Waching daily Jan 4 2017

Hey guys, Manuel here from Tykato Fitness.

If you don't have goals for 2017 yet - fitness goals - you should set some right now.

For me personally i set three different kind of goals: flexibility goal, endurance goal

and a strength goal.

That's enough for me but you can set any goal you want but set one.

When you set a goal, take one that's achievable.

So if you're a beginner don't set planche as your year's goal.

You won't get that.

Set a time, for example a hold time or a rep number that you want to achieve.

For example one pull up by the end of 2017.

So also set a time when to achieve it. Okay?

Those are S.M.A.R.T. goals.

Don't just say 'i wanna get fit'.

That's a wishy-washy goal.

You could say 'i wanna lose five kilos by the end of 2017'.

That's a smart goal!

Or 'i want to lower my bodyfat percentage' and so on.

So find your goal for you.

If you would like to copy my system take a flexibility goal, a strength goal and an endurance goal.

For me those are the side splits.

As you can see here i'm close to them.

I want to achieve a one second side split on the floor with my ass on the floor by the

end of 2017.

My endurance goal is climbing.

Climb the whole parcours from orange difficulty in my climbing gym - about 20 boulders - within

one day at the same visit in the gym, by the end of 2017.

And my strength goal is one repetition with 50 kilograms added. A pull up. Okay?

So, 50 kilogram pull up by the end of the year.

Now it's your turn!

Take a piece of paper, take a pen, and write down your goals.

Pin them to the wall or to the refridgerator where you can see them.

Think for a bit and we'll see each other at the end of the year and you can tell me if

you achieved your goals. I will tell you if i achieved mine.

Write your goals into the comments.

I would love to read them and see you guys next time on Tykato Fitness. Goodbye!

How To Get Rid Of Hard Water Spots - Jeep Renegade - Chemical Guys - Duration: 3:15.

Whats up guys welcome back to the Detail Garage.

So a common question we get is, what is the easiest way to remove water spots.

This Jeep has been sitting outside in front of the sprinklers and it has water spots all

over the passenger side of car.

So what we're gonna do is show you the easiest way to remove it using some Water Spot Remover Gel.

What this is, is a citrus based chemical that is going to get underneath the water spots

and take it off to bring back that smooth finish without harming the surface.

Before we start applying this to the surface it is important to clean the area.

We already washed this car but the water spots have started to etch the paint.

You can hear it is pretty rough even though it has already been cleaned there is just

this junk stuck in the paint.

So I'll tape off a small section to show you guys the difference between the gel side and

the non gel side.

The Water Spot Remover Gel can be used on painted surfaces, headlights, glass or pretty

much anything but plastic or rubber.

First you want to clean the surface such as a car wash which we have already done.

Next I'll shake it up and using an applicator I'll apply it.

We recommend using gloves because this is a citrus based chemical that you don't want

on your hands and you don't want to leave it on the surface either.

Blotch it out on the area that you'll be starting with and gently work it back and forth.

Already I can see that it is pulling off the water spots and restoring that red shine.

As I mentioned you don't want to leave this on the surface, so after I work it in I'll

take some water and neutralize the area.

Now that I've thoroughly worked it into the paint I'll use some regular deionized water

and spray it down.

Using a clean microfiber towel it is easy to wipe off the neutralized chemical.

Now that I'm done buffing it off, I'll take the tape off so you guys can see the difference.

Already it is a truly amazing shine.

It can still stand to be polished but as far as the water spots are concerned they are

taken care of.

If you guys want to learn more about these products, check it out on our website ChemicalGuys.com.

If you like this video be sure to give it a thumbs up and we'll see you guys next time

right here in the Detail Garage.

You may notice I taped off the trim and that is because the Water Spot Remover Gel can

stain plastic and rubber pieces so as a precaution tape it all off to avoid staining.

Also, we pulled the car inside so it was nice and cool because you don't want to do this

in direct sunlight, you want to control the surface temperature and you'll get the best results.

CSGO AWPing tips from NaVi s1mple - Duration: 4:42.

Hello, everyone! I'm Na`Vi player - S1mple and today I will tell you how to play with AWP,

how to practice it, and how to use it in matchmaking, in FLP (FACEIT Pro League) and so on...

So, first I'll tell you how to practice: you create a map with bots and then you decide what to practice.

It can be flick shot, it can be fast zoom, and no scope.

I personally use flick shot, because it's most effective for me, I can shoot an opponent quickly and win a round for my team.

Also you can practice no-scope, it means shooting without zoom,

and you can practice fast zoom - clicking you right button, and then immediately left mouse button.

After that you can practice your movements, it's cool when the sniper is active,

moves across the map, makes frags and helps his team a lot.

A good example can be Dust 2 map, you shoot at Mid, move towards Long,

trying to kill Pit, or when you a boosted towards Short, you shoot at Mid, drop to CT,

go to Mid again, trying to shoot at T and Mid behind the box.

After that you can move to B, it's very hard to predict your actions this way.

There are passive AWPers, who wait for the frags at the Car, but I prefer active style.

Next... the economy is crucial for the sniper, I mean you must predict the money for your AWP.

You can buy AWP with armor, you save money, if your team loses you can save money for the AWP and win eco round.

Or you can buy the AWP for T side and break CT economy.

Sniper is the key player of the team.

He can be an entry fragger.

For example, if you're playing on Dust2 and you have a good spawn, you can kill the enemy at Long.

But if the sniper doesn't manage to get a kill, misses a shot and eventually dies, it puts your team in a bad spot.

Because the team spends a lot of money to make sure the sniper has an AWP, if he doesn't have enough money to buy one, someone will give him a drop.

And if the sniper doesn't do his job, your team's economy may suffer.

You can get an entry frag, but you should always remember if you missed a shot or you chose a bad angle,

you will get naded or killed and put your team at a disadvantage.

