Waching daily Sep 26 2017

Hi guys. Welcome to AZCookbook. I am Feride. Today we are traveling to Georgia and

making a delicious Georgian dish called Chakhokhbili. It is chicken cooked with

tomatoes, onions and spices, I've tweaked this recipe so many times over the years

and perfected it so that you guys have an enjoyable experience recreating it at

home. Let's get started. These are the

ingredients we'll need. I have one 3- pound chicken that I've cut up into 10 pieces. You

can cut it up into 12 pieces as well. I have 3 medium onions that I peeled and

sliced thinly - this makes about 4 cups packed sliced onions. I have 6 medium

tomatoes that I coarsely chopped without peeling. 5 garlic cloves peeled

and I have butter to fry the onion and chicken, about a cup of chopped fresh

cilantro, a little bit of red pepper flakes, crushed, salt and pepper and the

main ingredient or one of the essences of Georgian cooking - the spice mix

called khmeli-suneli. It's' a mixture of lots of spices and

dried herbs, it includes coriander fenugreek,

paprika, parsley, marigold and other spices. This is optional to use in this

dish but it really gives the dish a nice Georgian flavor. I've melted some butter

in a large frying pan and I added some olive oil to the butter to

prevent the butter from burning. I am adding all of the onions to the pan. I'm

going to fry the onion stirring it from time to time

until it's light golden. I'm going to add a pinch of salt

so give the onions a caramelized color while they cook. The onion is ready,

it's light golden. I am going to to transfer it onto a separate plate

leaving the butter in the pan. Now, in the same pan I'm going to brown

the chicken on both sides. [Add the onion and tomatoes to the browned chicken]. Salt and pepper to taste.

and our Georgian spice khmeli-suneli, so about a teaspoon. I'm giving it a stir

and then I'm going to cover the pan and cook the dish for about

30 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and is tender. I cooked my chicken

and tomatoes for about 30 minutes and the last 10 minutes I uncovered the pan

to let the juices evaporate a little bit. And this is the consistency that we

ended up with. Look, we still have some juices in the pan or tomatoes collapsed.

It just looks so beautiful and chicken is tender. Now the last step. I have

garlic here and I'm going to crush it in my mortar and pestle, all of it, and you

can adjust the amount of garlic to a taste, I have 5 cloves here and to the

garlic I add my fresh cilantro and I'm gonna leave a

little bit for the garnish. I am going to pound these together and this is what I

got. The reason I'm doing this is to make sure that the garlic and cilantro

release their flavors and aromas and they blend together nicely. I love this

method. So I'm going to add this mixture to the pan with the chicken. All of it. Just scatter around. I'm also

adding crushed red pepper to it, but add it to taste - if you don't like much

heat in your dishes, don't add any at all. I am just going to sprinkle a little bit.

Look at this colors! I am going to stir to make sure we have garlic and cilantro all over the chicken and I'm

going to turn off the heat and put the dish aside . We don't have to cook it at

this point. Our chicken with tomatoes is ready. It's nicely cooked. Take a closer

look you guys. We have so many beautiful colors in there, and tomatoes have cooked

beautifully, I did not peel the tomatoes. Garlic cilantro - we did not cook them

much, we just turned off the heat and they continued to cook in the carryover

heat. it is an absolutely beautiful looking dish and I cannot wait to try it. That

spice mix called khmeli-suneli made all the difference, it added so much flavor

to the dish you, can not believe it. And then we have cilantro and garlic that

are a little bit fresh in the dish, you can feel their flavors. Absolutely

incredible. Try this recipe, make it for yourself,

make it for your loved ones, it's so delicious. The Georgian chicken chakhokhbili

should be on your table any time of the day. Thank you so much for watching

me. Please subscribe to my channel and share it with your friends and also get

the detailed recipe on my blog AZCookbook.com. See you soon! Bye!

CAULIFLOWER BREAD! • Low Carb Bread Recipes •

In a food processor, let's add:

4 cups of cauliflower rice

1/2 cup of coconut flour

1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baking soda

5 medium eggs

and 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice

Then pulse until smooth.

Grease a loaf pan with coconut oil and cover with baking paper.

I'm using here a 20cm one.

Then add in the batter, making the surface even.

