YouTube Community Tab: Just How Powerful is it? Everything You Need To Know! - Duration: 4:31.The YouTube Community tab.
Ever heard of it?
Well if you haven't you will do soon as it's about to become one of the most powerful ways
to reach your audience and here's everything you need to know about it.
Welcome back to vidIQ everyone, my name is Rob.
If this is your first time here we are the Youtube tool and service that aims to get
you more views in less time.
Our tool is free to download, a link is in the description and while you're at subscribe
to the channel and click on that notification bell so you don't miss anything when we upload
new content.
Today's topic is the Youtube community tab.
It's been around in some form for years but it's just undergone a massive overhaul and
is now available to a lot more video creators so lets jump in.
No expense spared there in vidIQ special effects department.
So the community tab can be found on your channel page on desktop browsers.
As of time of recording this video, the feature has been rolled out to channels with more
than 10,000 subscribers.
The community tab is effectively a social media timeline for YouTube, much like facebook
or twitter.
You can post status updates...
You can post your latest videos...
You can post voting polls...
And you can even post pictures.
These post all act like YouTube comments.
You can like or dislike and love the comment but you can't pin it.
You can reply to comments though and we're delighted to tell you that our comment template
tool works on this page so you can quickly insert stock replies if you need to.
And one last thing, the community tab will moderate spam comments as well so on the face
of things it does look like another comment manager page, to really see the impact of
the community tab, we need to jump onto a mobile device.
This is getting ridiculous now.
Within the youtube mobile app your community tab will appear on your channel and it works
in pretty much the same way it does on your desktop.
You can post new things to the time as well as read comments and respond to them.
Now again, nothing too fancy here, if all this content were to stay in the community
tab on a channel page no one would see it, the good news is, it goes somewhere else too.
So now I'm logged into another account that is subscribed to vidIQ so if I check my subscription
feed I will see all the usual videos but what I also see is this post from vidIQ.
As a viewer of this post I can reply it like I would do any other post on YouTube.
So now you can see the power of community posts, they have the potential to reach all
of your subscribers.
I say potential because subscribers can turn off these community posts if they scroll to
the top of their subscriptions page, tap the videos and posts button and switch to videos
only.
Now to get a measure of the potential reach.
I posted this comment when I first started making this video.
Three hours later it has loads of likes and lots of responses.
I found that voting polls in particular are super popular especially if they relate to
your content and you can use community post to remind subscribers of older videos that
you think might be of some value.
However, there's two things to consider.
Youtube is not Facebook or twitter.
People come to watch videos not swipe through endless status updates, pictures and voting
polls so my recommendation is to post no more than once a day!
You do run the risk of those subscribers turning off your posts or, at worst, unsubscribing
from you completely.
Second point, up until now community posts have only been available to a select few youtubers,
now it's open to everyone with over 10k subscribers so you may end up with timelines that look
like this: completely flooded with these community posts.
So it's unclear the power of these posts from now on and whether youtube will need to refine
things to stop this from happening.
One more thing to mention these community posts can appear as mobile notifications so
again that has both its pro and cons.
And that's everything you need to know about YouTube's community posts, I would love to
hear your thoughts on whether you are going to use it and what impact it might have on
YouTube, enjoy the rest of your video making day.
Bye for now.
Another day done time to go for a dip.

What is JUST DANCE LIVE? Extended Version - Duration: 2:41.Just Dance Live brings the world of Just Dance to life
So that people can share amazing experiences together
in a space where they can be themselves.
So, one thing that is really great at Ubisoft is that
every time we go out of the video game industry, which is our core business,
we have the freedom to choose the best partners in the industries that we enter in.
I think creativity attracts creativity,
and what Ubisoft has managed to do with that product in particular,
amongst many other products, is extraordinary.
We understanding how they think and work and they understanding about how we think and work.
And I think bringing those two worlds together has now resulted in this product
which I think, and I know, is going to be a great success.
Because it touches on that core essence of people wanting to participate
and share tribal experiences together.
We organized a specific moment that was called The VIP Experience in a venue in Paris.
We invited a few fans of Just Dance, around 300 people,
and they didn't know what to expect.
And so we felt that we had a very feel-good experience bringing all generations together,
and we knew we had something special.
I think I want them to come not knowing how they're gonna enjoy it.
Be excited at every stage. We've got the three stages:
The entrance, the getting ready, and then the main show.
And those three stages, if we tick the box for those three stages,
I want them to come away going "I've just had the best night, fun night."
"I'm exhausted, but would I go again? Yes, I would."
Unlike in usual concerts where people are coming to see a show,
we are bringing the show to the participants.
So that you are surrounded by everything that will happen around you.
You will be actively participating in the whole show as we will be asking you to dance along.
We will have some soft pockets of competition
where everyone can participate and have fun all together.
The show wouldn't be the same without the audience.

