This week, I've had a number of clients that I've had to tell the same thing to.

So I thought, "You know what, this would be a great piece for a video."

That is that just because you feel something in your body does not mean that it is actually

yours, okay?

This is something I see a lot of people getting tripped up on – especially around money.

Money is not something you hear me talk about a whole lot.

I don't like to address that subject because it's never actually about the money.

That's why I don't tend to focus on that and it's really about going deeper and saying

"This is what I am feeling."

Are you asking the questions: does that belong to me?

Someone else?

Or something else?

Really asking it from that open perspective of not knowing what the answer is, okay?

To assume that something is yours just because you feel it in your body is not good empirical

evidence that it is actually true.

Because here's the reality: You walk into a room and let's say there's just been

people fighting.

You know that there has been an argument.

You know people are angry.

Where do you feel that?

Where do you get that awareness?

You feel it in your body.

But in this case, you know it is not yours.

You know very clearly that these other people are angry.

Well, the same thing can happen with anything in your life.

You're scrolling through Facebook and you're picking stuff up.

You're walking down the street picking things up.

You sit in your room all by yourself and you're still picking things up.

We have over 8 Billion people on this planet.

What are the odds that you are tapping into everyone else's money scarcity or any other

feelings that they're having?

This is where the diligence – that willingness to continually train that muscle of "It's

not mine.

I am not fucked up."

It has to be someone else's because you're not fucked up.

To come to that perspective as opposed to "I'm broken and I need to be fixed so

and actually find out what's going instead of making assumptions).

checking in.

Unplug from everything that is not yours.

It can be that simple.

But the challenge is doing it on a regular basis.

discounting, I did make a post on

Facebook a couple of weeks ago just a

just a text post about hyperbolic

discounting and what hyperbolic

discounting is it's the tendency for me

for you for people to take a shorter

term lesser reward rather than waiting

for the longer term potentially greater

reward basically we want it now even

though if it might be something not as

good as we could have later we'd rather

take it now I'd rather take $100 now

then wait and take $1,000 later

so I've been thinking about it off and

on since then and is it always

necessarily a bad thing or is it a bad

thing at all and I think sometimes it's

it's a negative thing I think sometimes

for the bigger picture items as far as

changing yourself changing your life

changing your career changing your

relationships those kind of things I

think you know it's a negative that

we're taking the rewards sooner and not

sticking to things long enough to see

the full potential in it but then on it

on the other side sometimes sometimes

it's better sometimes we're not taking

the rewards soon enough and we're

waiting for this longer bigger grander

thing when really we should just be

taking the reward sooner so for an

example for shorter case is that and

often probably I would think more in a

in a relationship standpoint or even in

in a work standpoint so in relationship

standpoint often people are looking for

this big grand gesture or this big

perfect romantic date or day out or

evening or trip or this amazing

opportunity to spend all this time with

your kids you know without any

interruptions or going to something like

you know super exciting that you

wouldn't normally do and we kind of push

and hold on and hold off and wait for

these things to happen but in the

interim all this time is going by and while

we are waiting for this perfect opportunity

to show up or for the time it takes for

us to be able to afford to do something

we're missing all the little little

rewards we're missing all the

opportunity to spend the five or ten

minutes together with your

your partner with your spouse or with

your kids and go and just like play at

the park with the kids or go and play a

board game with them or just you know a

quick you know I don't know lunch or

dinner out with with your partner that's

just to your local your local restaurant

you like nothing special but you got to

spend that time with them so so yeah

first I thought hyperbolic discounting

was yeah like why are we all taking

these rewards sooner and not holding off

for the bigger things but then as

thinking about a more I think there's a

time and place for for both so if you're

working on yourself and you're really

trying to make some real change and make

some substantial impact and substantial

difference then I think you don't want

to take that reward sooner you don't

want to get the little win and say oh

good I'm perfect you know I move from

here to here good enough you want to

like I move from here to here to here to

here to here to here here finally take

the reward up here but in some of these

other day-to-day life situations if you get

an opportunity to spend some time with a

loved one or spend some time with your

kids or do something for yourself

even if it's not the perfect dream

scenario that you're looking for hoping

for or wishing for

take that opportunity because I think we

need those opportunities throughout so

that we can push to the longer time

frame for the scenarios that require

that extra work that extra effort but for

the bigger reward on that side so yeah

In today Video I will explain you the technology type use for 220v to 110v converters and which

type can be used for which type of appliance.

If you are watching this video means sometime in past, now or future you are looking to

use such device in India which you imported from US and It has working input voltage of

110V.

So question is what will happen If I will inject in 220V supply or some of you already

tried this.

If you are the one who tried it share your experience in comments what happened.

First there are many companies which are building devices with a supporting adapters to manage

110v to 240v like I am using one with my surface pro 4.

But there are many appliances which are not available with adapters like this like I have

one trimming machine which only support 110v and class 2 is also written on its adapter

so then I started search for some converter which will help then It would become mess

to me.

NOw I am using appropriate adapter and i am making this video might be this information

helps someone like me who is looking for such converters.

So in short and simple words, there are mainly two type of converters one is SMPS based and

another is transformer based.

SMPS based are for those devices which need direct current and has no battery connected to

it in mid of it like blenders, mixers and dryers.

Transformer based are for the devices which has chargeable battery inside the devices

like trimmers, some electronic brushes and music players.

Now come to the type of converters available in market, SMPS based are available with load

management upto 1600 watt whereas transformer based are available up to 100 watt where most

of our battery based devices need very less like 5 watt 20 watt.

Transformer based are very heavy in weight compare to SMPS based.

Some people think that if they have one SMPS converter that can also be used for these

devices like trimmers.

No, they are wrong at this point.

They need different converters depend on their device types.
