Waching daily Jun 27 2017

hello everyone it's me Jayskibean and welcome to Sacramento now this game I feel like

I think it's a walking simulator but look at the art on this game it's

beautiful and the music's supposed to be really good too and I'm just going to

jump right on into it and see what it see what happens I'm pretty sure I'm

pretty sure it's just a walking simulator where you can look at the

scenery it's like a playable piece of artwork I feel like it's supposed to be

released from the description on issue that's what I got from it was itchy

arrow game Joel I can never remember where I got these games if you want to

find any of the games I ever play there either on Steam bitchy or gamejolt

otherwise I'll probably leave a link in the description where I'll tell you in

the video that is time going forwards or backwards it's for you to decide

I don't know but we just got off the tracks

see at first I thought it was just from those itchy

the frame rate was going down but it's actually the art style of everything it

just looks like it saying everything is moving it looks like everything is hand

drawn in this place it's pretty cool I'm so peaceful and tranquil and other

synonyms for the same thing look at the bird

aid the flamingos I feel like I'm at Busch Gardens hey guys I don't know if

any of you've ever been to Busch Gardens or any zoo or anywhere where the

swimming goes but they smell so bad it's tasting good they just poop they

just walk around and poop and their impacts or whatever you call flocks I

think all over to please to place and go starting get some Basie in here those

that a mansion whoa okay well let's take a look inside surprise me a Zelda like

um Link's Awakening work whoa ah it's so cool and now we're taken to Dragon Ball

Z with the area where they train and there's the just the house and the

background and stuff and what there's even a sex when you walk look at that oh

that's so awesome today the developer must have put a lot

of work into this game I'll just kick me out you can only stand there for a

limited amount of time I guess yeah I look is that is that a one burner is

that the Sun we don't know I can't go any further this way oh well either way

it looks like the developer put a lot of work into this game like everything

everything's really well drawn and stuff also as it gets getting late

all the birds are leaving you see that that's really reminiscent of 2012 the

movie when they said the world was going to end in 2012 it was like a y2k type

deal and they made a movie about it where all these natural catastrophes

went down and Delfi famine if you haven't watched it you definitely

shouldn't flat water on it's a good movie maybe it's another into the world

movie but anyway there's a seed were lots of giant fish there's the scene

where all these birds were flying away and that was low okay what is the is the

world like getting smaller that was hello I'm moving very quickly why am I

going so fast as it launched me was that that wasn't it what that was eat I want

to explore some more there's no way there's no way that was it there's no

there's just no way I could live in it could not have been okay so I'm going to

go to the fish first I'm not going to go into that see there's the fish right

there not so cool giant beasts so I didn't get

to go there last time so I guess you only have until the Sun Goes Down to

explore this place that's really cool and the doors close it looks like the

doors close in the in the buildings and pushes you

back to the stars gonna fit but yeah this is so awesome

planet obvious this is my favorite thing those are both the shows up here at some

point or what but I like how it like straight up launched me to the beginning

like back to the start like right where I started to what I don't know called

Sacramento I wonder why it's called Sacramento I know isn't that that's the

capital of California right I'm really bad state to capital if you guys haven't

noticed really bad was a lot of like memory type stuff so anyway I don't know

what ties this to to the name Sacramento I don't know I'm probably never gonna

get over how gorgeous this game is it's very well done is there anything else

over here besides the feesh so let's get towards the Sun let's go there play and

see I don't know I don't know if it's like

some kind of symbolism or what this is the scheme there's nothing under the

water it's all like just a bunch of water I don't know why I'm trying to

figure something out with this game like it's supposed to be a walking piece of

artwork and I'm like I gotta beat it I just beat the game it's really chill

it's really nice it's a really different but they do it a lot of horror games

recently and this is this is a big breath of fresh air for me to go through

a game like this and okay so it closes at a specific time then at night I write

before everything stops and the Sun Goes Down this is anything this way you think

