Waching daily Dec 4 2017

- Have been fairly secretive and haven't let you in here

to show you the progress.

We've actually still got a couple updates

that I'm holding back on.

Don't worry, the vlog isn't going away.

What is up trainiacs?

Today is gonna be the grand unveiling of

an unfinished Triathlon Taren HQ.

Now over the last couple I've been fairly secretive

and haven't let you in here to show you the progress

because there's a surprise in there

that pays a little bit of an homage to the history

of where Tri Taren and all of us started.

Let's go.

Now for those of you that have been around for a few months,

you know that I started off in the office

in downtown Winnipeg with like really old brick.

And what we've got here,

ah, huh, how about that eh?!

Look at this.

So we still have a brick background,

and then if we don't want a brick background

we can go over here and have a rustic wood background.

And then if we don't want that,

we can go over here.

And there's nothing at the moment,

but I'm gonna have the green screen

and the white screen and the black screen

all come down so that when we've got products to talk about,

we can roll it down, light the heck out of it.

It's gonna be so nice, so nice.

So now it's still a little bit of a construction site

as you can see.

It's not warm yet, we don't have the furnace in,

but it's insulated.

We've got the wall panel, we've got correct garage door.

We've got power, the electrical box is all hooked up.

We had to bring more power in to the entire house

because there's gonna be a lot going on in here.

Right in behind me over here,

we're gonna have the bike trainer.

Gonna have the treadmill going.

We're gonna have a Zwift setup,

dedicated Bigs flat screen TV.

Over here in place of all this

we're gonna have a bunch of weights and kettlebells

and deadlifting equipment, and stretchy bands.

And injury prevention gear.

Over in that far corner over there,

we're gonna have a big L-shaped couch.

We're gonna have a nice coffee table

that's all like rustic wood.

Right here we're gonna have a matching big rustic

wood rolling round table.

All along here we're gonna have standing desks.

So it's just gonna be a stationary standing desk.

And then underneath there will be

about a 12 inch deep storage cabinet.

Over here right where you are,

standing desks are gonna be there.

And just to the left of it we're gonna have

a whole big series of like just storage drawers

for all kinds of stuff.

Right over there we're actually gonna have

a work bench with all kinds of like bike parts,

bike equipment, so that I can show certain things

that you can adjust and fix on bikes.

And there's gonna be all kinds of tools

so that we can go back to arts and crafts time.

But mostly just working on bikes.

All along the floor we're gonna have

this foam core with OSB that's painted on top

so it's nice and tough, looks really good,

and that doesn't look and sound like

you can probably hear the echo.

There's not really gonna be an echo,

it's gonna be nice and cozy.

We've got a nice white ceiling.

We're gonna have white LEDs

so there's not gonna be that flicker

that was from the fluorescents at the old office.

And it's also not gonna be yellow

like inside the house.

It's a big update traniacs.

A very very big update.

Very excited.

You know what?

We've actually still got a couple of updates

that I'm holding back on.

You know what, today, update day.

We're doing it.

Like right now.

Actually you know what, I have to go and get

whole bunch of stuff for the garage right now

before it gets dark out.

Okay update day, right now for you.

Little bit later for me, right.

Alright, updates on things.

Number one, NTK has her own No Triathlon Kim Twitter Handle.

Go hit her up.

No Triathlon Kim, she's better at the Twitters than I am.

She's good with words.

I like pictures and video.

Number two, went and saw a pediatrist yesterday,

and apparently I'm gonna survive.

There seems to be a little bit of issue

right at the insertion point of a tendon,

right down at the base of my heel.

And all I have to do for the next few months

is eccentric, like just the dropdown heel lowers.

With each leg pushing up with both legs,

I do three reps of ten, three times a day.

Should be good to run in probably one to two weeks.

Oh, oh, oh, this is a big update.

I'm launching a second podcast.

Mm-hm.

What I'm finding is that there's a lot of questions

that in the comments I have to type out a long answer.

But then in the comments they just go into social media

never never land.

Nobody else can ever see those answers.

In the forums, I got a tough time with words.

Speaking, I apparently like to do.

So I'm starting a podcast called The Trainee Ask podcast.

You can go to TriathlonTaren.com/TraineeAsk

and you can record a 60 to 90 second question.

Works best in Chrome or Firefox,

and then the plan is that every weekday

I'll do a five to 10 minute podcast

where I answer one of the questions.

And I'll probably be directing

a lot of the questions in the comments

all over social media to there

so they can stay in podcast land

for all of eternity.

Mm, how's this for an idea?

Let's give it a try.

Go ask your questions.

Last thing is you will probably notice

that there are some different types of videos coming.

