Cardboard Vase | Creation Station | Lifetree Kids - Duration: 4:16.

Thanks for watching Lifetree Kids!

Welcome to Creation Station.

I'm Makayla and today we're going to be making a cardboard flower vase.

Let's get started.

Today, our craft is coming from Cuttable Cardboard Creations.

So what you'll be needing is some cardboard, a can, a ruler, a pen, a box cutter, scissors,

hot glue gun, glue, and you'll also going to need some flowers.

They could be real flowers or your could just buy fake flowers.

So we're going to grab our pen and trace around the can.

Then we're going to take our ruler and take a half inch and do some line marks around it.

You can space them out every so often so you get a bigger base.

Now we're going to grab our box cutter.

You're going to want to ask an adult for permission so you don't accidentally cut yourself.

We drew two of these and my adult helper came in and helped me cut these out.

And now we're going to glue them together to make the vase--I mean--base of the vase.

So now, I'm going to start gluing the hot glue onto my little circles.

If you guys are wondering were my a salt--I mean--adult supervision is, they're behind

the camera, but you can't see it.

Now, I'm going to take the other piece and put it on top.

Now, we have to glue the can to the base for the vase.

And there's a quick tip: if you turn the can upside down, it's a lot easier to put the

glue on.

Be careful to put it over your can so it doesn't accidentally drip on the floor or the carpet,

and then your adult will probably get mad at you.

Alright, I have enough glue so now I'm going to set my glue gun down.

And then I'm going to take this and put it right in the center and push down.

So we're going to take our ruler and make half inch strips.

You're going to want to make little line marks from the half inch and then draw a line straight

on it.

Now your adult has an easier way to cut it out and they won't mess up and make it swervey.

My adult helper helped me cut out all of these strips with the box cutter.

And then I'm going cut them into tiles with the scissors.

Then we're going to glue them onto the vase.

As a reminder, we're going to cut these all into different lengths.

One way you can do this is, you can lay it flat and then keep on stacking them on top.

But that might take a while.

So I'm going to lay mine vertically and then you keep on stacking it like this.

You're going to take your glue gun.

And remember: it's hot!

Well the easiest way to do this is to take the back and put one dot and then glue it

onto the can.

Keep repeating that and once you get the first layer done, like around it, you're going to

want to put it on top.

And remember: we cut out a lot of different size tiles so you could figure out what fits

best in which places.

We're almost done, but you could paint this if you wanted to.

Just give it some color!

Or you could just leave it the way that it is.

Then you're going to want to take your flowers, any type of flowers would work, and just put

it in.

And now you're done!

If you want more cardboard ideas, you can check out the book Cuttable Cardboard Creations.

So that's all we have today on Creation Station.

I'll see you guys later!

Bye!

Mesmer - Are you the one (Alan Rickman) - Duration: 4:30.

I've felt you coming, girl, as you drew near

I knew you'd find me, 'cause I longed you here

Are you my destiny?

Is this how you'll appear?

Wrapped in a coat with tears in your eyes?

Well, take that coat, babe, and throw it on the floor

Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

As you've been moving surely toward me

My soul has comforted and assured me

That in time, my heart, it will reward me

And that all will be revealed

So I've sat and I've watched an ice-age thaw

Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

Out of sorrow entire worlds have been built

Out of longing great wonders have been willed

They're only little tears, darling, let them spill

And lay your head upon my shoulder

Outside my window, the world has gone to war

Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

Oh, we will know, won't we?

The stars will explode in the sky

Oh, but they don't, do they?

Stars have their moment and then they die

There's a man who spoke wonders,

though I've never met him

He said: "He who seeks, finds, and who knocks, will be let in,"

I think of you in motion and just how close you are getting

And how every little thing anticipates you

All down my veins my heart-strings call

Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

Are you the one that I've been waiting for?

Why You Should Join the Alsip Farm to Table CSA - Duration: 1:04.

Hi, my name is Denise Kuiper.

Well I saw an advertisement for the Alsip CSA and I talked to my husband about it and

we just thought it was a great idea.

Hi, my name is Elaine Bintz.