baby powder has been a popular product for decades thanks to its pleasant aroma

product isn't entirely safe for small children because it can cause breathing
problems and even dry out their delicate skin so if you have a child who has
grown up leaving you with leftover talcum powder or you got one is a gift
and prefer not to use it try the following alternative uses for
this product list of unusual baby powder uses one eliminate grease stains when
your clothes or upholstery gets stained with any type of oily residue it's hard
to remove and a lot of times you have to resort to using harsh chemicals to avoid
this nuisance the next time it happens just employ one of the baby powder uses
by sprinkling some talcum powder on the stain and leaving it for a few minutes
before wipe and clean to quiet new shoes when you wear a new pair of
shoes it's common for them to squeak with every step you take this is because

The Only Outreach Tactics You'll Ever Need - Duration: 4:21.Hey guys we ran a poll on our facebook asking you what you want to learn about
and the number one thing that came back was cold outreach tactics so I'm gonna
give you my thoughts on that today. Alright guys so we're talking about cold
outreach tactics and for all my real estate agents out there there's really
three different strategies that I've seen successful and cold outreach in
this business. The first is door-knocking, second is cold calling, and the third is
social media, and in this video series I want to break down for you guys each
strategy and give you the campaigns that you can run and also some best tips and
practices that you can apply to the strategies to drive better ROI and in
this first video I want to talk about the first strategy which is
door-knocking. When it comes to door-knocking there's really four
different campaigns that I believe you can run the first is your geographic
farm so this is the neighborhood you're targeting the zone you're targeting to
be the dominating agent the number-one agent you need to make sure your
door-knocking your geographic farm at least once a month. The second campaign
is just listed just sold so you just got a listing make sure your door-knocking
the 50 closest neighbors even a hundred if you can of that listing and what I
love about this campaign is it gives you two touch points when you list the home
and when you sell the home so you have another opportunity to come back around
and turn a prospect into a client. The third campaign is your open house and
when you get the listing you're obviously going to do an open house to
help you sell that listing so knock the doors of all the neighbors invite them
to a private neighborhood open house where they can get the first look a
sneak peek into this home and then the fourth and final campaign is make sure
your door-knocking FSBOs and expired listings. Kevin Ward he's a great
real estate coach out there he calls these "turbo homes" and what he suggests
is start your door-knocking with a turbo home go to an expired listing first a
Fizbo first because there's higher chance of closing and then branch you
out through there to the five to ten closest homes so there are the four
different campaigns you can use for door-knocking. When it comes to the best
practices and tips the first tip I'll give you is set expectations when you
approach a home the truth is that person's gonna want to know who you are
what you want why you're there and quite frankly when you're gonna leave and so
you need to make sure you set expectations so they don't think you're just going to
hang around forever I've heard a great tip that says
tell them how long you're gonna be tell them that hey I just have a minute but I
want it to stop by. Set the expectations to make them feel comfortable. Second tip
is ask a lot of questions. You don't want to be intimidating if you want to get
them talking so you need to ask a lot of questions. Are they curious what their
home's worth? Are they actually living in their dream home? Are they thinking about
moving? Get them engaged third tip is always offer something of value when
your door knocking this could be a market analysis it could be a community
events calendar it could be American Lifestyle magazine offer something of
value that they'll remember you by. The next tip is dress for success. Guys I
don't care if it's blazing hot or is freezing cold make sure you dress for
success it's going to be bringing professionalism to your attitude and to
the business. Then the next step I'll give you is set a start time in a stop
time. It's critical when you go out door knocking you're gonna face rejection and
you're gonna get a lot of people who don't answer so it's easy to get
depressed so you need to be committed you need to start a start time in a stop
time because if you don't do that you're gonna get out there get discouraged and
you're gonna give up before you should and then the last and final tip which
really is the most important is it's about mindset and controlling your body
language. You need to understand that the next home could be the home that changes
your day, your week, your month, your year, and so guys keep going when you
face that rejection and then your body language when you approach someone and
you're door-knocking, don't intimidate them don't come up with your hand so you know
cross like this don't look them dead in the eyes to intimidate them be upbeat
smile be energetic that's gonna help them engage with you and ultimately give
you a chance to maybe earn them as a client so there you have it guys there
is the overall strategy on door knocking for different campaigns that you can run
and some tips that you can apply to generate more ROI for your business if
you like these tips subscribe to our YouTube channel of course comment below

Your CORE Advantage with Susan Swafford - Duration: 17:21.hello and welcome to wisdom included I'm Shelley Carney
it's Friday with friends and I'm happy to introduce you to my friends mentors
and fellow entrepreneurs so they can share their stories with us today I'm
pleased to introduce the founder of core advantage and the women investors
Network Susan Swofford
a collaborative gathering
place especially for women to share personal stories support and advice
wisdom included hi Susan thanks for being with us today thanks Shelley for
having me would you tell us your story well I grew up in a tiny little town 672
people that's less than 200 families in that neighborhood and I had after a
college I were after a high school I had gone to college for a semester and then
entered the United States Air Force stayed there for about seven years I
just loved that but then I had gotten out and started raising a family got
married to my husband Gary and I was climbing corporate ladder for a season
and then I decided that I needed to leave corporate America and stay home
and raise my kids so then after that when my kids decided that they were
gonna grow up and be adults it's like well what do I do now mm-hmm so I
started moving into a different direction with a lot of support and
encouragement from my husband and we started moving in a direction of
entrepreneurship and started learning all kinds of things that we had never
learned before so both my husband and I decided that we were going to go down a
private lending road so we got coaches and mentors and a lot of Education and
we started that business and we we started that business with the
intentions of learning out-of-the-box financial strategies what we realized
with over 30 years of my husband being at work is that the financial system is
broken it doesn't work and our financial condition at that time was the same
after being married many years as it was when we first started
and that's because of taxes and inflation and it eats away at our
purchasing power so we started moving in that direction of looking at different
financial strategies that won't move us out of the box and make a difference for
retirement because we didn't want to live in a retirement in poverty right so
we moved in that direction and as we were getting that financial education
and we were learning more and more about the financial condition of women yes oh
my heart was really there my husband had two heart attacks and with that in mind
and me leave in corporate America I was thinking about where am I going to be
mm-hmm if he has another one where am I going
to because I don't have that 401k and they're waiting for me for retirement
I'll have any of that so started digging a little bit more realizing how
difficult it is for women in retirement years we had gone to a real estate
investors Club meeting one time and I met a woman she just started doing real
estate investing which is a very hard job and she's 64 years old and I asked
her why she was doing it and she had said because she recently realized she
didn't have enough money to retire on so our our desire was to really reach out
to women mm-hmm and tried to give them enough courage and inspiration to take
some risk and step out in faith and start business so that's where when came
from the women investors Network I started doing that for the purpose of
giving business training workshops to women entrepreneurs right and that's
where we met it is so um I know a lot of women who you know you as you saying you
leave your job to raise the kids because that's important it's really an
important job probably one of the most important jobs is being a mom and being
there for your kids um my mom what had to work when I was
growing up so I knew I wanted to be home for my kids and I did the same thing so
when you get to where your kids are off to college and you're wondering now what
can I can be a mom what else can I do you feel like you don't have you're not
enough you don't have the skills and the training that are necessary to get a
level of job that that would be appropriate for your age you might be
able to get something as a start out you know minimum wage at a fast-food or
department store or something but to get something that that would be appropriate
for your age you really have to start your own business or collaborate with
somebody who has a business so how does somebody go about doing something like
that I think the biggest thing that they need to do is to get a coach okay but
you have to before you even get a coach you kind of have to know where it is
that you want to go and even before that you have to dig deep inside to see what
your own strengths are okay so if you find out who you are at the core and
