While the community already tried to open a dialogue and get on a pulse with them
And we ask for a transparency, yet still there are none of it.
I feel we need to change this, but what?
I want all of you administrators and Dr. Gerard Buckley to come to NSA
So you can answer our questions
And, I want Destler to be part of this. I still can feel he does not know about this.
For 5 years of being here, And I'm seeing a kind of these patterns that are still repeating
And it's still there.
I think this is something that have to be changed immediately
We have to reopen that position as soon as possible
This community desperately need them.
It's shocking that two big important positions are missing now
This community is vowing and trying to support and work together
Also, Gerald Buckley will be presenting on next Tuesday.
will explain about what's a reason behind these decisions that closed Assistant Director's position of SLT
whereas there are many students being concerned about
Come over at 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Where? It's at NTID Panara theater

Primo One Search - Holman Library, Green River College - Duration: 10:53.Welcome to the Green River Community College Library!
In this video you will learn how to access books, videos and articles through the Holman
Library's Primo One Search Tool.
To access any library resources, always start at the library's homepage, www.greenriver.edu/library
The library's web site has many search tools for finding articles, books and videos.
These specialized tools can allow you to dig deep and fine-tune your searches.
But the library also offers a Primo One Search Tool that allows you to perform a less-refined,
but broader search across most of the library's search tools at once.
This can be helpful if you are not sure where to start.
Let's try it out with a sample search.
Let's say that you are interested in researching the psychology behind body image, in other
words, how our own minds shape the way that we view our physical bodies.
In the search box, type short simple search words such as: "body image" psychology.
Note that if you want to search for a concept like "body image" it is helpful to put quotes
around the words so that the computer will search only for that phrase :body image" and
not just the words body and image separately.
In the results list you see books, videos and articles on that topic.
Some are available in hard copy in the library.
Some are online through one of the library's databases.
So what are these online library databases?
Well, Google allows you to access millions of webpages, but it can only search the surface
of the internet.
Library Databases are search tools that allow you to find books, videos and articles that
are NOT freely available or searchable through Google.
Green River students have special access to this information through Library Databases.
That's why it is important to use not just websites, but a variety of library resources
for college-level research projects.
So, you have a list of results, in this case, over 18,000 results.
Let's look at three ways to narrow your searches to get better results.
You can narrow by Publication Date, Subject, and most importantly, Source Type.
First, you have the option of narrowing by DATE.
If you are interested in seeing only the most recent publications, you can refine your search
to a specific date range.
Second, you have the option of narrowing by SUBJECT.
Click "show more" to see the subjects associated with this topic.
These subject search words can be incredibly helpful for your research.
For example, you may discover other search words associated with your topic, such as
"self image" or "self concept."
Other subject words may help you discover different ways to narrow or focus your topic,
such as "eating disorders."
If you clicked on "eating disorders" for example, you will further narrow your results to those
books, videos and articles that also relate to eating disorders.
Third, and most important is narrowing or refining by SOURCE TYPE.
But WHY is this important?
In your research, using only one source type, for example only web sites, is like getting
only one type of candy for Halloween.
Yes, that candy may be tasty, but isn't it better to get many different types of candy?
The same is true for college-level research.
Most instructors expect you to use a many different types of sources - encyclopedias
and books, videos, articles - to make your research stronger and more interesting.
HOW do you find different source types?
To do that look at the options on the left-hand side of the results screen.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES between these source types?
Let's look at four important source types for research: Reference Entries, Books, Videos
and Articles
One source type is REFERENCE ENTRIES.
WHY might you choose REFERENCE ENTRIES?
Because Reference Entries are like encyclopedia articles and so are a good place to start
your research.
They offer you a short overview of your topic and help you understand what the key issues
are.
They also give you specialized vocabulary or search words that are used in the field
you are researching, such as "bariatrics" and "body mass index" in the study of obesity.
Another source type is BOOKS.
