🕉😀 How to FREE Yourself from Depression / Stay as Awareness / Non-Duality Teacher Rupert Spira - Duration: 9:50.
It's this very subtle change of focus. Nothing changes.
You don't have to escape the feeling. Right there shining, not buried in the heart of the feeling, but on the surface of the feeling.
The light of your own being is shining, just give that your attention.
See that, see the knowing rather than the known.
I have some sort of brain condition and I have episodes of depression,
where I am just in bed sleeping for extended periods.
When you're just?
Can you repeat that last bit?!
I'm in bed for episodes, for long periods.
I'm just fundamentally immobilized.
They're episodic. They came and go.
The question that I have: When I'm in that space, when I am so heavily identified with the depression,
I can't access the knowing.
There is never a moment that I can actually somehow detach. I'm so in it.
Any thought about how to access the knowing, or how to fundamentally establish myself in that when I'm in that cycle?
I appreciate that it's difficult.
However what you are saying is: When a black image appears on the screen, the screen disappears!
Exactly!
When a black image appears on your TV screen, does your screen disappear? Does the black image obscure the screen?
No, it doesn't.
You wouldn't know that you were in a deep depression if the knowing of it was not present!
So, this knowing it doesn't need to be accessed. It's not buried deep down under layers and layers and layers of feeling.
Just like the screen is not buried behind the black image, veiled by it.
This knowing is shining fully, brightly, even in the deepest depression.
Well, that's very interesting when you say that, because when I'm in this deep dark space, there is this wanting to connect with the known.
Let me stop you.
You say 'When I'm in this deep dark place,' you are always the knowing of your experience, yes?
The screen is never buried in the movie, it's never lost in the movie!
When you have a depression, do you know anything of the depression other than the knowing of it?
I would say no.
All there is to the depression and I'm not trivializing your feeling,
all there is to the depression is the knowing of it, that knowing is shining right on the surface of the feeling.
It's not buried behind it. You don't have to separate yourself out from the depression and go looking for this knowing presence,
which is buried in the back. It's right there shining in this black image.
Just like when you see a black wall on a tv screen ...
The tv screen that was two minutes ago shining in a blue sky is equally shining in the black wall
In your depression, all you know of the depression is the knowing of it.
That knowing is not buried or veiled, covered, obscured, or lost.
That knowing is shining brightly in the feeling.
So give your attention to the knowing. You don't even need to give your attention to the knowing, because knowing is the attention which we give to objects.
So you just know yourself as that knowing.
It's like watching a black image on a screen and instead of focusing on the black image you see the screen.
Nothing changes. You keep looking at the same screen, but instead of saying 'I'm seeing a black wall,' you say 'I'm seeing the screen.'
The happiness that you are longing for in the depression is that screen.
And it's shining in the depression!
So it's this very subtle change of focus. Nothing changes.
You don't have to escape the feeling. Right there shining, not buried in the heart of the feeling, but on the surface of the feeling.
The light of your own being is shining, just give that your attention.
See the knowing rather than the known.
That is the happiness you are longing for. In other words happiness itself is appearing as this depression.
Just as the transparent screen appears as the black wall.
Only because you're rejecting the depression and looking for happiness elsewhere or looking for the presence of awareness elsewhere
That rejection of the depression and the insistence that awareness or happiness is somewhere else,
that is what compels awareness to seem as if hidden. It is your insistence that it is missing that makes it seem that it is so.
That makes perfect sense!
Yes, that's very helpful.
So when you discover the knowing in your depression, - the screen in the image - then turn around and face your depression. See what is left of it.
The thought occurred to me to ask myself the question 'Am I willing to be depressed for the rest of my life?'
What a thought.
It's not 'are you willing to be depressed for the rest of your life,' because if you discover this knowing in the depression
in other words if you discover the screen in the image, the depression can no longer stand,
because depression is unhappiness. It can no longer stand when you've seen the knowing.
That's why I say 'Look back at the depression and see what remains of it!'
You won't be able to find it!
