I'm Gabriella and in this lesson, we are looking at this expression.

Do you know what it means?

Ping it over.

Ping it over.

Now let's take a look at this expression in a sample conversation.

Person A says, "I finished writing the report.

Do you want to check it over before the meeting?"

Person B replies, "Yes.

Can you ping it over?"

So, what does this expression mean?

Well, it means to send something by e-mail.

So "ping" is a kind of sound that's very fast.

So it's the idea of digital communication.

Can you quickly send it over?

Can you ping it over with just one simple click?

And it's used in business a lot these days.

It's very familiar English, especially between native speakers.

So you can use this expression too.

Let's practice this phrase together.

Please repeat after me.

Ping it over.

Ping it over.

Great.

Now let's put it into context.

Let's take a look at the same sample conversation again.

I will be A and you will be B to practice the expression.

I finished writing the report.

Do you want to check it over before the meeting?

OK.

Great.

So you should have said, "Yes.

How to organize your stuff, Quick Tips, Declutter | Organize with me! [CC] - Duration: 8:24.

Hi everybody! I'm super excited for today's video. Thank you so much for joining me!

(upbeat music intro)

As I spoke about in my previous video, this is a new series in

which I hope we can be more interactive in tackling and organizing project in

our own life, share our successes, share our tips, and basically support each other.

I've been a fan of organizing pretty much my whole life so I'm so

excited to be able to share my enthusiasm, my tips and my strategies

with you in hopes that it can help you out.

I have made a little checklist here.

That I'm going to link in the description below. Feel free to click on that link

and download this for you to keep. We'll be going through it for today's project.

One of the principles I really want to talk about when we talk about organizing

is that it doesn't have to be complicated and it doesn't have to be

expensive. I know it can feel daunting if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of

things that you have to sort through or you don't have a lot of space to do it. I

think the most important thing is that if you have the will and the

determination and the courage to tackle it, you will be successful. And this relates to what I call Step One.

When I'm tackling an organizing project I first

envision my end goal. Now I know that might sound oversimplified but I really

want you to try and take your mental place to envisioning how you will

function in or with this organized space, with these belongings. In short, what do

you want this space, this drawer, these shelves, to look like when you're done?

Take a moment and think about that, jot it down, help it formulate maybe your process.

Okay now we're ready to dig in. Now today, for me, for my project, I

want to organize this game bench. This is a bench that my husband and I bought

several years ago to Ikea and it houses all of our games. We like to play games.

We're very competitive. Unfortunately though, we've accumulated

so many games they don't fit functionally in this space. Now this

particular project illustrates what I think a lot of people struggle with and

it's really a binary condition of organizing. Either you have too much

stuff for the space that you have or you don't have enough space to fill what you

need. And it's figuring out what your angle or what your options are

will help you figure out the strategy for solving your problems. I don't have

any other space in house where I can have our games. I need to make this work.

And because I have more games than I have space I'm going to have to

prioritize. I have a box here and I'm basically going to use this box as a

place to put the lower priority games and I will store this in our shed or our

garage. That way we still have them if we want them and maybe sometime down the

road we will end up donating them. With that said, let's head to Step 2: Clear your target space.

Now this could be the most scary part in an organizing project.

because as I put on this sheet, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

I'm a strong advocate for when you're tackling an organizing project you need

to clear the space. You need to empty out the drawer fully, you need to

clear out the room, or at least the section of the room, you need to empty that

closet. And that can get kind of chaotic and overwhelming at first. But if you see

the steps through that I suggest, it will be okay and I think you'll find it's the

most efficient way to really tackle all your stuff. So that's what we're going to do now.

(music plays)

Okay so once you have everything clear onto space, then I suggest you sort

like items together. So here I have my board games and then I have all my kind

of playing cards, cribbage boards, and miscellaneous, MadLibs, and some other miscellaneous items here.

Okay, so now here this is where it gets to be the fun part: putting things away.

So again part of my end goal and vision for this drawer is that I can easily pull out games to play with and put

them back easily without having the whole drawer implode.

So I need to think about some strategies that can help make that happen.

Because the depth and the dimensions and the awkwardness of this drawer, stacking is not a good idea I

don't want to have to pull out to get to what's at the bottom of the pile. So for

the board game boxes I go for an approach of filing them vertically.

Now here is an example where we have two Scrabble boards. I don't need two Scrabble

boards in this drawer. So I'm going to stick with the newer one and put the

older ones in storage.

Now these are actually just cards so I don't know if I

need a whole big bulky box...

See look at that-- look at how much waste there is.

So I'm going to actually take these out of the box, because this is just taking up a

lot of space that I don't need for it to be taking up.

Hey Little Man.

Hey! You want to help mommy organize? This is Alton everybody, if you haven't met him yet.

This is our almost four year old golden retriever, fur-son...

Woof! Yeah, okay.

Go get some water buddy. Go get some water.

Using plastic baggy's I think is a prime example of where you can take ordinary

things from around your house and utilize them for an organizational purpose.

(music plays)

I don't know if you can kind of tell but because this is a deeper drawer, one of the

things I'm doing is I'm putting things away vertically and not horizontally because

they're tall enough-- the drawer is tall enough to let me do that.

And it's still quick access.