It's also very effective to wallbang with an AWP, you can do it on many maps.

On such maps as Cache, you can watch my demos and see how to wallbang through "7" on the offense.

"7" is the white box on the right when you come out of T mid.

You can wallbang an enemy who's playing behind it.

It's easy to get it done with an AWP, because you deal maximum damage if hit in the head and 50 damage on the body.

It doesn't reveal your position and allows you to get an easy kill and advantage for your team.

But it's not really a common spot to wallbang.

On Dust2 it's easier though, you can wallbang through mid doors right from T spawn.

If you hit the head, you get a kill, and even if you deal at least 50 damage it will always be beneficial for your team.

You can tell your teammates to do a fast B rush with AKs,

they'll have an advantage as they have to deal with a 50 HP CT with M4.

You can easily use this to your advantage.

On almost every map you can go for a random shot through the wall knowing that there's an enemy behind it.

That's it.

Thanks everyone for watching this video.

Living Progress | How HPE Canada Gives Back - Duration: 1:40.

Hi I'm Charlie Atkinson and I'm the managing director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Canada.

Today.

I'd like to share with you our Living Progress agenda here at HPE.

At HPE, we're committed to improving our surroundings in every way that we can.

This is why we created Living Progress, a platform that helps our team get involved

and contribute toward fixing some of the world's toughest issues.

So how do we do that?

HPE recently created a system called donation matching.

This means that when an HPE employee contributes to a charity of their choice, that HPE matches

that contribution dollar for dollar.

We also run company-wide initiatives like Matter to a Million.

We partnered with the Kiva foundation and gave each and every HPE employee $50 a year

to lend to a small business owner in a developing country.

In 2016, HPE Canada employees loaned over $65,000 to entrepreneurs all over the world.

At HPE, the Living Progress agenda is bringing our team together.

It's our chance to make a difference and have fun.

That's what Living Progress is all about.

4 Questions That Will Make You Question Reality - Duration: 13:39.

Reality - what does that word mean to you?

Does it refer to your everydayexistence?

Is it something which is tangible and to be experienced?

Or is reality something else entirely?

Is it a virtual construct of our overly excited monkey minds?

Let's find out shall we, in our video which asks four questions that will make you question

reality.

Number 4: Who are you?

The field of neuroscience has been described as the last frontier in science, and although

it is still in its infancy, we are beginning to understand more about the human brain than

ever before.

But when humanity unravels the complex processes behind consciousness, decision making and

behaviours, what does this mean for our sense of self?

Beneath every single thought you've ever had, every single dream you've experienced, every

action you've ever performed, there is a chemical process responsible for it.

We seek out certain foods and sex because too little dopamine makes us depressed, yet

too much causes addiction to the action which generated it in the first place.

Glutamate helps us learn and retain memory, but this can make us agitated in high doses.

And high-levels of HVA, which is produced when dopamine is broken down, are now thought

to be one of the major causes of psychopathic behaviour.

Everyone's brain contains a different balance of these chemicals, and a variety of factors

can influence the exact composition of your brain.

The nature versus nurture debate is still trying to figure out whether such compositions

are genetically pre-determined or affected by our experiences.

But, one interesting crossover between the two has even discovered that historical trauma

experienced by your ancestors can affect their offspring's genetic makeup, meaning that nature

and nurture may be inseparably intertwined after all.

But regardless of which has the most influence, when we further understand how and why these

factors affect the human mind we'll reach a crucial moment in history.

Because then, we can begin controlling our brains to a more advanced degree than we do

today, and when this happens, does the idea of a personality go straight out the window?

After all, couldn't we simply manipulate the mind of an anxious person to create a more

affable, comedic personality type?

What about that jerkoff neighbour who never says hello when you pass him in the street?

Surely he could be fixed to make him a tad jollier?

And what would it mean to be fixed?

What are the most desirable personality types?

A workaholic isn't always a good thing.

Being forthright isn't always a bad thing.

Without sadness, we'd lose many great works of art.

Without psychopaths where would the horror movie industry be?

Which personality types are the right ones?

Obviously, if we could choose, we'd want to do away with the most destructivepeersonalities,

and this means we could end up ridding the world of dangerous criminals, or at least

reducing their numbers.

But how far do you go with this?

Where is the cut-off point between a good personality and a bad personality?

And who gets to decide?

But to return to the initial question of the reality of the human self, we have to ask

a question which seems less hypothetical by the day.

If our brains can be so easily manipulated, as we've seen it can be through electric pulses

and chemical treatments, then who is the true you?

Behind all these chemicals and your genetically inherited makeup, what is your real personality

type?

Is there even such a thing as a real you?

When you consider the fact that 95% of human decisions are made subconsciously, and the

rest are so clearly affected by exterior forces, the idea of free will becomes a little less

believable.

As does the notion that you, me, your aunt Sally and your best friend Steve possesses

anything close to what could be called a definitive, individual personality.

So the question who we really are inside may not have a fixed answer.

Number 3: Why is my reality the right reality?

As well as forming a personality type out of a random assortment of chemicals, the human

brain is also capable of creating its own subjective social realities, by perceiving

events and individuals in a way which pleases it the most.

This is why some people dislike certain religious groups, and others think they're hunky dory.

It's why some are in favour of gay marriage, and others believe it causes hurricanes.

Humans create their own social realities every single day thanks to some influential psychological

quirks known as cognitive biases.

Cognitive biases can make you warp facts and twist knowledge into your own version of reality,

and there are many stark examples of this to be found in everyday life.

The framing effect describes how humans react to certain choices when presented with either

a loss or a gain, and more often than not humans are drawn more to a riskier option

if a negative frame is presented, with positive frames causing you to avoid risk.

This was demonstrated in the recent EU Referendum in the United Kingdom, where the Leave vote

won by 52% to 48% with a campaign based almost entirely on fear.