this way that I haven't seen yet oh don't stop don't don't push me away yet

I just want to see oh it's like the liking pretty deer in aa I don't know I

don't know the lyrics to that song oh here comes yeah there we go we're

getting pushed away now yay in the ichigo's I guess I'll run I'll get stuck

you get stuck whoa I'm going through stuff okay yep okay I didn't miss

anything I don't feel like I miss anything

it just happened again cool alright so yeah that's Sacramento that's pretty

cool that's really cool I like it this is um a walking simulator very short

very small you have until sundown to observe all the art in this world and

its really it's really nice it looks like it's all hand drawn and colored and

painted with all that stuff and it's it's awesome all the way down to the

music and if you've been playing a lot of hoborg and horror games you can't

even say over and you get scared a lie and you're stressed or something this is

the game for you this is so nice and so relaxing and it takes the edge off and

sit back have a nice bowl of cereal and edges just look at all the art like I

love this kind of stuff oh and it's starting on its own again

okay well anyway asked to finish the episode off there I hope you guys

enjoyed if you guys did enjoy make sure you slap that like button underneath the

video and until next time I'll see you guys later

you

Richard (RichieAU) | The Road to Nerdfighteria - Duration: 2:13.

What's up, nerdfighters? My name is Richard and this is my road to Nerdfighteria.

Non-existent intro!...So it all began for me in about 2009. 2009 was a very

innocent time. I had just become high school freshman. Obama was president. I

think YoOLO was still living and the Cubs hadn't wanna World Series in.....a while. I

also had this thing called an iPod Classic. It was newfangled technology and on

the iPod Classic I had a podcast called Best of Youtube. This podcast would take

videos that were going viral and would download them and then upload them to

the podcast. You could download videos like every day or two and be like

"Whoa, chocolate rain! That's....neat! What am I doing with my hands? It's a 2009 thing." And one of

these days, I came across a video entitled 50 Jokes In Three Minutes or

something like that. Those were more click baity times. So I watched

that video and I'm like, "Hey! That's pretty neat and I find the Vlogbrothers

channel and I come to find that John Green...is in fact....a Hoosier. For those who

don't know who, a Hoosier is someone from Indiana. Is that reading correctly? I start

watching the Vlogbrothers channel in part. I mean, they're interesting at all,

but in part, because I'm learning that there's more to Indiana than just corn.

(Newschannel reporter): "Working to prove, for the 90th year, that, YES, there is more than corn in Indiana."

Long story short, I read some books. Watch some Swindon Town SwoodilyPooper videosm

put a llama on my backpack. I don't even know. Can someone tell me is this....? To be

honest, I don't even know if this is a llama. Can someone tell me? Is this a llama?

Or is it an alpaca? And now I have John Green's face on a t-shirt. What?!?!

So that's how I became a part of this community. Shout out to all the people

who are working on this project. Thank you so much for organizing all of these

stories. I can't wait to hear more and I will see you next time....

What is this? It's also a 2009 thing!

Subscribe to my channel BE A GENIUS and press the bell icon to get all

notifications on my new videos...Hi friends I'm Abesh Chakrabarty you're watching my

channel BE A GENIUS By Abesh...War War War...World War is such a controversial topic

Some agree that it will take place and some disagree on it saying that we have the

potential to stop it but if you ask my opinion I will say its knocking at the door and we are just

eating popcorn and watching TV and nothing else...Today you are sleeping without any noise and next day you may be

awakened by the sounds of dogs and you may again fall asleep by a smoke bomb very much like