The depression itself, the feeling itself will have been revealed,
the true substance of the feeling will have been revealed, which is happiness. Happiness is the substance of all feelings, even our deepest depression.
Well, it doesn't last. It never lasts.
The knowing is eternal. Stay with that.
Stay with the knowing!
Everything we have ever truly longed for lives shining on the surface of experience,
not just the background, not buried in the heart, but right in the midst of experience.
Everything we have ever longed for - peace, happiness, and love -
lives there shining brightly in all experience.

How to Debug and Fix tracking errors - Duration: 6:06.
- Do you trust the data you are collecting?
If not, in this video, you're gonna learn a framework
to ensure your tracking is working correctly.
I'm gonna give you a five-step process you can follow
to determine any problems with your tracking and solve them.
All and more coming up right after this.
(energetic music)
Hi there, and welcome to another video of measureschool.com,
where we teach you the data-driven way of digital marketing.
My name is Julian, and on this channel,
we do marketing tech reviews, tutorials,
and how-to videos just like this one.
So if you haven't yet, consider subscribing.
Now a lot of you guys have followed along
with our tutorials and installed new tracking
on your website over the past few months.
But maybe looking at the data now,
you find that it doesn't seem that accurate anymore,
or is definitely broken.
What can you do?
Well, you could investigate
and see if you can find the error.
How?
That's a question I actually get asked quite often,
so I thought I'd break it down for you.
I've come up with a framework you can use
to find tracking errors, test your existing tracking,
and get a clearer picture of your data.
Now, we got lots to cover, so let's dive in.
(energetic music)
Before we start diagnosing our tracking error,
we need to go through some preparations first.
So step one is writing down your tracking steps and results.
Before you start testing, you want to have a replicable
process to go through with a measurable outcome.
So for example, if your conversion is a transaction
in an e-commerce store and you wanna test that,
you should go through the steps of adding a product
to your cart, going through the checkout
and using your credit card or another payment method,
and then landing on the thank you page
where the conversion actually happens.
Now the results you are trying to achieve is that
the conversion actually shows up
in your e-commerce reports in Google Analytics.
That's the measurable outcome that will determine
if your test was successful or not.
Having steps like these written down will give you
a clear picture of the variables,
and determine a definitive checkpoint to go back later to.
If you are done with this, we can proceed to
step number two which is getting your debugging tools ready.
You cannot see what you cannot see.
Tracking is not directly visible to you
on the website itself, it works by sending requests
to the tools in the background.
So if any errors happened, you wouldn't necessarily
see them in the browser.
That's where debugging tools come in.
Now, it often depends which platform or device
you wanna try to debug, but for web tracking,
we have quite good tools to our disposal.
For example, if you are using GTM to deploy your tracking,
you have the preview and debug console to see
a lot of information already about your tag deployment.
There are also hosts of other different extensions
for Chrome which can make your tracking visible,
depending on your tag.
There's a tag assistant, a tag inspector,
a Facebook pixel helper, WAST, GA debugger, and more.
If you need to see the requests that are really
coming and going from your browser
and you don't mind getting a little bit more technical,
you can utilize the Chrome developer tools.
Other than that, you can also use external proxies
such as Fiddler or Charles, to see what is being sent
and received by the browser.
No matter what you are trying to achieve,
make sure you have the right tools in place
so you can diagnose any problems later.
Which takes us then to step number three,
which is actually testing our implementation.
So with all your debugging tools running now,
you can now execute the process from step number one
and go through them step by step.
Note down if you see any weird errors,
and if you can replicate your end result from step one.
If you run into any major issues, you can go over to
step number four, which is debugging and fixing your error.
And this is really all about asking the right questions.
So in our previous example, if our transaction
doesn't get tracked, I would ask myself,
what needs to happen in order for this to work?
Luckily, there is a blueprint in the Google documentation
which explains how things are supposed to work.
In most cases, transaction tracking heavily relies on
custom data that needs to be pushed to Google Analytics.
I would start investigating with the GA debugger
if this data actually gets pushed,
and if there are any errors on the page
in the markup itself that prevent that from happening.