This is despite the fact that the Leave campaign was seen as risky, with no real plan in place

regarding how the UK would operate post-Brexit.

The positive benefits of leaving the EU were mentioned by those in favour of leaving, but

they took a back seat to claims that jobs, power and money would be lost if Britain did

not depart the European Union.

This campaign won, albeit by a slim margin, yet such a closely run result clearly demonstrates

how some people can view the same concept under similar circumstances, and still come

out with entirely different viewpoints.

Obviously, you have to take a person's life experiences, circle of friends and media influence

into account.

But each of these comes with inbuilt biases too; including cognitive bias, which makes

you seek out information to back up your current opinions, and illusory correlation, which

makes humans perceive a relationship between two unrelated events.

There's that gay hurricane thing again.

And even though some things are easy to prove and disprove, other situations are a little

more complex.

Today you've got people arguing whether the gender pay gap exists, whether there are too

many welfare spongers, and whether micro-aggressions are the worst form of racism ever.

Who is to say which reality is the truth?

Is this even measurable?

Can anyone objectively analyse someone else's social reality?

Or do we all live in our own permanent social reality, one which is impenetrable to anyone

but ourselves?

Number 2: How the heck am I alive?

This next entry is a little lighter than the rest because my brain is tired and I'm trying

to figure out how biased and racist all my relatives were over Christmas.

But have you ever considered the astonishing reality of how you exist through everyday

life?

How complex it is.

How you've even survived the last 24 hours, let alone made it to whatever age you are

now?

Let's start with the past five minutes.

If you went to take a whiz, you could've slipped and cracked your skull upon on a wet floor.

Ten minutes ago you could've plugged in a toaster, only to be killed by the faulty wiring

some poor Chinese kid botched because his lunch break was about to start.

And how the bejesus did any of you survive the commute this morning?

Think about your route to work people.

If you're a driver you've just hurtled down the highway in a two-tonne metal can filled

with explosive liquid, entrusting your life to all the people who designed and built the

vehicle you were in, the road you drove on and the stop signs directing traffic.

You also had to trust yourself not to have a lapse in concentration or a mental breakdown

while in control of your vehicle, while also relying on thousands of other psychotic, hairless

over-caffeinated apes in motorised bomb-carts to do the same.

This pyramid of responsibility underpins our entire reality.

Every day we place our lives into the hands of thousands of others who have enabled not

only the existence of our world today, but also the worlds which kept our parents, grandparents

and ancestors safe too.

If Mitochondrial Eve had decided it was a good idea to poke a prehistoric bear with

a stick just for fun one afternoon, your bloodline and that of everyone today could've been snuffed

out before humanity even left the caves.

If you sit back and look at all the things that could've gone wrong in human history,

it makes no sense that you, I or anyone gets to experience reality today.

The sheer number of minute decisions taken to get you here is astonishing, and that's

before we even consider all the random occurrences and the junk going on in your body which needs

to work right just to keep you in good working order.

Ah well, it's a good job that none of this is real, probably.

Number 1: Is this all a game?

Elon Musk knows a thing or two about technology, at least I hope he does; has anyone actually

looked inside a Space-X rocket or a Tesla car?

There could be just a bunch of cats taped together in there for all we know.

But let's assume for a moment that Elon does know what he's talking about and that he understands

the potential for technology to change and manipulate our lives.

Does this mean he might be right when he says humanity almost certainly lives inside a simulation?

Are we the playthings of a superior race?

Have they seen and influenced all the weird stuff I've been doing when I thought nobody

was watching?

This theory originated in the first millennium, with ancient Indian and Chinese philosophies

first posing the question.

However, interest in the idea of simulated existence has increased recently, due to the

progress humanity has made in the field of virtual reality.

Just a few decades ago we were taking control of a yellow, pixelated ball to escape the

attentions of equally pixelated multi-coloured ghosts.

But today, we're on the cusp of creating fully-immersible three-dimensional environments, so is it really

so hard to believe that one-day virtual reality could become indistinguishable from real life?

The technology either does or will shortly exist that can create images with a higher

resolution than the human eye, audio with more depth than our ears can comprehend, and

sensations which feel as though you're actually putting your hand into a moist bowl of tapioca

pudding.

So if we continue on this technological trajectory, will we one day create a virtual reality so

believable, that someone could be born inside it with a conscious mind, and remain unaware

of true reality throughout their entire lives?

Musk believes so, as he feels that because humanity has the potential to one day create

advanced simulations, it is therefore almost inconceivable that we ourselves

are not living inside a reality created by a superior race because it's highly unlikely

that we were the first to achieve this.

In fact, he pegs our chances of being at the top of this virtual reality food-chain at

one in billions, and I do not like those odds at all.

This theory is now a genuine field of scientific inquiry, and the US Department of Energy's

Fermilab has undertaken a number of experiments whose results have been so far inconclusive.

But while some proponents of simulated existence are worrying that we could be approaching

the point where our simulation is turned off, due to our current technological advancements,

Elon Musk is a little more blasé about the situation.

He's discussed this topic at length, so much so that Musk and his brother have agreed that

whenever they're in a hot tub together, they will not talk about simulation theory, because

in his words, "it really kills the magic".

Wow.

I guess now we know why Elon wants a self-driving car; it's so he can feel up his siblings in

the back seat.

And that's our list.

Has this video collapsed your brain into a pile of useless goop?

Are you now so entrenched in misanthropic existentialism that you just want to stay

inside and forget the world exists?

Super.

While you're doing that please watch our recent video on the most shocking acts of mother

nature.

There's a monkey war and everything.

I DID.

I USE A PRIMER FIRST, A SPECIAL

SUPER ADHESIVE PRIMER BECAUSE

WE WERE GOING OVER STAINED

YOU WANT A GOOD PRIMER THAT

WILL LET YOUR PAINT ADHERE TO

THE WOULD.

YOU DID NOT HAVE TO DO ANY

NO, NOT WITH THIS PRIMER.

