Waching daily Dec 29 2017

hey guys welcome back in this video I'm gonna be showing you a great apk for

live TV and score what makes this apk particularly special

is it doesn't have any adverts it doesn't need a third party video player

and it works on fire snakes fire TVs and all Android devices

it really has got a ton of channels guys I think run about 4000 so as

per normal let me do a quick overview of the apk then I'll give the exact steps

you need to follow to install it but before I start I did mention in my last

video that the first three people to leave the comment terrarium TV rocks

I'll give you mention in my next video so all of the names you can see in a

screen right now I want to give a shout out it'll say thanks so make sure you

watch this video to the end to find out how you can feature in my next video so

with all of that being said let's get started so when you start the apk this

is what you'll see I'm doing my demonstration on the second-generation

fire stick with Alexa but as previously mentioned this works perfectly fine on

Android TV boxes Android phones Android tablets it's all good the apk has a very

basic layout so by default you get list of all the channels if you press right

on the remote you've got option to see your favorites then further right you've

got the search feature so you can search for channels here then you have this

small info button which is fine so as mentioned this apk does work perfectly

fine with the standard remote control but to actually scroll down the channel

list it is it a bit fiddly but once you get the hang of it it's not too bad so

the way we do that is let me bring up the master so double press the play

button and there we can see the mouse toggle there now the way I'm gonna

scroll down is I want to come down here first so you basically get to near the

bottom of the screen then I'm gonna hold down the select button and while that's

held down I'm now gonna press up with the other hand and we can see now on the

screen that simulates me swiping up so it is little bit fiddly but it

definitely works let me just do that one more time so go away to the bottom okay

when you're there one hand hold on the select button and with the other hand

press up and don't let go of the first hand and we can see that scrolling up so

the key thing is you want to Betty find the channels that you regularly watch go

across to them and then just add them into your favorites

this means then when you want to watch those channels instead of going through

a big list you can just go into your favorites and then see that content

there but I do always recommend guys if you are regularly using a pea

Caze just using an air mouse just makes the whole thing so much easier so I just

activate my air mass now now we can see with the air mouse you see the mouse

just like zooms are on the screen so it's just so much easier but I just want

to demonstrate that you can use this with the standard built-in remote

control but it is a little bit fiddly and I want to stop saying that now okay

so let's click on all channels now using my air mouse I'm just gonna click here

and swipe up just so I'll show you how many channels they are around here so

because you see this channel from around the world is you've got French channels

here then you've got some German channels and

you got Italian you have some Netherlands and you got some Spain just

lots of thought to stop but the USA and the UK channels are writing at the

bottom but as previously mentioned you want to basically get to your channels

that you regularly watch and then just add them to your favorite so let's have

example we regularly watch Showtime HDS let's click on that just confirm that

it's working okay okay let's working up sleeve when we couldn't get back out

with that and now I'm going to add Showtime HD into my favourites if I

click on this start icon here this will not add it into my favorites so let me

just try some channels just so you can see what's currently working what the

qualities like etc so lets us try some Lifetime movie network HD that's what I

kept so you find it's back out that I need to be careful with what content I

show because my last video got deleted so I want to try and maybe mask some

affair just so our doing any copyright warnings from YouTube in fact while do

not let me just show you some channels of audio checked out for my favorite so

then we go up to my favorites and let's try somebody's channels let's try a

tennis HD that's working absolutely funds back out of that let's try some

sci-fi HD looking good as back out there let's try some food channels looking

good let's try some box nation so you can see guys with pretty much every

channel damn trying it's working straight away we're not getting any

buffering and everything is just working so in summary guys I said it's a really

great apk we have nearly 4000 channels from around the world most of them in HD

we're not getting any adverts we don't need to install a third-party video

player so really what's not to like it is one of those things where boy it is a

free apk so there's all a chance they make offline but for the

here and now everything's working fine how'd everything is you check this out

right let me show you can I install this on all your devices okay so to install

on a five stick it's gonna be a four-step procedure step one is to make

sure you go to your settings device options developer options and make sure

these two options are set to on if you've been installing apks for a while

they'll probably be on anyway but just double-check that and make sure the

birth set is on and that step one done step two is to download an application

called downloader again you probably have

already got this in school but if you haven't it says press left on the remote

on the home screen click on search and then search for the app downloader

once you see that click on that click on download and that should now be ready to