then you start applying those things and what are you interested in start making
a list of different different things I remember when I started venturing out
and I was thinking I don't know what in the world I could possibly go do all of
the education I have and all of the experience is kind of just washed down
the drain now because I've been out of that area for so long right and things
change so quickly it does but that's a lie - that's a lie that we believe all
of it matters and that's what I have come to realize that all of it matters
and if you just add it all up it's not washed away it just moves you into that
other direction and that's what half of them with me I started looking at what
it is that I have done throughout the course of my life and I developed my
purpose statement out of that and it's to make true and sustainable growth or
change in my life but in other people's lives and I built that purpose statement
off of all of the things that I have been involved in and when I realized my
purpose statement there's just no turning back from that and I can move
forward now in that direction so I think the first thing you need to do is really
find out who you are at the core and what passions do you have what do
you enjoy doing and then get a coach to back you up and I personally believe
that a performance and accountant the building coach is the best because that
was one of my best best coaches that I've ever had was an accountability
coach because you're gonna hit roadblocks
you're gonna hit discouragement and how are you going to get over that you need
someone that's going to come alongside of you and encourage you and inspire you
and point out things that you're kind of missing that you're not seeing in
yourself so every time when we were doing the private lending the education
and learning that whole new avenue we would get discouraged it was either I or
my husband we would get discouraged because it was just so new to us but we
had our coach that was there that we you met with on a weekly basis and then she
could just come in and encourage say the right thing and that moved us forward if
we hadn't had a coach we woulda quit a long time ago but now instead of
quitting we don't just have one business we have two so I would say get it and
find out who you are and then get a coach to back that up with what passions
that you have okay well on this channel I do try to address some things like
motivation mindfulness meditation and manifestation and those things were very
interior but I know that you have some tools that you've brought to show us
today so why don't you show us this book that you have well this little book here
is my newly created one and it's a workbook and it is called free to be me
discovering your full color and on the front of it if you see it's just a
little bit of color here because I believe when we are born we are born
with specific gifts mm-hmm that we're wired to go and live out but then
somewhere a long life we lose the color so when people are starting out with a
new business they focus in on the why we here teachings all the time
about bringing clarity to your why who your market is going to be and all of
that and that is all addressed in this book and it is all very important but I
believe the most important thing is the first one is your who who are you at the
core when you can identify who you are at the core you start bringing color
into back into your life and on the back of the book it's all in full color and
so that's what this book is about it starts with the who digging down deep to
see who you are and then it addresses those other w's so this is a workbook
that people can work through and fill in incorrect and do do they are they able
to get this online or purchase it from you it's not online at the moment but
because I just did it I actually this was the foundation of my Cuba
presentation that I recently did and it is going to be available at the December
when meeting Mary Cole all right so tell people how to get involved in win or if
they would like to learn more about core advantage okay well when is the women
investors network and each letter stands for a specific thing so the W is women's
issues we talk about women's issues from from whatever that is all kinds of women
issues that we face financial whatever the investing is investing the is for
investing and it's not necessarily the private lending investing that I do
out-of-the-box strategies are like that but it's investing in your in your life
in yourself and your education the N stands for networking to impact
community so that's kind of what Wynne is all about and right now we are being
hosted by spur line supply company down in the old town area right behind Hotel
Albuquerque we meet the second Wednesday of the month at 10:30
normally 10:30 to 12:00 but in December we have a special event going on and
some of the wind' members are going to be having
handmade items there so we've extended the time to two o'clock okay now if
people in the community are interested in joining us at that is that something
that's open no absolutely so any woman who would
like to come we would love to have her come and there is no cost to attend it
is a free network it's a it's a pay it forward kind of network so it's a place
to come and collaborate and just have fun and build relationships right okay I
enjoy it a lot you always have the members speaking some time during the
meeting and I think that is very empowering that's it's an empowering
group because you provide that opportunity to everyone no matter how
shy they might be or how new they are at their business there is that opportunity
to not only meet other women but to speak and be in front of them as a
leader that's it's a place to learn and it's a safe place to learn mm-hmm so
that's that's one of the things that I really like about it is that they have
felt very very comfortable standing up in the room and you know DIF livering a
pitch can be a little you know intimidating right so we have had them
come up and they get more and more comfortable doing that we have the
members once a month each month we have a member speaker so we ask for the
members to sign up and we give them 15 minutes to give their presentation so
it's a great place to hone in on those skills that are very needed whether it's
a fifteen minute presentation or just a 60-second pitch it's a place to really
learn how to do that now I understand there's a Wynn global that's that's
coming together so tell me about that it is it's coming together a little bit so
we're working on that meeting people all over the globe and so we want to
incorporate those people and to win global and what that's going to be is a
place to network globally so if you have a business that can extend outside of
New Mexico you're going to be able to have more connections that reach across
the globe that you normally would not be able to have right like I can do
interviews with people from other country's through Skype which would be
awesome yeah so you know you see this and you're interested let me know okay
so we have the event coming up in December and I know that you're also
starting a new group that is more of a mastermind group coming up in January is
that correct that's what we are working on so this is going to be an extension
of when but it's gonna be for women who are very serious about wanting to take
their businesses to the next level this will be a membership fee for it but it
is gonna be very strategic so I would just love for women to come and be part
of that as well because it really is gonna move them in a whole new direction
that sounds very exciting um is there anything else coming up that you want to
tell us about there's always lots of exciting things little bit more about
your trip you just check the Cuba trip was phenomenal it was absolutely
wonderful we had gone there to go speak up about
this and so it was great but the the thing that was so fabulous
was that we got to spend two days in Cuba and meet with women entrepreneurs
and hear how it is to be an entrepreneur in a communist country so that was very
interesting to go there and hear what they did the women entrepreneurs well in
in Cuba they make the same amount of money so it doesn't matter if you're an
attorney a doctor or a factory worker you make about the same twenty to thirty
dollars a month that everybody makes so there's a lot of people and primarily
women who are living leaving the public sector and they are joining the private
sector because they are flourishing more in the private sector so one of the
entrepreneurs was an attorney and she left that field to make soap and sell
soap so she has this little shop that's what she's doing another one was a
doctor and she left that and she makes handbags
so it's very different there it was very interesting to see how things are run
there as far as being an entrepreneur and the thing I think that was the
biggest takeaway from me was to see how hard it is to be an entrepreneur and how
deliberate and focused that they are to move into being an entrepreneur they
have more at risk than we do you know so I found that to be very encouraging and
I hope that I'm gonna have a time-it win to share that information with the
ladies wonderful yeah and I know that you are all sort of
speakers so perhaps somebody out there would like to have Susan come and speak
to your group about what she does for these entrepreneurs in these other
countries who are just struggling against their government and their
society and the way things are and trying to make things better so um that
would be a wonderful opportunity and we'll have Susan's information in the
description box below but where can they find you um you have a website and if it
is your core advantage you can find me under that and on meetup for win you can
go to meetup.com slash your core advantage and check that out because
it's a really great opportunity for women business owners and entrepreneurs
and I hope to see you there it's very soon thank you so much for speaking
Thank You Susan I appreciate your time Thank You Shelley and for wisdom
included I'm Shelley Carney leave a comment below if you built a business
based on educating and empowering women and tell me your story if this is your
first time here please take a moment to subscribe I'll continue to post new
videos on Wednesday and Friday each week featuring personal stories support and

Jim Barlow: More Impact Than You Can Imagine - Duration: 0:50.Athletics is a great forum for uniting people.