Yes, this can be quite intensive, technical,
and sometimes frustrating, but it can really help you
to come up with a solid treatment to fix your error.
Then you can go back to your developer,
re-implement, and start tracking your data again.
Once it's working correctly, I would go to
step number five, which is cross-checking.
What does that mean?
Well, in our previous example, we did transaction,
even if they now get tracked in Google Analytics,
it doesn't necessarily mean that this data is correct.
But we can utilize external data sources,
in our case, it would be the back-end order records,
to cross-check that data, and see if anything is missing
or if it's in realms of acceptability.
And by the way, no tracking is always 100% accurate,
so don't stress too much about
a small margin of error that can occur.
(energetic music)
So there you have it, five steps to test
and verify your tracking.
A short recap, first of all, mark down your steps
and end result you need to go through,
then get your debugging tools ready,
then test your tracking by
going through your testing protocol,
and debugging and fixing any errors.
And in the end, cross-check your data
with available third-party data.
So now I wanna hear from you,
what was your most frustrating error
that you had to debug and fix with your tracking?
Please leave a comment below and join the conversation.

No. 80 | 3 Creepy TRUE Stories | Slumlocker - Duration: 12:03.
so this happened when I was about nine
or ten probably nine
this isn't relevant but i'm a girl I
thought nothing of it at the time and
only really realize the creepiness year
later for context my neighborhood back
then was pretty safe
it still is and we have a security alarm
but only left it on that night
I've gotten home from school and had
spent an hour or so on my computer so
whats around three or four pm and I was
home alone
my dad was at work my mom and my brother
were grocery shopping the desk that had
the laptop was next to an arc way which
led to the dining room which had a wine
rack which my siblings and I never
touched hearing we somehow break the
wine bottles and a wardrobe / cabinet
thing which had other alcohol in it and
Vulcan sake which my siblings and I also
never touch since we thought alcohol
with gross the cabinet wardrobe thing
was right next to the art way closer to
the laptop so i was playing on a laptop
and glanced at the dining room and
noticed the wardrobe cabinet door is
wide open
I think nothing of it until I glanced at
it again looked down and noticed a pair
of bare feet the cabinet door closes at
a woman of standing there mentally
twenties and I distinctly remember her
looking pretty and she had reddish hair
she notices me and looking and smiles at
me and stops rummaging through the
cabinet i had just gotten the puppy who
was very fluffy and adorable and social
when she stopped I notice she's holding
my puppy saying how cute he is and how
she wishes she had a dog i agree with
her and then I
are you one of my mom's friends because
sometimes they babysat my siblings and I
she responds no while cooling over my
puppy
there's a silence that she puts him down
and wanders over to me and lays down she
walks away and I continuously follower
and notice
add the steps at the door she was using
the leave for several bottles of
different alcoholic drinks
I thought that was weird but since I
really went to the cabinet I didn't
recognize the bottles hours i thought
that was weird and one back to playing
on the computer
my moment brothers come back and my mom
asked me how my day was
and I tell her about the lady my mom
kind of freezes trying not to freak out
i think I didn't tell it the lady took
anything because I didn't know the stuff
was ours
she is how she got in and I tell my mom
that I think she got into our garage
door because that's how she left i
mentioned she had some alcohol bottles
with her my mom which to me at the time
was acting weird tells me with a serious
freaked out look on her face to lock the
garage door next time and don't let
strangers in etcetera
she knew i didn't let the lady in but I
guess she was freaked out that someone
was in her house with her kid later like
a few days my mom tells me who the lady
was apparently our next-door neighbor
have a 20 something-year-old alcoholic
daughter and she came to them asking for
alcohol and money and they said no she
came into our house to get her fix a
year or so later when someone was asking
me about my dog suddenly thought about
that and got freaked out about how
easily she could have taken from me
this happened 1971 or 1972 my mom was
about 14 or 15 years old
the incident occurred in a heavily
wooded area near montebello Alabama
close to Birmingham my mother is the
oldest of five children she has three
sisters and a brother who is the plot
baby of the family all weekend in the
cooler months of the fall
my grandfather decided to take the whole
family my grandmother my grandmother and
all my aunts and uncles so seven people
total into the woods for target practice
with a rifle a mother grew up quite poor
and they didn't always live in the best
neighborhoods so my grandfather want to
teach the kids how to defend themselves
with the rifle if need be
like I said it was later in the fall so
the trees repair in there were lots of
leaves on the ground the wooded area was
just offered their road so this is was a
fairly rural area they weren't since it
was so far off the beaten path
