My 5 Most Wanted Games - Have You Heard of These Obscure RPGs? - Duration: 5:03.

Today I wanted to upload a "fun" video in between reviews.

They may look effortless but trust me, this channel is a lot of work.

Fun work, but work.

So let's talk about some games I haven't played, in fact I don't even own them.

But I'd *like* to.

If you're not a regular viewer you may not be aware of this dirty little secret but:

I really like RPGs.

So much so, in fact that I hoard them like a greedy RPG-lovin' dragon.

But I don't own ALL THE RPGS – not yet.

And so for the pleasure of your eyeballs and ears I now present my personal "5 Most Wanted

Games".

NUMBER 5: Revengers of Vengence (for the Sega CD) – I

have to confess the dumb title is fifty percent of the reason I want to own this thing.

It's redundant and silly.

So stupid that it's hilarious.

Revengers of Vengence.

That's like saying the Heroics of Heroism.

Or the Soupières of Soup.

But I also want this turdly gem because it's an RPG – sort of.

Just like it's sort of a 2d fighter and soft-of a Shoot-em-up.

And there's nothing that excites me more than a train-wreck of a failed hybrid RPG.

But I also don't want to pay cash monies for bad games so for now I wait for a good

deal on bad rubbish.

NUMBER 4: Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask (for the

PlayStation 2) There are certainly more popular PS2 RPGs

I don't own yet – but they're also expensive and to be honest what I tend to like on the

PS2 hasn't always aligned well with what the general populace loved.

So when I see an adorable traditional RPG that isn't getting much attention I'm

naturally curious about why.

Maybe Inuyasha was written off as licensed-anime crap.

Or maybe most people confuse Secret of the Cursed Mask for that other Inuyasha game.

Whatever the reason my curiosity is piqued and I must experience it for myself.

NUMBER 3: Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land (for the Nintendo

DS) A Zelda game staring the flamboyantly gay

fairy from WindWaker (only my favoritest 3D Zelda EVER) in a European exclusive.

Words cannot express my desire for this title.

The whole premise is ridiculous and the adventure is absolutely porked with camp humor.

While I'm disappointed that Nintendo didn't consider this a viable release in the US,

I can begrudgingly understand why.

Tingle is not the most popular character in the Zelda-verse and people of other nations

tend to view Americans as a bunch of intolerant buttholes.

So to atone for our collective bigotry we miss out on the official Zelda title even

weirder than those CDi abominations.

Thanks guys.

NUMBER 2: Dragon Slayer (for the TurboGrafx CD)

Today turn-based 2D RPGs are a dying breed, but they're perhaps my favorite subgenre

for classic consoles.

This might belay me to be a total dork –surprise– but I find something very relaxing about wandering

in circles and mashing A. I own just about everything that's been released in English,

so naturally I've got to have the one title I don't.

It also doesn't hurt that I'm a fan of Falcom's Legend of Heroes, of which Dragon

Slayer is the first of the series.

And hey, that dated 90's techno soundtrack and cringey voice over are just begging for

my attention.

NUMBER 1: Harvest Moon (for the Super Nintendo)

Harvest Moon is the only game on my list that I've already played but it's ridiculously

expensive and I refuse to dump $300 into a game with 47 sequels.

But I also love Harvest Moon and I really want it but not enough to sell a kidney so

it's sitting pretty at the tipy-top of my gaming wishlist.

Also Ann is best wife.

And there you have it.

The 5 RPGs that I, at this very moment, most want to cram into my overburdened shelving

display.

Viewers, which of these games have you played?

Are they under-appreciated classics or am I potentially throwing away good money.

Typty-type-type in the comment section below with your input – I am looking forward to

reading it.

Once again 'thank you' for watching DariaPlaysRPGs and remember to stay tuned for more RPG reviews

and relevant discussions.

Laura Branigan - "Touch" Album Promo Interview [cc] - CNN Showbiz Today (1987) - Duration: 2:03.