As soon as I found out there was one in St. John, I signed up right away.

It was so fun to try new varieties of things that I may not have bought at the grocery

store or grown in my own garden.

The variety of food.

It forced me to get out of my comfort zone a little bit, and try some different produce

I haven't used.

We always look forward to it, and it's exciting to try new foods and expose my family to new

recipes that we've never tried before.

They love it!

That's why we're doubling for this year.

We love the convenience.

I love that it's organically grown.

You just can't beat the value.

And I love that it's locally grown.

The variety, the freshness.

I really encourage all of my clients and everybody I know to be a part of a CSA.

13 Reasons Why to Riverdale: The best TV shows YOU missed in 2017 - Duration: 9:48.

13 Reasons Why to Riverdale: The best TV shows YOU missed in 2017

13 Reasons Why The tragic tale of Hannah Baker's (played by Katherine Langford) suicide found itself at the heart of 13 Reasons Why.

The Netflix original became an overnight success as millions tuned in to see Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) rush through tapes to discover the real reason Hannah took her own life.  Based on a novel of the same name by Jay Asher, the teen drama will return for a second season in the new year.  Catch up on season one on Netflix now.  The Deuce Creator of The Wire, David Simon, brought a gritty drama about the porn industry to life in The Deuce, which starred James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal.  The 1970s semi-fictional tale went into the evolution of the sex-trade business amid the backdrop of the New York Mafia and a worsening drug epidemic.  The hugely successful series has already been renewed for a second season which has not yet been given an air date.

The series is currently available to stream on NOW TV.   .

The Handmaid's Tale Margaret Atwood's seminal feminist novel was adapted into a hugely popular television series, with Elisabeth Moss taking the lead role of Offred.  Based on a dystopian future where fertility becomes an issue because of sexually transmitted diseases and pollution, the deeply harrowing tale looks at the tragic life of Handmaids.  Deemed to be the only fertile women in the land, the red-clad females become enslaved and used only for their child-carrying abilities.  The Handmaid's Tale will return for a second season which will aim to stray away from its original text.  Catch up on all the drama from the first season on Channel 4 On Demand now.

Big Little Lies Big Little Lies became a worldwide talking point after fans could barely wait each week to find out who was killed and who killed them.

The US smash hit found its niche in choosing not to tell viewers anything about the murder, instead drip-feeding tiny bits of information in each episode.  However, the pay-off at the end was worth every agonising moment of theorising and it's almost certain you won't guess the outcome.  Not only was the HBO miniseries nominated for a massive 16 Emmy Awards, but it was announced earlier this month that it would be returning for a second season.  The hugely successful first season is available to stream on NOW TV.   .

Twin Peaks: The Return Mark Frost and David Lynch's cult mystery drama made it's hugely anticipated return earlier this year - and it was every bit worth the wait.  Set 25 years after the original, FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper returns to solve more crimes in the fictional town of Twin Peaks.  Although it follows on from the now iconic cliffhanger from the 90s series, little else is closed up, leaving viewers with even more questions than before - not including that cameo by David Bowie as a metal teapot.  Fans went crazy for the return and are hoping to hear that the revived series will return in the new year.  The series is currently available to stream on NOW TV.  GLOW The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) set about revolutionising how women from the eighties are portrayed in television when it crashed on to Netflix earlier this year.  The Netflix comedy won audiences over with its barmy bunch of women, who came together to put on a colourful wrestling show for paying punters.  Alison Brie, Britney Young and Kate Nash starred in the smash hit which was produced by the makers of Orange is the New Black.  And fans can rejoice as the series will be back for 10 more episodes in 2018.

Fans can binge on season one on Netflix right now. .

Mindhunter Based on a book of the same name, Mindhunter takes a look in the minds of America's worst serial killers.  Set in 1997, the FBI's psychological unit was just forming with agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) leading the way with new methods of thinking.  Deeply harrowing at times, the Netflix drama is not one to be missed, especially for those who love the likes of Making a Murderer.  The drama is available to stream on Netflix now.  Jamestown From the makers of Downton Abbey, Jamestown is what the creator called "a Jacobean Western" which romps through the lives of three women who find themselves in America.