use to get the mouse toggle again use the download your application and

navigate to this URL which is HTTP colon forward slash forward slash bit door ly

four slash TDU k ms e just type that in and click on go when you get to this

page click on download this will download the mouse toggle apk to your

device now press down a few times and click on install okay now that's

installed correctly let's open that up and the key thing you want to see here

on the bottom left where it says status need to make sure that says started at

the moment we can see SS starting so give that a few seconds and now that it

says started we know we're ready to use the mouse toggle and when you bring up

the virtual mouse is you double press the play button let me do that now so

one two and we can see there is a virtual mouse and we're all set and to

get the apk let's use a download your application again and navigate to this

URL which is HTTP colon four slash four slash bit door ly four /td UK IPTV 22 if

you are doing this on an android TV box or Android phone or Android tablet just

open up a browser like Chrome or Firefox type this address in click on go and

I'll take you to the download page but on a fire stick or fire TV use the

download your application type that address in and click on go when you get

to this page press down a few times and click on the green down

button this will commence the download of the live tv apk onto your device okay

when you see this screen press down a few times and then press right to

install and just a gentle reminder guys if you are finding these videos useful

do hit that thumbs up and please subscribe to make sure you don't miss

out on the latest apks the latest builds and the latest add-ons thanks ok when

you see this don't click on open click on done this will take you back to the

downloader screen and I like to delete the apk just so you can get that space

back so click on delete and click on delete again now when you press the HOME

key you'll notice you won't see the new live TV apk in your application list the

way you see this if you hold down the home key and click on apps now when you

scroll to the bottom of this list you'll see the new apk there so if you press

the options key on that I select the option move to front this will bring you

to the top of your application list right if there's anybody still watching

my video at this stage I want you to read the comment below looking forward

to 2018 and the first three people to do that I'll give you a shout out in my

next video so let's do that let's start the apk for the first time and here is a

apk all ready to use that's all for this video guys many thanks for watching do

leave me a comment below let me know what you think and I'll hopefully catch

up with you guys real soon thanks that said guys I hope you found that video

useful give me a thumbs up if you did comment below let me know if this worked

for you and please subscribe for more content thanks again for watching guys

oh and if you're interested in VPN if you click on that link on the bottom

left you'll get a great 46 percent discount if you are worried about your

privacy and you want to stay safe online I do recommend you check out a VPN

thanks again guys see you on the next one

Trump's $285 Million Budget Cut Hurts the UN a Lot More Than You - Duration: 5:13.

Trumps $285 Million Budget Cut Hurts the UN a Lot More Than Youd Think

Former White House advisor Sebastian Gorka claimed the U.S. pays over 20 percent of the

U.N. budget on Fox & Friends Saturday.

We are paying more than 20 percent of the U.N.s budget.

If you look at the peacekeeping activities, the military side of the house, we are paying

almost a third, 28 percent, Gorka said.

The U.S. must pay 22 percent of the U.N. budget for 2016 to 2018.

The U.S. contributes an even higher share for some agencies within the U.N.

The U.N. determines required contribution levels for each member state based on factors

like gross national income and debt.

Based on this calculation, the U.S. paid 22 percent of the U.N.s $5.4 billion budget

for 2016 and 2017, the maximum contribution allowed.

State Department documents confirm the U.S. allocated $1.2 billion toward the budget during

these years.

U.S. funding of U.N. operations is under scrutiny after 128 member states voted to condemn President

Donald Trumps decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israels capital Thursday.

Trump threatened to cut U.S. funding to countries that voted for the resolution.

U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley called the resolution disrespectful, particularly because the U.S.

pays more than any other country to the U.N.

When we make generous contributions to the U.N., we also have a legitimate expectation

that our good will is recognized and respected, she said in remarks before the U.N. General

Assembly Thursday.

Then Haley announced Sunday that the U.S. had negotiated a $285 million cut for the

U.N.s 2018-2019 budget.

The new budget reduced the UNs bloated management and support functions, bolstered

support for key U.S. priorities throughout the world, and instilled more discipline and

accountability throughout the U.N system, according to a statement from Haleys office.

Some argue the U.S. contribution share is reasonable since the U.S. accounts for about

a quarter of the worlds income.