my grandfather became startled when he
heard the war of a car engine so deep in
the woods my mom remembers the car as
being a blue ford galaxie despite the
fact that my grandfather had a gun he
totally freaked out and told my grandma
and the kids to hide under a pile of
leaves in the woods he had with them
the man in the driver's seat gato drag
the woman's body out of the car and just
dumped her there in the woods and drove
away at my grandfather was sure the man
had gone everyone came out of hiding and
the woman setup stared them straight in
the face
my grandfather asked the woman if she
needed help she said no she would be
fine
she didn't seem to be injured or
obviously didn't help
she hadn't put up a fight with the man
when he dragged her out of the car she
must have known him so my grandfather
cut the shooting lesson short and
decided to rush the kids home to safety
well on the trail back to the dirt road
for my grandfather had parked the car
they passed the man in the blue for
galaxy driving into the woods
my mom looked over and notice that he
had a huge machete laying across the
front seat right beside him
my grandfather made sure that the man
could see that he was carrying a rifle
but everyone was careful not to give
away what they had just seen the manse
struck up some small talk with my
grandfather asked him how he was doing
what they were doing out in the woods
my grandfather explain them we had just
taken the family out for some target
practice with the rifle
the man told them to have a nice day and
continue driving the next day my
grandfather went back out to that spot
in the woods there was not a body there
however he did find the woman's wake her
purse or Kleenex and a pair of guy
glasses he collected the items and took
them home according to my grandfather
that area of the woods was known for
having shallow graves and being a
dumping site for bodies weather became
hysterical when he walked into the door
carrying that stuff she started
screaming he killed that lady he killed
that lady my grandfather ended up taking
the item to the police station but my
mom doesn't think anything ever came of
it
she never heard anything else about it
after that well she did hear one thing
about it I guess
early the next morning my grandmother
called my mom when she arrived at work
just before the kids left for school she
told them not to take the bus that day
that she will come home and pick them up
and drive them to school my mom asks why
my grandmother said because that car is
waiting for you at the bus stop
about two months ago me and my friend
run a coach back to our hometown
actually she came with me to London to
look at the University our coach ends up
being delayed so on a late one evening
at about 945pm you look pretty tired
after getting up at 5am to get to London
so she asked the man behind her if she
can recline your seat a bit as there was
no one in the seat next to him and he
agrees we both fall asleep sort of on
the coach and suddenly she wakes up
panicking
she tells me that the guy behind keeps
filling up her back through the cap made
by her reclining chair I told her my
half a sleep state he probably did it by
accident and to go back to sleep
about 20 minutes later she's repeatedly
whispering my name to get my attention
straightaway look at the gap between our
two seeds and his hand is there i put my
head in the gap and stared at this dude
dead in the eye and made it clear not to
touch her again and then put her seat
forward position myself so I was
covering the gap between the seat now
i'm wide awake as he was sat in the seat
directly behind me and it was dark
outside
i was able to see his body in the
reflection of the window without seeing
his face meaning he couldn't see me
watching him i said to him for about 20
minutes before thinking he would have
got the picture by now I turned and put
some music on and get my friend the
headphone so she feels better
sometime later I feel a pull on my seat
straightaway look at the reflection and
see this too is holding on to my seat
and is peering over the top of it
I leaned forward and he catches me my
eye in the window he sat down straight
away and tried to style it out
pretending he was adjusting the overhead
aircon I put my head between the gap is
stare at him for about 20 seconds so he
knows not to try anything again at this
point my friend is getting really
stressed and upset I talking loud enough
for him to hear and reassure him that I
won't let him do anything again put
myself back covering the cap
about 20 minutes later she freaks out
again she starts shouting at this man
and i see that he has moved seats and
has put his hand on the outside of two
seats this time I'm not having it
anymore and turn around and tell him to
leave my friend the fuck alone raising
my voice he just leaned back and
pretended to be asleep unfortunately
some guys on the coach were drunk or
being loud so no one heard shouting
towel for help about another hour into
the journey we all had to get off the
coach because of a mix-up and get a taxi
back to our hometown we stand up and get
off the coach away after staring at the
man and making sure he wasn't behind us
we told the coach driver when it
happened and requested he didn't put us
on a coach with him but the man had gone
at this point i ended up getting a taxi
back with one of the drunk eyes on the
coach and his girlfriend both of which I
knew small world

Dropbox for iPad - Duration: 5:01.