We will bake it in 2 stages:

First, bake it for 10 minutes ⏰ in a preheated oven at 190C (374F).

Then reduce the temperature to 180C (356F) and bake it for more 50 minutes. ⏰

Or until risen, golden, and cooked through.

It's DONE! 🎉

This is a very delicate bread!

So let it cool in the tin, before removing from it.

I also suggest toasting the slices before serving.

I've managed to cut it into 12 thick slices, with 3 grams of net carbs each.

YUM! SO GOOD!

Medicare & You: World Osteoporosis Day - Duration: 1:04.

Hi, I'm Angela at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

October 20 is World Osteoporosis Day and a perfect time to learn more

about osteoporosis and whether you're at risk.

Osteoporosis is a condition that causes bones to become weak and break

easily.

You might not know you have osteoporosis until your bones are so weak

that a sudden strain, bump, or fall causes your wrist to break or your

hip to fracture. Medicare can help you prevent or detect osteoporosis at

an early stage, when treatment works best. If you're 65 or older, talk

to your doctor about getting a bone mass measurement--it may be free.

Learn more about what puts you at risk for osteoporosis, and how to

prevent or treat it at the NIH Osteoporosis and Related Bone Diseases

National Resource Center. To learn more about your Medicare benefits,

check out other videos in our Medicare & You video series on You Tube,

or visit Medicare.gov.

Medicare & You: National Donor Day - Duration: 1:30.

Hi, I'm Angela the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. February 14th is

national donor day and it's the perfect time to share some important information

with you about becoming an organ donor. Did you know there are nearly 120,000

patients on the waiting list to receive life-saving organ transplants?

Registering as a donor means you can help save up to 8 lives through organ

donations. There are two ways to become a donor. While you're alive you can donate

one kidney, one lung or a portion of the liver, pancreas or intestine. As a

deceased donor, you can donate both of your kidneys, your

liver, both of your lungs, your heart, your pancreas and your intestines. Over 80

percent of people on the transplant list need a kidney transplant, usually due to

permanent kidney failure or end-stage renal disease, which is also known as

ESRD. Medicare covers kidney transplants for both the person getting the

transplant and the donor. If you're getting the transplant you pay twenty

percent of the Medicare approved amount for doctors services, and if you're the

living donor you pay nothing. February 14th is most commonly known as

Valentine's Day or a day for celebrating love, but it's also National Donor Day.

You can celebrate both when you give the gift of life. To learn more about your

Medicare benefits check out the other videos in our Medicare and You series

Medicare & You: National Kidney Month - Duration: 1:29.

Hi, I'm Angela at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

March is National Kidney Month, and I've got some important information

to share with you about kidney health. Did you know that 1 in 3 American

adults is at risk for kidney disease? Major risk factors for kidney

disease include diabetes, high blood pressure, a family history of

kidney failure and being 60 or older.

Now, the best way to fight kidney disease is to find it before trouble

starts. But, if you've already been diagnosed, ask your doctor if you're

eligible for Medicare's kidney education sessions.

If you have Stage IV chronic kidney disease, Medicare Part B covers up

to 6 kidney disease education sessions. In the sessions, you'll talk

about things like: How to manage other diseases related to your

kidney disease, like diabetes and high blood pressure. How to

prevent complications of kidney disease. How your kidneys work.

What to eat and drink. How your prescription drugs work, and

What options you have if your kidneys get worse, like dialysis and

kidney transplants

Make this the month you get smart about kidney disease - Medicare's

kidney education can teach you how to take the best possible care of

your kidneys and give you information you need to make informed

decisions about your care. To learn more about your Medicare benefits,

check out other videos in our Medicare & You video series on You Tube,

or visit Medicare.gov.

Medicare & You: COPD Awareness Month - Duration: 2:01.

Hi, I'm Angela with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services,

and I'm here to share some important information about chronic

obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, for short). Did you know COPD is

one of the leading causes of death in the U.S? November is National

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Awareness Month, and Medicare can

help you detect, prevent, and manage COPD. Medicare Part B covers a

yearly lung cancer screening with Low Dose Computed Tomography, as long

as you meet these criteria: First, you must be age 55-77.