this

you may awaken the next day trapped in a war zone very much like this

so guys without any words let's get started... The world is certainly getting

more lethal as military technologies advance countries are getting tense as

times go on and World War three is starting to look more and more

inevitable where will you be? World War three is definitely a fearsome topic the

previous World Wars were tragic and disastrous in themselves and I can only

imagine how bad it would be with the technology and weaponry we have today

with the acquirement of nuclear warfare we might all be doomed if a country was

to drop a nuclear bomb you would die immediately in the explosion if it is

close to you if not you will soon die from the exposure to radiation and

contamination so it seems the best reassurance to have in the event of

World War 3 is that you are in a safe place the world leaders will obviously

be a bad place to be hiding during the third world war they will be the direct

targets of rivaling countries and you don't want to be caught in the middle

that means that you are probably going to want to avoid the United States,

United Kingdom, China and Russia and don't go anywhere in the Middle East

that would most likely be a death sentence if you are worried about your

World War three fate these are the safest countries to be in during the

collapse you might want to hurry and make a move

number one Switzerland number two Tobal number three New Zealand number

QA Script - Managing the Testing Process - Duration: 8:55.

Welcome to SkillQ Advisor.

I'm Jeff Harris.

In this post, I conclude my 3-part series on improving the quality of eLearning and

avoiding mistakes that can lead to embarrassing and sometimes reputation-diminishing review

cycles.

In the previous 2 posts, I discuss the importance of quality and introduce you to the concept

of adapting software test scripts to eLearning projects.

I also explain how to design your test process and test script.

Now we will move from Design to Execution, where we will cover best practices for using

your test script to structure and organize the testing process.

Make sure to stick around until the end of this video and I'll explain how to download

a summary of this series that includes notes and a test script template.

Before we get started, let's recap the processes and documents you should have ready before

you begin testing.

As we discussed previously, your design document is critical to the testing process.

I also explained that good quality control requires well-established and documented standards.

Last, and certainly not least, you need a well-defined and specific test script.

There's just one more very important thing you need, and that's a completed course.

I know it seems obvious, but note that I say "completed" course.

My point is that you don't want to begin the testing process with a course that you

know has serious gaps and defects.

Doing so will cost time and tempt your team to slip back into design mode.

Of course, there is a judgement call to be made, most likely by the Team Leader or Project

Manager about the level of completion necessary before testing begins.

I prefer that testing be completed BEFORE the project is submitted to the project sponsor

or company leadership.

You may be thinking: should testing be completed before sharing the course with the SME?

My answer is, "It depends."

On some projects, the SME works as an integral part of the team and may even be asked to

execute testing.

On other projects the SME is the Project Sponsor and works more as an advisor to the project.

The Project Manager should make the call about exactly when in the process testing will begin.

Okay, we have recapped the input documents and covered the issue of "when" testing

should be completed.

Now let's talk about "who."

If you read or listened to my previous posts, you already know that the Testing Analyst

should not be the developer who created the course.

I also avoid using the Instructional Designer who designed the course.

Instead of identifying a specific role who should execute the test, it may be better

for me to list the ideal "traits" of the person acting as the testing analyst.

A Testing Analyst is a person who is:

comfortable and competent reading and interpreting design documents

familiar with project standards detail oriented

focused, even when dealing with tedious tasks.

and did I mention "detail oriented?"

That's a really important one.

Let's be honest, testing is not the most enjoyable part of the development process.

It often gets assigned to the most junior member of the development team.

This may be a mistake if the junior team member is not qualified for the task.

Whoever you choose, make sure they have the right traits for the job and they are trained

on the overall testing and documentation processes.

We now know when and who, so let's discuss "on what."

In other words, what is the appropriate testing platform?

Previously I used the term "target deployment environment."

Sounds pretty fancy, right?

Not exactly.

The test environment should be at the low-end of computers that are used by learners.

Ideally, you already define minimum specifications for your courseware.

If you do, refer to the minimum requirements document to determine the low-end and then

use a machine and browser that resembles the minimum configuration.

Ten years ago, testing on a low-end machine running Internet Explorer version 6 was all

you needed.

In the modern computing environment, the problem is more complicated.

Ideally you need to determine operating systems, browsers and devices you will support, then

test using those devices.

If you don't have the resources to cover all possible platforms (and really, who does?),

I suggest picking the most common desktop and mobile systems that your courseware supports.

You may want to have your Testing Analyst use a desktop and mobile platform as they

execute the script.