The next-highest contributors to the U.N. budget are Japan at 9.7 percent and China

at 7.9 percent, although China holds the second-largest share of world income at 14 percent.

Gorka also correctly stated the U.S. pays for 28 percent of the U.N.s peacekeeping

budget, which costs the U.S. about $2.4 billion per year.

The U.N. agreed in June to cut its peacekeeping budget by $570 million to $7.3 billion after

pressure from the U.S.

The U.S. wanted to cut the peacekeeping budget to under $7 billion.

Just five months into our time here, weve already been able to cut over half a billion

dollars from the UN peacekeeping budget and were only getting started, Haley said

in June when she announced the cuts.

In addition to the U.N. regular and peacekeeping budgets, the U.S. contributes to U.N. agencies

like the World Health Organization, World Food Program and UNICEF.

The U.S. contributed $1.5 billion to the U.N. Refugee Agency in 2016, 38 percent of the

agencys total revenue.

This is the largest proportion of U.N. agency revenue funded by the U.S.

The U.S. contributed more than $10 billion in total to U.N. agencies in 2016, of which

$6 billion was voluntary, according to the Council on Foreign Relations.

U.N. contributions account for about 20 percent of U.S. foreign aid spending each year.

Critics of U.S.-led budget cuts worry they will harm U.N. programs and threaten agreed-upon

contribution levels.

But the U.S. has shown no signs it will reverse course.

We will no longer let the generosity of the American people be taken advantage of

or remain unchecked, Haley said in a statement Sunday.

How to Make Shorts with Cuffs from Old Pants || Trash or Treasure? - Duration: 5:24.

hey you guys it's me Shania and today I come to you with a new series so what's it

about you're wondering right I love thrift shopping but I have to be honest not

everything that I buy from the thrift store works in my favor sometimes I

get to the store and I see a piece and I'm like oh I can do so much with this I

can alter it or I can pair it with something else in my closet and kind of

vamp it up with style right then I get home and I try it on or I take another

look at it and I realize that the best thing to do is just trash it there's no

hope there's no saving it but in this series I'm gonna be trying to transform

my thrifted trash into thrifted treasures now some of the transformations will be

as small as just cutting something and hemming it or making it a little smaller

and some of the transformations will be as big as making a completely new

garment now at the end of each episode you'll get to decide whether it was

thrift into trash or if it was thrift into treasure so today's episode is gonna be

pretty simple I'm gonna be taking these shorts which you can see in my December

thrift haul and I'm just going to be making them shorter and hemming them at

the bottom and that's it so let's see if this thrifted trash is actually

thrifted treasure let's get into it the first thing you want to do is you want

to try on your shorts or your pants inside out and you want to just decide

how high you want them to be and I definitely recommend that you are

mindful of the back because you don't want the back to be super super short so

just make sure you turn around and make sure you're okay with the length in the

back as well then you're gonna take a pin and you're just gonna make a

note of where you want your shorts to end and then you're gonna take some

tailor chalk and you're going to just make a mark right over that pin

and don't worry if it's straight or not we're gonna go ahead and fix it later on

so here you can see that the shorts already have like a rolled cuff and I

really like that and I want to keep it otherwise it's gonna look like a blunt

cut so I'm just going to take out the stitches that held the cuff together in

place once you do that it'll look something like this and you can just go

over it with an iron to keep it nice and flat and in place so here I'm just

measuring the distance between where I made that mark and where the shorts end

and I just want to extend this line by transferring that same measurement all

around the pant leg so if you're choosing to make cuffs like I'm going to

it's really important that you have at least five inches of extra fabric below

that line that you just drew so that you can make your cuffs and then from this

line you're gonna make another line about 2.25 inches above this line and

you're just gonna extend the line all around the pant leg and of course you

want to repeat this step with the other pant leg as well and now we're just

gonna fold the bottom of our shorts up to that top line and we're going to just

use some pins or some clips to keep it in place

so it should look like this perfectly lined up to that top line and now you're

just gonna sew about a half inch all around from the top of that fold if the

material that you're working with is stretchy you want to make sure that you

have your sewing machine on the right settings after that you're just gonna

iron it down into place like so and then from the top of your fold you

want to measure 2.25 inches down and you want to just make a mark and extend this