'Falls apart like shattered glass'

Laura Branigan hasn't been on the charts in a couple of years

But, that's probably because she hasn't made a record in a couple of years

But, she has one now

Her fifth album, 'Touch'

Her single 'Shattered Glass' is now on the charts and Cheryl Washington spoke to the singer about her comeback

The first consideration Laura Branigan made when she chose songs for her new album 'Touch' was emotion

Her latest single, 'Shattered Glass' is a perfect example

of how Laura Branigan feels when her lover goes too far in the relationship

'You keep running hot and blowing cold'

'And, everything you hold just falls apart like shattered glass'

Branigan not only feels the songs she sings

but, she experiences them through acting

With singing, you know, every song you sing is a story

And, in order to have the people feel it, the audience

you have to feel it yourself

For me, singing and acting, you know, are very instinctive

It's easy for me to let myself go in that-

when I'm, you know, inside of the song or acting

Branigan took a 2 year leave of absence from recording and touring

to appear in an Australian movie

But, she maintains, singing is her preference, despite a rocky start

I had gotten a lot of rejections from record companies

I sort of had this big voice, so I didn't really have time to find myself

or find out what my sound was

I just knew that I wanted to touch people

Branigan has touched a lot of people with her million selling hits

And, she hopes the current album will have the same results as the first

Musically, how do you think you've grown since your very first 'Branigan" album?

Now I really think that this album is the first

album where I've really come into my own

And, I've, I have-

This is exactly the way I want to sound

That Laura Branigan sound can be heard in concerts across the country and in Europe

Top 10 Clothing Designs You Should Know About in 2016

Oscar de la Renta. Though not technically still alive, Oscar de la Renta continues to cast a long shadow over high fashion. His eponymous fashion label dresses some of the most recognizable names in Hollywood.

It's a great cultural achievement for an ambitious immigrant from the Dominican Republic, one not to be diminished anytime soon.

He's the creative direction at Maison Martin Margiela, and has a new collection to be released in January. He's important now, because this is a comeback moment, after a major scandal in 2011.

His future depends on critics' reaction to this all-important collection.

A driving force in the industry, Henry still has yet to break into the big time. His rise has been interspersed with many setbacks, with his take on 3) mid-century couture is indelible.

This may be the year he becomes and industry in his own right.

The youngest person on this list, so far. Jacquemus is from Paris, and brings the freewheeling spirit of a Millennial in his fun, colorful designs.

Some people decry his designs as unsophisticated, but when you're this comfortable and having this much fun, who cares?.

He's an employee at Oscar de la Renta (the brand), but he's also worked for big names like 5) Vuitton and Ricci.

Copping is modern luxury through and through, and he is likely to have significant influence, even if his name isn't on the building.

After stepping out from under the auspice of Louis Vuitton, Jacobs has faced challenges in establishing himself as a brand in his own right.

2016 could be the year, or it might not after a less-than-enthusiastic reception to his collection from last spring. Louisa and Pookie Burch.

This may be two names, but they're inseparable in the fashion community. Louisa and Pookie are siblings, from a famous fashion family.

Color and silhouette are their calling card. Nostalgia and throwback styles are their playground, with clothes looking like what high school would've looked like, had it been designed by masters.

An alum of Ralph Lauren's fashion house, Zaid is now out on his own, having survived this way for two years. Words like "sculptural" and "architectural" are often evoked to describe his heady designs.

These are smart designs, but you'll be comfortable in them for sure.

The only shoe designer on this list (at least the only one who does shoes only), Andrew brings a high level of sophistication to the things you wear on your feet. Shoe lovers everywhere know him.

This may be the year he becomes a household name. 10. J.W. Anderson.

Known primarily for a simple tote, Anderson shows how reinventing a simple accessory can bring incredible relevance to your brand. Enjoy his clothes in 2016 and look better than your friends.

How to Take Maca - Duration: 2:56.

Hey, it's Logan Christopher from Lost Empire herbs and in this video we're talking

about maca. Maca is an herb from Peru and surrounding areas that has come up hot

on the scene, a lot of people are aware of this herb and the benefits that it

can bring - most notably the benefits to libido and also the benefits to energy.

Now, maca is interesting, different people are affected by different way. Some

people just a tiny amount is going to give up lots of energy and they'll

definitely be able to feel it, other people need much larger amounts and of

course like everyone no herb works for every single person.

At Lost Empire Herbs herbs we have two different types of maca available, it's

both from black maca roots maca is coming in a couple different colors, but

we have the raw maca available and then gelatinized maca.