Dropbox has updated their ipad app and I
just want to kind of walk you through
that if you do not already have an
account obviously you would need to
create an account right here but I don't
want to do that i have an account so i'm
going to go ahead and information and
sign in if I have photos and such that i
would like to go ahead and upload you
can do that right now i don't i'm going
to tap on skip and it's going to start
you out in your recents which is very
important to know because this is one
spot you're going to find the
information for your account so if you
notice on the bottom left it says
recents that's a tab that I'm in right
now I'm gonna look all the way up to the
top left and there's a little gear wheel
and i'm going to tap on that this will
tell you what email you're associating
with it the space that you're using you
can connect it to a computer upgrade
your account the camera uploads is
important if you want for any pictures
that you take to automatically be saved
into your dropbox you would turn your
camera uploads on I don't really want
that on though I already struggle with
space you can also do the passcode lock
where if you would like to make sure
that other people aren't accessing your
dropbox you can turn your passcode on i
would like to show you the help and tap
on that there are some great spots that
if you have some problems in here if I
don't cover it
the help is a great place to go to
so i'm going to go ahead and tap on
close and you're going to see that I'm
in the recents it will show you any of
the new recent things that you've worked
on a great tool
i'm gonna tap over on the bottom left
to files this is going to show you a
listing of your files that you have you
can kind of see if their shared like
this one tho be some little people on it
this folder or if it's just a simple
document you'll just see something like
that
I'm gonna go on this folder if I tap on
it you're going to see some of the
folders that are
sorry the files that are inside of it
and these files are some movie files if
I'd like to share these there's a little
person in the upper left-hand right by
the video I mean tap on that and that
will allow me to share and you know who
can edit what they can they do create a
link such a sharing feature and also the
three little that's right next to the
person and then tap on those these are
important because we often miss them to
create a folder to select or sort by
date and get rid of that just tap on
that again next to a specific file there
is a little arrow and this allows you
some different things you can share you
can make it available offline which
means you can then go ahead and view
this and I'll tap on that when you don't
have Wi-Fi so maybe you're traveling in
a car or something like that or you
don't have Wi-Fi available at home that
would allow you to access that notice it
puts a little green mark on there I'm
going to tap on that again you can
rename copy move or delete as well so
the little arrow to the right is very
important to know how to use and access
point at back on the word files at the
upper left you can also tap on the plus
you can scan a document you can upload
files you can create or upload a file
sorry the middle was upload photos so a
lot of choices you can do there's if you
want to pull in some your camera roll
without doing automatically you could do
that their tap on photos you're going to
see some more photos that I have again
if this is a video that maybe i need to
access later on this is a little bit
different setting I don't see those
little arrows in the upper right-hand
corner there is this little box and I'll
tap on that and that's going to make
this available offline
I can turn it off and turn it back on
I can also choose to share these at this
point I
I could trash it or i can tap on the
three dots and these are some of those
choices i had before when I was in my
files but this is specific for photos
and now in the bottom left and I'm going to tap
on that offline you will see these are
the two videos that I've said I want
available offline so they're downloaded
actually so that i can view these
without Wi-Fi so hopefully that's a
little synopsis of dropbox for the iOS
and the updated version