line all around the pant leg and of course repeat on the other pant leg as

well turn your pants inside out and then fold them so that that line you just

made is now at the bottom of the crease like so and then pin it down now you're

gonna take needle and thread and you're just going to hand sew the cuff into

place I'm just mimicking the cuff as I saw it before I took it out and I

noticed that the thread didn't come all the way through the first layer so I'm

just taking my needle and I'm making sure that after I pull it underneath the

pants when I push it back up like so that it's not coming all the way up to

the top layer that it's just kind of like in the middle in between like so if you

want to bring your needle all the way up to the top layer you can definitely do

that or if you want to just take this to the sewing machine and sew all around

you can do that as well also I only decided to sew a point on

the sides of the cuff and in the middle of the cuff area like so rather than all

around the cuff

iron it down make sure that it's flat and in place like so and you're done so

let me know you guys is this trash or is it treasure? alright

Do you have the boss from hell? - Duration: 11:06.

Hi… I'm Andrew Walsh and this is Toolbox TV.

The only place to be

to supercharge your soft skills and create… a career that you love….

You are sitting at your desk, its quiet, you're working diligently…

when suddenly the hairs rise on the back on your neck

like a bad horror movie…

Then you hear someone call your name… its an angry voice…

It's the boss from hell!...

A bad boss can be demotivating, intrusive,

controlling, take credit for your work, never give you positive feedback,

even be picky and petty…

or could go so far as being a bully…

If you have the boss from hell,

chances are they are those things and more!

Being in this situation can leave you feeling weary,

frustrated and most of all, very unhappy…

Basically you only have two options….

Stay or go….

Now whilst the easiest option would seem to be to go,

this might not be your best option…

Besides considering the current job market

and how easy or hard it might be to get another job,

you may be missing out on tremendous opportunities

for learning or promotion

You need to factor in the long game to your immediate career decision.

There could be significant upside

for you to stay in the short to medium term.

So what if you decide to stay?

You've still got to deal with the boss from hell!

And quite frankly, you'd rather slide down a cheese grater!

Whilst gritting your teeth and just grinding it out is an option,

there are several things you can do to improve the experience

and possibly even turn it around.

Today, let's tackle a few of the more useful tips

that may help you deal with the boss from hell!

Tip one

Take the high road.

Your "Personal Brand" is riding on it.

Never let your boss's bad behaviour be an excuse for your own.

All too often, people start feeling entitled to slack off,

take longer and longer lunches,

lose interest or stop performing well because of the bad boss.

Resist the temptation and keep your mind focused on top performance.

Just because your boss is behaving badly doesn't mean you have to…too.

In actual fact,

handling a difficult boss well

can really set you apart from your colleagues

and grow your personal brand

as you gain a reputation

for being able to work well under pressure and deal with difficult people.

And here's the thing.

May be what looks like a difficult boss

is only a matter of your view,

which brings me to tip 2.

2. Know Your Boss's 'Why'

Before trying to change a "broken boss",

check in and make sure you really are dealing with one.

Is there a reason for their behaviour, or are you just being too damn judgemental?

When you better understand what your boss does,

and most importantly, why,

the better positioned you are to manage their expectations.

To help you understand your boss's "why"

you can ask yourself questions like:

What do they care about?

What do they worry about?

What would they love more of on a daily basis?

Or conversely, what would they love less of on a daily basis?

And How do they measure success?

And what do they think of failure?

When you know what drives your boss,

you can deliver results

in line with their concerns, goals and values.

This then allows you to put into play tip 3…

"manage your manger"

Rather than letting your boss manage you,

why not be proactive and manage them.

Knowing your boss well allows you

to know their preferences and adapt to them.

This is especially handy when you're dealing with a micromanager!

You can get on the front foot

and head off your boss' requests by anticipating them

and getting things done before they come to you.

When you get really good at managing your manager

you may be able to step it up another notch with tip 4.

"by supporting their success and working around their weaknesses"

While it may sound counter intuitive to support a bad boss

in becoming more successful,

there is absolutely nothing to be gained

by making them look bad or facilitating their failure.

If they are as bad as you think,

they are likely do a pretty good job of showing themselves up.

But if you set out to make them look bad,

its likely to compound your own misery and may even damage your reputation.

By doing what you can to help your boss succeed,

you lay a solid foundation for greater success yourself.