PEOPLE HAVE ASKED US ABOUT

THE COLOR WE CHOSE.

BEHIND THE BOOKSHELVES WE CHOSE

A SHERWIN-WILLIAMS AND THE

OTHER COLOR WAS CALLED PHON

BRINDLE ALSO SHERWIN-WILLIAMS.

IS THERE A REASON YOU USE

SHERWIN-WILLIAMS?

NO, A LOT OF TIMES THE

HOMEOWNER OR THE BUSINESS

PREFERENCE WHAT TIME THEY LIKE

A PARTICULAR BRAND SOMETIMES --

I GO TO SHERWIN-WILLIAMS AS FAR

AS GREAT SERVICE AND COLOR

CHOICES.

BUT REALLY GETTING YOU STARTED

IT IS ULTIMATELY YOUR CHOICE,

WHAT YOU WANT THE COLOR TO BE.

LET'S TALK ABOUT PICKING

PAIN.

THAT IS DIFFICULT FOR A LOT OF

PEOPLE.

WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST HOW THEY

START?

MOST PEOPLE START WITH AN

IDEA.

THEY THINK MAYBE I WOULD LIKE

THIS TO BE YELLOW, YOU START

YOU WANTED GRAY AND INITIALLY

CALLED IT ROBINS EGG.

YOU START WITH THAT AND LOOK AT

COLOR PALETTES.

ANY PAINT STORE HAS LITTLE COLOR

CHIPS.

YOU GAVE US THE BIGGER ONES.

WHY DID WE DO THAT?

WHEN YOU LOOK AT PAINT AND A

STORE, IT IS DIFFERENT THAN HOW

IT LOOKS IN YOUR HOUSE.

MOST PAINT STORES SELL SAMPLES

YOU CAN PAINT ON THE WALL.

I RECOMMEND PAINTING IT ON

DIFFERENT WALLS BECAUSE LIGHT

HITS THINGS DIFFERENTLY.

HERE, WE COULD NOT QUITE DO

THAT.

WE COULDN'T PUT SPLOTCHES

Upcycling Xmas Cards Pt. 2 - Duration: 4:11.

WE ARE GETTING CRAFTY WITH

YOUR OLD CHRISTMAS CARDS.

MARIANNE WILL SHOW YOU ANOTHER

WAY TO RECYCLE THOSE CARDS AND

HELP OUT A GREAT CAUSE.

THESE CARDS ARE SO GLITTERY.

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT

GLITTER OVER THE CHRISTMAS

HOLIDAYS THAT MAKES IT FEELS

FANCIER.

A COUPLE OF MINUTES AGO WE

SHOWED YOU HOW TO TAKE YOUR

PHOTO CHRISTMAS CARDS AND MAKE

A BOOK OUT OF THEM BY PUNCHING

HOLES IN THE TOP.

GETTING SOME INEXPENSIVE RINGS

AT THE CRAFT STORE AND CREATING

A LITTLE BOOK WHERE YOU CAN

EITHER ADD TO IT OR GO BACK.

IT IS ALWAYS FUN TO GO BACK TO

LOOK AT HOW FAMILIES HAVE

GROWN, HOW MARRIAGES HAVE TAKEN

PLACE. IT IS A NEAT THING TO

DO.

WE KEEP THESE OUT ON OUR TABLE

EVERY YEAR WHEN GUESTS COME

OVER.

ANOTHER THING THAT IS FUNNY IS

CREATING A LITTLE CHRISTMAS

TREE ORNAMENT.

TO DO THAT YOU WILL WANT TO USE

SOME OF THE PRETTIER CHRISTMAS

CARDS.

YOU NEED A ROUND WITH SOME

GRADUATED SIZES. MAYBE A SMALL

ONE FOR THE TOP, SOMETHING FOR

THE MIDDLE AND A ROUND FOR THE

LARGER PIECE.

WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IS GO AROUND

, IN THE CIRCLE, IT DOESN'T

HAVE TO BE JUST LIKE THIS. I

WILL USE MY FANCY SCRAPBOOKING

PICTURES -- SCISSORS TO CUT

AROUND THE EDGES. ARE YOU

TURNING THEM INTO CHRISTMAS

ORNAMENTS?

YEAH.

THIS DOESN'T REQUIRE ANYTHING

FANCY.

BE SCISSORS ARE ABOUT AS FANCY

AS IT GETS.

THIS IS SUCH A FANTASTIC

IDEA.

THE WAY MY HUSBAND AND I SHOW

OFF THE CHRISTMAS CARDS IS WE

DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TREE

WITH THE CHRISTMAS CARDS.

THAT IS FUN FOR KIDS.

THIS IS CRAFTS CAPITAL

MANAGEMENT WHOSE CARD I'M

DEFACING.

YOU WILL CUT IT OUT NOW AND

THEN ONE STEP UP TO THE CENTER

OF THE CARD.

TAKE IT AND TURN THE CARD THIS

WAY. YOU WILL CREATES A LITTLE

ROUND AT THE BOTTOM.

I AM GOING TO STAPLE THAT. SO,

IF YOU HAVE DONE THAT WITH ALL

THREE OF YOUR DIFFERENT SIZES

OF BROWN YOU SHOULD END UP WITH

SOME PIECES LIKE THIS. YOU

WOULD STRING A YARN OR THREAD

OF THE THE MIDDLE AND PUT A

LITTLE STYROFOAM BALL THERE ON

THE TOP AND THEN YOU WOULD PUT

THE NEXT ONE ON TOP AND DO THE

SAME THING.

THAT YOU HAVE A CHRISTMAS TREE

MADE OUT OF OLD CHRISTMAS

CARDS.

HASHTAG CRAFTY. NOW, ONE OF MY

FAVORITE THINGS TO DO FOR

RECYCLING CHRISTMAS CARDS IS TO

SEND THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO

CAN REALLY USE THEM.

