AZEDIA - Something (Rameses B Remix) [Copyrighted NCS Release] - Duration: 4:31.

Something's wrong, but I don't know what

Wondering how, with all the things I've got

Life is good, but the pain don't stop

'Cause I'm holding on, so I give it up

Cheer up, put a smile on your face

Wake up, take me out of this place

Rise up, we are the human race

Cheer up, put a smile on your face

So if you really go the whole way and see how you feel

at the prospect of vanishing

Have all your efforts, and all your achievements,

and all your attainments turning into dust and

nothingness. What is the feeling?

What happens to you?

Cheer up, put a smile on your face

Wake up, take me out of this place

Rise up, we are the human race

Cheer up, put a smile on your face

So in this way, by seeing that nothingness is the

the fundamental reality, and you see it's your reality.

Then how can anything contaminate you?

All the idea of you being scared, and put out and worried

and so on, this is nothing, it's a dream

Because you're really nothing.

So cheer up

"Why is Women's Rights National Historical Park important to you?" - Duration: 3:35.

[Music]

Hi, my name is Catherine Porter and I am an intern

here at Women's Rights National Historical Park.

We wondered why this site is so important to so many people,

so we asked our visitors and staff,

"Why is Women's Rights National Historical Park important to you?"

This is where the women's rights movement began, and without that women would not be

voting now, they wouldn't have the opportunity to vote.

It started with a small group who got left out of speaking at an abolitionist meeting,

and they were kind of ignored and they said "wow, wait a minute, we're important too."

They started meeting together, and from what I understand, and this movement got started.

So, it really highlights American women's history,

and it really is kind of a pivotal home for the start of that,

and it not only focuses on inequalities of women throughout

America's history but also on civil liberties in general.

And it's kind of a park that the public can come and reflect upon and

really look at not only the advancements that have

been for women, but other social groups throughout the United States' history.

It's important to just learn the history, and all the people that made my rights possible

and all of women's rights possible.

I own a house, I went to college, I have a great job, I voted, all because these women

worked really hard to get that right.

So, I think it's really important to learn history, and learn like, you know, the struggle,

like it's important to not forget what they went through.

Women's Rights National Historical Park is here to tell the story and celebrate the

first women's convention in 1848.

But truly, it is here to celebrate and, um express the struggle of a centuries long

struggle for equality for women in the United States and every where.

I think a museum like this is important because it documents social support over time.

The other reason that I think it's important is because in any time period, when there

are radical ideas about social change or changing the way society is there's always this

idea that "oh, that could never happen," like "oh, people will never accept that idea or

people will never change."

And a museum like this documents that that's actually not true, because there's so many

examples in this museum of what people used to think about women's abilities and how those

ideas have changed over time.

Women's Rights National Historical Park is important to me because it's crucial to preserve

the struggles that women faced throughout history, and to realize that the struggles

are still happening in many forms today,

of women of color, or women of different sexual

orientations.

These same actions are being taken against these women to limit their rights and to persecute

them in society.