It may not be an immediate reward,

but playing the long game to help someone

to be more successful than they might otherwise be,

will never hurt you.

Now, if all this effort though is leading nowhere

and absolutely nothing has changed,

it may be time for tip 5:

"Speak up"

Consider approaching your boss and having a discussion.

Whilst you can't change somebody

and it's not your job to change your boss

Don't prejudge and assume they aren't able to take feedback,

or don't care about how you feel.

Give them a chance to respond.

Approaching them with genuine respect

and a desire to make things work better,

may open up the door

to a whole new level of trust and collaboration.

If this feels intimidating, its ok.

Just acknowledge the feeling and realize that

like personal relationships,

work relationships sometimes need to be discussed

and concerns raised and addressed

in order for them to work better.

Remember.

You can't walk into a new a place unless you open the door first.

If the door stays shut, so does your situation.

So consider it and give it a try.

But what happens if your boss is truly a bully?

This is where you may have to consider the final tip for today.

"Don't be intimidated… you're a person too!"

Work may not be your personal life but companies are filled with people.

Hence the word company.

A place where people can work together!

And everyone has a right to a peaceful and happy work environment.

When your boss truly is a bully don't be intimidated.

You may feel the best course of action is to leave

but I guarantee you that leadership knows about the situation.

Years ago, I worked in corporate finance

and got stuck literally with the boss from hell.

I constantly received a barrage of:

"everything I did wasn't good enough, it took too long,

why couldn't I handle ten things at once?

and why wasn't it done yesterday?"

Although I maintained my composure and patience

we continued to clash.

In fact, the calmer I was, the more it infuriated them

as they were looking for response from all their poking and prodding!

I truly felt isolated and alone.

But felt torn between leaving or staying due to the great career opportunities.

In the end, my boss from hell pulled me into Human Resources

and I thought I was a goner!

However, it tuned out

the HR person knew that

this person was a problem and began to mediate the situation immediately.

In fact, the HR manager was very much on my side

and started to skill me up on conflict resolution skills.

What I learned from the experience was

don't discount following company processes for resolving problems.

But try the informal tips first.

You may be surprised by the support you receive

when you thought you were alone.

Interestingly, after hanging on in my situation,

it changed a few months later

when I was assigned to a new client that I loved.

In hindsight though,

I wouldn't have exchanged that experience for anything

as it taught me some invaluable soft skills and made me a stronger person.

On a side note, I also learnt later that

my old boss had been gently eased out of the company by management.

Again, you may be surprised by who is aware of your problem boss.

So beyond these tips,

why not see dealing with a difficult boss as an opportunity in itself

to test and improve your soft skills…

Let's face it, it's probably not the last time

you will have deal with someone difficult in your career.

And hey, if you can work at how to deal with them,

then you're setting yourself up for future success

when you encounter difficult people down the line.

Do you have a great tip on how to deal with the boss from hell?

I'd like to hear from you….

Spend less time working & ditch the multi-tasking myth - Duration: 10:03.

Well, these are cool.

I haven't seen juggling balls in years.

I used to be able to juggle pretty well, actually.

This is like a good warm up for the brain.

You know, get it going.

And it helps with focus, right?

Let's see if I can...

like I said, I used to be pretty good.

Let's try.

Okay, maybe not that good.

Hi… I'm Andrew Walsh and this is Toolbox TV.

The only place to be

to supercharge your soft skills and create a career that you love.

Do you feel like you are juggling too many things?

Worried about getting it all done?

Are you a multi-tasker?

Well, chances are, you are.

Multi-tasking has become a popular method to manage the multitude of activities

hurtling at you on a daily basis.

It can be as simple as brushing your teeth

whilst thinking about what you will say at your Monday morning meeting

or more complex like taking a phone call while reading and approving a report.

But here is something that you probably don't know about multi-tasking.

It's wasting your time!…

Yep! I said it. It's wasting your time!

Multi-tasking is actually an illusion…

What's really happening when you multi-task

is a switching back and forth between activities rapidly.

And it's this rapid switching that gives the illusion of multi-tasking.

Now, you may say, "So what? I am still getting more done."

The truth is, you are getting less done.

It's actually taking you more time

because your focus is spread across tasks reducing the quality of what you're doing.

Using the earlier example….

Making a phone call and reviewing a report

can seem like you are doing two tasks at once,

but you aren't.