Having been bought by colonists in Jamestown, Virginia, Alice (Sophie Rundle), Jocelyn (Naomi Battrick) and Verity (Niamh Walsh) face trials, tragedies and hardship along the way.

Luckily, these women are tough and learn to forge lives for themselves in the harshest of conditions with some truly monstrous men.  Fans of the first season are in luck, as the ship will sail once more to Jamestown next year.  The series is currently available to stream on NOW TV.   .

Riviera  Georgina Clios (Julia Stiles) stars as an art curator who desperately scrambles to learn the truth of her billionaire husband's death.  After doing some digging, the American discovers that the lifestyle he lead was embroiled in a world of lies and crime.

The stunningly beautiful Sky series was loved, with some describing it as one of the most beautiful and lavish soap operas ever seen.  And to top things off, Game of Thrones bad boy Iwan Rheon makes an appearance as Adam Clios.  You can catch all of the action on NOW TV today.  Dark Supernatural Netflix series, Dark, is starting to pick up momentum as being the latest binge-worthy series.  The hugely complex plot is reminiscent of Stranger Things, in which the disappearance of two young children prompts a massive mystery.  The German-language series comes with the tagline: "The Question is not where.

But when," which only seems to echo the time-traveling nature of the plot.  The series is available to stream on Netflix now. .

Riverdale Riverdale has become one of the most unexpected hits of 2017, with fans tuning in week after week to see the comic book adaptation.  The teen drama focuses on the fictional town of Riverdale as Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) stumbles across hidden secrets in the seemingly perfect suburbia.  Opening to record figures for Netflix, season two of the teen drama week has had millions hooked as they work out the mystery figure behind the Black Hood.

Akin to Dawson's Creek and The O.C., Riverdale has become this generation's cult TV show that everyone is watching - you'd be crazy to miss out on the water cooler theorising.  Catch up on seasons one and two on Netflix now. .

The Story Of Moses & Al Khidr - Musa and AlKidr - Session 229 - The Cow - Verse 216 - Part 2 - Duration: 9:35.

Session 229 Chapter 2

Verse 216 a continuation

Prescribed for you is fighting, though it is disliked by you.

It may well be that you dislike something but it is good for you, and it may well be

that you like something but it is bad for you.

God knows, and you do not know.

(Chapter 2: Verse 216) How many times did each one of us chase after

something he or she really wanted only to regret it later?

How many times did each one of us expect good to come out of an action only to be sorry

to see evil?

The opposite is also true.

Allah –the All Wise- had clarified this concept for us through the story of Prophet

Moses (peace be upon him).

He says: Moses said to his servant, 'I will not rest

until I reach the place where the two seas meet, even if it takes me years!'

But when they reached the place where the two seas meet, they had forgotten all about

their fish, which made its way into the sea and swam away.

When they had gone a distance further on, he said to his servant, 'Bring us our lunch.

Truly this journey of ours has made us tired.'

He said, 'Remember when we were resting by the rock?

I forgot about the fish- and none but Satan made me forget to mention it to you- and it

made its way into the sea in an amazing way!'

Moses said, 'Then that was the place we were looking for.'

So the two turned back and retraced their footsteps.

(18:60-64) Prophet Moses was once walking towards the

junction of the two seas accompanied by a young man helping him.

Moses was searching for a wise man that he wished to meet.

They carried with them a supply of salted fish to eat from on their journey.

The trip was long, hard, and tiring.

As they were walking, the young man noticed the salted fish miraculously make its way

to the sea.

When Moses and his companion rested from fatigue, Moses asked for the fish to eat.

The young man apologized for forgetting to tell him what he saw of the fish.

Moses said to him: 'this is exactly what we have been looking for.

It is a sign from God that we have reached our destination, and the man we are supposed

to meet –named Al Khidr- is at the place where the fish made its way to the sea.'

Moses, peace be upon him, traced his steps back and met the righteous servant.

Allah taught Al-Khidr from the divine knowledge which He only gives to His righteous servants

as a reward for their devotion and piety.