The playing field is one place where all different backgrounds and cultures can come together
and work together, and I think you see that at Princeton, you see that reflected in the
sports teams, you see that reflected on the court, in training.
Hearing what the seniors say about their experiences at Princeton, not only on the team but in
general on campus and academically, hearing what they say Princeton has meant to them
and the lifelong friendships they've formed from being a part of our team, it gives me
a great sense of pride that we've been able to create something special in terms of an
environment that fosters these kinds of relationships.

Top 10 INSANE Sleepwalking Stories - Duration: 8:13.Have you ever sleepwalked before?
Maybe you have someone in your family that sleep walks!
Its a really strange phenomenon that happens to almost 30% of adults at least once in their
life.
Ive gathered the craziest examples of sleepwalking that will either make you laugh, cry or fear
for your life.
My name is Danny Burke and this is the top 10 INSANE Sleepwalking Stories.
Also guys dont forget we now have a Patreon so if you want to check out what cool personalised
stuff you can get from us for showing your support then head over there, the link is
in the description box!
Coming in at number 10 we have Kenneth Parks.
This is the incredible story of a man who who's depression triggered a horrifying sleepwalking
event.
Early in the morning of May, 23rd 1987, this Toronto man got up, got in his car, drove
to 10 miles to the house of his parents in law and attack them.
He killed the mother and but the father survived.
He then handed himself in at the nearest police station.
He had no memory of the event and no motive to do it.
A team of psychologists argued in court that he was sleepwalking and he was acquitted of
murder.
What do you guys think of that?!
Was he really sleepwalking and even if he was, does that make it OK?
Next up at number 9 we have Rachel Ward.
In May 2009, this 18 year old British student got up, put on a jacket and then slept walk
out of her bedroom window and fell 25ft to the ground.
The landed feet first right next to her car and quickly collapsed to the ground.
Amazingly, she was still not fully awake at this point and was only semi concious.
Rachel started to scream for help.
Her parents found her and took her to hospital.
They feared the worse but Doctors were amazed to find she had not broken a single bone in
her body.
What might be even more amazing is that after all of this, she still didnt wake up properly
until the NEXT day.
Im sure that was an interesting catchup chat between her and her parents ...
Coming in at the number 8 spot we have the email.
In 2005, the story emerged of a 44 year old woman who woke up and starting sending emails
in her sleep.
She turned on the computer, logged in and starting sending strange messages to her contacts.
They were written in a mix of upper and lower case letters and made no sense at all.
One read -come tomorrow and sort this hell hole out.
Dinner and drinks.
4pm.
Bring wine and caviar only- , another email simply said -what the …- … this story
helped to popularise the term zzz mailing because so many people were starting to do
it back then.
Whats gonna happen now?
Are we gonna have sleep snapchatting?
Sleep YouTubing?
I hope I dont upload one of these while Im sleepwalking …
At number 7 now we have the Lawn Mower.
In 2005, an incredible story emerged about a woman called Rebekah Armstrong who woke
up one night to find her husband Ian mowing the lawn completely naked.
The noise had woken her up.
She watched in disbelief and decided to not wake him up because she had heard its dangerous
to wake up a sleepwalker.
Instead, she simply unplugged the electric mower.
He then continued to mow the lawn without actually mowing it.
The next day, Ian didnt believe her but quickly accepted it - presumably because theres no
way youd make something up this weird.
Its too weird.
Next up at number 6 we have The Card Game.
Irrepressible87 said that one night when he was 11, his Dad came home late from work and
saw him in his room sitting cross legged on the bed with his fingers spread as if he was
holding cards.
His Dad said hello but then realised the room was dark and his eyes were closed.
Despite this, he still looked at his Dad and then said out loud -every time I play this
game, I get my ass kicked- … as soon as that last word came out, he slumped and collapsed
out of bed and onto the floor.
Kinda makes you wonder how many weird things the Dad didnt see!
Coming in at number 5 now we have Turtles.
Reddit user Amphi Biology29 said that when she first married her husband, she woke up
one night to find him gone from their bed and a metal rattling sound coming from the
bathroom.
She could see through the cracks that the bathroom was pitch black.
She knocked on the door and asked if he was OK and if she could come in, he said yes.
She opened the door to find he had taken the shower curtain down ring by ring and was half
way through taking the blinds down.
She asked him what he was doing and he calmly replied -because the is what ninja turtles
are made from- … it was then and only then that she realised he was sleep walking.
Presumably because ninja turtles are made of you know, turtles.
Coming in at number 4 now, Hannah Abdiel had a terrifying sleepwalking experience and remembers
the nightmare that came with it.