Next, you don't have signs or symptoms of lung cancer (this is also

called "asymptomatic"). Also, you must be a smoker or you quit

smoking within the last 15 years. Next, you have a tobacco smoking

history of at least 30 "pack years" (or an average of one pack a day for

30 years). Finally, you must get a written order from your doctor

or other qualified provider.

And the best part is you'll pay nothing for this service if the provider

meets the appropriate standards and accepts assignment.

Before your first lung cancer screening, you'll need to schedule a lung

cancer screening counseling and shared decision making visit with your

doctor to discuss the benefits and risks of lung cancer screening. You

and your doctor can decide whether lung cancer screening is right for

you.

Millions of people are living with COPD but don't even know it, so it's

important to take advantage of this free screening, just in case!

Now if you've already been diagnosed with moderate to very severe COPD,

don't worry - Medicare can help you too. Medicare Part B covers a

comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program that'll make you

stronger, help you breathe better, and allow you to live more

independently. To learn more about your Medicare benefits, check out

other videos in our Medicare & You video series on YouTube, or visit

Medicare.gov.

Medicare & You: World health day - Duration: 1:04.

Hi I'm Angela at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and I

have some tips on getting the most out of your Medicare health insurance so you

can be healthier. April seventh is World Health Day and the best way to stay

healthy is to live a healthy lifestyle all year long. You can live a healthy

lifestyle and prevent disease by exercising, managing stress, eating well,

keeping a healthy weight, getting enough sleep and not smoking. And in fact

Medicare pays for many preventive services like exams, shots, lab tests and

screenings to keep you healthy. Medicare also includes programs for monitoring

your health and counseling and education to help you take care of your own health.

By taking advantage of preventive services you could detect a disease

early and lessen its effects or prevent getting ill all together. To learn more

about your Medicare benefits, check out the other videos in our Medicare and

You series on YouTube or visit medicare.gov

Medicare & You: National Wear Red Day - Duration: 1:55.

Hi, I'm Angela at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I've got

some important information to share with you about National Wear Red Day and

heart disease. National Wear Red Day happens every year on the first Friday

in February to remind everyone that heart disease is the number one killer

of women. Heart disease kills nearly one in three women every year; about one woman every

80 seconds and more than all kinds of cancer combined. 90% of women ages 40 to

60 have one or more risk factors that raises their chance of developing heart

disease. In fact, having just one risk factor doubles the chance of developing

heart disease. The good news is that there are things you can do to lower

your chance of developing heart disease and medicare can help. Every 5 years,

Medicare covers a cardiovascular screening. This screening includes tests

to help detect heart disease and measures cholesterol, blood fat which is

also called lipids, and triglyceride levels. You can also take steps to stay

healthy by preventing, understanding and controlling heart disease risk factors

like, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and prediabetes,

smoking, being overweight or obese, being physically inactive, having a family

history of early heart disease, having a history of preeclampsia during pregnancy,

an unhealthy diet, or age (which is 55 or older for women). While some risk factors,

like family history and age can't be controlled, many others can. So work with

your doctor to learn how you can do things like change your diet or become

more active to lower your cholesterol. To learn more about your Medicare benefits,

check out our other videos in our Medicare and You video series on YouTube

Medicare & You: Preventing Medicare Fraud - Duration: 1:20.

Hi, I'm Angela the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I've got some

important information to share with you about preventing Medicare fraud. Fraud

costs Medicare a lot of money each year and you pay for fraud with higher health

care costs and higher taxes. But there's good news.

Medicare is working harder than ever to find and prevent fraud and abuse. We're

working more closely with health care providers and strengthening the way we

review Medicare claims for possible billing fraud, and we need your help too.

Here are some things you can do to help us fight fraud. First, guard your Medicare

and Social Security numbers. Treat them just like you would treat your credit

cards. Next, hang up the phone if someone calls and asks for your Medicare number,

your social security number or your bank or credit card information, and check

your Medicare claims for errors. You should also be looking at your Medicare

summary notice or MSN or statements that you get from your Medicare plan. You can

also check my Medicare gov or call 1-800- MEDICARE as soon as your claims have

been processed, and if you suspect fraud call 1-800-MEDICARE. The sooner you see

and report errors, the sooner we can stop fraud. To learn more visit medicare.gov
