Waching daily Jul 2 2018

hey guys Maria Mitchell here thanks for joining me for another face painting

tutorial in this lesson we're gonna learn how to face paint this unicorn

mask super colorful and pretty and I'm using my favorite Caribbean called

rainbow cake by silly farm which I absolutely love the colors are just

stunning together and it works really well with this unit on masks start off

by loading up your half sponge with the Carribean called rainbow cake with the

gold end of the sponge stipple the gold from the inner of the ice and making

your way outwards using the edge of the sponge to bring that down downward in a

diagonal doing exactly the same over the eyelids and for the topper part of the

eye and doing it on the other side flipping your sponge for us of the gold

is pointing to the middle and then sponging on that complete rainbow cake

now with that golden tip of the sponge try to bring in the gold to connect

through the bridge of the nose if you get any of that orange on the skin just

wipe it off and just try to use the tip of that sponge now just loading up my

tag magpie split cake with my half inch flat brush now for the unicorn head

we're gonna bring the brush it down into a curve and stop at the bottom of that

curve curve it downward for a short flap stroke and for the unicorns jaw bring it

right down in a straight line and then serve it up while we're here we'll bring

our brush relax and curve it downward in a diagonal and where the jawline stabbed

we'll bring our brush flaps vertically and then bring it down to a curved

downward where the jawline starts we're going to do a comet downward and that'll

be the unicorn to be with the heel of the brush with and white is loaded just

filling in any gaps as well as extending that white part of the unicorns heads

now I've just loaded up my number four round brush with some superstar white

for the unicorn hole just do a teardrop coming upward making it rather long now

loading up the Aqua from the Caribbean cool rainbow cake I'm gonna start

drawing on the mane so just by doing a series of teardrops coming out and just

making sure that it looks like the hair of the unicorn is flowing to one

direction throwing a couple of curls and swirls also gives it the effect that the

unicorns Mane is flowing in the women

after the back part of the main we're just gonna do a curve downward now I'm

using a number zero brush you can use that a number one the tip of the number

two or a liner brush whatever you feel comfortable in doing small fine lines

making sure the eye is relatively close to the unicorns ear outlining the

unicorns ear as well as the uniforms body under the main slicking up for the

unicorns mouth for the unicorn horn I like to do a series of diagonal lines

with a curve at the end curving upward to the point of the unicorn horn and at

the ear flicking upward for an earlobe with some white loaded onto a number six

round brush we're going to do some teardrops from thin to thick to thin all

pointing to the center of the face and then continuing on with some teardrops

coming through to the center of the face but they're all staggered so each

teardrop as it gets to the center of the face becomes smaller

now for the top of the mass we're gonna start off with one teardrop from thick

to thin and then a curved teardrop coming down all pointing to the center

of the face as well

pressing your brush down flap to make the thicker part of the brushstroke and

as you lift the brush off the face and of the skin they'll become smaller and

thinner now with the number four round brush loaded up with white we're gonna

draw some wing like spikes that are pointing downward with your brush

heavily loaded with some white and almost on the water is side make some

dots coming inwards as well as on the center of the face make them thick by

pressing right down and thinner by barely pressing as we reach the inner of

the face now outlining the entire mane of the Unicorn

making some diagonal stars by flicking your brush outwards four times

and a dot plus two right up the top of the horn now this is the last step we've

loaded up a number two round brush with some bronze and I'm going to carefully

outline all of the teardrops that's making our mask now this will bring the

whole mask together and we're essentially just

outlining the outside of the teardrops and not in between them as we're coming

around the curves we're pressing it down to make it a thicker stroke and there

you have a super colorful unicorn mask I hope you enjoyed this thanks for

watching if you got something out of this and make sure that you give it a

thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe if you have any face painting related

You had no choice when I came to your side

But yet I answer to your beck and call

Just keep pretending that you have the foresight

To not be ensnared

Temptation will bring your downfall

And the twinkling of the stars

In your hands and your eyes

And in the server lights

It'll never get you far

It's too grand and I'll see

The person that you'll be

Keep on trying your luck

Keep on making me smile

When you're crying for love

I will take, I'll defile

Forgive me now when I don't know what I've done

Forgive me now when I know what I have done

Your kindness, my mercy

I don't know what's worse, see

It never stops!

You'll keep on trying as long as you have hope

You'll give up trying when you run out of hope

Your blood on my lips

The taste of a kiss that

I won't give up!

And the twinkling of the stars

In your hands and your eyes

And in the server lights

It'll never get you far

It's too grand and I'll see

The person that you'll be

Keep on trying your luck

Keep on making me smile

When you're crying for love

I will take, I'll defile

Is it my fault when all of your plans just fall apart?

Can you blame me for staying and working way too hard?

Don't feel sorry, I know what I came for: To see you

Do you want me to stop my support and leave you too?