Alternatively, you can complete a separate test cycle for each platform.

A common mistake is testing using your development computer.

In our environment, we generally develop with high-end Macs on a high-speed network.

Our customers, however, generally use 2 to 3-year-old PCs.

More than once, a developer has concluded that a design is working well, only to learn

that functionality is not working on the target platform.

Therefore, we keep a variety of older PCs on-hand for testing.

Before we conclude our discussion on "testing environment," let's not forget to consider

how the test course is hosted.

A common mistake is to test the course outside of the hosting environment used by learners.

For example, let's say you want to test a new course but you don't want to bother

with going through the process of loading the course into your corporate LMS.

You decide to conduct testing by publishing the course for web, then load the course on

a web server you control.

Testing this way will certainly simplify the process, but it is not a true test of your

course.

To fully and completely test your course, you really have no choice but to host the

course on the same or similar environment that will be used for deployment.

When you don't test on the target LMS, there are simply too many variables that may mislead

or invalidate your results.

If testing on your target LMS is not possible before deployment, you should use an alternative

LMS for your testing.

This approach does not always uncover the full range of issues you will encounter when

testing with your internal LMS.

It will, however, be a closer approximation versus hosting on a web server, without an

LMS.

Okay, let's assume you followed all the steps and successfully completed your test

script.

What's next?

I recommend that you hold a meeting with your team to review and discuss the results.

Be sure to include representatives from Instructional Design, Development, and Media.

Review the defects and come up with a plan for addressing the issues.

Don't allow this meeting to become a platform for recrimination!

There are a thousand reasons courses have defects, and many have nothing to do with

the person who implements the design.

I find that many defects are the result of unclear design documents, incomplete standards,

design interpretation, and other process issues.

This meeting is a great opportunity to identify where the process got off track and ensure

corrections are made for the next course.

We have reached the end of this series on improving the quality of your courses by planning,

designing and implementing a testing process.

Quality assurance and testing is an often forgotten, but very important part of creating

professional courseware and eLearning products.

Thank you for joining me for this series and taking the first step to implement a quality

assurance process, or improve your current process.

When to off-leash your dog. - Duration: 9:33.

hello dog lovers my name is Saro I'm a dog trainer and I coach dog owners in

this episode I'm going to talk about whether if it's okay to off leash your

dog or not then me and Harvey are in the park today and we're going to explore it

a little bit and I'm going to talk about if it's okay to off leash your dog or not

your dog may not be ready to be off leashed stay tuned

hello dog lovers today me and how we are going to talk about and explain whether

if it's okay to off leash your dog or not one of the biggest mistakes that dog

owners make is either they off leash their dog too early or when the dog is not

ready so I'll explain what I mean by that by the way we are in in a beautiful

park in Capilano Park in North Vancouver British Columbia Canada so what I mean

by having the dog off leash too early is sometimes people don't take the time to

train their dogs to be off leash ready in order for them to be off leash and

then off leash the dog too early so the dog is not ready to be off leash most

dogs especially puppies are not ready to be off leash so what happens when you

off leash them too early it causes them to be stressed and causes them to be a

little bit confused about what they're supposed to do so the rule should be

that you don't off leash your dog until your dog has turned a year old or you

have had your dog adult dog if you have adopted for instance you don't off

leash your dog until a year after you had your dog so this helps you to also

not only train your dog and help your dog to learn the behaviors that you want

with control that you have on a leash and then teach your dog what you want it

to do when it's off leash so there are some rules before

you go ahead and off leash your dog and the rules first rule was that you wait a

year until you off leash your dog the second rule is that you train your dog

to become off leash trained dog and then you off leash your dog so what I mean by