In the dream, she met her doppelganger - a girl who looked just like her but slightly
better in every way.
She looked into Hannahs eyes and said -When you dream, youre in my world.
I want to live in your world.
I want to trade places with you- ... Hannah grabbed her cellphone and began backing out
of her apartment with her eyes on the girl.
Suddenly, a black shape exploded from a closet and she ran out of the front door when she
heard a gravelly voice say -where ya goin Dolly?- the black shape finally caught her,
waking her from her dream.
She found that she had slept walked the whole thing and woke up in a crumpled heap on the
staircase with her cellphone gripped in her hand.
At number 3 now we have the Crystal Ball.
This one comes from Reddit user Stezer who said that he is no stranger to sleepwalking
but one story stands out above the rest.
One night his girlfriend woke up to see him standing on the end of the bed with his hands
around the ceiling light bulb … he was moving them around as if the lightbulb was a crystal
ball.
Needless to say, his girlfriend was freaked out and tried to stop him but instead, he
kept saying -sssshhhh … dont touch it, it will fly away- … that is, insanely weird.
I dont know wether to laugh or cry at that one … maybe both.
Next up at number 2 we have The Cold.
In January 2009, a 51 year old man from Wisconsin slept walked out of his house in sun zero
temperatures and walked into the night.
His body was found the next morning 190 yards from his house, hypothermia was the cause
of death.
Investigators were astounded that someone could sleepwalk so hard that not even deathly
cold can wake them up.
They suspect it may have something to do with the painkillers he was taking at the time
… And finally at number 1 we have The Chef.
Robert Wood is a retired chef who quit his day job and turned it into a night job.
Despite being retired for years, he used to get out of bed, go to his kitchen and prepare
meals.
Stir fries, omelets, spaghetti bolognaise - you name it, he cooks it in his sleep.
This can happen up for 4 or 5 times a night.
At first it started out as a bit of a joke but eventually, the couple became concerned.
They were only getting a few hours of sleep and were also worried that he could start
a fire without realizing.
His wife said that although the food looks amazing, she has never eaten it.
I hate it when food goes to waste so I cant imagine waking up to find that Ive cooked
and wasted half of the contents of my fridge.
Poor Robert.
Well, I for one will be strapping myself to my bed for the rest of my life so that I dont
end up in a part 2 of this video.
Would you guys like a part 2 though?
Let me know, Im Danny Burke and Ill see you in the next video ...

How To Stop Worrying About Everything - Duration: 13:30.Worry, fear, panic, anxiety, those are the biggest thieves of our productivity and
happiness. Today at Live On Purpose TV, how to stop worrying about everything.
So today at Live On Purpose TV, we get to do a quick primer on worry which is one of
the euphemisms or one of the words that we picked to describe anxiety. Anxiety is
a clinical condition, a diagnosis, it's also a common experience that we as
human beings have. I'm thinking of a quote that I heard from Dan Zadra who
said, "Worry is the misuse of imagination." I like that. Worry is what? It's when we
imagine that some unwanted thing is going to happen, right? I mean is that a
simple enough definition of it? And we don't know what's going to happen. Notice
that we don't know how are you doing next week, you don't know but you've got
something to do with it. As you imagine what's coming for you, there are two
directions that your imagination might go with this. You might imagine that
things are going to get better than they currently are, that would be an upgrade.
You might imagine that things are going to get worse than they currently are,
that would not be an upgrade, that's where worry is triggered.
Let's take a look at the two components of anxiety or worry or fear, pick any of
those words that fit whatever your experience is with this. There is a brain
component, there's a mind component. The brain and the mind are not the same
thing, your brain isn't your mind any more than
your toe is your mind, it's part of your body, your mind is you, the thinker, the
one that's doing the cognition and the evaluation and the creation for that
matter. So let's talk about each of those. First of all, the brain, quick version
different parts of your brain do different things. The part of your brain
that controls your fight-or-flight response is the part that's causing the
problem here. To understand, just understand that different areas of your
brain have different jobs. Like the part that controls your eyes, eyesight vision,
it's clear in the back of your head, it's called the occipital lobe or the visual
cortex, that's located in the back part of your brain. There's another part that
controls your muscles, there's a part that controls speech and language and
there's a part that controls keeping you safe in the face of danger. We're going
to collectively call this part of your brain your limbic system, it includes the
amygdala and some other structures that trigger the release of chemicals into
your bloodstream that prepare your body to do one of those two things, to fight
or to run away, fight or flight. This fight-or-flight
response is actually a very important mechanism to keep you safe and alive,
it's the way your brain is supposed to work.
The problem that we run into is that the limbic system, being in a primitive area
of your brain, doesn't do any thinking, it's not a higher cognitive area like
this part behind your forehead, the prefrontal cortex is more commonly
associated with thinking, logic, problem-solving, all of that kind of fun
stuff, limbic system is not interested, it doesn't have that responsibility so it
simply reacts. Now because it's in a primitive part of your brain, the limbic
system cannot discern and quite frankly, it doesn't care, between a threat that is
real and a threat that is perceived, it's all the same thing to your limbic system,
that's why we go on rollercoasters. Do you like roller coasters? Some people
do, some people don't, it gives you quite a thrill to be on a roller coaster. Why?
Because your limbic system is perceiving a huge threat and based on that threat,
it secretes chemicals into your bloodstream, the combination of which
causes a sense of thrill or euphoria or terror, depending on how we're interpreting it.
Did you know you can get the same feeling driving your car off of a cliff?
Yeah, physiologically same feeling.
Psychologically, it's a whole different ballgame. As long as we feel that we have
control over it, we call it entertainment, like the roller coaster. As soon as we
don't sense any control over what we're feeling,
we call it terror, fear. Physiologically, it's essentially the same reaction so in
a condition of anxiety or worry, chemically, what's happening here is a
result of that limbic system response to threat which triggers chemicals into our
bloodstream and we're off to the races with the feelings, okay,
and it'll either be positive or negative, depending on the context. So that's the
brain piece, what are we going to do with the brain piece? We want to calm down
that limbic system response. The quickest way that I know to do this is through
breathing, slow, deliberate, intentional breathing, that will allow you to reverse
that process of the fight-or-flight response, it alters or restores the blood
flow back to the higher cognitive areas of your brain so that you can actually
get the thinker involved, we're going to need that for the next step. So whether
it's breathing, meditation, yoga, mindfulness practice, exercise, there's a
lot of ways that you can calm that limbic system response. We've posted some
videos about some of those ways, do a little bit of research find what works
well for you but we want to calm down that
fight-or-flight response, okay. That's the brain piece, let's go over to the mind.
