Hello from Harajuku!
I'm here with my new friend Pixie today
She is a Canadian youtuber with the most adorable fashion I have ever seen
She's colourful af!

Today is actually the first time I've met her
She's in Japan for... How long are you here for?
Two weeks!
And she mailed me and asked to meet up
And I was like "Yes! I would love to!"
Yay!
So we're spending the day in Harajuku today
and we're gonna go thrift shopping
and we're gonna look for pastel clothes
I knew that that would be something she'd be up for
So our goal for today is to find
as many cute pastel things at the thrift stores as we can
Let's go get started!
It's a beautiful day outside and I think it's gonna be lots of fun
Yay! Let's go!
The first store we stopped at was W❤︎C
And they specialize in pastel clothing mainly
They have a really cute shop down at the bottom
But if you go upstairs they have a used section
And they seem to be really picky about the stuff they sell up there
It all has a cute and pastely theme
You'll see when we go up there
I really wanted a cute jean jacket
But I don't know what colour to get
I know, I want one of the windbreakers
I know, I've been eyeing those too!
Okay these are so cute!

And from the same store, I found these...
I'm assuming they're vintage because nobody has made troll goods for years
Vintage party hats with trolls on them
Hopefully you guys can see that, but they're troll party hats
My birthday is coming up and I'm gonna make everybody wear these
Because it's gonna be the best party ever
These were $2, 200 yen
Quite the steal, if I must say myself

It's pastels and gold and cream, it's such a nice mix of colours

I got these, they're like the wide white fishnets
Which are really trendy on the streets right now
And the last thing I got was...
This is beautiful

They had an amazing selection of these windbreakers
but this was the best one
Yeah they had so many!
It's like a big ol' juicy rack
It was about $40

President Trumps campaign visits to Flint, Michigan gave him an up close view of the
deprecated infrastructure of this once booming town.
Flint residents been crying out for months for help and now their call is finally being
answered!
"President Trump is awarding 100 million dollars to the city of Flint, Michigan!"
The funds are part of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act, which was
approved in 2016 and now being carried out by President Trump.
The money was officially awarded on Friday, and will help the city accelerate programs
to replace service lines that have leached lead in to the city's water supply.
Mayor, Karen Weaver said the city is really 'excited and very grateful' to receive
the aid from the federal government.
"The city of Flint being awarded a grant of this magnitude in such a critical time
of need will be a huge benefit," Weaver said.
President Trump supports making budget cuts to save taxpayers money, but this is an area
that he will not touch.
"Under President Trump's budget blueprint, SRF (State Revolving Fund) remains fully funded,
and the proposal provides robust funding for the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation
Act program to finance critical drinking and wastewater infrastructure," the EPA said
in a statement.
Many community activists claim that this situation has been ignored because Flint residents are
mostly black and poor.
I wonder if those same activists will praise our president for releasing the funds so quickly
to help Americans in need.
Since Trump is doing something positive to help the black community, the liberal media
will likely ignore it.
It's up to us to get the word out that President Trump cares about ALL Americans, no matter
what race they are.

Dexter's Story - Duration: 2:01.
Our first interaction with Dexter's
parents came before Dexter was even born.
We told them that the odds were less
than fifty percent that he would
probably survive and we asked their
permission to give it a shot.
As things started to progress one of the OB's
came in and he looked at how things were
going said this is it. We're going to do a C-section.
We then took him to
the NICU and started resuscitation.
I was terrified as Dexter was being born
because I just I knew so little about
what is possible with a baby who was
born at 23 weeks.
I didn't think before I was even in labor that that was
a baby that could survive.
Being in an NICU is
like a roller coaster ride and Dexter had
some ups and downs in his care.
And slowly as he started to get better and better
we started becoming more reassured that
it really was going to be okay.
It turns out the doctors were right.
The level of care that a baby receives
will determine how that baby does for
the rest of his life.
There are lots of studies that show that
babies born at the highest level centers
have a much better outcome so if you're
going to have a premature baby you
really want to have a premature baby at
a high level center like the University of Iowa.
I don't think there's a worse
thing for a parent to experience than
having a child that could die or is so sick but
we're really lucky that it happened here
in Iowa and that we have Dexter.
Seeing Dexter now is a highlight of my career
actually. I saw his mom and she showed me
a picture of him looking like a
beautiful happy baby and I said wow,
you just made my day and she came back
with well, you guys made my life.