WHY might you choose BOOKS?
Because book are often are written by authors who are experts or have taken the time to
do research on a particular subject.
Books go deeper and help you understand the complexity your topic.
The chapters of a book sometimes help give you clues about how to organize your topic.
Often you do not need to read the entire book; just a chapter or two can help you with your
research.
Another source type is VIDEOS or AUDIO VISUAL.
WHY might you choose VIDEOS?
Because videos give you a visual and emotional understanding of your topic.
They can provide authentic, first-hand accounts of events from participants or witnesses in
the film.
Often you do not need to watch the entire video.
Even short segments can give you great information for your research.
And because videos are great for presentations you must give in front of a class.
They keep your audience interested and engaged!
Another source type is ARTICLES.
WHY might you choose ARTICLES?
Different articles give you different flavors to your research.
For example,
Scholarly or Peer-Reviewed or Academic Journal articles are good for finding results of scientific
or academic research.
They are written for scholars and provide in-depth analysis of a very specific area
of your topic.
If you ONLY want to see these types of journals, click "peer-reviewed journals." to narrow
your results.
Popular Magazine articles are good for summarizing information on a topic for the general public.
They often provide a background, summarize research findings, and provide some analysis
of a topic.
They can be found by clicking "articles" However, note that when you click "articles"
you will see BOTH scholarly and popular magazines together in your list of results.
Newspaper articles are good for facts and up-to-date information.
They often provide little analysis of a topic, but are valuable because they show how a topic
has been treated in the media.
So, let's try it.
Remember you started with your initial search: "body image" psychology.
You wanted to narrow your results by source type so you click "books."
Once you do so, you will filter and narrow your results to show only books.
If a book shows "available at" , this means that the book is in hard copy format.
You can click on the title for more information.
Write down the call number.
This number indicates where the book is located in the Holman Library.
It is like the "address" of the book and tells you exactly where the book sits on the library
shelves.
You can ask a librarian to help you find the book.
You can also click the "locate" button to see a map of the library shelves.
Scroll down the page.
Often you will see more detailed information about the book so you can determine if the
book might be helpful to you.
In many cases you do not need to read an entire book.
Often a short chapter will give you the information you are looking for.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
The "Virtual Browse."
allows you to see your book, plus the other books that sit next to it on the library shelves.
Why is this helpful?
Because books on the same subject are grouped together by call number on the same shelf,
so you can easily browse other books on your same subject.
If you go back to your results list, and see that a book is "Checked Out" that means that
it is a hardcopy book and that another person has borrowed the book.
Click on the title of the book.
You can sign in using your Green River Student ID and network password to request the book.
That means you will be notified when the book is returned so that you can borrow it.
At any time, you can always ask a librarian for help or chat with a librarian online.
If you go back to your results and see "View Online", that means that the book is available
in electronic format.
Click "View Online" to open the book.
You can view the entire book or click on the chapter that is most helpful to you.
You can also search for words within the book.
For example if you were researching body image, you may want to search for the word "anorexia"
to see if this book has information on that body image disease.
If you want to go back to your entire list of results you can click the "x" to remove
the source type "books" and return to all results which will show books, videos and
articles.
It is likely that you will want to perform different searches to find information on
different aspects of your topic.
For example if you are really interested in how the media influences women's image of
their own bodies, type in simple search words like "body image women media."
You many need to try synonyms or similar words.
For example, your second search might be "body image media female"
On your third search you might try different, but related search words such as "self image
advertising women"
Be persistent and creative.
Trying many different search words is a very normal part of your research process!
To get help at any time, you can "Ask a Librarian" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
So, when you need to do some good research, start at the Library's home page, www.greenriver.edu/library.
Use the Primo One Search Tool to find books, videos and articles.
Librarians are faculty members with a specialty in research.
Visiting, phoning, emailing or online chatting with librarians can save you lots of time
and help you become stronger researchers.
Good luck with all your research projects!