What we're trying to work towards

is a post to every single day being of log,

and the end of log stuffing maybe and unboxing,

and stuffing some tips.

Or stuffing a tips video into a vlog and vice versa.

And in the end it ends up being either a crappy vlog

or a crappy tips video because

it's not really one or the other.

What we're trying to figure out

is a bit of a production schedule

that the really exciting days where I got lots going on,

that are worthy of a vlog, we do a vlog.

The days that we've got tips, we do a tips video.

The days that I've got a product discussion,

we have a product video.

And you probably won't even notice much of a difference.

It's just so like we're gonna massage how we do the videos

and ideally what it's gonna lead towards

is just better quality videos all across the board.

Because I don't have to wrap everything

into a story of my day.

I can wrap the interesting days into a story of my day.

But everything else we can put more emphasis

on better quality videos.

Better explanations, better camera shots,

better displays of a product that we're talking about.

Better demonstrations of something

if I'm demonstrating something.

Just better all around.

But you might just notice some differences

like the last couple weeks had some shorter videos.

Because I'd just explain the tips, cut it off.

Just more of a regular channel flow,

and of course like don't worry,

the vlog isn't going away.

There you go.

Now we're up to date.

Got that off my chest.

Today, apparently it's an update video.

Alright trainiacs, later.

Know what's lighting, you look at this.

By the way, if you're new here please subscribe.

If you've been around for a long time,

share this video with your favorite

soon to be ideal trainiac.

Shares really help.

Bye.

The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach | Retire on $10 A Day - Duration: 5:01.

Saving money can be really hard.

I mean really really hard sometimes.

But if we can do it even if it's just saving a little bit of money over time it can turn

into a fortune.

Hey everyone Daniel here from Next Level life and today we're going to be covering David

Bach's book the automatic millionaire.

The book that takes all of that conventional wisdom surrounding budgeting and saving and

throws it out the window.

Essentially this book tells you that budgeting is not actually necessary to achieve financial

success.

At least not budgeting in the conventional sense.

This book Works off the idea that you need to pay yourself first.

And by pay yourself first I mean actually first before taxes and all that as well.

This is accomplished by trying to make your finances automatic or as automatic as possible

anyway.

A great way to do this is setting up automatic contributions to your 401k because that is

using pre-tax dollars so you really are paying yourself first.

It also gives you an added incentive to not touch the money because you'll get penalized

for pulling it out just like you would in an IRA.

Now that all seems well and good but how are you to start contributing to your 401k if

you don't have any money to spare?

How can you pay yourself first if you barely have enough money to get by as it is?

This brings us to probably the most famous Financial Concept in this book and that is

the latte factor.

The latte factor is a little bit different for everyone because basically what it is,

is some item that you buy regularly that costs you just a little bit of money each time but

over time those expenses add up to Big sums of money.

Big sums of money that if they were invested in your 401k instead of in buying the item

you may very well be able to retire off of that cash.

Now the name latte factor comes from the first item that was used as an example in the author's

class.

But the item in question doesn't have to be a latte again it's just an item that you personally

by regularly that is fairly inexpensive but since it is bought regularly over and over

again it adds up to a lot of money.

So for you it could be something completely different maybe it's buying bottled water

or heaven forbid cigarettes.

Again your latte factor is not necessarily going to be the same as someone else's and

only you're going to know what it is.

But getting back to the concept it's probably best Illustrated with the example used in

the book itself.

Let's take Kim for example.

Kim is two years out of college making $35,000 a year living in San Francisco.

Understandably she's living paycheck-to-paycheck how in the heck can she find money to pay

herself first?

Well let's go through Kim day.

She wakes up gets ready for work, leaves, and stops at Starbucks on the way to the office.

She picks up a latte for $3.50 but in her Rush to leave for work in the morning she

did not actually make herself a full breakfast so in addition to the latte she gets a fat

free muffin to tidy her over until lunch, the muffin costs $1.50.

She makes it to work and then at break she goes to get some juice from Jamba Juice which

costs her $3.95.

However she's kind of hungry because all she's had is that fat-free muffin so she also gets

a power bar to hopefully make it through the rest of the day.

The power bar costs $1.75.

Even if she makes it through the rest of the day without an actual meal she still spent

$11.20 that did not need to be spent had she just made a good breakfast in the morning

or even the night before and then warmed it up in the morning.

And drank the coffee that is probably at her office or just made herself at home and then

maybe drank some water at lunch instead of the juice.

Now just for the sake of argument let's say that instead of spending that $11.20 every

day she instead invested it into her 401k plan at work.

How much money would she have by the time she reaches 65?

Well assuming that she got a return of about 10% which is not unrealistic over that long

of a period of time if you include dividends.