Moses, peace be upon him, asked the Lord's servant to teach him from his knowledge.

But Al Khidr whom God granted more knowledge than the human capacity can entertain replied:

The man said, 'You will not be able to bear with me patiently.

How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?

(18:67-68) Allah –the All-wise- had given prophet Moses

a hint of what is to come.

Moses knew that the loss of his fish food supply was a bad thing, but it was actually

for his own benefit because it was a sign that led to the meeting place of the righteous

servant.

The same blueprint would continue throughout the verses as events unfold with Moses & Al

Khidr –may God be pleased with them-.

The verses narrate event after event that appears evil and unjust but in reality hold

good and wisdom.

Prophet Moses wanted to learn from the divine knowledge that Al Khidr was given.

But Al Khidr warned him that he might see events that would test the limits of his patience.

Moses insisted and promised to be a polite learner, to remain quiet, and not to object

nor inquire about the reasons behind what he sees until it is explained to him.

God narrates what happened next: So they set forth until, when they embarked

on the boat, he made a hole in it.

Moses said: "Have you made a hole in it in order to drown its people?

You have certainly done an awful thing!"

He replied, 'Did I not tell you that you would never be able to bear with me patiently?'

(18:71,72) Prophet Moses couldn't hold himself back

from asking when he saw the Al-Khidr destroy a ship which belonged to poor men; then he

remembered his promise.

He said, 'Forgive me for forgetting.

Do not make it too hard for me to follow you.'

(18:73) God continues:

And so they travelled on.

Then, when they met a young boy and the man killed him, Moses said, 'How could you kill

an innocent person?

He has not killed anyone!

What a horrible thing to do!'

He replied, 'Did I not tell you that you would never be able to bear with me patiently?'

He said, 'If I question you about anything after this, do not keep me in your company.

You have obtained from me an excuse."

So they went on until when they came upon the people of a township, they asked its people

for food, but they refused them hospitality.

They found there a wall which was on the verge of tumbling down, and the man restored it.

Moses said: "If you had wished, you could have taken payment for it."

(18:74-77) After this, Al Khidr and prophet Moses –peace

be upon them- separated.

But before they left, the righteous man explained to Moses the reasons behind the events that

he was unable to be patient over due to his lack of knowledge.

Al Khidr said: 'I put a hole in the ship to save it from a king who seized every ship

by force; I damaged it so the king would find the defective ship unappealing to take from

the poor men.

As for the young boy I killed.

He was the son of righteous parents; this son would grow up to bring them tyranny, misery,

and disbelief; God wanted to give them another son who is humble and righteous.

By killing the boy before the age of puberty, he was guaranteed heaven, and so were his

righteous parents.

Finally, the wall that I rebuilt for the town had treasure buried underneath it that belonged

to two orphans from the village.

Their father was a pious man, so it was necessary to rebuild the wall and preserve it from the

town's rude and greedy people until the orphans reached the age of strength to extract

the treasure.

Then Al-Khidr said: I did not do these things of my own accord:

these are the explanations for those things you could not bear with patience.'

(From 18:82) And there lies the key to the whole story:

Al-Khidr did not attribute these acts to himself; rather he attributed them to the divine Creator

who taught him.

Allah is teaching you not to assume that good is always in what you like, nor is evil always

in what you hate.

God says: "It may well be that you dislike something but it is good for you, and it may

well be that you like something but it is bad for you."

Thus, keep this fact in mind when it comes to fighting wars when necessary.

Moreover, remember that God only issues commands of 'do' and 'do not do' to those who

loved and believed in Him.

God does not obligate anything on the disbelievers.

Here you may ask: how come God urges the believers to do something they do not like and leaves

the disbeliever alone?

We answer that Allah asks of those who love Him to do what is good and beneficial in this

world and the next.

The believers have entrusted God with their affairs, so He –the All-Merciful- takes

care of them.

Allah does not interfere with your freedom of choice.

God orders you to do things only after you chose to believe and declare your faith in

Him.

Perhaps most importantly, and as a reminder, God says at the end of the verse: 'God knows,

and you do not know.'
