hi everyone, by now you all know that I am
a fashion freelancer. today I am going to
share five best tips which I follow to
keep my income flowing. without any delay
let's get into the video. freelancing may
sound fancy everyone are talking about
it you also want to do it but, it is not
at all an easy thing to do. you need to
wear many hats to succeed. you have to be
a designer, client manager, financial
manager, you have to chase invoices, be a
salesperson to sell your own services.
there are many many more things you need
to know and learn and do on daily basis.
to do all these things in the best way
possible, you need these following 5 tips.
number one: have regular working hours.
time management is the key
for everyday work. you need to have time
slots for everything. at the beginning of
the day write down the task to finish
for the day in a book or on the laptop
or wherever you are comfortable. keep
reminders for each important task. when
you have the project to deliver, divide
it into small tasks and keep them as
priority work for the day. tip number 2:
be very organized. if you are not
organized, you cannot manage your time.
when email one projects email should be
kept in one folder where you can see the
conversation from the acceptance to the
end of the project and folders in my
kind of work there is a lot of research
involved that invites many images to be
downloaded I keep every project images
in specific folder it is easy for me to
find them when required I just don't put
them all on desktop or in the done
download folder they're all organized in
separate folders according to the
project organizing
is in your laptop or computer as i have
many images work-related large files i
have an external hard disk where I push
the completed work files from my laptop
I try to do this a monthly once I keep
only the current project folders in the
laptop I do the same for my youtube
videos also tip number three apply for
projects every day and follow up this is
the most important task of the day it is
selling your services or whatever you
are trying to do for earning money you
have to apply for projects without
missing a single day if you apply to ten
projects there is a chance of getting
one or two projects now calculate and
see how many projects you need to apply
for in a day once someone starts
responding to your application keep
following up there is a greater chance
to win a project when you follow up tip
number four tell you where the work
before the deadline you need to get very
serious when you have a project in hand
give a reasonable time frame for
delivery you must stick to the delivery
time that we create trust in the kind
there are no chances of him coming back
to you for any future projects of course
your world need to be the best even
better exceed the clients expectations
tip number five keep a great work
relationship with the client when
someone contacts you for a project be
polite and thanking be nice to the other
person and try to understand their
requirements with open mind every client
requirements are different my clients
are mostly startups I understand that
they have limited knowledge about the
design and the whole garment making
process I try to extend my helping hand
apart from what I have promised this
again makes the clients to understand my
expertise in the subject and he would
love to extend the work relationship
future this always worked for me there
are many clients who came back to me for
their next project those are the best
practices which I have learned with
experience has made many mistakes in the
past and reach to a state where I follow
these other rules yeah sometimes I miss
them there are low days for me too which
clearly impacts my incoming projects I
strongly tell myself to follow these
tips and hustle harder and harder to get
the project you need to work in the
beast mode hope these tips help you to