Now the mind is you, it's the thinker, it's the decider, it's the agent inside
of the machine, that's the part where we get to look at our own thinking. I've
talked to you before about metacognition. Metacognition is that process of
thinking about our own thinking and that's a key to our success here, as we
think about our own thinking, we'll be able to take a higher
level of control and exercise choice over what direction our thinking is
going. Here's the bottom line for anxiety, there's a conscious portion of our mind
and a subconscious portion of our mind. Conscious means aware, awareness like
you can explain to me what's going on consciously, you're aware of it.
Subconscious, sub means below, like subway, submarine, subcontractor, subconscious
below awareness, you're not aware of what's going on down in your
subconscious mind. Now you can become aware of it but by definition,
subconscious means that it's below your awareness, that's where the problem
originates, in our subconscious mind, there's a question, a nagging question
that ties into anxiety and worry. The question is, what if? What if? What if this,
what if that? What if I fail? What if I get rejected? What if I die now? It's
subconscious so you're not always aware of it, you can become aware of it but as
long as it's in the subconscious realm, we've got a little problem that happens
because your subconscious mind has a nasty habit of answering its own
questions, answering its own questions and if you don't give it a conscious
answer, it will come up with its own and it's got a default answer to the
subconscious what if question and that default answer is, "Oh my gosh, you can't
handle that. Oh, we can't handle that!" Okay? In probably that tone of voice because
it gets really panicky and there's this nervousness around if you can't
handle something, if you believe that you can't handle something, what does that
look like to that limbic system, protective system in your brain? Huge
threat. Could there be a greater threat then you can't handle this? I don't think
so. That triggers the chemicals, we're off to the races with fear, anxiety,
panic, and worry. So here's the key, we get to answer the what if's, this is
simple but simple and easy are not the same thing, we get to pull those what if
questions up from the basement of our subconscious and answer them truthfully,
in the light, according to principle and the answer that we're looking for is,
"I can handle that" with a level of confidence that allows us to get free
from the anxiety and the fear and the worry. How to stop worrying about
everything is to get to the answer that you could handle anything, anything.
Do you believe that? There's a lot of reasons why I believe that. Including
things that my clients have shared with me. Had a little kid whose parents were
murdered, he's the one that found him, could you handle something like that?
I asked him the same question, he's like, "Oh man. Hey, but I am handling it huh?" You see
what I'm talking about, there is no human experience that you can't handle. Now I'm
not saying that it would be easy or fun or painless, what I'm saying is, you could
handle it. I had one of my clients challenge me on that, well what if it
kills me? Oh yeah like you can't handle that.
People die everyday, that's harder on the survivors, I'm pretty sure. No, not to
be morbid about that but could you handle it if you died and not to burst
anyone's bubble here but nobody gets out of this alive. There's a predictable exit
strategy to this earth life and it's called death, could you handle that?
I guess you'd have to, right? One of my clients said that after I challenged him
about a belief of something that he couldn't handle and I walked him through
it. What if and in his case, this was a 15 year old boy who's afraid
that his mom would die, okay. Mom tried to reassure him by saying, "Oh honey, I'm not
going to die." She doesn't know that and in fact, it's a lie at some point, she will
die, won't she? So it wasn't serving him, his
subconscious mind knew that she might, that she could so we answered the what
if and as I pushed him along, I walked him through the whole thing, what if your
mom does, "Oh I don't don't want to think about" I know, I'm not asking you to set up camp
there, I'm asking you to visit and see if we can come up with a different answer.
I said what if she does then what's gonna happen, is somebody is going to break the
news to you, it's not going to be fun, it's going to be tearful, you're going to feel some
things. I walked him clear through putting on a suit for the funeral and
putting his boutonniere on the casket and it was a little brutal for him to
think about it but at the end of that, I saw him take a breath and I asked him,
could you handle that? His answer was brilliant, he said, I guess I'd have to.
and then he breathed in a way that showed me that he had released the
anxiety and said, now come on back, your mom still with us, isn't she? Yeah and I'm
grateful she is. Could you handle it if she does? Yeah, you could. See, as soon as
we get to the I could handle an answer, we release our subconscious from holding
us captive with that answer that says we can't handle it and it resolves the
anxiety. So you got two tools here that you can use, practice breathing, get that
limbic system to calm down, take care of the physical mechanism that houses your
mind and then on the mine site, answer the what if's, answer them truthfully,
let's get to the answer that you can handle it.
Folks that is the answer
to anxiety and worry and it's simple, simple and easy aren't the same thing so
it's going to take a little bit of work and get some help if you need it, there
are people like myself, there are professionals who will counsel and coach
with you to help you answer those what ifs.
The truth is, you can handle it, whatever it is, confident of that. You've got this.
You can tell I get excited about this topic. I think together, we can put an
all-out war on worry and fear and anxiety. Make sure you share this episode
and subscribe right down there.

8 Ways To Detox - Remove Toxins From Body - Duration: 7:25.Hi, this is Dr. West coming at you with a hundred and two years of healing about
the best ways to detox, what's in your environment,
what organs are involved and what's the best natural ways to get poisons out of
your system.