Now basically gelatinized is just a fancy word for cooked that processes in a

certain way that was traditionally done by the people in the Andes Mountains.

Personally for myself I prefer the gelatinized Maka I feel that it works a

little bit better for me, but that being said I love both types of maca, they

taste really great that's something that I really like about this herb especially

since you use, can use larger amounts is that it tastes great has a really good

kind of multi caramel eat flavor that can work very well with a bunch of

things. So our recommended dose is one tablespoon to three tablespoons daily,

like I said on the higher end of that dose it's definitely bigger but can taste

really great. So a simple way you can take this is just take the powder like

this and mix it into water, however because of that great taste I'd

like to mix this into more other things my personal favorite way of taking it is

I add a teaspoon or so into coffee and take that with my morning drink, but this

is great in the smoothies of different kinds it mixes well with different

protein powders that you may want to use. Let's mix this in here

and drink it. Like I said, that great sort of multi maca flavor, once you've tasted

maca then you'll be quite familiar with that it's going to be slightly different

between the raw and the gelatinized, really since this is a relatively cheap product so I

recommend to try them both out see which one that you prefer, for me personally

it's gelatinized maca but for other people definitely the raw maca is the

way to go. That's why we make both of these available.

Maca we have a lot more information about that available at our website if

you're not there you'll find a link around this video, but there you can find

the scientific details, research behind maca, you can read reviews from customers

you can see a bunch more as well as even more directions on how to take it, how

you may want to use it, dosage frequently asked questions all that. So check it out

10 difficult words to say in British and American English - Duration: 9:47.

Are there any words that you're pronouncing wrongly in English?

Let's find out.

We're going to look at ten words that are tricky, see how some English learners say

them and see how Jay and I say them.

So in British and American English.

Ready?

First word…

Comfortables - ah, no 's'.

Comfortable.

Comfortable.

Comfortable.

No, no, no.

It's comfortable.

Comfortable.

3 syllables.

We write it like it has 4 - comf-or-ta-ble, but the 'or' disappears.

Comfortable Comfortable.

That's the thing about English pronunciation.

We often don't say what we write.

OK.

Next one.

Months, months, months.

Months Months.

Not bad.

It's hard to pronounce this word because it's got the 'th' sound quickly followed

by 's'.

You have to pull your tongue back very fast.

Months.

Months.

Be careful not to say month-es.

It's just one syllable.

Months.

Now here's a secret.

If you say muns or munts, we'll understand.

We say that too when we're speaking fast.

Muns.

Munts.

OK, next one.

Receep.

Receep.

Nope.

Recipe.

Nearly.

It has three syllables but the stress is on the first syllable.

Recipe Mmmm.

This soup is delicious.

It was my mother's recipe.

The next word looks similar.

Recept.

Receipt.

Recept.

No.

We don't pronounce the 'p'.

It's silent.

Receipt Receipt

A receipt is a document that shows you've paid for something.

Let's hear it in a sentence.

Yes?

I'd like to return this sweater.

Do you have the receipt?

No, I'm sorry.

I lost it.

Did you pay by credit card?

No, I paid cash.

Then I'm sorry.

I can't help you.

But I just bought it this morning.

Next word.

Literature.

Literature.

Literature.

It's hard.

How many syllables does it have?

Jay and I say it differently.

Literature.

Literature.

Did you hear the difference?

In British English it just has three syllables and in American it has four.

Lit-e-ra-ture.

Lite-ra-ture.

Literature.

Literature.

There's a great way to practise long words like this.

It's called backchaining.

You start at the back of the word and work forward.

ture-rature-literature.

Try it.

ture-rature-literature.

Great.

Next one.

Let's have something easier.

Busy.

Busy.

It's nearly right but notice the vowel sound.

It's not ooo - and it's not u like in bus.

It's /I/ like in bit.

Can we talk?

I'm a bit busy.

Busy.

Busy.

OK, next one.

Debt.

Debt.

No.

Debt.

Pretty close!

Debt. Debt.

A debt is money that you owe someone.

You borrowed some money and now you're in debt.

But the letter b is silent.

Listen.

Debt.

