Hello everybody, welcome to my channel

When I went to my cousin's house a couple of days ago

I found she has many children's books

Because she is at the age to start learning some simple characters

So her parents bought many ... pretty easy reading children's books

which with pinyin

So she can read them with the help of pinyin

And I thought these books might be helpful to you guys as well

So I borrowed these six books from her

I want to... read them for you

Because they don't have much pages

So I guess one book a video, I will read slowly for you

Also, because they are bilingual, have both English and Chinese

So I don't need to translate them

which is great

So in the following 6 videos

I'll read one in every video

You can feel how they are, because these are stories that a 5-year-old Chinese child...

is able to understand, and...

they are quite easy

Not sure if you will like them

So let's have a go

A precious doll

Mimi likes collecting carious rag dolls, and her room is decorated with a variety of dolls.

Today, when passing by the store, Mimi observed some dolls of a new style - big eyes and colorful appearances. How lovely they were!

Mimi walked in the store, asking the salesman, "Uncle, how much is the doll?" (*calling someone who is not your blood relation "uncle" or "aunt" in Chinese is considered polite in China*)

The salesman replied, "This is of limited edition, thus is a little expensive. It's a hundred yuan."

Realizing that there was less than 10 yuan in her purse,

Mimi had to walk out of the store disappointed.

Mimi kicked the little stones on the road carelessly, thinking to herself, "Ah, a hundred yuan. Before I save up for the doll, it would have been sold out."

"Ouch!"Mimi kicked something and hurt her foot.

It was a blue wallet.

Opening the wallet, Mimi was surprised to find that there were a few hundred inside!

Mimi was so happy, this money was enough to buy her favorite doll!

"What if the money is used for emergencies?" Mimi thought. However, she was so fond of that doll!

At this moment, a middle-aged woman was approaching and muttering, "Where might the wallet be?"

Mimi felt her heart begin to thump.

The woman, catching sight of Mimi, asked, "little girl, did you see a blue wallet here?"

Avoiding eye contact with her, Mimi stammered, "No...didn't see..."

After that, she ran towards the store quickly.

Walking into the store, Mimi was going to take the money out of the wallet.

Suddenly, Mimi occurred that teacher had told her it was wrong to privatize other's money and she should be an honest kid.

Mimi took back her hand, and rushed out, only to run into the woman who lost the wallet.

The salesman followed up worriedly, and saw Mimi giving the wallet to the woman.

"Xiao Lan, this is exactly your wallet, isn't it?" He said smilingly.

The woman replied, "Thanks to the little girl, I have found the money we use to replenish the stock of the store!"

Knowing that it was the uncle's money, Mimi was flushed in her face.

To appreciate Mimi, the uncle gave the doll to her.

Mimi felt that the doll became more precious.

Hey Lyme warriors welcome back to SubLyme77 your channel for Lyme disease

awareness education and inspiration my name is Regina Stoneham and I'm a Lyme

warrior today I'm going to be talking about my Halloween experience so this

year for Halloween the boys are old enough to go

trick-or-treating Knight is 6 and Cross is 4 and they were super super

super excited to go trick-or-treating they love dressing up so night was

spider-man and cross was Iron Man slash Captain America John gets home and he

comes back to the bedroom and he's like

how do you want to do how do you want to do this trick-or-treating thing and I

was like I actually feel okay and I have a costume I got the original costume for

June I got the Regina costume at Hot Topic and it was on sale and I wanted to

wear it for Halloween so I was a queen super pretty dress and but I was like I

don't think I could take them by myself because if I either start to kind of

feel like I'm gonna have a seizure or start to feel exhausted I just don't

want them to feel like they have to come home right away so we asked her a nanny

and she would go with us and I got to dress up and the boys were dressed up

and we went out and we went trick-or-treating it was so amazing to

see their expressions when to each house especially the houses that

had decorations and there were a few houses that had animated and immediate

there are a few houses that had animated decorations and so I took videos of the

boys and their reactions to that that was really really cute

I was going

so after five houses the boys were done and we came home and so Knight is

allergic to peanuts he can't have anything with peanuts he's highly

allergic but they both knew not to start eating their candy right away

so we were going to go through their candy as many of you know we as limeys

are not allowed to have sugar

this day is like the worst day ever for us because well it was for me I was

going through all of that candy and I wanted a piece of chocolate so so bad I

wanted his chocolate and so we're separating all the candy we're getting

all like the chocolate and peanut butter you know like the Reese's and the

Reese's Pieces and the Snickers and everything that has peanut butter in it

Jon put it in a separate container he put it up in the laundry room and so we

let the boys go ahead and eat their candy and stuff like that and I'm just

me and I was like smelling their breath and they had so much fun they they

enjoyed all their candy it was kind of weird too because you think that the

kids would want to eat all of their candy but nine across they were like

like after peace you're like I'm done

I don't need anymore I'll eat some more tomorrow like wow that's really like

grown-up of you to do that I don't think I could even do that

we all went to bed and I was like I was I was thinking about the candy and I

started craving it like really really bad and I was like but I was craving it

so so bad because I haven't had candy or chocolate in like three months and so

yeah it was really bad so it's like okay I can do this I can do this

so I went to sleep and at two o'clock in the morning I was like a zombie and my

brain was just on like my brain just thought so I went straight to the

laundry room and I looked inside and I was so I had one and it tasted so so

good it was so good it was like sweet and creamy and peanut buttery and then I

had and then I had another one oh it was

like I was when I was there I was like I wonder if John can hear me so I'm like

looking around and I'm like quietly like opening of the wrappers and I'm reaching

above them in the laundry room because John is he's very supportive about me

not eating sugar so then I go back to bed after that and I go to sleep and

then I wake up in the morning and I feel super super guilty that I did that I

feel really really guilty but I didn't say anything to John so the next night I

go to sleep and the same thing happens I get up at like 2 or 3 o'clock in the

morning and I go directly to the laundry room and I get a few more pieces of

chocolate and I'm just like

am I a sugar addict no am I a chocolate addict like what's going on I don't understand

I just want that's really very bad I don't yeah and you know when you're like

half awake and half asleep I was like more asleep than I was awake that you

just like you have a craving you don't care you just don't care you're like I

need to have this right now to have this right now

so then I went back to bed and then the third day it happened again

I felt so guilty the next day that I told John I was like it was a date day

and I was hoping that he wouldn't remember and then a part of me was like

the angel the demon like on my shoulder like one was saying like and then a part

of me

so that night I I gotta begin in the middle of the night

and the chocolate was still there and he didn't throw it out and so my brain

decided that I was gonna get rid of the chocolate once and for all so what I did

was there wasn't a like a whole lot of chocolate in there but what I did and my

Neanderthal thinking like my sleep brain thinking I was gonna eat the rest of the

chocolate so that it wouldn't be a temptation to me anymore yeah seriously

that's what I did so I unwrapped all of the chocolates and

I ate them and there wasn't any more left so I was like yay it fixed the

problem I fix the problem but I still ate them

Regina so the question of the day is what are your temptations do you give in to

them you would think that the kids would want to cut would you think that the

kids would and so I kind of was like waiting it was this was Saturday and I

was we go on a date with each other a lot of it was it is how was your

Halloween sweet and creamy and peanut butter

I just went and I bought my circular saw,

and I collected some pallets down the road,

I can do this.