IN NEVADA THERE'S AN

ORGANIZATION CALLED SAINT JUDE

RANCH FOR CHILDREN. THEY LOVE

TO GET YOUR OLD CHRISTMAS CARDS

TO TURNING THEM INTO BRAND-NEW

CARDS THEMSELVES.

THEY ARE LOOKING FOR CARDS OF A

SPECIFIC KIND THAT DON'T HAVE,

THEY HAVE SOME STIPULATIONS,

IT'S NOT JUST CHRISTMAS CARDS,

IT IS EASTER CARDS, BIRTHDAY

CARDS AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T

HAVE ANY WRITING ON THE INSIDE

COVER. THEY WILL CUT OFF THE

FRONT AND TURN THIS PART OF THE

CARD INTO A BRAND-NEW CARD.

I HAVE THEIR WEBSITE PULLED UP

THAT SHOWS SOME OF THE CARD

COLLECTIONS THAT THEY HAVE.

THEY SELL THEM FOR $70 FOR A

PACK. NOT JUST CHRISTMAS

CARDS.

FIVE BY SEVEN SIZE CARDS ARE

PREFERRED.

IF YOU HAVE A TON OF CARDS LIKE

I DO YOU CAN USE THE USPS FLAT

RATE BOX AND SEND UP TO 70

POUNDS WORTH TO THEM ALL AT ONE

TIME.

CAROL'S GRANDMOTHER USED TO

TAKE WHITE OUT AND RIGHT ON TOP

OF THAT.

THAT IS HOW SHE RECYCLED HER

CARD.

THIS ONE WOULD WORK BECAUSE IT

HAS WRITING ON THE INSIDE OF

THE COVER.

WE WILL LINK ALL OF THAT TO

GOOD DAY SACRAMENTO.COM ALONG

WITH SOME OF THESE CRAFT --

CRAFTY WEBSITES TO HAVE SOME FUN

Blenker Companies, Inc. Recruitment Video - Duration: 4:31.

I like working for a family run business.

I like that the Blenker family are builders, and are craftsmen, actually understand all

the parts and pieces that go into this product.

They think what happens on the ground and in reality, it's not just in the computer

screen.

They've thought through the entire process.

Since they have that experience, they know all the intricacies that you just can't learn

other than being there.

That's value that you just can't find in another components company.

There's always something new and innovative and something to new to learn each and every

day.

What I like is everyday is a new day, and every plan is different.

I love opening up the plans.

It's kinda like a jigsaw puzzle or a crossword puzzle, and every set of new plans, every

new day is a new, a new challenge.

And then I get to use the most cutting edge software that's available.

Not only is the software 3D modeling but it has an engineering component to it.

The fact that I don't have to do the same thing day in and day out is what I like about

my job.

It's fun to work at Blenker Companies because it's a different experience every day.

I like the fast paced and the constant challenge.

Days just fly by and there's lot of new stuff to learn all the time.

Always looking for the next big thing.

Always looking for innovation.

Way to make the process easier.

Blenker strives to be innovative in many forms and fashions one of those being its people,

its equipment, and you see that everyday.

One of the biggest things that sets this company apart from our competitors, I believe, is

drive and determination to be the best at what we can be at what we do.

We have a footprint that is environmentally friendly.

We not only take a project, and eliminate all the waste out of it, and send it to our

saws, which optimizes the whole project and all the cutoffs as small as possible.

We also run those saws off our solar panels.

It's nice that we're efficient and we're moving in the right direction.

All companies talk about success and growth and development but Blenker Companies really

works and helps develop their people to grow and succeed and whether it's a team lead or

people down on the floor, people are teaching and developing and helping enable others to

grow and develop and be better.

When new people come, they may understand the software, but I enjoy teaching them the

actual process of how a home goes together and the different ways of framing homes that

I've learned over the years.

You can start on the production floor and you can move your way through way and even

end up being the accounting manager and do payroll on a regular basis.

Blenker Companies kinda chose me to work here.I started out as a subcontracted carpenter.

I worked a few years.

It was either lose me or hire me on.

So they hired me on as a full-time production carpenter.

I worked in the field and in the shop as a carpenter for a few years.

Graduated from college.

Got a degree in Accounting.

Moved up into the office.

Started doing estimating.

A gentleman retired.

So I moved into my current position as the AR/AP Payroll Manager.

I've almost worked for this company for 20 years and enjoyed every minute bit of it.

I started out in design and now am the plant manager here and there's been a lot of opportunities

for growth and there continues to be.

I've went from not knowing much to being able to build a house.

Working here is like working with my family.

You know, we're made to feel a part of a family, and so that's helped me to grow, and to be

more confident in, in who I am.

When I was a kid, I was taught that you had to go to college in order to make your way

in life and often, it was kinda assumed that if you work with your hands, you didn't work

with your mind.

We all know that's not the case.

No matter where you've come from, or what you've done in the past, when you become part

of the Blenker family, we're gonna allow you to grow and give you all the tools and all

the encouragement to succeed.

Now, you're gonna have to work and you're gonna have to take that opportunity and seize

it on your own but if you want to work hard, and do well, there's plenty of room to grow

here.

We've got seven dolls that we'd like to share with you today,

and they're very beautiful, they look real.

This is one of them.

Her name is Payton.

A lot of the staff like holding her,

but a lot of the people who live here as well,

it helps them feel like they have somebody to care for.

They might be lonely.

They might get stressed really easily,

and sometimes just holding something that's soft and looks like a baby

is enough for them to make them feel comforted.

So I'll just pass her around if you want, you guys can feel her.

We've got six other ones,

I'm just going to start opening the boxes.