that is what you do is you start basically training your dogs

with basic obedience and then once you passed basic obedience you go to the

next levels of basic obedience you know all this time you're still training your

dog on leash and then you start training your dog off leash everything that you

know you train them off leash so you leash train them and then off

leash train them and then you off leash them so all this may take a year so you

take that year to off train your dog and then off leash your dog

so you don't want to have your dog off leash before that your dog is not ready

so your dog needs to feel comfortable and confident enough to be off leashed

most dogs actually they enjoy being on leash is the human or the dog owner

who's not feeling comfortable or confident enough to keep the dog on

leash now the reason I have a Harvey off leash is because he have gone through

this process he's being trained and he's been trained for six months with me

training him on leash and then off leash and then i felt confident enough to off

leash him so now that he's off leash i know that he doesn't go too far and when

i asked him to come or hang around he just hangs around so that's the confidence

that i have and you need to build that confidence in you and in your dog and I

know if Harvey something happens to Harvey or something goes wrong with

Harvey he's not going to run away and he will come back to me so the reason I

come to a park like this or I do a hike with Harvey in the park is because I

want to enjoy the hike and I want Harvey also to enjoy the hike so it's not that

I'm saying don't go on a hike what I'm saying is train your dogs before you go

on a hike

so whether your dog is off leash or Unleashed there is a chance that they will

develop bad behaviors it has nothing to do with the leash bad behavior of the

dog can develop when the dog is on leash we call it leash re activeness and also

it can happen when the dog is off leash actually most of the bad behaviors are

developed when the dog is off leash what that means is when you off leash a dog

was not ready to be off leash they could go and do whatever they want they could

misbehave and you can't really control them and teach them and stop them from

misbehaving so that causes the dog to learn bad

behaviors that you don't want it's not because the dog is either off leash or

unleash that it may cause them to develop bad behaviors lack of training

lack of allowing the dog to learn the rules of being on leash and off leash

is that causes the dog to develop bad behavior dogs in general they don't mind

being on leash or off leash obviously they like to be off leash too it is not

that I say that they hate to be off leash what I mean is they don't mind

being on leash under control most dog owners feel bad to have them their dogs on

leash so when the dog is on leash they feel that they're not giving them enough

freedom but don't feel bad your dog's safety should come first if your dog is

not ready to be off leashed don't feel bad or don't rush to off leash them- I know

especially on a day like this you want to come out and bring your dog out and

have it off leash and go for a jog or for a run or do fun stuff who can say no

to this I understand but your dog may not be ready to be off leash so you

don't want to rush into it and jeopardize your dog's safety and health to off leash

off leash them because you feel bad - to not - to off leash them and if

your dog is misbehaving on leash is pulling on the leash and is not

behaving properly then that's a separate issue you have to address that before

you off leash your dog so you want to address that and train your dog to walk

properly on leash so your dog can understand the off leash rules so you

teach the dog the leash rules and then off leash rules not the opposite most dog

owners what they do they offer each their dog first and then the dog learns

bad behaviors and then they start putting the dog on leash so before you

go ahead and off leash your dog ask yourself is your dog ready to be off

leashed is your dog trained enough to be off leashed most dogs are not ready to be

off leash is your dog ready to be off leashed does your dog know the rules of

being off leash does your dog know that it's not supposed to jump on people not

supposed to run after things it's not supposed to chase things it's not

supposed to jump on other dogs and misbehave if your dog knows these rules

then and it's a it's a good dog and it stays around and doesn't misbehave and

listens to you yeah go ahead and off leash your dog otherwise keep your dog

on leash safety comes first and then comes fun if you like this video please

give it a thumbs up share and comment do you off leash your dog do you feel

comfortable off leashing your dog and make sure to subscribe to my channel if you

haven't yet so you won't miss high quality content like this in future and

Technical Training Through Distance Education 2017 - Duration: 2:40.

Hi there Scott here from GBCTechtraining.

Today I would like to talk to you about the unique advantages of studying by distance ed.

Specifically to get the technical training you need to move into a new job or

to qualify for that big promotion.

At GBC we understand that you need to keep broadening your skills to move ahead

but that sometimes obstacles can get in the way.

Distance ed can be a great solution, particularly when:

1) You're working full-time and your current work schedule is just not flexible enough

to allow you to enroll into a traditional full or part time classroom based program.