I know for those of you who have been following my videos for awhile would know that I usually

Champion the 8.6% per year return for the market on average but keep in mind that 8.6%

does not include dividends.

So anyway at a 10% rate of return Kim would have a net worth of $1,353,837.97 at age 65.

Suddenly those little expenses are looking pretty big now huh?

And when you get right down to it that $1.3 million is actually kind of a lowball estimate.

because most companies nowadays will match at least a portion of what you put in meaning

you may actually end up with quite a bit more money in the end.

It's just really amazing how saving something as little as $10 or $11 a day if done consistently

over time can leave us with a fortune.

So that was the automatic millionaire by David Bach but I want to know what's your latte

factor?

Leave it in the comments below and if you learned something from this video and liked

what you saw be sure to subscribe and until next time thanks for watching and have a great

day.

Minutes for Mission 2018: All You Need Is Love! - Duration: 2:51.

The Jane Finch community in Toronto Ontario has been portrayed as one of the

toughest and most violent parts of the city. The Jane Finch Community Ministry

works to change that portrayal through literacy programs, advocacy, and community

support. Barry Rieder has been the community minister of the Jane Finch

Community Ministry for 22 years. He's seen an increase in gun violence

and a rise in youth unemployment to 25 percent. Barry has watched children grow

into young adults, encouraging and offering an alternative to gang violence.

In 2014, we actually had four young youth under the age of 16 that lost their

lives to violence. Two of them were from Firgrove. In looking at trying to create

a memorial for those two youth we looked at doing a memorial actually for several

youth that had lost their lives and we found that in that period of 15 years

actually 12 youth lost their lives to violence. That's one of the times that,

you know, I have to put on my pastoral collar and you know be with the

community. There's times that I've done the vigils and funerals. It's not really

a thing that I like to end up doing, but it's an important thing to be there.

The community ministry invests in youth through literacy programs, scholarships,

and advocacy with Toronto police. One program that has grown out of the Jane

Finch Community Ministry is the Unity Barbecue, founded by Andrea Tabnor. The

barbecue brings together rival gang members and the Toronto Police to create

unity in the community. This event was to bring gang members together. The Bloods

and the Crips, in unity from north and south side, so we can start the healing

process to promote non-violence. The Jane Finch Community Ministry recently had to

move from its location at the Firgrove Community Housing building to Firgrove

Public School. As the community housing building needed to be demolished due to

a crumbling foundation. The Jane Finch community offers hope to youth and

community members for a better way of life. Without the support of the Mission

and Service of the United Church of Canada, the Jane Finch Community Ministry

would not be able to offer these programs of hope and healing. Thank you,

and please continue to give.

Sinus Infection And sinus Headache Prevention - Duration: 4:17.

hi dr. Shakib from "Irvine spine and wellness center" today I'm talking about

sinus infections sinus headaches and what you can do to prevent it"sinus infections" for one

those of you who've actually experienced sinus headaches and sinus infection you

know how painful it is and it's all about prevention how can you do why is

it that people who get sinus infection or sinus headaches keep getting it so as

long as we don't do anything about strengthening the very organ and body

part that is weak and gets exposed to the elements and it gets exposed to

whatever pathogen may be that causes the sinus infection or sinus headache that

keeps showing up so let's talk about some of the things nutritionally that

can be done to prevent sinus headaches as well as the other things that you

should be aware of lifestyle wise so number one is you want to up your

vitamin C and zinc why because those two actually help you with boosting your

immune system and strengthening your upper respiratory system including your

your sinuses also you want to take what's called oil of oregano and I would

not put it on the skin because it can burn it but I would take it orally and

mix it with water diluted so it's not so it doesn't burn you so we love oregano

vitamin C and zinc then you don't want to take a shower in the mornings because

you don't want your cranium to be cold and so because that challenges your

sinuses so take a shower at night so in the morning your hair and your head are

not cold if you're leaving and you're going to a cold car you don't want to

also breathe cold air so wrap something around your face what I do is I actually

wear a scarf in the wintertime and I just hold that scarf in front of my face

in front of my nose and my mouth so I'm breathing warm air air so I'm not

challenging my sign is finally Chiropractic neck and

mid-back adjustments address the very parts that are involved with sinus

issues or sinus health I should say so with the neck adjustment you also get

the facilitates lymphatic drainage and the mid-back is where your sympathetic

nervous system resides and that is where the body actually challenges any

pathogen or germs that come in contact with the human body so nekkid mid-back

adjustments are fantastic for boosting your immune system and dealing with

headaches and sinus issues also vitamin C vitamin vitamin C is zinc and oil of

oregano and finally don't take a shower in the morning and cover your face with

something that's warm if you liked the video this video and you like to get