BEST Substitute For SUGAR: Best Sugar Substitute - Sugar Replacement - Substitute For Sugar - Duration: 5:03.

hey what's going on this is Alek with the

change your life diet once again

sharing my weight loss tips with you so

you can lose weight fast

now today i want to talk about what is

the best substitute for sugar and not

only the best sugar substitute

substitute but really what is your only

option as a sugar replacement ok now we

all know that sugar gets you fat by now

everybody should know that not only that

you know if you could assume a lot of

sugar you might wind up getting type 2

diabetes so sugar is definitely not good

for you you should avoid it at all costs

not just for health reasons but for

weight loss reasons also so if you want

something you know sweet-tasting what

are your alternatives now all the other

stuff out there like aspartame saccarine

and sucralose you know the pink the blue

the yellow packets they're all chemicals

i mean my opinion and all that stuff is

is no good for you you know anything

that's created in the laboratory and and

and you have a minute manipulate the the

chemicals and the modeling structural to

make something sweet you know i would

just buy that in general you don't know

if that's going to give your cancer or

not this all this stuff online about

aspartame just avoided at all costs so

there is one option that you have and

that is stevia okay uh I know a lot of

people tell me yeah there's only like it

because the taste isn't so great or has

a little bitter aftertaste and they can

use get used to it well my answer to

that is you know if it's your only

option and the other alternatives are

you know either you get really fat you

get cancer or you get type of diabetes

you know what are you going to choose

ok going to choose to get cancer by you

know consumer chemicals and you know you

know toxic things are you just going to

try to eat something that's natural and

might not have the greatest flavor of

course you know they make those

chemicals that tastes much better you

know but that's not good for years old

what i did i tried all those

friend brand you know I tried to do the

purevia truvia yeah I wasn't crazy

about it and it's annoying kind of

dealing with these little packets and I

found something called spoonable stevia

it's called stevia and actually find

found this online they sell it like

health food stores you can probably get

one of these big jugs for like you know

seventeen eighteen dollars you actually

scoop it out with a spoon like a human

being and not the windows those annoying

packets and I find the taste of that is

pretty good but in general you should

really get a custom to you know having

everything tastes sweet in your daily

you know eating eating life and another

good positive thing is that recently

starbucks came out with their own

they're starting to carry stevia in

their stores so what I used to do before

is actually carry on like a little

container with some of these stevia

packets in case i went to dunkin donuts

or starbucks and a cup of coffee but now

you don't have to you know Starbucks has

these has stevia now in their stores which

is a big thumbs up

awesome self and one more thing I want

to mention is that you know so yeah it

tastes so good

we're just deal with it it's the only

natural thing so you're actually gonna

live it help your life so you know deal

with it it's not you know the greatest

thing in the world on and one other

thing I i know a lot of people who you

know despite knowing all this that you

should avoid sugar should avoid all

these artificial sweeteners he'll tell

me we go out to eat and they're like you

know i'm going to die coke

I'm gonna order a diet coke or coke or

something and you know I don't hear it

just leaving all living all leave me

alone right now because they feel like

I'm going to die

bring out and it's very well if you want

to give yourself cancer go ahead

you know you want to eat and drink

ascertainable like winning when you know

that I mean I don't know why you

continue doing that hit you know some

people you just you know you can't argue

with them right so stevia is the way to

go it's your only option just get used

to it people

alright so on we liked the video please

like subscribe and leave your comments

and questions below if you are the most

amazing diet system and check out the

🕉😀 How to FREE Yourself from Depression / Stay as Awareness / Non-Duality Teacher Rupert Spira - Duration: 9:50.

It's this very subtle change of focus. Nothing changes.

You don't have to escape the feeling. Right there shining, not buried in the heart of the feeling, but on the surface of the feeling.

The light of your own being is shining, just give that your attention.

See that, see the knowing rather than the known.

I have some sort of brain condition and I have episodes of depression,

where I am just in bed sleeping for extended periods.

When you're just?

Can you repeat that last bit?!

I'm in bed for episodes, for long periods.

I'm just fundamentally immobilized.

They're episodic. They came and go.

The question that I have: When I'm in that space, when I am so heavily identified with the depression,

I can't access the knowing.

There is never a moment that I can actually somehow detach. I'm so in it.

Any thought about how to access the knowing, or how to fundamentally establish myself in that when I'm in that cycle?

I appreciate that it's difficult.

However what you are saying is: When a black image appears on the screen, the screen disappears!

Exactly!

When a black image appears on your TV screen, does your screen disappear? Does the black image obscure the screen?

No, it doesn't.

You wouldn't know that you were in a deep depression if the knowing of it was not present!

So, this knowing it doesn't need to be accessed. It's not buried deep down under layers and layers and layers of feeling.

Just like the screen is not buried behind the black image, veiled by it.

This knowing is shining fully, brightly, even in the deepest depression.

Well, that's very interesting when you say that, because when I'm in this deep dark space, there is this wanting to connect with the known.

Let me stop you.

You say 'When I'm in this deep dark place,' you are always the knowing of your experience, yes?

The screen is never buried in the movie, it's never lost in the movie!

When you have a depression, do you know anything of the depression other than the knowing of it?

I would say no.

All there is to the depression and I'm not trivializing your feeling,

all there is to the depression is the knowing of it, that knowing is shining right on the surface of the feeling.

It's not buried behind it. You don't have to separate yourself out from the depression and go looking for this knowing presence,

which is buried in the back. It's right there shining in this black image.

Just like when you see a black wall on a tv screen ...

The tv screen that was two minutes ago shining in a blue sky is equally shining in the black wall

In your depression, all you know of the depression is the knowing of it.

That knowing is not buried or veiled, covered, obscured, or lost.

That knowing is shining brightly in the feeling.

So give your attention to the knowing. You don't even need to give your attention to the knowing, because knowing is the attention which we give to objects.

So you just know yourself as that knowing.

It's like watching a black image on a screen and instead of focusing on the black image you see the screen.

