Dragon Ball Super Episode 97 will finally finally mark the beginning of the tournament
of power. Hell Yeah, after months of waiting the time, has finally come; the action will
start right in the next episode. In Episode 96, we got introduced to almost all the participating
warriors, and yeah everything was all set. So you can expect hardcore action right from
the beginning of the next episode. This is literally what will make your life worth it,
Are You Ready?!
The trailer begins as we see Goku and Toppo about to collide, but I bet that's not really
what's happening or will be happening this early. This is just two different shots put
side by side to make it look cool!
Both Toppo and Goku are major fighters, and I believe initially such big battles won't
take place. In this scene, you can see Goku fighting the spy dude from Universe 4, this
guy was the one who came to earth and leaked information about the inclusion of Frieza.
Many people think he will be among the last survivors, kind of being the thing of Universe
4, but most probably he will not go too far. Doesn't look all that strong to me, you
can see Base Goku is getting the upper hand against him. However, if the Spy Dude isn't
that strong, then who from Universe 4 will keep going until the end? We have seen their
team fighters, but we literally know nothing about them beforehand. If you go by looks,
there's this giant guy, but in the Dragon Ball Universe often times the strongest fighters
are the weirdest or the weakest looking. I mean The God of Everything, the one who is
said to be above all from what we know till now, Zeno looks like a Pokemon. Going by that
law, this little Pokemon might be the real deal, but yeah I really don't know.
On the other hand, Toppo is seen fighting that juice dude from Universe 10. I don't
think he is too strong, might have strength but shall be very unskilled, but this guy
was portrayed like the leader or the strongest of U10. If he is indeed the strongest, I think
U10 stands no chance and will be wiped clean real fast.
So you see Toppo and Goku will be busy smashing some weaklings so no don't expect them going
head to head this early. Goku v Jiren has also been teased in this preview, and yeah
that's not going happen either. There can be stare downs, look of admirations or shits
like that. It looks like Goku will be trying to fight Jiren but other opponents will keep
obstructing, the episode 98 spoilers even says Goku will take on 8 fighters at the same
time, and he is all pumped up about it. Some fans were saying it would be The Pride Troopers
with the exception of Toppo and Jiren, but I think it would be from some other weaker
Universes. Because making Goku take on 8 of the Pride Troopers would be going against
their reputation.
In this shot we see this Female Trooper; she looks similar to that female Bojack Unbound
character. Here we see what looks like 2 insignificant greenish fighters. The Fox guy is from Universe
4, and I don't find U4,9 and 10 to be interesting. I think these 3 Universes will have the worst
performance.
We have 2 big dudes from Universe 4 and 9 fighting here. I think only this Giant from
among U4 has my interest. On the other hand, this fighter has some resemblance with Groot!
I bet there will be some teamwork going on between this Groot Guy and the red one who
was seen with him in the last episode. Since the tournament of power has a lot to do with
teamwork these 2 might put up a decent performance together.
The Trio of Danger, well we know they aren't that dangerous, but Goku did say Bergamo was
holding back, and wonder if the energy of the last encounter will help him.
In this scene, Master Roshi transforms into his buffed form, most fans think he will be
the first to get eliminated, but I think he will survive the primary elimination phase.
I think Android 18 and Tien will be the firsts to get eliminated.
Universe 3 looks intense, and my guess is initially they will be very dominant. As most
of them are robots and has been modified for this tournament; things will be spot on in
the beginning for them. However, at some point, someone will find their limitation or weakness,
and ¾ th of the team will get eliminated in no time. I don't know why my mind desires
to see Vegeta break some of these robots, he just looks good destroying robotic stuff.
This much intensity has got Zeno excited for sure, looks like they are having fangasm or
something. They are reacting in a way a fan would react if he got to watch this action
live.
In this shot, we see Android 17 defending an attack. This is a strong defense shield
technique, and we saw him quite easily defending SSB Goku's Kamehameha using it.
Well, guys, that's all for now. I really got late with this preview, when I am uploading
less than 24 hours is left. I thought better we have a small pre-episode discussion than