Hey everyone, this is the video about the best ways to detox and
so what is the best way to detox, the organs of detoxification, how to safely
detox because detoxification, that's been practiced for centuries by
cultures all around the world including the Ayurvedic and the Chinese medicine
systems and detoxification is about resting, it's about cleansing, it's about
nourishing the body from the inside out and by getting rid of and eliminating
toxins that are inside your body with the healthy nutrients and getting that
toxins out can help protect you from disease and renew your ability to
maintain optimal health through a range of different methods. So how does
detoxification work? Anything that's in your system, that you touch,
that you breathe, that you eat, that you drink, basically the body has to break it
down for food, it has to break it down for energy and really, in the best way to
describe what detoxification and is the breakdown or the cleansing in the
blood. This is done by getting rid of impurities from the blood, from the liver,
where the toxins are stored and where the toxins are processed and the body
helps to eliminate foods through the kidneys, through the intestine, through
the breath and lungs, to the lymphatic system but when these systems are
clogged up or they're compromised, the impurities are not properly filtered and
the body is adversely affected. Now a detox program can help the body's
natural cleansing processes by number one, resting and helping the organs
through fasting. You can get a stimulation in the liver and kidneys to
drive toxins from the body, you can promote elimination through the
intestines, the kidney in the skin and improve circulation of the blood,
it helps to refuel the body with healthy nutrients and detoxification works
because it addresses the needs of individual cells which are the smallest
units of life. Now that was said by Dr. Peter Burnett in Nature Path, a
co-author of the 7-Day Detox Miracle, his co-author is Stephen Barrie.
How do you know if you need to detox? Dr. Bennett suggests that everyone should
detox at least once a year. However, he cautions that detoxifying the
wrong way or a nursing mothers, children, and patients with chronic degenerative
diseases, cancer, or tuberculosis. So consult your doctor, your health care
provider if you have questions about whether detoxing is right for you.
Now the symptoms of needing to detox. When you have unexplained fatigue, sluggish,
elimination, irritated skin, allergies, low-grade infection, puffy eyes or bags
under your eyes, bloating, mental problems, mental confusion. How do you
start a detox? Well first, lighten up your toxin load,
eliminate things like alcohol, coffee, cigarettes, refined sugars, and saturated
fats, all of which is active toxins in your body and obstacles to your healing
process. Also minimize the use of chemical household cleaners and personal
health care products like cleansing, shampoos, deodorants, and toothpastes and
substitute natural alternatives, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be clean,
it just means less use, more healthy and effective cleaners. Another interest to
good health is stress which triggers your body and releases stress hormones
into your system, while these hormones and stresses in a disease, it just
aggravates or exacerbates or causes a risk factor for disease and while
hormones can provide the adrenaline rush to win a race or to meet a deadline,
in large amounts, they create toxins to slow down detoxification enzymes to deliver.
Now things like yoga, qigong and meditation are simple effective ways to
relieve stress by resting and resetting your physical and mental reactions to
the stresses of life. There are many detoxification programs and detox
recipes and it depends on the individual needs.
Now many programs follow like a 7-day schedule or a 30-day schedule
but as Dr. Bennett explains, it takes the body time to clean the blood. His program
involves fasting and liquids for two days, followed by a five-day diet and
they recommend a three to seven day juice cleanse. There's a simple fruit and
veggie detox, there's a smoothie cleanse, a juice cleanse, sugar detox and what
they call a hypoallergenic detox. So here's a couple different ways to
detox your body. After a detoxification program, you can cleanse your body daily
with these dietary supplements and lifestyle practices. So the first thing,
eat plenty of fiber, this includes brown rice, organically fresh fruits, vegetables,
beets, radishes, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, chlorella, and seaweed are
excellent detoxifying foods and we want to work on your liver and cleanse and
protect the liver by taking herbs such as dandelion, root, burdock, and milk
thistle, and drinking green tea, taking vitamin C which is my favorite vitamin
helps the body to produce glutathione a liver compound that helps get toxins and
poisons out of the system. Drink a lot of water, at least two quarts. Now this is
made easy by taking it like a 32-ounce a quart or stainless steel widemouth and
fill it out and drink it as much as you can and if you make the commitment to
drink one in the morning, one mid-morning, one at lunch, one in the afternoon, it
significantly helps. Now breathe deeply allows oxygen to circulate and we're
completely through your system, I like following a protocol called dragon
breath breathing and then transfer stress by emphasizing positive emotions,
deep thinking, prayer, meditation, journaling are all positive emotional
release techniques. Now hydrotherapy is by taking a hot shower for five minutes
followed by a cold shower followed by a hot shower followed by a cold shower, it
creates a pumping mechanism for your lymphatics and do this three times and
then get back into bed for about 30 minutes. Heat deprivation therapy like
sweating in a sauna so your body can eliminate waste through perspiration is
an age-old detoxification process. Dry brush your skin or trying to detox
through foot baths to remove the toxins through your pores, it's really helpful
and there's special brushes that are available at a natural product source
and so what's the most important way to detoxify? Exercise is what Dr. Bennett says,
yoga, jump-roping are good but walking one hour every day,
also try qigong, a martial arts based exercise that includes exercise
specifically for detoxifying and cleansing, as well as many other
exercises with specific health benefits. Now before you go into a radical juice
cleanse or a cayenne pepper or a gallbladder cleanse, I think it's a
good idea can to consult a health care provider that is versed in detox because
if you do this on your own, I have seen people that have got themselves into a
predicament, I'm sure there's many people that don't,
I think detoxification on all levels is healthy, I think it's really good for you
and I think it can help prevent disease. So getting that junk out of your system
is only going to be healthy for you. This is Dr. West, we'll see you in the
next video.
So we just covered a video on environmental toxins and the best way to
detox. If you perceive value, please like us and if you click on the bell, you get
to notice every time we send out a video and I'll see you tomorrow.

Vlogmas #1: I'm Annoying You With My Face Everyday - Duration: 2:36.(marker scratching)
(electronic video game chime)
- Hello.
So today is an introduction to my 31 days of uploading
during the month of December,
also known as Vlogmas.
Actually, you will be seeing me for about 32 days,
because yesterday I uploaded an official video
for the last month,
or last day of November, but yeah...
Basically what we're doing is,
you're just going to see a lot of videos,
more like Vlog-style videos because
I don't, I don't know.
I just feel weird about doing like really big, educational,
really properly formatted and scripted kind of videos
for this kind of thing, but we'll see what happens.
Depends on what's happening in the world, stuff, you know.
They won't all be Christmas themed,
although I will be wearing this sweater, okay.
I just bought this for this occasion.
A cat sweater with bells, and occasionally you will see Santachu
to make it a little more festive, so...
Yeah.