And there you have it folks. A nice, neatly organized, game bench,

(sounds of kids cheering)

where I can get to everything easily, without having it collapse in on itself.

Well that's it for today's video guys. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope that you have done

as I suggested and organized along with me, pausing the video at every step and I'd

love you how about your project, your success, what have you tackled? Maybe take

a before picture and after picture. Thanks again so much for watching.

Please give this video a thumbs up if you liked it. Subscribe if you're enjoying it. I'm

going to be doing more of these kind of videos and check out what other videos I

have on my channel. Lots of different stuff. Also don't forget you can download this

link in the description below. Take care guys. Have a good one! Bye

Asian "French" Man Teaches Art with Passion HAWHAWHAW | Passpartout - Duration: 8:49.

I wasn't done naming my art what is this?

Bonjour, welcome to Benjamin's art class- Where you will learn, how to create, THE FINEST

ART, the people, will ever see.

THE BEST that you will ever create- With your own two hands.

Have you ever thought to yourself, when you are looking at the Mona Lisa, when you are

looking at The Scream, la Starry Nights and you think to yourself-

Je peux faire mieux.

So- If you want to learn art, you got to do it in the French way.

To do that, you need to learn how to draw with PASSION.

To draw with passion is very simple.

You just need to use the "Tool of Passion".

That, mon ami, haw haw haw, is how, we Francois, do it.

So, what is the "Tool of Passion"?

Let moi show you :-)

This is a "Tralala".

But, if you can use your imagination?

YOU can transform la Tralala into ARGH.

So, this is how you do it.

**Begins drawing like a boss**

As you can see, that on the right side, is moi hard at work.

Moi work so hard, that somehow, I've become green in color.

That is not a bad thing because you see- Green is the color of les vegetable.

And what is les vegetable?

Les vegetable is healthy, it's good for you.

And that, mon ami, is ARGH.

As I've said earlier, if you want to create argh, you have to use les "Tool of Passion".

So, let us continue.

So do you see how les "Tool of Passion" can help you create ARGH?

This is a magnifique picture of a baseball player, is it not?

Isn't this tres bien?

Yes, let us sell this.

And this, shall be called "Les Falling Baseball" because the baseball is falling.

It's that simple.

So "This is fairly well made" and the man is offering 113 Euros for the "Falling Baseball"

and you know?

I do think this is a fair price.

I will take it.

You can have it, my friend.

I hope you cherish it for 117 Euros.

Thank you, merci.

Unfortunately my friend, I do not have much time left for the tutorial.

However, I will not leave you like this.

Monseiur Benjamin is fantastique, is he not?

Let us continue.

So, this is magnifique is it not?

AWHAWHAW.

It is a good painting, is it not?

Let's see- Ah-ha monseiur, would you be interested in a picture of a Flamingo?

Monseiur, let me hold your coffee while you look at my art.

Monseiur?

Would you like th- 154 Euros?!

Well...

That is not so bad.

"This artist seems to know their craft".

Why thank you, man of great taste.

And I am happy that you love it too, that you decided to dance when you buy it.

**PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR**

So that is all the time we have today for the lesson in art with monseiur Benjamin.

Hope you enjoyed this video I've made to teach you a little thing or two about art and if

you do enjoyed that- Do let me know in the comments section.

Did you learn anything today about art with monseiur Benjamin?

OF COURSE you did HAWHAW what am I saying?

So- If you do create something of your own, and you want to share it with monseiur Benjamin,

just let me know in the comments or maybe email me and I will be very happy to look

at your work.

Even though we know the work will not be as good as monseiur Benjamin's?

It's okay you just need to remember- You gotta use the Tool of la Passion.

If you use the tool of La Passion, you will create ARGH!

So that will be all for today, lesson's over.

I hope you have a good day and I will talk to you again in the next video.

Au revoir!

Weekend Reflection - July 16, 2017 - Duration: 1:45.

- Hello everyone, and welcome to our weekend reflection

brought to you by Spirit Juice Studios.

This weekend I want to present a challenge

to everyone who's watching these videos.

It's the scripture challenge.

Well let me explain, in the context of our gospels.

In the gospels this weekend, Jesus talks about the seed

that is being planted by the sower,

and the seed is a metaphor for the Word,

and through Jesus' examples, his metaphors,

and his explaining, we come to the realization

that our faith is not something

that we can just take for granted,

it's something that has to be

cultivated and protected within us.

In order for us to have good soil where the seeds can grow,

we have to ward off all the pitfalls that Jesus talks about.

He talks about how anxiety and the lure of riches

can be something that chokes out the Word,

a lack of understanding.

That's why I'm presenting to you the scripture challenge.

The scripture challenge is basically this.

For the next seven days, starting with

the day that you see this video,

open up one of the gospels and you read

seven verses to one chapter, so in that range.

Seven verses a day or one chapter a day.

Read those verses, just sit for a few minutes

thinking about that and praying about it,

and then I want you to just write a paragraph.

Journal about it for a second.

At the end of your seven days,

I want you to comment in the comments below

of your experience of doing that.

The scriptures are a living Word that speak to us.

If we want to grow in discipleship

and have the life that is a great adventure,

those seeds have to go deep within our hearts.

Crack open the gospel, read seven verses to a chapter,

and then journal about it,

and then comment about your experience below.