And the twinkling of the stars

In your hands and your eyes

And in the server lights

It'll never get you far

It's too grand and I'll see

The person that you'll be

Keep on trying your luck

Keep on making me smile

When you're crying for love

I will take, I'll defile

Wake up.

Come back.

How To Fit A Desk Chair To Your Body - Duration: 3:53.

Hi everyone, how are you going? Karen Finnin here

Physiotherapist and Director of Online Physio. So in the last video we talked

about how to choose the right chair for you for your office, and today we're

talking about how to fit it to you. Just the chair first, and then we're going to

talk about adding it into your actual desk. So first things first just have a

seat in it now. If you've selected the right chair there should be a little gap

between the front of the seat pan and the back of your knees, and sit nice and

far back in the chair. Now the first thing that I want you to do is find the

lever that tilts the backrest back, and we want to tilt that back a little bit

okay? I'm just going to bring it forward again to show you. We used to think the

theory was we wanted a 90 degree angle between the backrest and the seat, and

therefore in your hips as well, and that's all very good and well in an

ideal world where we maintain good posture all day every day, but look

reality is, we know this is not the case and unfortunately when you're seated

bolt upright like so, the only way to go is forward. So when you fatigue and slump

the head's drifting forward, the shoulders are drifting forward and

that's when we develop pain and issues in our neck. So instead the theory now is

that if you can tilt your backrest slightly back it actually puts you in a

position where you're further back, your head is slightly forward, but now when

fatigue sets in gravity will pull you back towards the chair rather than

drifting you forwards when my seat was upright. Do you see the difference? From

here me relaxing is simply me sinking into the chair and not really changing

position much. So really what we're looking for is about a 100 to 110 degree

angle here. In layman's terms basically from bolt upright just tweak it back a

little bit to the point where when you feel you slump you don't really go

anywhere. Now from there we also want to adjust

the height of the backrest. If you're sitting upright and you put your hands

into the small of your back, that is where your lumbar support should be

sitting. So slide your whole backrest up or down accordingly so that you feel

that the sticky out bit of your backrest is nestling into that spot where your

hands want to go when you want to put them in the small of your back. Okay I

have adjusted mine already so mine sits in there beautifully. Now that you've got

the backrest and the lumbar roll height correct, just have a look at the seat pan

tilt. My lever is here. This will tilt the actual whole chair forward or back. So

because I've adjusted the backrest perhaps I might find a different point

is a bit more comfortable. Again don't be shy to tip back slightly so that your

fatigue point is to nestle into the chair in the same position, rather than

crumpled forwards. Then it's all about the height. Adjust the height to the point

where your feet are resting flat and squarely on the ground. Don't worry about

your desk or computer at this stage, we just want to see what the ideal height

for your feet is. Good contact on the floor with the whole sole of your feet

and your knees not higher than your hips basically. So you want good contact

along the seat as well. Then what I want you to do is grab yourself a tape

measure and measure from the floor to the top of that seat pan and just write

this measurement down and remember it for next time. In the next video I'm

going to talk about sliding in to your actual keyboard and desk and getting the

rest of the setup right for you. We'll see you next time

Bye

Rail Project Victoria Graduate Program - Tim - Duration: 2:38.

Hi, I'm Tim. I'm a Civil Engineering Graduate at Network Transition Project.

I was attracted to the program due to the sheer size of the project. I always wanted

to work in rail infrastructure and be involved. I commuted through the rail loop so many times

and I just wanted to fix what the congestion problem that's actually occurring.

What I most like about being on the program is being

involved in different disciplines such as civil and power. I get to choose with my

manager which aspects I actually most like and want to get involved with and they

were able to facilitate that. I'm able to talk to different staff members of

different disciplines and I can always get involved in the track, electrical

power, overheads, and they always happy to give me help and assistance or even to

join the tasks at some times.

My biggest takeaway is to be around subject-matter experts who can

facilitate so much knowledge to me and being around really like-minded people

who are always willing and happy to help.

I'm learning from a lot of different staff from the traction power to civil and

electrical. I've been given my own task, so it's your own project and your own

responsibilities, and they always contribute to the actual whole progress

life of the Metro Tunnel. Very, very different from an internship.

The best part of the program is the training and learning that is actually happening

on site and also externally. There's a lot of graduate training that is

involved and they involve all the grads as well so you actually get to bond with

them (from different disciplines) which is actually really nice, you get to

see what they're doing as well and being able to possibly rotate within their

sector on the next rotation.

The workload changes from week to week from design

review to deliverables tracking and report writing, so it just depends on

what your team needs at the time and you've got to adapt quickly and

just go with the flow.

Definitely apply, it's such a big project. There's a lot to do and a lot to learn and

you won't you probably would really initially realise that what you're

actually doing is contributing more benefits than one and there are

different aspects of the project that you're probably not aware of and you can

actually engage with them as well.