Nothing changes. You keep looking at the same screen, but instead of saying 'I'm seeing a black wall,' you say 'I'm seeing the screen.'

The happiness that you are longing for in the depression is that screen.

And it's shining in the depression!

So it's this very subtle change of focus. Nothing changes.

You don't have to escape the feeling. Right there shining, not buried in the heart of the feeling, but on the surface of the feeling.

The light of your own being is shining, just give that your attention.

See the knowing rather than the known.

That is the happiness you are longing for. In other words happiness itself is appearing as this depression.

Just as the transparent screen appears as the black wall.

Only because you're rejecting the depression and looking for happiness elsewhere or looking for the presence of awareness elsewhere

That rejection of the depression and the insistence that awareness or happiness is somewhere else,

that is what compels awareness to seem as if hidden. It is your insistence that it is missing that makes it seem that it is so.

That makes perfect sense!

Yes, that's very helpful.

So when you discover the knowing in your depression, - the screen in the image - then turn around and face your depression. See what is left of it.

The thought occurred to me to ask myself the question 'Am I willing to be depressed for the rest of my life?'

What a thought.

It's not 'are you willing to be depressed for the rest of your life,' because if you discover this knowing in the depression

in other words if you discover the screen in the image, the depression can no longer stand,

because depression is unhappiness. It can no longer stand when you've seen the knowing.

That's why I say 'Look back at the depression and see what remains of it!'

You won't be able to find it!

The depression itself, the feeling itself will have been revealed,

the true substance of the feeling will have been revealed, which is happiness. Happiness is the substance of all feelings, even our deepest depression.

Well, it doesn't last. It never lasts.

The knowing is eternal. Stay with that.

Stay with the knowing!

Everything we have ever truly longed for lives shining on the surface of experience,

not just the background, not buried in the heart, but right in the midst of experience.

Everything we have ever longed for - peace, happiness, and love -

lives there shining brightly in all experience.

Kilkenomics 2016: the Undercover Economist - Duration: 7:31.

To what extent have we seen randomness

in financial markets?

Well, the classic idea of financial markets

is that they perform a random walk.

Today's price contains all the information that's available.

And it's a perfect reflection of that information.

And tomorrow's price is completely unpredictable.

It depends only on news.

And of course, the definition of "news" is that it's new.

You don't know it.

Clearly, that's not quite accurate.

That's not exactly how they work.

Otherwise, there would be no successful fund managers.

There would be no Warren Buffetts.

Various anomalies that people can take advantage of.

But I do think it's a very good place to start.

I think a lot of the mistakes that many investors

make are mistakes they make because they think that they

can beat the market easily.

That they're smarter.

That lots of people have skill and that skill

is worth paying for.

And I think the truth is, if you start with the assumption

that no one knows anything, you won't be too far wrong.

And you'll make a lot fewer mistakes

than many people would.

But in terms of forecasting, what

are the mistakes that people make?

I think the key mistake is in getting too attached

to a particular theory.

The wonderful study conducted by the psychologist Philip

Tetlock.

And he's been working on this for 30 years now.

And Tetlock and his colleagues have

focused on expert forecasts of macroeconomics, geo-politics,

and so on.

And the great thing Tetlock does is he always

makes the forecast specific.

They always have a time limit.

And the other thing that Tetlock does

is he waits to see whether the forecast comes true.

So he conducts these studies, interviewing

lots and lots of experts.

Getting them to make specific forecasts,

and finding out whether they got them right or not.

And what he's found is there are a group

of people who are actually pretty good at forecasting.

Not great, but they're less terrible than the rest of us.

And what they have in common is a kind

of psychological attitude.

It's not qualifications.

It's not inside knowledge.

It's not intelligence.

It's a state of mind.

And it's a very self-critical state of mind.

Tetlock and his colleagues called it actively open-minded

thinking.

You're constantly challenging--

Actively open-minded?

Actively open-minded thinking.

So you're constantly challenging yourself.

You're constantly saying, where might I be wrong?

Is there an alternative perspective?

You enjoy meeting someone who disagrees with you.

Not because you could have a fight,

but because-- well, if someone disagrees with me,

maybe I'm making a mistake.

Maybe I might learn something.

The other thing I think that's interesting

is, of course, many people the forecasting

error isn't what gets them.

It's the fact they make the forecasting error.

They're wrong, and then they won't change their minds.

They stick to it.

And of course, self-criticism and humility

can help you with that as well.

Help you change your mind and get out of a mistake

before you compound that mistake.

That's very interesting.

Because I have worked with over the years--

you know, an analyst, a company analyst in the city.

Or, an economist who says, I think

that, for example, sterling is going

to be at that price this time next year.

And sterling is a country mile away from that price.

And they stick to it.

And they stick to it.

And their mistake looks worse and worse and worse.

And then eventually, it's a volte-face.

They go the totally opposite way.

In the end, you overcompensate.

Yeah.

And this is just about your own psychology.

Two of my favourite economists-- great 20th century economists,

or even perhaps the finest economists in the 20th century,

John Maynard Keynes and Irving Fisher.

Irving Fisher, less famous.

In his day--

But no less brilliant.

No less brilliant.

And in his day, he was the most influential economist

in the world, even more than Keynes.

One of the things they had as a sideline is they both thought

their economic ideas could help them

forecast and could help them make money as investors.

They were both very enthusiastic investors.

They both completely missed the Great Depression.

They missed the Wall Street crash.

Keynes died a millionaire.

Fisher died bankrupt, in disgrace,

completely discredited.

They made the same forecasting error.

Whatever happened?

Keynes change his mind.

If you were to get two or three of the things

that in economics kind of-- not annoy

you, but the things that we shouldn't do that we do,

what would they be?

Well, there are a few, I suppose.

I guess the one-- the economic fallacy that most frustrates me

is lump of labour.

It's a classic economic fallacy, which

is basically all to do with the immigrants are stealing

our jobs.