That'll be cool. You'll see some makeup videos; one makeup video.
See my filming routine.
I'll talk about some stuff, some holiday stuff; and I don't know.
I thought, I want to try this.
I did attempt a VEDA, VEDA, whatever, vlog every day in April.
I think I made it about a week, maybe almost two weeks
before I just kind of gave up on it,
because I did not plan and pre-film enough properly.
But I'm gonna change that for this one.
I've got videos set up.
I got 'em put on my calendar.
I don't have all of my ideas yet.
I got at least a week ahead,
I have at least a week's worth of videos planned in my calendar,
and I'm doing some filming right now, as you can see.
And we'll see what happens,
and fingers crossed.
So, this is just a warning.
This is kind of like a warning video.
If this is something that you don't want to see every day.
If you don't want to see the same person's face every day,
then it's just so you know what's up, I'm letting you know now.
That's dark, I don't like that.
So, there's a cat; my neighbor's cat is just rolling around
and being adorable.
And now, I am off.
I will see you tomorrow,
and for the rest of December.
Alright?
If you want to follow
me on any of my social media,
I have my usernames,
and the social media that I use down here.
If you want to send a letter,
I got my address up here for my PO Box.
Patreon over there.
Tip jar down there.
My last video over there.
I'll see you tomorrow, bye!

Papercut Gift Box | Custom gift box + Template - Duration: 5:07.Today I'd like to show you how you can turn a piece of scrap cardstock into a gift
box and decorate it without using any embellishments.
I like to make my own box templates, but there are many
template makers online that will make you a custom one with your desired measurements.
The box I'm making today has enough space for jewellery, treats or
makeup products.
All measurements I used will be on my blog so don't worry about writing anything down.
I didn't plan any design, I just picked up a pencil and started drawing something
simple.
Christmas and St. Valentine's day is coming so I thought it would be great to make a heart
shape with some swirls.
This is a pattern for beginners, nothing too intricate as I noticed
that most people who visit this channel are interested in paper cutting and would like
to try it out.
Apart from the swirls, I placed a group of three dots.
You could make any motif you'd like, but make it simple.
Next week I'll show you how to make a gift bag personalised by cutting out a monogram.
Make your lines thick to make cutting easier and remember not to leave any closed areas
if you don't want them to be removed since this is a
negative papercut, just like that bag.
I filled in all the areas that needed to be removed.
If you make a mistake, don't bother to look for an eraser, this side will be on the
inside of the box and we'll erase the pencil marks after cutting out the design.
To cut, I'm using my standard 15a blade.
To get the curves smooth, I'm constantly turning the
cardstock instead of twisting my hand.
If you'd like to have circles like these but don't feel confident about cutting them out,
you can use a thick needle to pierce the cardstock instead.
I'm using a 170 GSM cardstock here.
It's best to use heavier paper, or the box won't hold up well.
I like the feel of 170 GSM, it's not too heavy and not too light.
If you've already scored and burnished everything, then it's time
to apply double sided adhesive.
I know not many people make their own gift boxes so I wanted to show you what to do.
I first removed a little bit of material on all of the tabs, cutting at an angle.
This is will give the box a professional look and it will also
make its construction easier.
With the help of a ruler, I scored along the drawn lines to end up with a crisp fold.
Perfect, sharp edges are also contributing to the look of the finished
box so take your time scoring.
To score, use anything with a pointy but blunt tip, it can be the blunt part of a needle,
a crochet hook, an empty ballpoint pen or a bone folder.
Then you'll need to fold and burnish with a scalpel's handle or again, a bone folder.
A ruler can be used as well, but make sure it's clean, sometimes it can
have a bit of pen ink or whatever else that could stain the cardstock.
The side flaps are thin so I just used my nails.
I folded in all the tabs and put some double sided tape, making sure
the tabs are almost completely covered.
Place the adhesive close to the scoreline.
This is an important step, if there isn't enough adhesive, the box will lose its shape
soon.
If you're going to put anything heavy in the box, use extra adhesive and a thicker cardstock.
When assembling the box, attach four tabs to the bottom square.
Don't attach the middle tabs to the lid.
The lid part only needs its two side tabs.
If it fits, you're done.
It's completely normal for the side flaps to be loose, if you want, you can wrap some
ribbon around the box to keep them close it or just leave them as they are.
I hope you enjoyed this project, make sure to subscribe to get notified when the papercut
gift bag video and many others come out soon.
Thank you for watching, if you have any questions, drop them in the comments and I'll
do my best to answer.

WP358237 - Replacing Your Washer's Agitator Bolt AP6008726 PS11741866 - Duration: 3:53.hi my name is Bill and today I want to show you how to replace your agitator
bolt the reason why you might have to do this is because the agitator assembly is
not spinning properly or because you hear an unusual noise during use for
this repair you'll need a ratchet with a couple of extensions and a 7/16 socket
warning before doing any repairs please disconnect your power source so this is
our washer here it's a KitchenAid and this is what we're
gonna use for our repairs keep in mind yours might be a little bit different at
home but the same techniques should still apply so to get to the agitator
bolt on this we're gonna open up the lid now we're going to take off this part of
the agitator there's a small cap in here we'll take that out as well that's our
agitator bolt and to get that out we're going to be using our 7/16 socket so
we're going to just put that in there and then hold on to the bottom of the
agitator a little bit and spin while you are loosing it
get a couple turns pull this right out so to get the bolt out of here you're
gonna push it up through the hole sticking through there and then we'll
just tilt this and it comes right out now you can grab your new OEM
replacement agitator bolt if you don't have one already you can find one on our
online store so now we're gonna put this plastic piece back in which came out
when we took the agitator bolt out so we'll drop that in there
and then we'll put the bolt in through the hole that's in there now just like
that and now we'll set the upper part of the agitator on here and we'll get the
piece lined up there and slide it down we'll tighten it back up once it gets to
the point where it's turning grab a hold of the bottom part of the agitator and
just hold on to it while you tighten so you can get it nice and snug on there
and now we're going to put the cap back on this push that in and now our
dispenser close the door and your repair is complete finally don't forget to plug
in your appliance if you need to replace any parts for your appliances you can