Debt.

Another word like that is doubt – when you're not sure if something is true.

Yes.

That has a silent 'b' too.

I doubt if you can say the next word.

Let's see.

Hierarchy.

Hierarchy.

Hierarchy.

No, that's not right.

Hierarchy.

Hierarchy.

This word means a system where people are organized into different levels of importance.

So like in a company with the boss at the top.

Hierarchy.

Hi-er-ar-chy – it's four syllables but sometimes we run the first two together so

it's almost three.

Hier-ar-chy.

Let's back chain it.

Say it with me.

chy – archy – hierarchy.

Great, next one.

This one's very common.

Aren't.

Aren't.

Aren't.

No, all wrong.

When you contract are and not, you have to make them one syllable.

But Jay and I say this word differently.

Listen.

Aren't.

Aren't.

My r is much softer and Jay's is stronger.

Aren't.

Aren't.

Say it the American way!

It doesn't matter which way you say it, but make sure it has just one syllable.

And sometimes we don't pronounce the 't'.

Yeah.

When we're speaking casually we both put a stop on the t, so it ends abruptly.

Aren'.

Aren' - We aren' finished yet.

That's right.

We aren'.

Here's the next word Crisps.

Crisps.

Crisps.

Crisps.

Crisps.

These are crisps.

The tricky thing here is the 'sps' at the end – sps.

Try it.

sps. sps.

Crisps Crisps

But we don't call these crisps in America.

We call them potato chips.

Say chips.

No chips are different.

We have fish and chips.

They're French fries.

OK, last word.

This one's very tricky.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

No, I don't know.

Thoroughly.

Je sais pa.

It's very hard.

It's got a th sound and then an ^ vowel and then an r and an l sound.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

Thoroughly.

Let's back chain it.

Say it with me.

ly–oroughly-thoroughly.

ly–oroughly-thoroughly.

Could you say it?

And that's it.

We want to say a big thank you to our English learners: Remi, Fenando and Hugo.

They were such great sports.

Now let us know in the comments below what words you find hard to pronounce in English

and perhaps we'll make another video about them.

Or send us a video an we'll see if you're saying a word correctly.

See you all next week!

Bye.

Bye-bye.

What strange versions you have, Grandmother - Duration: 1:58.

Little Red Riding Hood is so pervasive, it's just such a familiar tale.

I have since been discovering there are many, many, many versions.

One has Little Red being helped by a wasp, a bird, and a crone. They save her, Grandma is toast.

There's a really old version and in that one the wolf has already eaten grandmother.

He's chopped her up, puts some blood in a bottle

and then Little Red comes in and the wolf says, as grandma, "Oh I've got some meat and some wine for you."

And so she eats it- so she eats her grandmother! It's really disgusting.

Then she gets in the bed with him and he's getting ready to eat her

and she says, " Oh I have to go, I have to go pee. " In some versions she has to poop.

and he says, "Well, do it in the bed," and she's like, "No, that's gross. I have to go outside."

and the wolf says, "well, you'll run away," and she says, "If you're afraid I'll run away,

tie a string around my foot". So he does. She goes outside, she unties the string, and she gets away.

Some of the pictures I have seen, in the really, really old versions, they're quite suggestive.

Some of the wood cuts from some

really, really, early books, like 1770 was the first one I saw here,

Little Red is in the bed with the wolf and she's kind of got her hand out sort of petting him, like, "Hey, Mr. Wolf!".

It just kind of makes me wonder,

what is the story really about? It's really fascinating.

THE WHOLE TRUTH about what you need to be successful... - Duration: 1:01.

You just gotta have fun!

You just gotta help people...

You just gotta do what makes you feel stress-free.

And there are people in your life

that are gonna tell you that you need to do X, Y, and Z

so that you can accomplish being a lawyer,

so that you can accomplish being a pediatrician,

so that you can accomplish being an orthopedic surgeon,

or even being a professional athlete.

There are people that are gonna tell you

that you need to meet these qualifications

in order to do that, and that is PART of the truth,

but the WHOLE TRUTH, the OTHER half,

is that WHO YOU ARE is what's gonna take you there.

Meaning...not just "being a lawyer",

but BEING THE PERSON that wants