And it's very clear that this can't

be right, at least in its simple form,

because every immigrant who comes to a country

needs a house to live in, a car to drive, food to eat.

And the immigrants consume.

Immigrants earn money and they spend that money.

And that creates jobs.

And of course, the immigrants will also fill those jobs.

But according to the lump of labour fallacy whereby

immigrants steal jobs, the best thing that a country could do

is just stop having kids immediately,

shrink the population.

Because the number of jobs never changes.

But if you have fewer and fewer people,

they'll get paid more and more to do the jobs.

I mean, it's just crazy.

So that is a very, very common fallacy.

And I think it does tremendous harm.

And we saw it in the Brexit vote that people

believed versions of this.

This brings me nicely up to the two big political events

of our times, our recent times.

One is Trump and one is Brexit.

With respect to Trump, do you think his rhetoric of populism,

and his rhetoric of protectionism,

and his rhetoric of the wall, is reflecting

the fact that globalisation is probably slowing down?

Globalisation is slowing down.

You can see it both in the regulatory environment

where it's just harder and harder to get trade deals past.

And actually, one might reasonably

ask whether they really are trade deals

or whether they're all kind of intellectual property

and other things wrapped up.

But anyway, these deals seem to be very, very difficult

to get passed these days.

But also, in the trade statistics.

Trade has been a growing part of the world economy

with a pause during the financial crisis,

really, for a generation or two.

The tide seems to be turning on that.

Maybe it's just a case of diminishing returns.

You can't keep expanding trade forever.

So as a matter of fact, the world economy

is very dependent on trade, but it's not

going more dependent on trade.

Add to that the fact that people are getting

very sceptical about trade.

I think they're only partly right to blame trade

for certain jobs disappearing.

You could also blame the microchip.

You can blame the robots.

And you can blame, of course, the financial crisis.

Tremendous stress on the financial systems.

There's a lot of different reasons

why the economy isn't going so well.

Now, in terms of what will actually happen with Trump,

nobody knows.

The scope of uncertainty is very, very wide.

And I always encourage people to think in terms of scenarios.

Tell yourself a really convincing, coherent story

about how it's all going to play out to really work

through the details.

And then, tell yourself another convincing, coherent story--

a different story that contradicts the first one.

And then, that helps us recognise the fact that we

don't really know.

But we can start asking sensible questions.

And the sensible question is not, what's going to happen?

The sensible question is, what are we going

to do when it does happen?

Tim Harford, thank you very much.

Thank you.

In Trump White House, Twitter Will Be In, 'Business As Usual' Is Out - Duration: 5:00.

In Trump White House, Twitter Will Be In, Business As Usual Is Out.

by Jack Davis.

Just as President-elect Donald Trump changed the dynamics of communicating with the American

people during his candidacy, his presidency will also usher in a new era of communication

between the White House and the American people.

Business as usual is over, Sean Spicer, Trumps incoming White House press secretary,

told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday.

Spicer said that Trump, who blazed a new communication trail with his use of Twitter, will not be

wedded to White House precedents.

I think the thing that youve seen with Donald Trump is that he doesnt, he doesnt

look to the past and say Ive got to conform to these precedents. He figures out whats

the best way, Spicer said.

Spicer said the traditional White House press conference will remain, but will become part

of a new mix of options that are still under discussion.

Earlier this week, Spicer said Trump will continue his Twitter use as president, saying

it will be a really exciting part of the job.

I think that his use of social media in particular is gonna be something thats

never been seen before, Spicer told Rhode Island news station WPRI. He has this direct

pipeline in the American people, where he can talk back and forth.

I think that allows him to add an element of a conversation thats never occurred,

Spicer added. He can put his thoughts out and hear what theyre thinking in a way

that no ones ever been able to do before. I mean, he does communicate in a much bigger

way than theres ever been before, and I think thats gonna be just a really exciting

part of the job.

Spicer told Hewitt Trump has many options.

maybe we do some town hall, you know, Facebook town halls. Maybe we go out and solicit

input from Twitter. I dont, I mean, the answer is were looking at a lot of things,

he said.

Spicer was clear that direct communication with the American people, which often bypasses

the mainstream media, will continue to be a major part of Trumps connection with

the American people.

Theres no question that you see through the platforms that exist right now, whether

its Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, hes closing in like 45 million people that he

can have a conversation with, Spicer said.

while we have to sort of do these press conferences because theyre part of

the fabric of our country, if you will, there are also some new opportunities that we can

be utilizing to bring more people into the process and have a conservation with the American

people and not just limit it through the filter of the mainstream media, he added.

When Hewitt asked Spicer about the impact of the changes on the mainstream media, Spicer

noted, Business as usual is over.

Spicer said Trumps communications strategy is not based on what the media wants, but

what the people deserve.

the President-elect looks at this and says whats best for the country? How

do we put America and Americans first and stop trying to figure out how we cater to

you know, pundits and the establishment class, big donors. He is putting Americans first

and foremost, Spicer said.

Spicer noted that the Trump White House will be listening as well as talking.

when he talks about Americans first, he means I dont care what a bunch of

elites tell me or people at a dinner party. He wants to know what American workers care

about, what American families care about, whats going to help American businesses

grow.

The goal of changing the communications mix, Spicer said, is to bring more Americans

into communications activities, respect the American taxpayer more, and yield a better

result.

Spicer said that Trumps communications plan flows from an overall philosophy for

the administration as a while.

I think thats where sometimes the liberal media gets this wrong. Its not saying were

going to treat it like a business, quote unquote, he said.

Its making sure that theres a mentality that says can we make sure we get the American

people a better product for their money so that theyre enjoying their lives better,

they have more opportunity, were growing jobs, wages have a better thing, and you know,

that regulations are a fundamental part of them, where were looking at them and saying

what can we ensure we do so that were not hampering businesses from helping our own

people get more in their paycheck, he said.