2) Access is an issue because of where you live or work and you can't easily get to

a school where they offer the training that you want.

3) Your commitment to family time and responsibilities are big and when you add that on top of

work, it's near impossible to shoehorn in any traditional training.

If one or more of these scenarios describes your situation, you are not alone.

Many, if not most of our students, have wrestled with these challenges.

Like them, continuing your education within a distance ed could be the right solution

you need to fit into your busy life.

It`s very flexible, relatively inexpensive, and still gives you that hands-on training

you'll need to master difficult technical subjects like PLCs or Robotics'.

Now you may be asking yourself, "How can distance education programs provide practical

hands-on experience?"

Well, this is the really unique aspect of our programs.

We integrate simulation software into our training for that hands-on training experience.

It is not quite the same as working on a benchtop lab but it is very close and the learning

experience is very similar.

Simply put, the simulation software integrated into our programs converts your computer into

a fully functioning industrial robot, PLC control system or electronic circuit.

For example PLCLogix, the simulator in the PLC program, has the same general features

and functionality as RSLogix 5000.

With PLCLogix you learn to write a PLC program, see the program's operation using a ladder

logic simulator, and control the operation of the program from within environment.

So if any of the things above are holding you back, rest assured that our programs are

flexible enough to work around these challenges and also provide that essential hands on training

you need to master new skills.

To find out more about our programs contact

us at this toll-free 1-888-553-5333 number and speak to one of our program consultants

QuickTip: Shooting Effective Thumbnails and Why You Need Them - Duration: 3:06.

A picture's worth a thousand words.

It's also a great way to start your video, a thumbnail.

Shoot some stills.

Our giveaway for the month of June is sponsored by Dynalite with a 400-watt power pack, two

heads, an umbrella, and a Tenba case.

Get over to theslantedlens.com and try to win it.

Hi, this is Jay P. Morgan.

Today on The Slanted Lens I'm gonna talk about the need to shoot stills when you're shooting

video.

It's so important that when you're shooting video that you take a couple of minutes and

do some still shots.

The reason being is that even though you've got a wonderful video, say an interview or

something going on someone's website, everyone's going to need a thumbnail, a way to show it,

a way to introduce it, a nice image that the person is smiling, looking in the camera,

giving a nice presentation, you take a few of those shots they become your thumbnail,

your way to introduce your video.

Use this on websites, use them on YouTube, use it everywhere.

It's so important for clients.

Now, if you don't have a camera that's gonna shoot video and stills, then at least shoot

some video of the person just looking in the camera, smiling, and roll some video on that.

Now you can pull stills from that.

Because if you're gonna go back and try to get stills of them talking on your 4K video,

I don't know whoever said 4K video's absolutely simple to pull stills from because if you've

got someone talking, it's impossible.

We all...and that's what you get for a thumbnail if you don't stop.

Roll a little video where they just smile and look at the camera, maybe look off, look

over, look back, look down, without talking, now you've got some video you can pull some

decent stills from and make a great thumbnail.

A little add-on tip for you here.

If you can shoot some nice stills of the person and all the different setups you're doing

throughout the day, just pull off a few stills each time, you've now got a collection of

imagery that if they called up say, "Hey, I'd love to get some pictures from that."

Well for $800 we have all these still images we can give you.

These stills can also serve as a great reminder on how you lit and setup your scene.

If you have to go back and repeat something, you got an imaging put on your phone, you

know exactly what it look like.

And it gives you some reference you can use, so it's actually a great way to show your

lighting and keep track of the things you shot.

So if you're shooting, don't forget to roll a little video where you get a nice look of

the person smiling, or shoot some stills.

That's gonna be the thing that's going to present your piece every time it's shown.

Now if that doesn't look good, your whole piece doesn't look as good.

So shoot some stills, get some video where the person's not talking, so you'll have a

thumbnail.

So keep those cameras rolling.

Keep on clicking.
