Repairing stuff is a bit annoying.

Not to mention that loud *BANG* when it fails.

I have 90% repair chance, but it still fails quite often.

It really misses some "repair all" button. All in all I think it should have been made differently.

Like individual repair chance for each part to get it to 100%, not this clickfest.

It's not like it would make the game easier money wise, you can't repair every part anyway.

Getting rid of stuff that got totaled during repair.

Body is fixed, now to strip all the parts.

Don't forget let the oil out from the engine before removing lower pan.

If you just let it on the floor, or open the plug without the collector beneath

you're going to have to pay for floor cleaning.

Car is stripped down, now to repair what can be repaired.

Oh joy....

Really annoying... you don't have control how much is repaired.

It can be 1% or up to 100%, it looks totaly random, altough some parts seem more likely to fail.

Now to start putting things back in. Engine block didn't survive repair...

So new one has to be bought...

Buying parts is another part that could be improved a bit.

For most parts it's not an issue, but there are few of them you need in larger quantity.

For some parts up to 16, it would really help if you could buy them in quantity, not one by one.

Ooops, forgot to finish leaf spring on one side.

And that's it, completely restored.

This is not needed if you intend to sell the car, it doesn't affect the price.

But let's see how the car works.

Since this is an old timer it doesn't have ECU so Carburettor tuning is the way.

When you rise one bar others go down and vice versa. Goal is to have them aligned.

Somehow I managed to have them aligned.

And somehow even improve.

Later I figured somewhat easier way, click like crazy to get them aligned at whatever.

Then just click "-" once on each of them, repeat until they end up "big". So far worked every time.

I repainted it, again, no effect on price. Just wanted to play a bit with this part.

Well, I guess it turned out good, pretty good shade of "OMG poke my eyes out" blue color.

That's it, cost around 12k, cca another 6-8k in parts and sold for 51k.

When they keep making small talk and demanding your attention, see that as a sign for you

to ask them what is it that is bothering them at the moment?

are systematic with how you use your time.

There's no need, to keep reminding the others about what would be a reasonable choice.

It's only by tripping over and encountering a few difficulties that they realise just

how sensible you were with the guidance you offered them in the first place.

not going to do straight away.

It's not going to bother you that there will be those who are less than pleased about this.

Since you know you cannot please all the people all the time, explain your position to them,

If somebody is complaining about being down on their luck, you can offer some sympathy.

This might help them feel better.

You can also offer them some insights about how they can create some more luck when luck

is sparse.

You are aware that working hard and putting in the effort can create a bit of your own

luck.