A Special Wish for the Tooth Fairy - Duration: 3:57.
For this normal 10-year-old who was athletic and
active in riding her bike and rip-sticking and running and jumping. She
wasn't wanting to do any of it
and there was quite a bit of pain and limping and
you know for a 10-year-old kid to act like a 78 year old lady we knew it
wasn't right.
So they ordered an MRI and on June 7 we had an MRI done in Dubuque
and they stopped in the middle and administered a contrast dye.
They called us that night and told us they thought it was a syrinx
but they thought it was so big that it went the whole length of her spinal cord
and that they wouldn't touch it in Dubuque so they sent us to Iowa City.
So we met with Dr. Menezes on June 12th.
Dr. Menezes told us down here that, that she had cancer.
He told us that we could go and get another opinion
but if we didn't do anything in
less than three weeks she would be paralyzed from here down.
There was something deep down in our core that we just knew that he had to
be the one to do this
and so we just said whatever it is that has to happen we
we want you to do it and she had a surgery on June 20th.
She's doing very well today.
September 30th she had three teeth pulled out
I said well you got three teeth here. Boy you're gonna be making out big time
with the Tooth Fairy here. So I went into her room after she was asleep and
I found this note and
just blown away by this young lady because
she came from not knowing if she would ever walk again
to the place where she's at today and this note
just said that she wanted to give this money to kids that had the same kind of
cancer that she had.
Jackie came down here with eighty-six dollars. Tooth fairy money
and her birthday was October 7 and all the money she got for her birthday
she donated as well.
I just want kids to know that there's hope in having cancer and
I want kids that have this kind of cancer, that they will be able to be like
know that there's research and they know more about it.
Just that little difference will help a lot of people
and what they're struggling with.
The University of Iowa Children's Hospital
changed our lives. It's different down here.
When you're at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital
you feel like you're part of the medical team. You're part of the decision making team.
It's different when you go to your local hospital because you
have a doctor talking to you about this is what your
daughter has, this is what needs to happen. But when you get down here you
actually have a voice at the University of
Iowa Children's Hospital and you become part of that family.
We believe that Dr. Menezes and Iowa City saved her life
and gave her the best chance at a normal life.
If you have a life-changing illness
and you can't find answers anywhere else,
the University of Iowa Children's Hospital
is the place to go to.

conversation with each of those children
about their future doing a job that they
don't like just to earn some money and
living their lives without passion
without pride just getting by and just existing
you know for a fact I haven't
had that conversation because I'm a
parent and what parent would?
every parent wants their child to grow up take
education seriously pursue a career that
they're passionate about do something
they love no matter what it is
do something they love and really enjoy
their career so that they can make the most out of it
now that's what we would
advise our kids to do
yet why do we not take that advice ?
why do we get up every day and go and do jobs that we don't really love?
now I can hear some of you
screaming well I need to make money
and that's just the way it is
you're right you do but do you really want to spend
the rest of your life doing that?
do you really want to spend all of your working
career doing what you do now?
and if you don't what are you doing about it?
what kind of decisions have you made to change it ?
now for those of you looking
at me right now saying yeah well it's
all right for you Spencer
it's got nothing to do with it that's just
your excuse the reason that you are giving
yourself why you don't change what you do
of course you need to earn money
of course you need to pay the bills
I get it
but it's really important for
everybody to feel inspired every day
to feel motivated every day and excited
about thier a day ahead their week ahead
and their career in front of them
it's really important that we don't settle
and so many people do
and if you settle think about how many years you've got to settle for
you're born
when do you start work?
maybe after University at 21
if you don't go to university 18
so from 18 through to 65 you're going to be at work

you're going to be at work until you
retire at the age of 65
47 years so most of your life doing
something you don't love
why on earth would you do that?
well a lot of you are just kind of stuck in a rhythm
stuck in a routine just stuck in place and not
able to get out in your own mind or fear
what would happen if you did or
fear making a change
well if you need to earn money and you can't just step out of it
that's not a problem think about the
time that you've got after you finish
work and before you go to sleep at night
could you re-train yourself?
could you re-educate yourself?
could you do something towards creating your new goal
now the most important thing to do is
not just to think the most important
thing is to take action
and if you're doing something which i would suggest
70% of the population of this world are doing
which is a job that they don't LOVE
then you go to take some
action so that you can change it and if
you don't take action you're going to be stuck
so the first step has got to be
TAKE ACTION
take action now so that you don't end up with a
miserable mediocre average
LIFE
if you do that you're going
to get yourself into the right place and
when you're in the right place you're
going to give yourself an opportunity to
grow and when you grow you'll feel
elated you'll feel inspired and guess
what the world will start to be a better place
so take the advice that you would
give your kids take it yourself follow
it yourself do something about it get
out of that rut and get into doing
something that you're passionate about
and you love because you will make a big
difference to you to everyone around you
and to your future and that's essential