And you can test this yourself…

Try talking to someone on the phone while read something.

It's simply impossible to divide your attention between the two.

And an actual fact...

you have to switch your attention back and forth

in an attempt to accomplish both.

You can't read and listen at the same time…

If you pause and think about the impact this can have,

you start to see the potential inefficiencies and ineffectiveness.

You catch only half a telephone conversation

and you end up having to read the report twice

because you weren't paying attention the first time.

Now multiply that impact across an entire day of tasks.

You can imagine the negative effects this has

on the quality of your work

and more importantly,

all the extra time you end up spending doing the same amount of work….

It starts to get a little scary…

So what's the solution?

Well, to find a solution,

it pays to go a little deeper on why multitasking doesn't work.

And it centres around two things…

start-up time and focus.

Let's look at start-up time first.

Think of start-up time like your computer opening software

or closing down software to switch to another application.

There is an amount of time required to load the relevant data

for the next task to start.

Similarly, every time YOU switch between tasks

you need time to re-remember where you left off and any relevant details.

The more stops and starts you make during the day,

the more time gets wasted

while you reacquaint yourself with each task.

This means lower quality work

because of less time spent doing each task

or putting in more work hours at the expense of your personal time

to maintain the quality.

Now if you are concerned about keeping your job,

you will almost certainly be putting in extra hours

rather than risking lower quality work!

The situation only gets worse

when you factor in the second issue

which is Focus… or in this case, lack of focus.

Have you ever done something and felt in the zone?

I know when this has happened to me

I feel like I am flying through a task and doing my best work.

So, when this happens to you, it's usually because

you've managed to get a large enough block of time

to load into your brain all the things you need for the task

AND your brain is dedicating its processing power to completing that task.

Generally, multi-tasking

doesn't really allow you to maintain that kind of focus

meaning your brain is not using all that processing power.

Leading to the same problem…

spending longer hours at work.

Now, I want to stop and quickly acknowledge

that it's very difficult to go a whole day without some kind of multi-tasking.

Interruptions alone will force you to multi-task.

During my own day,

I have many interruptions

where I have to switch my attention back and forth

and I simply couldn't cut them all out...

But let's acknowledge together that

multi-tasking isn't making us more productive

but actually less productive…

So whilst you can't completely eliminate these situations from your day…

it's important to recognise the value in minimizing them…

Which brings me to today's solution to reclaim your time and productivity!

It's all about getting chunk-kae…

no, not the old school fat boy slim kind…

This is an organizational skill known as chunking.

The thing that is going to boost the quality and quantity of your work…

Chunking is the art of breaking things down into manageable pieces

for your brain to remember and execute effectively

to get more out of your day

it does this by providing blocks of time for your mind to focus on a single task.

This can be a tricky business in a world

where our brains are conditioned to receive and digest in sound bites!

So today, I just want to give you a six step quick start guide

to developing better, mental focus and get you chunking on your very first task.

Are you ready to accept the challenge?

Challenge accepted.

Then here's what to do:

1. Start small…

So start with a task that's going to take you 30 minutes or less.

Give yourself a chance to ease into a change in the way that you work.

Once you have done this, go to step 2.

2. Begin with one task per week.

There's no need to turn your world upside down.

Crawl first and then you can walk and run.

This will give you a space to learn the skill

and also how to use it in your situation.

Then step 3, of course, Schedule it!

Put it in your diary…

Remember, if it isn't scheduled, it isn't real!

4. Look to eliminate interruptions…

This is the most challenging part of chunking …

You need to make it clear to your colleagues

you are not to be interrupted during the task.

As far as your boss goes,

it's a good idea to get their support upfront by carefully explaining the benefits

they will receive from the higher quality work

you'll produce.

Now if you still find you are being interrupted,

try to find a place where the interruptions can't find you.

Perhaps meeting room on another floor

or hit the coffee shop downstairs with your laptop for an hour.

Now, once you are in work mode, very importantly, step 5.

Make sure you follow this step.

Resist the temptation to check your emails and phone.

A lot of us have the habit of constantly checking our phone.

You need to resist this with all the super powers.

Remember, the whole point of locking yourself away

is to have your brain focus on one discrete task.

Now once you have completed that task,

last step, very easy.

Rinse and repeat

Do it again the next week and practice.

Don't expect to be brilliant at chunking straight away

Just keep practicing and build your mental focus.

This also gives you some time for your colleagues to adjust

to the new way that you work and to do it in a gradual fashion.

When you feel ready, you can just add another task.

Just remember to start small and hone those chunking skills.

With some practice not only will you become more productive

but you will gain peace of mind from having more control over your work and time.

What kinds of interruptions do you face on a daily basis?

How do you overcome them?

The Best Coffee Grinder of 2017 | Industry Spotlight - Duration: 5:59.

I've been in the coffee business a long time.

And I know there's a lot to know about what makes a cup of coffee really good.

And when you're out there trying to buy a coffee grinder for home use, it can be tough

because there are so many options.

So, we went and we reviewed all those options.

And after a long time of analyzing particle distribution and double-blind tastings, we've

determined that there are some pretty quick and easy decisions you can make as a buyer

to get yourself the best cup of coffee at home possible.

So, we chose a bunch of different grinders to review for home use – specifically,

for drip/pour over and French press only – not espresso.

Espresso gets kind of complicated because there are more demands to it, kind of like

there are more demands to a commercial grinder than a home grinder.

There are two basic main types of grinders and that's going to be

the blade grinder and the burr grinder.

Blade grinders – bad, burr grinders – good.

That's, like, an easy take-home to always remember about grinders.

Yeah, it's going to cost you a little bit more money, but it's totally worth the investment

in the long run just because your cup of coffee is always going to taste that much better.

One of the big things to look at in grinders that we found was really important was "stepped"

vs. "stepless" and that means you have discrete settings of one, two, three, four

and five in a stepped version and if it's stepless, you have an infinite number of settings.

And if it's stepped, you really only have 20 settings.

So, one of the awesome tools we got to use to do this testing was this very neat –

Kruve or Kruvé sifter set.

It's basically a set of really fine screens suspended one above the other.

And you can put your coffee grounds in this thing, and you shake it around and it will

tell you how many particles are bigger than the screen you put in as well as how many

particles are smaller than it.

And therefore, we can analyze the particle distribution.

We used the settings we determined from our Kruve sifter set test, we brewed a single

cup of V60 on each grinder using the setting we had determined, and then we brewed a single

cup on French press using each of those grinders in the settings we determined.

Then, we blind tasted each one of them in a row.

It was a lot of fun.

I got really caffeinated.

But, at the end of the day, what you care about most is a good tasting cup of coffee

that's not complicated, easy to use – all of those things came into account when we

were testing and the Bodum won.

The Bodum - Bistro is an awesome grinder.

We found that it had plenty of settings for us to play with, to choose from.

The settings that we did choose from it ended up making us

a great V60 pour over and a great French press.

It looks good on your counter, takes up a small footprint, doesn't take a huge dent

in your wallet and at the end of the day, just makes a great cup of coffee.

The Breville - Smart Grinder Pro is kind of getting a great reputation in the coffee world.

I heard of it even before this test as being a really high-testing grinder.

And we definitely found that it has an incredible amount of options available.

If you are a coffee nerd, you can play with this thing and get all kind of results out

of it up to your heart's content.

But, for easy of use and just getting a great, easy cup of coffee out,

the Bodum actually beat it out in our tests.

So, they are both great grinders,

they're both awesome, I would be happy to have either one of them in my house.

But, if I want to really experiment with a lot of different brewing methods, if I want

to get the perfect cup everyday, yeah –

I might go with the Breville for all of the different options it has.

We picked out our two best grinders pretty easily, but the rest of the grinders all fell

under the runner-up category and some of them were pretty clearly not as well made and didn't

make as good as cups of coffee.

The cheap construction of some of them, led us to believe that over time that durability

was not going to hold up.

During our testing we had some buttons fall off, which is pretty remarkable given that

they were fresh out of the box.

And we found them hard to find a useable setting to make a good cup of coffee.

It can be very misleading when you have 20 settings, but only have four of them group

into the particle distribution that we consider useable.

So, I really appreciate it when consumers like you take the effort to learn about the

product they are going to buy to try to make the best

product that they can make for themselves at home.

And that's what we've tried to do in this video, that's what we've tried to do in

this review, and I think we've got some really great information for you.

Thank you so much for watching.
